I am looking for all types of BF pokemons and I need all the help I can get, so if you have a good moveset for a pokemon please post it in this thread.

Right now am thinking of training a special sweeper Dragonite.

Modest for Lapras please. Lapras is not a bulky water when it has a Fighting and Rock weakness.

And you realize that putting these three Pokemon on one team gives you a major Starmie weakness, right?

You need Regice way more than Lapras.

You should have Starmie as one of your special sweepers, it has boltbeam, psychic (or recover) and surf. You only have normal, dark and electric as your "not-super-effective" enemies. That's good with only one pokemon which also have pretty good stats.

starmie rocks. it can hit i thuink all pokemon for at least neutral.

and woot i filled up all the threads with my name =)

Sirius

Yeah, neutral attacks on all, but it seriously needs a ground as backup. Even though a lot of electric pokemon has terrible sp.def (i think) they often have decent speed and special attack, so they can take out Starmie. I was on my 8th round of Pike when i met this other starmie which knew Shock Wave and had higher speed than me because of paralysis... It took my team out. So if you use Starmie, also use Salamence or Heracross (just my favourite EQ-ers) and then a tank on that. That's a pretty good team, which I am gonna use a lot.

are special and physical walls the same thing as tanks except good defense against physical and specialmoves.

20th December 2006, 7:11 PM
lol, you better leave those lists to the experts, Aldred. You still have a lot to learn.

Reno
20th December 2006, 7:15 PM
yeh lol. they are just some i thought of, i was tired.

Sirius
20th December 2006, 7:18 PM
Aragornbird, I'd still give Starmie Shell Bell over lefties, but that's just me. Since it can survive many hits and types, it can regain health with it's speed. At least if you have pretty good IV's and maxed speed out, you can use shell bell as good as lefties, don't you think?

spoff
21st December 2006, 12:08 PM
No, because shell bell works only if you hit the opponent, so if your against a double teamer or using none attacking moves its useless

Sirius
21st December 2006, 1:15 PM
Yes, of course, but how many DT'ers are there in the BF? And how many people does NOT have psychic instead of recover on Starmie? I think that it works better in-game.

ludicolo_kid
21st December 2006, 1:17 PM
Yes, of course, but how many DT'ers are there in the BF?

There's millions

Sirius
21st December 2006, 1:24 PM
In the BF? What, are you like, 5?
There isn't even a million different pokemon there!
Can you tell me 3 DIFFERENT DT'ers in the BF?

ludicolo_kid
21st December 2006, 1:29 PM
crobat, meganium, ludicolo, blissey, snorlax. Have you ever even battled there? It should be called the hax frontier. Despite that, i still agree that shell bell is preferable on starmie ingame, especially with the item clause,

Sirius
21st December 2006, 1:40 PM
I got 2 silver symbols, and i have never met those pokemon even once.

ludicolo_kid
21st December 2006, 1:45 PM
ever been in the battle factory/tower?

Sirius
21st December 2006, 1:47 PM
Factory sucks, but i've been there. They got lots of shitmovesets and such. Tower is pretty good, but i haven't seen any DT'ers there, strangely...

Kamikaze
21st December 2006, 1:48 PM
i have met crobat twice, once in pyramid and once in factory...

ludicolo_kid
21st December 2006, 1:49 PM
meh oh well. Maybe its just happens to me every other battle cos i'm unlucky. Not like this matters, we've established that shell bell is better anyway ingame with item clause.

Sirius
21st December 2006, 1:53 PM
Item Clause? What is that? Is it that two pokemon can't have the same item on?

And i told u so from the start. Shell bell on Starmie. Even though i think Brightpowder might work too. At least in Pike.

ludicolo_kid
21st December 2006, 1:54 PM
yeah. item clause is whats on every bf facility, otherwise you would stick 3 leftovers on everything. Shell bell is good because it means yo can put lefties on something more important like a tank. And i never disagreed about shell bell, just dtres.

Would abosol be a good BF pokemon because he has an high attack and special attack also he can learn almost every move.
