Yeah this is just concept art, still working on the actual pictures. These are more about the ideas behind said pokemon. #1 Dunstaquenhttp://i54.*******.com/mj7d4m.png

Uhhh....that;s not concept art. It's a messy fusion. The idea is good but that is not concept art.

Ok. Thanks. If not concept art (Which I thought just meant a concept that was not fleshed out yet) what should I call it. A idea page?

12th October 2010, 1:34 AM
Hmmm....yeah, probably something like that.

It's name is Dumstaquen, it is a Grass steel type.

Very messy. And on another note, the proper term would be WIP, as if it's "concept art", it's not finished. Try scratching and recolouring parts to make the sprite blend more. Another thing; DO NOT USE THE BASE COLOURS IN PAINT FOR THE LOVE OF BLENDERS! They pretty much suck *** out a plastic straw. Rip the colours off another Pokemon by all means nessesary.

I started from the ground up to redo this one. Is it any beter?

23rd October 2010, 5:14 AM
Yes and no. More effort hasbeen put into this one, but obvious parts, such as Gigear, Parasect's leg, and other Random Bug Pokemon still have parts unrecoloured. Keep trying.

It's looking alot better than the first one. But like what has already been said, there a still quite a few recognisable parts.
Gigear, roopushin, genosect, iawperasu, pinsir and steelix.

Plus it has no eyes.

23rd October 2010, 6:30 AM
It does have eyes. What part is genosect,

23rd October 2010, 6:33 AM
The eyes. At least edit them enough so they blend with the head and body.

23rd October 2010, 6:36 AM
I drew one eye from modifying yenmegas face and the other I scratched.
Also I added the girders and gear so that it looks like trash

Need to keep the things in its back, but is this getting harder to see the original pokemon yet?

24th October 2010, 7:20 AM
Slightly, and improvement is noticable, but the junk on the back is still over-obvious. A colour change and shading change would make them a little less obvious.

My mostly scratch pokemon teracruel. http://i54.*******.com/10f2r84.png
Based of a megasquid

With Teracruel, great name by the way, the legs should be the colour of the antennae, and the orb fragments should be outlined with black and a darker shade of pinky-red. Good concept.
