View Full Version : Hi everyone

There is a small potential that some people here know me.
I was refered to this site via the Pojo message boards where I do my YGO thing.
I haven't really played these games in ages. I essentially stopped before Crystal. But for my bday last year my buddies got my Leaf Green. So that combined with me needing something to consume my travel time brought me back into the game.
I never went online for it before, so all my old games have no IV/EV considerations in them at all. I'll be doing it this time around though. Some of the guys around me play as well so I figured why not?
I came here since I've heard it's the best site/ressource for the game.
Apparently my signature text scheme doesn't go with the background here, i'll need to do some testing

Hi, and welcome to SPPf, BobDoily. I myself could say SPPf, or SPP.net is quite resourceful for all your Pokémon needs. The forums isn't just for Pokémon either, as you will be able to tell if you stay active long enough. (: And SPPf stands for Serebii Pokémon Pages forums, if you didn't know that already.
Here are some important links for you to look through.. if you haven't, that is.
User CP (http://www.serebiiforums.com/usercp.php) - Customize your signature and profile, set options, choose a pregiven avatar, upload a profile picture if you want. Play around with it.
"I'm new" - Not an excuse (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=96173) - by SMod Latios.
Reading the first post, it helps! (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=104750) - by SMod Latios.
Get your Signature Checked!!! (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=103081) - Remember to read the first post, and then check your signature ONLY here that it doesn't break any rules. Also, I'm one of the authorized members to check sigs, but I won't bite if you don't break the rules.
Newbie Help Topic and FAQ (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=91015)
Search Tool (http://www.serebiiforums.com/search.php) - your friendly tool, rather than a "friend."
Adopt-A-Newbie Agency (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=87521) - for newbies to be adopted, or adoptees to adopt a newbie.. Adoption is for older members to help around the newer ones. The owner, Locke Yggdrasill is a loveable, outgoing guy so listen to him or be reported.

Also, if you aren't satisfied with the default skin, you may also change the skins around to the desired one on the bottom left corner. Be sure to read the stickies and announcements, along with searching before you make any new threads. Along with no double, triple, etc. posting or spamming unnecessarily.

midnight eefi. thanks for the heads up. Excellent, skin chooser. It's been a long time since i've been on a forum where I could change the skin outside of my admin panel.
Yeah, i'm a veteran of forums in general, so once i have some time my profile etc will be toned up to my normal standards. Thanks for letting me know the name format for the different staff members.

yeah I read them over.
But no abusing smilies :(
That's okay, I've ran into some trouble admining/moding sites before so I know how annoying they can become. Especially when someone overflows a post with them. (the admin on that site wasn't smart enough to limit the ammount per post).
