he cant get thunderpunch or rock slide or substitute. he has ruby, if he can trade use the subseeding sceptile, the rockslideing heracross and the armaldo. if not, then go with (some) of my sets. just remebered breeding, so he can get some of those moves on his pokes.

Spoff... Earthquake and brick break on Sceptile... WTF....

Arogornbird, Armaldo can learn Rock slide through egg move. So that would be a better replacement instead of Rock blast. Other than that, arognbirds set up is good and you should go with those.

God, SPELL MY NAME RIGHT!

Rock Blast is just as good as Rock Slide on Armaldo. Besides, with Armaldo's speed, Rock Slide won't be able to do any flinching.

rock blast breaks subs and does at least 50 base power. 125 base power at best is also fun. Rock Slide is an alternate option if you feel like being boring, it's a personal preference.

EDIT- lmao. That's a new mispelling of your name aragornbird, never seen that one before :P

Okay, don't have a fit. Earthquake is good on Sceptile because it covers its fire weakness so I agree with Spoff

Halleluha, You could always change earthquake to rock slide to counter, fire, flying and ice, but then it opens up its poison weakness.

no. Just plain no. Super effective doesn't necessarily mean something does the most damage. You ill do more damage on a fire type with a neutral thunderpunch/dragon claw or whatever than a super effective eq as his sp atk is so much higher than his atk.

erm, this is news to me.
I rarely post in the shitehole that is in-game rmt, so I don't have to look at really bad movesets that often.

I just really like that sceptile moveset.
