Typhlosion:
HP Grass
Roar/Earthquake
Flamethrower
Thunderpunch

Gyarados:
Endure
Reversal(NYPC)/Flail
HP Flying
Headbutt/Curse/Roar/Return/Frustration

But since you're using the Shiny Gyarados:

Hydro Pump
Return
HP Flying
Curse/Roar

If you don't have HP Flying on it, I say keep breeding a regular Gyarados with a Shiny ditto to get a HP FLying Shiny Magikarp (You'll have to evolve it to see it's HP >_<;

But even that is highly unlikely...

In that case, you're Gyarados is royally screwed :/

Gender: Male
Nickname: Waterking
Item Holding: Mint Berry
Moveset:

-----------------------
Umbreon Level 58
Gender: Male
Nickname: Shadowfox

Moveset:

Charm/Curse
Rest
Mean Look
Baton Pass
Umbreon works better as a baton passer rather than a attacker. You can use Curse to boost Attack and Defense for Gyrados or Charm to lower you oppenents attack.

Don't laugh at the nicknames. I think that they fit the description of the Pokemon perfectly.

My changes are in bold. You got quite a Lightning weakness and some Ground weakness too.

Nothing.
I think you should just train your three weaker pokemon to a higher level.
Hope i helped

IIRC SD doesn't make FB hit 100% of the time. Keep FB anyway though, because its accuracy is 85%, compared to 70% with Blizzard and Thunder.

You are correct. But IIRC, Thunder's Accuracy lowers

if thplosion has HP ice then in theory would all of its weaknesses be covered?

No, that's HP Grass.

Fire's 3 weaknesses are Rock, Ground, and Water.

Ice may be SA against Ground, but it does normal damage to rock and does only half the damage to water.

All three of those types are weak against Grass, though.

HP Ice, if you want to Pseudo Bolt-beam, HP Grass if you want to cover all of Typhlosion's weaknesses.

Changes in bold
Some suggestions require Pokémon Stadium 2 or R/B/Y versions so if you don't have at least one of them, ignore my suggestions
