yazzel

i have only one from modest what's the best move for him:subsitute or reflect
(i think reflect)

aragornbird
9th December 2006, 7:45 PM
It's up to you. Substitute lets you block status while you Calm Mind. Reflect lets you survive Earthquakes and is good for pseudo Passing.

yazzel
9th December 2006, 7:46 PM
then i take reflect for his defenses.

Pikawho?

WTF DUSCLOPS A HORRIBLE POKEMON!!!
you don't know what you are saying give me one reason why dusclops is a horrible pokemon.

Reno

i agree with one part, blissey is horrible. dusclops is one of my favourite pokemon though.

edit. blissey, due to the fact in can ahrdly attack, except wioth seismic toss and possibly ice beam. i just like dusclops because of its defenses, it makes for a great tank.

Oh look, here is someone who makes a statement and does not back up up with good reasons. Wow, Pikawho, that really says a lot about you.=\

Blissey can't do much. But it's still the best special wall and cleric in the game.
Dusclops is always reliable as a wall for both special and physical attacks, and can still fight back.

So please don't say things like "[Pokemon's name] sucks" without backing up your argument.

Why does everyone change the nature for the Suicune and Raikou? He can't change it!
I lolled at Pikawho's statement..
Also if you give Metagross Rock Slide then you can give it a Choice Band.

i can catch suicune again and hope that it is a good nature it took only one day and a half.
i change the nature from dusclops to carefull it's the best for a dusclops.
i can't have a new metagross with explosion so i hold the old one with the same moves maxed out in defense and attaks.

Reno
10th December 2006, 4:22 PM
bold is the best nature for dusclops. IMO

yazzel
10th December 2006, 4:34 PM
that's not true.
i shall explain:careful raises the special defense of dusclops and bold defense but when i use will-o-wisp the opponents attack is halved.so the psychical attacks are weak to my dusclops.

Reno
10th December 2006, 4:53 PM
true, but with bold you may survive a STAB shadow ball, or earthquake, as you may not get will-o-wisp in first

aragornbird
10th December 2006, 5:01 PM
Bold decrease Attack. Dusclops NEEDS its Attack so it can KO Gengars and Alakazams. Dusclops also survives unSTABed 2 Shadow Balls without a Defense boost.

yazzel
10th December 2006, 5:24 PM
then i choose careful.
i said it aldred

i have a question?
is counter good for my blissey?

sorry for double posting

Sirius
12th December 2006, 6:22 PM
It might be, many pokes use fightingmoves against it i think.

ludicolo_kid
12th December 2006, 6:41 PM
yes it is good on blissey. I personally prefer to stick with the set you already have though.

yazzel
13th December 2006, 3:09 PM
and what about the ev's for dusclops?

Belgian Pokemaster
16th December 2006, 9:59 PM
Mmmmmmmmmm......
Maybe you should give chansey counter.
example:
Metagross used earthquake!
(Blissey took 300 damage)
Blissey used counter!
Metagross fainted!

ludicolo_kid

assuming its the standard set: Shadow Ball/Seismic Toss/Will-o-Wisp/Pain Split
then always go max hp for sure. I think its 252 HP/24 Atk/136 Def/98 Sp Def with a Careful Nature is normal. However, ingame it may be different. Depends on IVS really.
