Ok, here's some feedback that might help you improve your site.

The background and parts of text (the text not coloured pure white) sort of "emulate" to form a fuzzy grey matter. I'd recommend using pure white text for the best contrast and readability.

The navigation is nice, but there also needs to be a slightly larger contrast between the hover and normal states. Make the navigation bits in hover state lighter. People like to know that the page is responding to them, and the only way they can know is to see it. It sort of acts psychologically on the client, giving them a sense of security. It's true.

If you use XHTML 1.1, learn to put alt="" attributes to all <img> tags. It's officially required.

I appreciate the advice.

About the hover states, I wanted the box color changes to be subtle. I didnt want them to draw so much attention away from the overall feel of the site. Most sites of this nature dont have any lighting of any kind, so I dont see that as an issue.

And I'll check out the alt function later aswell. Thx again.

The difference doesn't have to be huge, I think I'm right when I say a slightly larger contrast wouldn't damage the effect you were after. It's a bit too soft in my opinion, like a drink with 1 part juice 9 parts water. That's how I'd describe it, but do as you wish.

I see what your saying. I'll test out some values to see what looks best asap. Thx.

And the site move is official. It is now Burndiego.com. Big update in the mornin' aswell.
