Utopia Tree - Invasion, 9th Edition. Rare
1G: Creature - Plant
T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
The fruit of this fabled tree takes on the flavor of whatever food you love most.
0/2

Ofcourse, the turn 2 form of Birds of Paradise. This just tries really hard to be a main deck or even a staple like BOP or elves... but falls short. Sadly, Sakura Tribe Elder would be played over this as a 2 drop. Simply play elves/birds > this otherwise.

The Duck's Rating: 1.5/5

simply because there are other better options. A good pick for limited however, slimming up your mana coverage nicely.

Also, I would like to note that i'll start dissension COTD's tomorow, starting with the release card. *not telling just incase some people prefer not to know + the suprise factor*

Your basically playing two mana for a Birds without flying and an extra point of toughness, a point of toughness that does not really matter. 2/5

Not that useful. But it can be an alternative if you're building a deck that requires a whole load of mana. I mean, you can have 4 more mana producers. Isn't that good?

Imagery:

(4th Turn)

Summoning Chorus of the Conclave.

Opponent: Yeah yeah, whatever.

(turn after that)

SUMMON DARKSTEEL COLOSSUS WITH LOTS OF +1/+1 COUNTERS ON IT!!!

Opponent: NOEZ!!!!

[/imagery]

Soooo.....yeah.

Or something like that I guess... The any colour is useful of course, but the Birds are better IMO.

True. Very true.

Well, I still say it's a good standby mana producer. Red/Green over-mana-spam direct damage deck anyone?

Fireball/Rolling Thunder.......
