Eternal Witness - Fifth Dawn. Uncommon
1GG: Creature - Human Shaman
When Eternal Witness comes into play, you may return target card from your graveyard to your hand.
She remembers every word spoken, from the hero's oath to the baby's cry.
2/1

the mighty hot eternal witness. 3 drop for a 2/1.... yeah... getting a card from your graveyard to your hand? great card. However, it costs TWO green mana. it's quite mana intensive infact but it's totally worth it.

The Duck's Rating:3.25/5

Eternal Witness....it's great. It's a Recollect on a creature that's just a little more color intensive. I've seen this before but the only card I've seen it get back before is Fact or Fiction.

"EOTFOFYL" End Of Turn Fact Or Fiction You Lose

3 for 2/1 and a card from your graveyard? Not bad.

-watches random U/G deck start pulling counters from graveyard-

Yup.

3/5.

It's not actually too mana intensive, since we have painlands, shocklands, and quality mana-fixing for green these days. Especially since this isn't your typical turn three drop, it's not mana intensive at all. As for the effect and body... I can't really see any truly good use for it. It might be a relearn substitute in Control, but I don't see this having much impact on any games. Seems like a "win-more" card, but it might help in a UG deck every once in a while. MIGHT.

It's a solid card overall though, so you can't really get down on it. I personally just think that there's better things to use.

It's mana intensive for me since i run it in a 3 colored Gifts deck. I can still manage to play it, it's just not convenient and consistent as it should be.

Probably why most 3-color gifts runs Recollect instead. Nearly anything is color intensive in three colors, even with dual lands. >_>. It might work as a substitute for Reclaim, but I don't really see Gifts needing to bend over and pick up three, or need enough speed to the point where it's gotten in an instant. Unless you REALLY wanted that Yosei...

But then again, I'm not too extended savvy. :P

Splice the Izzet? Oro?

Is it like Chronarch for splice targets? Glacial Ray to death? o_O? Apparently I'm not very casual-savvy either. :X

Unless it's combos were talking about. :P
