View Full Version : My team so far...

Started a new game and here is my semi-new roster

The Dream Team

Daikenki @ Swimming Goggles
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Adamant

- Swords Dance
- Aqua Jet
- Megahorn
- Waterfall

The new starter. Enbuoh wasn't doing it for me last game.

Ononokusu @ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
Nature: Adamant

- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

Have to bring back this monster. Might even try to get a shiny... (doubt it)

Zuruzukin @ Leftovers
Ability: Shed Skin
Nature: Careful

- Bulk Up
- Brick Break
- Crunch
- Rest

He's just a badass.

Pendoraa @ Leftovers
Ability: Swarm
Nature: Jolly

- Swords Dance
- X-Scissor
- Toxic
- Poison Jab

I always wanted a poison type in my team.

Still need to fill up my last two slots, but for now, I'm just working on these.
Taking it easy...

-Swords Dance
-Rock Slide

Megahorn handles everything poison jab can but with much more power than X-scissor. Earthquake is awesome. Add some Rock Slide sauce to the mixture, bake for 30 minutes and 180*C. When finished you've got a delicious Awesomesauce souffle, perfect for pleasing trainers with a taste of your flavorsome battling... I should be a waiter at the Sanyou gym with metaphors like that.

The rest of you're team is fine(although I am concerned about Zuruzukin's Rest, even with Shed Skin). Since all your team is physical so far, I suggest:

Shibirudon@Life Orb
-Grass Knot
-Thunder Wave/Toxic

Shanderra@Wise Glasses/Leftovers
Timid/Flash Fire
-Shadow Ball
-Energy Ball
-Calm Mind

These two even out the physical special ratio quite nicely.

I don't see any major problems with the team, well done. Except one thing: what in the name of Psyduck do Swimming Goggles do?

Swimming goggles don exist. (Smash reference ftw)

Like actually... they were a hoax item that was meant to raise accuracy and speed on water pokemon but put non water types to sleep. It was meant to be like an uber choice scarf allowing move swapping and completely screwing over if tricked/switcherooed. Smogon aparantly proved it false as they didn't find any trace of it in the game data...

Well, that's at least what I heard.
