The ranking system, a new input to the Water Club. This system is all about getting higher ranks for the more effort you put into the club. When you get enough points, you can pick what you want for your rank. Here is how you get points:

Recruitment: Bringing a friend to the club and having them join counts as this. Remember, in the joining post they must put that you recruited them. This counts as 15 points.
Topics: Creating a topic will count as this, giving you 5 points.
Friend Code: Posting your Friend Code, gives you 10 points. Note: Only one per Game
More will be added if needed.

As for the ranks, here is how this works:

Kyogre, duh. Alright, alright. Mudkip then. Not only because it's an epic Pokemon, but it evolves into Swampert which is the strongest evolved Water Pokemon, And that's a fact. Well Gyarados may be just as strong, but who picks Magikarp as starter except for the lulz?
Empoleon's cool too. Steel is becoming one of my favorite types now.

so you would start off with a magickarp?

no way not for me ill start off with an Febass mosty a female one. cause i would love to have a Milotic at the start of all my adventures. Milotic to me is the most beautiful water pokemon alive yet.

kirapwns

but would the king be Kyogre and the prince is Manaphy?

kirapwns

Not technically, Manaphy is the prince.
But Gyrados should seriously be the king of all-water types. He just fits in there, Kyogre is just a legendary water type. 'ya get what I'm talking about? lol

yeah, i get you.lol ok the only reason i agree with you is cause ofthe pokemon episode after ash got his 3rd gym badge they were on the SS.Ane and it sunk after that when they surfaced james kicked hid magikarp into evolving and it started to do dragon dance and then it called other gyrados.

(when misty told the fisherman story about gyrados)

Edit: ^that was really cool^. =D

kirapwns
6th December 2008, 7:45 PM
lol Yeah, that was a good episode. But also, Gyrados has a famous shiny. The red gyrados above Mahogany Town I think is what it was. Gyrados has to be one of my favorite water-types.

New topic! Which of the four starters do you think would win on a free-for-all fight with each other?
I gotta say either Totodile or Squirtle. They'd equal out pretty far.

Wow.... A Water Type Club. I've loved the Water Type ever since I got that Squirtle you get from Officer Jenny in Vermilion in Pokémon. I still don't know how I managed to level it up to the same level as Pikachu.

What is your favorite Water-Type pokemon?
Even if my avatar doesn't exactly show it, my favourite is Totodile. He's really cute!

(I hope this is better now)

Mr. E Goods

If you could have any water pokemon as a starter, which one would you pick?
I would want a Feebas to start off with because it evolves into Milotic, which is one of my favourite water type pokemon because of how powerful it is and beautiful. But since Feebas is really weak, as my 2nd pick I might decide between Piplup and Wailmer and their evos are really powerful as well.
Which of the four starters do you think would win on a free-for-all fight with each other?
out of which evo??
oh well l will do them all:
Out of Squirtle, Totodile, Mudkip and Piplup I would be going for Piplup but l think Totodile might win.
Out of wartortle, Croconaw, Marshtomp and Prinplup mabe Wartortle or Prinplup
Out of Blastoise, Feraligatr, Swampert and Empoleon probably Empoleon or Swampert.

Which of the four starters do you think would win on a free-for-all fight with each other?

I would have to say ether Todadile or Mudkip, the both have a higher base attack that the other two, but In the long run Todadile would win only on it's higher base defense. ;196;

Hmmm...
A Free for all fight would be close. Piplup and Mudkip would go out first, because Toto has really high Attack, and would beat them easily. Squirtle would survive because of its Defense. I'd say Squirtle would win, because he would take Totodile's hits easily, and reply with a few Hydro Pumps, which would tear through Totodile's Defense.

This is a very good question. I really like the colour blue, and most Water Types are blue. I'm a good swimmer, and enjoy swimming, which makes me sort of feel how a Water Pokémon would (when I mess around, rather than train). Another reason is that I used to like being better than my sister - who likes the Fire Type. I wanted to have a better type, so I chose Water. Obviously, that made me like it. When I got Pokémon Gold, I preferred Totodile to the other two, so I used that. These are the reasons I like the Water Type.

Yay im now a moderater of this club and it looks like that CyberBlastoise is the first member I will accept: CyberBlastoise is accepted, and so is Zorg.

Oh and in the first post it says that a water tournament will be held after we have 10 members, well is that tournament Wi-Fi battling or something else??

Mr. E Goods: They both have strikes now. They one-lined before answering the topic, and thats against the rules. Make sure you look for thinks like that. I'll strike them. [Strikes Noted]
And yes, Wi-Fi battle for tournament. We have enough, I'll post it soon.

Please may I join?

What is your favorite Water-Type pokemon? Blastoise because i like turtles and he was my first end evo pokemon...

Why is water your favorite? Well, because i love water in general. I love to swim and love rain. I guess i adopted this into my pokemon types as well.

Who's your favorite trainer that has a water pokemon? Misty no other doubt
If you could have any water pokemon as a starter, which one would you pick? Well, I'd pick Blastoise but seeing that he already is a starter....I would pick...something no one would ever pick...Shellder...

Which of the four starters do you think would win on a free-for-all fight with each other? I would say Squirtle...
I was told to repost this. And also..

New Topic: If you could create a new legendary water type...what would it look like and what would its type be if it had a secondary type?
For me, it would be Water/Fire. It would look like a bluish-aqua fish with a hump on its back representing a volcano.

My favorite water type is Kingdra because he only has 1 single wweakness and you need powerful moves to put him down.

Can I join? I didn't see the Red text because I am colourblind. I have always liked water types because In the games they can use ice moves to kill Grass types.

Yes, Kyogre is the ONLY legendary pokemon, besides Arcanine, allowed in the tournament. As for types, I'd suggest not being able to use Electric types. Hmm.... Every person who wants into the tournament, please suggest if electric types should be allowed! ^.^

@ Kirapwns

well let me put it short and simple for as i think what pokemon should be allowed in the tournament.

Banned water type pokemon :

Palkia
Manaphy
Phione

all other pokemon with water in its typ'ing should be allowed for this tournament

for example of a team that i think should be allowed for this tournament

Suicune
Lanturn<-- isnt pure water but is half water
Kyogre
Ludicolo <--Same
Kingdra <-- Same
Lapras <--Same

and a team that i think shouldnt be allowed for this tournament

Ludicolo
Jolteon <-- Not water at all
Metagross <-- Not water at all
Gyrados
Kingdra
Snorlax <-- Not water at all

what do you think Kirapwns?

i said the team isnt allowed because it has pokemon that are not even water type's. Ludicolo, Kingdra, and Gyrados are allowed but not if the team has pokemon like Snorlax or Metagross who dont have a water typing.

and no absol shouldnt be allowed cause its a dark type. it has no water in its typing at all. also i want everyone to remember this is not my tournament this is Kirapwns, he makes the rules not me.

but i do like JaimeGreenan's Idea by atleast having 1 pokemon that isnt water at all in the team. so for example Absol would be the only non-water allowed in your team. but it all comes down to how Kirapwns thinks of it. all im doing for this tournament is providing the first place prize.

I would want a dragon legendary. It's type would be water/dragon and it's colour would be crystal blue. It would live in a cave full of crystals hidden on the edge on an ocean. It's moves would be Dragon claw, dive, water pulse and ice beam.

He posted a joining post, which was one lining and he got a strike for that. After that, he posted a topic while he wasn't in the club, gaining his 2nd strike. And still not posting a joining post after I told him he should, he posted another topic giving him his 3rd strike.

If you were a Water type gym leader what pokemon would you have, what would your badge be called and what city would you be in? (make up a city)

I'd hold the Waterfall badge, residing in Blue Bell City.

My team would be (in order):
Wooper
Wartortle
Lapras
Gyrados

Who's your favorite trainer that has a water pokemon?
Misty, she's my most favorite trainer.

If you could have any water pokemon as a starter, which one would you pick?
Hmmm, tough choice, I can't choose one over lot's of Water Pokemon. Maybe I'll choose Spheal since it evolves into a Water/Ice type.

Which of the four starters do you think would win on a free-for-all fight with each other?
Empoleon, for it has a great resistance.

We meant first evolution starters. hehe, thats okay though. ^.^

New topic! Do you think some of the 'forgotten' water pokemon should be more apparent than they usually are now?
I really do. Lapras, Tentacruel, and the others should really have a bigger part. I didn't even run into one Lapras in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. :(

Tentacruel was much stronger than I thought it would be when I used one. Lapras is amazing, but you don't see one in Ruby or Sapphire, which is annoying. Seaking also surprised me. Lanturn was the reason I got through Winona's Gym. They really should be much more apparent. They have a whole lot of potential not seen by many people.

Oh, well then I made the same mistake that he made. ^_^; In that case, I think Suirtle would win because he has better defenses than the rest. (while still having decent attack)

Do you think some of the 'forgotten' water pokemon should be more apparent than they usually are now?
Absolutely! There are lots of great water Pokemon out there that should be seen of more.
A few ones that I think of especially are Horsea, Lapras (even though they are supposed to be rare), Qwilfish, Corsola Remoraid, Lotad, Clamperl, and Relicanth. I hardly ever see these Pokemon in-game or their evos (for the ones that have some) in competitive battling... =/

Yes, I do agree that they should be more apparent. I suppose the reason why they are overlooked though is because of some of the stronger and faster water types like Floatzel and Palkia.

Yes they should. pokemon like Cloyster, Quilfish and Seaking are three water type pokemon that most people usually forget exist : ( I even think the water type starters should be found in certain area in the wild in the games after you beat the Elete 4, but they would have to be realy rare of course.

I would be in a city called Shellshore City
My pokemon in my team would be:
empoleon
milotic
wailord
Gastroden
Ludicolo
Starmie
And my badge would be Shell Badge.
A lot of people asked if this team is too hard to defeat. I made 6 pokemon and all of them full evos because like in Platinum, which I really want, these would be my pokemon in Top Trainer Cafe or whatever it is called, where you re-verse the gym leaders with much more powerful pokemon. I suppose I should have mentioned that. Well then before I have my Top Trainer Cafe team I would have Prinplup, Starmie, Wailmer and Lombre and I would be about the third gym leader.

That reminds me people who havent seen you should go here:http://www.serebii.net/platinum/toptrainercafe.shtml to look at the gym leaders pokemon in Top Trainer Cafe

Nice topic, CyberBlastoise! (uh, could I just call you CB? XD)

If you could create a new water-type move, what would it be called and how exactly would it work in both the games and the anime?
I'd make a move called Boiling Water.
In games: It's base power would be 80, it's accuracy would be 100, and it would have a 30% chance of burning the target.

In anime: (I don't really watch the anime, so please bear with me) The user focuses the heat within its body and channels it into a powerful and very hot spray of water which could melt ice with ease.

I realized I didn't answer my own topic on my last post...also yeah you can call me CB, Hydro.

If you could create a new water-type move, what would it be called and how exactly would it work in both the games and the anime?

It would be called Tsunami. In games...Attack: 90, Accuracy 95, it attacks the two opposing targets and can attack any dived Pokemon.

In the anime, the pokemon first concentrates the water above its head in a spherical position, much similar to that of Water Pulse. Then the sphere lands onto the ground and explodes toward the opponent(s). Finally the wave is caused and then hits the opponent(s). Once it gets above the enemy(s) the wave crashes down causing huge amounts of damage.

Probably something along the title of "Fierce Pressure".

Anime Wise: It'd blast the opponents pokemon away till it KO'd.

Well, I myself love all water-types, but if I had to pick a least favorite, it would have to be Surskit. It is pretty weak compared to the rest of the pokemon, plus I don't like Water Spiders too well. However, that does not mean that I don't love it. I just love it less than the rest.

I would remake Phione so that way it wouldn't be necessarily overshadowed by Manaphy.

Mr. E Goods

Which is your least favorite Water-type Pokemon? (if any)
From my point of view Luvdisk is only pointless in the games, in the Anime it can be a really good battler and because it is small and really fast it can be really strategic. An example of this is in Anime when Juan's Luvdisk was battling Ash's Grovyle and Luvdisk won confusing it with its speed and and battering it with water pulse and other moves. So for me my least favourite water pokemon would probably be Marshtomp, for me the only word to discribe it is UGLY!.

If you could create a new water-type move, what would it be called and how exactly would it work in both the games and the anime?

Name: Hydro Blaster
power:100

I have to agree with CB on this. Phione is just like a baby Pokemon of Manaphy that can't evolve. It has no unique moves or traits that make it 'different' from Manaphy. I mean, what is really the point of Phione? =/

kirapwns
20th December 2008, 2:15 AM
I think there is only one reason why Phione is in Pokemon and thats just to have a baby pokemon for Manaphy, since other Legendaries don't have any baby evo's.

And does the ranking system count towards the Mods of this club seeing as we are basically already ranked?

new topic: What non water types do you think should be water type and what water types do you think should not be water types/
Well i think Azuril should definately be a water type, I has always amazed me that Azurill never became a water type pokemon and was Normal type instead, I mean it looks water type, It lives in a water type environment, It learns water type moves and It's evos are water type and not Normal. As for pokemon that should not be water type, for me none I think all the pokemon that already are water types shouldnt change.

Hmm, I know that you said it'd be a hassel to give members a point per post, so I have a slightly different idea. - What about giving a member 50(or less) points for each 100 posts they make in the club?

I do have a competitive team of water Pokemon, but I'll just list some of my favorites for a team so that I don't give anything away for the tournament.

-Blastoise
-Sharpedo
-Octillery
-Azumarill
-Poliwrath

I want to join, guess I never noticed this club and is almost one month old.

Anyways,....

What is your favorite Water-Type pokemon?
I'm stuck between Vaporeon, Starmie, and Lapras, they're all so cute.

Why is water your favorite?

It's got a cool and relaxed feeling, it's so serene. And looks mysterious, plus it's blue!!! XDD joke of course.

Who's your favorite trainer that has a water pokemon?
Probably May or Misty, Squirtle and Starmie are awesome in contests and battles respectively.

If you could have any water pokemon as a starter, which one would you pick?
Lapras, I wouldn't have to pay to ride a boat. Or any other cute pokemon, that can learn Ice and Water and Electric attacks, for appeals in contests.

Which of the four starters do you think would win on a free-for-all fight with each other?
Piplup-Too weak when compared against them
Totodile- Good Attack, but really dont like it's attacks, too basic, except
Mudkip- Maybe, Awesome STAB when evolved
Squirtle- Good Defensively, Redundant offensively
I dont get it though, are we talking first stage or finals?
If Final Evos, definitely Swampert
If First, Mudkip or Totodile

If you could create a new legendary water type...what would it look like and what would its type be if it had a secondary type?

Definitely a Dolphin or a Giant Tortoise, that's as big as an Island, not the dolphin <--. Dolphin would have a Dark secondary type, and HIgh Speed and attack, definetly good for those stupid Psychics and Ghosts in Uber, it would have ancient markings on it.

If you were a Water type gym leader what pokemon would you have, what would your badge be called and what city would you be in? (make up a city)
I'd be the 7th Gym, in Mizu(Japanese for water) City. I would have have a Gyarados first, or Milotic, then Starmie or Floatzel, then Vaporeon, then Lanturn, Ludicolo, then Sharpedo.

Do you think some of the 'forgotten' water pokemon should be more apparent than they usually are now?

Nah, not really.

If you could create a new water-type move, what would it be called and how exactly would it work in both the games and the anime?
Dehydrate- 80 base power move perfect accuracy, that damges enemies with more health than lower ones, absorb it and heals oneself, Hah! take that Blissey.

Which is your least favorite Water-type Pokemon? (if any)
used to be Magikarp, but now that Platinum's out, and BounceKarp's running everwhere and pwning everything, I've changed it to Luvdisc.

Which water legendary would you remake if you could?

Manaphy, no questions asked, he shames Palkia and Kyogre in Uber.

What non water types do you think should be water type and what water types do you think should not be water types?
Turtwig/ Shuckle
----
None really

If you could make a team with only Water types, what might it be?
Lanturn
Ludicolo
Vaporeon
Swampert
Luvdisc XD Starmie
Gyarados/ Milotic

I myself would love to see Shellder or Cloyster in their teams. I know Jessie had a Shellder at one point, but it was for a very short while.

If you made a water-type gym, what kind of traps/mazes/whatever you can think of would it have?

Well my gym would be full of water. The trainer would have to use surf, dive, whirlpool, and waterfall to complete the gym. The only thing about this is that if it was game based you can't use all of these until you get all the badges. And if it was manga based(Pokemon Special) it would have replace another existing water Pokemon and there's only two.

Phione, but eventually leaves, or Wailmer... like Lapras, used for transport

Out of the Water Pokémon, which one do you think has the coolest Shiny?
Hmmm, Palkia?

If you made a water-type gym, what kind of traps/mazes/whatever you can think of would it have?
Bring 6 pokemon to the entrance, btw, it's sorta like a water park size area, it's like uh, an amazing race and it's being timed, about 3 mins. clues will be given, about three, but there are rare items lying around, and you will have to choose, whether, rare items, o0r badge, ( Oh you can only take the challenge once, if you have failed, then sorry, but if you get defeated by the gym leader, you will arrive in front of him again, until you beat him )if you get pass the 1st minute w/o getting to the location, item etc. 2 Pokemon will be taken away from you, if you arrive 1st before the time, only one pokemon will be taken away from you, and if you have arrive to the last location, where the leader is, if you didn't pass all the times, you have 0 pkmn= leader won by default, if you have passed all the times, then you have a 3 on 3 pokemon battle
In your opinion, who do you think the most popular Water Pokemon is?
Metagame wise- UU- Omastar
OU- Swampert
Uber- Kyogre

anime wise, Squirtle or Piplup, though Piplup has an association against it.

If you jumble around the order of when you get HM's I would have you surf, Dive, climb waterfalls and since Wirlpool became a TM I still think it should be used to travel across wirlpools, so I would have wirlpools as well.

Out of the Water Pokémon, which one do you think has the coolest Shiny?
Gyarados's shiny is cool but Vaporeon's beats it. Wailord and Lanturn's shinies are great and Gorebyss and Huntail rock. Luvdisk looks better in yellow. Piplup and Empoleon look really good as well.

Happy New Year to everyone!!!

If you made a water-type gym, what kind of traps/mazes/whatever you can think of would it have?

For me it would work like this. First you enter into a gym and nothing is in there but a small pond with dark blue water. You dive into it (assuming you have the two proper HMs of course) and find that it is a huge maze. Like Flannery's gym in Hoenn, movement requires constant rising and diving. Before you can get to the Gym Leader though, you must also find four switches that opens up a valve in front of the leader. Then you go up to battle him...

Also, I noticed that I have a Rank up now. May I have the Phione rank Kira?

Finally New Topic: Which Bubblebeam would you prefer to see more often, the small yet fast kind like Suicune used in 4ever, or the bigger variety like what Corphish and Piplup currently use?

For me, it would definitely be the smaller ones, the reason is that it just looks cooler and because they show a more bluish tint than a rainbow tint.

Hey, can I join? Water pkmn are one of my favorite types ever. Never had a team without atleast one since r/b/y. Wasn't sure exactly if there was a password or something to use to get in, so forgive me if i missed it and I'll try again in a few days. I'll answer topics, though!

What is your favorite Water-Type pokemon?

Milotic is my very favorite, but vaporeon is a close second!

Why is water your favorite?

Most have good offense and defense stats. Also, I feel the most at home when I'm around water.

Who's your favorite trainer that has a water pokemon?

I don't watch the anime anymore, so if it means by anime I haven't watched since Misty was around. Anyway, even if I did Misty would still be my favorite.

If you could have any water pokemon as a starter, which one would you pick?

Probly Vaporeon, just cuz it seems to fit the idea of starter better than Milotic does.

Which of the four starters do you think would win on a free-for-all fight with each other?

I think swampert, though blastoise and feraligatr would give it a good fight. With the steel type Empoleon wouldn't stand a chance, especially against swampert.

If you could create a new legendary water type...what would it look like and what would
its type be if it had a secondary type?

I about have the creativity of a post, so I'm not sure. I'de just give Lugia a water type instead of psychic. It lives in the whirlpool islands, and does all that stuff with storms and other water stuff. Just seems like it should be part water type.

If you were a Water type gym leader what pokemon would you have, what would your
badge be called and what city would you be in? (make up a city)

Milotic, Swampert, Gyaradose, Feraligatr, Lanturn, and Vaporeon

Do you think some of the 'forgotten' water pokemon should be more apparent than they
usually are now?

Seadra, and seaking. Never see them anywhere.

If you could create a new water-type move, what would it be called and how exactly
would it work in both the games and the anime?

Anime... That was 4EVER ago lol. Maybe something like Tsunami. It would work sorta like surf, but it would sweep the enemy off the stage, whirlwind/roar style. Not sure how it would work out of battle or in anime.

Which is your least favorite Water-type Pokemon? (if any)

The goldeen family. Idk why, I just don't like them.

Which water legendary would you remake if you could?

None, I would just give Lugia a water type instead of psychic.

What non water types do you think should be water type and what water types do you
think should not be water types?

That's sorta confusing, I really can't think of any right now besides Lugia. But yeah, I think I've said that like 3 or 4 times now.

If you could make a team with only Water types, what might it be?

I thought I was supposed to do that with the gym leader thing? Anyway, I guess it'd be like this: Milotic, Swampert, Gyaradose, Feraligatr, Lanturn, and Vaporeon

Which water types do you believe should be added to the anime in some of the main
characters' teams? (besides the ones that they already have)

Milotic, and vaporeon. If it has continued with the same trend it did 6yrs ago, everyone uses mostly things low on their evolutionary chains, so no one uses either of those, right?

In your opinion, who do you think the most popular Water Pokemon is?

Squirtle, or Piplup. Idk if squirtle is in the anime still but I'm almost positive piplup is. That gets it more publicity than any other water type.

Out of the Water pokemon, which one do you think has the coolest Shiny?

I love Milotics shiny form. The gold looks good on it.

If you made a water-type gym, what kind of traps/mazes/whatever you can think of
would it have?

It would consist alot of diving and surfing. Maybe I'de be like a secret optional gym with super high lvl pkmn lol. After going through the whole game/whatever and getting all the tm's, you would come to my town, only by a special ticket that you might get from an event or something. Then, after you got to my gym, you'de start off just on a platform in a big room full of water with a deep spot in the middle. You'de dive in the middle, and continue to dive through rooms (fighting my little trainer junkie/minion ppl along the way). Down diving there would be kind of a maze type thing, with whirlpools in your way that you'de have to get rid of. You'de then have to go through and find 3 trainer that each have a part of a key to the room where i am. After you had the 3 parts, you find my door, and then it's just a long underwater hallway to place where you can go up. You would come up out in the ocean in front of an island (kinda newmoon/crescent style)
where I would be waiting.

Oh, how I hait this dumb internet service... >_< Anyone ever heard of AO"HELL"?

Out of the Water pokemon, which one do you think has the coolest Shiny?
Though Gyarados and Omastar both have sweet shiny forms, I'd say Feraligatr takes the cake! The blue scales on his back look awesome with his body color!

Which water types do you believe should be added to the anime in some of the main characters' teams? (besides the ones that they already have)
Well, I don't really watch the anime, but I guess Omanyte/Omastar would be pretty cool to see in a trainer battle. =)

In your opinion, who do you think the most popular Water Pokemon is?
Mudkip by far. (where do you think the saying "i liek mudkipz" came from?) I just can't understand why it is so overly popular. =/

If you made a water-type gym, what kind of traps/mazes/whatever you can think of would it have?
Hm, that's a tough one... My gym would have water filling the room so that a trainer would need the TM Surf to get across. It would also have 4 sets of whirl pools that'd be blocking the way to the gym leader. In order to get past each set, the trainer would have to answer a certain question involving Water-type Pokemon (like matching the Pokedex entry to the correct water Pokemon, stating which is the fastest water Pokemon, matching the "cry" to the correct water Pokemon, etc.). - If he/she guesses incorrectly, then he/she has to battle a gym trainer. Either way, the whirl pool is removed afterward.
Yeah, I know it's kinda like Blaine's gym, but I like the idea anyway. =P

I dunno. I haven't seen the new ones, so I have to go with suicunes.

Speaking of suicune, was anyone else slightly surprised/freaked out with suicune in 4th gen? It used to be my favorite, but its eyes freak me out now! I know it had red eyes in the anime, but it looks weird to me for them to be just completely red.

I like the smaller bubblebeam better.

And welcome to the club Raikou fan, and to Kira, I like the shiny form of Piplup and Empoleon better than the original form because the shiny form is a little lighter which suits Piplup and Empoleon more, at least thats my opinion.

Hey, I love a lot of water typed pokemon! Water and poison are my 2 favorite types!
What is your favorite Water-Type pokemon?
Oo, can I list a few? I guess if I had to pick one, it would be...Seadra. But I also really like Milotic, Wingull, Marshtomp, Wartortle, Golduck, Lapras, Buizel, Seaking and several others :D
Why is water your favorite?
I like the looks of all the water pokes, mostly.
Who's your favorite trainer that has a water pokemon?
Pike Queen Lucy!
If you could have any water pokemon as a starter, which one would you pick?
Wingull, Buizel or Psyduck
Which of the four starters do you think would win on a free-for-all fight with each other?
Prolly Mudkip
If you could create a new legendary water type...what would it look like and what would its type be if it had a secondary type?
A HUGE water snake, that is teal with purple stripes. Poison, lol.
If you were a Water type gym leader what pokemon would you have, what would your badge be called and what city would you be in? (make up a city)
Seadra, Wartortle, Laturn and Milotic. Flow bagde [XD] and it's on Tortuga Island :D
Do you think some of the 'forgotten' water pokemon should be more apparent than they usually are now?
Yes! Especially like, all of my favorite ones, lol.
If you could create a new water-type move, what would it be called and how exactly would it work in both the games and the anime?

Maelstrom
In like D/P, it would have like 120 power, 70 accuracy and would trap the opponent and hurt them each turn [like magma storm] and in the anime, I suppose it would make a huge maelstrom in the arena and trap the opponent?
Which is your least favorite Water-type Pokemon? (if any)
Quagsire, I'm just sick of seeing it lol.
Which water legendary would you remake if you could?
Manaphy...not much of a fighter, if u ask me..
What non water types do you think should be water type and what water types do you think should not be water types?
None, really..
If you could make a team with only Water types, what might it be?
For like competitive battling?
Milotic, Gyrados, Kingdra, Swampert, Slowpoke, Ludicolo
Which water types do you believe should be added to the anime in some of the main characters' teams? (besides the ones that they already have)
I think someone, like maybe Wallace, should have a really strong Wingull:p
In your opinion, who do you think the most popular Water Pokemon is?
Gyrados
Out of the Water pokemon, which one do you think has the coolest Shiny?
Ferliagatr's, or maybe Gorebyss's
If you made a water-type gym, what kind of traps/mazes/whatever you can think of would it have?
It would have a long river with a bunch of whirlpools that each forced you to go out on little tributaries and stuff
Which Bubblebeam would you prefer to see more often, the small yet fast kind like Suicune used in 4ever, or the bigger variety like what Corphish and Piplup currently use?

Yeah, it's Starmie, Lapras, and Vaporeon, but not in one team, we don't want overlapping types.

We know that your favorite Water-type pokemon is your favorite type, but how did it become one of your favorite type in the first place?
The reason for my liking of Water-types all started with Squirtle in R/B/Y. You see, only three of us really liked Pokemon at the time, so we each chose the starter we thought was the coolest. That was when our family 'type triangle' was born - After a while I ended up sticking with Water-types in general, my older brother with Grass-types, and my younger brother with Fire-types. So yeah, there's not that much to it really...

Oh and my older sister got Photoshop as a late Christmas present. So yeah, I just might be able to try my luck at making a userbar or two for the club. =)

That's a hard choice, but I say that either Kingdra or Ludicolo would win. Kingdra because he has balanced stats and he's only weak to one type and Ludicolo because he has access to Grass attacks and he's only weak to Flying and Bug. I'm speaking in competitive battling terms, BTW.

Either Ludicolo, Lanturn, or Milotic. Ludicolo, like hydro king said, is only weak to bug and flying types, last I checked not many other water types can learn either of those. Lanturn because it has access to so many electric type attacks, could easily take out most other water types. And Milotic has very high defense. That defense along with mirror coat and HP electric would be very tough for most other water types.

Vaporeon, he's gonna absorb all those Water attacks, has enough SpD for taking T-bolts and has a healing move. Second would be, Starmie, but a lot less fragile, or Gyarados, just very prone to Lapras, Starmie, Lanturn etc.

I think it's about time we had a new topic:

Which Water-type Pokemon (in particular) do you think should have stat changes/boosts in the 5th gen?
1. Blastoise: I'd say he deserves more Sp.Atk and Sp.Def. It'd sure make him stand out more amongst other Pokemon.
2. Golduck: Could use a bit more Sp.Atk and a little less Atk.
3. Luvdisc: Self-explanatory. XD
4. Relicanth: More Def and/or Sp.Def couldn't hurt.
5. Lumineon: Any Sp.Atk and/or Speed upgrade would be greatly appreciated.
6. Phione: Any kind of stat upgrades (or new moves for that matter) that'd make him different from Manaphy would work fine.

Phione: It definitely needs to have some boost, as it is too overshadowed by Manaphy.

That's all I can really think of currently. Sorry.

im back from Queensland so it is time to catch up from what i missed.

If there was an all out water type pokemon tournament (no ubers), who would do you think would win?
I think wailord would win because of how big it is it could crush most pokemon, cuase of how whales leap out of the water and all that. also its moves would easily sweep and water type pokemon or any pokemon for that matter.

Phione should have a bit more SpA and defense
Wailord should have higher defensive stats
Luvdisc should have more everything

If you could be any water type pokemon in the world what would it be?
definatly Kyogre cause its my favourite water type legendary.

It would be awesome if they adjusted Wailord's stats, seriously, he's hhuge yet dies like a Skitty. Also no need to tell you that they can breed XDD

Blastoise needs up in Def and Spa. dramatically if he wanna crosses borderline over to OU.

Starmie, needs more Sp. Att.

On another note the water pkmn who has the highest Sp Att. is Empoleon, 118? or was it 117, kinda low for a Water type, don't you think?

It'll definitely be Luvdisc! Ok, I haven't check out all their stats, but Luvdisc is the one I'm worried about.

Luvdisc. I've never used it, and I don't plan to. But all its stats are so pathetic. The poor thing needs a stat boost and maybe an evolution. Anything to make it not quite so bad.

I noticed that there was a lot of hate on Luvdisc...so I decided that it deserved a topic of it's own...well sort of...

New Topic: If you could create an evolution for Luvdisc, what would its name be, what would it look like, what ability(s) would it have, and what second type would it be (if any)?

For me, I think that Luvdisc's evolved form would be called Cyuplate. It would look like a heart much like Luvdisc, but it would have two angelic silver wings. It would also be turned so that the flat is upward instead of sideways. It's ability would be Snipe. It's second type if not obvious is Flying.

I kind of like Luvdisc but if i made its evo it would be called Luvkiss and it would be a heart, sideways just like Luvdisc but it would have small white wings shaped a little like fins. just like Hippowdon Luvkiss has a different colour for its different gender, so a male Luvkiss would be red and a female Luvkiss would be a soft pink. It's type would be Water/psychic (though it has wings it can't fly, it just leaps out of the water) the reason for the psychic type is because Luvdic and Luvkiss are mysterious just like Starmie, and Luvkiss will be able to learn confusion, confuse ray and at a higher level psychic. Livdisc will evolve at level 35. And finally its ability would be swift swim or Cute Charm.

it can evolve using dawn stone to Luvkiss maybe a good name like Mr. E Goods said..(sorry copying...) and I think it will look like a heart balloon with white wings, it is water/psycic (sorry same again... I already think that type but other people already write it) but it can do flying attacks and can fly.
then it can evolve with a dusk stone to Brove (broken heart) the colour is dark, and the wings are black. It will be dark/ground but still can do water attacks... and it also can fly.

Well, I think I can answer this. It's because they are the only ones whose "evolved" form is a basic pokemon.

Also, Kira may I have a Shellder for my rank now as I have 45 points I believe.
