If you could live anywhere in Sinnoh where would it be and why? I would live in Sunyshore because it has a beach and the best gym leader

I love Hearthome.

13th July 2009, 7:43 AM
heathome is cool too. i also like resort area

Lucazard
13th July 2009, 7:54 AM
Hearthome because it's the biggest town, I think.

It also looks cool with the contest thing and Amity Square.

Sunnyshore because i love living next to the ocean.

GreenAiden555
13th July 2009, 8:14 AM
Either Sunnyshore to be by the lake, where I'd swim out to some weird island that no one knows about and camp there on the weekends or Snowpoint, where it's always snowing and it's the furthest away from all other people.

Drybones446
13th July 2009, 8:18 AM
Or maybe with Cynthia in the Pokemon League...I'm sure they're not standing all day waiting for challengers, they must have a bed there.....

Shadow Tepi 8
13th July 2009, 8:26 AM
I would probably live at either Sunnyshore or Canalave, seeing as they're both situated right next to the sea.

Lucariofan-atic
13th July 2009, 8:28 AM
Snowpoint city, i like to live in the snowy places, or maybe Sunnyshore, it was nice there.

13th July 2009, 8:31 AM

Sunyshore. Love beach areas in general.

Emo_Kirlia
13th July 2009, 10:36 AM
Old Chateau. Not that old haunted place in Diamond and Pearl. That big-*** nice mansion/hotel place in "Get your Rotom Running!" (1st Diamond and Pearl Galactic Battles episode) but first I would catch that Rotom even if it meant using a masterball because I don't like Washing Machines and Lawn Mowers chasing me! T_T

i would say disortion world because i could see giratina whenever i want and no gravity

qwilfish
13th July 2009, 12:10 PM
sunyshore city, because it's close to sea and it has a lake nearby and the munchlax shaped rock and solar panel roads are cool and there's a gym in sunyshore city.

Tiomasta
13th July 2009, 12:17 PM
i would say disortion world because i could see giratina whenever i want and no gravity

That's not a really good place. First, what would you eat there? Trees?
Second, what about using the bathroom? You can only go into the bush and do it there, but then eventually the pee would fall off the platform, then the weird gravity would make it go left, or right or up into yer face.

I would choose the first town. Not that many people, kinda quiet, seems like a nice and comfortable place. If anything, Sandgem isn't far.

Ryonai
13th July 2009, 2:04 PM
I would choose Sandgem because of the lab. So that I would have a nice job near home and the beach.

Canalave City

I love a good library.

Something~Kinda~Ooooh
13th July 2009, 5:23 PM
I would be living it up in the resort area sunning myself by the pool, hanging out in my villa, lunch with the posh people at the ribbon syndicate sounds fun to me!

Sunyshore City~ By the water and swimming~

Or the resort area. I would still be swimming and just laxing around.

Or perhaps Hearthome? I don't know why but something about that place attracts me.

abraxas
13th July 2009, 5:48 PM
Pastoria or Sunnyshore would be nice. Don't really know why, but those places just appeal to me.

Kariachi
13th July 2009, 8:28 PM
I'd have to say Pastoria. One of the mildest climates in the region, out of the way, lots of nature, perfect.

manutd7182
13th July 2009, 10:14 PM
I'd go for the Grand Lake Hotel.
I don't care if you might have to pay an arm and a leg just to stay there for the night but a nice restaurant, pool, abuse some posh people. Will be good times :)

Hearthome because it's the biggest town, I think.

No, thats Jubilife. I'd probably live in Hearthrome because the best-looking houses are there.

Rainbowdashtheawesome
13th July 2009, 11:02 PM
I'd want to go to Snowpoint City. I live in southern California, where it is too hot to ever even consider wearing a coat bigger than a windbreaker at any time of the year, and I have always dreamed of moving somewhere colder. We could very well have gone swimming in our backyard pool when our relatives came over last Christmas; you tell me that's not a reason not to wish for a trip to Antarctica.

I like Hearthome because of the contest hall, amity square and the poffin house but i also like Sunyshore because it has a beach and my favourite gym leader.

Maybe Sunyshore, hearthhome or the Resort area.

Ambassador Art
14th July 2009, 3:17 AM
Either is Veilstone; To hone my karate skills in Maylene's fighting gym and to play in the game corner, or in Sunyshore; with an eco-friendly power source and plenty of sunshine!

LuciRuki
14th July 2009, 3:28 AM
Canalave for sure. I enjoy how the town is seperated into two parts, and the fact that it has a library. The drawbridge is also epic.

My next choice would have to be Sunyshore, because I absolutely love lighthouses. I don't know there are something about them. Plus, solar power, ftw!

I'd like to live in the Fight/Resort/Survival area. That island has one place to live in (Villa) and the other two areas for battling. I'd toughen my pokes up over on the road to Stark Mountain (even the mountain itself) and in the afternoon, impress the hot chicks (if any) in the Battle Frontier and by sunset, go to my villa, have a beer or two, fix myself up a snack, and turn on a good movie on my cozy sofa and HDTV. The next day, I might use my Snorlax to surf me over to Sinnoh and visit some old buddies (and pay Cynthia a nice, sexual visit). My job would be a Frontier Brain on a facility I built called the Battle Casino .

Mark_Chaos
14th July 2009, 3:34 AM
Snowpoint City, I always wanted to go someplace cold when it's really hot.

Pastoria. I love the Crogaunk. <3 ;453;

I would chose to live in Sunnyshore City because of the electricity hookup, near the water, and it's a city.

Zhanton
14th July 2009, 3:45 AM
(I was just about to make this thread yesterday. Beaten.)

I would live in Snowpoint, because I love the music there (lol) and its a nice quiet town. And nearby are Snorunt - the coolest (hah, pun) ice-type pokemon. Either there or in Veilstone, mainly because it has the game corner, department store and looks cool.

Canalave, love the music, the books, and it's Sinnoh's portal to the rest of the world.

I think Sunyshore. I've always liked how that town looked.

Bobblefighter
14th July 2009, 12:35 PM
Floroma town. Sunny, relaxing, lots of awesome Honey and therefore the opportunity to get Heracross and Munchlax and secluded.

Gold.Silver
14th July 2009, 12:44 PM
I like quiet places or without too many people.
Floaroma Town for the nature and SnowPoint City cos I love cold weather!
I've never seen/touch snow in real life though :(

Flamer
14th July 2009, 1:02 PM
Snowpoint would be fun for a few days, but living there the whole time would be rubish.

Probably one of the large cities, like Jubilife or Hearthome. I live in London and really like the whole variety of things to do. It may be busy and all that, but your never bored, which is very nice.

SHINY CATCHER
14th July 2009, 1:08 PM
I'd have to live in Floaroma Town because of it being close to nature and its connection with Grass type pokemon

Ash-kid
14th July 2009, 1:12 PM
Near MT Coronet, where the Cafe-store

OmegaPit
14th July 2009, 1:42 PM
It would have to be Snowpoint City. It has Ruins that you could try and sneak into, powerful Ice type pokemon... but apart from that it's kinda boring but hey, I like a calm and peaceful life.

LiteBlue-

your very used to hot climates, so going to a cold one would be a shock to your system.

14th July 2009, 4:43 PM
Either hearthome or florama, for obvious reasons:)

rainbowralts
14th July 2009, 11:12 PM
Probably Heathrome as well, because it's in the middle of everything. Also, its close enough to the trophy garden so I can catch all those rare pokemon. xD It has the most stuff going for it, like the contest and the park.

Brodioh
15th July 2009, 4:49 AM
Florama Because it's peaceful, Snowpoint Because I've only been to the snow once in my life or Sunnyshore because it's near the water

Old Chateu ( without all creepy stuff of course!) i would jogg every morning in the forest.. and the city is very near..... and i dont know.. i kinda love the misty places... Celestic Town maybe.. but it seems preety boring there

Escape Reality
15th July 2009, 12:20 PM
Or maybe with Cynthia in the Pokemon League...I'm sure they're not standing all day waiting for challengers, they must have a bed there.....

i don't think they actually live in the building where they take on challengers. i bet you they have their own home and go to the e4 building the next day.

i'd live with cynthia! *hugs cynthia* :D she's my favorite pokemon character. ;)

Shadow Tepi 8
15th July 2009, 2:20 PM
I would probably live at Sunnyshore because it's situated right next to the sea. Perhaps Canalave as well, for the same reasons as Sunnyshore and the existence of the Canalave library.

Veilstone or Jubilife.
Based on the anime, Port Valor.

WynautQueen
15th July 2009, 3:04 PM
The Villa, of course! It's out of the way, near the ocean, and has plenty of space.

If not that, probably Sunyshore.

SilverLanayru
15th July 2009, 3:08 PM
For me, I'd probably choose to live in Jubilife, Canalave, or Sunnyshore Cities. I sometimes like to live close by the waters. :]

Silent Conversation
15th July 2009, 3:12 PM
I would say either Veilstone because I like big, major cities, or Hearthome because it could be fun to be able to compete in and watch contests all the time.

ElectiCrow
15th July 2009, 4:35 PM
Sunnyshore, here are my reasons:

1) It's awesome!
2) It's run totally by Solar Power,
3) It's awesome!
4) It has the Electric type gym, my fav type,
5) It's close to the sea,
6) It's awesome!

The Underground...
The thread asks where you would live in Sinnoh and the Underground basically Sinnoh underground.

Reasons:
1) You basically have your own living space down there *cough*secret base*cough*
2) You live a life of a hermit
3) Very bad homeland security
4)TREASURES!!!(which you can sell if you have an overabundance of Rare Bones, Star Pieces, etc.)
5) It BELONGS to ME!!! (Basically, since no one in-game goes down there except Traders)
6) I can strike anywhere I want (If you ever thought about it, it's true. You can't possibly return back to the surface of Pastoria when you're right under Eterna City. I don't know what Nintendo was thinking.)

sunnyshore seems to be quite the popular place to live. ;) if things keep up as they are, the city will need to be expanded. :o

If the government doesn't allow to live underground, I would probably live on Stark mountain. Yes, so I've heard, the pollution is bad up there, but who cares?

Maybe live on Rt. 222.
1) The beach is right outside my door.
2)Close to three cities: Sunyshore, Pastoria, and Veilstone.

I'd love to live in Canalave City. It's got a library full of ancient myths and stories! It's also close to Iron Island and the Moon Islands. :3

Aquarelle
24th July 2009, 10:51 AM
I like nearly all the cities/towns in the game, so it's hard for me to choose just one place.

I would probably choose a place like Sandgem, because it is small and quiet, yet known to many other people because of its lab and beach. Or maybe somewhere like Canalave, because it's pretty and reminds me of Venice.

I know that I would definately not live in a place like Snowpoint, because it's too cold, or Jubilife, because it is too big and too busy.

Wow, I'm pretty sure every town has been said except for the one I'm about to say. xD Oreburgh. I would totally love to live in Oreburgh. It's so close to everything. Floaroma, Sandgem, Eterna, and Hearthome are all so close. You have Mt. Coronet, the Cycling Road, Wayward Cave, the Oreburgh Mine. Not to mention the awesome museum and being able to revive fossils. ^___^ Plus, there's lots of hustle and bustle while still being generally small. (Not too mention Roark is there... <3 hehehe)

And if Not Oreburgh, Floaroma. Love it there. So pretty and you've got some windmills and drifloon adjacent. ^_^ Or I'd spend my tiem split between Snowpoint and my villa in the resort area, to keep the balance of gorgeous and cold to relaxed and warm. :)

But, yeah, main choice would be Oreburgh. :D -rebel w00t-

I would probably say Sunyshore City. It's right by the ocean, it's got a beach, and it's always sunny. My kind of place! My second choice would be the Resort Area, I think. It's always really relaxing, and I actually spend a lot of time in my Platinum game just hanging around the Villa, fishing or doing something like that.

1. Sunyshore City for it's great scenery, usage of electricity and beach.

2. Eterna City for it's history, the town is peaceful and a bike shop.

3. Snowpoint City: anywhere with snow and history is an awesome place for me.

4. Canalave City: it's passion of books is great, and I would love to see Iron Island.

5. Jubilife City: the technology there is so advanced. Plus a possibility of being on tv, can't pass that up.

6. Twinleaf Town: The same type of peace of Eterna, and close to a lake too!

I'd either choose Sunyshore City or Snowpoint City. Sunyshore is near the ocean, has a lighthouse, has the seals market, a gym with an awesome gym leader, it's near the pokemon league, and it is near Lake Valor. Also, Team Galactic hasn't attacked the city.
Snowpoint is like where I live now, in a sense. Also, it has a gym too. It has the Snowpoint Temple and the lake near it. Also I'd be able to meet some ice type pokemon easily.

Other than that maybe Sunyshore City or Jubilife City. Both large developed cities.

I would most likely would live in Sunnyshore or Snowpoint. I would live in Snowpoint simply because I like the snow. I always liked the cold, and from the graphics Snowpoint does not get much in the wind department. Sunnyshore would be my other option because I love the water. They are complete opposites, but both hold their appeal.

Oh, yes! Now that you mention it, there is somewhat of a resemblance.

Hmm... if I were to make my home in Sinnoh, I think I'd like to live in Floaroma. It'd be quiet and peaceful, but it's reasonably close to Jubilife, so it'd be easy to visit if I wanted some time in the big city.

9th February 2010, 5:04 PM
That's actually a really difficult question...

Twinleaf would be too dull I'd think, same with Sandgem (plus, I don't the beach) and Floaroma.
Jubilife would be nice cos I like big cities.
Eterna and Celestic are too historically rooted, it'd get boring all too quick.
Hearthome, same as Jubilife, but with more to do.
Vielstone = game corner = crime = no.
Pastoria is nice a natural, bit muddy though.
Canalave would be nice - some of the posts I've read convince me it wouldn't be a bad choice ^.^
Sunyshore would be like a boring version of Jubilife I think.
The Fight Area with the BF would be awesome!
The Survival Area with the Battleground would be nice for a while, but boring quick.
The Resort Area... well I already got a villa there so I don't need to live there lol

Mmm... I think considering all that, Hearthome or Canalave would have to be my choices. Hearthome cos of Contests, amity Square, Berry Master, big city, near the Mansion - just lots to do all round (well, more than in other towns) ^.^ makes me wonder if they should make the towns bigger and with more in them...?

Glaciage
13th February 2010, 3:48 AM
Snowpoint City because I'm already used to the snow and I don't think I could live without it! Plus there's ice-tpe pokemon there! If not there, then I'd live in the cottage beside Ice Rock.

I have three places that I'm considering moving to.

1. Mt. Coronet, since the mountain views are beautiful.

2. Snowpoint City, since I have grown up in a snow-less state and I want a change of climate.

3. Sunyshore City, since it seems to have a nice climate and a relaxed atmosphere. Plus, it's by the beach!

Not an easy question...
I like water types the best, so propably somekinda calm place where I could meet those and listen the waws.
First place in my mind is Valor Lakefront or Canalave City.
Not a fan of Pastoria city, since it seems too...junglish or swampish to me.

lately I've began finally like the grass type too, so on other hand I'd like to live somewhere like that.
Twinleaf or Sandagem perhaps, since they're near the lake...

But my no. 1 would propably be the Valor Lakefront.
It looks so much like a port from 1950 or something...
Pretty cool place.

Sunyshore maybe; I think it looks the nicest of all the cities. Floarama is too small, as is Twinleaf and Sandgem town. Jubilife city is too industrialized and grey, and Oreburg/Eterna City/Celestic Town/Hearthome are too rustic. The DayCare couple place has too many cowboys, Veilstone is too grey, and Canalave is too much ocean to bear (and I feel like it would be the cold type of oceanic city; btw Snowpoint is too isolated).

Probably Eterna City, I like the Gym leader and it would be nice place to train. Or the Resort area if I was a good trainer.

In Snowpoint City, because I love winter and snow <3!
Then I would go out and play with my Pokemons every day...And of course I would go for a walk to snowy forest too <3!
