Remember the B-Button leauge episode? Where the two trainers had the so called strong Magikarp and Feebas? Well I think it is impossible for a magikarp and feebas's tackle to be that strong. Either if they were at level 100 in the game, a low level can knock it out easily if tackle is it's only move, except for Feebas that learns TMs. So do you think it's possible for them to beat any strong trainer? Like a gym leader or something, maybe feebas, but probaly not magikarp.

feebas, not likely, magikarp impossible

In game, it would be Feebas.
But remember, this was in the anime, and the writers want a positive moral for each episode. So the Magikarp could even be level one, and still manage to beat the gyms.

Why is this forum getting dum....aw, forget it.

GAMES =/= ANIME

No LEVELS in the anime.

end of story.

If a big, orange fish trains its whole life and tackles you, it SHOULD hurt, shouldnt it?

anime wise they could possibly beat a gym, possibly, game wise like i said earlier magikarp no, feebas not likely

Feebas could do it, since it learns TM's, but it's unlikely. Magikarp, no way. But this is anime, and they can twist it up all they want.

makes u wonder if they used special vitamin drinks like carbos, protein
on magikarp and feebas to make them so strong

As said before, the anime isn't the same as games.

Things aren't locked down in levels and stats, a pokemon with horrible stats could train it's entire life and become able to go toe-to-toe with a less experienced pokemon with excellent stats.

Moves are also not as weak as they are in the game. A tackle isn't just the crappy move that everyone makes a pokemon forget when they get something better, it's a pokemon ramming into another pokemon at full speed and strength. It will hurt.

acutally.... About the no levels in the anime... Remember school of Hard Knocks? They were quzzing the kid on what levles the Pokemon learn moves. It might not be anymore but they did have levels in the Anime.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the level references were the result of badly dubbed lines.

But if the Pokemon Anime DID have levels, then I can easily deduce that, based on the current developments of the series, the level cap FAR exceeds 100 (if there even IS a level cap).

Yeah, okay. Levels existed in the anime for only one episode. it doesn´t matter anymore.

AS everyone else said, the anime is not the games. It can do whatever it wants.

there seems to be no limit to how strong pokemon in the anime can get...ashs pikachus special attack is probably in the thousands in terms of the game
