no there is no law it is just kinda advised that u keep your starter, and so what yonowaaru can use destiny bond thats no big deal, and stat raising is a waste of time, and high powered attacks are better

Not on the Choice Band set.
Rentoraa @Leftovers
Jolly Nature
-Spark
-Ice Fang

Rentoraa needs Fire Fang for Steels, especially Jibacoil.

Hmm ofr Steelix, I don't think Explosion is the best idea. I think Earthquake is better

That's a terrible Steelix moveset. Steelix is a physical wall, it's not meant to attack.

Wow, such a liar. Steelix max Attack is 295, it can never get over 300 Attack.

Eh, my game is glitched. It's so messed up, it's not even funny. It was washed in the washer and dryer on accident, and I guess it rearranged the circuits of my cartridge or something.

dude you r so bias to supportive moves and against all out attack, u my view it as a horrible move set but to me the move set that you posted is about the dumbest thing that i have ever seen, the old move set was perfect.
all out attack is awesome, but so is supportive, i just go for all out attack

You n00bs can't be serious... a physical sweeper's moveset on a Physical tank.
steelix as tank please

You're kidding, right? Steelix has very good max stats in offensive areas. Now I'll give you that it has better Defense, but Steelix is sort of a mix between a tank and a sweeper if you actually take some time to think about it.

lol, steelix, a mix between a tank and a sweeper.. good one. I liked that joke. a pokemon with an 85 attack base stat a sweeper, when it has 200 base defense, a sweeper? i like your thinking, but no. in no way can a steelix be good with your moveset. I'd like to thank you though for that laught though, now i'll live longer.

5th December 2006, 11:29 PM
Yeah, well Steelix has 295 max attack, and while it's no Ramuprudo, it's still decent.

Yes, Steelix is decent. At taking physical hits x_x

Tell me, have you ever actually HAD a level 100 Steelix?
randomn00b
5th December 2006, 11:37 PM
Haven't taken the time to raise one, but I know what it can do. In no way is it a Physical Sweeper. It's a Physical Tank that is capable of fighting back, that's all.

Steelix's main purpose on a team is to take physical hits, phaze, and wall electrics at the same time. It's attack isn't very astounding, although it's surprisingly higher than Dugtrio. Having a defense drop for attack can hurt Steelix as he's a physical wall, while trying to dish out more damage is utterly useless, as bulky waters would own you off the bat anyway. I suppose, however, with Dosaidon on this team, it is possible to make Steelix a CBer of some sort, for a surprise.
EDIT: Yes, I have a Lv.100 Steelix
