From the video (http://media.wii.ign.com/media/818/818481/vids_1.html) i only saw 2 trainers battling in a double battle, and i never saw anybody walking in a pokemon center or walking in cities, etc. but i think that its gonna be an adventure game, and i think that the video was probally just a multiplayer battle. and i really do hope that it will be a little bit like pokemon stadium (battling with any pokemon u like in some multiplayer battles). but what do u think? and one other thing if it is an adventure game (most likely) do u think that u will be a good guy or a bad guy? cuz (as u already know) u were a bad guy in pokemon colosseum.

http://serebii.net/battle says:
Pokémon Battle Revolution is a game coming out on the Nintendo Wii in 2007. This game is an update to the previous Pokémon Stadium games but also has an RPG element, like how Colosseum had the RPG and Battling aspects.

SPP has a website y'know.

And please don't use 'u' for 'You' or '2' for 'To'.

You weren't exactly a "bad guy" in Colosseum - more of a bad-guy-turned-good.

But I do hope Serebii is right about there being an RPG aspect of it. You can only play a plotless game for so long before you get bored of it.

I though the release date was late 2006?

I really hope that the game has a Stadium Mode from Pokemon Coliseum or I'll be really upset. I miss having the mini-games and Gym Leader Castle from Pokemon Stadiums 1 & 2. :(

There better be an RPG of it.Its what I basically wanted from XD and what shouldnt have gone from colosseum.

Either is fine for me. Adventure Mode would be like pulling an anchor and Challenge Mode is for challenging against your opponent and learning your opponent's pokemon's weakness and exploit it.

Do you think you can trade and battle with a GBA (like on XD)?

You can with a DS, don't know about the GBA yet, though.

There's no way that Revolution won't be a RPG. I don't see it being only Battle Mode, no one would buy it if that happened.

Let's all hope they move on from another Shadow Pokemon plot. Not that I have anything against the idea, but it's been used twice now, and put quite a lot of fans I know off a console based game.

Anyway, definitely looking forward to this.

I hope it has both. Adventure Mode and Stadium-ish mode would be most enjoyable IMO.

there should be an adventure mode (hopefully), and probably a stadium mode as well. I'm likely to get it immediately on the release date IF i can get a wii, i want it so bad...

well the portable system for 64 was gameboy. the portable system for gamecube was gameboy advance. so obiously the portable system for revolution (hate the name wii!!) is the ds. so no i do not think that the gameboy advance can link up with the (hate this name!!) wii. but there might be ways.. i dont know. maybe u can, cuz on the trailer it showed the protonganists from fr/lg. so maybe.

it comes out in august/october. it has to, cuz the game release dates on http://www.ebgames.com/search.asp?sortby=default&searchtype=quicksearch&searchcount=12&Keyword=&platform=34&find.x=48&find.y=16 says that the games will come out by that time.

ghost, do you even realize that you quintuple posted?

Don't get banned just because you're trying to help. Use the EDIT button. Love the EDIT button.

About connecting the GBA to the Wii: Since the Wii WILL have Gamecube controller ports, you'll be able to connect a GBA that way (they might even support the wireless adapter).

I hope that there will be a good adventure mode in this one, the Colloseum one sucked and I didn't even bother buying XD. I also hope that you can do stadium battles like on Stadium/2 and the gymleaders on those two. I also hope that mini-games will return, LOTS of mini-games :P

And ghost1125, reported for quintuple(sp?)-posting. You can edit you know...

I don't want an adventure mode. I want the game to be similar to the old Stadium games.

i say Computer Battle (Mt. Battle, Stadium 2 "Adventure", etc.) RPG(Not colloseum-esque), AND 2P battle W/ Pick yer Ow Comp. Owned Pkmn (like stadium's 2P battle, where you don't need a GBA game)

why do so many people hate colo and XD story both of them broke away from the some old gameplay and I would welcome it if they use it again.

I would like both.

-The RPG should be different from both Colo and the GBA games. Hm, I once had a dream about a GCN game. In it, the all the legendaries were going nuts and destroying stuff, but they weren't shadow Pokemon, either. Groudon killed a Camerupt and Kyogre caused a massive shipwreck. Rayquaza wrapped its body around a tower in the sky and breathed green flames on it, yet it still wasn't destroyed. I don't remember what the other legendaries did, though.

-Something similar to Mt. Battle and Multiplayer battles are must-haves.

-Stadium-esque battles, Gym Leader Castle with every gym leader and E4 member from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Shinou, and Battle Now similar to the Challenge Cup, but with legendaries, should also be included.

I also agree that it should be the best of both, everyone will be happy!

I want rental Pokemon again, even if there's an RPG mode, you got to know the Pokemon better you know?

Adventure mode.
I still want them to waste their time and make a game for Wii that allows you to go to every region....

MugenKeiji

I want an Adventure Mode still. Genius Sonority is one of those developers who don't do much at first but are willing to learn from their mistakes. I mean they used to work on Dragon Warrior and Earthbound for cornsakes, the potential is THERE but not polished for 3D up until now.

I feel that Battle Revolution will be a time to put that to the test, if not for their graphical shortcomings on GameCube then definitely to show people what the Wii is made of (a transformation much akin to what Smash Bros was on N64 to its transition to GameCube)

Another short 15-20 hour RPG scenario mode can fit on a Wii disc without much struggle. If all backgrounds can look as good as the "future city" shown in the software demo (heck, Colosseum's were fairly decent), we might even attract NON-Pokemon gamers into the mix...but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Really, PBR's potential is a lot better than the GCN games in visuals and the gameplay for battle scenes seems to be less of a chore too, based on what we've seem so far. Pokemon on a different interface (DS) can make for interesting matches for now or the future and if online play is an option it could be the very thing the franchise needs for a marketing revival.

I'd just be happy for 16:9 480p support, regardless of the features.

I want a real adventure. Colosseum didn't suck, but was bad. XD was way better, as MugenKeiji, Genius Sonority learned from its mistakes and made it better. Its graphics were better, and so was the adventure, but not enough to pass. Give Battle Revolution a real adventure and don't ruin a Pokémon masterpeice in the making

why do so many people hate colo and XD story both of them broke away from the some old gameplay and I would welcome it if they use it again.

Because that's not what they wanted for a console RPG. They wanted a 3D version of Kanto, Johto, or Hoenn with Wild Pokemon and such. I think the Shadow Pokemon story could've been better used for a side game like Ranger.

I want them to really focus on making a Good 3-D RPG. XD was alright, but it's not quite good enough. and as far as mini games go, they should be there too but should be thrid in the priority line, following the Multipler featues, and the rpg.
