So I just got a detla crobat recently and I've been trying to make a deck around him. The strategy for the deck is to get out Claydol and use his wide laser attack to get some damage on all of the opponents pokemon so crobat's target attack could do 60 rather than 40 to any pokemon I want. Celebi EX is mainly just used to recover drawing power I've used already or to get back crobat if defeated later in the game. And since I only have one crobat at the moment I put in some buffer pieces to try to prevent him from dying.

*btw, are any of the POP series cards in modified?

POP series 2 and up are still in modified. POP 1 is not.
About the deck, you should try to get more crobat, the rest looks ok though.

Lose the Celebi altogether and the psychic energy. Try to put in some Double Rainbow energy or some Scramble energy. I used to play a deck like this and it is a good deck.

Hmm well I have managed to get another crobat so the deck has been working a bit better just from that. And I've been in the process of trying to get scramble energies, but once I do that and get some double rainbows I'll try out your ideas.

I appreciate all the help. I ordered around 40 booster packs of DS and DX recently so that should help me get some of the cards you guys mentioned :]
