Latios and Latias have genders, but what does that mean? you cant breed them because theyre legend and infatuation isnt the best thing that can happen to you, so why do they got them?

i just saw that my fresh caught latios had a gender so...

Just because one is Male and one is Female. No particular reason. Just two pokemon with genders, that cannot breed.

i know theyre bro & sis from dungeon and movie 5, but never seen they were in the game, i fight a record mixed latios each day...

Its because latios is male and latias female:D.Seriously I have no idea the creators just wanted to be something special.

To make them unique. Another 4 Gen has a gender.

Almost all Pkmn have genders. LOL Anyways, you mean heatran, right.
Latios:Offensive attacker
Latias:Defensive protective(not in the game though just base stats)

...because Latias is red and Latios is blue...

Anyway, I like it, the genderless pkm make them impersonal...

Yeah, but how come Latias(Red) is found in Saphire(Blue) and Vice Versa.

to buck the trend of groudon/kyogre. and they're both available on both games, but the ones that match the colors are only on Southern Island.
