View Full Version : My Scizor needs help

Can't think of a name

Hello, I need a movelist for my Scizor. EVs and natures are not important, though.

I'm trying to keep this Scizor for in-game battling, seeing as I don't go to these pokemon gala battling things (or whatever they are called. lol)

So far, it has:
Steel wing
Metal claw
Ariel Ace
Hyper beam.

Most of these moves are pretty dud, because I traded it to a friend who seems to think hyper beam is the best thing since sliced bread. lol

Here's my actual idea:
Steel wing/metal claw
Ariel Ace
Slash
swords dance

Keep the Steel Wing
Get it to learn Baton Pass, Agility and Swords Dance.

That's my opinion.

^That is a better moveset for Scizor.
I suggest going with that

;227; This sweeping moveset should be good for ingame.

Scizor
Adamant/Jolly Nature(Preferably Jolly)
Leftovers
EVs: (If you want them) 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Substitute
Swords Dance
AA
Fury Cutter

Get a Sub up and Swords Dance. Then pull another Sub(if necessary) and start Fury Cutting. You can sweep entire teams like this ingame. This is my novelty set, which probably makes baby Stalin cry, so all you NBers don't have to say that I suck, K?

You know you wouldn't have a problem from me if you put Silver Wind over Fury Cutter. When FC misses, baby Hitler/Jesus/Stalin cry in unison.

This is probably for if you can't breed for SW, because SW's probably better. But at least it works for me. But since it's ingame you could always use X Accuracy. Fury Cutter has sweeping potential, but other moves are most likely better. Go for SW.

X Accuracy is a waste of a move though.

Can't use X-inhancers in the BF. they fail anyway

Scizor @ Leftovers
Careful Nature (+SpDef, -SAtk)
- Agility/Swordsdance
- Silver Wind
- Swords Dance/Irondefence/Substitute
- Baton Pass
A Baton Pass pokemon isn't meant much for sweeping
and a careful Scizor can take Thunderbolts and Surfs pretty
well enough to setup =)
