Ninetails/FireFox
Modest Nature
Item: Petaya Berry
Ability: Flash Fire
Female
Lv. 50
Moveset:
Sunny Day
OverHeat
Grudge
Confuse Ray

Here is my Kamikazi Ninetails. Her stratagey is to power up with Sunny Day, launch 2 Overheats, then switch out. Confuse Ray is there to get Ninetails out of a pickle, and Grudge is there in case Ninetails won't make it through the match. I found this moveset to work well with Ninetails. What do you think?

~Will-o-Wisp
~Fire Blast
~Grudge
works best imo.

Seeing as Ninetales will only last about one turn against most things, and you don't have HP Grass... I wouldn't use Ninetales at all. It's crappy. :X

I'd go with Tazzler+Janina's set suggestion if I were you, with Confuse Ray over Grudge since depleting all of the CPU's PP for one move doesn't help much if you're about to knock out the CPU anyways.

Thing is, if you do wow and confuse ray together, they contradict considering wow lowers attack and when it hits itself in confusion, they won't hurt themselves much. Still it can work and does in-game ;/

Every good ninetales owner needs to take advantage of its Disable
Sub/Fireattack/Wisp/Disable
when something breaks your sub with a supereffective move, Disable it!
that way you can safely proceed to attack it or get a free switch..
Its worked wonders in netbattle to the typical waters, it can do wonders here too!

I personally wouldn't rely on its piss poor accuracy, not to mention the AI will most likely use a move that's not even super effective against ninetales ¬¬; Suppose it could work though D:

I would rather use Disable than kill my good Ninetales
for silly waste of PP, and as you said it might not even be a
useful or supereffective move the AI uses to kill you.
As I say though, if people rely on Hypnosis then how bad can
disable be? Its really awesome when you disable a water poke's surf
since their Icebeam will do terrible damage, shame you don't have
a Hiddenpower to fight back but Hypnosis could be an option as the
4th move as well.
