These are the fist sprites I've made mixing two Pokemon:

Wobbafett and Likitung. (Wobbatung)

Please critique them. Tell me what two pokemon you want me to try, and I might try it.

For first ones, these sprites are awesome!

I see you mostly put parts of other sprites onto the bases, and in this case it works out pretty well. The only thing I can think of now to improve on spriting, is that you gotta learn to scratch parts (= making them yourself) to fit the pokemon you are using.

Again, great job on these since they're your first.

Well, they're very good...er...recolors. I think the word you're looking for is "revamp" but as far as revamping goes, these hardly qualify. All they are is recolors; while that is the first step, you'll notice that a lot of them look sort of awkwardly proportioned. A bit of scratchwork is needed to fix that. Shading usually needs to be redone as well.

As far as recoloring goes, don't forget to recolor most of the outline, too. You did that pretty well with Porygon.

OMG this is awesome ^^

It helps to say why you think so, because as cool as it looks, it isn't all that "awesome". Not to say its terrible, its actually quite good, except for one thing: the shading. While the shading on the shell is ok, the shading on the white is practically non-existent. Try using some darker colors for the shading, or possibly a different color altogether. Apart from this, most of your other recolors are quite good.

You have the right ideas, but you're not making your sprites flow nicely. The Lapras, Dragonair, Pikachu, and Pinsir one, I had no idea what you changed. It looked like a mad scientist ripped some pieces off one pokemon and stuck them on another. As for your revamps, they're just re-coloring, you need to try making the shading a bit different. Charamegon isn't even a tenth of salamence or charizard. Changing the tails/wings would've made it better, and Blastizard has a horrible re-color, not because of the coloring, but because of the pallete you chose. A good pallete with evenly distributed colors and darkening is key to successful splicing. By evenly distributed, I mean your colors don't go from really light, to light, to very dark. They should go from really light, to light, to medium, to dark, to outline dark (outline dark is what you use for outlining the pokemon) These are all C+P, you could try scratching some pieces or changing the texture on some of them. For example, on Sandchu, you can clearly see where you C+Ped the ears and tail because they don't go with sandshrews texture. And on Poliver the top of the head is left alone and rock-free. Like I said, your ideas are good, and you have potential, but a few things changed could make your sprites all the better.

BTW, try not to doube-triple-quadruple post, it attracts forum mods that will most likely ban you ;)
