I just got my first REAL Pokemon cards last week, and changed around some cards in the deck. I was wondering what some cards to add would be.
Everything that is not listed is from HeartGold SoulSilver Ember Spark theme deck.

Pokemon:
Cyndaquil x3
Quilava x2
Typhlosion x1
Growlithe x3
Arcanine x1
Torchic x1 - Platinum
Hoothoot x3
Noctowl x1
Eevee x1 -Majestic Dawn (Gnaw)
Jolteon x1- Majestic Dawn
Mareep x3
Flaaffy x2
Pikachu x2
Raichu x1 (Slice)

Trainers/Supporters
Professor Oak's New Theory x2
Copycat x1
Pokemon Communication x2
Switch x2
Pokemon Reversal x2
Moomoo Milk x2

Energy:
Fire x14
Lightning x10

I like all my Trainers and Supporters, but I know there are much better ones out there.
I'm also wondering if I should take out 2 fire energies and put in 2 lightning. Or just put in more energies.
I was thinking of putting these cards in particular in, so can you guys tell me if they're good?
Typhlosion Prime
Ampharos
Combusken
Blaziken

Why not just run plain Typhlosion/Typhlosion Prime?

4-2-4 Typhlosion (3 Prime, 1 GS good sweeper, otherwise another Prime)
2-2 Ninetails GS (Or 2-2 Claydol GE, whichever you prefer)
2 Crobat G
2 Uxie LA
2 Ambipom G (Typhlosion discards opponent's energy, so this makes a nice attack to hit for a nice ammount of damage for one energy and a gain.)
1 Azelf LA

2 Felicity's (Exchange for Engineer's Adjustments for MD on)
4 Roseanne's (Exchange for 2 Cyrus's Conspiracy and 2 Collector for MD on)
4 Poketurn
4 Rare Candy
2 Broken Time-Space
4 Pokedex
2 Bebe's Search
1 Palmer's
1 Night Maintenance (Exchange for another fire for MD on)
1 Luxury Ball
2 Warp Point
1 Energy Gain

2 Cyclone Energy
9 Fire

Well I am assuming Typhlosion Primes are slightly hard to get, so... O.o
Plus, I don't really want to make a new deck, which is pretty much what I'd be doing except for Typhlosion...

They are, but their really cheap. Plus, you can get them in tins.

It's not really a new deck, it's basicly filtering out all the useless stuff. (Raichu, Jolteon, etc.)

I still don't have enough money to buy all those cards though, because I'm only a kid...
(And Raichu was my best card...)

Don't worry, you're deck looks alright for a beginer's one. If you don't have enough money for newer cards then can you list what extra cards you do have so we can work from there?

^That's a nice idea, but I'd also try making a list pretending you had 4 of every modified card in the world so that when you DO have money, you know what to buy.

Hey, I'm back, and WHEN DID SKITTY CHANGE KONATA TO CARAMELLDANSEN??????????????

anyways.......Ninetales is definitely better, and dont worry if you are a kid, Pokemon is for all ages. I recommend Using NIdoprince's idea to try out in casual/semi-competitive play and see for yourself...
