//THE FAN FICTION CLUB\\

http://i39.*******.com/331111t.png

Hello SPPf Fan Fic fans :p. I am Buraddo_Aipom. This is the fourth "version" of the FFC, and after talking to Shadowfaith I have created this brand spanking new club.

(Posted by Psychic) This club is meant for anybody who uses the Fan Fiction section here, and even for a few who don’t: if you have any interest at all in writing or reading Fan Fiction, even if you don’t write Pokémon Fan Fiction, even if you don’t have any written stories, even if you’ve never stepped foot inside SPPf’s sub-forum (but perhaps use others?), as long as you have the tiniest liking for writing, you are welcome with open arms! After all, literature is a core aspect to today’s society, and without it - well, let’s not get into how awful the world would be without it!

Here you can discuss just about anything concerning Fan Fiction, or just writing in general with other lovers of the art. Whether it’s plot-construction, writing styles, the usage of UU Pokémon or even things concerning the dreaded ‘R’ rating, feel free to start a conversation about it!(End Psychic's part xP)

Fan Fiction Club Rules:

ONE You must be a fan/author of Fan Fiction.
TWO Follow all Forum and Club Rules, like always.
THREE Topics are not limited to Fan Fiction, but would be helpful if they were mainly about it ;) Please don't make a new topic if there are already five "floating" around.
FOUR No bashing/flaming/trolling. Period. You know that you will be infracted, and we do not want that.
FIVE Everyone is equal. Please don't act like you are better than anyone else just because you think you are. (This is not directed to any specific people, but instead to everyone in general)
SIX Co-Owners will be chosen once the Club has been up and running for a little while.
SEVEN Co-Owners and myself are the only ones allowed to approve new members. If you are neither then LEAVE PENDING MEMBERS ALONE. thx~
EIGHT At the bottom of this post are Fan Fic-related things, so feel free to use and reply to them!
NINE In regards to advertising and talking about your fic: in your first post you may link to any and all chapter fics, One-Shots, poetry and anything else you may have posted on SPPf. Whenever you post a new story for the first time, then you can provide a link to it, and it is asked that if you released a new chapter for your fic, you simply post saying ‘I updated my fic’ but do not link it. This is so that this thread doesn’t become a place to just post updates for your own fic and it allows newer fics to get known as well. Also, as always, please do not randomly advertize your fic.

* Repeatedly breaking any of these rules/asking about something that has already been clarified in the rules can either result in a ban or warning. If a ban is decided upon, I will decide how long it will last or if it is permanent.

To Become a Member
If you like writing in any way, shape, or form, all you have to do is ask. You do not need to own a fic or even to frequent the Fan Fiction section, however feel free to list and link to any fics you have posted on SPPf. If you like you can just talk a bit about yourself, your favourite genres, books, authors, whatever you want.

I'll join! I ought to be working on two fics, but what do I go and do? I start a third.

Although technically I should ALWAYS be working on Obsession. It's my magnum opus, after all, and the title is far too fitting.

But right now I'm working on two Team Galactic fics and a Team Rocket one. Yes, I write about the bad guys far more than anyone else.

I've gotten awards at cons for my fics, including Best Novella for Obsession (as of chapter 12 that is). And I'm very proud of that.

Lately though the judges tell me (the local cons tend to be judged by the same groups) that my writing quality has dropped off. Do you guys think so? As of September that is, so before I wrote Business Lunch or Ob19 or Devious.

I tend to obsess madly about details in Obsession. Things have to match up with canon, which is very pecular given that Jirarudan has about twenty minutes of screen time total, and we only know a few things about him from outside the movie or his image song (like the "frightening scientific knowledge" note on the production sketch). But yet I'm petrified that some tiny detail could derail the whole thing, and that I wouldn't be able to work on it any more.

Yet other characters/stories I don't worry about. Hell, I write Domino as having an accent (and IMM for that matter) and they sure don't in canon. So I'm varied in what I need to know.

Oh yes. I seem to be the only person to write for the Iron Mask Marauder. No one likes him. Jiri at least has SOME fans (it's a small fanclub but it's disturbingly active), but IMM seems to rank down there with Phantom as far as his gratutious unpopularity. But unlike Phantom, I don't think this distain is merited.

I run Rocket100 (http://community.livejournal.com/rocket100/profile) on LJ. It's a writing comm for the Evil Teams. We welcome OCs and original Teams as well!

Awesome, you are all allowed to join :D

PokemonHero, I'm pretty sure this one will stay alive - I heard it's got an awesome new owner xP *shot*

holy_lucario, sure you can join, just make sure to post more in your posts because clubs can really get in trouble for one-liners >.<

Blackjack Gabbiani, welcome as well. I've noticed that you always write about the evil organizations and I think that it's awesome you have your own "thing" in writing. I'm more of a journey/OT fic writer, so that's all I really read :p

pokemonmaster21, I'm glad to have even more new members that weren't in the previous club :) It's nice to see that a club that's been restarted so many times can still get new members. If you need help with a Fic than you could check out the fic ideas thread and see what people think...just a suggestion :)

Anyone got a topic? I have to go edit the first post and work on my fic - speaking of that....

I'm Buraddo_Aipom and I've been writing pretty much since I joined SPPf a little over a year ago (a year and eight days :D). I started three Fics and they all sucked, I won't lie. You can check them out if you want, but I'd recommened The Sapphire Story (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=370107), my current Fic. I know this one will be finished and completed. I hope you all (meaning everyone readng this post) can check it out of give thought about it at least xP

Well, since I didn't do it in my last post, I might as well reintroduce myself now.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm PokemonHero. I've been writing fan fiction for about a year now. Probably the most well-known of my works are the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon fic The Twilight Chronicles (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=312948) and my most recent work The Light in the Darkness (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=371313). Hopefully, I will return to The Twilight Chronicles in the near future. Meanwhile, there are a few projects that I'm planning for the future. This upcoming spring, I will release The Pride, which is a Pokemon version of the Disney classic The Lion King. A preview will probably be posted sometime in March, so keep an eye out.

I think I posted a couple of times in the last version. So may I offically join this time?

I'm a novelist first and foremost. Fanfic writing is something of a 'keep my skills sharp' thing. And it's great for that. Now if I could just actually get published...

Anyhow, what do I have going on here? It's all in my sig, but I'll say a bit on them. Pokedex One-Shots is a tribute to the Pokedex. All the stories in that thread are based on the Pokedex entries. So you can pretty much read the first page and then read any other page at random and get the drift of the whole project. Oh, and I accept guest entries with prior approval (if that happens to be an incentive).

Pokemon Mage Ruby is my favorite kind of fanfic, taking something about a game and twisting it on its head. It's written as a pure fantasy, so magic truly does explain everything. It's just about finished. It is long (I am a novelist, after all), but I appreciate readers.

The Ballad of Deoxys and Mewtwo is prose, not poetry. It's sort of a cross-over. I took the personalities of Pinky and the Brain from The Animaniacs and transplanted them onto the two title Pokemon. So yes, crazy plots to take over the world. Or at least kill Giovanni. I've only had one responder to it; there's no link due to weird computer problems.

Ooo, Pokemon Lion King... I'll be looking into that.

I can join now please.

I've only really started writing fanfics seriously for about 3 months now. Cherish the Moments (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=378912) is the first fic i have written, and it has already gotten a lot bigger in terms of writing than i expected. Each chapter is longer than the one before it.

However i'm enjoying the challenge.

Requesting rejoin here, darling.

I'm working on a fanfiction that involves cross-over of characters from many different fandoms, in alternate-universe versions. Kind of like Tsubasa but totally not an excuse for thinly veiled erotica between two brand new male characters. (Okay, maybe there's a little, but.)

That, and I have some Pokemon metafiction to write still, a few prompts that I promised to finish, despite the fact that I've already passed the submission date for all of them by two weeks. I have a couple other projects I'm scribbling upon, but I don't have details on those yet.

I would love to join here please.

I haven't really been writing fics for very long (about a year and a half). My first fic I posted here is now in the completed fics section but is awful and way too short. I am currently working on two main ones on the moment that I think are going to be much better. There is a Pokemon one, about a much younger Oak and Agatha, that I posted here last year but couldn't continue with at that time. I'm up to about chapter 25 on that one. The other one is a Digimon fic which I am about eight chapters into.

I have a couple ideas for other fics I'd like to start work on this year sometime. One is about Pokemon Rangers though isn't really about the games at all, and another is a Digimon one. Barely any details about those yet.

I'm pokemonmaster21. Some of you may remember me from my earliest fic, The Journey..., and my most recent one, ~*~The Lauren Chronicles~*~. The first one flunked, and the second got a nice review from many people, but i gave up on it. I am currently working on a new fic, called may awakening.

palkia1, hey! I remember Winds of the Past: Agatha and Oak! That was a great Fic and I can't wait until it comes back out!

FlamingRuby, welcome as well :)

MayfanxD, you are accepted as well.

Topic? I'll make it simple.

How do you come up with your Fan Fic titles?

For me, I don't like to go into detail. The Sapphire Story is an extremely easy title that anyone can think of. My Fic is set in the Hoenn region, like how the game is set in Hoenn in Sapphire. The 'story' part just comes from the fact that it's a story xP

EDIT: Whoops, I missed the otehr two xP Ysavryl and TPJerematic, you can both join too :D

How do you come up with your Fan Fic titles?

Let's see. For The Twilight Chronicles, the name comes from the name of the rescue team (Team Twilight). And before you say anything, it was not named after the books. The Light in the Darkness...well, I really don't have any explanation where that came from that isn't a spoiler. It will make sense later in the story. And The Pride comes from the name for a group of lions, which I felt would make sense since the main character in the story is a Shinx.

BTW, the preview for The Pride may be up sooner than I first anticipated...

FlamingRuby
11th February 2009, 2:18 AM
Okay...

Final Fantasy: Tales of the Crystals-Essentially, this whole story is a re-imagining of the original Final Fantasy, so I tried to come up with something hat reflected that.

The Adventures of Kochou and the Beautiflies-This is meant to homage classic 80's cartoons (as the story itself is based on such a cartoon)

Life with Kira-The quitessential slice of life title: "Life with (insert main character here)

Role Playing--Great!-If you look at the letters in the title, it spells out what I'm parodying in the story: the RPG.

Ysavvryl
11th February 2009, 3:43 AM
I try to make titles that are a quick image of the story. If there's lots of dragons, 'dragon' will probably be somewhere in the title. If it's a horror story, something horror themed will show up, like some form of 'night' or 'ghost' or 'black'. If it's a humor story, I attempt to make the title out of a pun or something oddball.

And sometimes I like to pick a title that has nothing to do with the story other than to drive the readers nuts trying to figure out what the title means.

Tempus Fugit, your Fic sounds awesome, and welcome to the club :)

Thank you very much. I have a cast-listing about somewhere and it's currently shifting genres rapidly, which is kind of fun.

Varies from story to story. Recent drabble Love and Filth is a canon-linked title, being restricted to a single fandom. Fanfiction 'INFLUENCE' is related to the fact that it is largely located in a highly-influencial school, and because of there being a large cast of characters who are highly influencial people who fund said school, and also the fact that many parts of the plot are related to influencing the world.

A lot of others use song titles for inspiration. I've used "Master and Servant" before and might have a one-shot as a piece of 'INFLUENCE' 's backstory be "Disposable Heroes."

Blackjack Gabbiani

My fics tend to be for prompt communities so, being lazy, I name them after the prompt.

Baaaaaah, I need to fiiiinish this...and the problem is it's a near-lemon so chances are I wouldn't be able to post it here anyway. Although of course I'll ask.

palkia1, hey! I remember Winds of the Past: Agatha and Oak! That was a great Fic and I can't wait until it comes back out!

It's coming along slowly but surely. Another 15 chapters or so, and I think I'll be ready to re-post it.

How do you come up with your Fan Fic titles?

Well, for Winds of the Past, I actually asked for some advice from some fic writers here, and one of them came up with it. I really liked it, and it stuck. I only have one other title for a fic, which is Digimon Zodiac. It made sense, because the legend and mythology behind the story concerns the Chinese Zodiac. I usually try to think of simple, clear titles that still have some symbolic relevance to the fic itself.

How do you come up with your Fan Fic titles?

After a lot of thinking and binning title after title. I find titles the hardest part of any creative writing i have ever done. thinking up the idea = easy, writing the polt = piece of cake, checking grammar = a little harder but still easy, comming up with a title = see you next week, don't worry about the screams from my room. its one of the reasons i haven't named my chapters in Cherish the Moments (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?p=9336001).

And even that was a fluke. The title i had settled for the fic was 'The Mobius Accords' which (i dont want to put any spoilers for anyone who might want to read it) is the name of the gym where the main charaters run. But i thought that title sucked, so i thought long and hard and ... somehow, came up with Cherish the Moments (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?p=9336001).

I haven't done any Pokémon writing in a while, but I've been writing a new fic.

This is what I've been working on: The Mending of Alara (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=378206). It's a Magic the Gathering fic but people around here who read it treat it like original fantasy. It's a little behind here due to the forum glitches, but I'll get it up to speed around chapter 4-3 I think.

Let's see... I've been writing fanfiction for quite a while now, but I've currently only got two fics out in Internetland. The first is The Origin of Storms, which I started writing in the summer of '03, completed about a year later, and first posted online about a year after that. The second is Communication, which I started writing in late '04, began posting in '05, and, despite what the date of the last post in its thread might suggest, am still working on to this day. Links to both of those fics can be found in my sig.

Oh, may I please re-join, if that's acceptable? I mean, you wouldn't turn down a 16 year old believing he lives in the 80's, and can't understand a word of the "hip, young lingo" the kids are talking about fellow fanfic writer, now would you?

How do you come up with your Fan Fic titles?
Honestly, I'm terrible at naming anything. I named my fanfics after whatever came into my head at the time, rather than giving actual serious thought into it. Is it a bad thing? I think so, since it makes both me seem bad, and my work.

What got you interested in writing Fan Fiction?
Actually, a friend of mine told me that I should try writing my ideas online, since I can't scan my comics anywhere because of a lousy scanner/printer that literally destroys the paper when scanning... Yeah, it's that bad. So here I am, getting into a world where I need to learn more lingo than I ever imagined, and it's quite engrossing, since finally people could bash and/or like my wild stories.

So yeah, I'm kinda exclaimitory about my fanfics, to the point where I whine a LOT about how I don't seem to get a lot of comments about it, and I usually go on and on for about... 5-20 minutes about how I fail at writing before my mind wanders off onto something else. And no, I'm not insane in the membrane.

Well, since this topic did well, i might as well start a new one---

This is fun, lol.

Topic: What type of Genre/Theme do you place your fics in?

I usually create a romantic, comedy, or just plain random theme. I usually put in under the realistic fiction Genre (due to the fact that were writing about pokemon)

Ysavvryl
13th February 2009, 4:32 AM
I started writing fanfics because of a dare. Me and a friend were reading a Mega Man comic and he said that he could write a crazier story about that universe than I could. I took that dare and completed the story, while he quit after the fifth chapter. Heh. Although his beginning was technically crazier than mine...

Most of my writing falls under the fantasy genre, although there's quite a bit of slice-of-life, stream-of-conscious, sci-fi, and tall tales in the mix. Major themes are usually subtly philosophical or a psychological/sociological study... but anything works as long as the story is fun to read.

What got you interested in writing Fan Fiction?

Well, I've always enjoyed writing for as long as I can remember. I used to write stories that weren't fan fiction, just completely fiction. Then one day when I was browsing the forums I thought I might have a look at the fan fic sub forum. I had a quick read through some of the stories on the board and got really interested in them. I thought it would be fun to write fan fiction of my own and that's how it all started.

What type of Genre/Theme do you place your fics in?

I don't really think of a particular theme when planning a fic. The theme just sort of comes together as I write it. Usually I try to involve romance and tragedy in all of my fics. Most of my fics also tend to have friendship and the bonds between friends as themes as well.

Blackjack Gabbiani
13th February 2009, 9:45 AM
Interested in writing fanfics? Hmm. I've always had an interest in making up new stories for characters I liked, but I think the turning point was when I went to the bookstore and saw a tome of Batman short stories, and figured "Aww hell, I can do better than this!" So I went home and write a Burton Movieverse fic about Harley Quinn.

My favorite genres? Do Angst, Tragedy, Death, and Pain count as seperate genres? And I can't figure out WHY I write so much of this since I'm usually a really silly person.

FlamingRuby

What got you interrested in writing Fan Fiction?

Well, I got intessersted in May because she chose Torchic as her starter. Then Drew came and I got interested in Contestshipping. And then, May went to Jotho and I just started Imagining what could have happened there. I tried to find goog fics, but there aren't too much, so I decided to write my own fic, even though it's not a Jotho fic.

What type of Genre/Theme do you place your fics in?

Adventure,Fantasy, Romance.

Does anyone want to be a beta for me? It's a Team Galactic fic, trying to be gameverse. And it's a bit lemony and more than a bit creepy.

I'm having trouble with the ending mostly. I can't seem to figure EXACTLY where this needs to go aside from making the switch (when you read it you'll know what that means).

Also, someone not in the fandom looked over it today. I'd given her a character rundown, but she said that my not describing the characters was a hinderance. But everyone in the story is canon (with the possible exception of the one specific grunt but they all look alike anyway) so my thinking is that the reader will already know what they look like. I see these fics that describe every aspect of a character's looks and it drives me nuts. How do you guys strike a balance in describing characters that everyone already knows?

What type of Genre/Theme do you place your fics in?
I honestly never know what genre my fanfics are in, just for the fact that I never seem to find out a word that describes them exactly without a big leeway. So, I often get my siblings to think of a word for me. So far, they're under the fantasy and adventure genre most of the time.

How do you guys strike a balance in describing characters that everyone already knows?
Ah, hm. I just attempt at trying to describe the person with the best of my ability, using as many random tools as I can. Different perspectives, and even hitting my head up against my laptop to get a solid idea for words to describe the person. People know what those things are, but as a writer, I have to put in a description somehow, in any subtle way I can.

I love the banner PM21, and I added it to the first post :) It looks awesome.

LightingKimba, welcome to the club :)

What type of Genre/Theme do you place your fics in?

My Fics are always OT and/or Journey. If there is any other genre in the Fic than it's usually vrey prominent throughout, like if the characters were on a journey to get badges and figure out who killed someone than I'd place it under Journey and Mystery. Muh :D

How do you guys strike a balance in describing characters that everyone already knows?

Hmm....I don;t really know since I never use chacters from the animé or anything, so I wouldn't know. But in my Fic I give description throughout the Fic. Sometimes I say "The blue-eyed boy looked up from the dusty old book he as reading," or "She turned her head, browm hair dancing and her green eyes sparkled in the moonlight." I also sometimes give a breif description when they're introduced, and then give minor ones at other times. *shrugs* that is all :)

Since I use the anime characters a lot in my work, I tend to mention each character's most prominent feature to tip readers off as to who they are. (for example, I will mention Ash's hat when describing him)

I try to write in a variety of genres. Most of my work is Adventure and Fantasy stuff, though The Light in the Darkness is really my first foray into the Romance genre.

How do you guys strike a balance in describing characters that everyone already knows?

This doesn't only apply to anime characters. It can also apply to the Pokemon themselves. Anyway, when it comes to Pokemon, I always describe them to the fullest detail possible when I first introduce them. I had gotten a piece of advice somewhere that you should try to describe the Pokemon as if you were describing it to someone whose never seen it before. I have found that it works quite well.

I just try to imagine that the people who are reading it have never seen the particular character or Pokemon. Then I describe them as I'd describe any character. I include quite a detailed description at first and then throughout the fic I just mention small details here and there about their appearance, usually concerning hair, eyes or clothing or something along those lines.

Hmmm, usually most of my characters are made up. Actually, all of my characters are made up. But if i had to, id make it seem like they had never seen this person, or make them older or different.

Hey I was in the last club, but got kind of busy and sick and stopped going to it as much. Anyways may I join this one?

I currently have two fics planned, one of them I'm going to start writing tonight and it will be based on the G/S/C games with some added main characters.

The other one takes place after the anime, and I posted it's plot in the fan fic idea's thread already. I should get to work on it when I'm done with my other story.

Hello~

I'm Viva, and I personally love writing fics. While I have only posted a one-shot here on Serebii, after I finish going over and revising my other, much longer fic, I'm going to add that too. I am also planning out some other stories, one as a parody and one a bit more serious. x3 (If you want to, you can go to my FFNet profile, which is in my sig, and poke around in there.)

@BA: No, I'm giving up on The Truth About the Light. ^^; I might write it later, though, because I have it all planned chapter by chapter. I dunno... The Key is my new story... I just have the TTAtL banner up because I'm waiting for Zadros to make my Key one.

@pokemonmaster21: Do you mind if I use your banner in my sig? I don't want to cause any more confusion like with BA. ^^; It's really pretty, I like it.

What type of Genre/Theme do you place your fics in?

Mostly I write OT/Journey. I like to add different stuff into it, though, so it might not seem like they're in one genre altogether.

How do you guys strike a balance in describing characters that everyone already knows?

I don't use anime characters either (though Giovanni will play a big role in The Key but that's spoilerage...), but with Pokémon, I go with what PokemonHero said and describe them as if someone who's reading my fic never saw them before. And I want my readers to know what Pokémon I'm talking about before they see the name, which also works. I generally think I describe pretty badly, though. :x

Topic: What type of Genre/Theme do you place your fics in?

I usually create a romantic, comedy, or just plain random theme. I usually put in under the realistic fiction Genre (due to the fact that were writing about pokemon)

Varies by fandom. A lot of fandoms, e.g. Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, lend themselves quickly to action, and as much as I like to break moulds from time to time, usually these fandoms and characters get pigeonholed into the same ****. However, I do have a tendency to write action and adventure fic, running on a slice-of-life base often. My current big Tsubasa-Rip-Off (i.e. 'INFLUENCE') is genre-hopping here and there... and genre-mutilating, too. Started off kind romance-y, but it's shifting to action for a bit rite nao, and eventually gets very dramatic. Then action-y again for a short bit, and I dunno from there.

Also, someone not in the fandom looked over it today. I'd given her a character rundown, but she said that my not describing the characters was a hinderance. I tend to do it somewhat in passing, but avoid large quantities of description. Grunts don't get any description at all, or else very little... the sort of thing that makes major players appear to have full dissertations on their appearance given. (In more parodic works, the grunts are mocked for this, too.)

I don't know if I have a common genre--I like to mix and match everything. But I suppose most have a slice of drama in some way or another. And a lot have to do with death in some way or another. Morbid much, or something?

How do you guys strike a balance in describing characters that everyone already knows?

Just like the way I'd describe a character that I've described before. Just use bits of description to enhance the writing and make it more vivid, like during little bits of action, or whatever to spice up dialogue or some other scene. Like "he flicked his star-shaped tail in annoyance."

How do you come up with your Fan Fic titles?

They usually come from song lyrics that remind me of the fic in question in one way or another, as is the case with both of the fics I've posted.

What got you interested in writing Fan Fiction?

Since as far back as I can remember, whenever I've become obsessed with a character or species from a tv show/movie/book/game/et cetera, I've wondered (usually in a "what if" way) about that character or species. Very often, that wondering has led to me coming up with stories about the subject, and I'm pretty sure it's what led me to come up with that first, long-forgotten story all those years ago.

What type of Genre/Theme do you place your fics in?

In terms of main genres, The Origin of Storms is tragedy/horror, and Communication is drama/supernatural. Both also have a number of sub-genres, though.

How do you guys strike a balance in describing characters that everyone already knows?

Eh, with description in general, I'm just trying to see to it that it flows well, that it doesn't compromise the pacing just to drop a load of pointless details. I've definitely struggled in that department in the past, especially with regards to human characters--I've had a tendency to give undue attention to what they were wearing, which I find especially silly considering that I didn't even care that much about what they were wearing. O_o; I think it was just the result of an overcorrection (and the wrong sort of "correction") on my part of a tendency to underdescribe, really.

I hear ya, man. I often just try to make a perspective where it's easier for me to describe a character head-on, like how the Narrator of my Pokemon fanfic would say how a character acts and says, with a humorous plot-line going in. Or I use the try and true method of seeing how two characters would act, and carefully supplement their clothing, skin tone, really... It's all in the matter of what I can do in the time.

What is the easiest region for you to set your story in? (this is is you even use the regions xP)
For me it's Hoenn, mostly because I only have had three Fics, the first one was in Sinnoh and didn't last more than two chapters, the second was in Johto, but I felt it hard to put feeling into the setting. My current Fic (which is much better than my old ones) is in Hoenn and I just love the setting. It's fun to write about the towns and I like describing Petalburg Forest ^^;

I would probably have to say the Kanto region. I just find it easier to think of different situations to happen there. There are so many different settings throughout the region that the characters can visit. Unlike Hoenn where there is heaps of water or Sinnoh where there is barely any, there seems to be a nice balance in Kanto. I also like some of the anime/game characters that are based in Kanto, hence why the two Pokemon fics I am currently working on are set there. It's just the most interesting region for me to write about as well.

By the way, I just posted my new fic, Winds of the Past, a few days ago. The link is in my sig if anyone is interested in reading it.

Kanto or Hoenn. It depends on what mood I'm in. If I want more historical, Kanto is the way to go. If I want more modern, Hoenn is the one. I've never written anything in Johto or Sinnoh because I don't know the regions as much as Kanto or Hoenn.

It was actually Metallica's version that I heard first; that was actually how I became aware of Blue Öyster Cult and subsequently got into their music. ^^

And nah, I don't have a fic called The Nexus of the Crisis.

That is the working title for a future chapter of Communication.

Entirely understandable. (I haven't listened to that album in a while... any of the albums with any version of the song. D: I fail!)

Then I was probably confusing that and The Origin of Storms. It's one line away in the song's lyrics!

So, currently, my list of projects to do are...
Further 'INFLUENCE'; designs for Yuriko, Chizuru, and Lux arcs are pretty much in line. (Technically, the Chizuru arc is a lead-up to the Lux arcs.)
Finish off 1 prompt for old list and do works for new list.
TRY to write something shippy but inevitably utterly superfluous for once that doesn't take an 'anti-shipping' approach.

Coming out to a minimum of eleven things I want to get done this year. (Or at least get the first through the first arc/s. Since technically, the first arc is split in two.)

Meh, my only pokemon fic thus far starts off in Johto, which is because of an elaborate joke I made before-hand. Originally, I wanted Like a Line Drive! to be a sequel to the fancomic I used to draw a year ago, but another idea took me at hand, as well. I wanted to make a complete satire-esque joke on the series. I know, it's clique, but... Nyeh. I just wanted to make fun of the fact about how people often think about pokemon, as well as make a good adventure series, but, I'm not the type who really stay serious for long, and I often have to lighten things up. I know, bad habit of mine. ;^^

If I ever made a different fic, it'd probably be easier for me to place in Kanto or Hoenn, since I hate Sinnoh for being filled with hicks, and Johto's already a region that simply mooches off of big daddy Kanto. That's how I see 'em, though. *shrugs*

The problem with most fan fiction is that it is often done at the spur of the moment. They do not plan out what they are going to write and they do not take the time to properly write out the story. Of course, I'm somewhat guilty of this myself. However, I've improved upon this and have planned out most of the events for The Light in the Darkness and The Pride ahead of time. However, I've left myself some flexibility in case I want to change things later.

The fic I was talking about, The Odyssey of Champions, only had what I like to say an extremely complicated plot which I sometimes struggle to remember.
I loved the plot I had for it, honestly, but I hated my writting it.
The characters were cliche, I sometimes am deadly afraid I unconciously coppied part of the story from Destiny journeys (talking pokemon+four teens with powers), and the chapters were getting longer and longer.

However, I am constantly thinking about re-doing it...

There is something about throwing the son of Maxie on a quest to stop golbal warming, the son of Archie to re unite the team so he could get back his *HUGE SPOILER* by rapping the female main character, Team Rocket to start dreaming of the perfect Mewtwo, again, and letting it all off in Sinnoh in an ending only comparable to neon genesis evangelion's theatrical release, The End of Evangelion.

True, that typo is so awesome removing it from my previous post would endager the very fabric of awesome. I mean existance.

And the beggining was kind of easy to entertwine, but since I never reached the halfpoint I don't know how hard it would be to connect and deliver from there. Ho hum - a NEW fanfic club!

...Yeah, go me. Sticking with the times, yo. -_- Also kinda noticed it before but my internet died upon posting some time ago so I went 'eh' before I died under homework.

But I'm here now!

Anyways... I'm bobandbill, as you can plainly see. Maybe I'm an impostor, but that's for you to decide. I joined the magical world of fanfiction about... a year and a half ago? Started on a very minor whim (basically for the heck of it) with my fic which kinds takes the micky out of Pokemon Colosseum - you know, more comedy, more pastries, more plotholes to cover up the game's plotholes, that sort of thing. -_- It's still going slowly but surely. That and I've done a one-shot so far, and currently have too many ideas and not enough time/effort to make use of them yet. I also review (although I haven't done too much of that lately, tbh), and beta-read (which IMHO I've been doing too much of recently =P). But it's fun and all.

Now to answer all of the topics! =D

How do you come up with your Fan Fic titles?

I just think for a while, and usually something comes to me, or I make something come to me.
Well, it was, I have to admit, I had the greatest moment of sheer brilliance when I came up with the title of my main current fic. I mean, The Retelling of Pokemon Colosseum - can't get better than that, surely?

=P I went for that rather simplistic title...well, basically as it does fit in well - it basically IS my spin on the game after all, with various changes and additions and what-not. That and I wasn't that concerned with titles when I started out - never was a serious fic so a standard title just works, I suppose. Plus the acronym of TRoPC looks interesting. =P

With chapter titles, I do tend to give them some sort of relevance to the content. Some have mild humour in them, and some are just standard simplistic ones. And once I used the chapter title 'Who needs a chapter title? It's Miror B!'. XD

My one-shot's title Unfortunately Blue however had a bit more thought... well, not really - that popped into my head early on while writing the story, and it happens to fit in very nicely and works well, I suppose. -_-

What got you interested in writing Fan Fiction?

Well, before I used to write random comedy scripts and the such (one which had two characters which now make up my username). After a while though I felt like writing something maybe a tad more advanced... and then I encountered the game Pokemon Colosseum. (My friend had two copies, and has no idea how he got the second one XD). I found it fun, and enjoyed various aspects of it (such as an awesome teenager protagonist who blew stuff up AND Miror B), although I noticed some problems story-wise - some stuff was left in the air a tad too much. Bored, I thought some humorous ideas on what really happened.

Then one day I was sitting on my computer, wondering what to do, though 'hey, why not write a story based on Colosseum? It's got...Pokemon! You like Pokemon! And you could try to make it FUNNY!' And just like that, I did.

I had read the odd fanfic before, but tbh it was just a random choice that I made. One I'm pretty glad I did considering all the stuff that came from it. Including reading many more fanfics and reviews and from there learning more about writing and all. Heck, now I know something about writing! =D

What type of Genre/Theme do you place your fics in?

COMEDEE! 'Nuff said. -_-

Oh, for me one-shot I suppose it IS tragedy rather than comedy, but I like writing comedy more, I suppose. Some parody too.

How do you guys strike a balance in describing characters that everyone already knows?

Well, not everyone knows about the characters of Colosseum, but some do, I suppose... I don't go that much into describing in my fic given it's nature, although I do describe important characters somewhat(not every single one though otherwise I'd explode). I like to exaggerate various facts, such as, say, the largeness of Gonzap's moustache and eyebrows (but in saying that they ARE really long O_O), and Miror B's awesomeness and afro and dance-moves, for instance, just so that if the character is known to the reader, I don't bore them too much and perhaps amuse them as well (which is my aim with that fic after all), and if they don't know them, then they know enough on what they look like and what they are like as well. Or least-ways, I intend for that to be the case...

What is the easiest region for you to set your story in?

For me so far, Orre, given it's the only region I've used (bar some random location for aforementioned one-shot which is no actual set region, if any) and using a region mostly made out of desert with very little/none wild Pokemon and so forth has its charms, I suppose, or at least a nice, unique feel to it. Out of the big four though I'd probably feel the most comfortable using Johto, just because I love it so much and spent many a long time there back in the days of GSC...

What kind of Fics are you reading, if any?
Um.... various kinds, and a lot of them, really. I'm a bit lazy to post them all now, and if I say some but not all which would be quite a likely outcome then people will ask me 'hey, why didn't you mention that you were reading MY fic? Perfect opportunity to get my fic into the spotlight and YOU FORGOT ME!', and I would have to go into hiding again and I wouldn't want to do that.

Or maybe not, but...eh, might actually work on my fic instead... =P And yes, I'm ignoring the fact I went and answered all of the topics. -_-

What kind of Fics are you reading, if any?

Umm, I'm more of a writer than a reader. But I'm reading LE (well have been in two massive reading splurges) and am waiting for a new chapter and I plan to continue to read Boband/orBill's Pokemon Colosseum. I would like to read more, but busy and all.

Aww, you're reading Obsession? Where're you at?
(although honestly it's not all that long for a thus-far 19 chapter fic)

I seriously need input...I have an idea as to what I want to do with the next chapter but after that is dead space. And I think 21 will be the chapter that ends the "heavily detailed year" part and so then I can start skipping around and glossing starting with 22...

oh waaaaaait! 20 can have the thing I'm thinking of, and 21 can have the part where Lucrezia's----yeeeeeeeeesssssssssss!!!!!!!!

Well, I'm on the 9th chap as of yet, and trying to read at any point of my leisure. However, my school's not letting me off easy with the coming weeks. Darn tests...

What kind of Fics are you reading, if any?

At the moment I'm not reading any fics. I barely have time to write my own at the moment, so I don't have that much time for reading. I do plan to read the fics of my reviewers whenever I get around to it. They take time to review mine, so I should at least return the favour whenever possible.

Time for my return. I need a good place to promote my fic. ;]

I'd like to join. I believe you all know who I am, so why bother with introductions?

What Fics are you reading, if any?
Nothing, Everything- Bay
Starbolts- the former LX
The Sapphire Story- BA

So yeah. I read them, but I don't review them. Junior year of High School does not give me enough time to write my own fic, and review at the same time.

Anyways, I'm the writer of The Sevii Islands Saga, in case anyone didn't know. :]

Hi. may i join? most people might know me under the name of Midnightmoon602 from Fanfiction.

Okay now to the topics.

What is the easiest region to set your story in?

Hoenn and Sinnoh. their the two places i know well.

What type of Genre/Theme do you place your fics in?

Romance,Adventure, Death, Tragic, Hurt.

How do you come up with your Fan Fic titles?

I come them up either from when a charather is going to say those words at the end of the story (eg. Whisper in the Wind) or the whole based story (eg. Tears in Heaven)

What got you interested in writing Fan Fiction?

Well it started with my ideas from my first fan fic, (Tears in Heaven which i might plan to re write one day) anyway i saw a few links from different people's sig and thought to try it out. i did and found out.

I started to write my ideas down, got reviews saying how to improve and blah blah blah. so i kept on writting until i got good and started to enjoy writing fanfics.

What kind of Fics are you reading, if any?

I have no time. i have three fics im doing right now. i need to finish them before rading any others.

I am rejoining.

Okay, I am sweet_piplup123, that little girl who:

One. Writes Pokemon Mystery Dungeon--Gemstone.
Two. Is really crap at tense grammar. *insert people facepalming here*
Three. Has a Fanfiction.net account but rarely go on it.
Four. Is also writing a manuscript for a children's book for my GATS project.

I am thinking of a couple one-shot stories at the moment, because I am taking a break from writing Gemstone (curse you Writer's Block!) and so far I came up with about three or four of them.

How do you come up with your Fan Fic titles?

References from the story. One of my main characters have a peculiar gemstone.

What kind of Fics are you reading, if any?

I'm not reading too many stories right now, as I've been very busy with school and drama. But the three main stories I'm currently reading here are Nothing, Everything by Bay, The Saga of Team Supernova by FocusPresenceEndurance, and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Dawn Guardians by Koridojo_Blaziken. I also read stories on FanFiction.Net by the author Mintobrandybuck.

Oh, and before I forget, I've posted a preview in the Author's Cafe for The Pride, the newest story I'm working on. It's not the longest preview I've done and it has no dialogue, but I hope it will interest some of you.

On regions... I tend to skip Johto, as my Crystal's battery died several years ago. I've done quite a bit in the rest. Hoenn probably shows up the most.

On what I'm reading... quite a few that haven't updated in weeks... Um, PMD: Gemstone, and a couple of other PMD fics that I can't recall right off. The Sapphire Story. Nothing, Everything. The Retelling of Pokemon Collesium (even if I can never spell the thing right the first try). Quest for the Legends. I'm certain there's others that have either slipped my mind or I can't think of right now. I try not to get things mixed up between them.

Jnoo's (Bulbapedia member) Legends of Sinnoh looks like a promising fic, despite me not having reading it after forgetting about it to read D. Gray Man. It's seriously coolbeans.

And I seriously need a fire under my butt if I want to write When Swans Cry. I don't know why, but I know exactly what I want to write, but I get distracted so easily... ;>_>

Hmm, well, I did say fic, not fanfic =P

In reguards to regions, Johto would be by far my favourite, making it easier for me to write. I like the geography of it overall, plus the different Pokemon around. While it may not have some areas like the Hoenn desert, or the Sinnoh snow fields, Johto has it's own charms and unique places.

What current fanfic/fic are you currently writing?

One could click the links to my sig, and find 'em, but...

Like a Line Drive!'s my Pokemon fanfic, the sequel to the three-saga'd fancomic series Waves of Fire that I made at school, and were also shown in the school paper. ^^ I gave up on it after my comic got replaced by this other dude's comic...

While When Swans Cry is my "Digimon fanfic". It's really under the guise of one, that is supposed to take place in a school, with a similar genre of jokes as GTO or Keroro Gunso. Thing is, even though I know what to write at the time, I get distracted, and usually get to one paragraph per hour.

So yeah, those are my fics, which I still wish had more reviews. /greedyfanficwriter

Anyway, I finished a new fic. It's called Location (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=385415) and it's about Saturn, why he got left out of the Spear Pillar plot, and what he did in that time.

I am writing three at the moment. One of them, Winds of the Past, has a link in my sig. That one's about Agatha and Oak when they were young up and coming Pokemon trainers.

I'm also writing a Digimon one at the moment. I'm only about eight chapters in and haven't been writing as much of it since reviving WoP.

My last one is a fic that centres around an employee of the Safari Zone. I only have a basic plot at the moment, and have only written a few pages of the first chapter.

If you could put yourself in any fanfic, what would it be and why?
Hmm, something interesting. Dramatic or action-filled I think, that'd be too awesome for words. My list of fics I read isn't extremely extensive, so I'm not entirely sure which ones I'd like to be in. Certainly something with a fast pace and some mystery in there. Preferably one where I wouldn't die.

It's okay for me to make a topic, right?
What do you like to see in a good fic banner?
This is an area of special interest to me, and I'm guessing some other people here too KK. I like to see the whole thing being significant to the fic. You know, colours, pictures, text, mood... That can be a bit hard to achieve if you don't make it yourself, but I reckon the banner should be a reflection of the fic it's advertising. Thoughts?

Hm, that would be a tie between "Kochou" and a fic I'm co-authoring over at Bulbagarden called "The Things We Do For Love" (which started as a very long conversation about things we wished Brock would do to impress a girl that snowballed into its own plot.) I'll have to ask my co-author if I can put it up here.

Zomg, Zadros' topic got forgotten. D:

That's a tough call. I would probably say The Light in the Darkness. I feel that it is the best bit of writing I've done thus far. The Twilight Chronicles is a close second, mainly because of the characters like Bulbasaur.

The Retelling of Pokemon Colosseum. Most fun to write for myself, really.

What do you like to see in a good fic banner?
Nothing specific, really - just the banner's layout as a whole, I suppose - one that captures an atmosphere or mood of the fic and makes it appealing to me and my finger hovering over that mouse button.

And now maybe a new topic:

Have you ever written any stories involving criminal Pokemon gangs, whether they are canon-based or made up (e.g. Team Rocket, Cipher, Team Imgoingtothrowapieinyourface, etc)?

Myself, I've kept the two teams in Pokemon Colosseum for my fic - Team Snagem, and Cipher. Team Snagem doesn't get that much screen-time given the nature of their role in the game, but I've had a fair bit on Cipher, also showing how the story unfolds from their side as well.

Team Imgoingtothrowapieinyourface ftw!! :D

Yes, I thought of a 'team' type thing called Sodexho that 'Taints' Pokémon to make them have sudden outbursts of Dark strength, but that's it. I'm not a big fan of using Rocket/Magma/Aqua/Galactic etc. They seem too bent on one thing already, like, too restrained for using them. I'd rather make up my own evil group and make them do whatever I want them to. Much more flexible, more usable.

*cough cough*

I made up a Team Spectre, but they've only come up a few times in my fics. One was a cowrite for Rocket100 for Original Teams week, where Morty joined them because he thought it would help him save Eusine, and the other was my recent fic Red, where Spectre traps two Rockets in a cave and slowly freezes them.

Spectre is ghost-centric and believes in freeing the soul from the physical body, however they don't usually kill their enemies, only doing so to the most dangerous. They think it needs to be done willingly (which is a nice PG-rated way of saying they're a suicide cult).

So yes. Have you figured out I'm a sick little puppy yet?

New topic:
Do you have any Fan Fiction planned, or at least an idea for one?

I do, but I'm not sure what I'd call it, mostly because I thought of the idea during Biology today xP It would be about this group of Pokémon that are running from the government/something (all Pokémon fic btw). They are running because they all have a rare virus known as the DDV (Ditto DNA Virus). No one knows how the virus started, but it alter's the infected Pokémon's DNA, allowing them to transform into other Pokémon, just like a Ditto. There isn't a known cure, but the government/whatever want to expirament to try to obtain the ability to transform into Legendary Pokémon (did I gorget to mention that the Pokémon with DDV can only transform into a Pokémon they see, and cannot change into one that they haven't seen in real life? xP). Do you have any Fan Fiction planned, or at least an idea for one?

Oh, boy. Really-long-post time. This is all copied and pasted from my Word document labeled 'Fic Ideas', so yeah... xD PLEASE don't steal. I always worry about that when posting my ideas. I'm very protective - I only have so many ideas before I run out and oh, I'm rambling, so on with my ideas now... (BTW, I'M NOT SPOILING THE ENDING, SO I'M ONLY COPYING A BIT FROM EACH, MMKAYS?)

The Darkest Hour: Darkrai is enhancing the powers of Ghost and Dark type Pokés and giving powerful humans (i.e.: gym leaders, Team Galactic) the powers of ghosts in order to “refresh the world” and be like a Pokémonic Hitler. Purifying the world has its costs. One boy and his Drifloon from Floaroma want to find out why Darkrai is doing this.

The Truth About the Light: Saiful the Absol has been growing up in solitude. He has always hated the light above his cavern home, but his curiosity overwhelms him and he ventures out. When he meets Sam and Kari, his whole perspective changes. With the Tainted Espeon, he must set out to destroy the forces of Sodexho before Sodexho destroys him and his newfound world.

The Key: Giovanni has found an Unown who is shaped like a key. To help him solve the puzzle behind it, he enlists the help of his daughter, Sophie. Pressured by her father, she must decide which path she follows - good or evil - and take on whatever comes her way beyond that. (I'M WRITING THIS RIGHT NOW)

ThunderStruck: After being hit by lightning on Cinnabar Island, Diana is paralyzed. Luckily for her, a teenage boy (Jacob) finds her and puts her on a Ponyta of his. They go to various places searching for a cure for her. They eventually...

And that's all I'm saying. I altered the paragraphs, too, so not to spoil ya'll too much. :p

Yep. Those are the terrible ideas from my brain. Feel free to groan.

I have only two.

Sometimes Goodbye Is A Second Chance: It has been two years since Dawn has seen Paul. the last time she saw him was the soft side she thought she would never see. soon they find something in common and decided to travel in Johto. soon both started to uncover their past which should of stayed hidden

White Lies: This is a re-written fanfic from High School love. (horrible fic. it needs to be re-written) May comes home late from parties and needs to find an excues. she says she has a boyfriend even when she dosen't have one. so she goes to Ash to ask if he could be her pretend boyfriend. soon things change with both friends don't expected.

I Have A Crush On You: My first Black Cat fanfic. Kyoko has a major crush on Train and trys many ways to show Train that she likes him.

Some of my ideas might change in the futher since im doing two fics at the same time. ^^

Sparkling Shuffle, it's a Beyblade fanfic I've been trying to get started, but had no luck at getting a story about it. So far, my ideas were either to have the main character to be a ruthless badarse who's the stereotypical shounen type, fighting only to please his lust for Beyblading and victory, or making a more down to earth main character in the form of a child who later gets into Beyblading only because of the training she reluctanly had as a child.

Yeah, I'm a tad boring, aren't I? ;P

Do you have any Fan Fiction planned, or at least an idea for one?

I do, but it might not take place on SPPf at first. It'll be at a different forums, and once my whole Fic is complete there, I might need to bring it back over here. Im current titling it, "The Retelling of Majora's Mask". I dont mean to copy bobandbill, but his Fic was so inspiring, and enjoyable, I thought I'd be cool to make something like that.

Besides actually getting a new chapter done (which I am nearing towards), I have a few ideas. Some random (and silly) one-shots I have ideas for (one I have partly written but atm unsure if I'll finish it), and I also have a larger OT fic of sorts jumping around in my head. If I ever write that though it wouldn't be until I finish my current main one.

And O_O.

heh heheheh heheh

I think there was a reason I didn't join beforehand, but I must've forgotten about it, so I'll join now before I remember it >_>

I've got...technically three ongoing fics, but one of them is as dead as moldy bread that I don't think it'll be up for a while.

Links
Main one, getting mouldy (http://serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=351552)
Pretty much dead and I can't be bothered to revive it :p (http://serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=372525)
One-shot thread; mouldproof :D (http://serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=386092)
Ongoing, but it doesn't have any Pikachus in it D: (http://serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=390056)

Now that we have that out of the way, you guys can probably see that I get pretty irresponsible with my fics. >_> Well, they're definitely still on my mind (...they are!); I'm just afraid that I'm rushing them.

Bleh x_x

Also, perhaps I'll ever post something mainstream, like a trainer fic, or an MD fic or something that actually involves Pokemon. Probably not, but it sounds inevitable that I will, if only as a simple writing exercise.

So...hi...?

Yonowaru in Chaos, welcome to the FFC :)

I'll make another topic, mostly because I want to see what people would say...

If Game Freak/Nintendo wanted to use a Pokémon Fan Fic of yours for the storyline of a new game, would you let them? Why/why not?

Heck yes I would! I'd be so honored to have a game with a storyline that I wrote, plus with the plot I have I think it'd be pretty cool to see it in a game. Or course I'd need credit for writing it and such, and I'd want money :p

BA~~

I'd be flattered to let them use one of my "quest" fics, provided I can have a hand in the dev process.

Uh... Hm. My only pokemon fanfic wouldn't even work out for a good story in any type of pokemon game in my opinion. Honestly, unless they could give me a good way they could make it, there's literally no way that I would give the rights to use it, since well... My fanfic's a parody of the main games themselves. From the affection the starter of the main character's pokemon has, to the ridiculous dialogue of the "NPCs", it's a just a gag fic, was all.

Literally, I need some convincing how they would use my fic at all. ;P

Thanks, Buraddo_Aipom (I keep on thinking Brad_Aipom Dx).

Umm...sure, if the topics I've covered haven't been controversial enough x_x If it ever became a real Pokemon game, then it'll sure anger a lot of Christians >__>;;

Ah well. I suppose I can come up with something fluffy and American appealing to a wide audience. Yes...writing something appealing is definitely the final frontier for me, definitely Dx

Oh lawd. Nothing I've written would be of any interest as a game plot, but maybe some elements in them.

...and now I wanna see Business Lunch played out with game sprites, but it'd be really difficult with all the glaring going on.

Although I don't have any up yet, I have two on the same theme, one of which would not work as a game because...well I've not completely decided everything thats going to happen in it, the second one in my mind is also just my own re-do of Gold/Silver except...well its more of shipping fics so, it would be interesting to see but some of the scenes I plan might not be too good :p The first is too, same pairing too, but it's completely different that what already happens with them.

Would like to re-re-join the club, since I changed accounts, and so the name on the roster can be changed. If the roster is even updated anymore.

I previously canned my project 'INFLUENCE' out of some difficulty in keeping much interest in it through the second half of the first segment (the first part travels through Patchouli arriving at the school and befriending Suzuna, to having to separate herself from her in order to keep them both safe from the latter's insane mother).
Problem is, Patchouli shows up one week before the two-week Winter break (yes, it's going by a U.S. schooling schedule, which is kinda handwaved); they come back in early January, and the second arc is supposed to end at the end of Valentine's Day. In that span of time, I have to stretch out the two brother originals to finish research on Suzuna's family, have one of them practice with his garage band, have a falling-out with one member of it, the city to have major blackouts normally, they'd be brownouts, but 'brownouts' just sounds... like something horrible... maybe they'll be greyouts, have Suzuna and Patchouli fake a huge argument, have Patchouli move in with a strange girl who she knew in a previous life (kinda), see Patchy get taken in by two other students because the strange girl is busy with lab work for the major science group in that world, cause Patchy learn to hate those two because they're abusive and manipulative in too many ways, get her to attempt to retreat to aforementioned lab girl, have lab girl almost get killed by the two creepwads, have Patchy get herself kidnapped, end up with Patchouli get saved by Suzuna, have the pair forced into a ritual that would cause Suzuna's evil mother to rule the world, then have the Brothers Ohsee attempt to stop it, alongside a battalion of steel mostly normal cops. All this within the span of... I think four chapters on one side, then twelve on another, because a lot of this abuses staples.

However, I'm considering trying to reboot it because, really, it was a hell of a lot more fun writing for a tsundere and a time-shifted witch with enough firepower to destroy a continent than it should have been.

BUMP!

*Walks in nervously* Hello there. I would like to join please. I'm currently trying to write a One-Shot, but I'm still plannig it out. I've got the basics and setting and such, just trying to really think out the details. So...hi.

Do you have any Fan Fiction planned, or at least an idea for one?
Yes I do. It's about this 17-year-old girl who gets cursed by a demon (though not directly, but I won't go into much detail) and leaves to find out how to lift her curse. She gradually grows through these changes in her body and mind, though she might not realize it right away, but when she does, she's horrified at her own doing. Yeah...it seems a little complicated. So...that's my answer....
