TEAM FLASH

Welcome to Team Flash. This is a place for Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, or GIMP users. Since banners usually don't get much comments around here, we decided to create one thread where you can post your own and criqtique on other people's banners.

There are of course a few requirements for this club:

- You must have access to a graphic design program, and know the basics of it.

- You must pass the entry test, before you can post here.

To become a member, fill out this form and send it to me, Magne, John's Knight, Fallen Gaurdian, or Turbonegro via PM.

Name:
Program you use:
Best work ( a picture you think is your best ) :
Favorite work ( a picture by you which you like most ) :

When you have been approved, you will recieve a response from the person you send it to.

We will also be hosting SOTF (Signature of the Fortnight) starting in October. To become a judge for this, send me a PM. You must first be a member to become a judge.

So do we have to enter a sig too, even though we're co-founders? And is Team Flash getting a fancy bannah to go in our siggeh?

Silly Turbo [how did you get your name change <<; bribing mods?], sigs are for kids. And by "kids" I mean members who aren't co-founders.

Now comment my siggy ;-;

The text stands out too much and the lighting's good. Happy? Now gimme a soda.

I'll post one anyway. It's not my best, but I like it, even though no one else does.

No, co-founders don't have to post a sig.

I've made a label for our team, but it was done on my dad's CS2, on his laptop. When he's back from work I'll ask him to send it to me.

As for John's sig:

It has too much of a ghost look. For Halo sig I would edge more toward tech. It's blended in a bit too well, and the moon on the side bothers me.

Turbo, I can't see your sig *Bombs ImageShack*

Oh, and can someone comment on my current sig?

Um... yea >_>

Name: Real name? Username? (And I really do plan on changing my username now... >_<) I'll just type 'Sneaky' here for the sake of it.

I like this one becoz it's sexy >_> Funnily enough, it's not the one I consider my 'best work'

John's Knight: Whatever those speckles are in the sig, I don't like it. And the text seems a little close to the render. I like the moon and the light source though.

Turbo: The light source doesn't seem too good (the 'rays' look weird) and it obstructs the text. I like how the render blends with the background.

Sneaky, the rules state that you must send it to the owner or one of the co-owners to be accepted. Send it to me, and I'll approve it.

I didn't want the text to stand out, in fact, I hate it when text does, because chances are, the text will kill the sig. And the render blends in the with the BG well because it was just a stock :p

Which is why I've learnt not to place text in my signatures unless I really want to. And nice smudging then :p

I want to put in text to give a subject to a banner, and it really improves a tag if it's nice text. Latest:

Comments?

The render's blended well but the tiny grains on the right shouldn't have been so sharp. Other that that the light source is a bit too mild.
This is in my opinion, It may be different in the other's views.

Yeah, maybe I'll blur the layer a bit. Maybe I should make the light source white...
