5/10. So-so power, so little PP, and chanses of raising all state by a level is too low.

8/10,cuz if hax grants you its power,it rules! With stab=90 base power and with hax.........mwahahahahaha!

7.5/10 Used with a Pokemon with decent attack stats, it does considerable damage against flying and fire types.

5/10 -> Good haxxy move but it lacks pp and is overshadowed by the more powerful rock-slide

is it 100% accuracy? if it is change my vote to 7.5/10

Dunsparce Hax. 9/10.

it is 100%

I like it, is the PP uped move, I give it 8/10

19th August 2006, 10:48 PM
It's a good move, even though it has a base power of 60, it can be strong if it gets STAB, and if it lands a super-effective hit on the opponent.
That 10% chance of boosting all stats can really come in handy if it activates at the right time, and it really makes certain pokemon deadly.

The downside to it is the PP, even if you max it out, the most it can get is only eight, and you never know when or if you're going to get a stat boost. You may get a boost when you really don't need it, or if you're in a situation where a boost in stats can decide wheather or not you loose a match, it might not activate, and then you could end up loosing.

I rate it : 8/10

5/10 random stat boost hax is cool, but 5 PP and not-so-great power kill it.

5/10 for low PP and Power, but coolness factor.

4/10. I could've used it many times but I chose not to.

7/10. Good move, but not much PP. I only use it on a Rock pokemon or a pokemon holding a Hard Stone.

7/10, it's okay, great effect, but low power and PP hinders it.

25th August 2006, 11:33 PM
I give it an eight. The chance of a stat boost and the reliability is good, but it comes at the price of low pp.

7/10 Its a decent attack.

27th August 2006, 12:08 AM
a nice reliable atack in my opinion, whose only real downside is it's low PP.

it's power may not be the best, but there are worse attacks...many of them too. it's accuracy makes this attack useful, and against flying, fire and ice types it'll do some good damage despite it avarage power with a 100% chance of hitting.

just don't rely on it's effect, the odds are just bad.

27th August 2006, 2:35 AM
5/10 because of the low PP and power, but 7/10 if you happen to have a rock-type that knows it and 8/10 if it happens to increase your stats.

27th August 2006, 5:08 AM
I love Ancient Power, it's my favourite attack

I like the luck factor in Pokemon ok? Not to mention, if you GET the effect, well, how many attack effects in the game are better? It's a low chance (And Dunsparce? Pfft, why would I raise one and have it in the battle JUST to increase the chance by 10%? I'd either go Jirachi Or Togetic... rather, Jirachi. Just, Jirachi)

And a few interesting Pokemon learn it to (Ok, I'm biased, freakin Kecleon), and it's only downside I feel is a lack of Pokemon learn it, and it's un-PPed up PP (8 PP is definately excellent though, and it's worth the PP Ups)

9/10, originally I was gonna say 10/10, but I gotta be realistic.

Also props to Silver Wind, but that'd get a lower rating due to even fewer Pokemon learner it, and being a less useful type (It'd be a useful type if it came onto some non bug Pokemon)

9/10...one of my favourite moves although the low pp is a draw back.
