Yeah, it needs a bit of help... I think I've made some wrong choices here and there and I need someone to help point them out. Constructive criticism and tips on movesets or new pokemon are welcome. :D

Gyarados Lv47
Hardy Nature
-Ice Beam

Raichu Lv47
Bold Nature
-Quick Attack
-Flash (no longer need... glad to get rid of)
-Thunder Wave

Pidgeot Lv47
Calm Nature
-Wing Attack
-Sand Attack
-Quick Attack

Kadabra Lv48
Adamant Nature
-Trick (needs something to counter dark types here methinks)

Venusaur Lv47
Careful Nature
-Razor Leaf
-Sleep Powder

Graveler Lv48
Bold Nature
-Self Destruct

Thanks for your help!

I see several of your pokemon have more than one move of the same type. That's usually a no-no.

Could you suggest any moves to use in place of those ones?

Could you suggest any moves to use in place of those ones?

Usually I do make suggestions after saying that. I forgot this time for some reason, so my apologies. And note I typically play Emerald so I hope I don't accidentally suggest anything that's not available in Leaf Green.

I'd suggest a FIGHT move for Gyrados. He was made for Fight moves.

Not sure with Raichu. I don't use him.

Pidgeot (I think) can have either a grass move or a ground move, or a dark move.

It's been a long time since I've played Leaf Green so I hope my suggestions aren't inaccurate. Man, I should start playing it again.

Those are the best natures for your Pokemon, you should rebreed to get them.

ESPECIALLY since Kadabra has an Adamant nature.

Ok, but that is my CURRENT team in the game before I battle the 8th Gym.

I don't want to breed them and retrain them - I could get different pokemon if I had all that time for training.

Kadabra @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
Trait: Syncronize
- Trick
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Punch

lol... just for fun... idk if it will work...

This is an appeal to all raters: If you're going to rate, at least post something more wholesome than a one-liner blabbing about "take *** because it has ***."

Anyway, if you have the time, breed for those natures. Like what everyone else said.

Looking at the Graveler and Kadabra rate, I don't think you can get Choice Band on Leaf Green. Leftovers then. And no Focus Punch. The AI attacks all the time, it'll just fail.
