Choice of Game Modes

I pretty much like the first Pokemon Stadium game, where you prove your skills as a trainer. Unlike PBR, they have various game modes, involving battling. My most favorite modes are the Prime Cup, and the Gym Leader Castle. I don't own the game, but rented it, and it seems really fun and easy since they don't have the use of hold items, abilities, and dark and steel types. The Petite Cup just makes the game fun, because you use cute unevolved Pokemon in battle.

yeah they really need to make a pokemon stadium 3 (or 4 if you count that other one) in how you can rent pokemon because its too much bother making those cards in PBR. Also the mini games were fun especially the the clefairy one how the clefairy instructor hit the ones that made mistakes (im actually surprised that it didnt get changed) also the ability to play your gameboy game on the tv was fun. I say less PBR and Collosiums and more Pokemon stadiums. one more thing, is it me or did the rental movesets in PS 2 really stink?

My favorite one is the Gym Leader Castle. its so fun. but battling three trainers before the Gym Leader seems boring. The Gym Leaders make up for it becuase they are very fun to battle and my pokemons usually have the advantage, which avoids redoing any of the gyms.

Yeah, most of the rentals in Pokemon Stadium 2 had pathetic movesets. That is the reason I prefer to play Pokemon Stadium. If I play Pokemon Stadium 2, I often find myself playing the Challenge Cup, because, even though I can't choose my Pokemon, I'll still have good movesets. Pokemon Stadium had good movesets on their rentals though.

I loved the different modes. My favorite was the Gym Leader Castle, as I prefer the fact that the bosses already have a personality, and the fact that its shorter. I only problem with the Gym Leader Castle is that you can't get continues.

i also loved gym leader castle but unfortunately ive never gotten past giovani with the rentals, although i havent actually tried in years, i really wish theyd make the next pokemon game either onto wii so you can play with the whole 3D dealy or they make the handheld game 3D. They should also add a pokemon statdium like feature to it where you can set the move sets of all of the rental pokemon. thatd be sweet.

^Yeah, I so badly want a game like that. Unfortunately, knowing Nintendo's need to try new things all the time, I don't think we'll ever see a game with the same level of fun and difficulty as Pokemon Stadium ever again.

I've had both the Pokemon Stadium games for years, and I play them very frequently. Yet, I'm not even halfway through either of the games. On the other hand, I can complete the handheld series of games in a matter of days.
