Introduction.

GOOD GOD! I've been trying to make a team for WEEKS now, but I never manage to get 6 Pokémon that fit the strategy. I'll just make something cool nao, and I'll go competitively with it later. WOW it's been ages since I've posted a decent team.

The team is based around Terakion, my awesome physical sweeper. I'll tell more about him later on.
Let's dance!

Jigglypuff @ Evolution Stone
Friend Card
Bold nature, 252 Def / 252 SpDef / 4 HP

o Charge Beam: BP 50, not a very good attack, but it also gives Special Attack +1.
o Hyper Voice: BP 135, nice STAB attack.
o Rest: Heals max. HP, makes you sleep for 2 turns.
o Sleep Talk: Makes you attack while you’re asleep.

BECAUSE I CAN! I have always loved Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff (see my name).
Now with Evolution Stone, there is a possibility to actually use them!

Terakion @ Leftovers
Heart of Justice
Adamant nature, 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP

o Close Combat: BP 180, very good STAB, good accuracy, no devestating down-side.
o Stone Edge: BP 150, also a good STAB, but the accuracy might make me change it to Rock Slide.
o Swords Dance: Attack +2.
o Rock Polish: Speed +2.

I love this pokémon. It can handle every situation very well.
The versatility of this monster will make every opponent cry. Yay \o/

http://static.marriland.com/images/bw/sprites/front/norm/550_basurao_front_norm.png
Basurao @ Choice Band
Adaptability
Jolly nature, 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP

o Aqua Jet: BP 80, very useful priority move that gets Adaptability-bonus.
o Waterfall: BP 160, very good STAB move with Adaptability, for those who think Basurao is weak.
o Crunch: BP 80, decent coverage, being a nice attack.
o Revenge: BP 60/120, when used right, a very strong attack.

Basurao is pretty cool. My first impression of it was “combination of Magikarp and Carvanha”, but with its ability it certainly has some cool options, like a strong priority move.
I chose Choice Band because attacking is just the thing it does.

http://static.marriland.com/images/bw/sprites/front/norm/549_doredia_front_norm.png
Doredia @ Leftovers
Own Tempo
Bold nature, 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpAtk

o Petal Dance: BP 180, a very good attack with no downsides.
o Butterfly Dance: Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed +1.
o Teeter Dance: Confusion to the whole field, except for Doredia (Own Tempo).
o Leech Seed: Good healing move.

Omygod I hate Doredia being used so much! Doredia is MINE! :3
Anyways I prefer a bulky version, to take hits which Basurao and Terakion can’t take, like Mach Punches.

http://static.marriland.com/images/bw/sprites/front/norm/197_umbreon_front_norm.png
Umbreon @ Leftovers
Synchronise
Careful nature, 252 HP / 252 SpDef / 4 Atk

o Curse: Attack, Defense +1. Speed -1.
o Payback: BP 75/150, good STAB, depending on moving last.
o Wish: Heals half of max HP, on the second turn.
o Toxic: Badly poisons the opponent.

Umbreon <3. This beautiful Pokémon gets a role in my team because my team needs a wish-passer.
The set is pretty standard, no? I mean, I don’t have to explain it.

http://static.marriland.com/images/bw/sprites/front/norm/94_gengar_front_norm.png
Gengar @ Life Orb
Levitate
Timid nature, 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe / 4 SpDef

o Substitute: Removes 1/4th of your health, and then creates a decoy for you to take hits.
o Pain Split: Combines you and your opponents health, then splits them in half for both of you.
o Shadow Ball: BP 120, good solid attack.
o Thunderbolt: BP 95, for the lack of electricity in this team.

Gengar is always useful. I chose this set to KO everything it can.
Substitute gives it good versatility, and with Pain Split it can take a LARGE chunk of monsters like Blissey.

Ok folks, this is it. You are allowed to change every Pokémon except for Jigglypuff and Terakion I don't like Doredia and Basurao on this team very much,
though their movesets are free for you to change to whatever you think is better.

Sorry to be a n00b, but what exactly is jiglypuffs held item evolution stone? New to BW battle.

On Terakion, choose between Swords Dance and Rock Polish. Terakion speed ties with base 108s already so I'd go with Swords Dance and Earthquake over Rock Polish.

Return > Waterfall/Aqua Jet on Basauro. Again, choose between them. Return gets kickass coverage with a water move. I'm also quite shaky on Revenge because of it's negative priority and Basauro's low defence.

Umbreon and Doredia are fine.

I'll leave the rest to other raters.

@PKMN Legend Anthony: The Evolution Stone item increases unevolved pokemon's defence and special defence by 1.5 times. Basically it means Porygon2 can have better defences than Lugia while making other pokemon have at least respectable defence such as Golbat.

I'd like to make an objectio, if you don't mind. Terakion doesn't need EQ imo. EQ hits Steels, Electrics, and Rocks, none of which Terakion particularly fear.

You may as well go Return>Revenge. Revenge doesn't give Basu anything noteworthy, and STABed priority is always nice.

Terakion doesn't need Earthquake. Stone Edge / Close Combat have VERY good coverage. The combination of Swords Dance and Rock Polish makes it possible to destroy a LOT of teams. When I'm facing stall, use Swords Dance. When I'm facing something very offensive, use Rock Polish.

Aqua Jet on Basurao is mostly for revenge-killing. Waterfall provides a very strong attack. They have both seperate functions which Basurao wants.

I will do Return over Revenge. Thanks for the rate, sorry to dissapoint you (if I did).

Thanks for the confirmation FoldingScreen.

Does anyone have suggestions for replacing Doredia? I'm probably going to change some things myself as well. I just don't like the team as it is now.
