Takeshi: Rokon (would've been better if it evolved T-T). I liked Iwark as well, if only for the fact that it was the only big, monstrous, threatening Pokemon that was in the group for a good while near the beginning.
Kasumi: um.... they all kinda suck. Well, Koduck had comic relief going for it. I liked Nyoromo/Nyorozo BEFORE it evolved, and I wish she had used Starmie more. Tattsuu was a cutie, but it pains me that it had to be so f***in' useless. I think I'll go with Koduck in the end.
Musashi: Arbok (cobras>vipers). Though, Habunake's my favorite of her current team (Sounansu's funny, but snakes always kick ***).
Kojirou: Definitely Manene. I really like Nyaasu as well, but he doesn't belong to either one of them in particular. I just thought I'd mention him under Kojirou since I already gave Musashi a side comment and really had nothing else to say about Kojirou's other Pokemon, since my choice is easily the embodiment of cuteness.
Kosaburou: Um... we never really got attached to Yamato and Kosaburou's Pokemon, but I'll go with Guraena. I wonder if any particular one of them owned that Sleep in the Orange Islands, though (I'm pretty sure the Ratta from their debut ended up belonging to Yamato). Yeah, that Sleep was pretty kickass.
Yamato: If she's the reason some people mistake my gender, I'm gonna.... [cough] uh, same problems as Kosaburou. Ratta gets credit for being probably their only Pokemon to show characterization (that Rocket flashback Housou), but Yamirami's a pretty interesting Pokemon.
Shuu: Flygon. Hey, call 'em over-rated if you must, but I like dragons. For that matter, I always found Flygon to be a pretty cool Pokemon, and ever since Satoshi used one in the Jirachi movie, I hoped he'd end up with one. Well... went to at least one major character in the end. You can tell I'd be pretty pissed if this Pokemon went to some one-shot nobody, or even a gym leader whom, as important and memorable as they may be, you just know they're never gonna show up again (as was the case with Hakuryuu T-T). On another note, Flygon's thus far the only Pokemon that.... er.... hurt?.... Zenigame.
Harley: They're all pretty great, but Octan definitely gets props for delivering Haruka the pwning she's been asking for since pulling that deus ex machina in Yamabuki. Now if one of them could beat the living crap out of Zenigame later, they'd instantly shoot up to my #1 favorite.
Shigeru: I'm trying to decide between Blacky and Dodrio. Following them, his Nidoking was pretty cool too. Sadly, we didn't see it since Kantou, but his Nidoqueen's great as well.
Hadzuki: Either Kakureon or Nyula.
Tetsuya: Nyaasu-in-Boots
Masamune: Gligar
Nanako: Meganium, though it's nice to see a Spear do something other than chase down the group for the illionth time.
Hiroshi: Well... Leon looks pretty nifty with that tuft. Cruz is good too, though I hope it evolves into a Bangiras.

May- Combusken/Squirtle/Bulbasaur- I guess I have a thing for Starters. No but really I liked these ones for many different reasons.
Brock-Ludicolo/Crobat- Ludicolo being one of the few not bland pokemon of Brock's. I guess Crobat just grew on me after it left. Marshtomp and Bonsly were runner ups though.
Misty- Azurill/Horsea- I always like Horsea. Azurill is one of the only babies that has actually done something important soon after hatching.Jessie- Seviper/Wobbuffet- Seviper is her main poke. Wobbufet is comedic and can be strong when he wants to.
James- Chimecho/Manene- These two I really enjoy both of them important to James as well. Although Chimecho left in Japan its still in the Dub.
Tracey- Scyther- not much else to choose from.
Drew- Masquerain- I think its a good balance between his three pokemon that also accurately describe him as being both stylish and powerful.
Harley- Bannete/Octillery- I like both of these pokemon even before he owned them. They are very quirky as well.
Tetsuya- Meowth 'n boots- OMG an actual background story thats interesting and matters.
Masanume- Girafarig/Gligar- honestly whats not to love about his team. I hope that Masanume returns for the D/P saga.

Why Noctowl for ash?


I pikced Noctowl because I love it. I think that it is so cool and shiny and i love how it moves its head and stuff, and how he caught it was good. I wish he would of caught a hoot hoot first though. Anyway, Cyndaquil and Swellow come in a close second with it.
