This club has been approved.

This is a club for all people out there who are making fakemon. You can discuss fakemon, fake types, your fake regions, your fake gym leaders, and any other pokémon-related stuff you've come up with, and you can get help with names, base stats, et cetera. You can discuss fakemon already made (also those from people not in our club), which pokémon needs an evo, and so on.

Rules and Requirements - These are things you MUST do, no exceptions.

Follow SPPf's rules (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?p=4220622) and the rules specific to its Clubs section (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=375214) at all times, of course.
When you want to join, please at least imply that you want to join. You will be given only three chances to get this right. If you have made three posts in this club and none of them have even so much as implied that you want to join, then you will not be allowed to join. After all, if you didn't do what this post specifically asks you to do in order to join, then I have reason to doubt that you've read these rules.
In order to join, you must post at least one fakemon. Try to make it a good one and you're in easy enough. Give its type and a brief appearance description (or picture, or link to a thread containing images or descriptions of the fakemon) at minimum. Again, you get three chances to do this. If you have made three posts without including a fakemon with the necessary level of information about it, then you will not be allowed to try to join again for a month, after which you may try again (in case you simply hadn't come up with sufficient detail about the fakemon, this gives you some time to do so :)).
If a joining post you've made was missing necessary information and you were not accepted, please do not simply edit the needed information into the old post and then make a new post just to ask if the old post's all right now.
Treat other members with respect. If you think someone's fakemon is bad, do not flame/make fun of him/her. Criticize the fakemon/move/et cetera, not the person who made it--for example, if you think someone's fakemon/move/et cetera idea is a bad idea and you say as much, that's one thing, but calling someone an "idiot" for having an idea that you think is bad is out of line. Criticism should be given and taken respectfully--it's not the end of the world if someone has an idea that you don't like or feel could be better; it's not the end of the world if someone criticizes your work; and it's not the end of the world if someone doesn't take your advice.
Do not harass other members for not commenting on your fakemon/fake move/fake region/etc. It's perfectly all right to politely express desire for feedback (adding something like "Comments are appreciated" in a post containing a fakemon or fake move or that sort of thing is one example of how that can be done), but don't make people feel like they have to comment on your ideas. Simply expressing disappointment about not receiving comments in a civil manner is fine; just please don't get on anyone's case about it, and don't expect that anyone will have something to say just because you've said you want them to say something.

The punishments for breaking the rules are as follows:

Break this club's rules and you'll receive a warning.
Receive three warnings and you'll be banned from the club for a month.
Receive five warnings and you'll be permanently banned from the club.
You'll also be permanently banned from the club if you post in the club while you're under a temporary ban from the club.

The exceptions are the penalties for breaking the rules that have to do with joining (again, the punishments for those offenses are listed alongside each of those rules), and breaking the rules of the Clubs section and/or SPPf in general. Break the Clubs rules and/or the general SPPf rules and your offending post will simply be reported.

All members were given a clean slate upon the revision of this club's punishment system on May 6th, 2009; any warnings I gave to any of you prior to that date will not count against you.

Banned List: No one yet. Let's try to keep it that way, shall we? :)

Guidelines and Suggestions - These are things you don't necessarily have to do, but we'd really like for you to consider doing nonetheless. ;)

After you have made your joining post, it's preferred that you not post in the thread again until you have been accepted into the club by the owner, the second-in-command, or one of the co-cowners. An exception would be if your joining post did not contain the necessary information and you thus had to make another joining post.
Visit and post at other people's fakemon threads, especially if it's new, as it might be hard to get started and receive posts.
If you're using a fake type, tell us about its attacking effectiveness, defensive effectiveness, etc. Odds are someone will want to know and ask anyway, so you might as well provide the info. :) If your fake type is a work-in-progress and you haven't figured out or decided how it matches up against other types, mention as much--you might even find members willing to help you determine how your fake type works.
Preferably make your fakemon/types/region/gyms/abilities/etc. detailed, because it is much more fun to read about them then. (As a matter of fact, you must include some detail at all if you wish to join.)
You might want to refrain from post anything that could be considered too "n00bish"--if you post something like (for example) an evolution for Arceus, a type that's super-effective against everything and has no weaknesses, or a OHKO move that always strikes first and never misses no matter what, don't be surprised when it gets serious criticism. ;)
When posting pics, it's preferable to post a link to the image rather than actually posting the image itself, especially if the pic is large, for the sake of mercy unto those who have slow connections.
Please try to at least use decent grammar. Perfect grammar is not required, but at the very least try not to use chatspeak--type "you" instead of "u", "people" instead of "ppl", etc. Things along the lines of "lol", "wtf", "imo", and "btw" are fine, though.
If you get a name change, please let me know. That way I won't inadvertently chew someone with an unfamiliar name out for not stating that they want to join when in reality they're already a member. XD; It's preferred that you don't post just to say that you've gotten a name change, though; if you don't have anything else to say besides that, PM me to let me know about your name change instead.

Now, the Members List:

Owner: Sike Saner

The owner can add new members and ban people, but otherwise we're all just equals.

Second In Command: Dilasc

Can do the same stuff as the owner, and if the owner is inactive for some time (whether it be for vacation or anything), he/she will take over the club until the owner is back.

Co-Owners:
^^Yoshinichi^^
Luxray_Masta_211
Ky-nim

Co-owners can pretty much do the same thing as the Owner. Do not ask to be a Co-owner, ever! You must prove yourself worthy of the position with qualities such as activity, prolificity, and helpfulness.

Hohum, hohum, hohum.

Knock knock?

Hmm, what do I bring today?

.........

I know! ADVICE!

New type combos are cool... but they need to make a semblance of sense. If you take a typical bird and give it flying type, WHY? If it's not very special, its shoved in the normal/flying typing. However, if its not very normal... Here's an example of my own.

Albatupe and its evolved form, Albatress are Albatross based. Actually, they were originally Albatrill and Albathrong or something but now they spot human hair growth on their heads in an assortment of colors befitting an anime world.

So you say: "Big deal, right? They're just plain birds?" Well... no. Both possess, or actually lack, something important: legs and feet. They cannot touch the ground and thus must always be flying or at the very least hover slightly above ground or ocean.

Another example is my genie line: Djineric, Gaijinn, and Genieus. They are all flying type. Why? Because they are windy genies and there's nothing ghostly, psychic, evil, fighterish, electrical, icy, watery, grassy natural, venomous, draconic, insectuous, fiery, normal, metallic, stony, or earthly about these WIND Genies. They are entities of the wind and air... and they can fly. I don't see another second type fitting well.

Type Order is of importance too, albiet a lesser one. It is to you to choose which is type one and which is type two. Ultimately, there is no combat difference. Rock/Ground and Ground/Rock accomplish the same thing equally. However, by a logic standpoint, it is where us creative nerds can find faults where none otherwise exist. As such, choose their orders with some consideration for why the order was picked.

Name Games are fun, but be wary. Gamefreak (or is it Nintendo of America?) adamantly keep Americanized names no longer than 10 letters and no greater than 4 sylables unless you're Feraligatr. Move names have no sylable limit, but twelve letters is the limit, and this includes blank spaces. As such, Think of Ice Punch as Ice_Punch, where _ counts as a letter but is actually a blank space. Henceforth, we have PoisonPowder and ThunderPunch because Thunder_Punch is too long. Squished words may be a must.

Evolving an existing creature likely requires a method or item not yet invented. Be creative here!

That's all for now. In order to make this post actually allow me entry, I post this.

Spowlted
Type: Flying/Electric = The electric part of Spowlted is minor static that has formed slight burn spots on its body. For the most part, its a birdie!
Evolution: Evolve Noctowl with an Empowered Thunder Stone.
Name Meaning: Spowlted is a Spotted Owl. That was a tough one.
Ability: Insomnia/Static
Appearance: Spowlted's feathers and fur is frizzy and on ends. Its 'spots' smell of black char marks. Its feathers are a brighter brown than before. Its most apparent growth is its eyes, which glow with yellow light. Otherwise, this creature isnt very electrical.
Stats: Stay tuned. These'll be out some day soon.
Breeding Group: Flying
Gender Ratio: 50/50

Copygoo: I need to see some more detailed information about at least one of those fakemon (such as its type and at least a brief description of its appearance). Once you provide that, you're in. ^^

Dilasc: You're in. And I agree about the importance of type order in dual-types; I've found myself having to stop and consider which should be the primary type for some of my fakemon, and have in some cases changed the order for the sake of appropriateness. Amphisbane, for example, was a Dark/Poison-type until very recently; it's now Poison/Dark. (For that matter, I'm strongly considering dropping its Dark typing altogether because I can no longer remember why I chose to give it that type, leading me to suspect that the reason I gave it that type must not have been a very good one. O.o; )

EDIT: mario_fan: I'll need to see some more information about one of your fakemon, too. Then you'll be in. ^^

Mario Fan: More detail about the type would be super helpful.

Here's a good way to set up types.

Attacking - This is when a Pokemon uses a move that is of this type and its effects on other pokemon based on their type. It's split into three categories:
2x: It's Super Effective and deals double damage.
.5x: It's not Very Effective and does halved damage
0x: Enemy is immune and doesn't even blink twice.

Defending - This is when the pokemon of that type takes the damage from types.
2x: That move hurt... alot!
.5x: It kinda tickled, it wasn't exactly harmless though.
0x: It'd take more damage from smelling the faintest flatulence lathed in pineapple juice.

Anything not in those categories would be 1x damage.

On the whole though, I never liked the idea of a 'Sound' Type. After all, several normal moves would be lost to the sound typing, but there are nonnormal moves too, like Bug Buzz (I think). Also, I don't know why Normal/*** type combos or even ***/normal type combos are considered taboo unless *** is flying. There are only two cases that encompass another type at all. A Shame as Ghost/Normal is a very nice type.

hmmm okay my first fakemon evolution chain was shaphire it was a splashing shark pokemon t loooked kinda mean like the face of a luxio it was blue it was a baby shark
i had a pattern on its fin to atract prey. water type

it then evolved into sharkaw (shark jaw) water/ dark type
its whole head has been fused with the coral now that it dwels near plants it is now purple, and incase of powerful prey it still uses the pattern on its tail

then it evolves into sharpoon (shark harpoon) water/dark type
it still has a coraly head it is longer it is now a tealish color it has no more pattern because it can now hunt any type of prey.

mario_fan: All right, you're in. Out of curiosity (and because I like detail in general), how do those Pokémon evolve? Do they evolve simply by leveling up(and if so, at what levels)? Or is an evolution stone, trade, or other special condition required?

Also, do you have size specs (height/length and weight) for them? Personally, I sometimes have difficulty in deciding how large and heavy my own Pokémon should be, especially how heavy. I want to try to make the weight believable for each of them, and I'm not always sure what the Pokémon would logically weigh.

Hi.

I was a part of the 1st club, I was part of the second, but I never posted, due to lack of time for Fakemon etc.

Now, i'd like to join the third one and I hope that I can be active here.

I've got 3 pics of my starters and their evolutions, but i'll post them another time.

Stumpee:
Type: Grass / Ghost
Dex No: #001 of the Gapane region

Weight: 7lbs
Evolution: Evolves into Stanches @ level 15
Name Meaning: Err, Stump, and 2 extra "e"s on the end.
Ability: Overgrow
Appearance: A small tree stump that has bright yellow eyes that have coal black slits for pupils. It has a scar running down the left side of its face, no-one knows how or why it is there, but they're born with it(will provide piccy soon).

HP: 62
Attk: 45
Def: 43
Sp.Attk: 62
Sp.Def: 55
Speed: 43

Although he may not look like it now, he'll end up as the spec.sweeper of my starters.

Elementman-Novapoke: You're in. And the option of getting a part-Ghost-type as a starter is one I rather like. ^^

uzumakikunai: You're also in. Mmm, Ghost/Steel-types... ^^

b3an0b0y: Post one of your fakemon and you're in. Make sure to include a nice amount of info about it, too. ^^

Sadly, he loses the ghost type upon evolving.

The silver lining is the fact that he gains a new move which hasn't got a name yet, but this is its infromation:
PP: 5
Acc: --
Text: Turns the user ghostly for 5 turns.
Ability: The user becomes part ghost.

Basically, Stumpees evos gain a new tyoe (dark) but also are able to keep all of their previous advantages.

Dilasc: The letter limits may not be my thing, but I guess it makes sense, and it offers an extra challenge when naming things.

And yeah, just sticking normal on doesn't make sense. My legendary serpant, Veedom, personies liberation and freedom. It is completely seperated itself from the earth, never landing, ever. So, it is pure flying.

When fainted or sleeping, it levitates, the wings are purely for show. Symbols, if you will, of it's freedom. When it dies, it body slowly disperses into dust, and is blown away with the wind, so it may eternally be free from the land.

Likewise, my Pokemon Leyegar, can be either Dark/Psychic or Psychic/Dark. The idea is Dark/Psychic have only has 3 eyes, and vent minimal amounts of the darkness that dwells in their body, so they exemplify the Dark type. Likewise their ability is based off the fact they only have three eyes, Unblinking Eye. On the opposite side of the scale, the Psychic/Dark Leyegars have one hundred and one eyes, to vent as much darkness as possible, so they exemplify the Psychic type, and their ability, All-Seeing, builds off the fact they possess 101 eyes, allowing them to see everything at once.

the differance also comes down to their movesets, with Dark/Psychics learning dark moves earlier and more frequently, and the reverse is true for Psychic/Darks. While Psychic/Dark gets Morning Sun, Dark/Psychic gets Moonlight and Full Moon, Psychic/Dark gets Sunny Day and Morning Sun.

It's a lot fo differances for a switch of type order, innit?

Also, for future referance, Sirean is now Flying/Water. It's not aquatic, it's just oceanic in nature, so it's more Flying than Water.

In the meantime, I'm trying to come up with new Pokemon ideas, so I'm just going to be reposting loads of old ones.

So to start, my favourite fakemon I mentioned earlier, Sirean.

Name: Sirean(Siren +Sea + Sirene/Queen, whatever you prefer.)
Element: Flying/Water
Type: Tempting Pokemon
Ability: Melodic Voice: All Sound based attacks receive a power and accuracy boost. (Power and accuracy x 1.5 for sound based attacks). They Also are unaffected by Soundproof.
Dex: A Pokemon with an amazing ability with sound. It is famously able to speak and understand the human language. It's melodic voice has the ability to draw in Pokemon. However, they use this ability to bring prey to them. A dangerous Pokemon, it has been known to take humans as prey. It's 'hair' is actually feathers.
Description: A medium sized Pokemon, it's upper body is human like, with blue 'hair', bright, light blue eyes, and two tufts atop it's head that resemble small wing. It's torso is also human, however it has wings in the place of arms. It's lower body is bird like, with bird's feet and a bird's tail in place a human lower half.

And my starters.
Name: Lile (Liana + Reptile)
Element: Grass
Type: Glider Pokemon
Ability: Overgrow
Dex: A small Pokemon, at first scientists couldn't tell if it was reptilian or avian. Close research on it revealed it to be draconic in nature. It's simple wings, made of firm blades of grass, aren't capable of suspending it in the air, however they do help it glide.
Evolution: Lile -> Ptereaf(Lv18) -> Terragon(Lv40)
(I know it evolves slowly, and there's good reason for it too)

Name: Ptereaf (Pterosaur + Leaf)
Element: Grass/Flying
Type: Leaf Wing Pokemon
Ability: Overgrow
Dex: This Pokemon was very mysterious, as it prefers to live deep in tropical rainforests, away from the eyes of humans. It's three vine-like tails are very prehensile, and serve in place of arms, for manipulating and holding objects. It's helmet is made of a material similar to bark.
Evolution: Lile -> Ptereaf(Lv18) -> Terragon(Lv40)

Name: Terragon (Terra + Dragon. Play on Taragon, a type of herb.)
Element: Grass/Dragon
Type: Rainforest Pokemon
Ability: Overgrow & Levitate
Dex: An incredibly mysterious Pokemon, it lives deep in rainforests. The leaves on it's body serve a similar purpose as the feathers on avian Pokemon, as well as being credited as a great antitoxin and for adding flavour to any sort of meat. Some say it may be descended from a Pokemon that served as the evolutionary link between avian and reptilian Pokemon. Others say it is that Pokemon, having survived into this day and age in the same way as Relicanth. It is very aggresive, but is only known to prey on humans in times when other prey is scarce.

Name: Purrn (Purr + Burn)
Element: Fire
Type: Kitten Pokemon
Ability: Blaze(Doy.)
Dex: A small Pokemon that is deceivingly cute. Perfectly capable of looking after itself, it uses it's looks in order to deceive humans into giving it food.
Evolves: Purrn -> Pantferno(Lv16) -> Demane (Lv 36)

Name: Pantferno (Panther + inferno)
Element: Fire/Dark
Type: Wildfire Pokemon
Ability: Blaze
Dex: An intelligent Pokemon possessed of cunning, and possible a sadistic streak. It will trap it's prey in a ring of black flames, while lurking in the flames, moving in them as if they were nothing, terrifying it's next meal, then striking, and ending it with a crushing bite to the neck. Hard to raise, but a valuable team mate if well trained.
Evolves: Purn -> Pantferno(Lv16) -> Demane(Lv36)

Name: Demane (Demon + Mane)
Element: Fire/Dark
Type: Hybrid Pokemon
Ability: Blaze & Pressure(Both at same time)
Dex: A bizarre Pokemon, it is supposedly an ancient beast whose species once terrified the land. It is still a threat to travellers without a strong team of Pokemon. However, if well trained, it is loyal without fault, and willing to save or destroy at it's masters command. Some say there is a second brain inside it's serpent like tail, however, this lacks proof.

Name: Pebbow (Pebble + Bow Wow)
Element: Water
Type: Seal Pup Pokemon
Ability: Torrent
Dex: A small seal pup, it has bones have a rock like structure, making it very solid. The extra fins on it's back serve to increase buoyancy and to cut through the water, reducing it's water resisitance.
Evolution: Pebbow -> Fosseal(Lv16) -> Lupinite(Lv36)

Name: Fosseal (Fossil + Seal)
Element: Water/Rock
Type: Old Seal Pokemon
Ability: Torrent
Dex: Evidently, Pebbow seems to almost 'devolve', becoming more primitive as it grows up, changing from a seal to a creature between a seal and a dog. It's rock armour would make you think it'd sink in water, but the rock is hollow, and serves as a primitive sort of floatation suit. A charge from a Fosseal however hurts no less despite this.
Evolution: Pebbow -> Fosseal(Lv16) -> Lupinite(Lv36)

Name: Lupinite (Lupin + Granite)
Element: Water/Rock
Type: Sea Wolf Pokemon
Ability: Torrent & Rock Head
Dex: A large dog, apparantly it is ancient species and one of the first mammalian Pokemon to return to the sea. Unlikev Fosseal, it's armour is solid rock, and it only swims thanks to it's immensly powerful leg and tail muscles, that force it through the water with great force. On land, it is equally strong, and despite it's size and cumbersome armour, it can move amazingly quickly.
Evolution: Pebbow -> Fosseal(Lv16) -> Lupinite(Lv36)

There 'ya go.

if you let me, i will join

forgive me if i don't post alot, because i have a slow vista connection

i belive i shared my fake pokemon on the 2nd fakamon club,
but here is another since it is qualified for the club

it is a rather powerful but strange
it is called
Wethstorm
type: water/electric
storm cloud pokemon
most commonly seen in lighting storms, this pokemon's powerful moves are strong enough to start tornadoes.

moves it can learn:

i think it is a very stange pokemon because of it's amazing move choice
in can know

blizzard
ice beam
hail
HAIL STORM(new move)
twister
thunder
thunder bolt
fly
whirlwind
razor wind
HURRICANE(new move)
VORTEX BLAST(new move)
rain dance
powder snow
sheer cold
surf
hydro pump
water spout
RAIN STORM
and i might add more
this is just a mix of moves
some of these may be egg moves, or tm learned moves or level up moves

it's pre evolved forms are both water/flying, so they are unaffected against ground type moves

since wethstorm knows levetate as it's ablillity, it can with stand ground types as well

it should be real powerful in battle

problem is, people may have problems choosing moves for it

one moore thing,
IF ANY ONE USES THIS INFO AND DOESN"T GIVE CREDIT TO ME, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED STEALING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am sure stealing won't happen though

well i know this isnt really fakemon but i thought of a new feature in futer games

pokemon dens/lairs/earth/caves

info u go in a pokemon lair say a ralts lair
when u go in u will be attacked by 4 lv20 ralts
then when u go deeper u will be attacked by3 lv 40 kirlia
then it would be a lv 60 gardevoir and 60 gallade (good for training)
and if they decide the parents will give the egg that they garded (wit some pretty good egg moves) this will be the opisite of a swarm (one per day)

Elementman-Novapoke: Hmm, Dark-type's cool, too. :) And about the move that turns the user part-Ghost; do any Pokémon outside the Stumpee line learn it?

Nylf: You're in. Nice set of starters, and Sirean, from its description, seems to have a very nice desgin. I'd like to try drawing it someday. ^^

Whale55: Hmm, that's a decent amount of info there, though of course I am interested in what Wethstorm looks like (I'll understand if such info's not available--I have a number of fakemon mysekf whose designs I've still not decided on. I need to get back to work on those... o.o; ). Anyway, you're in.

DEX: This Badger Pokemon thinks it is king, so it works out phisically and it's voice.
Klutz, Crowning (While holding a Golden Crown, Stats raise by 1)

Don't have time for moves right now.....

Golden Crown
This crown is like the amulet coin, but gives you more money. It is found on some wild Kinings.

Copygoo: You're in. It'd be interesting to know what Kining looks like (I get a general idea of it looking badgerlike, but that's all I'm sure of I'm afraid. ^^; ). And I'd wondered about the Golden Crown from the previous thread; now I know about it. Thanks for sharing the info. ^^

I bet nobody here remembers me...I was one of the least active members. :(

Oh well, let me pathetically attempt at becoming a member.
I guess I could post the starters for this join-up thing, but I'm bad at this stuff.

001
Vyviper
Tree Snake
Type:Grass
Ability:Overgrow
Height:'2,4" ft
Weight:13 lbs
Egg Group:Ground/Dragon
Right after birth,a Vyviper must look for a pinecone-like flower bud in order to be able to use it's grass attacks.
Appearance:Vyviper is quite simply a small fanged green snake. It has a red under belly, and yellow eyes. Yellow stripes around it's back and ofcourse,a small pinecone at the end of it's tail.

004
Amphire
Heat Skin
Type:Fire
Ability:Blaze
Height:'1,4" ft
Weight:8 lbs
Egg Group:Ground
Amphire are able to spout flame from the black spots all over it's body. They make good pets, but it will only take a bath if you put it in a hotspring.

Appearance:Amphire are red,and have black spots on their head, arms and knees. They have blue eyes and a yellow underbelly...they're not much of a hopping Pokemon for a frog.

007
Isine
Type:Water
Ability:Torrent
Height:1'8" ft
Weight:14 lbs
Egg Group:Water 1
Isine congregate in Arctic waters, but one must be taught by a trainer in order to harness ice attacks.
They use they're ice cold tails for preserving the fish and berries they collect for future months.

Appearance:Ironically enough,Isine's fur is polar white. It's the exact same siza as Chimchar, and has small short fangs for biting and gnawing. They have a diamond pattern on their belly, and cartoony eyes like chimchar, minus the markings.

So there you have it. Lame, huh?

@ digital flareon: Disasol? from disaster.....

anyways, new fakemon!

Gyrasuna (JAI-ra-soo-nah)
Steel/Dark
ability: Solid Steel; like solid rock, but with added effect against physical attacks (i.e fighting becomes 1.77 instead of 2.66 [as in solid rock] and something like fire punch becomes 1.11. Has less effect on special moves, so fire blast becomes 1.55.)
appearance: difficult to explain.... i'll draw a pic soon.
dex: Gyrasuna are extremely rare pokemon, only 10 are thought to exist in the wild. They can be deceptively fast by rolling instead of walking on their stubby legs. Their armor has been tempered by pressure underground and constant battling with rivals, and is very thick. Gyrasuna are as smart as humans, although they cannot speak or use telepathy. They can enter a state known as Hyper Mode, where they can either generate a force field or obliterate their opponents.
HP: 110
ATK: 110
DEF: 195
SPATK: 10 (lol i had to cut back somehwere..)
SPDEF: 210
SPD: 45

moves!
-rollout
-def.curl
-metal claw
10 double hit
20 dragon rush
30 cosmic power
40 hammer arm
50 giga impact
60 recover
70 iron head
80 memento
90 meteor mash
100 hyper mode*

* Hyper mode - DARK - PP=1 - can only be used when at 1/2 hp or less
a choice appears onscreen:
1. max out def + sp.def and make speed as low as possible.
2. Neon burst - steel - PP=1 - ACC=nevermiss - POW= 350 - PHYSICAL
basically designed as a double-KO move, Neon Burst looks like:
1st, the background goes black. then, Gyrasuna charges up a huge blue ball of energy, which then compacts itself. Lastly, bright blue shots (like mini aura sheres) are shot out of the ball at the opponent like a gatling gun. they all make little explosions as they hit. When the shots finish, only a small white ball is left. this disappears, and Gyrasuna faints (after opponent takes damage).

Ugh, I have had horrible luck in trying to get on these forums lately... D:

Copygoo: I would recommend that you post that legendary here in this thread. That could provide another opportunity for people to rate it.

Digital Flareon: You're officially in. Nice, creative evo method for the Absol pre-evo; the Mood System is a pretty neat idea. I especially like that it affects battle and contest performance; that makes sense.

uzumakkunai: Gyrasuna's got a cool name, what's the origin of that name?

I'll repost something whilst here, a legendary from the Mordial region (which is screaming at me to leave the Veram region and its Pokémon alone and get back to developing it XD):

Revenight (revenant + night/knight)
Type: Ghost/Psychic
Revenant Pokémon
Height: 3'0''
Weight: 54.3 lbs.
Evolution: None
Ability: Resurgence (Recovers Ľ of max HP in the event that Revenight is reduced to exactly 1 HP.)
Appearance: A light grey being whose body ends just past the ribcage and is apparently hollow. He's quite ornate, decorated with gold spikes, black spots, and red stripes. He has broad, almost finlike horns sweeping back from the sides of his face, and six very long, golden spines fan out from his back; the first two pairs are raked upwards, while the lowermost pair points downward. His red-rimmed eyes are pale green, and he has no mouth. He appears to wear a deep red cloak, as well as black bands around his long arms and neck. On his chest, a symbol is emblazoned, somewhat resembling a narrow inverted trident. Shiny form is sort of a greenish-gold shade; the long back-spines and other golden accents are silver and the red markings are blue.

Revenight is a gendered legendary, and is exclusively male.

Today I think I'll post an evolution of a pre-existing Pokemon. It isn't that unique, but it's pretty cool looking.

I give you,a Kecleon evolution.

Type:Normal/Dragon

Appearance:http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a345/photomasta12/Keking-1.png
Pokedex data:This Pokemon is often referred to as the "Ultimate Spy". Being quick, slim and able to turn invisible ears this Pokemon that mighty title, making it practically the mascot of the SSSA.(Superb Sluething Spy Association)

With Nasty Plot as an egg move, this guy can be as succsesful a Special Sweeper as he can be a Physical Sweeper...Cammenage being bigger and stornger, now can get beasties like Earthquake,Surf and a strong 80 base damage licking attack.

Gyrasuna's name comes from:
GYroscopic, RAdiaton, tetSU (jap for metal) and NA (N/A, it has 2 immunities Not/Applicable, no damage in other words).
:3

and now Gyrasuna's enemy (dialga's palkia)

Shaseirce (SHatter, blASt, pEIRCE) [shaz-eerce]

Fire/Ghost

Ability: Power boost; raises atk and spatk on alternate turns like speed boost.

Dex: Shaseirce are extremely violent and powerful pokemon. They delight in causing pain, and will sneak around urban areas*, looking for targets to destroy. They hate Gyrasuna, as they are the only things that Shaseirce cannot kill in a fight, besides things like Groudon or Palkia etc.

HP 70
ATK 190
DEF 40
SPATK 200
SPDEF 60
SPD 120

moves:
-shadow sneak
-pursuit
-ember
10 swords dance

100 Nova cannon~

~ nova cannon - can choose (fire or ghost)- PP1 - ATK 400 - ACC 80
causes fainting.
draws a huge amount of heat and antimatter energy and fires it.

i belive i should stay active so i will post another fakamon

it is the grass starter

Name: Leezlef
type: grass/rock
the root-tree pokemon
leezlef is a darngerous pokemon in the wild
it attacks foes rapidly with it's roots
it's roots are as hard as rock and they are edible

this makes it have a new ability
if it is a boy,
it will know overgrow

if it is a girl,
i has 50% chance of overgrow
40% chance of sturdy
and
drum roll
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
10% chance of a new ability called
fruit shed!!!!?!!!
what is that you ask?

it is an abillity that allows the user to shed fruit from it's body
there are only 2 pokemon so far that can us this ability
tropius
leezlef
sheding fruit makes it hold the fruit as a held item, so if it has a held item, there is no chance that it will shed fruit

the two items you can get depend on if the pokemon is tropius or leezlef
tropius: bannana
leezlef: steel root

bannana: maxes attack and speed stats,
but the user sometimes attacks the wrong foe, or loafs around, or uses a different attack(monkey buisness if you ask me)

steel root: rock and steel type moves do more damage, but if the user is not a steel type,
it will become confused.

i will add movesets later :)

Yoshinchi: What happens when Cameenage gets attacked? I'm guessing it's ability is unchanged. As such, its type likely changes too, does it not? Without trying to sound crude, Color Change wastes an awesome type combo.

Anyway, here's an interesting one.

Tadpeol= Tadpole peon. Ending in Eon confuses the Eeveelution fanatics who sacrifice Leaf Stones because they don't evolve sickeningly cute foxen creatures.
Type: Normal/Ground = In spite of being a baby frog, it is DIRTY and doesn't 'use' water. It can swim as its abilities and moves suggest, but it doesn't master water. Because it's a serf, it's normal. All serfs are normal.
Ability: Swift Swim/Dry Skin
Appearance: Tadpeol's body is that of a tadpole. It is limbless, its body a wiggling fishy body, and its head is downtrodden and ragged. Its body is dirty for some reason in spite of swimming often. It also has a scruff of... brown hair? Yea, I don't get it either!
Stats: 40HP/50 Atk/30 Def/65 Spd/45 SpAtk/25 SpDef Total: 255
As you can see, peasants need to be in droves to revolt and overthrow the king to be strong. Or... they need to BECOME king. Let's evolve, shall we?
Evolution: Frongce when giving male Tadpeol a King's Rock, or Frogarette when giving King's Rock to female.
As you can see, the evolution needs no trade! Just give them the rock and poof! Youi should do it ASAP. You won't get much beyond Splash, Muddy Water, and Mud Shot. Earthquake might just take too long to level it up.
Gender Ratio: 50/50
Breeding Groups: Cannot Breed
When Tadpeol evolves either way: Water1/Humanshape
I don't have time to go further. However, more info will follow in time.

#030 LEIGON
Plague Pokemon
Type: Bug/Dark
Height: Individuals: four inches, Whole Pokemon: Minimum of five feet
Weight: Individuals: three ounces, Whole Pokemon: depends...
Flavor Text: These Pokemon randomly swarm in the thousands. They engulf cities, eat crops, and have been known to suck bioenergy out of humans and pokemon alike. It is said that they swarm the most where terrible crimes have been committed. When they are not swarming, smaller groups of ten individuals have been seen floating around. The individuals are always looking in different directions, but if all of them lay their eyes on an object, person or pokemon, then they are about to engulf what they are looking at. All the individuals in the world are linked somehow, as if they all share the same thoughts.

??? JESTETTE
Image: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/58666026/
Type: Ghost/Sound
Height: 4'10"
Weight: 34 lbs
Flavor Text: Said to be the spirit of a dead court jester reincarnated as a Pokemon. It attracts curious prey by twitching the bell-like parts on its head, making a soft jingling sound. It will then stun the prey with either its claws or its stunningly loud voice. If you hear maniac laughing in the night, it is probably a Jestette's freakish cry.
Evolution: Shuppet -> Banette -> Jestette
Evolve Banette by attaching Spirit World Bell and trading

Abilities

Rush Hour
Description: Doubles the Pokemon's Speed
How it Works: It is basically a Speed Version of Pure Power/Huge Power
To avoid this ability from getting too annoying, it is given to older Pokemon who were shafted by players before for being too slow, Flareon gets it, as well as Gyarados and Seaking, but it is rare. My car-based Pokemon, Karkid and Engirush get it too.

Name: Drainage
Description: Draining moves deal more damage
How it Works: More damage is dealt and HP recovered by leeching moves such as Absorb, Drain Punch, Giga Drain, Leech Life, Leech Seed, Vampire Fang, Leech Line, Mega Drain, and Parasite Latch. My vampire bat pokemon line, Screeling, Fanguish, and Vampelord get this ability.

Name: Fire Spell, Water Spell, Grass Spell
Description: Loses weaknesses when suffering
How it works: When the pokemon receives a status effect such as poison or paralysis, the pokemon also won't receive super effective hits anymore. These are starter-only abilities like Blaze/Overgrow/Torrent, and they are rarely found.

Name: Soul Absorb
Description: Ghost moves recover HP
How it works: Gives Ghost-type immunity, and absorbs offensive ghost attacks, recovering the defending pokemon's HP, as an added bonus, a pokemon with this ability will regain Leftovers-equivalent HP when it KOs an opponent. Zoruno, Vulpix and Ninetales gain this as well as they become Fire/Ghost types in my game, My sponge Pokemon, Soakeep gets this as well as Volt Absorb, and Frosslass get it too.

Name: Moon Curse
Description: Activates at Night
How it works: Works when Starry Night weather is activated by a Pokemon ar when it really is night, basically, it boosts all stats but in exchange, confuses the pokemon who has the ability. The confusion lasts until Starry Night's effects end. My werewolf pokemon line, Lycub, Lycain, and Lytarth get this ability.

Name: Desperate Hitter
Description: Strikes before stricken
How it works: A pokemon with this ability will always attack first if it is about to be attacked with a move that is super-effective to its type. Even if the opponent is attacking with a Quick Attack move, and even if the attacker is faster in stats. Slow Pokemon with lots of weaknesses get this, Like Mareep's line, and more. It gives them a chance to hurt before fainting.

Copygoo: I've always liked the idea of a Light/Dark-type... :) And I'm curious about Darabite's name.

Digital Flareon: JESTETTE! :D I really like that Pokémon, seeing as how it's a Banette evo (and with a nice design, to boot ^^). I've also always liked the concept of Leigon (as well as that name). Lots of great items, moves, types, abilities... just a lot of good stuff in general there. ^^

leaderfraser: Yeah, I remember those, especially Eala. You said their appearance has changed? I'd sure like to know how. :) Anyway, you're in.

Its really only Hotare that's changed a lot, but I have got better at drawing since then so the others look a bit different too! I've got pictures but I'm having a bit of trouble with uploading at the moment, I'll post them once it works right. :)

Wow! I was going to post loads of fakes but everyone else's are too interesting!

Mood System
Pokemon will feel different Moods during their time with you. Emotions affect battle/contest/race performance, trigger evolution in some pokemon, and influences breeding. Mood is influenced by Nature, Characteristic, the amount of wins/losses you have had, what it eats, what item it is holding, what it's accessory is, as well as different events that occur while it is walking with you in the overworld.

Sicapum: Pumpkin Pokemon

Each of its limbs floats around it, able to float several feet from the head. The eerie, unnatural flames that surround it can become either scorchingly hot or numbingly cold.

Well I'm back in. You already know about my DInosaur POkemon with all the types and such, but i started to think of non dinosaur pokemon, but I can't draw them well. I have some evolution ideas, and one Pokemon that is a fossil, which I will post now

Tyranorok
Rock/Dark
Tyrant
13'5
470lbs
Revive from Crown fossil

This Pokemon was a fierce predator 300 million years ago. It's spikes on its head forms a crown, nicknaming it "The Fierce Tyrant"

Its mouth is very large. It has 100 sharp teeth that can tear 300 pounds of meat in one strike.

I have been thinking of drawing non dinosaur POkemon, but it might not be good, more of a cartoon.

I have an idea.... how about we fight each other with our fakemon and have a battle!

By battle, what exactly do you mean? As in, how would we actually go about battling with our fakemon?

Pamizard: Yes, you're back in. And eh, there's nothing wrong with things being cartoonish, in my opinion at least. ^^

uzumakikunai: Hmm, what would Randomatix look like? I'm wondering if its appearance would be randomized, so that no two individuals look alike... Sweet typing on that, too. Ghost/Normal = yum. ^^

Elementman-Novapoke: Well, Splodent's got a decent name, first of all. Second, that description of it does give me a pretty good idea of what it looks like, which I appreciate. Third, even if you think you kind of suck at coming up with base stats, at least you do come up with them--I've alwys been pretty much clueless when it comes to that aspect of things. ^^; I need to get with someone about that...

Speaking of getting with someone about something fakemon-related, I could use some help in deciding the type of one of my more recent fakemon ideas. It's a Pokémon based on... cheese. Yes, cheese. Which I guarantee someone out there has already done, but I still want to make one, dangit. XD So yeah, I was wondering what type would be most appropriate for the little cheese creature, which I'm presently calling Edibrie.

Randomatix has a white face (looks kinda like scythers, but with bigger "horns" and random blotches of color.)
the rest of his body is randomly contorted. It looks kinda like a humanoid, but twisted and swirling and white, with random colors. It's shiny colors are that of missingno. It's physical appearance is built-in to your game, so if you restart, it will look the same (unless shiny). also, it's shiny rate is 1/2084, meaning less SRs :P

Alright, today I think I'll tell you all about the most common bird Pokemon in Kita,Krouse.

Yes,I only rember posting him in the first fakemon club. It's design has changed abit, but it has still retained it's typing.
015Krouse
Griff Chick Pokemon
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a345/photomasta12/Fakemon/kurusu.png
Height:1'00"
Weight:4.4 lbs
Type:Light/Flying
Pokedex data:They often congregate in the rafters of churches, eager to hear the melodic sound of a choir. Some say music boosts their energy.

Overview:Krouse is more than just your basic bird...it has a few defining traits of the mythical gryphon, noticeably the ears and tale. Don't worry,by the time it evolves twice it'll look like a real gryphon. Enjoy.

Light type stuff:Well, they're strong against water types, normal types and dark types, and are weak against dark types, poison types and other light types. They resist ghost and water type attacks. Don't ask why, there are still many mysteries surrounding these new light Pokemon.

@Sike Saner:A cheese Pokemon? XD I think the name's fine, but you may want to work hard on it's design,so it doesn't look like something off of Veggie Tales.

Also, Edibrie = Win.

Name: Dollfin
Type: Water
Dex No: #007 of the Gapane region
Height: 2'6"
Weight: 12lbs
Evolution: Evolves into Porpave @ level 18
Name Meaning: Doll(due to it's "cute" appearance) + Fin (due to it having 3 fins).
Ability: Torrent
Appearance: A small; aqua Dolphin that also has 2 jet black eyes. It has a big snout and a mouth. It has pink, rosy cheeks. It has 3 dorsol fins, but the third is smaller than the other 2. Dollfin has 2 pairs of flippers, the front pair are slightly bigger than the 2nd pair. Its entire body is extremely streamline, and it ends in a seal-like tail. Dollfin has gils and a blowhole.
Stats: Sorry, I kinda suck at this, but i'll do it anyways(they're the base stats):
HP: 55
Attk: 60
Def: 45
Sp.Attk: 60
Sp.Def: 45

Dollfin may not look it now, but it'll end up as a tank, it's speed will be equivalent to Torterra's, and it's attack + sp. attack will be above average and it's defences will be slightly worse than Empoleon's.

Continuing on the line of Spowlted, I figure I fill in some stats and a few holes.

Firstly, evolution comes from learning the move Thunderclap. The only way Noctowl can learn Thunderclap is by TM.
Stats: 105 HP/60 Atk/60 Def/106 SpAtk/121 SpDef/90 Spd Total: 542
Definitely a great improvement. Ice Weakness and Stealth Rock Weakness aside, it has an impressive Special sponging capacity, boosted by support moves in Hypnosis, Thunder Wave, and Willow Wisp for its poor physical defense. It can roost, and has a very usable Thunderbolt and Air Slash. Zapdos needs to use Hidden Power to get a good Flying special attack. It has access to Fireblast and Overheat (no Flamethrower) and it can Psyco Shift while being immune to sleep. This has a price to power, yes?

Well for one thing, you need to waste a Thunderclap TM. Here's the stats on Thunderclap.

Type: Electric (physical)
Power: 100
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
Effect: Makes a loud rumble usually iun the form of thundering noise. Sound Proof Pokemon are immune.

As you can see, Spowlted is special based, so you waste a TM, or you need to breed for it as Hoothoot can learn the move as well. It shouldn't be too major, but a Stealth Rock and Ice weakness hurt, as does a regular rock weakness. Use it carefully to wall special attacks. Roost can help unless you fight a Land Power or HP Ground Pokemon that's slower.

Now for something new.

Boogamein
Type: Dark/Fighting
Ability: Spook
Evolution: Evolve from Boogibit (A baby pokemon) by making unhappy.
Appearance: Boogamein is a Boogieman, which is a monster whose real legend is lost to being a stereotypical filler monster to any monster you need a quick name for. In this case, it is a hairy beast built of furry muscle with a pair of curled, demonic goat horns and clawed wolfish paws for hands. Clearly, this deescription tells you I have little time to write any more.
Stats: 80 HP/115 Atk/80 Def/51 SpAtk/85 SpDef/109 Spd Total: 520
Not a bad creature by any mean. A STAB combination of Dark and Fight are very good. Having two nice breeding Groups to mix (Monster/Humanshape) gives it great move variety, including Crunch and Close Combat, further boosted by Elemental Punches, Night Slash, Ambush, Cross Chop, Knock Off, and Recover. Its fairly fast to boot. It's certainly a good Pokemon to raise if you have the patience to do so.
Gender Ratio: 62.5% Male/37.5% Female
Breeding Group: Monster/Humanshape (Boogibit is a baby and thusly cannot breed)

I should have sketches and info of these guys up by tomorrow, if SPPF stops its freaking lagfest.

A Ghost-type line that counterparts the Ralts line. All are based on Onryou, vengeful spirits from Japanese legend. (If you've seen Ju-on/The Grudge, Ringu/The Ring and similar games/movies, then you'll know of what I speak.)

Copygoo: Hmm... thing is, I don't know how well the battles could work since not all of us have determined the kind of stats our fakemon have, or even the moves our fakemon know. Without that information, it seems like it'd be difficult to accurately determine which fakemon would truly prevail in a battle.

Does anyone else have any opinions on the matter of conducting fakemon battles?

^^Yoshinichi^^: Yes to the Krouse line. ^^ A griffin-based Pokémon line is one of those things that I think should come into being due to how incredible it seems to me that there isn't already an official griffin-based line.

A cheese Pokemon? XD I think the name's fine, but you may want to work hard on it's design,so it doesn't look like something off of Veggie Tales.

XD Oh, definitely. I've run into the same challenge in trying to design my line of pepper-based Pokémon.

Elementman-Novapoke:
I can help you with base stats if you like, PM me if you're interested.

Duly noted, I'll keep that in mind. :) Thanks.

Also, Edibrie = Win.

XD Thanks. :D

And dolphins = another type of line that I can't believe hasn't been made officially yet. I also like that Dollfin doesn't just look like an ordinary dolphin.

Luxray_Masta_211: You're in. And yay, ravens. ^^

uzumakikunai: That's an interesting idea, the one about Randomatix's nature effecting it's coloration. :)

Dilasc: In addition to being cool-looking, Boogamein has a typing that I love the frell out of. :D Very nice.

Whale55: I'm afraid I don't have any name suggestions for Artigle. ^^; Sorry about that.

Digital Flareon: I'm already looking forward to hearing (or rather, reading) more about those Ghost-types. ^^ I like their concept a lot.

Hmm..I think I'll pass on details about the other common Pokemon in Kita..it may not seem fantastic but it's pretty neat.

Rabuni
Hare Pokemon
Ability:Cute Charm/Pickup
Height:1'04"
Weight:14 lbs
Appearance:Rabuni is as you can guess, a rabbit Pokemon. Being a Pokemon though,it has many things that differentiate it from Buneary.

One such thing,is Rabuni's stiff, sticking up ears, and its pale grey fur. It has a ruff of fur around its neck, which eventually develops into a furry "cape" when it evolves into Feral.

It also has a cute, short curly tail, and small rabbit feet.(obviously)

Here's what makes it special:Rabuni's fur coat changes during each season...like real species of hare. During winter, its coat is white. During autumn, orange. Spring is its well known colour, grey. And summer is blonde.

Nobody exactly knows the mystery behind these Pokemon, but they are said to have come from the moon, like Clefairy.

Evolution:Rabuni@Level 18=Feral

@Dilasc:I like that idea for a Pokemon..I made something a bit similar,a Ground/Dark non-evolving ogre that grows but not evolves. But I like your idea better. :D

Well, I haven't drawn up the region yet, but I will soon put on the pic. Anyway here is some of the info:

The region is called Rablios, consisting of two giant island and many smaller ones. It is twice as big as Hoenn and is filled with all kinds of Pokémon. The climates of both islands are very different. The western one has a cold, snowy climate while the other one has a mild, temperate climate.

Anyway, here is today Fakémon:

Name: Rafflora
Image:http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o237/shinyzubat/Rafflora.jpg
Type: Poison/Grass
Ability: Stench
Level Up:
01 Absorb
01Poison Gas
09 Sweet Scent
14 Leech Seed
19 Mega Drain
24 Sludge
29 Barrier
34 Petal Dance
39 Sludge Bomb
44 Memento
49 Toxic
54 Aromatherapy
Location: Routes, 420, 421, 422, 423, Safari Zone
DATA: The awful stench made by Rafflora's petals deter most Pokémon away. An entire colony can produce the gas in the highest amount of quality that the entire sky above becomes a giant gas cloud. However, bug Pokémon find the smell very attractive.

New Pokemon. My basic rodent(finally) and another reason as to why people don't leave the house without a level 50+ Pokemon in Astra.

First, they had the basic bird called Pestral, who became Dragon/Flying Gyragon with it's worrying Moutain Guard effect.

Now, meet Ermini, Erminega and Ermainaga. Weasel snake trains. Oh yah.

Name: Ermini (Ermine + Mini)
Element: Normal
Type: Weasel Pokemon
Ability: Run Away/Quick Feet
Dex: This Pokemon is addept at chasing opponents. It uses it's long body to move through narrow passages, weave under and over obstacles and it is often credited for it's tenacity and determination in the pursuit of prey. Owing to it's later evolutions, some belive it may be related to Triumphon.
Evolution: Ermini ->(lv 20)-> Eminega ->(Level up atop Phoenix Podium while holding Mystic Herbs, post lv 40)-> Ermainaga

Name: Erminega (Ermine + Mega)
Element: Normal/Poison
Type: Serpent Weasel Pokemon
Ability: Tainted Fangs(All bite attacks gain a 30% chance of poisoning. This effect is added to attacks that already cause Poison(ie, Poison Fang becomes more likely, and causes Toxic effect)/Quick Feet
Dex: Upon evolution, this Pokemon's body's length is greatly exaggerated, resembling a great furry snake. It also gains use of potent venom, that ooze from it's fangs and claws. It can still run very fast using it's legs, but it is very amusing to see this. They are very proud creatures, so they prefer to slither, furtering their serpentine image.
Evolution: Ermini ->(lv 20)-> Eminega ->(Level up atop Phoenix Podium while holding Mystic Herbs, post lv 40)-> Ermainaga

Name: Ermainaga (Ermine + Train + Naga)
Element: Fire/Poison
Ability: Tainted Fangs/Burn it Up!(When hit by a Fire attack, Fire damage is nulled and Speed increases)
Dex: This Pokemon is a terrifying sight, an enormous serpent, covered head to foot in fur and black flames, oozing poison. It is an incredibly tenacious Pokemon, and it's still narrow form means it's ability to hunt has not suffered. however, it's legs can now rotate 180 degrees, and when they do so they usually egnite, making it resemble a demonic train. Some say this Pokemon is the cause of legends of ghost trains.
Evolution: Ermini ->(lv 20)-> Eminega ->(Level up atop Phoenix Podium while holding Mystic Herbs, post lv 40)-> Ermainaga

Here's a random topic:-

Where do you tend to get inspiration for your fakemon?
For myself, nature documentaries. Scailaur, Scailagon, Ermini, Erminega, Ermainaga and a large number of my others I got the idea by watching a documentary. Others are just random thoughts. In some cases, I come up with the element combination/theme(draconic, insect, hound, demon, humanoid etc.) and then work from there(Scaraten, Daraco, Ivulium, Wyverno, Sirean etc.)

For new evolutions for old Pokemon, I just tap into my inner fanboy. It's like the Hulk, 'cept, not as cool. "You won't like me when I'm shippy".

Why is Alien weak to Poison? Because if you've read War of the Worlds, well...
the alien invaders die because of Earth's bacteria. And I classify bacteria and viruses and infections as Poison typed.

Light is weak to Poison because even good people can become corrupted.

Also, Poison needs more types to kill.

For me, there really is no inspiration. I just think, and a few seconds later I come up with a basic concept. When I'm not lazing around or rushing about college campus, I might flesh the idea out.

Just such a case is happening right now!

Satalite
Type: Steel
Ability: Levitate/Download
Evolution: Saucyr with Sun Stone, Uneffoed with Thunder Stone, Nebuluft with Dusk Stone
Appearance: Satalite is a small creature that looks like a ufo. Its body is that of the cone shape, small half spheres on its underside. Its body is silvery, though its head is grey.
Stats: 55 HP/50 Atk/70 Def/75 SpAtk/60 SpDef/40 Spf Total: 350
Satalite is not combatworthy. However, its evolutions certainly are, as they retain these abilities. Their types are: Steel/Fire, Steel/Electric, and Steel/Ghost respectively. Levitate shines in all three cases as it removes a 4x weakness from the first two, and leaves the latter with only a fire weakness. Download may have use, but it might be a bit harder to find. They can rapid spin, and being immune to spikes and resistant to stealth Rock is very nice. The biggest problem is their genderless lack of breeding moves.
Gender Ratio: Neuter
Breeding Group: Ditto Only

As you can see, my purpose here is to set myself into a rut where I've put something out there and thusly am forcing myself to one day make good on that even if it takes a decade to complete the line fully.

Single Liners are easier to do.

Slinjer
Type: Fight/Rock
Ability: Sniper/Iron Fist
Evolution: Single Stage
Appearance: Slinjer appears almost humanoid. Its body appears almost drabbed in tattered rags befitting of ancient times and its arms appear to look like slings. Within these slings are stony fists that can be launched the way only a slinger can. In this way, it has access to many vital punching moves that all fighters need.
Stats: 84 HP/117 Atk/67 Def/39 SpAtk/90 SpDef/93 Spd Total: 490
As we can see, Slinjer's stats appear subpar. However, STAB Sniper Cross Chop and Stone Edge are going to 'stinj' off of that attack stat. Being Rock type, it can enjoy Sandstorm's Special defense boost, and being Fight type it resists Stealth Rock. Snipe will likely take you further with two STAB moves to abuse it with. Iron Fist is ok if you can predict switches for meaty Focus Punches and want to use Elemental Punches. Still, that's a waste of Stone Edge's devistating Potential.
Breeding Group: Mineral/Humanshape
Gender Ratio: 62.5% Male/37.5% Female

Hello, Malachite Treecko's new account here.

Well, I'd like to join :3

Okay, I have made maaany Fakemon, but I can never decide for something and let it be that way, especially when it comes to Gym Leader types. Therefore, there's no knowing when I have Fake types or not, or if there's a Ground-type specialist as a Gym Leader, or if there's more than one region. I use to write detailed information about my Fakemon; including Base Stats, Effort Points given, Breeding Groups, Japanese names, Level-up moves and so on.

^^Yoshinichi^^: A hare! Very cute.

Pamizard: I rather like those fish legendaries. And their typing makes sense, too.

Luxray_Masta_211: Stench is a very appropriate ability choice indeed for a rafflesia-based Pokémon. And about how large is Rafflora, anyway? I like the Ferthear line, too, especially Psidown.

mario_fan: The Rubma line's pretty cool. I knew you were working on some Fire Pokémon, but the possibility of them being Fire/Rock mineral creatures having to do with rubies never occurred to me. I'm not entirely sure I'm picturing Rubrol right, but I like the way it appears in my mind.

Also, Cucu's a cutie. ^^

uzumakikunai: When I think "bubble/foam/etc. Pokémon" I definitely think Water/Ghost (hence why the Orble line has that typing), so it was cool to see Fluirit (whose name I really like) having that typing. What's really awesome about that line is the way it goes from a bubble to this sort of marine-reptile shape and then to that awesome wahlelike creature--I love that.

Nylf: The Ermini line is a severely cool idea. o__o Ermainaga in particular is a very creative Pokémon with an awesome design to boot.

Dilasc: I am liking the frell out of Nebuluft. Steel/Ghost is a very nice typing.

GentleArtillery: I'm definitely glad to see you around here. ^^ Just post a fakemon and you're officially in; the name, type, and a description or picture of the fakemon will do just fine.

I'm also glad to see an active topic here! ^^

Where do you tend to get inspiration for your fakemon?

With most of them, the name comes first, and it tends to pop in my head out of nowhere--sometimes when I'm half-awake. XD Edibrie came to me when I had just barely awakened, and Durynde would not only have never evolved but would have remained a little durian with a face or something rather than a primate had I not had a dream where I referred to it evolving into "Duranutan". XD So yeah, from that point Durynde became a little primate with hide like a durian, and gained the evolutions Duresus and Duranutan.

For some of the other fakemon, the name came after the creature. These are generally cases in which I had te idea or made the decision to make a Pokémon based on some creature or concept (crane flies in the case of Calgane, peppers in the case of the Chileat line, microwaves in the case of Onglite, etc.).

Others of my fakemon, generally those who are evos for existing creatures, came from my theorymongering about what could happen if certain Pokémon evolved. This was the basis for the Kwazai, my gender-specific evos of a Pokémon who should never evolve, EVER. XD

And then there are the ones with more... peculiar origins. Like Cryonide. That happened as a result of randomly deciding (probably half-asleep in this instance, too XD) to mentally combine Snape--yes, Snape--with a Glalie. XD No, the result was not a Glalie wearing a black wig. XP In time, I developed the creature further in appearance and everything else, giving it a proper place and history in my version of the Pokémon universe. Today, Cryonide has everything to do with Pokémon and really nothing at all to do with Snape other than this little story about how I came up with it.

I just recently made some interesting new Bug types, and I'd thought I'd share them with you all. I quite like them, though the designs aren't set in stone.

Brincadia
name origin:brincadore(spanish name for jumping bean) +S. pavoniana(genus name for the bean itself)
Japanese name:Tobikonchuu
Husk Worm Pokemon
Type:Bug/Ground
Abilty:Vital Spirit
Height:1'02"
Weight:9 lbs
Description:Brincadia was quite simply based on,the mexican jumping bean. It lives in a brown bean husk until it is fully developed..luckily the husk provides limited protection with a sharp spike at the top. Brincadia has a nice sized hole in it's husk that fits it's whole head.

Many people find these Pokemon cute and innocent, but being a jumping bean pokemon, they're quite mischeivous.

Once it evolves,it discards the husk for younger Brincadia to crawl into.

Evolution:Sebastle @ Level 25.
Sebastle is simply a moth-like Pokemon, but it loves to eat up crops..they retain their Bug/Ground type,as they still use their feet but gain the Levitate ability.

@Dilasc:I want those UFO Pokemon now. Just Magnezone isn't good enough...yay for a mecha menace!

Lonie
Stalker Pokemon
Ghost
Height: 1'03"
Weight: 13 lbs
Flavor Text: Lonie is attracted to strong emotions. It follows troubled individuals tirelessly, for unknown reasons. It is said to haunt places where terrible crimes happened, drawn by the negative energies of the wronged dead. It is said that it wishes for revenge upon the perpetrators.
Ability: Insomnia/Marvel Scale

It has great stats in Attack, Defense, and SpDefense, above average in HP, average Speed and poor SpAttack. It's "hair" is actually fledgling tentacles. The long, bright tentacle's tip can turn into a claw to grab prey.

Should I change the color of the yellow part?

Fwee, repost time:

Parox (paroxysm)
Type: Electric
Surge Pokémon
Height: 1’4’’
Weight: 13.3 lbs.
Evolution: Parox => Neurotox (Lv. 25) => Axonox (Thunderstone)
Ability: Static
Appearance: A small creature resembling an imp or gremlin. Its body is yellow save for its upper arms, legs, tail, a “collar” around its neck, and a “mask” around its eyes; those parts are black. The eyes are a magenta shade. Parox has large, batlike ears, and two claws each on its hands and feet. Its long tail ends in two prongs. Shiny form is more orange than yellow and replaces the black parts with blue, with mint-green eyes.

Neurotox (neurotoxin)
Type: Electric/Poison
Shock Pokémon
Height: 3’10’’
Weight: 54.7 lbs.
Evolution: Parox => Neurotox (Lv. 25) => Axonox (Thunderstone)
Ability: Static
Appearance: Looks somewhat like a small, bipedal dinosaur (or perhaps kind of like a Hork-Bajir, sans all those blades). Its skin is purple over most of its body, while its arms, legs, and the end of its tail are yellow, and its belly is black. Like Parox, its hands and feet each have two claws, its eyes are magenta, and the end of its tail is double-pronged. It has two curved horns on its head and a spike on each shoulder. It also possesses what appear to be mandibles. Shiny form is a cerulean shade rather than purple, with the yellow parts being orange and the eyes being mint-green.

Axonox (axon + noxious/toxin)
Type: Electric/Poison

Hm, so a third club came around while i was gone....

Wut happened to the old one? And wut about malachite?

Anyways, ill rejoin, i have a good idea for a fakemon.

It's a three stage dragon pokemon, basically its my tyranitar/dragonite/garchomp/etc. Although its late were i am so im only gonna post the first stage for now.

Name: Azdrahok
Type:Poison/Dragon(a first)
Synthetic pokemon
Ability: Clear body/Fallout (decreases opponests stats every turn by 6, but loses 1/16th of own hp)
Height: 4'11''
Weight: 120 Lbs
Appearance: Not to complicated, it's a bipedal dragon, almost human shape. It has a 1'0'', it looks like its wearing baggy pants and inflated sleeves. Its feet are similar to the shape of palkia. Basically, it doesnt have true hands or feets, kinda stubby. It has a big spike coming from directly back of its head and two ear like protrusions from its head, tapering to wear its connected. Lastly, it doesnt have a visible mouth, instead with a rounded off maw.
Pokedex entry: It is a very rare pokemon. It does not exist in nature naturally, since they were created as lab specimens. They can be very dangerous because of there unstable nature. There body emits alpha radiation and, although not very harmful if hit by the decay, can be daangerous if the pokemon makes contact with any open wound or other opening of the body(dont get any ideas) and leaves behind any of its old flesh behind. Although they decay, they are able to live and even evolve by means unknown by scientists at this time.
Evs: 1 sp atk

Works best as a special sweeper(since theres only 6 good sp sweeper dragons and four are legendary and one is only good at it because it has the same phy atk anyways =/ )

Sike Saner: Rafflora's about 1.7 sq m, making it even larger than Vileplume. Which maeans Vileplume's data needs to change to 'Largest flower with a body'.

Cryfang: Singing Bat Pokemon
Sound-Flying
Ninduroll Breeded = This. That's the only way to get it. Evolve to jazzinja at lv. 30

Now we just need a split Jazzinja! Then we'll throw a party!

roflmao get ur own line :P

Ozzwing [ozzy osbourne + wing]

cryfang -> Ozzwing [lv up @ night on a sunday while holding black key (black sabbath, no?)]
moves: same as crywing, with
Devil Tune, POW 100, sound, user gains SPATK, ATK and SPD, but loses some HP (1/16)

What the ones i made look like:
Jazzinja: A smallish [about 3ft] black ninja-type humanoid, with a mike in one hand and a small guitar in the other. Can switch between the two. Has an amp coming out of his back.
Rokamurai: a generic samurai shape, with long hair and a strange face. (will try to get pic...)
it is yellowish, with gold armor [light typing...] and has a huge guitar. has an amp on its back, concealed by hair. also has lots of mini-speakers dotted around it's arms+legs. 7ft high.
Ozzwing: Traditional black, winged devil creature. has red teeth+ claws and grey eyes. Has a twisted, evil looking version of Rokamurai's guitar [see rebellion sword in DMC]. about 6'5", but is contantly floating so it looks taller.
ozzwing is stronger than Jazzinja, slightly weaker than Rokamurai and DOESN'T EVOLVE. :P

Chohking: Chain Reaction Pokemon
Type: Poison/Fire
Name Origin: [ alteration of the word "choking" ]

Koffing - Weezing- Choking (level up in Abandoned Plant)

Dex: Evolves from Weezing as a result of exposure to high levels of nuclear radiation. Its body is basically a long chain of bombs. If it gets angry enough, each one will go off in succession.

Barooze: Toxic Waste Pokemon
Type: Poison/Steel
Name Origin: [ barrel + ooze ]

Grimer - Muk- Barooze (level up in Abandoned Plant)

Dex: Was first discovered when a curious Muk accidentally spilled a barrel of nuclear waste on its head. The barrel permanently fused to its unstable body structure, giving it a helmet-like skull of steel.

Tyranitar trainer: I'll need a Pokémon from you, then you're in. :)

uzumakikunai: HAIL JAZZINJA! :D And Final Album's an awesome name for a move; I love it. :D I have that same opinion about Righteous Guitar as an item name.

Also, you officially pwn for making a Pokémon based on Ozzy's bat-biting incident. :D

Copygoo: "The Bad Singing Pokémon"... XD Awesome.

GentleArtillery: You're in, and that's a cute little bird. ^^

YellowHat: Drummer Pokémon! :D I like that, and I like the Hollow Blast move.

And I really like the Weezing and Muk evos, too. :D

And, hmm, for the request... Well, if you have any Ice, Steel, Psychic, or Ghost-types (or dual-types with one or two of those types) that you're considering drawing, I'd like to see that. Especially an Ice or Ghost-type. :)

Elementman-Novapoke: For some reason, I really like the idea of a Piano-based Pokémon being part Psychic-type. ^^

...And no, I couldn't resist trying my hand at a Jazzinja alt-evo, either. Sorry! ^^;

Infrarrior (Lol, the poor thing is doomed to be miscalled "Inferior"... XD; Anyway, infra- + warrior)
Type: Sound/Ground
Height: 7'10'' (has to be taller than the guitar-based evo because basses are bigger XP)
Weight: Don't know for sure, but HEAVY.
Ability: Low End (Sound-based moves used by this Pokémon are unaffected by Soundproof)
Evolution: Singad => Jazzinja => Infrarrior (Trade with Seismic Bass)
Appearance: Superficially similar to Rokamurai in terms of being samurai-styled and possessing an amp on its back, but has a few notably reptilian features such as a long, reptilian tail. Infrarrior has green scales and wears brown armor. It has a huge subwoofer on its chest. Shiny form has yellow scales and pale grey armor.
Dex entry: Though lacking vocal prowess, its ability as a bassist is unparalleled. Its powerful low-end attacks can inflict damage comparable to that of an earthquake.
Moves: All of Singad/Jazzinja's moves prior to evolution
-Funk Slap: Type: Sound/Physical PP: 15 Base Power: 20 Accuracy: 100
A volley of rapid attacks. Hits 2-5 times in succession.
-Bass Distort: Type: Sound/Special PP: 20 Base Power: 65 Accuracy: 100
A Sound attack that seems to blur the edges of reality. 10% chance of inflicting Confuse status.
-Sonic Tremor: Type: Sound/undecided PP: 10 Base Power: 100 Accuracy: 100
A shockwave of low-frequency sound. Targets all on field; damage is doubled against Pokémon using Dig.
100-BlownSpeaker: Type: Sound/undecided PP: 5 Base Power: 250 Accuracy: 100
A massive blast of sonic energy that causes the user to faint. Targets all on field.

Help on the big guy's base stats'd be much appreciated. :) Also, I'm not entirely sure about the physical/special classifications of the last two moves (as for the first two, Bass Distort definitely seemed special to me, and Funk Slap I made physical due to its being a barehanded attack); this is my first time working with a Sound-type and I'm not altogether sure of the properties of different Sound-type moves. ^^; And yes, I went and gave Infrarrior the ability of my own bass-based fakemon line. Everyone thinks sound is the next big hit. Personally, I don't see sound as a good type.

Personally, I'd see better a type as

Magic
Attacking
2x: Electric, Fight, Ghost, Dragon, Fight
1/2: Poison, Ice, Psychic, Poison, Normal, Grass
0: Fire

Defending
2x: Poison, Normal, Steel, Grass
1/2: Ground, Dragon, Water, Electric, Fight
0: None

As you can see, Magic boasts being the only type weak to normal. It's also weak to steel (Wizards suck vs swords in their cloth robes), Grass (Nature beats teh magic), and poison (in many fantasy games, poison damage can disrupt casting) Mana is also vaporized by fire.

I am curious how everyone precieves their version of 'sound' type. I'm sure their type chart data has been posted earlier, but I'm sure everyone has their own ideas.

Sike Saner
17th September 2007, 3:08 AM
Dilasc: Generally speaking, I don't use Sound-type for my fakemon, though I did make a Sound-type Pokémon with Sound-type moves recently (I felt that Jazzinja's band of alt-evos could use a bassist X3). So, I guess that as far as that little venture into Sound-type territory is concerned, I'm just going with whatever definition of the Sound type's affinities uzumakikunai uses since I was just working off of one of his Pokémon lines.

I've got Magic-types, too, though my version of the type's somewhat different--I have Magic as super effective against Normal and Poison and resisted by Dragon (not that Dragon needs another resistance, of course XP), for example. My version does share a weakness to Steel and super effectiveness against Ghost in common with your version, however.

Anyway, I am definitely of the opinion that not everyone's version of a fake type has to be the same. ^^

Mageo

Moves Coming Tommorow!

Well when I make fake types, I usually think balance. I follow a few rules that nobody else has to unless they want to.

-Types that share a lot of coverage need something to diversify them. This is fairly true of fight when compared to ground, or steel. Fight type shares two super effective types with both of these, it's not quite the same type, but it doesn't make it too diverse. In fact, steel is inferior to fight type in every offensive way except that it can hit ghosts for normal damage. Similar can be said of Fire and Flying type as they have similar coverage. As such, steel needs more super effective hits. Ghost and Dark are just too blatantly obvious an example that needs little explanation.

-Five super effective limit... for now. I figure no type should have more than five types it is super effective on at least for a while. As such, Ground and Fight Types will stay mostly untouched. Likewise, types that have few types it is weak to get more (such as Electric) and types with few resists (Ice) are boosted as well.

Beyond that, I play to logic to a degree.

GentleArtillery
17th September 2007, 10:10 AM

here's what my sound-type (i.e the disturbingly popular jazzinja ¬.¬) is good+ bad against.... (in definsively, +'s mean that it has a resistance to that type)

offensively:
+ dragon
+ steel
+ flying
- sound
- grass
- water

defensively:
+ sound
+ dragon
- grass
- water

yay.
now for some light types....
light type
offensively:
+ bug
+ dark
+ fighting
- ground
- grass
- fire
defensively:
+ fighting
+ ground
immune to fire
- poison
- normal
- grass

can be combined with STEEL to essentially make another ghostdark.

and now to light pokes.....

Luminaga (Illuminate + naga, a snake spirit/god)
LIGHT
Light snake pkmn
ability: Scrappy
appearance: a Golden and yellow snake.
dex: Luminaga are extremely intelligent pokemon. They are more intelligent, some scientist believe, than humans. Can elvolve in many ways.
moves:
- Holy shard [ice shard, light type]
- Glare
15 Thunder fang
15 fire fang
15 ice fang
27 MagnaBreak [50% chance of fainting the opponent, 50% chance faint user]
35 Illuminate [like a beefed-up flash (i.e acc. lowers by double), but does POW90 damage to dark-types]
48 Recover
has good SPATK, avg others, low HP

Lumicoatl (Illuminate + Quetzalcoatl, Aztec snake god.)
LIGHT/STEEL
Light God pkmn
Luminaga -> Lumicoatl @ lv 50
ability: Levitate
appearance: huge amored, winged snake. armor is pure gold. has green eyes and white wings.
dex: Lumicoatl flys high in the sky, usually in circular patterns. It does this to gain energy from the Sun. Lumicoatl's armor reflects so much light that acient tribes thought that peices of the sun had broken off and were heading towards earth.
moves:
50 Hyper beam
63 Bombardment [see Rokamurai]
75 Judgment (yes, like arceus!)
100 MagnaBlast [LIGHT-type, Pow=150, takes a turn to charge]

has HUGE SPATK and SPD, avg others, decent-ish defenses, low HP.

might post split Luminaga evo's tomoz, or you lot can have a go lolz.

Dilasc

In my opinion Grass should be immune to light because plants absorb light.

In my opinion of Light

Offense:
2x: Ground, Fight, Water, Dark, Ghost
1/2: Fire, Electric, Steel, Ice, Magic
0: Grass, Psychic

Defense:
2x: Poison, Grass, Psychic, Fire
1/2: Water, Fight, Ghost, Electric
0: Dark

Light has an interesting setup. It has great coverage, beating FIVE types, including Water, Fight and Ground, but importantly it crumbles Dark/Ghost. In retrospect, it has TWO types immune to it, which makes the fact that grass also covers Ground and water not so moot. It is weak to poison because toxic clouds can trap light and cause greenhouse effect, grass because grass saps in the light, psychic because it creates a triangle between it and dark, and fire because the smoke blocks light. All in all, light is a special attacking type that goes far with a bug move to back it up against immune switchins. Light makes the fight/ghost ttack combo resistable, a resistance until now only held by normal/ghost types (which there are none of to date)

Personally, one of my other favorites for a type has been

Gravity
Offense
2x: Ground, Electric, Steel
1/2: Ice, Flying, Magic
0: Light

Defense
2x: Poison, Rock, Dragon
1/2: Water, Ice, Ground, Electric
0: Flying

Gravity is interesting. Its coverage isn't too great to be said, and its weak to dragon and worse yet, Rock, and moreso Stealth Rock. Switching in on some grounds and steels won't be easy when they chip 25% or more life away when you switch in. On the bright side, it is immune to flying, even if its damage against flying types is halved.

May I please join? I have been making a fakedex, though I have no scanner. I have, however, sprited my water starter if you'd like to see.

Grrrr. Photobucket going mad. Well, Ill describe it.

Kasabrella.

Based off of the Kasa-Obake, Kasabrella is a Phantem Umbrella, and gains the Ghost typing on evolution. It lives above ground, by walking on its foot, and can also swim, by acting like a torpedo under water.

I also added my personal touch, by adding 2 Eye slits next to the Center Eye, and added a mythology that when a Kasabrella showed you its eyes and cried, the seer was to die within 24 hours.

I also have a Kasa-Obake Pokémon; it's Water/Ghost-type and summons rain. The typical Kasa-Obake look: one eye, big tongue. Instead of a foot as the handle, the umbrella's handle is very flexible and covered in a sticky film.

Paralitza (Paradisaea apoda [the Greater Bird of Paradise] + Strelitzia reginae [a Bird of Paradise flower])
Type: Grass/Flying
Paradise Pokémon
Height: 3’10’’
Weight: 68.1 lbs.
Evolution: None
Ability: Chlorophyll/Leaf Guard
Appearance: An avian Pokémon, mostly deep reddish-brown in color, with a black thoat and chest and a mostly yellow head. Its Grass-type qualities manifest in the form of a spiky-looking orange and purple blossom growing on top of the head. More of these orange-and-purple plant elements grow from the wings. The talons are green, as is the beak, which has a red stripe running lengthwise down the center of the upper beak. The eyes are blue. Males possess long, silky yellow plumage flowing downwards near their tails. Shiny form is pale lavender rather than dark red.

I need to make more birds, I think. o.o; Right now, I only have two and am currently working on a third.

Due to the absence of post yeterday,I should take my time and post two fakemon families. Some of you may notice the first fakemon family..this one includes Inulegant. Yes,I gave it a pre-evolution now.

Are you intrigued yet?

Poffle
Name origin:Puff and poodle.
Pup Pokemon
Type:Ice
Ability:Cute Charm/Snow Cloak
Height:1'04"
Weight:18 lbs
Pokedex data:Poffle are simply adored by female trainers around the world for it's coquetish appearance and beautiful fur. Female Poffle have been known to get into their trainers makeup..Poffle are quite self-conscious and must have their fur groomed regularly.
Evolution: Inulegant@ Level 26.

Inulegant
Name origin:Inu(japanese for dog) and elegant.
Poodle Pokemon
Type:Ice
Ability:ThermalFur(raises speed when given a status condition, raised by two when it is a burn)/Snow Cloak
Height:3'11"
Weight:89 lbs
Overview: The Poffle line's main stats to praise are it's special defense and special attack. Being a canine,it's speed is decent too,but nowhere near as high as Inyulegant's max special attack:370.

It gain's most of the moves Glaceon gets from TM's,aswell as the very popular Psychic and Thunderbolt.(it can use it's fur like Flaaffy),making it a good example of a Pokemon with a good movepool.

It's attack is it's worse stat,as Poffle tend to hate attacking indirectly, and so is it's defense. The HP,however,is pretty decent, which means if you EVtrain it's defense a little,it won't be facing any major problems.

One shouldn't focus on this Pokemon's speed,as Thermalfur covers that problem...since status problems tend to be abundant, especially burn.

Breed with Weavile for Nasty Plot....can't you imagine a Poffle plotting like a jealous cheerleader?

Elephoam
name origin:Elephant and foam
Faucet Pokemon
Type:Water
Ability:Hydration/Pickup
Height:2'08"
Weight:102 lbs
Pokedex data: One glance at this Pokemon and it looks like an ordinary elephant. But there is much more than meets the eye with it.

It has the ability to store large amounts of water in it's ears and trunk, which provide an excellent weapon for self-defense. I don't know if you know this, but when at a very high speed, water can HURT.

Being a baby elephant,it has quite a cute demanor. It will be more than glad to sidle up to a passing trainer and start licking him/her or touching them with it's long trunk.

Yes,these things can be used to go through an ocean. They don't swim very well, but their trunk makes an excellent oar.
Evolution:Dousyderm@Level 40

Dousyderm
name origin:Douse and pachyderm. I like that name,it clashes with it's overall violent nature.
Elephant Pokemon
Type:Water/Dark
Ability:Hydration/Anger Point
Height:12'05"
Weight:805 lbs
Family overview: The Elephoam line is quite an interesting one..with Hydration it makes for an excellent teammate for a RainDance team.

It has equal attacking stats, like Infernape. Wether you want it to be a special oritented Pokemon or physical is up to you.

You get a large amount of moves if you go physical, like Earthquake,Avelanch,Waterfall,Swords Dance,Crunch, and Megahorn and Shadow Claw(using its tusks),while you get the interesting Psychic,Surf,Hydro Pump,Dark Pulse,Nasty Plot and Earth Power.

Top it all off with Amnesia and high defense and you have a winner.

It's speed, special defense and HP,however, are not as lucky. But those are the disadvantages when being a flexible Pokemon.

Appearance:(the image is bad quality, and not coloured)
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a345/photomasta12/Fakemon/img040.jpg
@Luxray_Masta_211:Your Pokemon seem nice, but I'm guessing your fire starter is a turtle? Not to be mean, but I really think that would be stealing the spotlight from our friend Torkoal.

@Sike Saner:Ordinary, yet interesting Pokemon rule. Even though it isn's super special in any way,I would definitley love to train a Paralitza. But whenever I hear that name my brain drifts to electricity...0.0

Hm, heres my idea for the light type:

Light
pokemon itself
Weak against:
dark
steel
Strong against:
dragon
ghost
psychic

attacks
super effective hit:
psychic
ghost
dragon
dark
ineffective hits:
steel
fighting

The reasoning: I always saw light and darkness as complementary yet neutralizing elements. Therefore, they're weak against each other. Steel can be seen as a technological element, in other words represents science. Most believers in science are against religion, which light is often generalized with. Ghost and psychic are supernatural types and are often seen as "evil" while light being "good". Dragons....well...i felt like they just needed another weakness(seriously, two weakness's isn't enough). Fighting types would be strong against it because i always saw fighting as the "hero" element. In other words, on the side of good, so being weak against good is, well, doesn't make sense.

There ya have it

I also have my own idea for an element:

Void type

although most people have probably already thought of it being a type, i have a difference view of the element as opposed to most other people.

Well, i always saw normal type as the balanced type, since i had thought that it had no weakness's or resistances. Of course when I actually first played pokemon for the first time I found out that I was wrong, such as the weakness to fighting types and strength to ghost types and such. Anyways, I'm sure you know what I'm getting at.

Void is basically nothingness, so i thought it would be a good name for a type without weakness's or resistances'. Although some people wouldn't like the idea, I just think it would tight so yeah.

Anyways, heres the evolution to my pokemon Azdrahok:

Name: Dahazhi(yeah, i know, sounds like a rapper on crack)
Type:Poison/Dragon
Synthetic pokemon
Ability: Clear body/Fallout (decreases opponents stats every turn by 6, but loses 1/16th of own hp)
Height: 5'11''
Weight: 180 Lbs
Appearance: It takes a pretty big leap from its original form. Its not very human shape, but is still bipedal. It has more ram looking legs than human shape , but still has the palkia like foot. its tail is now about 2 feet long. It has grown blade like protrusions extending from its elbows and above its shoulders. Its hands have kind of flattened , almost like fins, and has three claws at the end. It has a more masculine torso. Broad shoulders, visible collar bones and almost has chest muscles. Its neck is longer than its preevo and the horn on the back of its head is longer. It has a more flattened looking head, almost snout like, yet it still doesn't have a visible mouth.lastly, it has two protrusions instead of one horn like appendages on its head. They're much longer than its preevos and have a feather like quality to them
Pokedex entry: Like its preevo, it is very rare and not found in nature. It to still has an unstable nature and its body goes through beta decay, which, unlike alpha decay, is not entirely safe to even be around. Dahazhi's are also independent. In an experiment, they seem to be completely unaware if another of their kind is harmed, although it can be concluded that they have some kind of honor code where if you cant defend yourself on your own your better off dead. Although under research, it's ability to still be alive while emitting any kind of decay is still unknown.
Evs: 2 sp atk

Like its preevo, it's best as a sp sweeper.

Well thats all for the poison dragons at the moment. Once i reveal the final evolution ill probably scan them to show to you guys.

Luxray_Masta_211: Yes to pure-Flying-types, definitely. :)

^^Yoshinichi^^: Glad to see a pre-evo for Inulegant, and glad to see pics of the Poffle and Elephoam lines, too. I especially like Elephoam's faucet-like trunk. ^^

Big bang theology: I love Dahazhi's name (as well as Azdrahok's) and would like very much to know how you came up with those. And I look forward to that line possibly being scanned someday. ^^

I personally have no problem with the idea of a 100%-neutral type; I've got one of those myself, in fact, called Null. Some would say that neautral typesd have no place in the games, and maybe they don't, but meh. I'm not really making these things with the games in mind; I like to give them some level of game-relevant information like evolution method and ability and such, but mostly I just make the creatures for the sake of making creatures or occasionally for fiction and/or art. ^^;

I have entertained the notion of collaborating with someone to make gameworthy editions of some of my creatures, though, and still may. :) I do find it pretty cool to have very detailed information about a Pokémon.

Anyway, I presently have only two Null-type Pokémon (one of which is, yes, an Eevee evolution; I made one for each of the three fake types I use), and I don't really have any intentions of making more:

Nihileon (nihil + eon)
Type: Null
Blank Pokémon
Length: 2’8’’
Weight: 56.9 lbs.
Evolution: Eevee => Nihileon (Were such a thing available in a game context, I've imagined that there would be either a place or a person to which you could go and get your Eevee “stripped” of its type, triggering its evolution into a Null-type form.)
Ability: Originally this had Nullify (which disables the abilities of all Pokémon on the field), but I'm thinking of coming up with something else for it instead.
Apperance: Typical Eon-form creature, and an extremely simplified version thereof: no frills, no accessories. Nihileon is grey-furred, with black eyes. It has a somewhat short, tapering, doglike tail and ears that are not much different from Eevee’s, just slightly shorter. Shiny form has a slight greenish tint.

Nullshade (literally just null + shade)
Type: Null
Null Pokémon
Height: 9’4’’
Weight: ??? (probably considerably less than it seems like something that size should weigh, given that it’s not exactly a physical being)
Evolution: None
Ability: Nullify
Appearance: The very incarnation of the Null element (or un-element), Nullshade is a being of pure Null-energy, which gives it the appearance of being made of very dim (practically non-luminous), pale grey fire. These “flames” constantly dance and flicker about its “arms”, “shoulders”, and “head”. It has eyes, or what look like eyes, of pure, blank white. Its body tapers and kind of fades out in a ghostly tail. Shiny form is white, with black eyes.

The only Null-type moves I currently have are a set-damage move (Grey Beam, a Null-type Night Shade), a Pain Split equivalent (Equalize), a Null-type OHKO (Erasure), and a Haze equivalent (Negate). I do intend to make at least one damaging Null move that's not a set-damage move, but probably only one. The rest I'll make, which will not be many in number, will mostly just be a bunch of quirky little moves with strange effects.

I like my fake types. Alien was the first one I did, a long time ago, after G/S came out. I made it because my first fakemon, an Eevee evolution called Cosmeon, who was originally a Psychic type, was replaced by the official Psychic Eevee, Espeon. I actually called it the Magic type at first, then the Cosmic type, and recently I've been calling it the Alien type. My friend from back in the GSC days liked Dragon types, and so the Alien type is partially tailor-made to counter Dragons. I recently revised its weaknesses to include Poison (read or watch War of the Worlds to get this), I'm also using them to cut down the power of the four most insanely babied types: Ground, Water, Rock, and Fighting. Light and Alien render Poison type attacks much more useful than ever before, and pairing any of these types with Fire, Ice, Grass, or Bug helps raise their power.

New Pokemon from me! ^.^

Nullai
Haunting Pokemon
Ghost
Picture: http://digitalflareon.deviantart.com/art/Nullai-Sketches-65181583
Ability: Insomnia/Marvel Scale
Height: 3'03"
Weight: 29 lbs
Flavor Text: Criminals may commit their deeds in darkness, but they still fear this lurking Pokemon. The long, yellow tentacle lures and snatches victims. It's presence can be felt by those who live near its nest. Symptoms of "Nullai Sickness" include piercing headaches, nausea, vomiting, madness, and sleep paralysis.
Evolves from Lonie at level 20.
Evolves into Rachevyn at level 40 or males can evolve into Revenyde via Dawn Stone.

Once again, I reiterate the fact it is amphibious, living above land, and below, due to its lack of the necessity to breath. It swims like a torpedo, making itself streamlined.

Statistically, it and its evos:

HP: Very Good. Finishes around Base 110
Att: Poorish.
Defense: Awful
Special Attack: AMAZING. Finishing with base 140
Special Defense: Lower than HP but still good
Speed: Same as Special Defense.

Hm, i like that eeveelution.

It could possibly evolve through means of a xaoc stone, which takes on the form of the chaos symbol(xaoc is greek for chaos) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaos

take note that although in these days chaos means disorder, its archaic meaning was nothingness(space, in a sense). It can be tied with null, nihilo and void, since they all mean nothingess or absence in value.

hm, ah null/void type attack that does damage

Pereo ex nihilo
Type: Void(or null, if you wish)
PP: 5
Pow:150
Acc: 100
Description: The pokemon creates a rift in time and space that destroys all that it comes in contact with(its kind of like a black hole)
Pereo ex nihilo means "destruction out of nothing"(hence the fact that its void(null) type and destroys everything) and comes from the phrase creatio ex nihilo, which means "creation out of nothing"(refers to god creating everything out of nothing)

My idea of chaos is that matter and energy cant exist in it, since its the opposite of cosmos, which is everything. Heck, in a doujinshi idea that i have chaos exist as something like a raging ocean, only the beings of nothing can exist in it and matter/enegy is immediately erased from existence in it, and vice versa. I have many other ideas of it but i dont feel like typing anymore of it so neyh. Hehheh.

Ah yes, time for the last of the poison dragons

Name: Azvevdemis( the emphasis is on the az part. and the last part isnt "demees" or "demeyes", its "de-miss"
Type:Poison/Dragon
Half life pokemon
Ability: Clear body/Fallout (decreases opponents stats every turn by 6, but loses 1/16th of own hp)
Height: 8'11''
Weight: 270 Lbs
Appearance: Oh god i wish i didnt make it loook so complicated...
Anyways, its tail is now 4 feet long, thicker, and has a one side hooked tail. its legs are three times longer now and is in a crouching position with its arms touching the floor. In other words it has a more dragon/bird esque style of legs now. it no longer has the toe at the back of its foot(which i why i called it palkia like) and instead has three toes pointing forward. It has become much more masculine, as it has chest muscles and the bulging bone thing below the chest and has a narrowing waist. Down to where its torso attaches to its legs, it has no crotch area(1. because no dragon evr has a crotch are and 2. because it looks tight like that). The upper harms have become muscular as well. Its shoulder are evn braoder than its preevo. It also has spikes coming out of its shoulder and have a hook shape(though different from the tail). It arms got back the thickness like its first preevo had and lost the defined looking claws that its second preevo had, trading them for more shorter and webbed looking ones(but it doesnt detract from the fact that it still looks cool). The spike son its elbows are now blade like and have a hook like shape near the base. As the blade goes up it becomes somewhat tapered in the middled and edges up a bit around the middle of it. Two teeth like horns grow form the bottom of its head and point in between horizontally and vertically downwards. The feather like horns on its head have also become blade like and are shaped somewhat like scimitars and much longer as well. The spike pointing from the back of its head nearly doubled in length. It also a horn on its head that grows from the snout area and look as if though it was meant to be a shield to protect its head. Lastly, the eyes have lost the look of awareness it originally had( the pupils gone, its just a yellow glowing slit)and looks as if though it has heavy eye liner.
Pokedex entry: The final evolution of the synthetic pokemon, it was discovered that it stays alive by dividing its cells and stabilizing them by combining them with other elements in nature, although it has learned to use the radiation as a weapon. It now emits Gamma decay, which can be lethal. Unlike its secondary evolution, it now focus's on team effort, since it has proved that it is powerful enough to exist on its own by evolving this far. Although the pokemon has can have catastrophic results if they ever decide to make humans an enemy, they seem to quite peaceful in natureand only wish to exist like any other being(similar to how the native americans felt about the english settlers)
Evs: 3 sp atk

Like its other two preevos, it's best as a sp sweeper.

Well thats all of them. I guess i should reveal what its name mean.

The first two are corruptions of Azhi dahaka, which is a three headed poisonous serpent in persian mythology, equivalent to the japanese orochi ro the greek hydra. It was said that it bleeds vermin(basically poisonous animals). Although its different depending on which mythology you look at, since it not just in persian myth, form what i just found out not to long ago.

I combined the idea of a poisonous dragon with synthetic elements.
I've always generalized radiation with steel and poison elements(poison because radiation is a biohazard. Steel because , like i said in my other post, i seem steel as the technological element, and nukes where created using technology. Also because most elements in the periodic table are metals). Thats why the azhi line is synthetically made. They, like synthetic elements, emit radiation, although unlike these elements, they dont die(synthetics dont last long) very fast. They actually have about twice the lifespan of a human, and never physically age. Also, the fact that the last evo is the "half life" pokemon doesnt mean that its halfway through its lifespan, half life is basically the amount of time it takes for the elemsnt to decay to half of it original value. Although i only used it because i didnt feel like calling it the "nuke" pokemon =P

lol. Anyways, as for the pics, ill put em up later, since this will be the first time that i ever tried to put my art on the internet lol

edit: wow, that was a long post...

edit 2: Dang, because of copygoos legendary snake trio my dragon trio that i was gonna make sounds unoriginal now, GAHS.

Copygoo: I would prefer for people in this club to feel free to talk about types as they wish. :( Similarly, you are free not to read the type affinity lists and whatnot if you don't want to.

Big bang theology: By the chaos-based definition of the Void type, a highly-damaging move of that type does indeed make a lot of sense. And that radioactive dragon line is just seriously boss, in terms of name, concept, and design. :D

And eh, I'd say it's all right if people's ideas are similar--let any given work of art be judged independently, I say. :)

Hehheh thanks. The thing about me is, i never make a half assed pokemon, i always like making it something you wouldnt want to meet in a dark alley, lol

hehheh as for your edit i hope one of these you are good at typing XD(not an insult)

Hm, yeh i guess i could still try the trio. Anyways i dun think its any similar to what i have in mind for them. Although im probably not gonna work on them for a while, i want to make 160 regular pokemon before i go into making legends (at the moment, i have about 30)

You know, looking back, there certain things that i didnt think about when making the azhi line, which im now going to remedy

all of the azhi line have monster/dragon breeding groups.

and Azdrahok evolves to dahazhi at lv 25 and dahazhi to azvevdemis at lv 50.

anyways, i was gonna try and put up those pics now, but i cant seem to find where i put the scanned image at >.< and its late so i cant do it right now, ill do it tommorow. Anyways, thanks for liking my ideas so much =)

Juggernaut ability wins.

I'M THE JUGGERNAUT B***H!

Though I didn't take Juggernaut from the annoying X-Man franchise.

Juggernaut's original word is the Sanskrit word Jagannatha, which means "Lord of the universe." In for example India and Nepal, there are chariots [link (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/ca/Juggernaut_-_Project_Gutenberg_eBook_11921.jpg)] "deticated" for Jagganatha, and when Europeans came to India and saw these powerful chariots, they considered them unstoppable as they drove forwards, and therefore made "juggernaut" the universal name for something that can't be stopped.

Would sound better as Poison/Steel in my opinion. Just because it's a SEA urchin doesn't make it a watery creature.

In any case, I think Psychic being immune to light works well. In this

psychic are supernatural types and are often seen as "evil" while light being "good".

This doesn't ring with me. When I hear of psychic, I think of a state of enriched enlightenment brought about by mental labor. Surely by Bhuddist standards, Psychic capabilities could be sacred, and in my opinion, immune to light. Even by western standards, the powers of saints and religious figures were of an enlightened nature, likely empowered by the psyche. Doesn't sound 'evil' to me.

As such, we could form a triangle similar to grass>water>fire>grass, instead as psychic>light>dark>psychic, with immunities being the breaking factor.

Anyway, a new creature for once, and for the long time being, I'm going to forget any potential new types, even my own.

Seedzooks
Type: Flying/Grass = Primarily a creature in flight, and though made of plant material, its a freakin airplane mimic!
Ability: Fertilizer (20% Chance to inflict leech seeds when physically struck in combat)/Sniper
Appearance: Seedzooks actually looks like a jet warplane, equipped with a variety of gun turrets. Minimal time to write keeps the description short. But the basic gist is a wing flapping jet fighter that's made of plants and leaves.
Evolution: Seedzooka at 29
Breeding Group: Flying/Grass

Well, I'm not an expert on these things. .____.

I didn't mean that xD I'm not angry or anything. I just love to explain stuff I know x3

My legendary trio will respresent liberty, combat and peace, and their "leader" will respresent victory. The group word for them will be The Legendary Humanoids, probably, because they will be humanoid in appearance. Their faces won't have ears, mouths or noses, only eyes, who will be closed.

The liberty Pokémon will (like with many Fakemon creater's counterparts) have the Flying-type. Pure Flying. It'll be very, very good in Speed, but rather poor (for a legendary) in the other stats. It's unnamed Ability will give it immunity from moves such as Leech Seed and Curse, and make it able to escape at any time, including when the opponent have used Mind Reader, Block, Wrap, Bind and such, or has Shadow Tag. I haven't decided how the Pokémon will look like yet.

The combat Pokémon will be Fighting-type, and look like a Pokémon-ish warrior, much like Gallade. It will have good offensive stats, especially Attack. It's unnamed Ability will raise the power of Fighting-type moves every turn.

The peace Pokémon will be Grass-type, and look like a humanoid that has eaten a bit too much ice cream, sitting in a lotus flower and meditating. It's stats will have heavy contrast between HP and defenses and Attack and Speed; the Special Attack will be average. It will have the Ability Sacred Charm, which I described in my previous post where I listed abilities.

Hm, kinda makes sense but form what i know, the catholic/jewish/whatever religion doesnt even like the term "psychic". Its generalized as being evil along with the term "magic" as well. Basically, no what way you look at it catholics see it as evil, so sry but wont exactly work. And theres something else id liked to know, why exactly light be weak against psychic? You didnt exactly give an explanation for that.

I like the idea of a Sea Urchin pokemon, and will draw it once I have finished drawing my newest legendary pokemon .I currently have 5. A Poison/Dragon Cockatrice (The Cresselia/Heatran of the Gen). A Gargoyle, whose ability makes it Ghost/Rock during the day, with UBER Defense, but bad speed, but during night it becomes pure Ghost, Defense drops, but Speed and attack go up. Like the Cockatrice it has little significance to the game.

Next is my Mewtwo/Rayquaza. An Ice/Flying Reindeer (Teehee). It has a collar of coal, to explain where the Coal in Stockings legend comes from.

Next my 2 Unobtainables. My little legend is a Fire/Ghost Devil (But its cheeky, not malevolant) and a Ground/Psychic Sphinx.

Anyways, my next legend will be a Psychic/Ghost Dream Catcher. :D

I am bored with the 6x100 staters, they have no imagination. it suited Mew, with probably the most diverse movepool, but Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy and Shaymin? bah.
so i'm making a new, still BASE 600, poke:
Endurian
Psychic/Steel
abilty: Heatproof/Levitate [50-50]
appearance: typical "Mew-esque" features, big head, smallish body etc., but made of pure liquid metal. Has twin tails that resemble D-form Deoxys's tentacles, which can wrap around Endurian in a coccoon-like way. they also respond to danger automatically, the Gaara's (Naruto) Sand. They can reach 12ft in length if they have to. they are not very good for attack.
Dex: Endurian cannot be harmed. They are pure metal controlled by a psychic field, which is produced by a central, living, core. The core cannot be penetrated by any means. Legend is that an Endurian's core flew through the Sun unharmed.
stats:
HP 130
ATK 20
DEF 160
SPATK 30
SPATK 180
SPD 80

offensive version coming soon....

Endurian's good, too. I like its design; a Pokémon made of living metal sounds very cool. o.o

Psychic's advantage to Light is that Psychics are Enlightened. Hence, they see with their mind, and thusly are not blinded by light. This lack of hinderance makes them great slayers as they can fight the power of photons with their eyes closed.

Anyway, new creature
Voidantce
Type: Dark/Bug
Ability: Swarm/Tinted Lense
Evolution: Antrum at 29
Appearance: Voidantce looks far different than the fire ant starter Fiyrant. For one thing, Voidantce is not a cyclops. It looks much like an ant. The biggest difference on its pitch black body is its eyes. Though with the hexagonal frames around them, there are visible, swirling voids in them. This creature is about as big as a human foot, maybe a bit bigger.
Stats: 70 HP/90 Atk/60 Def/70 SpAtk/82 SpDef/68 Spd Total: 440
Not quite competitive stats, are they? Wanna evolve?
Antrum: 85 HP/110 Atk/75 Def/90 SpAtk/92 SpDef/78 Spd Total: 530
Those are nicer stats. It can nasty Plot, Toxic Spikes, and Earthquake. With Tinted Lense, its coverage is great. It needs a move (Earthquake) To smack Lucario's resistance to both STAB types, but otherwise, at least one creature is hit neutrally by both STABs. Its special and physical pools are both very full of goodies. You can't go too wrong with Antrum.
Breeding Group: Indeterminate/Bug

This is a trio of legendary Beasts to match up with Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/8608/beastridershalin9is.th.jpg (http://img153.imageshack.us/my.php?image=beastridershalin9is.jpg)
Midori is a shy legendary Pokémon that once dwelled with Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, but never returned to the tower after the fire of old. Recently discovered in a temple garden in an island east of Hard Mountain. When using Extreme Speed, she glows a bright green color and looks like a comet streaking across the ground. She can also coil her body back in mid-jump and snap forward like a living whip of sorts. When carrying a rider, she straps the rider to her body using the thick vines on her back; that way it is impossible to fall off no matter how fast she goes or how hard she bucks. If she feels threatened when touched, she will excrete a powerful poison from pores all over her body. Anyone who rides Midori must take extra care not to frighten her for this very reason.

Zoltin is a mysterious legendary Pokémon whose origins are unknown. The wings on its sides span 16 feet when outstretched. With a running start, it can use them to start flying. Once it's in the air, it doesn't really need them--it can run on air as if it were land, jumping up and down to different elevations. It is also capable of the soaring flight one would expect from any flying-type. Though it has no talons like a bird, its claws serve the same purpose. Rather then use white laserlike beams to attack, Zoltin prefers to hunt like a bird of prey would--it reaches a ludicrous height, then dives to the ground at a high angle. The fastest dive of this Pokémon has been recorded at an incredible 356 mph.

Akuji's origins are also unknown. It is rivaled with Zoltin, and they often fought for power. This Pokémon is a sprinter, tiring quickly but able to run faster than 300 mph for a brief time before slowing down. Though it has some Dark-type special attacks, it is mainly a physical brute. Very hostile and very difficult to train, even some of those who successfully train it are corrupted by its dark power.

Yes, I'm a member. Thanks so much! I've got another one. This is the evo. to the first one that I made which was a grass starter.

Fakemon
Name: Cocvollo
Height: 4'6
Weight: 243
Type: Grass/Fighting
Classification: Forest Crocodile
Dex Entry: This pokemon is nicknamed, "The Forest Demon". It uses the vines on its wrists to swing from treetop to treetop. Its bite is strong enough to crunch the base off of a 3 foot tree.
Description: It is tall, has sharp fangs, it has two large plates on its head, it has small trees on its back, vines are wrapped around its wrists, it has blades on its arms, it has a bulky body, its legs are strong and it has a plated chest.

Also, do you need club banners? Because I can make some. And club userbars too.

Fire
Flying
Ground
resistances:
everything else except light, sound and dark.

2x damage(attacking):
Steel
Fighting

0.5x damage:

i chose the types that i did for weaknesses because they represent the 4 elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth. I read in a storybook that a titan was defeated only because the spirits of these elements joined forces. :)

I'm currently working on a stick-insect fakemon that evolves into an insect that's, well, literally made of sticks. Which has probably been done before, but whatever. XD I'm also working on a couple of little legendaries (one for each of my two regions); one of them's been around a while but lacked its actual appearance, while the idea for the other has only recently come to me.

In the meantime, here's this little guy again:

Rinject (syringe + inject)
Needle Pokémon
Type: Steel/Poison
Ability: (as yet undecided)
Length: 0’7’’
Weight: 1.1 lb.
Evolution: None (though I have entertained the notion of evolving it and may still ultimately do so)
Appearance: A very small, mechanoid-looking Pokémon, scorpionlike in form. It has only four legs, however, as well as a pair of “arms”, and also possesses a tail that is raked forward over its back. Its arms and tail are each equipped with very fine needles. Its body is silver, with lime green eyes and accents of the same color on its legs and tail. Shiny form is pale gold with cobalt blue accents and eyes.

Had no luck with my Dream Catcher or Sea Urchin, so reverted back to 2 old ideas and drew them.

First, a Steel Hedgehog (Which evolves into a Steel/Poison Porcupine), which I had problems drawins before, but now looks good. The spines on its back are pure steel, and when it curls up into a ball in resembles a Iron Ball (The item)

Next was the Dratini/Larvitar/Bagon/Beldum/Gible of the gen. This time an ORANG-UTAN! Pure Fire (And when it evolves it becomes Fire/Psychic) with a "mane" of fire, where a baby orang's "Mane" would be.

The good news is that you've already provided some fakemon, so you can just copy and paste one (Tropigon, for example ^^) into a post saying you want to join, and then I can approve you.

Big bang theology
25th September 2007, 12:53 AM
Psychic's advantage to Light is that Psychics are Enlightened. Hence, they see with their mind, and thusly are not blinded by light. This lack of hinderance makes them great slayers as they can fight the power of photons with their eyes closed.

gah this is kind of late but...

hm, oh, i see, your talkiing about light in a different way than i think it. Your thinking of a the physical light, like the electromagnetic wavelength. Your concept of it and mine are different you see. Since im religious, i see light as an element of goodness and stuff link that, understand? In other words, my idea of light has nothing to do with the visible radiation, but with goodness, yeah.

Er, kinda crappy how i explained it but eh whatever.

Anyways, sorry that i haven't posted anything, its just that my mom took my comp away >.<.

Let's have a topic, shall we?

Have you made any legendary fakemon, and if so, how many?

I've done thirteen legendaries. By region:

Mordial: Five legendaries
Veram: Seven legendaries

Then there's the thirteenth, Nullshade, which I've not exactly associated with any region in particular yet.

So yeah, Veram has enough (maybe more than enough), and really I have no intentions or ideas for more legendaries for Mordial.

Oh, and as for Veram and Mordial... I don't have a lot of specific information about them as of yet (such as city/location names, complete Pokédexes for either, or gym leader information [assuming I choose to even have gyms in these regions, that is]). What can be said about them for now is that they are themed regions: Mordial has a strong fantasy theme, while Veram has a strong sci-fi theme. One part of their themed nature is that each of these regions contains some Pokémon of an unofficial type that fits that region's theme.

You can see a major 190 stat point jump, and an astronomic leap in speed to the level that makes Garchomp So deadly. It can learn Nasty Plot, and with Chlorophyll, not much will catch it and it can utilize both STAB types with great success. With Sun Power, it gets immense strength at a cost of life. All in all, try it. Just remember to let it learn all its useful moves that you want before evolving. See if you can last to Seed Flare of level 79.

I've made up Legendaries.

A trio, two ubers and an angel for Alraba.

And another called Leilise, the polar opposite of my friend's fakemon Dragotox. Lelise was my first fake legend and one of my earliest fakes.

That makes seven legendaries.

Okay, Here's the next fakemon in my fakedex. I'll get to the legendaries when I do.

DieChavsDie: Maybe people care, but just don't have anything specific to say. *shrugs*

And I still like the heck out of that gargoyle-fakemon concept. :D

Dilasc:
It's about the size of one's longest and most derogatory finger.

Awesome. XD This is one of the things I especially like about your fakemon descriptions: not only are they informative, but they can also be quite entertaining.

And yes to the idea of more Pokémon that evolve via Sun Stone.

Arceus Master: Laveger sounds pretty cool. :)

Chariking: You're in. :)

GAH Finally I have a chance to post another fakemon. Kept on getting my comp taken away for the lamest things..gah

anyways, heres a fakemon

Name:Aquamaron( aqua+ camaron(means shrimp in spanish))
Bottom dweller pokemon
Type: Water/Bug
Ability: Swift swim
Egg group: Bug/Water 1
Appearance: Hehheh its a kawaiified shrimp. it has a dolphin like tail(which was accidental, gah, but looks good on it) and a fin at the end of it(which for some reason look like balls o.O). The tail itself appears to be like a shell which covers the tail. It has another shell (keep in mind not like a turtle shell)on its back and head. The back shell has two spikes pointing back and a thick golden colored line at the end of the back of the shell itself. It has three pairs of insect like legs. Lastly, on its head, the shell has a curved form, curving from the top of where tis head would be It also has a stripe a little below the curving point and another thick golden line at the end of the shell. It has two antennas that have little balls on the end(these would normally be the eyes but since i didn't have a reference for a shrimp at the time, eh). It has a little sideways d shaped mouth and cute babyish eyes.
Pokedex entry: Although it looks fragile, its body is actually quite strong. The shells doesnt even seem to be needed, acting more like a backup in a way. It is very friendly towards other pokemon though and rarely ever has to withdraw, only when predators show up, which even then dont come along very often. The older they get though, the less friendlier they seem to become, apparently blades begin to form at the back of its two front arms.

Evs: 1 Def

Well, most might not exactly like it, but the evolution is something quite new. A type combination that hasnt seen the light of day yet. Also, its just plaine cool, in my opinion. So perhaps the second one will be more enjoyable.

Anyways, as for Sikes question, yeh, i made legendaries, 11 so far, but i havent really fleshed them out or drawn them yet. But i will sooner or later, after i finish the rest of my fakedex.

Yes, I the bizarre Yoshinichi, have returned!

I have revised some of my fakemon designs, and I redid my fake legendary trio. They are no based in djinn, instead of the overused dragons.

I'm going to be making a fanrt thread for my fakemon soon, so please look forward to that and post there..you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

The legendary trio, like I said before, are djinns, or djinni. (which is the original word for genie)

I'll post a vivid descripiton of all three of them, and see how well you peice together their significance.

They're all unamed,so please help me with that..let me describe them.

???
Justice Pokemon
Type:Fire
Ability:Levitate
Height:2'04" ft
Weight:15 lbs
Description: Created by the very hands of Arceus, it has the occupation of overseeing the judgement of a Pokemon (and by rumour, humans) when they die.

It is very formal, interrogates the deceased, and has the final say in whether they go to heaven or hell. It has a quick temper. It's the prosecutor and judge of the three.

???
Mercy Pokemon
Type:Electric
Ability:Levitate
Height:2'04 ft
Weight:15 lbs
Description: A legendary Pokemon under the service of Arceus, it points out the good points of the deceased no matter how evil they are aswell as the bad points of even the most innocent of people when they die.

It is the Pokemon that sticks up for even the evilest of people...and cries if they go to hell.

It acts a bit like a lawyer.
???
Punishment Pokemon
Type:Poison
Ability:Levitate
Height:2'04 ft
Weight:15 lbs
Description: A legendary Pokemon with a very malicious nature, it is in charge for punishing the sinners... the Justice Pokemon may have the final say,but this Pokemon lets the deceased pick their poison:
Eternal Torture trapped on the planet as a ghost, eternity in hell, or your soul being crushed and ceasing to exist even in the spirit world.

It is the "tortureman" of the three.

Appearance: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a345/photomasta12/Fakemon/img041.png

So my colleagues,do you like the idea of these Pokemon? Each of the three are immune to one of their weaknesses, and the mercy Pokemon has no weaknesses.

The stat layout is as follows: Poison type has super high offensive stats, Electric type has very high HP and speed, making a good Batonpasser, and the Fire type has high defensive stats.

Yay or nay?

Big bang theology: I really like Aquamaron. ^^ I think it'd be neat to keep one around in an aquarium. (How big is it, incidentally? o.o) It's a very cute Pokémon, at any rate. It's got a good name, too.

fosterfossil: You're in. I would like to know something about Aeropteryx, though: When you say that Aerodactyl evolves into this creature with the Ancient Feather, how exactly do you mean that it does? Does it evolve when you trade it with that item, or when you level the Pokémon up while it holds that item, or what?

^^Yoshinichi^^: I like that trio. ^^ Cool concepts in terms of what those Pokémon represent, and good designs, too. They all look great, but somehow I find myself liking the design of the justice-based one the best.

Following is a reposted line of Pokémon that I originally intended as starters, but I may just have them as regular Pokémon instead:

Durynde (durian + rind)
Type: Grass/Rock
Thorn Skin Pokémon
Height: 1’7’’
Weight: 10.1 lbs.
Evolution: Durynde => Duresus (Lv. 16) => Duranutan (Lv. 32)
Ability: Overgrow (or Rough Skin should I decide to make them non-starters)
Appearance: A small, ‘cutesy’, monkeylike creature. Instead of fur, it has a hardened, prickly hide of a dull brownish-green except for on its face, ears, feet, and hands, which are far smoother and yellowish-white in color. Its eyes are small and dark. Shiny form is a dull yellow shade, with the thornless parts being white.

Duresus (durian + Rhesus Macaque)
Type: Grass/Rock
Thorn Skin Pokémon
Height: 3’5’’
Weight: 49.4 lbs.
Evolution: Durynde => Duresus (Lv. 16) => Duranutan (Lv. 32)
Ability: Overgrow
Appearance: Physically based on the Rhesus Macaque. Like Durynde, it has tough, prickly skin everywhere other than its face, hands, feet, and ears. Its coloring, both for non-shiny and shiny versions, is identical to Durynde’s with the exception of its eyes, which are red for non-shinies and blue for shinies.

Duranutan (durian + orangutan)
Type: Grass/Rock
Thorn Skin Pokémon
Height: 5’11’’
Weight: 259 lbs.
Evolution: Durynde => Duresus (Lv. 16) Duranutan (Lv. 32)
Ability: Overgrow
Appearance: Physically based on the orangutan. Its thorns are much larger and more pronounced than those of its prior forms, and the color of its hide leans a little more towards brown than green. The same areas that are devoid of thorns in its previous forms are so for the final stage of this species, as well. These areas are a dark grey for Duranutan, however. Males of the species are distinguished easily by the prominent, fleshy flaps on their faces. The eyes are bright red. Shiny form swaps the grey parts for gold and has blue eyes.

Originally, this line consisted only of Durynde, and it was not a simian but rather literally based on the durian itself. Then one night I had a dream in which I referred to it as having an evolution called "Duranutan", and remembered that dream upon waking. I think my sleeping mind just produced that because it happened to rhyme with itself, but of course as I consciously considered it I thought of the name representing something with the qualities of both a durian and an ape, and so I ran with that. Thus, Durynde became the first form of a line of durian-skinned primates, a line comprised of itself, the dream-spawned Duranutan, and the middle stage Duresus thrown in when that name occurred to me and I liked it. Yay for dreams. :D

Me again. Still working on drawing my Ice/Dragon line, just need to draw the last stage.

I went on an evo-ing spree, lately, and created evos for the following pokemon-

Muk (which you saw)
Weezing (which you saw)
Spiritomb
Forretress
Primeape
Castform (3 evos for this guy)
Pachirisu
Eevee (Steel)

I'm still going, too, and am trying to come up with a cool design for Persian, Quagsire, and Xatu evos. I also made a prevo for Kangaskhaun, which is a one-timer sort of thing that ties into my main story. You should already know what it looks like, since its just a baby Kangaskhaun.

So, without further ado, here's some new fakemon! Ying!
http://i22.*******.com/2f03o1f.jpg

Metaleon: Iron Plate Pokemon
Type: Steel
Name Origin: [metallic + eon (traditional ending for Eeveeution names)]
Dex: Results from Eevee's exposure to both an ancient form of metal and the energy produced from trading with other trainers. The plates that cover it cannot be dented or harmed in any way, giving Metaleon incredible defensive abilities.

Evolves from Eevee when traded while holding Lost Ore.

Pachiride: Flying Squirrel Pokemon
Type: Electric/Flying
Name Origin: [Pachirisu + glide]
Dex: Pachiride uses the electricity in its body to create currents through the air. It can glide on these currents for miles at a time, provided it can maintain control over the energy it produces.

Evolves from Pachirisu when you level it up knowing the move Aerial Ace.

Big bang theology: Yes, fruit monkeys! :D

fosterfossil: Squink's a cute and really rather nice name for a squid Pokémon.

YellowHat: Metaleon looks appropriately tough and sturdy for the Steel-type that it is. :) And as for Pachiride, Pachirisu should indeed evolve into a part-Flying type flying squirrel; it just makes too much sense for it not to. I still can't believe it doesn't already do so officially. And Pachiride furthermore looks like something that evolves from Pachirisu in terms of its design, so good work there. I like its name, too.

And nice gym leader there. Man, I wish I were better than I am at drawing humans... eh, maybe in time I will be. :) And I very much like the idea of that 7th gym due to its having no type specialization.

Luxray_Masta_211: Glovorist is adorable. ^^ So's Hampunch. And I like Demevy's typing a lot.

uzumakikunai: I like Psyawn's name. ^^

Copygoo: Wolatrou sounds rather intimidating. o.o Pretty cool fakemon, there.

Now for these guys again:

Plopplump (plop + plump)
Absorb Pokémon
Type: Water/Electric
Height: 2'4''
Weight: 65 lbs.
Evolution: Mermarine (Water Stone) or Coulohm (Thunderstone)
Ability: Water Absorb or Volt Absorb
Appearance: Sort of a funny little goblin/mermaid hybrid. The upper body is lemon yellow, while the lower, mermaid-tail sporting half is sky blue with a sea green fin. It has long arms with webbed, four-fingered hands. There are blue and green stripes crisscrossing its torso. It has curly antennae and large, deep blue eyes, and it wears a seemingly permanent irritated expression regardless of its actual mood. Shiny form has a dark gold upper body, with the blue elements (including the eyes) replaced with red and the green elements replaced with orange.

Mermarine (mermaid + marine)
Type: Water
Sea Pokémon
Height: 6'10''
Weight: 190 lbs.
Evolution: Plopplump => Mermarine (Water Stone)
Ability: Water Absorb
Appearance: Semi-humanoid head and upper body, with sea green skin. It has four-fingered, webbed hands like Plopplump, but they possess sharp, gleaming white claws. Its arms bear three dark blue stripes each. Its lower body extends into a very long tail with pale orange tailfins. It has narrow, acid green eyes and three long, white spines on its head. There is webbing of the same color as the tailfins between those spines. Shiny form has purple skin and yellow eyes.

Coulohm (coulomb + ohm)
Type: Electric
Current Pokémon
Height: 4'9''
Weight: 110 lbs.
Evolution: Plopplump => Coulohm (Thunderstone)
Ability: Volt Absorb
Apperance: A lemon yellow-skinned, goblinlike creature, with acid green stripes on its chest. It has pointed ears, pale orange eyes, and long, wispy antennae. Its four-fingered hands are no longer webbed, but they possess very long, white claws. Unlike Plopplump and Mermarine, it has legs rather than a mermaidlike tail, with four claws each on its feet. Its elbows and knees each bear a large, curved spike. Shiny form has dark golden skin, red stripes, and yellow eyes.

Hm... seems interesting.

I've always enjoyed creating fakémon (is it a combination of fake pokemon or fan pokemon, that's question has always bugged me...), and it seems that a lot of fan fiction writers are here to. Well, that's been why I make fakémon mostly. Actually, it was how I first go into fan fiction - I wanted to use my fakémon in a story.

But, that aside, here's a fan pokémon that a protaganist in Genesis receives as a starter.

So, here we go.

Name: Charolt (Charcoal + colt)

Type: Fire | Dark | (No Minor Element*)
Height: 4'
Weight: 600 lbs
Evolution: Charolt => Vaeflare => Stalerno
Ability: Blaze (I don't really have abilities much.)
Appearance/Information: Charolt is a colt of average height. He is colored a brick/black red/brown rust color that is hard to describe, with a small black insignia of a volcano on one of his thighs. This birthmark is traditionally thought by scientists to be a secondary umbilical cord that feeds the colt when in the womb with a supplie of fire. This occurrence is passed off as a gift of Mew. Charolt live in Hakkou (yay for fan regions!) with a relatively similar species in California and the Rocky Mountain area. They are closely related to Ponyta, but only distantly. In fact, some people (the unintelligent ones) confuse Ponyta with Charolt.

I'm rather different... I believe in a more realist pokemon world. (Hakkou = a modified Australia). Types are more relative, and their are minor elements as well... But I also think that attacks are relative, based on what a pokemon can learn, which I find is pretty popular in fan fiction. But, I hope you'll have me...
