sos if there is a thread already open for this, but still new to these forums.

Just trying to find out the best place to level a pokemon to a high level. I seem to use the elite 4 mainly, but wouldnt say its the fastest way to level up.

I go through Elite Four, too. That seems to be fastest way to level up your Pokemon, though. n_n

Well I think the easiest place to level is North of the resort area, because most of the pokemon are Lv. 50+ and you're within seconds of the nearest pokecenter. This way you don't need to carry any HM slaves with you and can focus solely on the training.

When you go north from the battle area, go straight up until there is an intersection with three trainers. They have two pokemon each. I just use vs. seeker on them and use a pokemon of lv 60+ to beat them very easily.

I battle the elite four or in the fight area to level up

Pearl's Perap
13th January 2009, 9:00 PM
I either train on the various members of the Elite four or spend time battling just north of the Resort Area, since I don't need any HMs to get anywhere to battle strong pokémon and I'm just a few seconds away from a pokémon center.

either just train on the elite four for a fast level up, or north of the resort area.

13th January 2009, 10:51 PM
The Elite 4 and the Fight Area I guess.

Nintom64
13th January 2009, 10:56 PM
Elite 4 and route 225 just above the fight area

Anyone 4 Buttons?
13th January 2009, 11:14 PM
Most definitely any of the areas north of the Resort Area. Spent many an hour there.

Stark mountain is the best as long as you can quickly fly away or dig out to heal.

I train my torterra, and my Lickilicky that knows thunderbolt at Lake Valor, just use the good rod.

Volteon

Level 1~15
Twin Double battle in Route 215. Use Explosion Metagross to KO both Pokémon (Lv 60 Raichu and Clefable) and I switch the Lv 1 Pokémon not to take the hit.
Perfect for checking IVs too.

Level 15~24
Sometimes IVs aren't sure until level 15. 24, 25 guarantees it 99% of the time.

Level 24~26
EV Training

Level 27~30
Quick battles at Restaurant. Just to get some moves right and to see how it goes on quick Battles. I also get some money using my Level 100 Persian using Pay Day =p

Level 30~40ish
The Snowy Routes. Not the fastest place, but I like the theme song for these routes which distracts me a little.

Level 40ish+
Route 225 and 228 all the time.

That's how I do it ;D

14th January 2009, 1:43 AM
in the earlier levels,
i train between the two breeders above solaceon town,
or train with all of the trainers left of celestic town (not the fog route, the other side)

but after the elite four,
i challenge them over and over again
or train right above the resort area.

spacialrend_palkia
14th January 2009, 8:48 AM
south of veilstone city there are 2 psychics and a PI with level 55-60 pokes. that's where i train most of my pokemon.

Glacier99
14th January 2009, 11:36 AM
I train above the resort area.

Yonowaru in Chaos
14th January 2009, 11:40 AM
I never train my Pokemon ;___;

In Platinum though, I use the VS Seeker on the Rich Boy and Fisherman on the route west of Sunyshore, and the old rich couples outside of the Pokemon Mansion for pre-Elite 4.

In my Diamond though, most of the time, they're LV30-ish (and I stop when I get to 50-60 xD), and I use the Acuity Lakefront, since they give out good Attack/Speed EVs.

(s.i.e)
14th January 2009, 1:07 PM
just like yonowaru i use the VS seeker on the rich guy west of sunyshore as well, besides the fact that it gives a nice exp it also gives a big heap of money, 999999 within 30 minutes means big business if you want those expensive ribbons or vitamins.

besides that i also train north of the resort area in the grass field, i don't want to go all the way to stark mountain.

ArmorAndonomon
14th January 2009, 2:35 PM
After EV training, I'll go train on the Battle Island, usually.
If I'm training for the League, I train against the Tentacruel before the League, after Sunnyshore. You get a nice chunk of EXP from those things. xD

Pikamiki
14th January 2009, 3:14 PM
i usually use stark mountain to level up quickly

Fire master of the east
14th January 2009, 3:54 PM
i usually just go to the elite four and kick their butts and have the one that needs the training to hold an exp share. lol

Jhonny
14th January 2009, 5:07 PM
Stark Mountain, but if I get sick of the travelling then I just use the Elite 4

Chou
14th January 2009, 5:18 PM
The route above Resort area, most of the time I train and chain at the same time, that's how I got my shiny belossom :3 and I train et the elite 4 too.

fire fan 888
14th January 2009, 8:14 PM
the place just above the resort area when i re-battle those two people closest to the resort and sometimes i got to fight wild pokemon there too

EDIT: there are some twins just above solaceon (spelling) town that after a while have lvl 60 pokemon.

In Platinum The top trainer cafe.
In DP A girl on the sandstorm route (228) has a chansey (good for experience)

Defend
15th January 2009, 12:13 PM
i usually use the pokefan with 3 roselias just vs seeker him all the time
and if you have a fire or flying
its pretty quick :D

15th January 2009, 12:46 PM
The Elite 4. Over and over again. With lucky eggs :). Im uncreative lol

Sol-x
15th January 2009, 4:05 PM
For me, it will have to be stark mountain. Perfect for training your pkmn.

Digimast
15th January 2009, 4:44 PM
Definitly Stark Mountain and that desert-like route.

Hey! Sol-X your avaar matches mine! Only Kyogre's missing!

Pyrax
15th January 2009, 4:51 PM
The route with the salamence trainer and the desert route and stark mountain

PiplupMan
15th January 2009, 5:57 PM
I like to hang about and train in the resort area! I use the VS seeker.

Basically, I normally get stuck training with all of the other elites... I don't know why. Maybe I just like Cynthia's backfround music... Maybe it's become a course of habit of mine to go to the Elite Four since I would always try to train my Emerald Version Pokemon in the Pokemon League with the other elites...

If you want, try the area where sandstorms occur.

The route that's connected to the east side of the Survival Area is hard to traverse without a Pokemon with Rock Climb.

Actually, everything that's to the north-east side of Sinnoh (including the Pokemon League) seems like the best area to level up in...

15th January 2009, 6:19 PM
I love the desert area in north sinnoh. There's a bunch of trainers and they're Pokemon are all like lvl. 55+. I'm always training up there.

lunar spirit1100
15th January 2009, 6:38 PM
In D/P I normally go to Route 228 where an Ace Trainer with Chansey gives good expierence. In Platinum I go to the top trainer cafe to rebattle the gym leaders.

Tri hawk
15th January 2009, 10:16 PM
Elite four. Excellent training with the exp share, whilst gaining a pretty penny to boot!

mew801
16th January 2009, 3:37 AM
Pretty much through the E4 and then going to the area above the resort area is always a good place to go, oh, and then battelling your rival on weekends. ^_^

Krake
16th January 2009, 4:15 AM
The Socialite and Gentleman next to the Pokemon Mansion.

shadowkami
16th January 2009, 4:19 AM
Route 224, when I EV train, it varies however.

CyberneticGlion
16th January 2009, 4:47 AM
I use my VS. seekers on those trainers near Soleceon town to gain a level or two.
They give out quite a lot of exp., especially earlier in the game.

Tomato-kun
16th January 2009, 4:53 AM
Around the Resort Area.

Real fun,there.

Tons of easy to beat Pokemon.

calum
16th January 2009, 7:18 AM
yeah elite 4

Upa
16th January 2009, 8:06 AM
I usually train in that beach between Sunyshore and Resort Area pre-league.

Theres one fellow with a loppuny who I VS Seeker Spam for Speed EVs and there are these 2 guys with Gyardos, who give 3000+ per fight.

LadyCharizard
16th January 2009, 9:09 AM
I usually like to level up on Route 222 or Stark Mountain.

I like Route 222 because it has the hotel to heal up, and I like training on Stark Mountain outside the house of the lady who heals your Pokémon.

Rommath
16th January 2009, 2:08 PM
Elite Four, above Resort Area and the girl with the Chansey, Ambipom and Rapidash in the desert are places I train a lot.

Before the Elite Four, probably on Route 222.

Jessie&James
16th January 2009, 2:19 PM
Usually Elite Four. If I'm training lower level Pokemon, I let it hold on EXP share and let the higher level Pokemon do the fighting.

Jaguar297
16th January 2009, 2:22 PM
Same, I use stark mountain, north of resort area, and the route just south of the shaymin place.

Sinnoh Champ Cynthia.
16th January 2009, 4:13 PM
North oh resort area, E4, Stark mountain and my special place for weak pokemon is Eterna Foret.

S.Bustathedog
16th January 2009, 5:53 PM
well except from the Elite 4, I go depending on the level, so if i have a level 5 i go to the first routes and start battling there and go up a route a level or a patch of grass a level but mainly i just go where ever.

BYE

(s.i.e)
16th January 2009, 8:33 PM
the E4 is also a good place to level though i only go there after my pokes reached lv60 at least, battles against trainers give more exp then battles against wild pokemon.

Lucariofan-atic
17th January 2009, 4:05 AM
This how the way to do it: use an exp.share on the pokemon u want 2 train, then go to the elite4. that's the easiest way.

Dragon Rules
17th January 2009, 4:08 AM
Most times I level up my pokemon in E4,but sometimes I level them up at the place near fight area.

PurpleMew
17th January 2009, 12:08 PM
I tend to go to the E4 with the pokemon i want leveling up in 6th place with my lv100 team so the pokemon gets all the experience points or i rechallenge the trainers in the battle area.

arboka
17th January 2009, 6:41 PM
Yea, same here I just go on top of Resort Area and battle the trainers there over and over again until my pokemon are Lv 100.

Sapphire Phoenix
17th January 2009, 7:43 PM
I either go to Stark Mountain or the routes between it and the Resort Area. Only when I need money do I go to the E4.

Hammerheart
17th January 2009, 7:45 PM
theres a trainer north of the resort area at the very top area, below the guy underground, she has a aipom, chansey and rapidash all at high levels, i generally just battle her.

Demon of Light
17th January 2009, 7:46 PM
The very tall grass route just above the Resort Area. It's the best place for me to train my Infernape and anything else with Exp. Share.

Ultimate Glalie
18th January 2009, 1:28 PM
The elite four or Stark Mountain are usually my choices.

Kaasuti
18th January 2009, 1:47 PM
I train my pokemon either at the battle areas or at the Elite four (with a level 100 pokemon in tow).

PsychedelicJellyfish
18th January 2009, 2:46 PM
Routes 214, 215 and 229. They all have some high-levelled (50-60) Pokémon.

I like Pokemon (...)
18th January 2009, 3:11 PM
Elite 4 until I can OHKO them.

Then run around resort area and fight area and stuff.

zandgaia
18th January 2009, 4:41 PM
i train where the 2 old peeps are standing close by the pokemon mansion south of hearthhome. i use my bike to up my vs seeker and i battle those 2 over and over again. it gives me a lot of money also :D especially with a pay day knowing poke AND the same poke holding a amulet coin

hpfreak725
19th January 2009, 3:23 AM
Elite four, and your rival when he/she is around on weekends.

Palamon
19th January 2009, 3:43 AM
same here Elite 4 and when your rival is around... also in the places after you beat the game...

Pokewiz7o8
19th January 2009, 4:30 AM
I think the E4 and rival are the best.

pokemonron2
19th January 2009, 6:33 AM
I think the E4 and rival are the best.

(s.i.e)
19th January 2009, 3:09 PM
I think the E4 and rival are the best.

oh yeah i forgot about the rival, it gives a nice extra exp but sadly he will only battle saturdays & sundays.

DoubleJG3288
8th March 2011, 12:56 AM
The three trainers north of the Battle Area. Once I get tired of them, I usually battle the two ace trainers north of the Resort Area.
