Hey! I'm a long time pokemon fan and i find pokemon more than what it is. I've played since i was 6 and i always strive to complete the game. I finnished the dex on diamond, except for mew, celebi, darkrai, ect. cuz we don't get much events in Australia. I hobby is to collect shiny pokemon but i'm not that good of a chainer. i've bought almost all the pokemon rpg games and have alot of fun playing them too.

But i kinda have an addiction to pokemon. I've been paying so much attention to it that i lose focus of the truely precious things in life; like triganometry, and I-ons. My marks slowly slip in school but i praise pokemon for my creativity in English classes. i am often seen comparing real life situations to pokemon, and how simple they can be fixed. *coughruncough*

I also don't really understand how that picture thingy under your name on a reply works. I have a pic of Oak and 2 poke's and i don't know how to change it...he just keeps staring at me with that smirk on his face...

Well, thats me in a nutshell. I'm experianced, i oppose to hacks (but cloning is just coinsidential manipulation of the game), i enjoy learning, and i...in a way...Am kinda noobish!

Plz, feel free to comment on my persona:)

Hi, welcome to serebii forums! Edit: Wait, you've been here quite a while...Hi anyway!

If you're trying to complete your dex, the trading forums here are a very good place to get those last few pokes. My dex is only just over 420, so you've beaten me there XD
Post plenty, keep up with the rules and you'll have a good time here!

Personally I don't find trigonometry particularly important in life, but I am anti-maths =P But do make sure to try and get a good balance betweenn your life and the stuff you do for fun; so that you can look back one day without any regrets about how you managed your time =D I'm being a bit of a hypocrite really, seeing as I spend far more time on these forums than I should!

Have fun,
Pirate

Thanks! i also have a few questions about how to edit your display pic.
#1: how do you select the custom avitar option?
#2: what's the deal with the pic under your name, and if possible, how can you change it?
and lastly, #3: why do some people have a shiny celebi, and some have a normal one next to their name?

Welcome. It is worthwhile reading through the Newbie Help & FAQ (http://serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=292404) thread if you have any questions, as they will likely be answered there. If they aren't, then you can also post your question/s in the same thread to be answered. Yes, lots of words, but they help =P

1) Serebiiforums does not allow custom avatars for normal members. Only moderators are allowed to use these.

2) The picture is your user rank, which is tied to your postcount. This will change automatically as you make more posts. You can click here (http://serebiiforums.com/showpost.php?p=7301341&postcount=4) to see a list of all of the current user ranks.
It doesn't mean anything significant beyond that, however, so you need not worry about it.

3) The normal/Shiny Celebi indicates if the person is online now or not. The normal one is shown when they are online, and the Shiny one is shown when they are offline.
Different forum skins have different Pokémon icons representing this, but you can find out easily what it means by hovering your cursor over this icon.

Greetings! And welcome to SPPF! Make sure you have read the rules (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?p=4220622; in case you didn't know) and we'll enjoy having you here!

There's also another one, which says that the user is invisible.

And this is it: http://www.serebiiforums.com/images/statusicon/user_invisible.gif; at least on the regular SPPF v9 skin.

Edit: fhqwhgads has a Pokemon Champion rank.

I also have a problem with posts. i don't know how to post a pic. my pic i want to post is on my USB, but when i post a reply, in the link where you "insert image", it asks for a web adress. Am i wrong? I just want to create my own sig.
p.s: if you know someone who specializes in sprites and banners, please tell me. y'know, i'm still anoob here -_-

To use or show a picture on any forum you gotta
;link here; or use the yellow box when you post and add the link to the image and it will show, like:
http://serebiiforums.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif as an example

Hey, Alexiel. Check the properties of my broken 'jpeg'. i typed 'E' cuz the image is in my USB. What's wrong with the structure?

If you want to post your images in a thread, Private Messages or in Profile Visitor Messages, then you must first upload them to an image hosting website. These are a few you could use -

Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/)
******* (http://*******.com/)
Imageshack (http://imageshack.us/)

You may have to make an account with them first, but it is free, of course. After you have uploaded the image from your computer/portable storage device to one of the given sites, you can then copy and paste it's IMG code or URL to display it here(you'll find the code on the page of the uploaded item).
http://i34.*******.com/2qve1dy.jpgAs an example, this is the IMG code for this image: http://i34.*******.com/2qve1dy.jpg

You can also directly link the image instead: http://i34.*******.com/2qve1dy.jpg
If posting very large images, it might be best to directly link them :-)
