Usually I don't do Pokemon sprite stuff, I mainly do Sonic stuff, still workin on a few, but here goes.

My only work finished just yet. Its a starter in a fake Pokemon game I made up. Here's the first evo-Aqrab. Where'd that Typhlosion come from? Oh well. The line is the start of the next one, Marclaw.

the shell on its head needs better outline shading, and the body is shaded horribly. The eyes could also use some more detail.
And why is there a Typhlosion there? 0_o

^Probably because s/he was using it as a reference.

The blue part of it is too bright. The middle shade also seems way too light and close to the light shade. Make a shade that's in between the middle and dark shade, use that as the new middle shade, then make a shade darker than the current dark shade and make that the new dark shade.

The two black shades are way too close together. Make three shades instead of two, and make them more contrasting. Also, the black part should be shaded more rounded.

Alright. That's usually how I shade other stuff, I don't really understand most of the shading on Pokemon. Maybe I could do fusions or something...
