Are There Any Pokemon I Should Replace With Better Ones Or Ones Of A Different Type??? I Have LG/EM/SA...
If You Do Suggest Another One Please Provide A Moveset.
Can My Team Beat Other Experienced Players???

aragornbird
7th December 2006, 5:04 AM
Lets just say that most of your team dies to Swampert, and you also have a major Aerodactyl weak. What do we use to counter Swamperts and Aerodactyls? That's right, a Bulky Water!

So replace Muk with a Milotic, Suicune, or Vaporeon.

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN
7th December 2006, 5:11 AM
Muk Has Been Repleced

Vaporeon
Acid Armor
Surf/Hydro Pump
Ice Beam
????

I Am Not Familiar With Vaporeon...(Help)

I Don't Have Charizard... Is There Another Way To Breed???

or

Suicune
Have Suicune But Don't Know Anything To Teach It...(Help)

I Can't Find Feebas (Rare)

(Dahhhh... They Could Have PWND Me...)

aragornbird

Vaporeon
Wish (breed with Togetic)
Surf
Ice Beam
Toxic

or

Suicune
Surf
Ice Beam
Rest
Calm Mind

I prefer Suicune for this team, since it lasts longer and doesn't require breeding.

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN

What EVs Should I Raise Suicune In???

aragornbird
7th December 2006, 5:52 AM
240 HP / 212 Def / 56 SAtk

I would go with Milotic over Suicune, but whichever. I think Steelix wants Explosion.

Oops... I'll probably have Suicune on my Legendary Team... I forgot it was a Legendary Dog...

I will go with your Vaporeon set, but I have a question... Those two Pokemon deal damage usually with physical moves... the have crappy Sp.Atk... why did you take out Acid Armor though.
(Raises Def. 2 Stages)

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN

I always thought having a Steelix EXPLODE Would be cool, I will teach it Explosion... I got another Metal Coat at the top of Trainer Hill... Steelix used Explosion...BOOM!

Huh?

Where did you get the idea that Suicune and Vaporeon have crappy Special attack stats?

http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-rs/245.shtml#stats
http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-rs/134.shtml#stats

And there's no point in using Acid Armor on Vaporeon unless you're using a Baton Pass team (which you don't have). Without Toxic, Vaporeon can't do anything to enemy Waters. Without Wish, Vaporeon can't tank. Acid Armor has no place on the standard set.

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN

No, no, I ment Swampert and Aerodactyl don't have ~GREAT~ Sp Atk. They usually deal damage with physical moves... like Earthquake and Rock Slide, Wing Attack, Hyper Beam.

I use mostly special attack moves on all my Eevee evolutions except Umbreon and Flareon.

That's partially wrong. Swampert almost always has Ice Beam or Surf/Hydro Pump and its Sp. Attack is good enough to KO what's important.

I use mostly special attack moves on all my Eevee evolutions except Umbreon and Flareon.
Well duh, giving physical attacks to Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Espeon is just stupid.

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN

I have a Swampert and it can't learn Hydro Pump... Is there a way to make it learn Hydro Pump??? Yes, your right Swampert does have good Sp Atk.

Would it be good to use a Swampert...

Swampert@Leftovers

-Ice Beam/Toxic/Focus Punch

What should I use???

Why would you use attacking moves on an Umbreon? Even better, why do you even USE attacking moves on Umbreon? It is meant for tankish-ing or Wishpassing.

edit:
Swampert@Leftovers/Chesto/Lum berry
Nature: Relaxed
Trait: Torrent

I think that's it.

Maybe
Swampert@Leftovers
Surf

Or

Swampert@Chesto Berry
Rest
Earthuquake
Curse
Mirror Coat/Counter

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN

I never said I would give ATTACKING moves to Umbreon... if I did show me where.

I would teach Umbreon:Leftovers

Toxic

Baton Pass

^^Whahahaa beat you to it!
@Swampert
Any good grass type that isn't part poison or ground owns that first set =/
For the first one Rest is good over Counter/Mirror Coat.

@Umbreon Use Wish over Rest.

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN

Swampert:Leftovers

Are there any other Pokemon that should or need to be replaced???

The Mighty Wurmple
8th December 2006, 8:11 AM
You can use Rest over Mirror Coat, and if you do, then make it hold a Chest or Lum berry. The rest of your team (Actual Pokemon wise, not move set-wise) looks fine.

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN
8th December 2006, 8:18 AM
The only way to get berries in LeafGreen is to use trick or thief on a wild Pokemon or find them on the ground... you can't plant them either...

The Mighty Wurmple
8th December 2006, 8:22 AM
You can get Chesto Berries of the ground though. You won't be able to get Lum, so just stick with Chesto.

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN
8th December 2006, 8:57 AM
But once you get them they're gone right?

aragornbird
8th December 2006, 2:59 PM
Yes, but they won't disappear permenantly if you use them in the Frontier.

Too late, mini, I already fixed it on the first page. And why would he want two Dragon Dancers on the same team? That seriously limits his versatility.

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN
8th December 2006, 10:19 PM
On an earlier post I was wondering how to breed my Tyranitar to learn DD without using Charmander, Charmeleon, or Charizard... because I really want DD on my Tyranitar because it is sort of slow and I don't have a Charmander, Charmeleon, or Charizard... If I do get DD should I replace T-Tar's Crunch with Shadow Ball???

The Mighty Wurmple
9th December 2006, 2:14 AM
It can't even learn Shadow Ball. If it is really THAT slow, you could try Thunder Wave, dunno how good it will work though.

Don't teach thunderbolt or ice beam to dragonite because it's sp. atk is bad
out of thunderbolt and ice beam on tyranitar because people will most likeky use a water type on it
Teach acid armour to muk to form a defensive sweeper
Iron Tail on Steelix

The Mighty Wurmple
9th December 2006, 9:07 AM
Never EVER use Hyper Beam on ANY Pokemon.. Also don't use Iron Tail on Dragonite. And don't use Acid Armour on this Muk because it already has Curse which raises Defense.

What? Dragonite has great Special Attack. 100 is really good. Besides, the moves you gave it are awful. Iron Tail? Hyper Beam?!? Just no.

Learn standard sets before making suggestions please.

POKEMON KING LEAFGREEN
9th December 2006, 9:38 PM
Um... that's not a good idea if I run into a metagross or skarmory... or any steel type... I would replace acid armor with fire blast. And I already have curse...

Dunno about the Steelix's Iron Tail..

lime_green_hero
10th December 2006, 4:41 AM
No Iron tail on Steelix. It just wastes a slot, and it does nothing that EQ plus double edge or rock slide can't.

Frost Nova
10th December 2006, 7:53 AM
Iron Tail is okay on Steelix since he actually gets STAB on it and can afford to miss. Though of course Rock Slide's got the better accuracy.

Draggy wants the subpunching moveset if you're BoltBeaming.

Dragonite@lefties
Quiet Nature
- T-Bolt
- Ice Beam
- Sub
- Focus Punch

Flamethrower + Dragon Claw can go over BoltBeam if you want STAB and neutral coverage for all types.

Ice Beam / Taunt / Substitute / T-Wave over T-Tar's Crunch please.

Ice Punch isn't need on Zam since he can counter what Ice Punch does with just Psychic and Fire Punch. If you really want another elemental punch go with T-Punch, otherwise go with Recover. Do not leave this guy in against a physical sweeper please.

Swampert's WAY too slow to Endeavor properly. More Rest please.

Toxic and Rest are musts for Steelix. Double Edge is fine, but Rock Slide can help dent flyers.

Should I replace Dragonite with Salamence???

Salamence
Earthquake
Brick Break
Rock Slide/Crunch/Fire Blast/Physical Move
Dragon Dance/Hydro Pump
