Hey guys. This is really our fault. Don is having some troubles with his computer, and I posted last on the other thread, so I can't really refresh it to the 1st page. If you bhave already signed up, you are still in!

Here is our team: Team Legendary (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=311051)

We will accept any amount of people that is divisible by 4. If we can't get 16, we will take 8 that had already signed up. No worries, if you were not accepted you can still get the consolation prize!

Rules:-This tournament is OU and under, however we are not allowing the two
limbos
-LEAGL Hacks are allwoed. Check my sig and we will check your Pokemon!
-The tournament will begin whenever we get enough people. We will Pm you the matchups so no worries.


Battling:
-LV 100
-6 VS 6
-Standard Clauses
-If your opponent fails to respond to your PMs/method of contact, you auto-advance
-D/C's. unless there is a difficulty in the WIFI, will be a DQ

-Team Legendary will EV train a team of 6 for you. That includes any and every Pokemon on the facve of your DS. You need to provide the Pokemon though
-An Event Pokemon of your choice, including a Darkrai from the recent Event NOTE: I cannot promise having a specific event Pokemon! I can say we will have a bunch that are good. Until we know the lisst, Darkrai is the only one we know of for certain. We could get a few variations of it too.
-Breeding of any 2 Pokemon for the desired Egg moves, IVs [3 31 IVs max] and Natures

I got f'ed up that game man! Critical hit Signal Beam as a last move, flipping hell man, one crit, I couldn't fing get one CRIT! not one! So I have to lose a finals match a walk out with shite 'cos I couldn't get one critical hit!? Dusknoir's on like 10 or so HP then it goes and Ice Punhces! Ice Punch of all the f'ing elemental punches f'ing Ice Punch, Salamence had that game in the palm of his hand and he gets f'ed up, great just great.

relax man criticals are random as stated in the latest pokemon of the week anyway, i needed more ice moves due to the abundunce of dragons and besides my oppponent KOd two of my pokemon in the first round due to criticals (thank dusknoir i survived he has brilliant defense) and besides you remeber my last pokemon vespiqueen? you fought a good round anyway want to know something interesting, dusknoir is actually my elemental coverage but knows no ghost moves.

it didnt salamence uses dragon claw brings dusknoir down to 10 hp dusknoir uses ice punch.

I don't care man, that whole match was whack, every time my sweepers were ineffective, Houndoom= HP Fighting On TTar- TTar lives on like 10 or so HP (HP Fighting on Doom is meant to OHKO TTar, not too mention it was already weakened. HP Fire from Roserade on Gross= Gross lives and pwns it with Meteor Mash that never misses
Critical Hit Signal Beam on Umbreon in the last stretch- the most important part of the match, You do realise if that crit hadn't occured I would've won, because I would've got the wish for that turn and then could've easily stalled Noir and SR was up 2 cater for the Vespiquen, but no, I had to get critically hit in the last, most important part of the match.

lol, sandstorm doesnt double special defence for any type of pokemon.

sandstorm raises special defence by 1.5, and this only effects rock pokemon. Ground and steel's pokemon special defence stays exacly the same when in a sandstorm.

EDIT: Bookist, Meta has decent SpDef. No one runs SpDef EVs. Its mostly HP/Atk/Def/Speed. Any of those. If you can tell us what type of Meta it is.

lol, sandstorm doesnt double special defence for any type of pokemon.

sandstorm raises special defence by 1.5, and this only effects rock pokemon. Ground and steel's pokemon special defence stays exacly the same when in a sandstorm.

You neglected to talk about this. It wasn't just weakened as I so quaintly put it, is was just above half on health after having taken a Fire Blast. It's HP power is 69, so how it survived and pwned me is a mystery only Scooby and the gang can solve.


HP Fire from Roserade on Gross= Gross lives and pwns it with Meteor Mash that never misses

This is even funnier, Roserades HP strength is 70, I know Roserad has no Defence, my point was Meteor Mash was used 3 times successively that match.

Another thing I'm remembering, Slowking surviving Shadow Ball, I don't care how many sp.def EV's it's got, Slowking can't survive STAB Shadow Ball from something with a special attack as high as Gengars', survived on like 10 HP again.

EDIT: No I didn't have an NP up, but what was the point, I knew Fire Blast was gonna hurt whatever switched in, SR was up, Fire Blast hits, TTar's on just over half HP, so effectively, HP Fighting, which is supposed to be OHKO on TTar is reduced to like 50 dmg, pleasssseee. NP or no NP, that is whack, likewise with Roserade, I don't care how many Sp. DEF EV's you've got on that Gross, there ain't no way, Roserade is Spec'd as well!

luneth, you should do calculations before you speak honestly. Meteor Mash has an accuracy of 85, so really, in a fair ratio, meteor mash should hit 8.5 times out of 10, so 3 times in succession is nothing to complain about.

A neutral Special attack houndoom with max special attack (319) + hidden power of 70 would do between 187 and 220 damage to a tyranitar with a neutral special defence nature + an IV stat of 31.

even if houndooms nature was a + Special attack nautre and max special attack (350), hidden power fighting 70 would only do between 204 and 241 damage.

both calculations are with sandstorm active also.

Roserade on Metagross:

even if your roserade has a +sp.atk nature and max sp.atk (383) and even with hidden power fire of 70, this attack would only do between 181 and 213 damage to a metagross with a neutral sp.def nature and a sp.def IV of 31.

EDIT: I dont know what your all complaining about, and Haunter, why do you need to know the EV Spreads when both pokemon can survive the hits without ANY Sp.Def and HP EV's.

ill try again, i really have no idea now since he only has 396 sp def (with sandstorm so who knows?) (probably because fire blast was stabbed and hp wasnt)

Yes it can if its trained right. Try it out.

Maybe everyone puts all their evs in hp/attack/speed but i actually use defensive evs.

slowking can survive a STAB'd shadow ball from a MAX Sp.Atk Gengar (394) without ANY Sp.Def EV's:

394 stab'd shadow ball to a slowking with 256 sp.def (neutral nature with 31 Sp.Def IV's) = between 269 and 316 damage

then the damage would have been higher, but not much higher, if they were 10 instead of 31, then the attacks would have done what... around 20-30 more damage, it wouldnt of made a huge difference. and at the other side of the argument, what if your opponent said, what if your IV's were like 10. I also veyr much doubt they were that low (10) all competitive pokemon should have at LEAST 20+, specially in important stats such as sp.def on a t-tar and metagross as these stats can help them survive hits and therefore win the game.

-Any Non-Event Pokemon
