You've GOT to be joking!

28 Energy?! Knock it down to 16. 32 Pokémon?! Knock it down to 19.

ONE TRAINER?! *Drops dead* Kick it up to 25.

Then when you've made a decent deck, come back. See ya in a while.

I haven't got any trainers. Instead of telling me to get lost, I was wondering whether someone could give me some tips on which trainers to use???

I wasn't telling you to get lost, I apologise if it sounded like that.

From the more recent sets, Rare Candy is a must-have along with a few others like Holon Lass. From the original sets, Professor Oak and Bill are good, along with Pokédex and Poké Ball. Pokémon Center's good...if you've not got many Energy attached to your Pokés.

End of the day, you do need at least sixteen trainers in the deck. I once tried making decks with no trainer cards in, they were terrible...

replace rocket's wartortle with base set or FRLG if you have one.
rocket's wartortle sucks, and you don't have dark blastoise, so why bother.

replace dark gyarados with a regular gyarados as well, dark gyarados is awful.

replace the energy search with 2 water energy. Think about it. If you put 2 water energy in the place of the energy search, you'll draw the energies instead of the energy search (because those cards would be drawn as often as the energy searches would have been). This means you only play 1 card from your deck, rather than 2.

take out the nidoran, nidorina, and nidoqueen. they're not useful and you don't really have enough energy to power all those pokemon. replace them with 3 water energy, and 2 grass energy.

As for the trainers, I think you're okay.

I have changed it, now are you happy? Are there any cards (Pokémon) that I should get.

CONCUBINE

TAKE OUT THE ROCKET'S WARTORTLE. It's a waste of a card! It's weak and it doesn't evolve into anything in your deck.
If you want to get anything, get a blastoise ex. Also, I still really think you should remove the nidoran evolution line.

Can't Rockets Wartortle be used with Blastoise?

okothnuva
22nd September 2006, 5:01 AM
Nope. If it says "evolves from Wartortle", then it can only evolve from a card named Wartortle. Dark Wartortle or any other form of Wartortle won't work. THe only exceptions to this are Fossil Ditto and Brock's Ninetales.

chester
22nd September 2006, 5:11 AM
Damn. Well, I'll put a normal Wartortle in then... Lucky my friend didn't know.

Apart from that, is my deck good?

okothnuva
22nd September 2006, 5:46 AM
Ehh...no. You still have too many different evolutions.

chester
22nd September 2006, 6:05 AM
Should I get rid of the 2 Grimer and 1 Muk?

okothnuva
23rd September 2006, 7:27 AM
The Muks can stay, Take out the Blastoise, Gyarados, Vileplume, and Arbok lines. Up the Muk to 3-3, and the Crobat to 4 Zubat, 1 Golbat, 3 Crobat delta, 1 Crobat HL. This is what the list should look like.

3 Grimer LM
3 Muk (base)
4 Zubat, it doesn't really matter which one.
1 Golbat uh... HL I guess.
3 Crobat delta
1 Crobat N3 or HL

4 Computer Search
4 Item Finder
1 Nightly Garbage Run
4 Energy Removal
4 Super Energy Removal
4 Bill
2 Professor Oak
2 Mr. Fuji
2 Team Aqua's Hideout
1 Cursed Stone
2 Gust Of Wind

3 Holon Energy FF
3 Fighting Energy
4 Rainbow Energy
4 Grass Energy

I know it's a far cry from your current deck, but hey, it's not like anything else will work... : /
