So whats your greatest moment in comedy history? Mine is from only fools and horses when del boy fell through the bar its still funny even though i have seen it hundreds of times. Trigger makes this scene complete with his reaction after he falls its hillarious. Clip is here (http://youtube.com/watch?v=_IBgk05iL3Y) for those who havnt seen it or want to see it again.

Anything involving "The Three Stooges". Even though it's in B & W, the comedy is still present. Yes, it's slapstick, but very funny slapstick.

Simple line.

"'E's not pinin'! 'E's passed on! This parrot is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'im to the perch 'e'd be pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile! This is an ex-parrot!"

Thank you for your time.

Insomniac comedy tour in Vegas, and the joke "Retarded people don't go to heaven"

Also, almost anything on SNL, particularly Christopher Walken's Prankster skit.

Many a Monty Python sketch.

The "Meltdown" episode of Red Dwarf. I don't understand why it's considered to be an unpopular episode amongst the fans - I thought it was outstanding.

'Wax droid' Pope: "Nobody move or I splash your guts around like the communion wine!"

If only Red Dwarf hadnít gone rubbish in series 7Ö

IT Crowd; you know the one where they go to the theatre to see Gay? Any way, it's that bit in the bar when Jen turns round to ask for drinks, AND MOSS IS THE BARMAN!!! >_>

You really need to see the whole episodes, parts 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIvY4hnfdCk), 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzJ7vF0Uvo8) and 3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJwfM09rmys).

In my opinion, there is only one thing that could be considered the greatest moment in comedy history.

And that is, the debut of American Idol. Because I know not of a show, let alone a reality-style show that's as much of a joke as American Idol.

Red dwarf is classic. My dad put in one once and i was like this is gonna suck but it was awesome and i have been watching it since. I cant understand why people hated it either.

"Pedestrian Rage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQd6vlF0f2k)" on The Chaser's War on Everything.

I'm not sure it was the greatest moment in comedy, but it was pretty damn funny.
