I clicked on one of my PM's and it said somthing like "(somones name) has requested read receipt". What does this mean?

That means that they want to know if you have read the pm or not.

How do you do that?

How do you do that?

Do what? Request a RR? I think it's towards the bottom of the screen when writing the PM, or maybe in the 'Go Advanced' bit, maybe.

Before you send the pm;l loom at the bottom of the screen, and you'll see the option.

Ok thanks :) Is it considered rude or anything to do it?

18th March 2007, 2:19 AM
no. People just do that incase its something important to be read. If its something important, then they would want to know if you read it.

Other people just do it so they know if you've seen the pm. Incase the person doesn't reply or something.

No, it's just good to see if someone has read it. Otherwise, you won't get mad if they don't reply because they probably haven't read it.

Okay, cut it out now. Question answered, so closing. Further questions, PM the one who answered your questions, but your question's been answered, so NO MORE SIDE CONVERSATIONS.
