I played pokemon for a while when it started but I stopped playing a little while after the Fossil series came out, now I found out I can't use my old cards!!! My Son and nephew recently got interested so I bought a few theme decks. and I'd like to know how well this one will play. (it's actually 2 ignition decks put together with a few old trainers)

2 x Arcanine G
2 x Camerupt G
4 x Raticate G
4 x Surskit
4 x Masquerain
4 x Bulbasaur
3 x Ivysaur
2 x Venusaur

4 x Bebe Search (too many I think)
1 x Stevens advice (all I have)
2 x potion
1 x energy retreival (outdated?)
1 x Super energy removal (outdated?)
1 x Energy Search (I have a ton of these)
1 x Prof elm training (all I have)

15 x Grass Energy
9 x Fire Energy


I wanted to put in 3 or 4 Scythers (jungle) but from what I've read I can't do that. Is there a new pokemon that I could replace him with? (Grass, Basic, 70+ HP, no retreat cost) I'd really like to know if the cards I'm using are good at all, don't know much about all the new stuff. and are double colorless energy's still available?

Sycther's only in Jungle or Platnium1.
I'd take out the Sursikt/Maskurain for them.
Keep the 4x Bebe's...& get some Roseanne's Research...& another ;003;

yer Light Venusaur is correct, the Surskit and Maskurain are rubbish and put there to fill the slot.
