Yeah I hate that too. Sometimes my Pokémon is as strong as the Pokémon of the Gym leader and when he is almost defeated he recover his Pokémon.

I think it's pretty annoying, especially when their Pokemon's health meter already red..

no you guys are the only ones. If you train your pokemon enough you can easily 2hko a gym leader's pokemon.

ocassionally, when this happens, I want to throw my DS out the third storey window, but then I'd have to walk up a flight of stairs, and I'm just to damn lazy.

But when we (the players) are on low health, that is what we do 90% of the time

i agree it gets annoying, but then after it gives you two free hits to kill it, or get it back where it was before it can attack so its good...

althought it has screwed me when im on my last weak pokemon and almost about to win, then they heal and i lose...

A smart thing you can do is instead of hurting the foe to a point where the AI recovers you can smack in 2 times without getting the AI to recover, they usually recover when below 25%.

then I'm not part of that I usually let my pokemon die when the foe switches in his next one! I'm a very cruel trainer!

I do find it annoying, so I always make sure I don't get their Pokemon into the red zone.

It doesn't happen to me anymore. Most foes simply get OHKOed.

Sometimes. Depends on the type of pokemon they're using. I can deal with some types better than others.

It really is annoying, but if I can use potions and things on my Pokemon, I think they should be able to as well. =P

i used my Blaziken on the last gym leader (water)
and still won without giving him a chance to use any potions....
and i never find it annoying because i usually KO them with 1-2 hits

Kyaku

It's a pain sometimes. Otherwise I don't mind it.

I usually then try to use a move that won't leave them in the red zone, but in the yellow zone, so I can KO them next round.

i never knowtised i would just use a weaker attack twice so he dosent use one its not hard or i use like gigadrain to recover then by the time it faints my pokemon is healed :D

No, a fair bit of thinking can easily avoid them to use the potions.

You should use a move like swords dance so that you can OHKO them.

I do. Especially when you're under-levelled and your win is a one time thing.

Roorii

Its actually VERY predictable.
They only use potions on red health, so make sure that its a straight yellow to dead.
