i did this for the sprite fusion contest but didnt enter when i saw that my entry wasnt going to be the right thing. Please critique or complement my work.

A little copy and paste-ish, although you've got it to all go together well :) I quite like it though. Well done.

The wings are pointing in the wrong direction and don't actually look attached to the body. Otherwise it's okay - even if I'm a bit averse to the concept.

A little too copy/ paste try scratching bits and maybe make one of the wings smaller because the one on the left(are left) is too big.
