Behind the story: wanting to write a fanfic but everything ells seeming to fall out and die, I have had success with finishing fanfics that invovle one of my top fav pokemon. deciding to go back I wrote out a plot line for him that really touched me. Something that seemed to break down to the very soul.
This story is going to try and touch feelings and emotions, bring out heartbreak and drama. Though I probably will suck at it very much.
It is rated for violance, drama and dark lonely themes.
I will hopefully update every friday from now on (skipping the first coming friday) if I get no reviews for this first post it wont stop me from posting at least the next two chapters. If I still get nothing then I will probably drop posting it at all. I'm a young writer guys, I need the encourenge ment or at least someone saying they at least read it.
but this story is special to me... I dedicate it to all those fans out there who want more in pokemon then what the makers give us
Thinking up upping the story to R

Alone, so alone, no one understands me, no one cares about me. I am alone. Oh so alone. I had everything taken from me, not that I had much. My soul aches to be loved but not the love of a lover but the love of a family…
I never want to be hurt again.
The soft coo of a bird could be heard in the silent forest. The tall trees traveled as far as the eye could see. The lone mountains forbidden and topped with soul freezing soul, the forest filled with powerful creatures none could capture.
This was his home.
The sun barely touched this place for the sky was always shrouded with clouds. The mountains trapped clouds above so that the sun could not shine.
The roar of the hunt was heard as carnivores chased down there prey. The cry of a bird of prey screeched over head and would send shivers down a weak souls mind.
And oh what a home it was.
The tall mountain standing against the clouded sky was the home of a creature most had forgotten. Most knew nothing about. A powerful monster that just wanted peace and to be left alone, and oh how it was alone, very alone
Standing alone in the empty night looking out from his hollowed out cave, one he had created himself. His powers filled him inside and out; most could no longer stand his presence, feeling weak around him.
A being of power, a god if I may say, I could rule this world and yet I do nothing but hide… hide from those who would find me a threat and I grow weary. The dark lonely soul’s voice said. His violet eyes staring at the forest below, the howls of the hunt and the growls of the hunted could be heard.
This place was no place for humans and so he had claimed it as his own.
His long tail curved around himself, with a strange bulb like growth on the end. His body strange and seeming unnatural to this world. Two large legs much like a kangaroo’s supported his body. His body was soft gray while his belly and tail a dark purple. His arms were longer then normal, if you could call them normal, while the three fingers on each paw like hand were fat and rounded.
Two strange horns came from his head matched the color of his skin, a long snout and a cat like nose made him see almost feline, yet at the same time not. A second neck came from the back of his head connecting to the nape of his neck, just below the primary one.
This was a man made creature. Cloned and shaped to fit the purpose he won’t accept.
A copy, a fake, yet more powerful then anyone could imagine.
His name was mewtwo, the second of a creature called mew. A playful god pokemon who kept the peace in the world… but seemed to be failing as man grew.
Mewtwo had once tried to take this world as his own, finding man a disease on its plains. But then a boy had stopped him, a mere boy had showed him the truth.
And again the boy had shown him the error of his ways, and even went so far as to save his life. Mewtwo hated owing his life to a human but then again, he always owed humans his life.
Tired violet eyes closed as he turned to enter the cave. To hide his shame, his failure and his life but paused as he glanced back.
Something that was not a pokemon had fallen from the heavens into the forest, and somehow he knew at once whatever it was, was a threat.
Chapter one: An even match
My review: This was suppose to be the first chapter but since mewtwo really isn't suppose to come in tell later in the first chapter really I made it even before the first. One of my better writings I must say...
I give it three stars out of 6 (not rating stars, I like to rate my own work XD)

Okay! Mewtwo in story (Your story) + A Mewtwo fan (Moi)=...
Yes! Another story involving Mewtwo! And I'm a Mewtwo fan!
*Calms down* Good prologue (although it is a bit short), and I liked the way you've described Mewtwo's feelings. I hope the future chapters are as good as this, so keep it up. Well done.

its not friday but I wont have time tomorrow so here is chapter one. it brings up lotsa questions :P
EDIT: warning, there is some nudity but it isn't explained in detial it just mentions that there is no clothing. There isn't any naughty stuff or anything :P oh you'll see.
Chapter 1: An even match.
A small crater lay where a group of trees once grew. The tops of trees behind the crater were snapped as whatever had come down had evidently struck and had broken them them.
Slowly a strange being stood up. Long black wings folded against its body as yellow eyes looked around. But only one of the wings folded right, while the other hung limply behind it.
It had never been to such a place before. It had never seen trees or plants or mountains before. It was frightened. But it was also very naked.
A shiver ran down the creatures back as it wrapped human like hands around its frail body. The yellow eyes were strange, animal like with cat like slits for pupils.
It gasped for breath and showed for any to see the sharp fangs held in its mouth. The body was very human like, almost exactly except for the wings, the creatures’ eyes and its hidden fangs.
The naked form blinked the yellow eyes as it stepped forward but stumbled. Its memory escaped it while it tried to keep its balance.
It gasped out as its right black wing trembled with pain. Falling to its knees tears filled the creatures’ eyes. It pulled back black hair from its face and the hurt yellow eyes stared up into the heavens.
The creature placed its arms to the side while it looked up towards the heavens.
The slender form and graceful legs showed it was a female. A very thin female with a body covered in strange scars.
They were jagged and some looked like she had been tied far too long.
Suddenly the creatures’ yellow eyes narrowed as ‘she’ spun around and glared at the newcomer. The wounded human like creature tried to spread her wings to show she wasn’t going to let anything take her down but winced again as the pain ached her.
Violet eyes narrowed as the psychic aura flared showing that he was not going to back down either. The gray and purple clone bared his fangs knowing it was a warning. But then he paused, this creature, this naked being before him wasn’t a pokemon but was it human? It… no she looked human. The small female form and bare skin, black hair that went to her shoulders and possible thumbs… this thing, whatever it was, was indeed very human like.
But then again there was the fact that she had large black wings, though one seemed to be injured, and as the female whatever it was bared her fangs in response to his warning he knew very well…
This thing was not a pokemon nor was it human.
But then… what is it?
Mewtwo raised his rounded fingered hands, trying to show he wasn’t about to harm the female but she didn’t understand. She was in pain and he had come on her without any warning.
She let out a growl as she pushed off the ground and lunged for the clone taking the first chance to attack. Although surprised, Mewtwo easily dodged the sudden attack as the strange winged woman landed on the side of a tree trunk. She stayed there hunched over, her hands gripping so hard they were tearing the bark. Her knees bent as she supported herself with her toes.
Stop this foolishness, came mewtwo’s deep voice as he lifted his hand, a purple light shown around his finger showing his psychic powers.
The purple light took hold of the winged creature and she couldn’t help but let out a loud screech.
Mewtwo flinched because of it. It was a cry he had never heard before. It caused his ears to ache and his powers to withdraw dropping the woman to the ground. With a thud she let out a whimper of pain showing she was hiding it all along.
Mewtwo cocked an eyebrow as he eyed the creature lying in a heap of feathers and whimpers in front of him. Was… was she crying?
A strange feeling overcame the clone as he felt rather guilty inside. He hadn’t meant to cause her harm, whatever she was. He sensed fear and anger… lost inside her.
He stepped forward leaning his face down to get a better look at the form on the forest floor. The forest had grown quiet as the pokemon within knew a fight between two equals had started and they did not want to get in the way.
Do not cr-, Mewtwo was cut off as the creature snapped her face up, looking right up at him. A sly grin appeared on her face, revealing her sharp fangs. The clone had fallen for her trap as she leaped forward, managing to wrap her legs around his chest before sinking her fangs into his side.
Mewtwo let out a startled and pain filled cry, not a psychic cry but a real cry, with his true voice, which was horse and deep. It escaped him in a roar that caused a flock of fearow to take to the sky from fear and shock. Mewtwo felt his psychic power flare up as the winged woman was thrown from him her back slamming into a tree.
She, knowing she could not fool this creature twice, got to her feet. Her right wing was limp behind her once again as her normal one folded neatly against her back.
Mewtwo would have found it hard to handle a human like creature who was naked but the rage boiling inside him made him forget it.
He growled in his psychic voice as he touched his shoulder, he withdrew his hand and stared at the strange liquid that was his blood. She had bitten him… not only that it was an attack. She had used bite.
The clone had, had enough of this! He wanted answers and he wanted them now!
With that he flung his hand forward, his power gripping the woman by surprise. She let out a startled cry as she was flung away from the pokemon and into another tree.
She struggled to break free of mewtwo’s hold. While Mewtwo strained to keep her from escaping his psychic grasp. She is both weary and afraid… that was the only reason she couldn’t break free.
Mewtwo lifted his hand up into the air causing the winged woman to rise up also. She let out a strange inhuman cry upon seeing that she was high from the ground and her wings were useless.
Mewtwo couldn’t help but smirk, he had to admit. Even though it was wrong there is some joy in having control over something.
“Ssssstttooppp” a horse whisper came from out of the winged beings mouth. Mewtwo froze.
She could speak? Then why hadn’t she spoken before? Why was she attacking him when he had shown he was no threat before? If this creature‘s intelligent enough to speak in the human’s language... then why?
But mewtwo had taken to much time to think as the creature seemed to be growing more and more afraid and weary and without warning, her head dropped. Looking up Mewtwo noticed that his hold on her had taken his toll and she had passed out.
Then sleep whatever you are… I will find my answers from you later. Mewtwo spoke as he lowered her to the ground. Gently he lifted her again with his powers.
But first we should get you some clothing… he added, Mewtwo felt a little embarrassed seeing such a human creature in the nude but he didn’t think she even understood much of herself or this world.
It only took a few minutes to return to his little home, the deep cave he had created within the tall mountain. He lowered the woman onto his bed, which was made of grass and other plants for his comfort.
He stared down at her as she lay limply on his bed. Her breaths were deep and seeming to still not get enough air into her body.
Her broken wing lay rather un-natural as her other seemed to fold out trying to keep the woman warm. She didn’t look very old, twenty maybe.
Mewtwo tilted his head to the side slightly as he examined the strange creature that had come to him. She seemed to be even more lost then he was when he first awoken.
Was she some kind of experiment like he? Or was she some kind of creature lost to man and pokemon kind? Maybe she was a form of legendry… like mew.
He paused as a strange thought entered his mind.
Maybe she was a fallen angel. Mewtwo couldn’t help but shake his head at this thought, an angel. Of all strange things to happen that would be the last.
He paused as the un-named woman stirred in her slumber, her body regenerating after the hard fall and fight.
He needed to way to bind her; no doubt she would attack him again if given the chance. But he had no way of keeping her here and from her attacking him. Plus she needed clothing.
He stood to his full height and walked slowly to the mouth of the cave. He looked out over the gray sky knowing that this forest may be dangerous but there were some humans. On the very edge of the forest was a watch tower, rangers stayed there keeping trainers and poachers from touching this powerful and endangered place.
No doubt they would have something to cloth this woman with, or at least a blanket. She had no fur to keep her warm at night and with an injured wing she would have a hard time flying for warmer places.
And who knows how long it would take for him to get her to speak to him again and for him to keep her under control.
He knew what he should do, turn her lose let her leave and do as she pleases. But… her voice, when he spoke to her showed how afraid she was, how lost and alone. And he knew how she felt.
He didn’t want her making the same mistakes he had.
With that the clone vanished in a psychic puff as he left to fetch clothing and other things to tend to his find.
Mewtwo at this moment decided to make it his purpose to make sure this creature never faces what he has faced.
Nothing deserved that.
Chapter two: Tied to hate
I wish it was longer :P but they will get longer deeper into the plot. tell next friday!
10th December 2004, 8:02 AM
Don't make it longer, it's good short like that. Anyways, it's good so far. A few errors but well written. Nice job, Myuu! ^_^
10th December 2004, 1:08 PM
The length is fine the way it is, Myuu.
It was good, but I spotted some spelling and grammar mistakes and I found this chapter a bit odd but in a good way.
And I have a prediction that something 'friendly' is gonna come between those two characters... or something hateful.
*Turns to Ed* Ed, what do you think?
Ed: *groans dyingly* uuuhhh hhhuuuuhhh...
So you agree with me? Cool.
17th December 2004, 5:34 AM
Oookay interesting...wouldn't have expected Mewtwo to act like that.
Like, the only problems I found were the small spelling errors appearing in various places, little tinyyyy grammar mistakes as well as...sentence fragments. Although they too can be a part of the story, sometimes it just won't fit...hm.
Other than that, interesting, the way you made...(now this is the part that freaked me out)..Mewtwo blush in front of a woman. That just...gave me thoughts. Seriously. o.O;
But still, originality is something to credit for, as well as the new introduction of the strange character. Something definitely eye pleasing; keep it up with the second chapter! I don't know why, but Mewtwo is hawt here. ^_~ XD
17th December 2004, 5:51 AM
Hmm really interesting.. haven't come along with this sort of fic before, um yeah what LP said, little grammer mistakes and all, but still good, can't wait to see what happens next
17th December 2004, 8:08 AM
I really should proof read my chapters, I would catch those things then but sadly, I write it late at night and so by time I get done its one o'clock and I'm passing out XD
the fragments are like... aaahhhh go away! and I try to fix them or re-word them as best I can but somtimes I just can't do a thing.
Lily: Mewtwo is always hot. And he was raised around humans and is use to human standerds when it comes to clothing. So when he sees a naked one @.@ yeah blush.
Chapter two: tied to hate.
A cold wind blew as the clouds overhead swirled, unable to past the mountain tops to continue there path.
They were heavy with rain.
Wait no worse.
It wasn’t rain. It was Snow.
Mewtwo growled in his throat as he flouted above the building that belonged to the rangers.
The humans who were trying to hard to protect this place were able to get there country to put this land under protection. Now it was a wild life reserve for pokemon, but it was more like forbidden land and it should be.
The pokemon here were very strong, they could stand against Mewtwo, even if it was for a bit.
The tower was built high above the ground, to keep unwanted guests out and to be able to see those who would harm this place coming from a mile away.
He was hoping they would have some kind of shack or shed or something. Something to store things in emergency but no they didn’t have anything like that.
He would have to go inside, and in there were humans. The last thing he needed was a mess like that.
The clone flouted down slowly landing on the outside of the tower. There was a boardwalk around the outside so the rangers could walk around and look at the forest below.
He could see inside through some windows and the clone had to duck down a few times. There were only two inside, two rangers. A male and female, the male was napping and the female was making something. Some sort of drink.
Mewtwo saw this as he glanced through a window. He then saw that there was a lower level below this watch tower. Probably a living area, where those who wanted to rest could go.
Mewtwo guessed that’s where the things he would need would be.
Mewtwo vanished as he teleported inside the building. Not sure where he would land, or what on, he found himself falling onto a bed. Well more like a cot.
Mewtwo lay there a second, it was an odd sight to see such a large powerful creature lying on a cot but it didn’t last long as Mewtwo got to his feet quickly and shrugged a little trying to relax.
He was the most powerful pokemon in the world, then why did he find it so nerve racking to be inside a humans den?
Mewtwo didn’t like the scent of humans all over the place and just seeing this kind of stuff brought back memories of his hard past.
I must get this over with... he grumbled as he moved over to a coat rack. He eyed the large coat that belonged to one of the rangers, probably used it in the winter when it got very cold.
Deciding that if anything it’s what the woman would need. He took it down and laid it over his arm. He then turned to what looked like some kind of clothing holder… drawers was open and he could see human clothing inside. Mewtwo had never needed or seen a dresser unless you counted the times he had read a human’s mind. He lifted his hand out and pulled the drawer out farther eyeing the contents inside.
He wasn’t sure if these where the right things for the woman but then again he wouldn’t know. He put his hand inside and dug around wondering if he should find something different.
He pulled out what looked like a long pair of pants. Unknown to the clone was that they were gray jogging pants. Adding this to his newly found coat Mewtwo dug around deeper pulling out what looked like a female human shirt. It was black and thin, the sleeves were short but they were there.
He added this as well before deciding to look at a different drawer. Mewtwo’s eyebrow rose as he lifted up a very thin small piece of cloth. He didn’t know what it was for but who knew what humans wore.
He placed it on top of the pile and then paused as he pulled out a strange device. Two straps hooked to what looked like two cups yet they were made out of cloth. There were two lose straps in the back that seemed to hook together.
Not even this wise creature figure out what this was for. He turned it around looking at it oddly with curiosity like a kitten.
The clone froze in his examination and glanced up as he saw a light coming from the stairs across the room and someone descending the steps.
It was a young female human, looked like she was a tad older then the strange creature he had found. Though they were around the same size and height, yet this human had light blonde hair and green eyes. Wearing the brown jacket and pants of a forest ranger, the young lady glanced up feeling she wasn’t alone and Mewtwo’s and the girl’s eyes met.
“W-w-what are you doing with my bra?” She stuttered out and focused her eyes. “What in the world are you?”
Being a ranger she had to be prepared for anything strange. She almost thought it was some insane poacher who was dressed up in some costume.
Mewtwo knowing he had out lasted his stay, swiftly moved over to the cot and snatched up the blanket.
He laid it on his clothing pile and lifted his hand up to the girl.
Forget was all that the clone said as a glazed look came over the woman’s face. By time she snapped out of it Mewtwo was gone.
Appearing in a flash Mewtwo found himself at the mouth of his cave. He glanced in feeling a little on edge. He didn’t know if the woman was awake or not, or if she had tried to leave the cave.
He didn’t see anything strange on the dirt below him. Just his own footprints and a few twigs.
He put his other arm under the pile of clothing. He heard a jingle sound come from the coats pocket the clone lifted the coat away from the pile as he held it in one hand and the pile in the other.
He shook it and the jingle sound was heard once again. The clone raised an eyebrow at the strange sound coming from the coat. Deciding he could investigate inside the cave and noticing the snow starting to fall he headed inside where it was a tad warmer.
He saw that his strange find was still sleeping on his bed. Her body curled into a ball and her bad wing still lying limply from her back. Her body shivered from the cold and her face looked like she was in some great pain.
Deciding to do one thing first he placed the clothing on the ground and picked up the blanket. He unfolded it and tossed it out laying it over the woman’s body.
She let out a whimper at feeling something touch her but remained in her state.
Mewtwo eyed her for a second, wondering how he was going to handle that broken wing when he remembered the jingle from the pocket.
He turned back to the pile of clothing. Bending down and picking the pile back up and went a little farther in his home-made cave.
He placed the clothing once again down but this time onto a flat top boulder. He rummaged through the clothing until he pulled out the coat. Sticking his hand into the pocket he felt cold metal rub against his fingers.
He withdrew his hand at once clutching the strange metal object in his hand.
Something clicked in his mind from a memory he had read.
Handcuffs? He asked himself as he found the key within the pocket as well. This must have been used in case the rangers did catch anyone who was not supposed to be on the property.
He turned to look at the woman’s sleeping form. He wasn’t sure if these man made objects could hold a creature such as her but then again. He would have to try if she would not be calm.
With that he started folding the clothing and once he was done, with the clothing called a ‘bra’ and the small other piece on top placed them beside the woman.
Mewtwo went to the mouth of the cave realizing the heavy snow fall coming down. He didn’t really notice the cold to much, he guess he was made to withstand it.
He turned his gaze back to the shivering soul on his bed. The clone turned his body around and looked at the ‘angel’ that had come into his possession.
Mewtwo bent down looking at her closer, he placed his hands on his over size rounded knees as he eyed her.
Her eyes under her eyelids moved quickly underneath. Back and forth, back and forth, she was dreaming.
Mewtwo was intrigued at this; he wanted to know what she was dreaming.
He slowly reached out a hand, knowing that she wasn’t pokemon nor human it might be odd for him to scan her mind. But the curiosity of knowing got to him. His hand brushed her black hair as his hand touched her forehead.
Mewtwo focused his eyes, the started to glow a bright light purple as his mind mixed with this winged woman.
Dark, the darkness… so much… never ending… pain… loneliness… anger… rage…
Mewtwo froze, this wasn’t her thoughts… these were… his.
He could feel her mind fill his own. Her anger and rage at him for trying to probe her mind. There minds fought back and forth, this was there true strength. What lay behind there flesh was there thoughts… the minds.
And they were fully equal.
Mewtwo let out a gasp as his eyes snapped open. He looked down seeing the face of the woman looking at him.
He knew she had tried to look at his mind when he tried to look at hers and in the end… they had learned nothing of each other.
The yellow eyes narrowed at him as the woman tried to get to her feet but faltered. Her body still recovering from the shock of the time earlier, her body fell back onto the bed the blanket draped over her wings.
A cry of pain echoed through the cave as she felt the pain race up her wing.
Mewtwo was gasping for breath and barely noticed as the woman tried to stand again and again failed.
He was to busy trying to calm himself and his aching mind down.
After a moment his gaze turned to the woman as she struggled under the blanket, her form huddled some as she felt weak and defenseless against this monster.
He stood to his full height showering he was dominant over her. Her eyes watched him, showing she knew he had control over her and that she was at his mercy.
Mewtwo pointed his hands at the clothing. His rounded fingers lifting up the first things, the woman’s underclothing, not that he knew what it was for but he hoped she would.
Put these on then the rest, it will keep you warm. He spoke coldly to her. Showing he was not going to let her win over him.
Her gaze stared at him and slowly looked at the clothes. Mewtwo lowered his hand laying the clothing beside her.
She snapped her gaze back to Mewtwo as she slowly picked up the two small pieces of woman’s under clothing. She looked at them a moment wondering how to use them. After a moment of staring she tossed them aside deciding they were not important enough. Mewtwo wanted to growl at her but when she picked up the shirt and seemed to understand what it was he decided to just watch.
She held the shirt in front of her, eyeing it a moment before looking at Mewtwo. She gave him a hiss which caused him to glare. It took a moment before she slip the shirt over her head and it was on. She hisses as she realized the shirt wasn’t made for wings and quickly pulled it off. She looked at the back of it and did something un-expecting, she ripped it, well more like tore a big gapping hole in the middle of the back of it. It was just bellow the neckline and was a tad jagged hole but at least it didn’t totally ruin the shirt.
She pulled it on over her head again and was able to squeeze her good wing through the hole. Mewtwo couldn’t help but wince in pain as she cried out as she reached her arms back to pull her broken wing through.
Mewtwo was half tempted to try and aid her as she dressed but as he tried to take a step forward a low hiss came from her showing that he may keep her prisoner here but she would never allow him near her.
She now had the shirt on and it was a tad big for her but then again she was a scrawny little thing. She gripped the jogging pants and eyed them like she did the other things.
Deciding that if the shirt went on top then these went on the bottom she lifted her legs up out from under the blanket.
Mewtwo felt warm around his face and couldn’t help but turn his gaze away. He was uncomfortable with a half naked woman in his presence. He was raised around humans after all.
He heard a half cough half growl, like she wanted to get his attention but didn’t want to be polite about it.
Mewtwo turned his gaze back and saw that she sat there on her knees. Now dressed in a black shirt and gray jogging pants, she left the coat alone for now.
The blanket lay around her like a nest as she tilted her head to the side. At least she was calm. But Mewtwo hadn’t forgotten her fake tears when she lunged at him and he kept his distance.
Mewtwo walked to his boulder again, the one he had left the handcuffs behind. He sat down on it his tail curling around his leg. Crossing his arms and raised an eyebrow as the young woman watched him.
Her eyes filled with loath for the clone yet she no longer snarled or growled.
Let’s start this out easy. My name is Mewtwo and you are...?
No answer came from the black winged woman. Mewtwo let out a sigh.
Fine, then. Are you hungry? He asked her another question.
And still nothing came. She just watched him, like she was expecting him to attack and kill her.
I know you can speak… Mewtwo grumbled. And I don’t want to force you but you’re not exactly normal.
She turned her gaze away from him. Mewtwo was shocked at this; she had no reason to do this, this time. She wasn’t getting dressed and didn’t she think he was some kind of threat?
But her eyes were staring at the mouth of the cave. Looking out at the falling snow, she placed her hands on the ground and watched the snow fall. Almost like she had never seen anything like it…
That is snow, its like rain just uh colder. Mewtwo realized that not being able to zap the information into her mind made him a very rotten teacher.
She looked back at him then back at the snow. She pulled the blanket up over her shoulders.
Are you cold? Should I make a fire? He offered. She turned to him her eyes wide in horror. She shook her head in a no; he could see the deep fears in her eyes.
Mewtwo got to his feet in alarm. The winged woman let out a screech in horror and huddled in a ball on the nest.
Alright, no fire then. He said, don’t be afraid… don’t be… your not faking are you?
The woman lifted her head, he could see with the look that she indeed was faking but… there was still fear there. Yes she was afraid of fire, he knew that now.
He felt a little annoyed and angry at the way she was acting.
You know, I’m not letting you win so you might as well tell me your name. The clone growled as he stepped towards her. She gave him a hateful glare before looking back out the cave.
“Crow” she whispered, her voice horse showing it had not been used much.
Crow? Very well then… Crow. You are now my guest and until you are well and give me the information I seek. You are going to remain my guest for a very long time.
She snapped her gaze back at him. Her eyes boiled with the hatred she had for this creature. Mewtwo fully knew she understood him now.
Mewtwo glared back showing that no matter all the hateful looks she gave him.
She was staying.

Very good once again, nice elnght, i like lenght, the longer it is the more chancwe i will read it and the more chance of a story been finished.. anyway good job, i wonde rif Mewtwo knows that Handcuffs are just used for bad guys....
I didn't know Rangers even had Handcuffs but good i can't wait for the next chappie
17th December 2004, 12:46 PM
Interesting chapter. I like how you made it so Mewtwo didn't automatically know what a bra and underwear are. There were a few typos. You had "their" as "there". Anyways, nice job.

Chapter 3: Bird cage
And that is how it was for the next several days. Mewtwo and ‘Crow’ facing off, showing to each other that neither of them planned to back down anytime soon, Crow had tried to make at least two full escapes when Mewtwo was getting food but could never get past the mouth of the cave.
The ground was covered in snow; she was freezing as soon as her bare foot stepped into the white fluff. Her wing was not healing and would not unless it was mended with a sling.
Of course Mewtwo didn’t know how to go about this and was running out of ideas. The woman would not allow him close to her. She would give him a warning hiss saying that if he dared even tried to touch her she would bite a finger off.
Mewtwo knew she was fully capable of this, she wasn’t a dark type (since she wasn’t a pokemon) but she seemed to be able to adapt to some of the attacks used for his weakness. He was sure glad she wasn’t at full strength; he knew that he would have to either kill her or chain her then.
For now she just sat there, on his bed. Which he was missing greatly. Her yellow eyes sent a shiver down the clone’s spine as she watched him walk from one side of the cave to the other.
Mewtwo spun around as he heard movement. But Crow was just ‘nesting down’ as she prepared to sleep.
Pulling the blanket over her whole body, she looked like a lump on the bed if it wasn’t for her limp wing sticking out.
Mewtwo really needed to do something about that.
But he didn’t know how to mend it, yes he remembered stuff from the nurse Joy’s memory but… she wasn’t experienced in this field and so he wasn’t.
Can’t believe I am doing this Mewtwo thought aloud to him as he vanished once again using teleport.
Peeking out from under the blanket yellow eyes looked out seeing that Mewtwo was gone. An amused smirk crossed Crow’s face.
Doctor Jekyll was a young doctor, just starting his career in the medical field and he is all ready very sick of the mister hid jokes.
The young doctor had hair cut just above his ears and chocolate brown eyes. Standing a little taller then six feet he sometimes had problems with doorways.
Wearing a dress maroon shirt and nice kaki pants with a white scientist like jacket underneath, though it wasn’t as long as the normal ones and came a little below his waist, a pair a thin latest style glasses on the tip of his nose. The good doctor sat behind is desk. Being in experienced and fresh out of college didn’t help him get clients.
He wanted to go through a tad more training but this town small town just beyond a forest was in great need of his assistants. There older and well known doctor had passed on and he was here to take his place.
The town’s people didn’t like it and he was having a hard time being accepted.
The bored doctor on a slow day sighed leaning his head back and looking at the plain ceiling.
“I should have stayed in school longer” he grumbled.
The young man sighed again as he pulled himself from his seat and turned to the windows behind his desk.
The office was small, a small desk chair and two large windows half the wall long behind. A few old pictures hung on the walls and a plant on a stand in the corner.
The old computer sat off on the desk. The doctor finding it to slow for his taste and hoping his new one will come soon.
This had been the last doctor’s old room and the shoes he felt he had to fit were too large. He was nervous worried and pretty much drained of energy just from that.
The door to the office opened slowly. Green eye’s peered inside followed by a head of blond hair tied up into a pony tail. Two small strands of bangs hung down from her forehead.
Timothy Jekyll looked over to see his ness; she was barely twelve years old, a bright face covered in soft freckles and a rather large pair of glasses on her nose.
Her clothes were a white t-shirt covered with a pair of green overall shorts. Her backpack was a gray color and was being held up with one strap.
“Hi Uncle Tim” she greeted with a happy smile as she sat her bag down. “Still no one? Not even an emergency?”
The doctor sighed, “Nothing. They just go to the hospital an hour away or bear with it. It is a small town, not much happens” he said as he sat down again. “It seems that I am un-welcomed.” He paused a moment as he saw the young girl frown.
“How was your day?” he asked trying to change the subject. “Boring, lonely… no one would talk to me again, like I was some kind of monster or something… though I do like my classes.” She grinned.
“You’re fitting in better then me at least, Rachael” Timothy smiled. “Maybe you will be able to earn there trust first and then me. I mean, this town is based off superstitions of the forest… strangers seem to be apart of that”
The girl known as Rachael didn’t reply as she turned away. “I’m going to go to one of the storage room; I need some of the stuff there for a project. You mind?” she asked her uncle as she turned the door knob.
“No go on ahead. Oh… wait. Your mother called” the young uncle just remembered. Rachael spun around quickly a surprise and happy grin on her face.
“Oh? What did she say? Why didn’t she call when I was out of school?” she asked rushing up to the desk startling her uncle.
Timothy surprised a chuckle at her sudden energy boost.
But as he remembered the news his face fell some.
“Well… its going to be another few months… maybe two” he sighed, “Your mom is working hard you know, trying to finish school so she can take care of you properly”
A sigh came from the young girl. She turned as tears filled her eyes.
She had all ready been with her uncle six months. He was the youngest brother of her mother’s siblings and the only one who would take care of her. She had been with him for almost six months now.
She loved him a lot and he was like a father to her but… she missed her mom. Living in another country was hard enough but with out even hearing from her weekly was tougher.
“Rachael? Are you alright” asked the concerned uncle as he tried to comfort her but she was all ready walking away.
A sniffle was heard as she went to the door and slammed it behind her. Her uncle sighed and placed his chin on his hand.
“…I hope I get some patients soon… or I won’t be able to take care of you…and who knows where you would go”
The teary eyed Rachael rushed down the halls. Her eyes nearly overflowing with tears but none fell.
She came to the storage room door and paused leaning against the wall beside it. She whipped her teary eyes as her mind wondered.
Her mother… she loved her mother, a young woman at the age of twenty nine. Getting pregnant at the age of sixteen and not able to finish high school was hard on her. The father was an older man she had been ‘dating’ and just had vanished out of the blue. Not that Rachael cared, she didn’t see him as her father and though being twelve was much more mature then she appeared.
Her mother scrounging around to raise a child and trying to keep her head above the water was able to return to school and earned her high school diploma. Now moving on to college she was a busy woman working a part time job and trying to keep up with her studies.
That is when Rachael went to live with her uncle, her other siblings not wanting a child who has no father thinking of there sister as a black ship.
But Timothy wasn’t like that, and when his older sister came on hands and knees bagging him for help and seeing the young girl dressed in clothing to small and glasses to old and fixed with tape.
He couldn’t turn her down and was glad of it now.
But now… her uncle unable to get the money he needs and there savings going fast.
Rachael feared the worst, she even gave up the chance of becoming a pokemon watcher just to help him and support him.
Her eyes looked down at the thought of having to leave her uncle and not being able to return to her mother when a loud thud was heard. Her eyes peered up and turned to the door beside her.
A soft growl was heard from the door was something move inside. The girl blinked wondering if one of the two nurses were having trouble within.
Her hand reached out slowly and opened the door, peering in the girl bite her lip so she would not scream.
A large gray creature with a purple tail and horns seemed to be digging through there supplies. What it was looking for she did not know, why it was looking she did not know.
But by looking at its features she made a guess that it wasn’t normal, not any she had seen before and she knew at least three hundred different species including legends about the legendry pokemon.
That’s when something crossed her mind. Her last birthday, just a few weeks ago her mother had sent her some money, not a lot mind you but with some she got from her uncle and friend’s from her old school she had bought a digital camera.
She slid her hand into her back pack, she was glad she grabbed it before she left the office. Pulling out the device she turned off the flash and hoped the sound wasn’t too loud.
With a fast snap the picture was taken, and was glad that digital camera’s didn’t make much noise.
Mewtwo didn’t even notice; do busy trying to get his fingers free from some bandages.
The clone was startled as the door shut and turned and eyed it. He could have sworn it was closed. Shrugging it off he grabbed the rest of the supplies, hoping he could at least set the wing with what he had gathered and vanished with a flash.
He had no idea a twelve year old girl rushed down the halls holding a rare picture of him.
A flash and a poof and setting himself down was the most powerful pokemon in the world. Mewtwo’s purple tail swung back and forth as he dropped the supplies down. He probably should have gotten some foot for Crow and himself and thought about going to fetch something.
The clone turned around and started to speak when he noticed an empty bed. A blanket lay there on the ground and was cold from the lack of being lade with.
Crow was gone.
Mewtwo flipped around back to the cave mouth and peered out into the snowy forest. A soft snowfall fell now and it was growing colder.
She would freeze to death, he knew it.
But how could he find someone like Crow? Her mind was so different then a pokemon or humans… how could he trace her?
He pondered this a moment before eyeing the ground. A trail of human bare feet led from the cave mouth down the mountain and into the forest.
…I think to hard. Mewtwo thought, not use to using such simple and primitive way of tracking.
Mewtwo walked out of the cave and down the path. It was odd not to fly but decided it would be easier this way.
His two fit hit the ground silently, the cat like padding kept him from making a sound.
The tail was fresh and very easy to follow. He knew she wasn’t used to walking like him. She wasn’t use to snow either so it would add to the ease of finding her… if a pokemon or cold didn’t get to her first.
This thought troubled him more as he journeyed deeper into the forest. Knowing that the farther he went the more likely she was going to find trouble with the hungry houndoom pack that roamed this part of the forest.
He glanced up at the clouded sky and for once he missed the sun and the moon. He hadn’t seemed them since winter hit so hard…. And Mewtwo wasn’t one for the sun.
The psychic clone froze as he noticed the footprints were gone. His eyes scanned back seeing where they stopped. He could see his two toed prints walking beside the ones made by Crow.
He looked around in a circle, his mind spinning on where she could be.
…did a fearow get her? He asked himself as he looked up. He blinked as he noticed a black feather falling down onto the tip of his nose.
He flared his psychic power a tad as he flouted up into the air. Peering around a tree trunk sitting on a tree branch as a shivering form, Crow’s eyes her closed as her arms were wrapped around her body. Her broken wing laid limp and looking worse then before. Slowly her yellow eyes opened, her breath shown in the air as the air grew cooler by the second. Her strange eyes looked at Mew two but she didn’t show in struggle at the sight of him.
She let out a sneeze and closed her eyes again biting her lower lip.
“I hate snow….” She whispered.
I thought you hated fire? He asked but made no notion of touching her.
“I do…” she whispered.
“My scars… they are burns.” She replied. She turned her head away looking away from him. “Go away; I think this is a good place to die”
You think so? Well it’ll be a while before you die from the cold but a pokemon will probably get you first. The houndoom are known to be good at jumping and you’re not that high off the ground. You would be torn apart slowly as one would hold you down. If it was summer they would kill you quick but in winter… that like the warmth of the kill to last as long as possible...
Mewtwo said as he crossed his rounded fingers across his arms. His gaze eyeing the woman as she kept her yellow eyes away from his
“I hate you” she whispered.
I know. But I am helping you anyway.
“…. I hate the cold more…”
Then come back to the cave.
“What if I say no?”
Then you die a slow and painful death.
“Either way it will be painful”
A hurt pride or a dead body, it’s up to you.
“….I really hate you”
She hung her head in defeat as Mewtwo lifted his arms out and gripped around her holding her bridal style.
Mewtwo realized this left his neck open for a deadly bite from Crow but when she just curled up feeling his warmth he sighed and floated back to the cave.
Crow would escape some day, and then he would pay for keeping her prisoner.
Chapter 4: Hurt
if you saw any typos like like: Mew Two or Hoodoo my spellcheck screwed up @.@ I hope I caught it all :P though I read through it really fast and didn't proof read. Sorry for missing last update.

Sorry for the late review heh. ^_^; Meant to review way earlier but . . . yeah.
Anyways . . . A very nice fic Myuu! I love Mewtwo's personality in this (especially when he was getting Crow's clothes for some reason lol) and the plot itself. Though I'm not too sure where this is going plotwise, I do like how its going now (that doesn't make sense but meh).
A few grammatical errors and spelling typos here and there but nothing too major for me to point out.
There were a few sentence fragments in chapter 2 though which I'm not sure if you did on purpose or not . . . Some sentences like that had impact while the others just sounded awkward. But overall, your good in this department as well. Yay. Good variety as well.
I do love how you describe things though. ^_^ Always keeps me in and never goes vague on details and such.
Character development . . . like I said, I love Mewtwo's personality in this fic. Its a nice change from having him flustered at seeing Crow half-naked but it still keeps him IC as well. Crow is an interesting character as well much like Mewtwo. Me still wonders where she came from . . .
And what that picture Racheal took has to do with the plot . . .
And a whole bunch of other things . . . But that's a good thing, me like the foreshadowing. ^^
Anyways, a very nice fic like I said before. I'm going to honestly try and read on in this fic because I'm really interested in seeing where this is going . . . which is pretty rare lol.

Not too shabby. It's original and quite different from your average Pokemon fic.. It is nice to see something without the word Journey or Shipping in the title for once. Yeah like you said the chapters are a bit short but they end at good enough places where there doesn't really need to be anymore. Some punctuation and speling errors but oh well; only human. There seems to be oddly enough description but not that much, it is qeird. There is enough to get a picture in the mind, but then again.. i dunno. It seems to fit the story though, as it is obviously more about feeling than environment and such. I've enver really read too many fics centered around emotion and the feelings of the characters, so yeah. The overall mood seems a bit depressing and gloomy, but that's the way I like things.
Peace and Nightmares.

Great use of descriptions and length, a few spelling and grammar mistakes here and there though.
Overall: Very original, One of the most interesting stories I've ever read.

Very origional story. I loove Mewtwo's personality, and Crow is also quite interesting. There were a few grammar errors, but not too many. Also, I couldn't help but crack up when Mewtwo was getting Crow's clothes^^;;
Overall, a great fic. I'll keep reading, I'm a huge Mewtwo fan!

Yay a update! go me :D sorry kinda lost my writing groove. but for some reason it came back :O
Chapter 4: Hurt
Mewtwo winced as a hacking echoed through out the cave. Huddled under the thin blanket Crow coughed. She wasn’t doing to well, being barefoot in the snow and in not so warm clothing. Mewtwo had to convince her to put the coat on but it still wasn’t working.
He had gotten her home and she conked out as soon as he sat her on his old bed. He was in the means of making himself a new one.
Though the clone wouldn’t admit it, he was at a lost on what to do. He had tried to repair the wing but having no clue how wings work ended up making it worse with a bite to his arm from Crow.
She had returned to making sure he didn’t come near her anymore. Huddling under the blanket for warmth, Mewtwo could see her shiver under the blanket and wished to do more for her.
Slowly he walked over beside the bed, the hours grew late and with it the coldest part of the night came.
Bending down a tad and resting his arms on his knees he looked at the shaking form. He was tempted to speak to her but knew he would only get a snappy comment back or a growl.
He wished he could probe her mind again, see what she has seen and know what she knows. He figured she wasn’t to knowledgeable about the world and either come from a lab or, well not many other choices now.
He needed for find out more but was unsure on how to go about it.
Crow? Asked the kangaroo/cat like clone.
He heard her growl before a small cough came. She didn’t respond any other way.
Do not make me come after you under there growled the clone as he tapped his fingers against his thigh.
Yellow eyes peered out from under the blanket as Crow kept the rest of her face hidden in the shadow of the fabric. She looked like an angry dragon peering out from its cave home as it sneered at an intruder who might be after its gold.
You’re sick. Mewtwo stated rather bluntly.
“No duh” growled the horse voice as she pulled the blanket over her head. “No thanks to you” Crow added.
Mewtwo grumbled as he stood up and walked deeper into the cave, deciding to try and deal with it in the morning.
The morning came all too soon for Mewtwo as he was finding it harder to sleep on cold stone floors. He opened a violet eye and gave an angry glare at the filtered sunlight. It was yet another cloudy day but then again at least the sun wasn’t too bright for Mewtwo’s morning eyes.
Rubbing his eyes like a child just waking up on a Sunday morning the mew clone got to his kangaroo like feet. His muscles annoyed him screaming at him they were not ready to walk but he ignored them as he stretched his arms and let out a cat like yawn showing off a nice set of feline fangs.
Mewtwo’s violet eyes fell on the huddle of blanket as a soft wheezing sound came from it as it slowly rose then fall.
The psychic pokemon walked over to the nest of dried grass and leaves. Bending down sitting on the ball of his knees his two fingered (and one thumbed) hand touched the edge of the blanket. Mewtwo hid a wince as he was expecting Crow to snap at him. She had a six sense about her and always seemed to know when Mewtwo was about to get to close.
But nothing came just the soft wheezing of her sleep. Mewtwo noticed it had gotten worst through the night and gently pulled back the blanket.
This time he really did wince as he saw her broken wing laying in a horrible way beside the shivering body. Her usually dark tanned face was white and clammy while her lips had lost the dark red color.
She slept on her stomach as her back was where her broken wing was attached to. The wheezing sound was coming harder now that the blanket did not muffle it and her eyes were darting underneath her eyelids.
She was dreaming…
Mewtwo’s gaze looked at the fallen angel as he some what thought of her… more like fallen demon.
His eyes narrowed as he lifted the blanket higher and realized she wasn’t wearing her coat. Probably wasn’t something easy to sleep in. He reached out his other hand and grazed her forehead and he paused, clamping his hand down on her head he felt the hot warmth of a body overheating as it fought the dangers that were affecting her.
The clone looked at his hand and wondered if it was really as bad as it felt. He wasn’t a doctor, he didn’t know much about how to tell if someone was sick or dieing unless they were all ready dead. He may be the most powerful being on this planet but he had never felt as useless as he did now.
Mewtwo stood and crossed his arms and shut his eyes. This was one of his ways of thinking. Blocking out all distracting sound he thought about his options. He soon realized there was only two and one of those he dare not do.
With a scoop of his arms he bent down and picked up Crow. Her body still wrapped in the blanket and her head underneath. She mumbled but did not awaken as her broken wing found its way free of the blanket and hung over Mewtwo’s arm.
And with a blink of an eye both of them were gone.
Rachael sat alone in her uncle’s office, some homework sitting in front of her as she stared at the computer screen. On it was a picture of a strange unknown pokemon, something she had been doing research on in her spar time.
Seems that this pokemon was called ‘Mewtwo’ and was believed to be a myth made up by some weirdoes and freaks… anyone could find websites about it but never pictures just rumors and sightings. Though no one ever took it seriously or even knew where it had come from. Most thought that it was made up just for people to believe like many other fake pokemon.
But Rachael had seen it… she had seen it in this very building! She had proof! She looked at her camera and then pulled out one of dozens of copies she had made of the pokemon. She had gotten an ok picture, she had forgotten to zoom out so she couldn’t get a full body shot and just got the upper profile.
Every time she looked at the photo thoughts of what to do with it raced through her mind. Maybe she could sell it and get enough money for her to go home.
Or maybe she could start her own website or find a professor to look at it. She even wondered if the news would be interested.
All these thoughts were pushed into the back of her mind as she heard the door to the office click as her uncle was returning. Quickly she stuffed the picture back into her pocket, she closed the cheesy website and grabbed her pencil and acted as if she was doing her home work.
The tired doctor entered the room with no idea what his niece had been doing as he dropped his suitcase on the floor and plopped down in the chair in front of the desk.
Rachael looked up through her glasses and blinked at her uncle in some confusion.
“What’s wrong?” she asked as she put her pencil down. Dr. Jekyll sighed once again and rubbed his forehead.
“Someone came in today” he mumbled. Rachael gave him an odd look.
“Isn’t that a good thing?” she replied looking very puzzled.
“Only reason the woman came in was to get a ‘check up’ and then complain about how I was doing everything wrong and that I am nothing like there old doctor. Not like it’s gonna bring the old man back” he slightly growled as his fist tightened.
Rachael got up and walked over to her uncle and to his side putting a hand on his shoulder.
“It’s going to be alright” she whispered, “I’m gonna go get something to eat want anything?” she offered.
“Coffee” was all her uncle replied. She nodded and headed out the door and down the hallways of the doctor’s office.
Today the blond young girl was wearing warmer clothes, a green long sleeve shirt with a normal pair of jeans. Her hair was put into one ponytail instead of pigtails.
She came into the small lounge, empty as always but it didn’t bother her really. The only other person here was the nurse; she was an old woman who kept to herself unless she needed to talk to Tim. It seemed she was one of the few who trusted the new people in town but being old and not much for talking she didn’t help them get patients.
The twelve year old walked over to the small table with a pot of coffee and some store bought cookies for the ‘guests’ that came.
She poured a cup of black coffee the way her uncle liked it and grabbed some cookies for her. She paused a second and set the drink and snacks back down as she pulled out the picture again.
She eyed the pokemon again as she pondered what to do with the picture. She had to tell somebody but having no friends kind of made that hard. She was tempted to tell her uncle but… she didn’t know. He probably would freak out or something…
She sighed and put the picture back into her pocket and headed back to the office. She took her time on the way back trying not to spill any of the hot coffee. She stuck the cookies in her mouth holding them there so she could use her other hand to open the door.
“Umple I gats coofee” she muffled through her teeth as she opened the door and froze. Her uncle was up against the wall wide eyed, lying on the floor was something wrapped in a blanket but what shocked Rachael was the being pinning Timothy to the wall.
“Mewtwo!” she gasped and froze as she realized she just yelped his name. The clone let go of the man and looked at the child his eyes narrowing.
How do you know my name, girl? He growled in slight confusion and anger.
“I… I…” she stumbled trying to figure out what to say in her terror. The sites said nothing about it being able to talk.
“Leave her alone!” The doctor cried and Mewtwo turned his gaze back to the human.
That better not be a threat he growled. I will figure it out later as of now I need your help with this one. He said pointing at the blankets as they moved a little. Rachael stared in shock as she noticed a wing coming out from the blanket.
Timothy Jekyll got to his feet and made his way over to the blanket, he gulped feeling the creature’s gaze on him and he reached out pulling back some of the blanket and gasped.
“What… is... she?” he asked but shook his head and put his hand on her forehead. “… We gotta get her body to cool down. Right now.” Standing up and taking charge he pointed at Rachael, “Tell nurse gray to stay at the front desk.” He looked back at Mewtwo “You carry her and follow me”
Mewtwo grunted not liking to be ordered around, but this was Crow’s life on the line so as Rachael dashed away he picked up Crow again. The doctor left the office followed by the all powerful pokemon.
All this time Crow was awake, unable to speak and to weak to open her eyes she just listened to what was going on around her, she didn’t like where things were going and she wanted to flee.
She felt herself being lay down and the blanket removed from her. She felt something sharp go into her side and something could touch her other. She tried to speak but found that her body was demanding her to rest. She couldn’t though, sleep was not an option. She heard the doctor saying strange words… she wondered what he was going to do to her. Why wasn’t Mewtwo helping her?
Mewtwo though could not help and stood back watching the doctor work on Crow. The clone hid a worry face behind a glare as he tried not to think about what could happen to Crow. He knew so little about her; it would be a shame if she died now.
But as this was going on Rachael was sealing an envelope and putting it in the mailbox. This was just too good to be true and maybe… maybe she would get to go home sooner.

I do really like this fic, though you better go over your chapters and carefully reread them, there a few spelling mistakes, a bit short I must say, keep up the good work though ^^ I always was a fan of clones and gentic mutants with mewtwo like stories, what about his other clones though? Woudn't he have a bit of touch with mew? I mean, he was created from him/her
19th February 2005, 10:44 PM
As of now I am just writing chapters and ending them where I feel tells what I want it to tell. actrauly I have gone back and read some in my file on my comp and fixed the grammer on there but changing it on here is something I really don't feel like doing.
Mew eh? she isn't really part of the plot, mew has a job to do ya know. the whole 'protector of the world' thing.
The other clones were set free remember? they are off enjoying normal pokemon lives.
I think chapters will get longer later on into the plot, gotta get this side plot out of the way first :P
19th February 2005, 10:57 PM
It's kinda hard to see Mew being the protector of the world.... meh, I don't remeber the clones being set free though... oh and another thing, didn't mewtwo only erase the rocket's mind? I don't think he wiped the computor's memory of him...., wonder what Rachel is gonna do with the pic (note I am slow) can't wait for the next chapter ^^ *hands you a cookie* cookie?
19th February 2005, 11:00 PM
Great chap Lady Myuu!^^ There were a few spelling mistakes but not too many. This really is a great story...Keep writing, I can't wait to see what will happen to Crow.
22nd February 2005, 3:49 PM
Nicely done again, LM. If I know Mewtwo’s character, he is a curious character… the way I see it, he probably doesn’t know about this feeling he’s going through but yet he’s experiencing it. That makes it a good plot.
;160; : “You’re talking about love, right?”
*Gives ;160; a thumb’s up.*
On the negative side, a couple of spelling errors here and there, but nothing big.
Overall: Hmm… not on my favourites yet but keep it up.

Funny how this chapter is a set up for the whole story and yet its the longest one yet.
:P fear me as I show everyone that I CAN WRITE LONGER THEN 5 PAGES!!!
Chapter six: Who. Are. You?
“I hold the world but as the world, Gratiano,-
A stage, where every man must play a part;
and mine a sad one.” ~ Antonio from merchant of Venice
A cool breeze blew through the little town as a small snow started to fall. The silent town seemed to be cozy and gentle as the citizens remained indoors on an early Saturday. Only a few children dared come out on such a cold day to play in the snow that still rested on the ground.
An old gray building stood against the snow as a single light came from a window. Through the blinds were closed you could see figures moving around within.
Entering the cool building, the heater having a hard time keeping the whole building warm, there is a waiting room and a front desk. It is old room with couches and chairs with a few toys for the children. The desk was close to a door where you would enter and go back to the examination rooms and a few offices.
The one room where the light was on became dark as the light faded and the door creek open. Stepping out was the good doctor, Timothy. The man ran his fingers through his brown hair and let out a deep sigh.
He looked up and saw the strange powerful pokemon leaning against the wall across from the room. Mewtwo’s head hung a little as he was dazing off from a long night of staying up and pinning Crow down.
Crow had woken up in the middle of her wing being bandaged. Not liking the fact of being lying down half naked in a strange place with a man she does not know she started to panic.
Mewtwo’s head hung lower and he jerked it up shaking it. Timothy tilted his head to the side eyeing the clone a moment before speaking.
“You can lay down you know” he suggested. Mewtwo jerked away and nearly forced Timothy back with telepathic force but froze and mumbled something in his psychic voice.
I will sleep when I am back to my territory. He grumbled out.
Timothy sighed as he looked back at the room; Crow was sleeping now, again. Her wing placed and now folded against her back ready to heal. He just hoped it would heal right; it had been broken for a long while.
Mewtwo followed the human’s gaze to the room and his eyes focused a little more on the door.
How is she? He asked his gaze softening a little.
“Alive” the doctor replied, “I was able to break her tempt and got her wing to place right after the third try.”
Mewtwo listened though his thoughts were ells where. He still seemed rather out of it and tired.
Mewtwo gave the human an odd look as he crossed his arms.
“Would you like some coffee?” Timothy rephrased.
The clone looked back at the door before shrugging mentally not giving any other sign with his body.
I have never had coffee. But very well, lead human. Mewtwo nearly ordered still feeling very unprotected within these walls.
The young doctor did not like being ordered but headed off anyway leading the power house pokemon behind him.
Little fingers clasped the side of a corner where the hallway turned into another, green eyes peered around seeing the close was clear as the twelve year old girl made her way down the hallway. She held her camera in her hand as she glanced around as her hand gripped the door knob. With one more sharp look around Rachael entered the dark room and closed the door silently.
The only sound in the room was the harsh breathing that came from the being on the hospital bed. Crow was lying on her stomach her face turned to the side as she rested her head on a pillow. Her body almost nude but covered in a blanket as her wings fold out over it.
Slowly Rachael brought her camera up, knowing it wouldn’t get the best picture it would have to do. As she took it the flash went off and bright yellow eyes opened and focused on the child.
Rachael gulped stepping back but Crow didn’t move just watched the girl carefully.
“Do you know what you have done?” Crow hissed out slowly her eyes like daggers.
The young girl shook her head still to scared to speak, the eyes were diving into her, bringing up recent memories, searching seeking for information. Something Crow had not been able to do to Mewtwo and now must take what she can get.
“You have started something that now can not be stopped. Triggered the events that will unleash hell” her voice was deep and harsh, not belonging to such a young face.
Rachael was shaking as deeper memories were poured up. Like a movie they played and danced across her mind causing her to remember the good times and the bad all at once.
She wanted to scream but her voice had failed, she wanted to run but her legs were frozen.
She stared into Crow’s yellow eyes and suddenly the bird woman looked away and shut her gaze.
“Leave” she ordered.
Rachael was not about to argue. She bolted from the room and went the opposite way of where Mewtwo and her uncle had gone.
She slammed the office door closed as she leaned against it and whimpered her mind racing over and over again.
She knew very well what Crow was… Crow? Was that her name? How did she know that?
It seemed while Crow ripped memories of her mind she had gained some of Crow’s.
Rachael pulled the glasses off her face and whipped away the tears. She sniffled as she felt violated and torn, her mind aching from such abuse and torment.
The young girl stumbled forward her eyes tired and low to the ground as she bumped into her uncle’s desk.
She put her elbows down and placed her face in her hands as she rubbed at her temples.
Suddenly a loud ringing came to her ears causing her head to spin. Out of habit she reached out plunked the phone off the hook and brought it to her ears.
“Doctor Jekyll’s office, can I help you?” she rang sounding like she had said this many times before.
“Oh yes, I am professor Tow from the towns historical museum. I am looking for a Miss Jekyll?” the voice on the other line sounded old and almost creepy.
“This is she” replied the girl as her voice nearly cracked. She had plenty of practice at acting fine when she wasn’t. She wasn’t about to let anyone know how upset she was. But the crack came and the voice on the other line was silent.
“Are you alright?” the man’s voice came and Rachael mentally kicked herself.
“Yes, just stubbed my toe. How can I help you?” she said sounding wiser then her age.
“I have received you’re picture in the mail. At first I thought it was a hoax but studying the piece I must know. Where did you get it?”
Sniffling, the girl sat down in her uncle’s desk chair and thought for a moment. "I… I can’t say. I told you what I could in the letter…” she mumbled into the phone.
“I see, well I am sending one of my assistants over. I want him to talk to you if you don’t mind”
“NO!” she shouted nearly causing the old man on the other end to yell in pain. “I mean… no. I’ll um, come to you. Yes, tomorrow. I’ll come tomorrow at one?”
“…Alright. That will do. Please miss though; this discovery could be very good to all man kind. Mewtwo! Ha who ever knew?”
“Yeah…” she mumbled, “You wont tell anyone?”
“My dear lady, you think I am mad? Who would believe me even with this photo? Plus last thing we need is a panic. People panic very easily you kn-“
The conversation was cut off as the phone dropped from Rachael’s hand. Her gaze stared in horror as Mewtwo stood there, his eyes wide as well with something ells.
“Don’t give this guy coffee…” Timothy mumbled as he peered around to look at Rachael.
“What’s wrong girl?” he asked looking confused as Mewtwo’s eyes narrowed showing he was back to his old self as he walked into the room and suddenly Timothy felt himself shoved back and the door slammed shut leaving the uncle out of the office.
He banged on the door demanding what was going on but Mewtwo ignored him as he eyed the girl. Rachael was frozen in fear as she stared at the powerful pokemon as he stared back in anger.
Mewtwo lifted his hand his eyes glowing as they glanced over her thoughts at this moment. Unlike Crow it was impossible to tell when Mewtwo was reading a mind or not.
…Girl. Do you understand what you have done now? I can not remain here but I can not take Crow in her condition. You endangered me and yourself.
There are people in this world who would love to know I exist and gain my power. Do not open old wounds
Rachael was finding it hard to breathe as she stepped away from the desk and against the wall. Mewtwo mentally picked up the phone and slammed it down onto the receiver.
Mewtwo sighed as he walked forward and she pinned herself as hard as possible against the wall.
Calm down child, you are alive only because my anger is now under my control.
This did not make the girl feel any better as she sat down curling her arms around her knees and sobbed.
Mewtwo didn’t know what to do; he hadn’t ever had to deal with a child like this before. His first reaction was to just leave her but then instinct kicked in.
Child, cub, youngster hurt…
Mewtwo sighed and placed a hand on the girl’s head and drifted over her recent thoughts. He paused again and then dived deeper reading the recent memories of the day.
Mewtwo didn’t understand really but he saw what had happened to her when the girl had talked to Crow. His eyes grew angry but not at the child as he bent down swooped up Rachael and flung the door open with his powers. A confused doctor stood there as his niece was shoved into his arms.
Marching off Mewtwo headed down the halls until he stopped at Crow’s room. He closed his eyes Rachael’s memories still fresh in his mind, to say Mewtwo was frighten would be wrong, Mewtwo isn’t one for fear but to say he was… concerned. Yes that was what it was.
He reached his hand up and forcing the door to open slowly his hand aglow with his psychic powers. His violet eyes narrowed as he entered the dark room.
Crow had her eyes shut and seemed to be ignoring Mewtwo’s presence. She was trying to act as if she was sleeping but she wasn’t able to fool the clone.
What did you do to her? Mewtwo questioned as he stood in front of the hospital bed. Crow growled a little not opening her eyes as she fanned her one good wing.
“Does it matter?” she hissed out as she tried to keep herself from having to face the pokemon.
She is terrified. He growled at her anger rising.
“She shouldn’t be messing with things she doesn’t understand. You should be angry at her not me. She gave us away” Crow said calmly as he yellow eyes slowly opened and glanced up at the clone.
Mewtwo was silent as he looked down into her eyes seeming to be trying to understand what was going on. His eyes narrowed even more as he placed his hands on each side of the bed.
What are you?
“The question is… do you really want to know?” she replied slyly as she closed her eyes again.
Do not play with me, Crow. Do not. You are a danger to me and these humans.
“And exactly why do you care?” he mused seeming to be in thought now.
Because you are not human nor pokemon... I am sure of that now. And whatever you are… He stopped unsure of what ells to say as she opened her eyes again.
“Frightens you?” she finished his sentence. “The great all powerful Mewtwo is frightened of little old me?” he heard the amusement in her voice and the clone clinched his fists.
Do not mistake my concern or worry as fear or you will be greatly mistaken. Now answer my question. What. Are. You?
Crow opened her mouth to speak but it froze then closed as she shut her eyes, she winced as if she was in pain and clutched her hands onto the bed sheets.
When her eyes snapped open the golden yellow was mixed with red as she bared her fangs a low rumbling hiss escaping her
“I am the Omega, I am the end of a story, I am the one who takes away all hope, and I am the one that proves all wrong. I am everything you fear. No happily ever after, no goodbyes just the beginning of nothing” her voiced hissed there words across Mewtwo’s mind as the low raspy whisper seemed to send a cold shiver throughout his body.
Crow brought her hands up and covered her face seeming to be trying to hide. “I told you” her voice slowly was returning to normal. “I told you…”
Mewtwo stood there stunned, still unsure and still confused but he knew one thing.
He never wanted to hear that voice again.
Crow looked up at him over her hands her yellow eyes had returned the red gone, her whole body was shaking as she seemed to be remembering something painful. “Don’t send me back” she whispered, “I can’t go back. I CAN’T!” She forced herself off the bed the blanket covering her form falling as she ran to the nearest corner and bent down, the now naked woman let out a sob showing more to her then just a tough face.
Mewtwo stepped back, then another step.
By time Crow had looked up from her cowering she saw that Mewtwo had left her alone. She closed her yellow eyes again and began to cry.
I didn't proof read :P SO I BET THERE IS LIKE 500 typos and grammer mistakes XD
if anyone wants to take the time to correct them and then send me a corrected version yay I love you :P *needs to get a proof reader*
Also remember to vote for in in the pokemon awards thingy! *bribes with candy*

I didn't proof read :P SO I BET THERE IS LIKE 500 typos and grammer mistakes XD
^ ...O.O Okie. Then I won't point out grammatical mistakes 'cuz you prolly already know. XD
Good chapter...I was surprised at Crow's behavior but then again that's what I expected. Rachel...don't know what to think of her. She captivated me with her childish simplicity, then again it was her fault. Mewtwo- ah, what can I say. His eloquence reminds me of Roy. *_*
No, seriously. It does.
T'was a good chapter. All I recommend is proofreading and yeah, it should come out great. =D! I really love Mewtwo's tone. It's like..so..like..authority-like. XD Nice job, Lolly. *lolly*
27th April 2005, 3:34 AM
*gasp* An UPDATE!!!XD Great chap Lady Myuu, I loved it. There were a ton of grammar mistakes, though...So Crow's this Omega demon thing? Freaky.
27th April 2005, 5:46 AM
Guess what I just forgot? I FORGOT TO DO THE LITTLE I THINGS TO MEWTWO'S WORDS!
*sob sob cry cry*
;; sorry people.
And Lily has agreed to be my proof reader for this chapter so be prepared for a better version... after I go kill myself
thanks for the reviews.
27th April 2005, 6:02 AM
VERY original, great ideas, kinda like a continuation with a twist....
Besides a few missing commas here and there, I see nothing wrong, so I compliment you on your work
4th May 2005, 3:15 AM
Very nice. Does Crow have multiple personalities or something? Grammar isn't as important as avoiding those little typoes that slip by by spellcheck. I have to admit though, consistently refferring to Mewtwo as "the clone" in previous chapters was kind of annoying, but maybe that's just me.
4th May 2005, 4:38 AM
*gasp, Psychic is coming out of the closet!*
*whacks annoying voice with a tikki torch*
Yea, well, Lady Myuu, I've been, gawd I hate this name, a, *dramatic pause*
closet reader. Dun dun, dun!
I have loved this fic, but for some reason I never actually posted, dunno why.
Anyways, melikes, its very interesting. Of course, there's like, 20 mistakes per Chapter which is driving me somewhere near insane, but the plot is good, and you have some good characters, very different.
The Omega? I'm not even sure what that is, but I get the idea.
Description's a bit lacking, but that's not a major issue here, so blah.
See, there's nothing to say exacpt "Don't type up your Chappies in the reply box!" Silly Myuu, you're gonna drive me crazy with all your mistakes! :P
Blah, keep up the nice work, but proofread what you write next time, PLEASE!
7th May 2005, 12:35 AM
but I don't type them up in the reply box ;;
and gasp more reviews out of the blue that I didn't pick up on? You all make me blush and kick myself at the same time! *kicks* I know I really really need to start proof reading as my fic is starting to get more attention.
I tend to call mewtwo 'clone' as in a rp about mewtwos we used that term often and I'll try to tone it down. I am not big on description and the last chapter was missing more then I liked so yeah I'll try to do better.
Alpha = beginning
Omega = end
*reads Psychic's sig* hmmmmm
thankies for the reviews, making me want to write again :O looove
17th June 2005, 10:58 PM
UPDATE WOOOOOOOO!! Do I take long or do I take long? :P
anyway, I was able to sit my butt down and write a decent chapter. I pmed this to psychic to proof read but I got bored and proof read it myself XD sorry Psychic, I had to much free time at the moment ^,^ the one I pmed you isn't complete as this one is.
Chapter seven: The calm (code name: end side plot start building main plot)
The old antique house stood against the forest that soon became a pokemon sanctuary. A sign out front read,
‘Gray Valley historical museum’
And then it listed tour hours and closing times.
It looked like a rather boring museum and unknown to most the professor in charge was quite knowledgeable about pokemon and the history of man with these creatures.
The old professor Tow sat upstairs this cold day as it was nearly noon and he was making sure everything was ready before he opened up for the day. His assistant was down stairs at the front desk ready to unlock the door when the time came.
Tow was an old man, around eighty, he had lost most of his hair and thick glasses nearly hung off his nose. Old brown eyes looked around a second before he lifted the photograph of the strange pokemon, Mewtwo, before him.
His heart almost skipped a beat at the thought of this creature still in existence. No he knew it was, he had always known.
A strange almost zap sound was heard and the doctor knocked on his hearing aids a little then blinked. His old wrinkled hands shook a little at the realization of something but he did not turn around.
“I knew no child could keep our meeting a secret” the old voice mumbled as Tow turned around to look at the tall purple clone. Mewtwo’s eyes narrowed a little as he raised his hand at the old man.
“So you are going to clear my mind like the others? Just as simple as that?” the old man chuckled.
Mewtwo lowered his hand but did not show any other sign of surprise.
What are you talking about old man? The clone snapped.
“Come now you don’t recognize me? I guess you were just a cub then before I retired.” Tow smirked one of those smiles only older people could do.
The fact that you know of my existence is enough to wipe your mind of it Mewtwo stated bluntly as his hand lifted again.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way. But believe me Mewtwo, you need to be more careful with these mind swipes… you have become very sloppy”
Mewtwo glared his eyes glowing that soft violet before the old man’s gaze glazed over and the man made pokemon looked through the old man’s thoughts and memories before clearing out those that had to do with him.
The man nearly fell over from all that had been taken from him. Mewtwo lowered his hand slowly making sure the man did not fall and break something. He lowered him to the ground with a psychic grasp.
You were one of the few who escaped the island before my awakening. This does not matter for humans are too stubborn and cocky to believe any of your stories. When you awaken you will think that my experiment was a failure and I died along with the humans in the explosion at new island.
“Professor Tow?” called the assistant from downstairs, “Professor Tow its twelve, are you ready?”
Mewtwo quickly flouted the photograph of himself towards him and snatched it up in his three fingered hand. A second later the assistant stuck his head in seeing the passed out man on the floor.
Mewtwo was long gone.
The freezing hallways of the doctor’s office didn’t bother Timothy Jekyll. He wore simple clothing as a green sweater and jeans, nothing to doctor-y this day as well, business wasn’t really happening.
This town really needed to get over itself and move on…
Timothy gave a deep sigh as he sat the try of food down beside the door and pulled a pill bottle from his pocket, he dropped the pills inside the drink. The taste of the drink didn’t seem to bother Crow at all.
The doctor sighed again as he picked up the tray and slowly opened the door. The light had been broken when Crow realized she could throw things, they had to remove all dangerous objects from the room and even had to cover the windows with wood.
In a very loud tantrum Crow had somehow uprooted the examination bed and it lay on its side in the room. The winged woman then had made herself a ‘nest’ in the far corner away from the door using paper and two blankets. She was clothed now and her wing still placed and wrapped against her back.
“Crow?” the doctor asked as he didn’t enter the room very far, just enough to set the food down.
It had been two days since Rachael’s scare with Mewtwo and the doctor would not allow the child to come to the clinic while the monstrous pokemon visited. He wasn’t sure what Mewtwo did about the meeting with the professor but Timothy was not about to ask.
The doctor was going over the last two days when yellow eyes snapped open from the dark corner and a low hiss came across the room.
“Ssshhh, I’m not going to come near you. I just brought you some food. And look” Timothy reached into his pocket and pulled out an object almost everyone has seen, a flashlight, blue at that. “Do you want some light? It’s awfully dark in here.” With that a click was heard and a beam of light came across the room near Crow’s ‘nest’
The hiss grew louder as Crow covered her eyes. She then blinked and relaxed pulling her hands away from her yellow eyes.
“See? It’s not so bad to actually see now isn’t it?” the doctor chuckled as he rolled the object to his patient. The still lit flashlight stopped as it hit one of the woman’s blankets and she snatched it up and shined it at Timothy.
“Yes pretty light” Timothy said almost as if he was talking to a child.
“Ooh look at the pretty colors…” Crow rolled her eyes “Do I look like a three year old to you?” she snaps before turning her back to the human.
The surprised doctor blinked as he stood slowly, he hadn’t really heard Crow say much and somewhat thought she was rather naïve.
“Uh, I guess you are full grown err I mean, you’re not a child… just thought since you were acting like a wild pokemon….”
“If that is the way I am treated that that is the way I will act” Crow snapped back as she flashed the light at the doctor before grinning with amusement before turning the light off and curled her back at Timothy and fanning her one good wing.
“You know, I could treat you with respect and dignity if you gave me the chance” timothy mumbled before stepping in farther in the room. Yellow eyes snapped around looking over her shoulder.
“Keep you distance human, or I will take advantage of that open door” she growled out but she didn’t change her position or make any move for the door.
“You will do no such thing, you are in an unknown place and running would be foolish, that pokemon… Mewtwo would find you easily” Timothy said boldly as he took another step.
“I said stay back” she growled unhappily now facing the doctor fangs showing harshly.
The doctor froze not moving now as he stared at the woman’s eyes.
He froze and looked away from them, Mewtwo warned about her eyes, something about a mind grab that could cause a lot of pain.
Timothy really wished he was not in this room right now or in this clinic, he should have stayed in school longer.
“Crow” the doctor said calmly bending down. “Let me help you, I wont hurt you or force you to do anything you don’t want too”
The woman watched the man carefully and a second of glaring her gaze softened. She almost looked afraid and slightly lost at what to do.
She moved a little towards the human, he continued to hold out his hand and she was inching closer looking very spider like, not going onto her knees but bending down like an ape and moving her long legs like a spider.
She moved closer and closer her gaze up at his eyes and his at hers. He couldn’t believe she trusted him... coming closer.
Now that he got a good look at her, she was very beautiful; maybe she was so tough because she was lost and alone. She probably could be a very nice woman and maybe they could be friends…
“You are such an idiot!” hissed the winged woman as she grabbed the man’s arm and a few seconds later handcuffs were around his wrist and he was clamped to a bar on the examination bed leg.
“Wha? HEY!” Timothy yelled as he pulled on the handcuffed hand and growled angrily as he tried to grab at Crow as she darted for the doorway.
She stopped to stick her tongue out at the human, “Oh by the way, thanks for calling me beautiful!” with that the nearly giddy woman darted away down the hallways to her new found freedom. She wasn’t sickly anymore and though her wing was useless for flight the woman’s sneakiness and amused attitude were slowly returning.
She had kept those handcuffs hidden ever since Mewtwo left her coat in the room with her, she had been planning on using them for a long time now and here she was nearly free of that oversized fur ball and perverted human.
Crow ran with energy she had missed ever since she had come to this strange place, her yellow eyes shinning brightly in the dim lighting as she seemed to be overjoyed at her own cunningness.
Amazing how short lived it was as a hand grabbed at her; she turned and snarled as the twelve year old teary eyed Rachael held tightly Crow nearly dragging her along.
“Release me girl… unless you wish me to cause you harm!” Crow roared out as she pulled harshly nearly sending the blond girl flying but Rachael held firmly.
“Crow” Rachael said calmly, “If you run away now we can’t help you, you will freeze to death out there or starve. You are not fully healed yet!” Rachael ordered, her voice cracked a little showing she had been crying for a very long time.
Crow snarled again grabbing at the child’s neck. “I would rather die then be kept prisoner!”
“Then… if I asked you to stay, because it would make me feel better to know you were not freezing out there.”
“Then I would have to decline, you know what I am girl, you probably understand better then I do” The woman snapped as her grip around Rachael grew harder causing the young girl to gasp.
“Crow… I can’t make sense of what you gave me. The knowledge confuses me and I know you are just as confuse. You know what you are but then again it’s like you…I don’t know…I can’t make sense of it. Please” Rachael’s eyes overflowed with tears now, “Please don’t go, if you leave then I wont ever understand, the nightmares won’t go away and… and I can’t live with these nightmares”
Rachael was a sobbing ball of twelve year old girl as she now clung to Crow tightly sobs and whimpers escaping her as she would not let go of the winged woman.
Crow stood there stunned one hand around the girl’s neck still the other fallen to her side. Her one good wing ruffled a little as she pulled her hand around and placed it on the little girl’s head.
The woman was at a lost at what to do, she wanted to run so badly… she didn’t want to deal with this, this wasn’t her place, this wasn’t what she needed to do. She needed to escape…
“I have nightmares too” Crow mumbled a little. “They wont go away… and I couldn’t live with them either… that is why I am here” the woman wasn’t about to show anymore emotion, she felt cornered as while the cold heart of hers told her to run something ells tugged in the back of her mind… a memory of a past life…
The winged woman couldn’t make sense of it. Her gaze just stared down at the little child clinging to her, a child so frightened by never ending nightmares that she had given her.
Crow felt something build up inside at seeing this innocent life so shattered because of her, something she hadn’t really felt before.
She felt guilty. Down right guilty…
Crow started to cry. She had cried before when Mewtwo had cornered her, she didn’t really understand why she had cried then but she knew now why.
She was destroying something that barely had a chance to bloom. And it was all too familiar.
Crow and Rachael both cried, neither admitting why they felt like they could cry in each others presence, or the fact that they both were very much alike deep down. Or maybe they were very much different…
Maybe they were just alone.
It was at least half an hour until Mewtwo came onto the seen and watched in amazement as Rachael led Crow back to the room, to where she would stay until things could be figured out. Crow would not speak nor look at Mewtwo or Timothy. Her heart was heavy now with this guilt, while everything ells had told her to run…
A child’s broken soul was able to keep her from making a grave mistake that would have cost her, her life.
Rachael was far from recovery and Crow was far from letting anything past her guard… almost anything…
Mewtwo and Timothy were both silent as the man leaned in the doorway to Crow’s room. The woman was sleeping on her ‘nest’ and Rachael was sitting on the counter in the room. She was using the flashlight to write something down, her eyes were red from crying but she wasn’t opening up or speaking.
Mewtwo stood silently near by out in the hallway. His arms crossed and his gaze looking into the room. He was tempted to just read the human’s minds to figure out what happened but something held him back.
This was something to deep and dark for him to just take from them; something was going on, something in the air… and it wasn’t natural…
But at the moment everything was calm.
Chapter eight: Before
the next chapter really will set up the main plot and the one after that will dive into it like jumping off a waterfall :D

Very nice chap Lady Myuu. You forgot to put Mewtwo's lines in italics, and there were a couple of small punctuation mistakes here and there, but it was nonetheless good. I can't wait for the next chap; keep it up.
18th June 2005, 6:22 AM
I'm gonna have to start making a check list XD
I keep forgetting the italics! Its like a curse or something. Hey only a few this time? YAY PROOF READING WORKS XD
I wasn't as happy with this chapter as I could have been, wasn't as smooth as I hoped for but since I wrote it on a writers block that happens.
I thought all my readers died ^.^';; thanks for reviewing, its good to leave in a few grammar mistakes then people can review and point them out :O ok no I don't mean to leave them in :P
*goes off to edit* VOOM :D
23rd June 2005, 6:03 PM
Sorry that I didn’t review your last chapter but I have been a little bit busy. So, to make you think that I’m interested in your fic I’ll review two chapters.
The actions and the characters are well described but I only spotted one grammar error.
I have never had coffee. But very well, lead human.
That didn’t sound right. I think it should be, “I never had coffee but very well. Lead, human.”
Once again, the actions are well described and the characters are kept with their personality (Ace!) but there were a few spelling mistakes. For example: You’ve spelled ‘ells’ when it’s supposed to be ‘else’.
Plus, there are some commas and full stops that needs to be placed, like these:
“Yes pretty light” Timothy said almost as if he was talking to a child.
Yes, pretty light
I think it should be “Go away!”
Also, I noticed that you didn’t do some line spacing when it came to characters talking to each other, which is another error. There’s more, so I think you should proof read.
Apart from the negatives, as I’ve said before, I found the action well described and highly interesting. I look forward to more.
23rd June 2005, 8:21 PM
That was good. Not too much action, but it was still good.
Yea, there were a lot of mistakes, most of which should have been found by your computer if you had typed it on Microsoft Word or whatever. I dunno if you used it or not, but there were just a good bunch of mistakes.
You kept forgetting to end sentences when someones was speaking (unless that was intentional) and you often forgot commas. A few weirdly spelled words like 'ells' like Powell said.
I'll stick this on word and try to find everything for you.
Keep up the nice work, though!
24th June 2005, 4:46 AM
want to know a funny thing?
I wrote this whole thing on word. Truth.
I was hoping chapter seven turned out a little less buggy with the others (cuz I did proof read for once) but ah well I need to grow more pa.. not even gonna try and spell it. One of my words I never can remember.
At least I'm doing well with keeping characters to well as they are. Funny how whenever I leave on a trip I get reviews *plans on leaving more often*
action starts after the next chapter.. though now I am kinda fearing my ability to write it.
first thing I thought when I saw my new reviews: 'My best critics! they know better then to just give me a pat on the back :D'
<< *pats self on back* now to find the insperation for the next chapter and not wait another two months, eh?
27th July 2005, 6:57 PM
Great story! You've obviously got a good plot worked out already. Your writing style is clear, although you could be a bit more descriptive at times and a bit less at others (we already know Mewtwo is a 'kangaroo-cat thing', you don't need to repeat it every chapter ;) ).
My problems are with the characters.
On ff.net I read a fic called 'Forgotten'. While it was M-rated, it was eerily similiar to yours: angsty, confused Mewtwo, angsty, confused human-Pokemon hybrid with repressed memories and a severe attitude problem and immense power. Mix together, simmer, creepy citrus scene. Anyway, what I'm getting at is that - unfortunately, Crow is hardly an original character.
Although she's NOT a Mary-Sue, I would still take the litmus test and answer as honestly as possible, assuming that she's a human. http://www.angelfire.com/gundam/otto/grayswandir/mary-sue-test.html
She takes the typical turn of toughie-is-softened-by-kids-or-true-love. What you need to remember is that she is a scarred character and NOTHING except for intensive therapy (usually) will fix that. Unfortunately, people always forget that when they're writing stories.
I'm NOT saying that you wrote a boring or cliched story - far from it, it's an interesting story that I will definately keep on reading, you just need to refine it a bit more and work out a few tangles. Your plot so far is solid and that's the most important part, the characters just help to keep it real. I know how hard Mewtwo is to write, having tried and failed. Keep on writing, and don't ever give up just because someone like me comes along and talks a lot, lol ;) Good job!
6.5/10, and it can be improved a lot if you just fixed some grammatical and spelling errors that you already know about :)
6th August 2005, 1:37 AM
whoa, whoa, whoa, slooow down there.
Don't jump the gun on Crow just yet, Rachael only broke one wall and thats because of reasons you have yet to know. My computer with this story on it is broken and I am unable to write it atm but whoa o.O random review I wasn't expecting XD
To tell you the truth this story was inspired by another but lets just say it takes a way different turn around the chapter after the next and strays off into other unpokemony things.
and yeah I wanted the dark sad depressed character gets softened by the kid moment in my story :P
according to that test all my characters I have ever made have been marysue/joestu or whatever XD woot I must be a horrible character creator :D
oh and also according to that test... LOL
17th August 2005, 8:38 PM
Don't worry, Crow can be saved very easily. If she had purple eyes and blonde hair and was 200 but looked 14, THEN you would be in huge trouble :) When will more chapters be up?

Would you please take a nice, biiiig steaming cup of STFU and sit over in the corner and stop frelling preaching? Crow is NOT a Mary Sue. Just because she's an OC, is not human and or pokemon, does not instantly class her as OMFG SUESUESUE!
So shut the **** up and stop trying to claim my friends' character is one. And if you wanna ***** about it so much, go find some reeeaaal Mary Sues.
Oh, and that test, sucks ***. I'm sorry, but that test isn't even for ALL AROUND FANFICTION. That's for crap fiction. Or Gargoyle Fanfiction. Or whatever the **** it was made for. So trying to fit a Pokemon Story to those rules in that test, is ****ed. Seriously.
So plz get off yo soap box and preach elsewhere, kthxbai.
Edit: Oh, and if you try to claim my characters are Mary Sues, I laugh in your face like I was when Myuu showed me your first post. You are biased reader btw >3

wow um, :P now you know you don't want Ren on your bad side.
on a side note please don't start a flame war.
The chapters are being proofread and edited at this moment, so my next big update will probably have a new chapter PLUS new refreshed chapters thanks to Renegade here who is taking her time in helping me with looking them over.
I am hoping that new cleaned chapters will help me feel more inspired to write. I have the start of the next chapter written but finding that its rather hard for me to continue the story for some reason @.@ stupid writing groove.

... IT IS DONE! ;; sorry guys this chapter just seemed to plain I had to keep rewriting, not 100% happy as it seems just to be a stalling chapter but please read and review for the love of um, monkeys!! Thanks Ren for the proof reading :D
Chapter 8: Before
Written by LadyMyuu Beta'd be Renagade
I hear whispers in my dreams.
They tell me of things to come.
Things neither man nor beast should know.
But I know.
And I know now, I do not belong here.
And I am frightened.
Greyish colored clouds still hung low in the air over the small town. The forests around it were still covered in a pure blanket of snow. It was still very cold out and the children had yet to return to school because of this.
Smoke rose from many chimneys atop rooftops as families stayed tucked away indoors. The warmth offered by the flames in the harth or their blanket covered beds kept them busy with thoughts of staying warm instead of venturing outside.
Even though the weather was anything but inviting, a straggler could be spotted here or there, making their way to work, or from it. The roads were much to slick from ice and snow to drive on safely, and the only thing possible for now was the option of walking. And even that was hard enough thanks to such weather. Many were glad it was a small town and everything was in a reasonable walking distance.
A light was on in one of the windows in the doctor’s office, the glass was steamed up but a figure could be seen peering out. Blond hair was down now and the girl wore a green long sleeve shirt and green sweat pants.
Rachael was quiet, a week had gone by with barely a word and Mewtwo had only showed up once. The girl wasn’t really sure what was going on before. Crow had broken down so many times, her mood swings were horrible, one second she was ready to bite anyone’s head off the next she was a sobbing mess of well… winged woman.
Rachael had only been around Crow a few more times, it was hard to be around her when saying one wrong thing caused any sort of odd objects to get thrown at you at random times.
Sitting at the desk behind the twelve year old was Timothy. His head resting on his right hand while his other wrote down some things on paper work.
“You know, I think Crow is our first ever real patient.” He commented while only giving part of his attention to Rachael as she stayed by the window.
“What do you think will happen when she is well again?” Rachael asked as she peered out of the window seeing a small snowfall starting.
“I think Mewtwo will take her or let her go or something. He doesn’t seem too attached to her, he just knew she would die with out some help,” the uncle replied as he leaned back in his chair, “she is very odd, I wish I knew what she was”
“No you don’t. You don’t want to know what she is,” the words slipped through the girl’s lips before she could stop herself. The uncle sat up higher in his chair while turnin to look and stare a little at his niece from her words.
“What do you mean by that? You sure have been saying odd things like that all week.” he commented as he looked on with both concern and curiosity.
Rachael smiles at her uncle, the smile masking her real feelings and fears as she just shrugs a fraction, “Not really sure if I understand it myself.” With that she turned, walking towards the door, her snow boots still on, Rachael opened the door and left with a thud as it closed.
Timothy leaned back in his chair and ran his hand through his semi long hair. “That girl is hiding something. I can’t wait tell get this mess is over with”
The woman known as Crow, stood at the now unblocked window of her ‘bedroom’ ,the floor was a mess with wrappers and torn clothing among other things as she just stared out of the window. She was clothed in sweat pants and was wearing a gray tank top that took a few tries to slide on and get around her wings.
Over her wings and shoulders, Crow wore a blanket almost to the likes of a cape. She didn’t want to bother her wings to much with a coat or any other warmer clothing so she just relied on the blanket for helping keep her warm.
The woman ran a hand through her tangled black hair while her yellow eyes looked out at the sky above. With a sigh she turned away and faced the door,
“How long will I wait here in his prison,” she mumbled to herself. “I could probably sneak away now… they have dropped their guard again,” she looked back at the window. “But… oh dear I’m talking to myself”
Crow grumbled rather angrily at herself. She blamed this on that child, that stupid girl. For some reason that child could get her to open up, she and Rachael had spoken for awhile, Crow answering the questions the girl had asked best she could and the girl answering questions she had.
It also seems, Crow, may have some dark type pokemon abilities. Though after a blood test it was found she didn’t have any pokemon DNA at all. But that didn't make her exactly human either.
It was all very frightening to Crow, she just wanted to explain to everyone that she wasn’t human or pokemon or really anything at all but it confused her. She was solid, she bled and she felt… what was she? She had to be something...
Crow leaned closer to the window; her hot breath caused it to fog up as she rested her forehead against it. She closed her eyes tightly and let out a muffled moan of annoyance.
Crow pretended to not hear the query as she continued to keep her forehead against the cool glass and steam up the window with her warm breath.
“Are you ok?” Rachael peeped out as she stepped into the dark room. Crow would have rolled her eyes if she hadn’t had them closed.
She was tired of this, Rachael was a smart girl but really, Crow didn’t need her nor did she want to talk to her. She just wanted to be left alone for now.
“What?” Crow snaps out as she glances over at the girl at last. “I don’t feel like speaking to a child right now.”
Rachael seemed to ignore this as she looked down “I’m scared,” she mumbled out as she kicked the ground a little.
“Oh? What am I? Your mother?” Crow replied as she walked over past Rachael and looked out into the hall. “Is that beast out there, wanting you to get more information about me? I told you Rachael, I don’t know anything more then what I have said.” The annoyance in Crow’s voice was growing and Rachael knew she would soon lose her temper.
Rachael sighed as she looked up at the ceiling, “All you told me was that, you were not a being from the earth, you’re not an alien either, you’re something more and greater and yet you aren’t anything at all. You have the abilities of dark type pokemon and by our tests you aren’t a pokemon and not even human. You act as if the world is coming to an end and then bite off people’s heads. You are confusing me.”
“I am nothing now; I am not where I belong. I don’t want to go back to where I belong either as I know it wasn’t a good place. I don’t remember much other then…”
“Mewtwo said you are some kind of… death bringer..?” Rachael mumbled as she now looked straight at the winged woman. Crow was silent now; she didn’t look at Rachael as she tried to stare out the window.
“I… don’t know why I said that. I wasn’t really… myself. Maybe I am, maybe I am the death of you all”. Crow replied as she finally turned looking at Rachael, “Its starting to snow”
Rachael was staring wide eyed and slightly afraid. She looked at the window as she relaxed her muscles and let out a deep breath, “Do you want to go outside? We can go outback where no one can see us really.”
Crow was taken back by the question. She was silent a moment before she responded with a simple “Sure.”
They journeyed out of the room and down the hallways of the clinic. Soon they came to a door that above glowed the bright letters of ‘exit’ .
Crow was silent as she huddled under her blanket, though Rachael had made her slip her coat on. Rachael looked back with a comforting smile before she slowly pushed the door open. The back yard was an empty parking lot where paid staff would park, it lead into a small woods and had a small road to the side of where the ‘staff’ would drive up from.
Not that there was any staff.
Rachael rubbed her gloved hands together before pulling her hood up over hear head. The girl’s breath could be seen in the air as she looked over at Crow.
'Crow stepped barefoot into the snow, shivering, she looked at Rachael and down at the girl’s boots. “Oh… I forgot we don’t have shoes for you,” Rachael sighed “Guess we can go back inside”
“No… it has been so long and that beast or that uncle of yours isn’t here to stop us.” Crow took a few more steps into the snow and looked up letting the drifting flakes fall onto her black haired head.
Letting her blanket fall a little she stretched her good wing and Rachael gasped. She looked so … unearthly, a winged woman standing in the snow. Her yellow eyes glowing slightly as Crow let out a deep breath.
“Yes, this is nice.” Crow said a small smirk coming across her face.
Mewtwo growled a little in the back of his throat, not often did he use his vocal cords, but when he was this frustrated… it was hard not too. The large boulder, at least the size of a duplex house was lifted just above the tree line. A gentle glow about it showing a psychic hold was on it as the clone practiced.
He was feeling just very off today. Like he couldn’t grip the boulder with all his power, almost like the laws of nature had taken a simple shift and his powers didn’t adapt.
He moved his hands upward, the three fingers giving off the same glow as well as the clones violet eyes. The boulder moved up a little, just slightly before trembling. An angry growl and it was sent flying into some trees as the frustrated Mewtwo clinched his fists.
Something is not right, he growled, it is as if I no longer hold the power I once had.
Rubbing his forehead he glanced the way he new the town was, then looked up at the soft falling of snow. He thought a moment, knowing it had been awhile since he had checked on Crow. He trusted the humans enough to keep her a secret; they knew his power and his wrath.
The purple tail swished as the most powerful pokemon nodded mentally to himself. Time to check up on his little ‘fallen angel’.
The pokemon vanished as he used his teleportation ability.
“Yeah this is nice,” Rachael commented from their new seating arrangement. Getting on the roof of the old medical center wasn’t hard. There was a tree beside it that was just like walking up steps. It leaned towards the wall of the building and was just like a simple step ladder.
The two sat on the roof, the snow still falling and they had cleaned a small area of the snow away so they could sit. The roof only arched a little bit and had a flat outing on it as well. The two sat on a clear spot now as Crow looked up at the sky.
“Isn’t it lovely? Many say that when the snow is gentle like that it means the goddess Articuno is near giving her blessings.” Rachael told as she leaned back on her gloved hands.
Crow sat forward a little, her hands wrapped around her knees and her blanket still over her shoulders.
“I learned that it’s just what happens when it’s to cold for rain.” Crow commented getting an odd look from the twelve-year-old. “What?” the woman asked but the girl just shook her head deciding not to ask where she learned that. She knew it was true in some ways and not in others in this world.
The two fell silent as they watched the snow fall; it grew a tad thicker now. The winged woman and the child seemed to be very content in this silence, still neither fully understanding each other but yet knowing that they both had troubled pasts. They may end up going there separate ways but in the end they would have the memory of meeting each other.
Sometimes, life gives those who need it a little something, a friend, an answer, a wish coming true. Something that just tells that person that no matter how cruel life gets somewhere out there, there is someone going through something just as hard or worse and they need a friend just as much as that person does.
And when life finds a way to bring those two together, the support and hope each other may bring can get them through anything…
Crow blinked as she saw the change as well. Rachael had been the one to voice it first as the two stared in surprise at the sudden change. It was as if the gray cloudiness has melted away, the snow was thin and was almost stopped as the sky just seemed to be drenched in a bright color. No it was still changing, the color became darker and more looming, it looked as if the sky was no longer a sky at all.
But a deep endless pool of blood, oozing with swirling dooming clouds and looked as if it was ready to devour the innocent town.
Crow’s eyes flashed with the strange red that had come over her once before. She gasped next as she turned and shielded Rachael with her wing.
“LOOK OUT!” she screamed as something came falling out of the sky, slamming into the ground and causing a loud uproar as flames burned at the snow and forest. Fire began to burn as if the snow was nothing more the cotton candy. Everything it touched caught on fire instantly, as if the laws of the world did not apply to it.
Rachael peered around the wing and let out a short scream as she clung to the woman. Crow hissed as she got to her feet pulling the child with her.
“We must leave.”

This chapter was a load of fun to write, which means its a fun read... I think.
kinda dark though....
Chapter 9: The Storm
It rained fire, falling from the sky like a waterfall. It came crashing down on me yet I felt no pain. I could hear the screams of the people around me as they ran in terror or died horrible deaths…
Then I wake up... I always wake up… why… this time… why…
Why haven’t I woken up yet?
The bloody sky seemed to just release the red fire from its very self, falling like burning thunder onto the ground and engulfing everything and anything near it in flames. It even caught the snow on fire, which was a horrible and almost un-believable sight to watch.
The young girl clung to the winged woman’s form, eyes closed and a scream of terror building inside her, wanting to escape her mouth again but Crow kept her just calm enough to not release it.
The woman’s eyes swirled between gold and ruby as they took on an orange color now. She winced a little as a blast landed on a nearby building and again as screams escaped it before the building was in swamped by an inferno and no more cries came.
“W-what… what is happening?” Rachael squeaked out.
Crow's attenion was now on the snow as it melted and seemed to just vanish by the fires touch, trees burned like dried firewood in the far distance.
“Nature… it’s … been broken.” Crow whispered.
The winged woman gasped and sprang forward right off the roof, Rachael screamed as Crow spread her one good wing and flapped it madly as if she could catch flight with it alone. But the law of flight still applied and she fell quick and hard.
Not even waisting anymore time, Crow changed her grip on Rachael; Her arm moved down and supported the girl’s legs while another was wrapped around her back. Mewtwo had carried her like this once.
She would have slammed into the ground if she hadn’t brought her legs upright and let them take the inpact, and ended up in quite a crouch and wobbled some but nothing broke, luckily enough. Crow was stronger now, as if the wrongness now in the world gave her strength.
She hissed a little under her breath, the girl in her arms clinging to her tightly now as she cried some from the fear of the jump.
Suddenly a loud explosion followed by a gust of searing wind caused Crow to close her eyes and cover the girl with her one good wing. She didn’t want the child to look, to know the building in which she knew so well, in which her uncle resided in and wanted to help people in, was up in flames.
Rachael noticed the sudden heat and how she was being covered by a sky of feathers. Slowly the girl opened her eyes and gasped before looking up at Crow. Tears leaked from the girl’s eyes as she tried to look around the woman, trying to see where it had come from.
“Close those eyes and the nightmare will pass.” Crow whispers to her.
Rachael looked up at the woman again, the mystery that had plagued her and her uncle’s lives for the past two and a half weeks. She at first wanted to obey Crow, instincts telling her, Crow knew best and that she would die unless she listened.
But the heat around her was nearly unbearable. The sky was raining fire and all logic just seemed to cease to exist. Rachael stared at Crow, seeing the orange eyes slowly start to darken from the orange and closer to a redish color. A different fear was creeping up inside the girl, Crow was being affected by this, and it was causing something bad to happen.
Was it Rachael being quicker then the woman or Crow slowly losing her care for the child it was unknown but the girl was able to look over the winged woman’s shoulder and stare in utter horror at the sight behind her.
The scream from before bubbled up inside her, it burned in her mind before it finally escaped her lips and echoed out into the burning world around her. Crow’s eyes clinched shut as the scream jumped around her mind like an alarm screaming for her to ignore the feeling of dropping the girl and fleeing into the fires. An instinct took over, something that mammal women seemed to have forgotten.
Crow was off, quickly away from the burning building and into the scorched forest. The flames would dance at her feet before backing off as if she was the leader of the oceans, her touch would cool them almost and send them swirling away before capturing the path behind her again in its mad rage.
Rachael had almost fainted; she clung tightly to Crow as she cried tears of sorrow and loss. She didn’t know what she would do now, her uncle, her loving uncle was in that building. She wanted to go back, wanted to try and save him but at the same time, fear overtook her at the thought of the all consuming flames that held the building in their firey grip. She didn’t note how it seemed to not touch Crow, as if it was alive and feared her.
What is going on? Mewtwo mused as his form flew uneasily in the sky. He had to focus all his might on flying. And the fact that balls of fire seemed to fly past him at great speeds was not helping. He felt drained, tired and extremely weak.
His kangaroo like form was slowly descending closer to the ground before he had to make a quick spin out of a fire balls path. The flames scorched him just by the heat and he was sent spinning away. He gasped in pain and did the only thing he could, pull of an uneasy teleport.
He hoped to appear indoors of the doctor’s office and in fact he did. The clone appeared inside and gasped at the burning halls and the hot floor. If he had not been hovering he would have roasted his toes from the heat. Mewtwo reached out with his mind, searching for any signs of life remaining. Something told him Crow would be fine; something that tugged on him told him she had to be fine. He would not be responsible for allowing more pain.
His mind didn’t find any trace of Crow, though he wasn’t sure if it was because she wasn’t something easily sensed or the fact his powers seemed to be as weak as an abra.
Mewtwo slowly started to float forward. He felt a trace of something, conscious and panicked. Mewtwo began to move faster, his instincts telling him if he did not get to the scared source soon that it would no longer be there to be saved. He came to the office of Timothy Jekyll and saw that the door was closed but scorched. He reached his hands out and touched it, feeling the warmth within. He knew what may happen if he opened the door.
His mind raced as he searched every inch of his body, drawing his powers out as if waking them from a trance. He could feel that his powers were there, just withheld, dormant, he focused them, pulling them away from that sleepiness they had fallen into.
The fire around him was slowly cooking him alive, while he did his best to now allow himself to be touched the shear heat was enough to kill a mortal man.
Mewtwo vanished and appeared in the coolest place in the room, the lack of oxygen and the smoke made Mewtwo wheeze. He focused his eyes and pushed the smoke away, the fire was everywhere almost, only behind the desk had it not burned to a crisp yet. Focusing his mind her spoke telepathically to the only other being in the room.
Human, come now and we will leave this hell.
A wheezing cough was heard as the young doctor pulled himself out, a look of relief mixed with a little fear came across the young man’s face at the sight of Mewtwo and he stepped forward towards the clone.
The fire continued to burn, even if there was little to no oxygen left, as if though the fire fed off it, it did not need it for survival. This fire was unnatural. Mewtwo held out his three fingered hand and before the doctor could reach it a beam from the ceiling fell lose, covered in flames it fell. Timothy yelled trying to jump back. Mewtwo focused his eyes and tried to capture the beam, but as if the fire around it was a shield to block his powers it still fell. The doctor had pull back fast enough to spare his body but his arm was not so lucky.
Timothy let out a scream of fear as his hand had caught on fire, it burned worst than anything the man had felt before. It did not burn, it ate, it chewed, gnawed and shook his hand or so it felt to the man. Not only was this pain great, watching his hand turn to dust and begin to blow away was another thing. It didn’t char it, it destroyed it, cremated it. It begins to seep up the arm at great speed.
Mewtwo could only think of one thing to do. Summing up all his power he lifted his hand. A crack was heard then followed by a bloody scream of pain.
Crow had gone to the only place she could think to go, though she was unsure how to have found it and how quickly she got there. Her mind had blanked out after walking for what seemed forever. But she was there, back in the cave, back where Mewtwo had kept her prisoner. Back where he had tried to read her mind and tried to heal her wing.
Rachael was huddled on the very nest she had stayed on, though it was more dried out and crunchy then before. Seemed Mewtwo had not the means to replace it with more comfortable means since she left. The child was huddled under Crow’s coat. The woman had taken it off as the heat from the fire was enough to not allow the cold to affect her much. She stood at the mouth of the cave, keeping the flames from reaching within. The flames swarmed the mouth of the cave, but Crow’s now orange colored eyes glared and as if obeying a master they withdrew quickly and continued their route of roasting everything but the cave.
The woman turned her eyes towards the heavens now, watching the red sky rain the fires, they fell almost evenly sometimes before being a tad more random or sparce. It reminded her of some things... As if she had seen this before, but not from this view, not from bellow. No… she had seen the fires placed on deadly arrows and watched as they were shot down towards the earth, seen them devour like wolves to their kill.
She had seen it from heavens view and enjoyed it. Her gaze was changed now to something that did not belong to the fires. It moved towards her slowly as if being careful not to allow himself to be touched.
The grayish purple form stopped something in its arms. The stop was as if it was focusing on something. Crow narrowed her eyes and soon realized who it was out there but before she could respond those who were out there were now in the cave.
Mewtwo stood, looking tired and almost angry. He had worn himself out just by trying to reach his powers which seemed to almost have fully withdrawn inside of himself for some reason.
In his arms were the unconscious form of Timothy, he was shirtless, the shirt had been torn and ripped and then wrapped around the stump on the side of his shoulder. Rachael was peering out from the coat and gasped in horror at the sight of her uncle.
“His… his arm!” she cried seeing his left arm had been completely removed and was nothing more then a bloody mess. Mewtwo had done his best to slow the blood flow as ripping an arm off with psychic powers was still a very messy thing.
His arm caught on fire; I could not put it out. It would have turned to dust. It is all I could do child Mewtwo spoke calmly and slowly, hoping the twelve year old could understand. He placed the young man beside her and she nearly sobbed as she ran a hand over his brown hair.
“Look,” Crow whispered and Mewtwo turned his gaze, darting for the cave, as if seeing the only chance they had was a young woman and her partner a slightly older man. They wore the brown outfits of the rangers, they were the rangers.
Mewtwo went to the mouth of the cave and lifted his hand as if to flout the humans inside, but found his powers were to weak… no withdrawn for it. As if they had given up on everything and just went into a slumber.
Quickly! I can not aid you! Mewtwo called as the two humans dashed like mad, doing there best to find the best routes around the flames. A scream echoed in the trees as the fire seemed to just swarm, it had caught the man’s pant leg on fire and just like it had started to do to Timothy was eating him alive.
The woman stopped and screamed for her friend, he yelled at her, telling her to go before he was covered in flames, his screamed of pain echoed until he was fully ash and nothing more. Mewtwo called to the terrified woman and she began to move once again towards the group, running as fast as she could but the fire seemed to sense her fear and now nipped at her heels.
Closer she came and Crow began to reach out, caught up in the moment of this human’s drive for life, wanting to aid her ignoring the part of her that enjoyed the fear in her eyes.
The woman reached her hands out, welcoming the thought of being pulled out of the flames grasp, only a few feet away, so close yet…
Crow gasped as flames danced up the woman and caught her whole body on fire faster then the man’s as if it knew if it did not devour her now she may be saved. Mewtwo turned his gaze away as Rachael covered her eyes.
Crow stared on, watching the ash blow away in the smoky wind. That woman and that man had given it their all, and it was not enough. Mewtwo reached out as if to touch Crow, almost as if to comfort her, but he stopped as he saw Crow’s face.
Her eyes were swirling between red and orange now as she whimpered. Tears wanted to leak out and yet a playful smile danced around her face.
“The pain… is unbearable.” Though she said this with bitter and sadness the smile on her face seemed to enhance a cruel look about her.
Explain to me, why?
“Because the end of the story has come.”

OMG LIEK FIRST REVIEW
FOR BOTH CHAPTERS
Anyways, since I already beta'd the chapters, dun have to say much other than what I know already Xp
It's good Myuu, original and very, very good. The character development overall has been very tastefully done, but then again, you always manage to do that it seems. I also like how dark this chapter was, and how dark the story is getting. And to all the fools that don't review, or read; THEIR LOSS SO THERE.
Anyways you better keep up with this story Xp
4th October 2005, 4:33 AM
I only had time to read chapter 8, so I'll have to read 9 tomorrow.
It was pretty good, bit short for my taste, but at least it wasn't painstakingly long.
Saw nothing wrong with description or characters, as they were well-portrayed. And stuff. Jah. My compliments.
Though I saw a good few mistakes.
Such as swtiching to present tense. Twice.
And saying 'you' when ya shouldn't be breaking down the forth wall of writing. Or whatever the hell they call it.
The other mistakes I could actually point out:
“I… don’t know why I said that. I wasn’t really… myself. Maybe I am, maybe I am the death of you all”. Crow replied now as she finally turned looking at Rachael, “Its starting to snow”
Period before end of speech. Jah.
'Crow replied now' oh look, present tense! (I think. Something's wrong with that part, at least.)
'Its' should be 'it's'
Crow took a barefoot step into the snow and shivered,
I think that whole thing ought to be changed. Something more along the lines of
'Crow stepped barefoot into the snow, shivering,'
Rachael commented from there new seating arrangement.
Shouldn't it be 'their'?
They may end up going there separate ways but in the end they would have the memory of meeting each other.
I think 'may' should be 'might', but that's a matter of opinion and what sounds right to you. :P
Ok, not a lot of mistakes. Blah.
Oy, and can't wait to read 9! I shouldn't have waited so long to read 8.
But the plot's coming along nicely. And...jah, exciting.
4th October 2005, 4:55 AM
woot I made the changes o.o I don't tend to go back and do it but I decided to go and learn instead and do it. Go me.
I only didn't go back and change like two things cuz I was to lazy to hunt them down. ^.^ oh and thank Ren, she caught most of the mistakes before the chapter was even posted. Oh question for my readers! All two of you!
Should I up my rating to R? I think it may get that dark. Don't reply with your answer just think about it. Unless your a closet reader and want to reply. GO ONE AHEAD :D

Ah. Ok. Wow. Scary.
This chapter made me sit on the edge of my seat-it was very well-written and put together nicely.
Once again, good job with description, characters were portrayed perfectly and there was the proper mood I felt that went along with the chapter.
And the plot is reaching its climax! The suspense builds, and I become very excited, very involved in the story. I fell like I’m right there in the story, watching as fire rains down from the skies…
Sadly, I found a good bunch of mistakes. :( Here we go:
vanish by the fires touch
Should be fire’s.
Not even waisting anymore time
This should be reworded, because it’s rather repetitive.
‘Not wasting any more time’ would be more appropriate. And ‘wasting’ has no I and I think anymore is two words.
“Close those eyes and the nightmare will pass.” Crow whispers to her.Ah-HA! There, present tense! I found it, I found it! *runs around in circles*
Was it Rachael being quicker then the woman or Crow slowly losing her care for the child it was unknown but the girl was able to look over the winged woman’s shoulder and stare in utter horror at the sight behind her.
‘Was it’ should be replaced by ‘whether’ and take out ‘it’. And this sentence should probably be broken up into two.
His kangaroo like form was slowly descending closer to the ground before he had to make a quick spin out of a fire balls path.
Should be ‘kangaroo-like’ with the dash, methinks.
You don’t have to say ‘descending’ and then ‘closer’. Just say ‘nearing/approaching the ground’.
And the word ‘form’ was just used in the paragraph before it, making it repetitive. But ‘form’ is a crappy word to use anyways. When you said ‘Mewtwo mused as his form flew uneasily in the sky.’ You could just replace ‘his form’ with ‘he’. And specify what you mean by ‘uneasily’.
‘Fire ball’s’ should replace ‘fire balls’. Should be 'the path of a fire ball', actually.
pull of an uneasy teleport.
It should be ‘off’ with two f’s.
he wasn’t sure if it was because she wasn’t something easily sensed or the fact his powers seemed to be as weak as an abra.
The end should just be ‘or his powers were as weak as that of an Abra.’ And capitalize ‘Abra’.
The grayish purple form stopped something in its arms.
Should be a comma after ‘stopped’.

Well, they were nothing big, at least.
Anyways, with chapter was amazing, and I’m really anxious to read more. I really want to find out what happens next…
Oh, and could you please R&R ‘the Mutations’? I know you started reading it, but you haven’t read my latest chapters. So would you mind taking a look?
Please and thank you!
Eagerly anticipating the next chapter,

Checked out two of your latest chapters...
Okay, spotted a ‘couple’ of grammar and spelling mistakes here, starting from the top.
Harth = hearth
‘bedroom’ ,the = ‘bedroom’, the
to much = too much
“Its starting to snow” = “It’s starting to snow.”
step ladder. = Stepladder
Although I have enjoyed it, it’s not the best chapter you’ve done so far but you placed a moment of suspense at the end of that chapter.
Dramatic and I liked it a lot. The most shocking part was when a person gets caught by this sort of fire, they’d instantly be turned into ash… not your ordinary fire, I can tell. The descriptions were great as well as the length. You also added in a suspense part, which makes me look forward to the next chapter, another plus.
Spotted a couple or errors though.
attenion = attention
waisting = wasting
inpact = Impact
Crow whispers to her = Crow WHISPERED to her. (Tense error)
Overall score: 4/5
Advice: Always check for errors before placing each chap

*is a closet reader*
I read all of this just this moening, meaning that it might have been alittle short. But I like the plot. That last chapter really was a plot twist, if you think about it.How many chapters are left?I would like to know because it seems like it's almost over now. Also, else isn't spelled ells.I'm not really one for long reviews, so it's time for me to wrap this up.*closet reads the rest of the story*
18th October 2005, 2:32 AM
I always get my else spelt as ells, its a nasty habbit I have been working on. I do sometimes read through my chapters but I more often shove them off to a proof reader.
o.o wow I had no idea I had more reviews. Sometimes I randomly check my threads just to see and I went all o.o holy fudge people!
Brian: yeah I didn't really like chapter 8 much, I felt like I was just stalling the storyline more to make the story seem longer. I need to go back and fix those errors you caught as it seems I can never get them all the first time XD Sorry Ren, I should read them before I send em.
Chaos Absol: I'd swat you in rl for being a closet reader, you do know us aurthors survive off reviews? We die with out them!
guys, you don't know how much it means to me to have these two extra reviews. Its like a merical, I though Psychic and Ren were the only ones left. I love them bunches for sticking with me and my long pause between updates.
the story has only reached halfway o.o believe it or not. I really dislike giving away plot though if you catch me in the right mood, I'll kinda blurt it out. Just don't get to comfortible with Crow this way ok?
I am hoping to plan end this story at chapter 20 then with an ending thing I forgot what its called.
oh and closet readers make me cry ;_;
thanks for the reviews again, love you guys alot.
edit: Oooh also note that as I write this I do know the beginning and the end but I don't know the middle stuff to well. I am getting to thinking of very dark things. I fear my rating may have to go up, do you think I should allow it to go up?

Great so far, Crows probably my favourite character so far, though those typos are a bit irritating.
You know, what usually turns me off of most Mewtwo fics is that authors often underestimate his powers, I mean why would he be afraid of a bullet when a barrier whipped up in mere moments could simply repel it. It kind of disgusts me you know? At least yours has a reason for his deminishing powers. And don't forget to make use of his Recover, that's often overlooked as well.
19th October 2005, 6:12 PM
Thanks for hte review.
Mewtwo does not know recover, I have not seen him use it in the movies and this is base off the movie one not the game. If I had based it off the way I see the game mewtwo, well mewtwo's personality would be waaay different. Since in the game he was born from mew, not cloned.

Here I am! ^^
Anyhoo, like I said, this is an amazing fic so far, Lady Myuu. =) I really love it. You portray Mewtwo's character in such a unique way that I've never seen before. Crow is also a very original character. (To me at least. =P I don't often read fics like this. Might be unoriginal in an RP, but here, I like it.)
I really love your plot, and how nothing is as it seems. I'm hoping to encounter a lot of exciting plot twists in this one. =)
Really, really great so far, despite the number of mistakes in your first chapters. =P Well, okay, there are still some, but it's much better now. And even before it didn't distract me too much. The story was just that gripping. ^^ All the better.

Ok this chapter has not been proof read but is in teh means of being so. So take this as the unproof read version you all can critic your little hearts out of :D I've read though it once though so it shouldn't be that bad.
I also need to know if you all think I should up the rating to R as I fear it may get alot darker then it all ready has o.O
Chapter 10: Turning tides
The voices have changed again… from soft warnings to harsh tones, calling me back, telling me to leave. That all lives now are a last cause... No reason for me to remain… that I must go home.
Then I remember the burning, not the fire that fell from the sky, the fire that consumes the damned.
And I fear that is where I belong.
An innocent child lay upon her uncle, her head resting on his chest as she listened to each beat of his heart in her uneasy slumber. Her mind calmed thankfully by just hearing the heart and so her dreams held no nightmares of the raining fire.
The woman still stood there, gazing out onto the charred world. Neither a tree nor a building in the distance stood. No sign of life, as far as the eye could see it was nothing but wasteland, a cold wasteland with a bloody sky.
The fires were spread out now, slowly dying out as if they were starving. They had devoured all they could in the valley and could not spread any further. Slowly there flames flickered out until only a few could be seen.
In the back of the cave, watching the humans and the winged woman, the only surviving pokemon in the valley, and it being only a copy of a pokemon, stood in the back of the cave, his violet eyes flaring prepared to deal with Crow if she made any movement but she hadn’t, not all night, not in a long while. She just stood there, watching the fire burn. Watching as it slowly dissolved into nothing. The dying light danced across the walls and Crow’s skin, her eyes shimmering with the orange color they had taken on as of late.
Finally Mewtwo could no longer stand the silence, he approached the woman. Care to explain?
She turned eyeing the pokemon, as he invaded a little closer then she wanted at this moment. She slowly turned her gaze back to the dying fires. The same fire that had taken so many lives with it was about to die itself.
“Don’t you understand? I am death, we are death.”
We? Mewtwo was taken back by this, was there more?
“I am not alone. I am separated but not alone.” She mused as if she was just realizing this herself. Mewtwo’s eyes narrowed, she was playing tricks again. And this time he held little amusement for them.
You wanted this to happen. You wanted everyone to die. You are…
“A monster? Funny, from what I gathered from you, you are a monster as well.” Crow chuckled now as her good wing fluffed a little showing she was slightly nervous now. “Are you going to threaten me now? Order me to tell you how to fix this?” she said more harshly now, her tone changing a little as she faced the clone.
Mewtwo found himself stepping back a little, she had drawn closer to him and it was making him almost… nervous. He had no powers almost, he was weak, and he was nothing now.
Crow suddenly gave a devilish smile. “Look at you now, backing away from little old me. Almost as if… you are afraid.” She almost giggled. “The great Mewtwo” she reached out suddenly and grabbed one of his horns before he could respond. It took all his efforts not to jerk away or allow his eyes to grow wide. He didn’t want to admit it, but with out his powers, with out his god like abilities, he was weak, he was nothing more then a mere very ugly human.
Crow could kill him. He was partly afraid of her, another felt that if he was to die, he was glad it was her to do it, because she was an equal in power. But he would never allow her to hear him say that she was. Slowly his eyes became a glare as he glared back at her. She just smiled.
“I could snap your neck” she chuckled, “Then I could just leave those two humans to die.” She had a wicked grin on her face, but it faded with a tad bit of concern that wasn’t often seen. “But I all ready spent my time saving there necks once; I kept the flames of blackness at bay. Why should I allow some giant RAT make me give up those who actually helped me? Who didn’t make things worse like you? I don’t care for them, but I do owe them more then I owe you.”
Mewtwo wasn’t listening, his instincts were demanding her get away from Crow, that he could not take her in his weaken state, that she would kill him. That he was about too die. He jerked a little and kicked a hind leg at her wanting release. The woman smiled but let Mewtwo go and he recoiled to a few feet back out of grabbing range.
I am not one to be pushed around. He stated sharply as he stood at his full height just towering over Crow. The winged woman turned away and seemed to chuckle under her breath.
“Oh but you will be” she glanced back at him “Because otherwise you will die. You need me. You all need me for survival…”
He stared at her, for the longest time, trying to read her, to understand. He glared through his violet eyes at this woman, this woman who had come to him from the sky. With a crippled wing and a naked form, with no will to speak but to fight. He thought he had gotten past her roughness, she had shown mercy to the child and to them when the flames were too much. She had acted as if she cared.
They were nothing but an obligation.
Mewtwo felt hate.
He hated her for not allowing them to be more then just a tool, for allowing the humans to start and care about her… for him to care about her well being.
But a part of him admired her, for not allowing her to grow attached. To not allow herself to be weakened by their presence or kindness….He had once been so cruel, so powerful; he could have ruled the world. Though he knew very well that was not the way. That there was better ways to handle life, because there was more to it then just power or revenge. Life is beautiful, it should not be wasted.
Then again, a part of him still craved that power, because to him, power was also beautiful.
Mewtwo decided to leave Crow be for a moment as he walked over and bent down beside the humans checking the adult male’s wound. He wasn’t sure if he would survive, unable to treat it properly Mewtwo thought he would probably die from blood lose. The clone blinked as he eyed the wound, the cloth bandages covering it were a dark red, dried, and no more blood came from the injury. Staring at it a moment Mewtwo glanced around before slowly moving the child’s head off the doctor’s chest. Rachael grumbled in her sleep but otherwise was still resting and did not wake.
Once the girl was away Mewtwo began to undo the bandage to get a better look. He wasn’t very good at showing emotion but the look of shock was plain to see. The wound had healed. Fresh skin had grown over the stump and looked as if it had been that way for years, a little scaring but nothing drastic. Mewtwo’s eyes glanced up at the sleeping Timothy before over at Rachael as she snoozed uneasily as well.
Mewtwo was overwhelmed, he couldn’t figure out why he had healed so quickly, as if he had been this way for years. He glanced away now at Crow as she still stared out into the once great forest. She was silent and seemed to be lost or lonely as she stared on.
Crow. Mewtwo called though bitter hung in his psychic voice.
“Hmm?” the woman hummed and glanced back, her eyes shinning a yellowy-orange color at him. “Are you going to threaten me again?”
Mewtwo ignored this. He told as he glanced back down at Timothy. Crow blinked tilting her head before slowly making her way over, still keeping some distance between her and the clone.
She eyed the doctor a moment before smiling coldly at him, “Amusing. While the fire consumes all in its path… once it fades the broken laws of nature keep this man alive.”
What does that mean? What are you babbling about?
Crow looked up at Mewtwo “When we die, it will not be by the ways of this world, but by another. The laws of this world are broken and gone, we will not be allowed to leave it unless by unnatural means, by the means of my kind.”
Mewtwo blinked, trying to understand her strange use of words. Well not really strange just, didn’t seem possible to him.
We can’t die? He asked astonished.
“I never said that. I said we can’t die naturally. Or be killed by any ways other then… let’s say that fire could kill us… or something unnatural to this world.” She tried to explain seeming to be trying to understand it herself. Crow’s pondering face changed though, to another of her rather cruel grins.
But Mewtwo wasn’t paying attention anymore, he was to busy thinking about this strange information himself. He had turned his gaze back to the humans as they slept still unbothered by those speaking around them.
That’s when it dawned on Mewtwo, he snapped his gaze back at Crow, who once again had her back to him and was reaching her hands back furiously at her bandage around her wing.
Then… your threats were empty. Mewtwo growled out as he stood up at his full height once again, trying to establish his power back. She couldn’t snap his neck, she couldn’t kill him. Crow brought her hands back to her side.
“At the time I gave them, I really thought I could do it. And even if you wouldn’t die… it would be rather painful.” she glared back at him, “But I am keeping you all alive, you do need me for survival. That was a truth I still know to be true.” she replied before turning back and began messing with her wing again.
Mewtwo suppressed a sigh as his large tail swung side to side. He pondered this as well, all this information now, all these impossible things happening. They were almost immortal now… almost. But his thinking was cut short as Crow let out a rather rude word at the fact her bandage seemed to not want to come off.
The pokemon glanced over with a questioning look as Crow growled deeply now looking very frustrated. She was trying to get the bandage of her wing, trying to set it free from what has kept her from flight for so long.
Mewtwo watched a moment longer before slowly making his way over trying to not let Crow notice him at first. He stood behind her as she still grumbled and struggled before he spoke.
Here he said simply as he reached up his three fingered hands and slowly began to undo the splint. Crow growled deeply with her animal like nature before falling silent. Not exactly saying no for the help but not being very thankful as well, she did not want to accept the fact she needed aid in such a simple task.
As Mewtwo unwrapped, the black wing could be seen more and more, it shinned a little in the strange light coming from outside and though didn’t seem quite as healthy looking as the other, it looked very good. Soon the wrappings fell to the ground and the clone stepped back.
Crow gasped a little and winced as she stretched her wing, it was sore and hurt a little, she would need to stretch it out a bit before she could fly. Mewtwo felt a smirk dance across his face; it just looked natural and normal to him to see her spread both wings. As if she was now a completed puzzle. Though he still held some distaste for her attitude towards him and the humans.
She was silent now, stepping forward and stood once again in the mouth of the cave looking out. Mewtwo watched her carefully as she glanced over her shoulder, her eyes watching him closely.
“Thanks” she snapped before glancing back out into the wasteland. Mewtwo smirked. She wasn’t all bad at least. The pokemon watched Crow a bit longer, he never felt bored of doing so, watching her was never boring. She being so unique and different then anything he had ever seen… other then himself. He wanted to ask her more questions, get some answers. She seemed to understand now what was going on but he just, felt if he asked her she wouldn’t answer him. He could try to force it but, while she couldn’t really kill him. She still had her powers. He did not. He was not afraid of her, just cautious.
“M-mewtwo?” Hearing his name he turned his gaze back now. Sitting up in the bed and glasses in her lap so she can rub her eyes was the child, Rachael.
You should continue to rest. Mewtwo replied. Little tone in his voice just a statement. She placed one of her arms down beside the glasses in her lap still using the other to rub one of her eyes.
“I can’t anymore…” she mumbled before glancing over at her uncle and noticed his healed shoulder. She blinked in surprise bringing the other hand down before looking at Mewtwo. “How...”
Because it is meant to be. Was all the clone replied as he turned his back to her and walked to the mouth of the cave standing beside Crow. The woman glanced over her shoulder at Rachael but said nothing. Turning back she eyed the pokemon beside her but was still silent.
And to where should we go from here? Mewtwo asked, not really wanting to know what Crow would reply with. But they couldn’t stay here, they had to find out more about what exactly was happening or at least find food or water. He paused, remembering what Crow had said earlier.
We don’t need to eat do we? He asked another question before Crow could respond to the first.
She shook her head at that one “We won’t feel hunger or thirst but maybe ill or tiredness. I am unsure, do you feel hungry or thirsty?” she asked a question in return.
Mewtwo thought a moment, trying to really see but gave a small shake of his head as his response. Come to think of it, he had not felt either ever since his powers began to weaken.
“And to answer the first question…” she lowered her gaze now a tad “I do not know. I know what I have told you, from what I can really remember.” She brought her gaze back to the skies at these words. “What is happening? Damnation for the wicked and a quick death to the pure. Who is causing it?” she looked at Mewtwo “The soldiers of the damned themselves”
Mewtwo was taken back once again, he didn’t understand. Crow had claimed to be some kind of death bringer. She had claimed that there were others of her kind? More death bringers…What was this? Armageddon?
Soldiers? Damned? The fire…
“Are the weapons of my people…well, my fellow damned souls” she sighed now as she crossed her arms her wings folded neatly against her back.
Mewtwo wanted to be angry at her, why didn’t she tell him these… impossible… unbelievable things… he stopped, it was a simple answer. He wouldn’t have believed her. He would have thought her insane.
Then you remember everything?
“I remember what I am. I remember who the others are though I can not see the faces. I know what I and they can do. I do not know why I came here before everyone. I do not know why your world is being attacked, it does not seem like it is ready for the end.” She once again looked at Mewtwo “All I know is that my kind are here to destroy all life on this world. Anyone who found a way to escape it will be hunted down and brought to ‘justice’ another way. I felt the calling to kill we all feel it before it is time to act, to want to destroy all, anything unlike us… but I…. could stop myself from listening..”
Mewtwo found himself stepping back a little more, this impossible truth hitting home with him. He was going to die? And not a hero’s death, he was going to be slaughtered as a weak child.
You… can resist? He mused out now, trying to understand all her words.
The two fell silent, Crow looking out of the cave while Mewtwo at her with wide eyes, while Mewtwo has felt fear before, or loneliness or rejection… he felt true horror sitting in.
This was the end.
Almost as if Crow could sense Mewtwo’s thoughts she turned and gave an oddly charming smile. “Are you afraid? You should be, only fools do not fear. Only idiots laugh at what they do not understand… But remember, you have one card left in the deck before you lose this game.” She looked past Mewtwo and at the confused Rachael; she could only hear Crow’s side of the conversation as Mewtwo spoke into Crow’s mind alone.
With that Crow finished her words…
After Crow’s little speech, she fell silent and would not answer anymore questions. In the back of the cave Mewtwo leaned against the back wall. Just resting somewhat but still would not allow him to sleep.
Rachael hadn’t moved very far, just running a hand over her uncle’s still unconscious body. But out of all the beings in this cave Crow is the only one that as vanished from it for a bit. Mewtwo wasn’t worried, well he was but he just didn’t feel as if she would leave forever. She wanted to walk out a bit, he would probably check to see if he can spot her soon.
Beyond the cave and lower closer to the valley, the woman walks, her wings folded against her back while her arms lose at her side. Her messy black hair covers her orange eyes which sometimes reflect the red sky. She walked slowly testing the ground. She could see some of the fires in the distance still burning, though failing. Crow took in a deep breath trying to relax now after everything that seems to be happening. Crossing her arms she looked up into the sky once again, the calling of home echoing in her ears.
“I do not wish to return” she whispered. “You will have to drag my corpse back to the damned itself” her voice growled out as if the sky was listening to her.
“That can be arranged”
Crow gasped, did the sky answer her? she wasn’t prepared for an answer… but no it was not what she thought. Turning around instincts kicked in making her bare her animal like fangs.
An insane giggle was heard as standing on top of a scorched boulder was a womanly form, or so it seemed. She had some of the same characteristics as Crow, though instead of yellow eyes or orange they were the color of rubies, her wings were slightly smaller then Crow’s, tightly built together and could beat very fast like a humming birds. Though they had longer feathers and though the woman was beating her wings some as she kept herself balanced on the boulder but still prepared to take off they beat silently, not a sound they made. They were also just as black as Crow’s wings.
But where they were the same they were also different, the woman was smaller then Crow, probably a little over five feet tall. Her hair was silvery gray color with a hint of blue on the tips. Her body was thin, too thin; she looked almost like a twig, her chest and waist greatly smaller then Crow’s.
The pale skin made her look almost like a skeleton, a flying skeleton. But what made her intimidating was what she held. A bow with a quiver full of red feathered arrows, she had all ready drawn an arrow and cocked her bow with it. The tip automatically lit aflame with the deadly fire.
Crow stumbled back in surprise her wings flaring now as well trying to seem larger and stronger then her attacker. Her eyes filled with recognition.
“I…. know you” she spoke with a whisper as she was filled with slight horror and fear at the arrow being aimed at her.
“Sure you do. I was the one that sent you here.” Giggled the girl, she was almost child like. With that, the woman released her arrow and it shot straight for Crow.

Hm, interesting... I like this gradual development. You're revealing things bit by bit, and each new piece of information we learn seems to turn the whole story around. And still you withhold just enough knowledge to leave us wanting more. For example, who's this new character? I suppose we shall find out soon.
Anyway, as this hasn't been proofread yet, there are a number of mistakes. The only one I shall point out is that you switched from past to present tense a few times, making it confusing to read. Other than that, the problems weren't too noticeable.

Care to outline where I made the mistakes for the tences? I would like to get those fixed before it is proof read. Thanks for the review <3

I think there was another small bit earlier... But I can't find it right now. =P

Chapter 11: Birds of a feather
Marked with the eyes of decaying hope, carriers of the wings of death, we are what are coming when time runs out. We are the ones hunting you in your dreams…
The hour glass has emptied.
The time is now.
There is no hope.
There will be nothing.
We are here...
And no one is ready.
A child mumbled in her slumber catching a psychic pokemon’s attention.
Mewtwo turned his gaze towards the girl as she rolled a bit in her sleep. She had only fallen back into a light snooze only moments after Crow had left.
Rachael woke, her eyes snapping wide as she bolted up from her resting place and let out a short gasp as she clutched her hands.
“CROW!” she screamed now getting to her feet. Mewtwo darted over quickly and grabbed the girl’s shoulder.
What is wrong? He asked quickly as he squeezed her shoulder. Rachael wiped the tears the nightmare had given her from her eyes as she looked up at Mewtwo.
“C-Crow… she’s hurt. Or is going to be hurt. We got to help her” the young girl whimpered. Mewtwo released her as he turned towards the cave mouth and quickly left with a fast
Stay here. To Rachael before he was gone. The girl blinked running a hand over her head as her teary eyes turned to her uncle. She gasped again as she realized he was awake but hadn’t said a word.
Now that Mewtwo was gone Timothy sighed as he sat up and glanced at his missing arm before back at her.
“… What is going on?”
The winged woman let out an inhuman snarl as she flung her arms and wings in front of her as the arrow raced towards her. The fire touched weapon came swiftly towards the woman and gently grazed her wing; the feathers it touched turned to dust and fell at once.
Crow blinked from hiding behind her wings and arms before slowly starting to lower them and faced the strange smiling woman as she was still perched happily on her boulder.
“Now, now I don’t want to kill you yet. We are family.” She grinned ear from ear “Now tell me, where are those who are still living? We can’t let stupid mortals escape. It breaks the rules of this game”
Crow’s eyes narrowed, she didn’t understand why this woman would be after the others. She folded her wings against her back and crossed her arms glaring.
“I don’t have a clue what you’re talking about” she snapped out as she gave the woman a ‘like I’d tell you anyway’ look.
“Oh but you do, you see, the whole army rained the fire. This whole world is nothing but a black ball. We took the elements and misplaced them and nature herself is raped of her powers” the woman hopped down from the boulder. Her wings still buzzed quickly and silently unstopping for even a moment.
Crow backed away, glaring just as harshly as before. She felt an old swirling of hate boil up in her. She hated this woman; it wasn’t known… she had always hated this woman.
“Natasha” growled Crow; the woman gave a bitter smile at the name.
“Oh darling you remember me! I know your name too you know…” she grinned “Your real name”
Crow felt a twinge of fear, she didn’t understand what that meant exactly, but it made her fear. Why would her real name give her fear?
“Oh right you don’t remember much.” Natasha smiles “You forgot how valuable your name was.” The woman lifted her bow and arrow once again.
”Now tell me where the living ones are-“the woman was sent to the ground as a large purple tail slammed into her side. Mewtwo gave a deep growl as the woman gasped in surprise at the sudden attack and dropped her arrow.
Crow, go. Mewtwo growled as he placed a foot on the small winged woman’s back. I will deal with- Mewtwo yelped a little as he was sent through the air and landed against the boulder. It seemed with out his psychic powers he was nothing more then a weak kitten.
“Don’t mess with me, you living fool” Natasha growled as she pulled herself to her feet and drew another arrow. “I will deal with you first then find the last two. Then this world can be taken”
Mewtwo growled gripping his side, slowly the pain began to numb away as the bruising healed quickly. But Mewtwo knew that flaming arrow would destroy him, just like the others.
“You will cease at once” Growled Crow, while Mewtwo and the woman known as Natasha had fought. Crow had gotten a hold of the dropped arrow and was placing the point at the back of the smaller woman’s head. As if on cue the arrow tip caught on fire showing what would happen if it was stabbed into Natasha.
“I will kill him.”
“Do you think I care?” Crow growled “I will kill you.”
Poor Mewtwo could do nothing; he was powerless, weak, and defenseless. And he had to rely on this bitter woman to protect him.
He was doomed. He knew that, he was going to die here today and that would be it. He really wished he had done more with his life at this moment before that flaming arrow would be shot.
But it was not shot. The small winged woman slowly lowered her weapon. Her wings had finally stopped beating and lay against her back as Crow held her at arrow point. Natasha closed her eyes as she remained perfectly still.
“Now… gray creature. You go back. I will deal with her.” Crow smirked “Since it seems you are too weak to handle her.”
Mewtwo gave Crow a vile glare as he moved out of target range but did not leave. He paused, he had never been called creature before, and why did Crow call him that? She had used his name before.
Crow, what will you do wi- he paused as the woman he was speaking to stabbed forward with the flaming arrow at Natasha’s skull. But the smaller winged woman seemed to expect it as she had swung her head aside and reached up grabbing the hand that holds it.
“We shall continue this later, cousin” She beat her wings quickly as she released Crow and took to the air, with a quick wink at Mewtwo the woman shot into the red sky and vanished. Both being stared after her for a moment and Crow suddenly took into a run and jumped, flapping her wings she began to take flight.
But she wasn’t getting any higher, there was extra weight. Glancing down she growled in anger.
“What are you doing?” she snapped.
You need to come back with me and explain. Mewtwo growled I want to know who she was.
“Release me and we will see!” Crow growled beating her wings quickly. Mewtwo was forced to release the woman and she glided forward before landing softly on the ground. Spinning around the first thing that came out of Crow’s lips was a warning.
“Do not give her your real name.” She snapped quickly.
Back at the cave that the small band had used as shelter sat the only two humans left in the world. They sat there staring out into the charred plains of there old homes.
It was a horrible feeling, realizing they were alone. Just them. No one else would ever come to find them. No one else knew they were alive… no one else was alive to know.
It was such a loneliness to feel, only two others out there. A none-human and a copy of a pokemon, which was it. And they did not truly care for these two.
All the humans in the world… the one two left were one another and while that was terrifying it was completely comforting as well.
For there was no one in the world more important to each other then well, each other. They knew each other the best; they were family, blood, love. They needed no one else to survive… no one.
“I want my mom.” Cried Rachael as she sobbed onto her uncle’s bare chest, He ran his only hand over her head as the shock from it all was having an odd effect on him. While he knew what was going on his mind would continue to wander, his hope was dying fast and… and if it wasn’t for Rachael he would have gone mad.
“Its ok, everything is going to be ok.” Comforted Timothy as he patted her back, she glanced up at him; the tears streaked her face as her green eyes looked up at him with hope and faith.
“How… How is it going to be ok? Everything we know… everything we once understood… it’s all gone.” She whimpered clinging to him tightly now. The man gave the girl a one armed hug and kissed the top of her head.
“Because we are not alone” He replied simply now as his one arm embrace seemed to sooth the girl a little. Rachael sighed as she glanced back up at her loving uncle.
“I’m still scared” she told him, as if he didn’t know.
“I know. So am I.”
Neither of them noticed two forms slinking into the cave.
Both Mewtwo and Crow were silent as they made there way back to the cave; it was a good five minute walk at least before they would arrive. The pokemon had never been so annoyed at the lack of powers. Well he never had been lacking powers before. Mewtwo wasn’t very pleased.
Crow, I am getting tired of this. Mewtwo grumbled as he crossed his arms. The woman glanced at him but oddly enough she was smiling a little.
“Poor, poor Mewtwo, your pride has been hurt hasn’t it? Got beaten up by a little girl” she pointed out as she walked a tad faster causing Mewtwo to give a deadly scowl at her. Deciding to just ignore the ignorant woman, he moved on.
Now, what is this about not giving that… woman… my name?
“Not just that woman, any of us, anything that has wings on there back like us. Anything with red eyes…” she glanced at him “Your no longer in a living world, the rules have changed.”
And exactly what is that suppose to mean?
Crow stopped walking and turned facing the clone and spread her wings a little, her orange eyes swirled as they now settled on a deep almost red color.
“This world is dead. The name of this world is forgotten. The lives on this world are forgotten.” She smirked now her arms out in front of her “We who are neither alive nor dead hold power over both life and death. The threads of existence are in our hands.”
“Well… not my hands”
She paused now as Mewtwo gave her an awkward look that told her he didn’t have a clue where she was heading. She took a deep breath and continued.
“What gives you, your individuality?” she gave a mocking smile. “What is it that helps determine who you are? What is given to you at the moment you open your eyes” she told him as she now folded her wings against her back once more, her eyes holding such amusement it made Mewtwo want to shudder.
Mewtwo blinked realizing he was meant to answer this and he knew the answer right away.
“Not just any name, your name. It makes you, you. It binds to your very soul the moment you decide it is yours and no one else’s, some may have your name but in truth it only sounds like yours. For no voice is the same and now tongue speaks alike, in the end each name is meant for you and your soul…” she continued to give her devilish smile. “And now in this new world, that is passing between life and death… names mean everything to those who know how to use them.”
… I don’t understand.
“To learn ones true name is to have power over them. But you must know how to use that power to obtain it” she tilted her head with a playful smile now. “You are lucky I do not remember how to use your name, Mewtwo.”
Mewtwo stared in surprise, he understood now. If someone who knew how to use this new ‘power’ found his name or any of the others… it would be very bad.
Your name isn’t Crow, is it? Mewtwo growled out stepping forward towards the woman.
“It is the name I chose for you to know. This world a use there true names so foolishly, they have no idea how they expose themselves.” She turned around her back towards Mewtwo and began to walk. The clone started to follow still many questions popping into his head.
So you took a false name. Yet you didn’t bother to tell us about this danger until now?/ He asked a sharp glare crossing his violet eyes.
“I did not remember until now.” She replied simply not bothering to look at Mewtwo.
[ifind you a nuisance
“I find you annoying”
I loath you.
“Sure you do.”
The two fell silent once again, Mewtwo walking a step behind Crow as the winged woman walked with a prideful stride. The silence remained as they came to the cave. Crow rolled her eyes at Mewtwo as she entered and the clone growled deeply before freezing right beside her.
Standing on a charred pile of charred leaves and grass stood what looked like a man. He was tall, very tall, around seven feet. He wore no shirt and his muscling body was fine and tuned which was very intimidating. He wore baggy pants that were loose until they came to the ankles where they wrapped around tightly much like an Arabic man would wear. Over this was a long loin cloth, it was red in coloring and hanged down past the knees.
Mewtwo looked up at his face now; two scarlet eyes held madness as they stared back. Large wings were folded against his back, they were sleeker and graceful looking almost likes an eagles.
But his face, it held such a cruel menacing look. He had such white skin and his eyes… Mewtwo wanted to look away. But still he could not, for the man still was so unusual and his stare captivating, a single horn sprouted from his forehead and was sent upward peeking the top of his red spiked hair, the fanged smile graced his face as in his arms he held the blue faced form of Rachael. She took in raspy breathes as his strong arm pinned her neck against him, her feet not even touching the ground.
“Check, your move” the man laughed, his voice deem and crackly. Crow glared now stepping forward as she clinched her fists.
“Release the girl” she growled. “Or deal with me.”
“Threat, threat she likes to threat. Stupid little girl is no use to the dead” his arm grew tighter around the child’s throat and Mewtwo knew her neck would snap soon.
The child is of no threat, deal with us alone. Mewtwo calmly said his arms now at his sides and his tail swinging back and forth. The man give a light chuckle as he now wrapped an arm around the girl’s waist.
“Useless child, no use, no use! Burn her, yes?” his wicked smile made Crow shudder a little.
“No, burn her no.” Crow growled holding her arms out “Give her to me.”
“No. Natasha told me not to. I listen. I am good listener” he nodded as if talking to himself. Rachael took in another ragged breath as tears seeped from her eyes.
Crow gave him a dry look; she could not believe what she was hearing. This tall man was an idiot. Not only had that but had the mental capacity of a four year old. Thinking quickly the woman stepped forward.
“I’m with Natasha, she told me to take the girl. I will kill her myself” She gave him a comforting smile. The man glared a moment before his eyes softened. Seemed he had a weak spot for pretty girls.
“Natasha tells you this? Really?” he asked his grip loosening on the girl a little. Rachael took in a deep breath now able to breathe again and began to weep loudly in fear for her life.
“Really, really” Crow replied as she continued to hold out her arms. Slowly the stupid man released the girl and Rachael slipped away but she did not go to Crow’s arms but instead went to Mewtwo.
The poor clone was not expecting the attachment and found the girl clinging to his side and crying. Crow was alright with this, now she could handle the fool with out an attachment. The man looked from the girl to Crow to Mewtwo and then scowled, seemed he just figured out he had been tricked.
“You’re not with Natasha! You tricked me! I burn you!” he held out his arms, with a deep breath each finger began to catch aflame. The flame did not harm the man in any way as if it did not burn him. The flames were not red at all but a blue color showing how hot they truly were.
Mewtwo found himself stumbling back away from the man, as the cave had grown unbearably hot for him and the girl and soon had stepped outside of the cave scooping up the girl moved away from the opening just in time as a black winged figure took to the sky followed by a long burst of blue flame.
Once the flame cleared along with the smoke the tall man exited the cave and spread his long sleek wings. With a few flaps he was air born. His hands still aflame he flapped quickly growing higher into the sky as he gave chase to Crow.
Crow twisted and turned as she flew, he right on her tail as he could fly faster then she was. Crow was growing nervous as she twisted herself out of the way just in time as a blast of flame came flying past her and fell for the ground landing with a poof sound.
She growled as she spun around and snarled at the man chasing her; he slowed now flapping in place as he held up his burning hands.
“Burn” he growled as the flames swirled and shot forward towards Crow. She gasped as she was engulfed in the painful burning. She wrapped her wings around her and with out there aid began to fall towards the ground as a blue burning ball of flame.
Mewtwo and Rachael watched in horror as there only defense against these soldiers of the damned vanished from view behind some boulders. Mewtwo’s instinct caused him to cry out for Crow at the same time he turned Rachael away from the scene. The young girl did not complain as she sobbed against the large mew clone.
The man in the sky grinned as the flaming arms began to fade.
“Play with me and you will get burned!” he laughed now loud and clear, it was almost childlike if it had not been filled with cruelty.
“Is it my turn yet?” called out a voice from the ‘grave’ below. The man stopped laughing just in time to look down and see a large gray object come flying his way. The object soared through the sky and he recognized it as a boulder just in time for it to slam into his form and send him and it still flying upward before it began to make its decent back down to earth.
“Whoopsie I guess rocks aren’t meant to fly”
Mewtwo glanced over his shoulder, he heard her, his ears were stronger then a normal humans.
Crow?!? He called out in surprise.
“I’m alive” she called as she pulled herself on top of another boulder as the first one she had thrown upward slammed into the ground. She turned and waved to Mewtwo and Rachael from the boulder.
Crow, I don’t think he is dead. Mewtwo told her; thankful his telepathic powers were not limited from range. Crow rolled her eyes not believing him.
But she was wrong, she felt a sting of pain as flames scorched her back and sent her falling to the ground. Her back was charred but soon healed over quickly as if she was never harmed at all.
“You can’t kill me with that trick” she growled “It’s not strong enough” her wings spread out as she stood from the dirt she had fallen onto. The man glared down from the boulder she had once stood on. He was covered in ash from being slammed into the ground earlier.
“I will burn you!” he declared sending more flames pouring down onto the woman, but with a quick flap of her wings she pulled out of the way just in time. As the foolish man continued to attack the same spot, the smoke making it hard for him to see where Crow had gone she grabbed a smaller boulder this time, large enough that she had to use both arms to hold it but small enough she didn’t have to lift it above her head.
Crow gave a whistle then a playful smile graced her lips. The man stopped his attack and blinked in surprise before looking over at Crow.
“Uh oh” he said before he was knocked right in the head with the smaller boulder. He yelped as he was sent sprawling to the ground and slammed himself into another rock. While he wasn’t dead he couldn’t think very clearly and his vision was cloudy.
Crow rubbed her hands together letting the ash fall away from them before she walked towards the man. He rubbed his eyes trying to gain his vision back. Opening them now and smiled as he once could see again the smile quickly faded.
“Hi there” Crow waved before she slammed her fist into his all ready bruised face. The man cried out now hiding his face behind his hands as his wings came forward to try and protect his body. Crow ignored this as she swung her leg forward and kicked him in the side knocking the man to the ground.
“Stop! Stop! Yukio surrender!” he cried in fear as he let out a loud whimper. Seemed he couldn’t stand pain as well as he thought. Crow rolled her eyes as she grabbed his red hair and pulled his face up to hers.
“Tell that Natasha wench that, if she comes near me or my two little living beings I will rip her wings off and beat her with them.” She warned as she brought her face even closer to the one known as Yukio. “Also, Yukio, you need to learn how to use your toys. You are a terrible fighter and need to get some anger management” she released him “Leave my sight, you worm”
The man pushed himself away from Crow, his lower lip quivering before he slowly pulled himself to his feet. He turned to go, spreading his wings. But his face no longer showed fear but amusement, his hands caught on fire once again and spinning around he fired another wave of flames at the woman.
If Crow had been there, but no she had all ready taken to the sky.
“You idiot” she smiled “You are of a lower class then me, you are nothing but a weak beta!” she came crashing down on top of him. Her feet first into his skull as the two came towards the ground. A short cry of pain ended as Crow easily crushed his skull in.
“I wasn’t going to kill you” she growled as she stamped down harm getting her foot covered in the red liquid known as blood. “But you are annoying me.”
She sighed as she stepped aside the now dead body of the man, she bent down and grabbed the loin cloth using it to wipe the blood off her feet.
“Don’t worry, you will probably just be sent back to the lowest level of damnation.”
She turned and smiled brightly up at the red sky. “You want us? You have to get through me first you fools!” with that she turned and began to make her way back towards Mewtwo and Rachael.
A short time later, Crow sat upon a boulder sitting as if she owned the world. Feeling very happy with herself and how she had just kicked butt with little effort.
Mewtwo was the first to comment.
You know, I think you were supposed to kill him.
“What?” Crow growled glaring.
He was a fool, stupid and from what I could see, far lower leveled then you. You killed him with ease as it was nothing. You were supposing to. This … was some kind of test. That woman knew how strong you were. The only logical answer is that she was testing to see if you knew you were that strong. He replied.
“…. Care to run that by me again?” she snapped crossing her arms. But fell silent as Rachael pulled on Mewtwo’s arm.
What is it? Mewtwo asked.
“That woman, the one you spoke about… she took my uncle”
