Same thing for people who read my Emerald Team post. I cant trade, and I dont know how to use hidden power or EV training and IV's and everything. I will breed if it's a good enough move, and I already have some breeding. Suggestions to new attacks and entirely new pokemon are highly appreciated and accepted. Thanks!

Here they are:

Nidoking (sweeper):
Sludge Bomb
Ice Beam
Iron Tail
Megahorn

Raichu:
Thunder
Thunderbolt
Rain Dance (higher acc in thunder and thunderbolt right?)
Body Slam/Mega Kick

Dragonite:
Dragon Dance
Outrage
Fly
Eartquake

Kabutops:
Bubble Beam
Aurora Beam
Mega Drain
Ancient Power/Slash/Sand- Attack/Endure

Flareon:
Fire Blast
Body Slam/Sunny Day
Smog/Rest
Flamethrower/Sunny Day

Blastoise:
Blizzard
Yawn/Rain Dance/Skull Bash
Hydro Pump
Yawn/Rain Dance/Skull Bash

BTW, If you clone pokemon, can you give them like tm's and master balls to hold and clone that too?
If so, how do you do it?

Thanks.
BTW, whats your sig mean about franzy plant? how is it different?

And so I dont spam my own thread, how do you get aerial ace on dragonite? TM?

Draonite gets Aerial Ace by TM.

That is, Hyper Beam, Hydro Cannon, and Blast Burn suck because there are moves of those types which do more damage over 2 turns. Although there is no such grass move, Frenzy Plant sucks because it's only available on tanking Pokemon and because you aren't allowed to switch after using it.

I still didnt quite understand it. Isn't Frenzy Plant Venasaurs signature move?

Anyway, do you think venasaur is better than blastoise?
Because I might put him in my team instead since I'll have a Kabutops.

If you could clone Master Balls, that would be interesting! Nice team, by the way!

iskate4nobody
7th September 2006, 11:24 PM
Well cant you give them to a pokemon and clone the ball with it?

Any suggestions on attacks then?

Whether or not it's a "signature move" isn't relavant if the move itself isn't great.

I prefer Venusaur.

Ok thanks.
Gotta Move Set.
I was gonna get Blastoise because he has an attack moveset, Venasaur has mre or a effect inducing moveset.

ok rain dance + thunder vs thunderbolt

turn 1

bolt = 95 power
rain dance = 0

turn 2

bolt = 190
thunder = 120

turn 3

bolt = 280
thunder = 240

turn 4

bolt = 370
thunder = 360

turn 5

bolt = 460
thunder = 480

it takes 5 turns for rain dance + thunder to do more accumulative damage then just using thunderbolt, which is entirely pointless, so you might as well just use thunderbolt

Megahorn

Iron tail sucks teach it Earthquake over it!

Raichu:
Thunder
Thunderbolt
Rain Dance (higher acc in thunder and thunderbolt right?)
Body Slam/Mega Kick

Good very good.. but it could use Iron tail instead of Thunder or thunderbolt!
and if its thunder then teach it Hidden power [water] for those ground types!

Dragonite:
Dragon Dance
Outrage
Fly
Eartquake

Replace Fly with AA! and outrage with Dragon claw!

Kabutops:
Bubble Beam
Aurora Beam
Mega Drain
Ancient Power

Bubble beam? no teach it Surf! and Acient power is awesome...

Flareon:
Body Slam
Sunny Day
Rest
Flamethrower

thats much better!

Blastoise:
Ice beam
Rain Dance
Surf
Earthquake

much much better Surf for Acc same for Ice beam!

BTW, If you clone pokemon, can you give them like tm's and master balls to hold and clone that too? Yes yes you can
If so, how do you do it?

I'd give it a 7 its the best team I rated so far!

yes,putting master ball or another rare item on a cloned pokemon makes everything exactly the same,stats,gender,held item,......everything.So yes you get 2 items after cloning,that is,if you put an item on it

-True^^ Rain Dance is best for Double battles.

-Anyway...the best Blastoise moveset would include both Mirror and Counter
Counter
Mirror Coat
Surf
HP Fire is better than Ice Beam in Blastoise's case.

-Blastoise could beat any poke one on one if you predict well enough.

Shadow Tyranitar

no.it is too hard to predict without encore(which he doesn't learn).It is luck based,mostly.It seems good,but never base him on just sending attacks back.I say:
Blastoise@leftovers
modest nature(4 this moveset)
Counter
Hp fire(rudibaker is right,here)
surf
protect(so you can get an idea of when to use counter)

No,actually he can't be any pokemon,a maxed out sp atk lapras with rain dance + thunder would murder Rudibaker's blasty in cold blood,even if blasty has good sp def...........
