New thread - in short, post your team here!

Please try and make it more than a simple 'oh it's a, b, c, d, e and f =D' post here - explaining why you choose certain Pokemon and/or what moves they have, etc makes your post more interesting to read, and you look cooler for doing just so as well! Besides, boring posts are boring.

If you want to get rates/comments on your team however or wish to give comments, please use the 5th gen Ingame RMT forum section. (http://www.serebiiforums.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=30&f=212)

:503: Tarka Lv. 67 @ Mystic Water
Nature: Quiet
Ability: Torrent
- Ice Beam
- Waterfall
- Surf
- Slash

Basically because it's my starter and it's ended up fairly strong. It would be classed as a HM slave if not for the fact that it can use Surf and Waterfall very well as offensive moves.

:621: Ddraigoch Lv. 66 @ Dragon Fang
Nature: Naughty
Ability: Sheer Force
- Outrage
- Crunch
- Dragon Claw
- Superpower

Because it's an insanely powerful physical attacker once you add in the +Attack nature and Sheer Force. Also one of my favourite nicknames that I've ever given. A cookie to anyone who knows why it's called that.

:635: Ghidorah Lv. 67 @ BlackGlasses
Nature: Lonely
Ability: Levitate
- Crunch
- Flamethrower
- Dragon Pulse
- Work Up

Actually surprisingly unpowerful compared to the rest of my team, but Work Up can make up for that. Besides, it's one of my favourite Gen V Pokémon, so what the hell.

:567: Archie lv. 67 @ None
Nature: Gentle
Ability: Defeatist
- Fly
- Rock Slide
- Crunch
- Acrobatics (hence the lack of held item)

Because it's faster than any of my other Pokémon and has the highest raw attack stat (Druddigon and Darmanitan can be stronger when you factor in Sheer Force, though). In any case, it's verrry strong and, like Hydreigon, one of my favourites this Gen. Also it's my Flyer, so it's good to keep around.

:555: Darren Lv. 66 @ Charcoal
Nature: Careful
Ability: Sheer Force
- Fire Punch
- Hammer Arm
- Flare Blitz
- Strength

Because it's an absolute MONSTER. It can one- or two-hit KO basically anything. Even Strength, which I taught to it just because I needed to use Strength, is powerful enough to be worth actually using.

:556: Juanito Lv. 66 @ Miracle Seed
Nature: Modest
Ability: Water Absorb
- Giga Drain
- Energy Ball
- Synthesis
- Petal Dance

I just caught it because it appeared in the wild and it turned out to be pretty strong, helped by the Modest nature and perfect Special Attack IV that it happened to have. I know I made the amateur move of giving it four Grass moves, but its movepool isn't the greatest, the moves do honestly work very well together and the whole thing syncs well with the rest of my team.

THE END.

Blastoise
Venasuar
Charizard
Tyranitar
Dusknoir
Electivire

I've just defeated the Elite 4 Today, and I migrated up a Gible and bred it for good IVs, and now it's a Gabite who replaced my Haxorus. My goal is to get a Garchomp by the end of the week and do some EV training with my team. Volcarona still has to learn Bug Buzz and Gabite needs to learn his moves and be trained up before my team is somewhat finished.

:598: Ferrothorn Lv56
Nature: Brave
Leech Seed
Stealth Rocks
Gyro Ball
Power Whip

Fantastic tank, Ferrothorn can setup leech seed and rocks and then kill with its Gyro Ball and Power Whip. Brave nature lowers speed so Gyro Ball gets more power.

:593: Jellicent Lv56
Nature: Calm
Ice Beam
Scald
Recover
Shadow Ball

Jellicent is an amazing special tank and can dish out some pretty damaging moves. Ice Beam has done me well, and Scald burns physical attackers sometimes. Recover allows me to get my HP back and Shadow Ball takes out my Ghost Weakness and has STAB.

:534: Conkeldurr Lv57
Nature: Adamant
Mach Punch
Drain Punch
Stone Edge
Bulk Up

Conkeldurr is incredibly powerful and can take a hit or two. Drain Punch allows for massive recovery with 140 base attack and 75 base power, while Mach Punch can do some massive damage to things that don't resist it with priority. Stone Edge is very powerful and with his base attack shouldn't have to worry about Flying Types. Bulk Up raises attack and defense. My favorite Pokemon in my team so far.

:637: Volcarona Lv59
Nature: Timid
Quiver Dance
Bug Buzz
Flamethrower
Psychic

Volcarona is a huge threat to any opponent. Massive Special Attack, Speed, and Special Defense AND a move specifically designed to raise all 3 of those stats at one time makes it something to be desired. The only move up there that I don't have is Bug Buzz at Lv70. That's my planned move set pretty much.

;444; Gabite Lv26
Nature: Jolly
Earthquake
Swords Dance
Dragon Claw/Outrage
Fire Fang

Garchomp is the scariest Pokemon in the entire series and nothing can counter it effectively in OU. It has come back down to OU from Ubers so we can use it again. There are too many awesome things to say about Garchomp to even say here. That's my planned move set above.

:571: Zoroark Lv55
Nature: Timid
Dark Pulse
Flamethrower
Focus Blast
Nasty Plot

Zoroark works together with Conkeldurr with incredible results, and has stats as a sweeper. It's illusion ability can make it appear as Conkeldurr and then Psychic attacks will be nullified as he sweeps the opponent away with his powerful 120 Base Sp. Attack stat and incredibly powerful special moves. One of the funnest Pokemon in the game.

Isn't this thread the exact same as "What is/will be your team?" (http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=467059)? O_o

The other thread got kind-of derailed from its original purpose, so they decided on opening a new one. There is an in-game RMT forum elsewhere; the old thread was beginning to develop into a RMT thread as well. This is just to post your team, I suppose.

My team: (in signature as well)

;031; Nidoqueen @ Black Sludge | lv.77
Ability: Sheer Force
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpDef
Earth Power
Ice Beam
Flamethrower
Toxic Spikes
Nature: Modest

Nidoqueen usually alternates lead position with Mienshao depending on the situation. Sets up Toxic Spikes if necessary, hits with respectable strength due to Sheer Force, taking her lackluster offenses to essentially 100+ each. Originally was Roserade but I was unfortunately bothered by her frailty and I wanted a better Toxic Spiker for this team, and Nidoqueen was a perfect fit.

:620: Mienshao @ Life Orb (eventually. need more BP) | lv. 77
Ability: Regenerator
252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
High Jump Kick
U-Turn
Fake Out
Stone Edge
Nature: Naive

Most of my team is very bulky, and at a glance, Mienshao looks out of place. She's incredibly frail, but this is made up by her speed and impressive attack. Her ability, Regenerator, allows her to get in when she needs to, deal hard hitting hits, and switch out and re-gain 33% of her health. As a lead, Fake Out can be incredibly annoying. She's defined by risk and is a very nice contrast to the rest of my team.

;350; Milotic @ Leftovers | lv. 78
Ability: Marvel Scale
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Scald
Ice Beam
Recover
Dragon Tail
Nature: Bold

Probably the star of my team. I've been dying to use Milotic on a team for many Poke-generations now, and I haven't been able to find a place for her over and over again. I made it a priority this generation to make a team that I'd fit Milotic into, and with the inclusion of Dragon Tail in this generation, she fits very nicely into this team. Scald is there to protect Milotic from physical sweepers that wouldn't take very nicely to a burn, on the off-chance that T-Spikes didn't make it down. I've considered changing it to Surf, but Scald has burned my opponents when it counts. Ice Beam pairs nicely with Scald, and Recover complements her bulk very well. Dragon Tail is the most annoying thing about her - if I have two layers of T-Spikes and three layers of Spikes down, Milotic phazes her opponents beautifully.

:598: Ferrothorn @ Leftovers | lv. 77
Ability: Iron Barbs
252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpDef
Leech Seed
Spikes
Power Whip
Gyro Ball
Nature: Impish

The most popular competitive Pokemon of this generation, and one of my favorites. Ferrothorn stalls wonderfully for this team; he is insane - sports incredible defenses, a very useful ability in Iron Barbs, and all the while has the ability to Seed an opponent and set up Spikes for tough matches. Power Whip is a great STAB option, and Gyro Ball is incredible against quick opponents.

:635: Hydreigon @ Life Orb (eventually. need more BP) | lv. 77
Ability: Levitate
252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Dragon Pulse
Dark Pulse
Flamethrower
Surf
Nature: Rash

When I first saw Hydreigon, I couldn't get over his Totodile face, but I strangely wanted to use one of them on a future playthrough - the late evolution scared me away from him on my first playthrough, but I decided to use him this time around. I love his varied movepool and his incredible Special Attack is scary. The only unfortunate part about him is his nature, but it doesn't do too much harm as I'm not really playing competitively at the moment. He's a great asset to my team.

:579: Reuniclus @ Life Orb | lv. 77
Ability: Magic Guard
192 HP / 64 Def / 252 SpA
Psychic
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
Trick Room
Nature: Quiet

Reuniclus is scary under a Trick Room. His HP is astonishing and his Special Attack is very high - with Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, and Psychic, he gets amazing coverage. With a good portion of my team leaning on the slow side, Trick Room also plays well with some of my team. Even when Reuniclus isn't under a TR, he performs beautifully.

I just beat the Elite Four a few days ago and haven't done much since just a little training and item searching. I didn't go too far but replaced some Pokemon from my original Black team. Still training before I go to the rest of the unexplored areas.

;319; Sharpedo lvl 51
Nature: Impish
Ability: Rough Skin
- Crunch
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Ice Fang

I haven't used Sharpedo since RSE and since I wasn't too happy with the progress of my starter Samurott I decided to give Sharpedo another run. Although it's fragile it has really good attack and has nice speed. As I train it I can see it helping out wonders. I may replace Waterfall or Aqua Jet with something else possibly Earthquake not sure yet.

:626: Bouffalant lvl 50
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Sap Sipper
- Earthquake
- Wild Charge
- Megahorn
- Head Charge

It replaced my Sawsbuck on the team post E4. I wish I used it earlier as it's pretty decent. Especially with the Sap Sipper ability I don't have to worry about Grass types when using her. I only fear fighting types with her really. I really like the way it looks mainly.

:612: Haxorous lvl 57
Nature: Rash
Ability: Mold Breaker
- Brick Break
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance

The powerhouse of my team it helped my so many times, it usually came through when asked. I didn't want to use it at first since so many people had it on their team but she's just so badass.

:567: Archeops lvl 55
Nature: Impish
Ability: Defeatist
- Rock Slide
- Dragon Claw
- Crunch
- Acrobatics

I love Archeops it does so well for me throughout the game even with it's horrible ability. I was determined to use it when I first saw the release of it. I probably had it the longest of all my pokemon.

:609: Chandelure lvl 55
Nature: Naughty
Ability: Flame Body
- Will-O-Wisp
- Overheat
- Calm Mind
- Shadow Ball

Chandelure pretty much took out most of the E4 for me. She's so reliable and I love using her. I can't wait until I get maybe a few more TMs to teach her.

:580: Ducklett lvl 25
Nature: Bashful
Ability: Keen Eye
- Surf
- Fly
- Aqua Ring
- Aerial Ace

Obviously my flyer and surfer of the team. He luckily just gets to kick back in his Pokeball all game and his only worry is taking me where I desire.

I do not have a team in Black at the moment. But the following used to be my in-game team:
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/497.png
Serperior: Growth / Giga Drain / Return / Leech Seed
After seeing the starters, Snivy interested me the most. So I decided to go with it, and kept Serperior with me through the game. It has a limited movepool, but I still managed to make some use of it. Giga Drain for STAB and life drain, Growth to increase both Attack and Special Attack is it became mixed. Ended up not using Leech Seed that often, though it could be used for more life drain if it turned out to be necessary.
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/596.png
Galvantula: Thunder / Bug Buzz / Energy Ball / Thunder Wave
After looking at the Electric types available in the game, this one had me hooked. The fact that it was Bug as well did not make things worse. Thunder Wave gave me paralysis support, which was very helpful when capturing Pokemon, and Compoundeyes allowed Thunder to be useful due to improved accuracy. Bug Buzz for secondary STAB, and Energy Ball as I could not find any other more useful move.
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/612.png
Haxorus: False Swipe / Shadow Claw / Dragon Claw / Dragon Dance
Out of the Dragons available, this one had interested me for a long time, and I just love its name. False Swipe was awesome for capturing Pokemon, the other moves were better when it came to real battling. After a few Dragon Dances, it could sweep entire teams with Dragon Claw.
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/561.png
Sigilyph: Psychic / Shadow Ball / Air Slash / Fly
Needed a Flying type as I needed Fly, and this one looked interesting, I just love its design. Magic Guard was also awesome. As it has better Special Attack than Physical attack, I based its moveset around Special attacks, Psychic and Air Slash were given while Shadow Ball allowed it to do more damage to opposing Ghost and Psychic types.
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/537.png
Seismitoad: Drain Punch / Earthquake / Strength / Surf
When it was about a Water type (or rather a Surfer), it stood between this guy and Carracosta. I decided to use Seismitoad as it was available a bit earlier. Tympole was the first member of my team that I captured after Snivy. Surf was the main reason I used it, Earthquake for secondary STAB, Drain Punch allowed it to drain life from opponents, and Strength was mainly since I did not want to use another HM slave for that.
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/609.png
Chandelure: Will-O-Wisp / Flamethrower / Shadow Ball / Energy Ball
Wanted a Fire Type as well, Litwick was the only one to catch my interest. Being Ghost as well did not make it worse. Will-O-Wisp was great for burning opponents, Flamethrower and Shadow Ball were its main attacking moves while Energy Ball could murder Water types that thought they could defeat it. Flash Fire allowed it to absorb Fire attacks from opponents as well.

See Sig :3

Miju/Samurott
Careful & Highly Curious
item - Shell Bell
Ability - Torrent
~Razor Shell
~Swords Dance
~Aqua Jet
~Megahorn

My first and favorite Pokemon from Unova. It's my main Pokemon for this game. It's my partner, simply put =D Razor Shell is the main attack, with Aqua Jet in case we need to strike first. There have been multiple times when Miju uses Swords Dance, gets knocked down to Torrent. Aqua Jet is always there to save the match B] Megahorn is cool, and has some nice coverage too.

I'd like to remember all of it's victories, but we'll make some more for sure ;P

Pikachu
Hardy & Often lost in thought
item - Light Ball..when it comes out ^^;
Ability - Static
~Electro Ball
~Subsitute
~Agility
~Return

My PKTOPIA Pikachu. Got her in 2007 on New Years..Nice way to get my first Surfing Pikachu :3 Fought in lots of battles during 4th gen, especially on PBR. But Surf had to be left behind, and so did her Light Ball ;-; She doesn't have the best moveset or even the best options anymore, but she's a favorite of mine. The moves that she does have are mostly experimental atm. It's still the most balanced Pikachu I have with nice Attack and Sp.Attack. Going to re-EV train her and see what we can do until a Light Ball comes our way.

Terri/Stoutland
Relaxed & Scatters things often
item - Leftovers
Ability - Intimidate
~Return
~Roar
~Ice Fang
~Crunch

My first capture in Unova. I love dogs, and I love fluffy, so I had to get one. Thought I'd get one at route 1, but I didnt find any o_o Still, glad I got the one that I did. It's a great powerhouse, and has nice defenses too. Relaxed nature and Intimidate is a nice combination. Roar was really good against a TrickRoom team. Kept using Roar on Bronzong while the other two fought the rest of my opponents team xD If she ever teams up with an Entry hazard Pokemon it'll be nice too.

Sunshine/Unfezant
Relaxed & Hates to lose
item - Flying Gem
Ability - Big Pecks
~Sky Attack
~Roost
~Tailwind
~Featherdance

I sometimes get crap for using Unfezant..But despite not having a-lot of attacks, she's still good. Pretty durable and fast, so she supports everyone pretty well. Her Featherdance with Terri's Intimidate is the main reason we beat Cynthia's Garchomp, and Marshal at the League. Tailwind is also helpful since my Pokemon are a bit low on Speed. When she does attack with Sky Attack, I want her to strike well, so I gave her a Flying Gem.

Braviary took my attention away from Pidove during the pre-release days, and is still my favorite Flying type. But that won't stop me from playing with Sunshine XP

Lillil/Lilligant
Modest & Mischeivous
item - Big Root
Ability - Chlorophyll
~Giga Drain
~Dream Eater
~Sleep Powder
~Quiver Dance

The in-game trade Pokemon from Nacrene city :D I did kinda want Own Tempo at first, but despite that Petal Dance thing being stronger, I grew to like this moveset for her more. Chlorophyll is actually pretty useful when we run into those Drought Teams online anyway XD For a while we had Leech Seed in the place of Dream Eater, but then I got tired of having one attacking move on her :S I didnt even know that she could learn Dream Eater, but I like having it. So with that I gave her the Big Root. If she's gonna be using all Drain-Based moves, why not? She can get back any health lost during Quiver Dance :3

I knew ahead of time that I wanted a Lilligant..It's one of the best looking Pokemon I've ever seen ^-^ And I just couldn't pass up one that's easy to get, has a fitting Nature & perfect IV's either XP

Cinnamon/Cinccino
Docile & Highly persistent
item - King's Rock
Ability - Technician
~Tail Slap
~Wake Up Slap
~Thunder Wave
~Bullet Seed

The cutest thing ever :3 Sometimes I call her Cinnamon-Stix just because :B It eventually became the 6th member of my team during our playthrough. I trained her for a while for her to learn Wake-Up-Slap, and I wanted her to evolve so I tried to find a Shiny Stone for some time too. After a while I let her stay on the team since she got so much progress in. Having Technician was a lucky first-time capture XD Her Wake-Up-Slap works well together with Lillil's Sleep Powder. Sing is just too inaccurate for me..

Nina/Leavanny
Quirky & Scatters things often
item - Scope Lens
Ability - Chloropyll
~Leaf Blade
~X-Scissor
~Shadow Claw
~Entrainment

My Pinwheel Forest Sewaddle. As soon as I caught it during the Team Plasma chase, it was already showing off it's Tiger Blood(WINNING!!). Entrainment is more useful than it seems. It once got rid of Sand Force and stopped us from getting totally swept :s Next to that, she and Lillil work on my Sun Team, so she can pass on Chlorophyll Speed to other party members.

Reshiram
Adamant & Often dozes off
Ability - Turbo Blaze
~Fusion Flare
~Draco Meteor
~Flame Charge
~Blue Flare

The reason for me choosing Black Version. White had Lilligant, Braviary and Reuniclus, and I wanted them all more than the Black exclusives. This guy was the game breaker. I could get them all via trading anyway, but I really wanted to experience the story with Reshiram over Zekrom. It's elegant appearence & epic typing are what got me in the pre-release days. And I just loved the story set-up for it.

I advise training some more, say to 75 with the highest being 77, im actually at 80 and still havent beat them even though i could. Guess i just dont wanna beat the WHOLE game yet. Good movesets btw, i found toxic a scam though and taking Extrasenory over Psychic just for pp is insane to me, if you want a more powerful move just make sure you have some ethers and max elixers.

:612: Kratos
Very fast and has great Attack.
:635: Lerna
I love Hydreigon's design, and it has amazing strength.

Alright, so here I am. I've had three teams thus far, and plan on making a fourth one. I started out with my "dream team" in Pokemon White. They had a theme of "color" names.

http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/503.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/549.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/555.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/560.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/628.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/537.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/579.gif

Samurott ("Blue"). Male. My starter. Had an Impish nature and poor IVs, so he really wasn't a good fighter.
Lilligant ("Green"). Female. Caught her in Pinwheel Forest and she became one of my best Grass-types.
Darmanitan ("Red"). Male. Caught on Route 4 and was a total beast. Easily one of the strongest on the team, probably beating out the Scrafty I had.
Scrafty ("Yellow"). Male. Also caught on Route 4, and won the E4 challenge for me. Fell in love with it. This one used a Hi Jump Kick/Bulk Up set.
Braviary ("White"). Male. Traded from a Serebii user and hatched in my White version. It was a total beast early on when the rest of my team wasn't so great, and remained a strong fighter and possibly my strongest bird.
Seismitoad ("Navy"). Male. Caught as a Tympole just west of Nacrene for Elesa's Gym. Ultimately, he was a stronger Water-type than my Samurott.
Reuniclus ("Lime"). Female. Caught as a Solosis east of Nimbasa. Lime had a really bad nature (one that lowered Sp. Atk), so even though I rotated Pokemon with this team, I hardly ever used Lime.

Next, in my Black version, I made a new team. This one had a loose color theme, though I sort of gave up halfway through and just went with a "fitting" theme. This team was ported to my White game pack when I decided to do a run with all three Starters.

http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/500.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/542.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/592.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/573.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/614.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/530.gif

Emboar ("Amber"). Female. My starter. I started loving this line again after I used her here.
Leavanny ("Leaf"). Female. Caught in Pinwheel Forest and totally beasted against Team Plasma. Leavanny became one of the strongest on the team, next to Excadrill.
Frillish (no nickname). Male. I had just captured Frillish when I decided I'd start over in Black with all three Starters. So I traded over Frillish to my White version without having ever evolved, nicknamed, or really used it.
Cinccino ("Mint"). Male. I caught a Minccino on a whim (having really loved it when it was first revealed) and ended up adoring it with Technician. Cinccino was actually really awesome and exceeded my expectations.
Beartic ("Teddy"). Male. I caught Beartic as a Cubchoo just north of Mistralton (it was Wintertime) to have a better edge on Skyla and, eventually, Drayden (though I never got to fight Drayden).
Excadrill ("Scar"). Male. I caught Excadrill as a Drilbur to help me with Elesa, as I had nothing else but a Pignite, a Swadloon, and a Minccino at the time. Excadrill became a super-powerhouse when he evolved and learned Rock Slide.

Unfortunately, my White version disappeared, and so all of the above Pokemon were lost, along with many others. :(

Meanwhile, in Black, I had started a new team. This team had a color theme, but this time it was not basic colors, but more specific hues and gem names.
http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/497.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/500.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/503.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/560.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/558.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/587.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/623.gif
http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/472.gif

Serperior ("Emerald"). Male. Serperior was my "starter" in this run. Surprisingly, Serprior helped a lot in N's castle, and overall was a fairly good Grass-type Pokemon. He probably would be better if he had a non-neutral nature, though.
Emboar ("Garnet"). Male. I traded over a Tepig egg that knew Superpower, which made Emboar ten times stronger, and much earlier. I love it.
Samurott ("Azure"). Male. I traded over an Oshawott egg that knew Night Slash, Surf, and Ice Beam. Needless to say, this Samurott is 100x better than my original Samurott.
Scrafty ("Gold"). Female. I traded over a Scraggy egg that knew Dragon Dance, Drain Punch, and Zen Headbutt. Scrafty is probably the strongest Pokemon on my team, although all of them are very strong.
Crustle ("Rocky"). Male. I caught Rocky as a Dwebble in the Resort Desert, to help me with Elesa. I caught him along with a Sandile. Dwebble helped me more, so it ended up staying on my team, and after it gained Shell Smash, it was a fast favorite and a big help. Retired.
Emolga ("Minipete"). Male. I traded a Boldore for Minipete and was stunned at how good the Emolga was. I've never really used Electric-types, but Minipete was amazingly good, and with its electric moves and Acrobatics, he ended up inadvertently staying on my team. Retired.
Golurk ("Cobalt"). No gender. I caught a Golett and spent a lot of time training it so that it would evolve (so that I could finally have a Fly-er). I ended up not using Golurk much. I've been somewhat disappointed with it. Retired.
Gliscor ("Amethyst"). Female. I caught a Gligar after beating the E4 and went to great lengths in order to evolve it. I haven't been disappointed, as Gliscor is one of my favorite Pokemon. Acrobatics really helped it this gen.

And for my upcoming run of my new copy of White, I plan on making a team based off of the favorites I had from my lost White copy.

http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/540.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/535.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/554.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/627.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/572.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/548.gifhttp://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/592.gif

I've already made a Tympole egg that knows Earth Power, and I'm in the process of breeding for a nicely-natured Rufflet.

I'm building a post game team with White Forest Pokemon. So far I have:

Gallade
Salamence
Magmortar

But anyway, my team that I beat the main story with is:

Samurott level 82
Haxorus level 80
Zekrom level 80
Hydreigon level 80
Archeops level 80
Victini level 80

1.) Emboar (M)
Lv.: 100

Moves:
- Flare Blitz
- Brick Break
- Flamethrower
- Low Sweep

I chose Emboar because, whenever I start a new Pokemon game, I always seem to pick the fire starter in the game. Also, because looked just so cute! At first, Emboar looked kind of ugly, to be honest. Now, it's design is actually growing on me.

2.) Zoroark (M)
Lv.: 85

Moves:
- Night Daze
- Foul Play
- Shadow Claw
- Night Slash

I swear, this Pokemon is going to hit Lucario status in regards to coolness one of these days, If it hasn't already! I chose Zoroark because I knew at first blush that when I saw it, it would make an excellent addition to my team!

3.) Excadrill (F)
Lv. 79

Moves:
- Earthquake
- Drill Run
- Dig
- X-Scissor

When I was choosing my White team at first, I knew I had to have some Pokemon that could take on Electric types with ease (well, most electric types with ease! I'm looking in your direction Elesa!). When I first caught my Drilbur, I didn't even realize it was a female! Excadrill is like my Nidoqueen of this generation!

4.) Cofagrigus (M)
Lv. 80

Moves:
- Shadow Ball
- Mean Look
- Psychic
- Energy Ball

When I saw Cofagrigus's design I had to put him on my team immediately! I mean who wouldn't want a Pokemon that looks like a freaking coffin? I'm especially happy with Cofagrigus because it's the only Pokemon on my team that has the most diverse movepool.

5.) Simipour (M)
Lv. 79

Moves:
- Waterfall
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Scald

Got to have the customary water Pokemon on my team in case there's anywhere I need to surf/climb waterfalls! I also really wanted to have one of the new generations elemental monkeys on my team!

6.) Hydreigon (M)
Lv. 79

Moves:
- Draco Meteor
- Outrage
- Dragon Pulse
- Fly

Last but certainly not least, the customary Dragon-type that I always put on my team since SoulSilver. I chose Hydreigon because It's the only Gen. 5 Dragon Pokemon (other than Zekrom, but it's legendary, and I wasn't planning on using a legendary for my team this generation) that can learn Fly.

Okay, so I needed a Pokemon with Fly, and the only Birds I like are Normal/Flying. I figured a strong original Pokemon would be a good addition to the team too, and I've always liked Charizard. For the most part, seems to be one of the more popular starters.
http://pokesplash.net/resources/sprites/bw/6-frame1.png
- Dragon Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Focus Blast
- Fly

I've always had a soft spot for Arcanine, and Luxray. I figured I'd include the both of them in my team; and they're the only two without HM Moves. Was a bit tedious getting both Body Slam and Close Combat breed into the moveset, but I've since prevailed.
http://pokesplash.net/resources/sprites/bw/59-frame1.png
- Thunder Fang
- Body Slam
- Close Combat
- Flamethrower

Swampert (in my opinion) is the coolest of all the starters, and only has one weakness (Grass 4). Learns a good set of moves, and obviously I needed a Pokemon with Surf. Swampert's predesessor was a Jellicent; Ghost types make for great contenders when facing Fighting or Normal types.
http://pokesplash.net/resources/sprites/bw/260-frame1.png
- Stomp
- Earthquake
- Hammer Arm
- Surf

Needed a Pokemon with Strength, Aggron looks the part, and has many resistances. Aggron's predecessor was a Nidoqueen. Serperior before that, though the moveset for Serperior is appalling.
http://pokesplash.net/resources/sprites/bw/306-frame1.png
- Iron Head
- Bulldoze
- Rock Slide
- Strength

Again, as with Arcanine I've always had a soft spot for Luxray. Again, comes without a HM move, and again was a bit tedious getting the moves of Ice Fang, Night Slash and Take Down breed into the moveset.
http://pokesplash.net/resources/sprites/bw/405-male-frame1.png
- Ice Fang
- Night Slash
- Take Down
- Wild Charge

Quite simple here; I needed a Pokemon with HM Cut. Galade seemed like a worthwhile choice, being of both the Psychic and Fighting type too. Figured why now?
http://pokesplash.net/resources/sprites/bw/475-frame1.png
- Leaf Blade
- Night Slash
- Aerial Ace
- Cut

Urvogel
Jolly, Defeatist
- Acrobatics
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Fly

Despite the disAbility, Archeops has a great design, and it helps that I'm a dinosaur nut. I've been training him up to replace to my Unfezant, and he's already proven to been a powerhouse.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v327/fotophreak12/Pokemon/514.png
Stir-fry
Docile, Gluttony
- Flamethrower
- Acrobatics
- Crunch
- Grass Knot

Simisear, you've been with me since the start and I doubt I'm gonna replace you. Flamethrower for STAB, Grass Knot to cover weaknesses to Water/Rock/Ground, Acrobatics for power, and Crunch for Ghosts and Psychics.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v327/fotophreak12/Pokemon/596.png
Wattweb
Quirky, Compoundeyes
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz
- Energy Ball
- Toxic

I love love love Galvantula. It's typing means it only gets two of Bug's weaknesses, which is great. Thunder hits like a truck, Energy Ball hits pesky Grounds, and Toxic because spiders are known for venom.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v327/fotophreak12/Pokemon/601.png
Yusei
Adamant, Minus
- Gear Grind
- Shift Gear
- Return
- Volt Switch

Regardless of its shallow movepool, Klinklang is amazing. Really cool design, and great stats. My team tends to have a Rock weakness, so Steel's resistance to it (among the other 10) is always a nice plus.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v327/fotophreak12/Pokemon/612.png
Daizake
Mild, Mold Breaker
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Brick Break
- Earthquake

Dragons are awesome. Axes are awesome. Therefore an axe-dragon is doubly awesome. I originally caught it for Mold Breaker in preparation for Eelektross, and I've always had a Dragon on my team since Ruby.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v327/fotophreak12/Pokemon/503.png
Shellgun
Naive, Torrent
- Surf
- Return
- Ice Beam
- Megahorn

I never neglect my starter. I was sold on Oshawott from day one, and it turning into a samurai sea lion with a great 'stache makes it even better. It hits hard and fast with amazing coverage, and a big favorite of mine.

More Dragons! Along with a steel antelope and a pigeon/pheasant hybrid. I don't rotate Pokemon around as often as I'd like, but I'm gonna work on that. Anyways, Zekrom's awesome, Hydriegon's a great Special Sweeper, Cobalion has a x4 Rock resistance, and I like the Pidove line no matter what anyone else says.

What use to be my Zoroark, Bisharp covers more of a psysical role i needed, With a STAB Night Slash and Psycho Cut to cover his fighting Weakness Bisharp can be a deadly sweeper in almost any team.

Level: 80
Nature: Jolly

Shadow Claw
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Swords Dance

A replacement to Hydregion, Due to already having a Dark Type, Haxorus, provides me with a swift attacker which can render most opponents helpless with his Increased speed (IV 30 speed/252 EV) Although lacking a diverse movepool, he makes up in power.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/617.png
Level:80
Nature: Modest

U-Turn
Bug Buzz
Recover
Giga Drain

A replacement to Volcarona, Accelgors speed is almost unmatched, although his movepool i've given him isn't the best and still working on an ideal moveset he works with his speed to hit fast and fairly hard and to switch out of opposing types against him.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/628.png
Level: 80
Nature: Jolly

Return
U-Turn
Aerial Ace
Fly

Another Physical Sweeper yet Lacking in a filler move (still working on) But his speed and bulk can match the best of them with a max powered STAB return, (better than Thrash/Crush Claw) Braviary can keep a team on his feet with Sheer force.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/593.png
Level:80
Nature: Modest

Scald
Shadow Ball
Ice Beam
Recover

Good Typing, Good Overall Abilities, Jellicent Is a Niche in most teams with his bulk and Diverse Movepool With Scald to weaken physical sweepers overall attack with a burn infliction and recover/leftovers to constantly recover, this is one pringle man you don't want to mess with.

Level: 80

Psychic
Calm Mind
Trick Room

Serious Bulk and power when combined with trick room and you have one powerful Flubber to Deal with with 6x Calm Mind and Trick room, Most of your opponents teams wont survive long with a powerful STAB Psychic and first strike with trick room up.

Just getting around to Opelucid City on Black, fourth run-through on this cartridge so far. I was planning on using every Unova Pokemon at least once (minus the monkeys, Watchog, and Alomomola) but it's starting to get really repetitive for me. I think this'll be the last for a while.

First run-through was:
Samurott
Garbodor
Druddigon
Scrafty
Chandelure
Vanilluxe

Second run-through:
Emboar
Golurk
Krookodile
Ferrothorn
Carracosta
Sigilyph

Third run-through:
Serperior
Archeops
Haxorus
Basculin
Mienshao
Gothitelle

Aaaaaand I gotta get to class, but I'll edit with my current team, more in-depth.

Black Team

Serperior - Basilisk (M)
- Leaf Blade
- Wring Out
- Aerial Ace
- Giga Drain
I just HAD to have Serperior on my team, it looks so cool! Then it doesn't have that great of a movepool, but still...

Carracosta - Big Shell (M)
- Smack Down
- Crunch
- Waterfall
- Ice Beam
I needed a Water-type and I just love the design of Carracosta, the big downfall is the speed, but I can live with that - I might switch Crunch for Trick Room, though.

Chandelure - Candles (M)
- Flamethrower
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
I love Ghost-types, I love Fire-types - I had to get myself a Chandelure. Awsome design and hits quite hard.

Unfezant - Redneck (M)
- Fly
- Return
- Aerial Ace
- Quick Attack
I tend to like the birds from the beginning of the game and thougt that Unfezant would make a good addition to my team. Unfortunatly, this birdie don't learn that great moves... I'm gonna teach it U-Turn, though.

Scolipede - Shoes (M)
- Earthquake
- Poison Jab
- X-scissor
- Venoshock
Once again, I LOVE the design of Scolipede. End of story.

Zebstrika - Zolette (F)
- Thunderbolt
- Return
- Volt Switch
- Flame Burst
I love horses and have waited and waited for the dawning of a new horse Pokémon. Of course, I just had to get a Zebstrika to have on my team. Right now she has been the sixth addition to my White team since I couldn't find any other electric-type to use (that I liked, that is).

White Team
Samurott - Shellhead (M)
- X-scissor
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
I love Oshawott, it's so cute, and Samurott looks awesome. It also has a greater movepool than Serperior and hits harder.

Victini - Victory
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic
- Flamethrower
- Energy Ball
I needed a fire-type, and since I don't like the elemental monkeys I decided to go with Victini - I have not been given reason to regret that, it's GREAT.

Archepos - Rooster (M)
- Acrobatics
- U-Turn
- Crunch
- AncientPower
I needed a Flying-type, and since I used Carracosta in Black I chose Archeops in White. A real powerhouse indeed, nothing stands up to Rooster.

Krookodile - Super Croc (M)
- Earthquake
- Brick Break
- Shadow Claw
- Dragon Claw
Awesome design, great movepool and good typing. Haha, I had to get myself a Krookodile as well as a Zebstrika.

Haxorus - Axe (M)
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- X-Scissor
- Shadow Claw
I traded Axe over from Black when he was just a little Axew and he's been a great powerhouse on my team ever since. I thought about using a Zweilous instead, but they are so hard to raise xP

Right now i'm training these pokemon:

Forretress-Lvl 71
Relaxed/Sturdy
-Iron defense
-Toxic spikes
-Heavy slam
-Gyro ball

I just wanted to try this guy and so far he's incredible

Meganium-Lvl 72
Lax/Overgrow
-Leaf storm
-Light screen
-Frenzy plant
-Petal dance

I breeded this guy to have leaf storm, he's an ok pokemon but he tends to faint a little bit to much, he has frenzy plant because i tend to put those moves to all of my starters

Gardevoir-Lvl 81
Gentle/Synchronize
-Hypnosis
-Psychic
-Dream eater
-Shadow ball

Since 3rd gen i've loved this pokemon but never trained one before until now,
she has great special defense, ummm hypnosis with dream eater it's good in theory but in real it's not good -_-

Victini-Lvl 94
Impish/Victory star
-Brick break
-Zen headbutt
-Flare blitz
-Charge beam(need to go)

I'm disapointed with this guy maybe it's bacause it's a In game pokemon and because it doesn't have a good nature.

Feraligatr-Lvl 86
Relaxed/Torrent
-Thrash
-Hydro cannon
-Super power
-Aqua tail

In game pokemon from heart gold, he's a tough guy and i really like him, just like meganium he has Hydro cannon just for tradition

Pidgeot-Lvl 83
Hasty/Keen eye
-Hurricane
-Giga impact
-U-turn
-Fly

In game pokemon from heart gold, i have her because i need to fly :D

Fourth in-game Black team (all Level 42ish):

Gilligan the Samurott
-Scald
-Surf
-Grass Knot
-Revenge

I love Oshawott. Dewott's design is still amazing. Though I gotta say I've grown to like Emboar more than all of them, and I like Samurott a lot less than I used to, the guy grows on you. Very reliable and its Special Attack is awesome.

Franny the Darmanitan
-Fire Punch
-Thrash
-Rock Slide
-Bulldoze

I love Darmanitan. It's a little slow and frail but I love it. It's a monster. Anyhow, I figured Rock Slide and Bulldoze got the Sheer Force boost, so I TM'd her up. She tends to get swept by Cinccino's for some reason.

Amidala the Beheeyem
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-HP (Ground)
-Thunderbolt

Very slow, but I love the Elgyem line's design. Still reliable with her gargantuan Special Attack.

Carter the Sawk
-Counter
-Rock Slide
-Strength
-Brick Break

Not much to say here. Caught at least one Sawk on each other playthrough, so I figured, why not? He's a keeper, crazy good Attack stat.

Kaa the Eelektrik
-Thunder Wave
-Flash
-Thunderbolt
-Crunch

Flash is going to be replaced by Acrobatics, I just haven't gotten around to it. Took me forever to find this guy, and even longer to train the darn Tynamo, but it was worth it. Grabbing a Thunderstone soon.

Betsy the Leavanny
-X-Scissor
-Leaf Blade
-Shadow Claw
-Aerial Ace

Standard Leavanny, nothing special. Pretty weak compared to everyone else, both stats-wise and survivability-wise.

252 Attack/252 Speed
Earthquake
Outrage

Swords Dance

I was searching through Unova, and made my way back into Opelucid City to visit the Gym Leader Iris, who I'd befriended after beating her. I talked to her about my recent loss, my starter pokemon Samurott, who saved me from a wild Elektross. I teared up, but I knew I had to move on. We chatted a little before running through the outskirts of town before finding a cave. We travelled through, and before our eyes was a little Gible. It growled at us as it turned from the minor food it had, and tried to intimidate us, though the pain that showed in it's eyes was obvious. It must have realised, and ran back inside the depths of the cave. Iris told me to wait while she went in, since she was used to dragon types. But I knew I had to do it. I ran through and found the Gible, who quivered in fear. But I calmed it down, and took picked it up and walked out. I took it to a Pokemon Centre, it turned out no one was it's owner.

I asked him if he wanted to join me, and thankfully he said yes, he had taken a liking to me. I caught him, and we went through Unova where he evolved twice into a Garchomp. Along the way, I named him Stallone. Because he has the will to fight, and never backed down. Also because Rocky used to collect debts for Loan Sharks, and Land Shark/Loan Shark, the resemblance, yea?

He filled the hole that Samurott had left, and I know my best friend is staring down happily.

Lol, I cbf doing anymore right now, will quote this post later probably and fill my other members in.

I'm a firm believer that my team should consist of my favourite Pokémon. Who cares if they don't work well as a team!

That said, I do EV/IV train whenever possible.
I'm going to use Mystery Dungeon faces because sprites are overdone.
(Unless it's a 5th gen...)

CHARIZARD (Can't change that nickname, kinda annoying...) Shiny
Lv 100 Modest
Blaze
30/17/16/17/6/20
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/b/b6/MDP006.png

HP 296
Attack 171
Defense 178
Sp. Attack 333
Sp. Defense 181
Speed 288

Flamethrower
Air Slash
Dragon Pulse
Ominous Wind

I got this little shiny beaut back in Gen 4, when I was trying to get a Modest Charmander. Charizard is my 7th favourite Pokémon and the reason I got Red. (Cover looked cooler, I was 6, don't judge)
It's a shame Stealth Rock cripples him.
If I ever get a decent DW Modest Charmander, I'll replace it though.

Hydreigon
Lv 100 Modest
Levitate
30/30/12/31/9/31
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/6/62/Spr_5b_635.png

HP 324
Attack 220
Defense 197
Sp. Attack 383
Sp. Defense 194
Speed 295

Dragon Pulse
Dark Pulse
Flamethrower
Surf

My 6th favourite Pokémon. As soon as I saw it, I instantly thought "I need that on my team" Plus, Dark/Dragon is such a cool sounding combo.
The IV's were pure chance.

Grumpig
Thick Fat
Lv 100 Modest
31/1/31/31/31/9
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/2/27/MDP326.png

HP 301
Attack 86
Defense 229
Sp. Attack 306
Sp. Defense 257
Speed 174

Psychic
Focus Blast
Power Gem
Shadow Ball

My 5th favourite Pokémon. Bred this on my copy of White, when I decided to try out IV Breeding. Elevated from 7th ever since his B/W sprite looks like he's on an invisible armchair.
Those IV's, probably my luckiest break ever. And it happened for Grumpig. Some may say it's wasted on Grumpig, I wouldn't think so.

Krookodile
Moxie
Lv 100 Adamant
26/31/15/30/26/31
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/c/c8/Spr_5b_553.png

HP 326
Attack 366
Defense 160
Sp. Attack 148
Sp. Defense 171
Speed 283

Earthquake
Crunch
Stone Edge
Brick Break

I actually prefer Krokorok, who is my 4th Favourite Pokémon. But I'd be pretty dumb to not use Krookodile instead.
That said, Krookodile is still pretty cool. This one was IV breeded on purpose.

Jupitol
Overgrow
Lv 100 Modest
31/14/13/16/0/24
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/e/e9/MDP254.png

HP 282
Attack 170
Defense 148
Sp. Attack 323
Sp. Defense 175
Speed 332

Giga Drain
Focus Blast
Dragon Pulse
Grass Knot

Personally, I think Sceptile is ugly as sin, but Grovyle is my 2nd favourite Pokémon, hence why I called it Jupitol (Japanese name for Grovyle)
IV's were just random. However, as soon as I get a good DW Totodile, this is getting replaced, solely because of Sceptile. It's just not a very good looking Pokémon.

Groudon
Drought
Lv 100 Adamant
19/24/12/1/31/26
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/0/0c/MDP383.png

HP 329
Attack 431
Defense 297
Sp. Attack 185
Sp. Defense 216
Speed 274

Earthquake
Fire Punch
Thunderpunch
Dragon Claw

My favourite Pokémon. This particular Groudon was caught in SoulSilver.
The IV's were just lucky. The amount of times I've OHKO'd a Kyogre with Thunderpunch is funny.
Shame it's not allowed on Random Matchup's...

And there's my team. Not quite finished, but almost there.

My current Black version team consists of Serperior, Swoobat, Darmanitan, Simipour, Zebstrika and Zoroark. Most of these Pokemon work well enough, but I have to admit that I'm looking for a change. I'm just so tired of using Zebstrika, so I may switch up my roster soon. Serperior is also starting to lose its cool, so I might replace it with an older Grass-type. I adore Darmanitan and Zoroark, though. Darmanitan has amazing physical strength and it always pulls through for me. Zoroark also has some amazing attributes, and its Illusion ability comes in handy sometimes. Simipour and Swoobat are just there to fill space, but even they come in handy sometimes.

My Black and White teams (level-wise, all Pokemon are in the 70s and 80s):

Black:
-Garchomp
-Starmie
-Infernape
-Togekiss
-Heracross

I only have five Pokemon on my team, though I may get a sixth if I ever get interested in playing this game again. Anyway, I just raised all these Pokemon on my Platinum and transferred them over because I wanted to quickly get a good team together. I picked these Pokemon mostly because they are good sweepers. Starmie, Infernape, and Togekiss are Special sweepers while Garchomp and Heracross are Physical sweepers.

White:
-Simisage
-Simipour
-Chandelure
-Salamence
-Electivire
-Scizor

First three came from Black, last three came from Platinum. I actually traded these Pokemon in as soon as possible, so that I could go through most of the game with my "real" team. I picked the Simis because I think they`re really cool. Chandelure is there because I love its Special Attack stat. Salamence is there for its high Attack, Electivire for its electric immunity, and Scizor for its many resistances.

I'm trying to plan out a new team for a new run through of white. I got tired of the after game and now that I have some time, I'm wanting to play with an all new team. I'm thinking about ditching whatever starter I choose ASAP and going from there. So far my ideas are

Jellicent
http://floatzel.net/pokemon/black-white/sprites/images/555.png
Darmanitan
http://floatzel.net/pokemon/black-white/sprites/images/567.png

Some type of dragon..I'm thinking Druddigon since I used Haxorus in my last run. But I may cave and use Haxorus again since he got me through some really rough situations.

The next few I'm not sure about.

Scolipede- just because I never use bug types and he is pretty cool looking. Wish he didn't have poison as a second type, though, as he would mainly be here for psychics...

Lilligant, for some water coverage, and also because I have heard nothing but good things about Lilligant. I think Lilligant is the top contender as of now since 3 of the pokemon have a weakness to water.

Joltik- bug and electric, for water and dark coverage...he is next to the top with Lilligant.

Cincinno, I never have normal types on my team and I could teach him some electric moves.

Here's my take on these four.

The next few I'm not sure about.

Scolipede- just because I never use bug types and he is pretty cool looking. Wish he didn't have poison as a second type, though, as he would mainly be here for psychics...

Scolipede is alright, but is nothing special. The Poison-type is really an awful type, and I haven't heard very much about Scolipede being very fantastic.

Lilligant, for some water coverage, and also because I have heard nothing but good things about Lilligant. I think Lilligant is the top contender as of now since 3 of the pokemon have a weakness to water.

I can also vouch for the good things. I've been using Lilligant and Leavanny simultaneously in my recent White run. While both are very good, and while Leavanny's Bug-typing makes him valuable, Lilligant is the Grass-type I really prefer. She's magnificent with Giga Drain (make sure you let Petilil learn that before evolving her), Quiver Dance, and Sleep Powder, especially if she's holding the Big Root. With Own Tempo, shes good with Petal Dance, and I've seen her use Leech Seed very well as well. What's really nice about Lilligant is that she's generally fast enough to put the opponent to sleep, and can replenish lost HP with Giga Drain and Big Root. Her Sp. Atk is good enough to take out the opponent (especially after Quiver Dance), and she doesn't faint often because she can restore her own HP. Out of these four, I definitely say go with this one, especially since half of your team will be weak to Water-types, and Joltik can't deal with Seismitoad. And even in the Elite Four, where there isn't anything that is bad against Grass-types, Lilligant is useful because it can put big threats to sleep and then drain them completely, like all of Marshal's Pokemon and numerous others in the League.

Joltik- bug and electric, for water and dark coverage...he is next to the top with Lilligant.

Eh. I haven't heard much about this one in general. It doesn't seem bad, but it doesn't seem spectacular either. If you want an Electric-type, Emolga's actually a very good choice (though I recommend Lilligant over Emolga).

Cincinno, I never have normal types on my team and I could teach him some electric moves.

Cinccino's also very good. I've been using one and he's very awesome with Technician. The only thing I've noticed is, when you get to the League, he stops being as useful. I'm having a lot of difficulty using him in the post-game, while Lilligant has given me better mileage.

I would recommend Lilligant.

Be sure to get a good nature! Sp. Atk- or Speed-boosting would be ideal. My Lilligant is Naive and she's been amazing.

Is this how it will stay or the pre-evolved pokemon?

Anyway I find Tepig/Emboar isn't to good because of the fact alot its moves call for recoil damage. I don't understand why everyone likes Oshawott so much. I prefer Snivy as a starter and Sandile is fantastic as a Krookodile! Haxorus is also great as a psychical sweeper and Archeops is great from what i hear.

I am planning to evolve them, and I used Snivy for white, thats why I picked Oshawott this time around. Tepig, just because he was fire and fighting in one.

First off everyone says Serperior sucks and it DOESN'T ok! I find it the best of the starters, and as for Emboar, did I say all its moves were recoil? No i didn't i said alot which is referring to Cheren and his Emboar. As for ther one i judged, at least you used snivy once its really good. And Oshawott isn't bad. Tepig i just dislike alot, i don't know what it is but every time i see one i wanna kill it with serperior and splash o.o ( if it could even learn that or if it was even a attack o.....o

My Black team is

Hydreigon: mild; dragon pulse, fly, fire blast and dark pulse. Chosen ecause Hydreigon was one of my fave pokemon released this gen, answered my prayers for a dark/dragon, and is downright awesome if bloody difficult to raise (got him as an egg).

Volcarona: rash, heat wave, bug buzz, quiver dance and psychic. Again hard to raise because his previous form (also raised from an egg) favours atk while his nature is made for sp atk, but like the Hydreigon, totally worth it now he's grown up. It's been commented on by by opponents that he must have very good speed ev's, because even without EV training he's faster than a volcarona should be.

Serperior: bold, strength, leech seed, toxic, leaf storm. Yeah her nature sucks, but I soft resetted for ages for a girl, and wasn't prepared to keep going until a got a girl with a good nature.

Mienshao: adamant, u-turn, jump kick, fake out, acrobatics. I loved the elegant design of this pokemon, and mine has been the gem of my team. She's fast, versatile and her attack is just stupid. Oh, and regenarator+u-turn is amazing.

Seismitoad: neutral, rock slide, brick break, surf, earthquake. Planned to raise a Simipour, but this darling ended up carrying my team instead. She can take a hit.

Musharna: neutral, hypnosis, dream eater, charge beam, nightmare. It was either Gothitelle or one of these, so it'll be Gothitelle in a future game. Her hp can really absorb some special damage, and she really is a nightmare after a few charge beams!

I only learned about EV training after this team, sadly, but I wouldn't change a thing about them. They whipped every gym leader-in game, and Hydreigon, Volcarona and Mienshao haven't done badly competitively, either.

STack - I will vouch for Galvantula. Mine has bug buzz, thunderbolt, energy ball and thunder wave, and along with the ability compoundeyes he is AMAZING. And mine is neutral natures, so if you had one with +sp atk...yowza.

Here's my current/planned White team. I am playing Pokemon White... which is more interesting than Black so far. There was no Gothitelle makes me sad and I don't like the other Psychics... so I traded my bred Gothita over to White. I also traded over level 1 Giratina from HG/SS to White (well someone helped me trade it over because I wanted it for my team). Enough talking more team:

Gothita - lvl 29
-Psyshock (gonna be replaced with Psychic)
-Dark Pulse
-Fake Tears
-Hidden Power (coming soon and her hidden power is Fighting!)

Comments: fake tears + special attack = pawnage! Also, her Attack is one over her Sp Atk

Giratina - lvl 25
-Dragonbreath (gonna be replaced with something else)
-Destiny Bond
-Onuius Wind (gonna be replaced)
-Acinent Power (gonna be replaced)

Comments: I love this dragon Pokemon! It's too cute and I liked it following me in Hg/ss. I wanted it for my White team.

Krokorok - lvl 29
-Crunch
-Assurance (gonna be replaced)
-Dig
-Sand Tomb (might also be replaced)

Comments: i wanted a Sandile after I saw my friend's Krookildile. I love mine <3~

Scraggy - lvl 24
-Faint Attack (gonna be replaced)
-Sand Attack (might be replaced)
-Brick Break
-Payback (might be replaced)

Comments: lovee it's type combo. and any pokemon who can battle while keeping their pants pulled up and still kick *** is awesome to me

Future team members:
Klink
-insert member here- (could be Liepard)

Thoughts or advice?

Black:

Sandile(Naive)LV23
-Torment
-Sand Tomb
-Assurance
-Retaliate

This was a recent addition.I love Krookodile and Sandile is pretty powerful, so i made my mind to not bother with Scraggy/Scrafty and decided to use this monster as it was helpful in an old runthrough.

Cottonee(Gentle)LV21
-Growth
-Leech Seed
-Stun Spore
-Mega Drain

I wanted Cottonee/Whimsicott as i love it as one of my favourite 5th Gen Pokemon. I have thought about ditching it but i just think of Whimsicott and keep it.

Shogun AKA Dewott(Adamant)LV25
-Tackle
-Tail Whip
-Razor Shell
-Focus Energy

My favourite starter since 5th Gen began. It's final form is a beast. Unfortunately, i have only used it once since i got B/W. Now it's twice.

Palpitoad(Modest)LV25
-Aqua Ring
-Round
-BubbleBeam
-Mud Shot

I wanted Seismitoad as it is,IMO,one of the best Froggies ever. It's movepool is somewhat shallow, but i'm sticking with this Pokemon through and through.

Darumaka(Jolly)LV25
-Incinerate
-Rage
-Fire Punch
-Strength

I love how Darmanitan hits like a truck, as does Darumaka, In-game wise. Hustle does create unhelpful missed, but the Power boost is epic! It was fun to use in my first ever playthrough. Sticking with it.

Woobat(Timid)LV23
-Confusion
-Heart Stamp
-Air Cutter
-Assurance

This Pokemon is a first-timer on a runthrough team of mine. I originally wanted Roggenrola but i saw Woobat and thought "Why not?". Helpful and I am sticking with it.

Meme the Serperior
Nature: Sassy
- Coil
- Strength
- Leaf Blade
- Leech Seed
I think mine turned out to have a really good attack IV, which makes up for its mediocre offenses. If it has time for a Coil or two, it's really rather good, but it can still dent things without it.
If you're just looking to speed through the game so you can get to the postgame stuff, then Serperior will probably be sub-optimal. I wouldn’t go so far to say that it’s dead weight, though.

Oz the Archeos
Nature: Careful
- Fly
- Acrobatics
- Rock Slide
- Dig
This thing is amazing; it kills pretty much everything. Seriously, I had to stop letting it battle after Mistralton to let the rest of my team level up. Its ability is really not a problem in-game since you can use items while battling. Totally recommended.
Fly and Dig will probably be replaced later, but I really enjoy not having to use Escape Ropes when I'm in caves ...

Red Hot the Krookodile
Nature: Adamant
- Dig
- Crunch
- Rock Slide
- Dragon Claw
Admittedly, I had to 'baby' it for a while, as it had poor moves and defenses when I caught it, but it was worth it.
Dig will obviously be replaced with Earthquake. Dragon Claw is actually kind of disappointing; it rarely OHKOs, but I figure it'll be useful for N and Ghetsis...

Cyanide the Jellicent
Nature: Bold
- Surf
- Brine
- Ominous Wind
- Recover
A Special wall of sorts, and it covers up my water weakness with Water Absorb.
Horrid moveset, I know. I'm replacing Ominous Wind with Shadow Ball, and I'm considering either Hydro Pump or Blizzard instead of Brine, but the accuracies bother me. If only Ice Beam was accessible pre-E4...

Corona the Lampent
Nature: Bold
- Flame Burst
- Shadow Ball
- Toxic
- Hex
Flame Burst sucks, yes, but I don't have anything better yet. I'll probably replace Hex with Energy Ball or Pain Split later too (that's why I haven't evolved it yet; Lampent gets Pain Split at level 61, ugh).
Unless you seriously want this on your team, you probably shouldn't bother; it's time-consuming to train and requires a Dusk Stone. I had a Darmanitan before in her place, and he was great and came early on too. (I only boxed it because I like Shandera and needed another special attacker).

Kitaki the Scrafty
Nature: Serious
- Hi Jump Kick
- Brick Break
- Crunch
- Facade
I'm also kind of dark-weak, if you didn't notice; the other team members are either weak to Dark, frail, or can't hit back supereffectively. Scrafty, though, is defensive, 4x resists Dark, can hit back with STAB Fighting moves, has a great ability, and looks awesome.
Facade is blah, so what should I replace it with...?
I've heard a lot of people say that Scrafty is great against 3/4 of the E4, since it can sweep Shauntal and Caitlin with Dark STAB and Grimsley with Fighting STAB. I wouldn't know yet though.

Right now, it has two Pokemon that are weak to Rock, one (Larvesta) being 4x weak. Against Fighting-types, Zoroark and Gigalith will not fare well.

So against Marshal, the only two Pokemon that are relatively safe are Torterra and Dewott, not counting Torterra's weakness to Mienshao's U-Turn.

I don't know what I can do. As it is, my team cannot take on Marshal. I'm considering using Sigilyph, but I'm not sure if that's a good choice. If I used Sigilyph, I'd probably dump Zoroark.

Is it? Is Sigilyph a good Pokemon to combat Marshal, despite its Flying typing, which leaves it susceptible to Rock attacks?

My basic team:
Serperior - I kinda like the grass starter.
Simipour - Kept the Elemental Monkey throughout the whole game.
Darmanitan - Needed a strong fire-type.
Galvantula - needed a fast Electric-type since my last Electric-type, Eelektross, didn't have good speed.
Zoroark - I like Zorua and having a strong Dark-type is great
Braviary - My flyer of the team.

Pokemon I'm considering to use after completing most of the Unova Dex:
Dream World Espeon
Togekiss

I've finished the main storyline, so now I'm just training to beat the E4 the second time, and this is my current line-up as I type:

:503: Samurott @ Mystic Water
Torrent
Nature: Brave
Level 61
- X-Scissor
- Waterfall
- Surf
- Ice Beam

He's decent at both Attack and Sp. Attack, so I feel I can give him moves for both stats, which also allows him a better coverage. He's my starter, and I never abandon my starters in my in-game team, so he was always going to stay.

:571: Zoroark @ BlackGlasses
Illusion
Nature: Naive
Level 60
- Flamethrower
- Dig
- Night Slash
- U-Turn

Night Slash is only temporary until I get Night Daze, and again, Zoroark is pretty decent in both Attack and Sp. Attack, so there is more options and variety. I've given him the best moves I feel possible right now, and U-Turn is in there to switch out when he's threatened, he's so fragile.

:579: Reuniclus @ Quick Claw
Magic Guard
Nature: Docile
Level 61
- Recover
- Energy Ball
- Focus Blast
- Psychic

High HP, great Sp. Attack, good defenses and Magic Guard, I rather love my Reuniclus. The only problem of course being the speed, so this is sometimes countered with the use of Quick Claw. He can take a good couple of hits, then Recover the damage, before inflicting his own pain with a choice of three great special moves.

:612: Haxorus @ Dragon Fang
Rivalry (Female)
Nature: Quirky
Level 60
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Brick Break
- Dragon Claw

A phenomenal attack stat, with great speed after a Dragon Dance or two, and Haxorus is a sweeping machine. I'm considering opting for Outrage instead of Dragon Claw when she reaches the appropriate level, which leaves the impressive force of STAB Outrage, Earthquake, and Brick Break to counter those ice types, lovely stuff.

:628: Braviary @ Sharp Beak
Sheer Force
Nature: Bashful
Level 61
- Fly
- Hone Claws
- Strength
- Rock Slide

Fly and Strength were needed for in-game use, but they both have high powers and are also both STABed, so they're perfectly valid for in-game battles too. Rock Slide was about the only other move I could teach him via TM, and Hone Claws adds to the high attack stat while increasing the reliability of Fly and Rock Slide.

:637: Volcarona @ SilverPowder
Flame Body
Nature: Naive
Level 70
- Toxic
- Quiver Dance
- Flamethrower
- Bug Buzz

I captured this Volcarona from the Relic Castle, and immediately took it over Simisear. I replaced Heat Wave with Flamethrower for the improved accuracy over a minor drop in power, while Bug Buzz provides another powerful STAB, with Quiver Dance ready to raise key stats when needed. Toxic is there as another choice of move when it is needed.

Well, i have leveled up since then and have gone on a huge training spree:

Samurott@Lv36
Adamant Nature

Timid Nature
Unaware

Whimsicott@Lv30(Holds Rocky Helmet)
Gentle Nature
Prankster
-Flash
-Leech Seed
-Tailwind
-Giga Drain

Top annoyer. Flash decreases accuracy which rocks.

Krokorok@Lv36
Naive Nature

One of my favourites, of which is very powerful, too.

I have a question.

I am getting White in a few days and I was wondering if you could give me advice about the teamset when I want to start with the fire starter ^^

well, with tepig you cover fire and fighting... I would suggest a Pidove or Blitzle, which you can catch early enough and are quite strong. Roggenrola as well (if you manage to trade it for later evolution). Then you need a grass/bug type, which you can catch in the forest.

I have a question.

I am getting White in a few days and I was wondering if you could give me advice about the teamset when I want to start with the fire starter ^^

If you're starting with Tepig, my suggestions would be thus;

Pansage/Simisage/Sawsbuck for Grass type
Seismitoad/Carrarosta for Water type
Swoobat/Sigilyph for Psychic/Flying or Reuniclus for Psychic
Braviary for Flying

Something along those lines, although once you're in-game you'll garner a pretty good idea of which Pokemon are good for you.

Covering most of the bases, and then be unorthodox with move allocation. For example, my Braviary covers taking out Fighting and Grass types with moves like Wing Attack, but also excells are being anti-Psychic and Ghost with Shadow Claw.

Just caught a Duosion in my White version that is "relatively superior" and has very nice stats, so I'm going to trade it to Black to complete that team!

This is (or will be) my current Black team.

Terra the Torterra, Lvl. 35 ♂
Wott the Dewott, Lvl. 30 ♂
Staravia, Lvl. 29 ♂
Helios the Larvesta, Lvl. 29 ♂
Lime the Duosion, Lvl. 33 ♀ (I think it's ♀, I can't remember)
Roxanne the Roggenrola, Lvl. 30 ♀

Excited. Today I plan on getting Roggenrola up to Lvl. 36, evolving it, then trading it to evolve again almost immediately. Staravia will also evolve, and hopefully, so will my new Duosion.

My current black team:
Serperior:
Pretty much I use the grass starters.. I have no clue... Tepig and Oshawott are pretty strong, but I guess I'll stick to my "tradition"

Krookodile:
At first glance, it seemed to be pretty strong, and the types, ground and dark, are types that I need and don't usually have.

Caracosta:
Although it's soooooooooooooooooooooooooo sloww... pretty strong water type and with it's sturdy ability, it can act as a staller...for one turn.

Galvantula:
Electtic and bug...unique combo... seemes pretty strong, and really helpful!

Simisear:
I originally got panpour, but with the lack of fire type, i went to lostlorn forest and caught a pansear...

Unfezant(however u spell it)->zweilous(soon hydreigon)
unfezant, the "common bird" of the reigon- looks awesome... but when i get my zweilous to evolve, byebye birdie!! Hydreigon can finally lurn fly AND surf, which is stong and useful....
i'm currently creating a competitve team, which i hope will be pretty stong as well!

- Psychic/Calm Mind Don't use Calm mind, it already hits like a truck, and will still be frail.
- Flamethrower

- Samurott -

- Hydropump/water pulse Use X-Scissor for coverage, because Surf is nearly as powerful, but has more PP and use then Hydro Pump.

- Excadrill -
- Earthquake

- Swords dance
- Brick Break That's fine, but X-Scissor over Brick Break wouldn't be a bad move.

Lilligant. That will help this team most, since Darmanitan and Excadrill can both use Rock Slide incredibly well (Darmanitan because it has Sheer Force and Excadrill because it's an Excadrill). Lilligant can put its opponents to sleep, and then dish out massive hurt with Giga Drain (thus healing itself) and Petal Dance (especially after Quiver Dancing), and usually outspeed her opponent in the process. Archeops is good for hitting hard and fast, but once it gets hit with any of its five weaknesses and its HP drops below half, it's totally useless.

Hydreigon can't fly?

I'd say just get a random Pokemon that can Fly and keep it in your box. Thankfully, you don't need to fly that much unless you're getting extra stuff.

He can, but he's a modest Hydreigon so I didn't want to waste a spot on Fly (plus he won't be evolved for quite awhile. This is just my "end team", it's still a Deino egg right now..)

I love making themed teams. Like a team based on a movie, or some sort of classic mythology, or something like that. Here is one of my possible B/W themed teams which I have considered going with.

Theme 1: The Princess Bride

:617: Accelgor-

Represents Westly/Dread Pirate Roberts. Once a knightly and noble person, the hero of the tale, but then kidnapped, stripped of his noble stature, and forced to become a dreaded pirate in order to survive. Seems to fit Accelgor extremely well, what with his lower evolution being a knight before his armor is stolen and he transforms into a darker ninja sort of warrior. Also, all in black and wears a mask (or looks like it does).

:625: Bisharp-

Represents Inigo Montoya. I can't imagine anyone other then the "Sword Blade Pokemon" for Inigo, the greatest swordsman in the world, and Bisharp just suits him perfectly. The Dark/Steel type (Inigo is a good guy, but he is definately a dark guy, driven by revenge and hatred, kidnapping a princess, even though he becomes a good guy later in the story), the focus on swords and blades, everything about Bisharp is just about perfect for Inigo Montoya.

:534: Conkeldurr-

Represents Fezzik the Giant. Is there any Pokemon more perfect for Fezzik? Huge, muscular, one of the highest attack rating of any pokemon on record, it's just perfect. Walks with concrete canes apparently, which works well with Andre the Giant (the guy who played Fezzik) having back problems when they made the movie. Also has a somewhat ugly but remarkably lovable face, which also works with Fezzik.

:606: Beheeyem-

Represents Miracle Max. Besides being a psychic type, and therefore the most in sync with magical or mystical powers, Beheeyem works with Max for a few reasons, first, Beheeyem apparently messes with memories, entering people's minds to know what they know and change what they think they know. Miracle Max speaks to people who are "mostly" dead in order to discover their knowledge, and then tried to weasle out of bringing Westly back to life by trying to twist the "mostly" dead man's words. Also, he would appear to be slow at first glance, but such is a visual deception (one might call it a trick ;) ) and he can actually move quite fast for an old guy. Plus, he wears a goofy hat, and Beheeyem's head also looks like a goofy hat.

:560: Scrafty-

Represents Vizzini. A creepy little punk who thinks he's awesome but is actually sort of pathetic. Short and annoying, and aparently has Moxie instead of Shed Skin because he thought that he was invincible but it didn't save him from the poison in his drink. Utilizes dirty tricks and plays things more defensively then offensively (Scrafty's highest stats are his defences). Just an all around Jerk who likes to play games with others. I couldn't think of a concievable better pokemon then Scrafty :D

:589: Escavalier-

Represent's Prince Humperdink. Appears to be noble and knightly, with a sort of royal aura to him, but is actually a creep who desire's to take what doesn't belong to him. Stole Westly's Buttercup just as Escavalier stole Accelgor's armor, thus reducing him to be Dread Pirate Roberts, just as Accelgor went from a noble knight-ish pokemon, to a disgraced Ninja. I love the symbolism of Westly being Accelgor and Humperdink being Escavalier. It seems to be almost too perfect. I admit that I almost went with Serperior, for the Kingly appearance but actually being a snake, but in the end I think that Escavalier was a better choice (and besides, I like Serperior way too much).

So what do y'all think? Is my themed team good? I think it works well. I'll probably be back soon to show off another of my themed teams soon.

My team is currently being retrained so Ill post what they are meant to end up as because 3 of them arn't at their full forms yet :P

http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/610.gif -----> http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/612.gif

Nickname: Vanquish

Currently is an axew as I re-bred it and ended up with a max Atk IV. Has been EV trained and is awaiting leveling. I love dragon types and I think Haxorus looks great. Will have the moves:

Dragon Claw
Outrage
Earthquake
(still thinking of the 4th move atm)

http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/149.gif

Nickname: Bahamut

My second favourite pokemon from the first gen, I actually prefer dragonair design wise :P Took ages to get an adamant one and he has relatively good IV's as well. Has the moves:

Dragon Claw
Outrage
Fly
Dragon Dance

http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/196.gif

Nickname: Esper

I got bored of using alakazam as a psychic type, and seeing as I didn't want to double up on the steel type with metagross I went with espeon. Bred from an eevee I sent over from an older game. Actually has terrible IV's for Sp.A but I can't be bothered to re-breed since its now been EV trained :P

Psychic
Psy Beam
Swift
Morning Sun

http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/607.gif ----->http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/609.gif

(nickname not decided yet)

After messing with other fire types I decided on chandelure. Would love a shiny version but I don't have the patience for that :P Currently is a litwick after I bred it for a max Sp.A IV, has been EV trained. Randomly whislt EV training litwick I caught my first ever shiny, a shiny stunfisk :P

(moves undecided)

http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/571.gif

Nickname: Twilight

I thought zororak's ability was awesome when I first came up against it, so I had to grab one for myself. Got a zorua off the GTS for a vaporeon and bred from there.

Night Daze
Nasty Plot
Dark Pulse
U-turn

http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/123f.gif ----->http://dialgafans.pytalhost.de/Front/212.gif

Nickname: Ragnarok

Currently breeding scyther to get a decent one atm so this is the last pokemon I need to do. Once I get a decent set of IV's and the adamant nature ill evolve it into scizor and EV train it from there.

(moves undecided)

Awesomeness :D Maybe I'll make a movie themed team as well.

I usually use pokemon that I like (and I'm not into competitive battling).

My main team is:
Chandelure
Samurott
Hydreigon
Braviary
Virizion
Zekrom

But I have substitute pokemon for my team,
Garvantula, Excadrill, and Lilligant.

TheEpicGoomba
7th June 2011, 7:04 PM
My Pokemon Black team is
Serperior Lv 40
Leaf Blade
Mega Drain
Coil
Strengh
I decided to use Serperior because it had a cool design and I like Snakes. It has awsome Defences and has wicked Speed. It can also learn some good Grass moves

Unfezant M Lv 40
Fly
Aerial Ace
Quick Attack
Echoed Voice
After using A female I decded to use a Male. I like it's design and it was the only Flying type I like. Braviary I like but you get to late in the game and Archeops has a terrible abillity.

Excadrill Lv 40
Slash
Metal Claw
Earthquake
Rock Slide
This guy is awsome. He has a good type and design. Has awsome moves and has great Attack.

Seismitoad Lv40
Bulldoze
Surf
Muddy Water
Uproar
Seismitoad was the wild card. I had never used one and didn't know much about it. I am glad I chose it though. It is very powerfull

Darmanitan Lv40
Fire Punch
Flare Blitz
Hammer Arm
Dig
What a Pokemon. It has fantastic Attack. Learns awsome moves really early on and has a good ability

Cinccino-Chilli Lv40
Echoed Voice
Wake-up Slap
Tail Slap
Thunder Bolt
It is a Chinchilla which is awsome. I named it Chilli after my Chinchilla in real life. I gave it weaker moves that attack multiple times because it has Technician. Thunderbolt for diversity.

My team is in my sig (I can't remember their moves or levels since I lost my game). This team took me a while to put together, but it's very powerful. Hydreigon and Haxorus were kind of useless since I didn't get them until long after beating the game.

My (Unusual) OU Team!

I prefer to keep movesets private :p

I love this team. I have perfected it, I believe, to the point where I can still keep many "bros" (Empoleon, Houndoom.... even Jynx). I just added on Breloom, which took a bit getting used to but I've fallen in love with that dinosaur.

I am looking to make this my main team, however my mono-poison and mono-dark team gives this team a run for its money :)

And holy crap, your White team. You better pray that you never have to face a decent Ice-type. Your entire team is weak to Ice, and half of them are 4x weak to Ice. I suggest switching out two of your Dragons for something better. A Fire-type and a Fighting-type, maybe?

As of now I have:
Oshawott, My little Otter that could.
He is of the adamant nature so his Razor Shell is his signature move.
He is my main starter and my little buddy.

Tepig, My little shy pig.
It's wierd but he is more of the defensive type (Defense curling)
but when his buttons are pushed, he shoves back. He just needs to blossom.

Snivy, My little loner snake
She has so much pride in her and tries to do it all by herself.
She needs to be a team player. She just Leaf Blade's away.

Emolga, My little Showoff Squirrel.
She wants everyone t have her eyes on her.
She Air Slashes away not caring a hoo-hah who she hurts.

Axew, My little baby dragon.
He huffs and puffs and may blow you away.
He has a hidden power within him he needs to control.

Braviary, the Knight.
He is unruly and filled with fury.
He is my Powerhouse and usually my last resort.

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/9/99/503.png Male, Loyal Starter
MOVES: Surf, Megahorn, Ice Beam, Razor Shell
This was my starter Pokemon, I was deterred last minute by Snivy because I read about numerous people who were disappointed. With Samurott, I really wasn't. It's a good all round Pokemon that was able to support me through Unova. In the Elite Four I used it as my front runner that defeated the first Pokemon of each E4 member's team. Move-wise, it did have Hydro Pump but I gave it Razor Shell again since I had good memories with it using that move. I really liked this guy.

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/c/c8/555.png Male, Local Powerhouse
MOVES: Fire Punch, Stone Edge, Hammer Arm, Flare Blitz
As soon as I reached Castelia, I rushed to the desert to get one of these. I hated the design of the other Fire Monkey, Simisear, and Darmanitan never disappointed. It had amazing attack, could outrun most things and was definitely one of my last resort Pokemon. The only downfall was actually that his strength sometimes made battles boringly easy :D *cough Brycen*

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/6/63/579.png Female, Super Blob
MOVES: Psychic, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, Recover
My first destination when I reached Nimbasa was to get Reuniclus. One of the reasons why I chose White in the first place, Reuniclus was a great member of my team. My Eviolite Solosis took out Elesa's Emolga easy, and since then has been brilliant. Despite its Speed, it had amazing Sp.A that made cream out of Marshall's team, as well as most other Pokemon. My special equivalent of Darmanitan

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/4/47/586S.png Male, Team Frontrunner
MOVES: Wild Charge, Jump Kick, Horn Leech, Faint Attack
Same as before, as soon as I reached Driftveil I rushed to catch Deerling. Sawsbuck became the guy at the front of my party. His moveset allowed him to take on almost any Pokemon, and it was definitely a saviour in the Elite Four. Wild Charge allowed it to take out quite a few Flying Types, whilst Horn Leech easily restored HP whilst it was down. Most Grass Types that end up on my team result in under use, but that never happened with Sawsbuck. I originally chose him for his awesome design, and I'm happy with my choice.

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/9/9a/612.png Female, To the m-axe
MOVES: Swords Dance, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Outrage
As soon as I recieved Surf, Mistralton Cave was my first destination. At first a little Exp. Share Axew, as soon as I gained confidence in Fraxure, I allowed it and its female rivalry glory to annihilate Iris at the Opelucid Gym. Since then, my Dragon Dance/Swords Dance Haxorus would let rip on most teams, with a Swords Dance Outrage being the key to OHKO'ing Cynthia's Spiritomb, Garchomp and Milotic. Awesome design, awesome attack? Awesome Haxorus

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/0/01/628.png Male, Bird is the word
MOVES: Fly, Superpower, Crush Claw, Brave Bird
I didn't get to experience use of this guy much since I got it late on and replaced my Unfezant for it. And admittedly, I didn't regret it. With a wider movepool and awesome attack, Braviary became a flying powerhouse. Unlike other birds, it could take a hit before hitting back with really hard attacks. Despite our little time, Braviary was still awesome.

I recently got a new White version to play through without losing my favorites on my Black. I decided to play through with a lot of my favorites, so I ended up with:
Emboar
Gothitelle
Jellicent
Sawsbuck
Scolipede
and Excadrill.

As I adventured, I found out that Excadrill is amazing, Frillish looks even cooler than I had thought, and Scolipede is not nearly as fun as I had hoped. Sawsbuck was great because I managed to get the summer form, which is my favorite.

I managed to get my planned team right down to the shiny Haxorus, I would not be using one if it were not shiny.

Anyway here it is.

Dexter/Serperior Lv 65-70 - Strength, Leaf Blade, Leaf Storm, Giga Drain - Yes I know I need to lose a grass move.

Ixion/Zebstrika Lv65 - Stomp, Thunder Wave, Flame Strike, Thunder Charge

M'aturin/Carracosta Lv65-70 - Crunch, Aqua Tail, Rock Slide, Surf

Poe/Chandelure Lv70 - Psychic, Heatwave, Flame Burst, Shadow Ball

Killy/Haxorus Lv65 - Slash, Shadow Claw, False Swipe, Dragon Claw

Drein/Braviary Lv65-70 - Slash, Fly, Crush Claw, Aerial Ace - Soon be getting Superpower or something put on that rather bland move set.

I also have a Scolipede and Zweilous in my reserve team but i'm not going into detail. Basically I only trained things that would be in my main team and nothing else, but having only a Snivy/Servine and Blitzle up until Castelia wasn't in my best interests I adopted a Venipede which has saved the day on more than one occasion.
The Zweilous was a Deino from a trade as I had some 4th gen shinies to trade and I chose a shiny Deino in return. Currently at Lv 50 not sure what moves it has right now.

Oh, well I beat them with level 50s and 60s.

My team is a strange team. I would like if you give some feedback.

Serperior lv. 75
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/497.png
Leaf Storm, Leaf Blade, Swords Dance, and Dragon Tail. He's my starter and the strongest grass- type ever.

Samurott(shiny) lv.52
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/503.png
Scald,Ice Beam, Megahorn, and dig. He is a great water type who can fight its weaknesses well. im still training him.

Emboar lv.100
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/500.png
Wild charge, flare blitz, Earthquake, and Grass knot. He is a beast fire type who can own anybody.

Galvantula lv.70
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/596.png
Discharge,Bug Buzz, Poison Jab, and Rest. Im the most unsure about him. Im considering to take out rest and jab. He is a fast buzzing bug.

Carracosta lv. 73
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/565.png
Shell Smash, surf, ice beam, and earthquake. I know another water type is stupid, but he is part rock.

Haxorus lv.72
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/bw/612.png
Outrage,Dragon Dance,X-scissor, and earthquake. DD increases attack and speed and da other 3 are powerhouse moves. Haxorus is a good unova dragon. Better than hydreigon

My planned team for my next playthrough is:

Stunfisk
Garbador
Seismitoad
Vanilluxe
Slowbro
Bronzong

Pokemaniac Erika
4th July 2011, 7:28 AM
Japanese Black team (which I think the balance sucks. Heck, I just picked my favorites that time. Good thing I managed to beat the main storyline):
- Serperior
- Liepard
- Unfezant
- Sawk
- Krookodile
- Carracosta

US Black team:
- Serperior
- Unfezant (replaced with Honchkrow post-game)
- Excadrill
- Carracosta
- Galvantula
- Chandelure

And currently trying a completely different team in White (just beat Elesa's gym). These guys are what I got so far, and I'm planning to use them to beat the game (main storyline at least):
- Dewott
- Herdier
- Zebstrika
- Leavanny
- Darumaka
- Archen

All right around lvl. 50; I'm literally just after beating the final boss. And I'm not going to turn on the game just to see the natures/movesets/etc., so I'll do my best from memory. (And yes I'm lazy with movesets.)

Serperior ♂ (Yatogami, after the Japanese yato-no-kami)
Overgrow
-Giga Drain
-Leaf Blade
-Wring Out (placeholder 'til I decide what to give him)
-Strength

Galvantula ♀ (Elekne, a combination of "electric" and "Arachne")
Compoundeyes
-Signal Beam
-Thunder
-Thunderbolt
-Sucker Punch

Haxorus ♂ (Scourge; sometimes I draw a complete blank on clever nicknames)
Mold Breaker
-Dragon Claw
-Dragon Pulse
-X-Scissor
-(Don't remember the last one)

Carracosta ♂ (Poseidon, after the sea god)
I don't know his ability; I'm guessing Solid Rock
-Waterfall
-Surf
-Rock Slide
-Crunch

Krookodile ♂ (Agares, after a demon who is depicted as a man riding a crocodile)
Moxie
-Crunch
-Dig
-Foul Play
-Bulldoze

And before the final battle, I was in the process of training a Rufflet (whose nickname I forget ATM) and trying to decide whether to replace my Haxorus or my Krookodile with my new Deino (Belaur, a manga reference--Belphegor, KHR--combined with and disguised in a reference to a mythological multi-headed dragon, the balaur. Similar hairstyles FTW.)

Here's the in-game team I chose, in numerical order:

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/379.gif
REGISTEEL (no cool nickname, but I'm considering Registall)

- Toxic
- Protect
- Curse
- Brick Break

The world's best toxic staller. I added this guy to my team after I beat the Elite Four. Toxic wears down on the opponent, regardless of defenses (unless they're Steel or Poison). Protect helps keep the stall going. Curse increases physical bulk while raising the power of Brick Break, which has the bonus of removing screens. This guy can take a ton of hits before going down, so I give him a Rocky Helmet to help wear down physical attackers.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/497.gif
Smugleaf

- Leaf Storm
- Leaf Blade
- Return
- Growth

If I have time to use Growth, then it powers up all my moves. Then I can go ahead Leaf Storm if I'm up against a strong opponent. If I need to keep going, then Leaf Blade isn't affected by the SpAtk drop. Return is powerful and gives plenty of neutral coverage.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/537.gif
Slippy

- Rain Dance
- Strength
- Earthquake
- Surf

Rain Dance activates Swift Swim while simultaneously powering up Surf. Earthquake is there for secondary STAB, and Strength provides neutral coverage where it is needed. He's also the bulkiest pokemon on my team and can last a while. He's the one I use when I need to dispatch an Electric type.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/567.gif
Broodonkus

- Acrobatics
- Rock Slide
- Fly
- U-Turn

I hate to have two flying-type moves on this guy, but I have to fly on something, right? Acrobatics is crazy powerful when he isn't holding anything, which he isn't. Rock Slide isn't as powerful for a secondary STAB, but it's more accurate than Stone Edge. Accuracy is everything with this guy, since one miss could activate Defeatist if I give the foe a chance to strike back. U-turn gets me out of there.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/620.gif
Mienshao (no cool nickname, so sad)

- Meditate
- Hi-Jump Kick
- Acrobatics
- U-turn

This guy is the world's best Liepard counter. Liepard comes out and uses Fake Out on him, but luckily, he has Inner Focus so he hits right back with a Hi-Jump Kick. Down and out. Acrobatics doesn't get STAB, but it's still pretty darn powerful and gets some nice coverage. U-turn gets me out of there. I hardly ever have time to use Meditate.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/637.gif
Enfuego

- Quiver Dance
- Heat Wave
- Bug Buzz
- Psychic

I did not get this one in the Relic Castle. I raised it from the Larvesta egg. He's the star of my team. Quiver Dance raises all the right stats in all the right places. Heat Wave and Bug Buzz make a great STAB combo. Psychic rounds it off by destroying Fighting types, Poison types, and Toxicroak.

Honorable mention:
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/515.gif
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/539.gif

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/601.gif
I used all these in my team at one point. I traded away my Panpour, since I had Slippy instead. I used Sawk until I got Mienfoo in a GTS negotiation trade. BlueEye was from the trade in Driftveil, and it was pretty awesome. However, I didn't need more water types. Klinklang (nicknamed Gigagear) was on my team when I beat the elite four the first time. I figured out soon after that Registeel was a better Toxic staller, though.

(For my in-game team I only used the moves they learned leveling up and HM's)

EMBOAR (Adamant/Blaze) :500:
-Flare Blitz
-Hammer Arm
-Defense Curl
-Roll Out

ELEKTROSS (Adamant/Levitate) :604:
-Coil
-Thunderwave
-Crunch
-Wild Charge

SEISMITOAD (Neutral/Poison Touch) :537:
-Drain Punch
-Mud Shot
-Surf
-Hyper Voice

FERROTHORN (Sassy/Iron Barbs) :598:
-Curse
-Gyro Ball
-Power Whip
-Payback

KROOKODILE (Jolly/Moxie) :553:
-Outrage
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Sandstorm

MEINSHAO (Jolly/Regenerator) :620:
-U-Turn
-Hi Jump Kick
-Bounce
-Strength

*The whole team was well balanced and could take on any foe.

A "Derpy" team?

Yes, in fact. I thought it'd be fun.

CaptainCombusken
4th July 2011, 7:16 PM
POKEMON WHITE TEAM
PRE E4
Otto (Samurott) [M]
-X-scissor
-Dragon Tail
-Surf
-Aqua Tail

Oshawott was my favourite of all three starters and it was very wise of me to use it, because I regard all the other water types this gen as unusable ingame. Surfer, Dragon Killer, has X-scissor. A good Pokemon all around.

Moe (Scrafty) [M]
-Hi Jump Kick
-Crunch
-Bulk Up
-Dragon Claw

Another Dragon Killer. I love Scrafty's design. He's probably my favourite fighting type after Blaziken, which is a pretty high honour considering fighting types are my favourite type. This essentially puts him as my third favourite Pokemon EVER, after Blaizken and then Dewott. Plus, he's got some excellent moves at his disposal.

Aria (Galvantula) [F]
-Thunder Wave
-Thunderbolt
-Signal Beam
-Gastro Acid

I fell in love with this Pokemon quite rapidly after seeing it in the pre-release. It basically saved me from defeat against Cheren's Simipour with its Scald, who was sweeping me. Plus, it turned out to be a great Legend capturer with Thunder Wave, as well as a strong special attacker.

Chrio (Swoobat) [M]
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-Air Slash
-Fly

The only flying type this gen I wanted to use. I loved Woobat's design, and I really like Swoobat's too. It's a strong Pokemon offensively and was very good throughout game, especially due to its early evolution, which I think was in Pinwheel forest after defeating Lenora. However, it started to become weaker towards the end of the game, mostly due to its limited stats.

Dolly (Darmanitan) [F]
-Fire Punch
-Brick break
-Rock Slide
-Double Edge

Sheer Force? Fire type? I was sold. I'm not a massive fan of Darmanitan's design, but I really like Darumaka's, and I really love the line's offensive power.

Koas (Carracosta) [M]
-Aqua Tail
-Rock Slide
-Dig
-Shell Smash

I don't usually use fossils, and much less when it's the same type as one of my Pokemon, but I really like Carracosta. It's my preferred of the two fossils and proved to be a real powerhouse and an excellent Dolly/Otto backup.

Honourable mentions:
Babb (Simisear) [M]
-Bite
-Grass Knot
-Flame Burst
-Acrobatics

I had to pick this guy for the Striaton gym to be even remotely feasible. And until I got to Castelia and was able to catch Dolly, he was my Fire type. I then side trained him (or at least tried to) to try and be able to keep a rotating team going, but it just didn't work and I had to give up after Chargestone cave. Want to use him again fully. Don't know if I can really. You have to wait quite a while for him to be strong enough, with only the frankly useless Incinerate as his only Fire attacking move until level 22. I evolved him as soon as I got Acrobatics for him, because by that time, just before Chargestone cave, he was too weak as a Pansear.

Arthur (Excadrill) [M]
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-X-sciossor
-Hone Claws

I completely adore this guy's concept, design, name, etc... But once I started using Tirtouga, I just forgot about him. I don't know why. I sorta side trained him along with Babb, but after Chargestone cave, I lost the desire to do this. I tried then using him in Black, but after walking around Wellspring cave for ages and not getting one, just gems, even when I used Repels, tried my patience too much. However, in Pokemon Gray, I am determined to use him.

POST E4
I did a Scramble challenge for my Elite Four rematch team, which can be seen if you're interested at all.

White team (Elite Four Rematch)
Crustle (Fissure)- ~
Samurott (Otto)- The Pokemon I asked to be one I already have at a high level.
Whimsicott (Fluffee)- Must abuse Prankster.
Braviary (Rufus)- ~
Bisharp (Razor)- Can't evolve until it has defeated 10 Durants using Steel Moves only.
Heat Form Rotom (Eeks)- ~

HONOURABLE MENTION
Before I realized about Eeks, as I needed a good fire type, I trialled Vulpix (Which quickly became a Ninetails.) It was good, but Rotom is better.

Anyway, I successfully completed that challenge. After this, I got a slightly different team to romp around Unova. I used this team to Defeat Morimoto and Cynthia the first time round.

POST POST E4
Otto (Samurott) [M]
-X-scissor
-Ice beam
-Surf
-Aqua Tail/Waterfall

Otto with an edited moveset, cos Ice Beam is better.

Moe (Scrafty) [M]
-Hi Jump Kick
-Crunch
-Bulk Up
-Dragon Claw

Exactly the same Pokemon.

Dolly (Darmanitan) [F]
-Fire Punch
-Brick break
-Rock slide
-Earthquake

Getting Earthquake completed my ideal Daranitan set.

Fluffee (Whimsicott) [F]
-Hurricane
-Psychic
-Giga Drain
-Stun Spore

I got this in my Scramble challenge and was immediately impressed. My GOD it's a good Pokemon! It's mega useful both ingame and competitively. I adore the name, best name in the whole Pokemon series. Whimsicott. And its design is pretty neat too. I liked it so much I decided to put it on my Post Post E4 team.

Lampy (Ampharos) [M]
-Thunderbolt
-Signal Beam
-Focus Blast
-Toxic

I used Lampy in my HeartGold team. He was Pokeshifted over to White and I found a little niche for him in my team. Strong Moves, strong Pokemon. Awesome Pokemon.

Blimp (Driftblim) [F]
-Thunderbolt
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-Fly

I caught it and then decided to use it. I didn't want to use Swoobat again, I wanted something different. So I chose Blimp. It's my flyer. It was the first Pokemon I ever EV trained properly intentionally. I trained its attack, so it could use Fly comfortably.

Next time, I'll be posting up my whole Black team Lineup! Yay!

THIS IS NOT MY BATLLE TEAM AND I WILL OWN ANY NOOBS

Prankstar 73
7th July 2011, 5:17 AM
ok, my team:

Porygon - Z ;474;
Life orb

-Hyper Beam
-Nasty Plot
-Discharge
-Shadow ball

Dang....This guy is kinda fragile.....but Hyper beam downright SWEEPS.
I can kill a Ferrothorn of equal level with that thing.
it usually dies right after, but dang..........

Volcarona/Pyro :637:
Wise Glasses

-Heat Wave
-Fiery dance
-Quiver Dance
-Psychic

another awesome sweeper, and downright AMAZING in triples.
Heat Wave destroys alot...........usually not a OHKO, but normally a 2HKO to almost everything. Fiery Dance is more for singles, or if there's a Flash Fire user on the other team. Plus, 50% Sp.Atk increase? Yes please!
I realize it has no bug attack. They rarely come in handy.
Besides, Psychic takes out one of the dealiest things that can hurt him.
Fighting types, or more specific, powerful attacking Fighting types.
It also hits Rock types hard, as they lack in Sp. Def (most)
Quiver dance.....Do I need to say anything?

Ferrothorn/Nemesis :598:
Rocky Helmet

-Curse
-Power Whip
-Explosion
-Gyro Ball

I know, I know......"No Stealth rock? you n00b." Yeah, yeah. The point of this is to wall opponents, and destroy psysical attackers, so long as it isn't a Fire or Fighting type move. Psysical and Special wall. Sassy nature is great, as it upgrades it's slightly lower Sp. Def, and it increases Gyro Ball Power.
Really great.

Gliscor ;472;
Toxic orb

-Swords dance
-Stone edge
-Ice fang
-Earthquake

nice defensive wall, and Toxic orb is auto poison, and heals much more than leftovers ever could.
Swords dance makes Gliscor's attack decent.
Stone edge and earthquake, as usual, is great type coverage.
Ice fang hits whatever resists Stonequake (Grass types) and ruins:
Salamence
Dragonite (more are now on the competitive field)
other Gliscor
Flygon (more are now appearing on the competitive field)
and Garchomp
those are the common ones.
Really good wall, it just has to watch for ice attacks.
of course, that's what Ferrothorn is for.
Walling the stuff Gliscor can't.
and Gliscor walls what Ferrothorn can't.
Good synergy, in my opinion.

Zoroark :571:
Choice scarf

-Night daze
-U-Turn
-Flamethrower
-Pursuit

I decided to make a mixed Zoroark.
Choice scarf makes it go so quickly, it's insane.
I've yet to see a pokemon on the competitive field who can outrun it (in OU)
Night Daze is your primary Stab.
U-turn is to get the heck out of there if you end up switching into a bad spot.
Flamethrower is a nice suprise, and throws off bug types who switch in, discoevering it's Zoroark.
and Pursuit kills Phazers.

and, my personal favorite:

Whimsicott/Prankstar :547:
leftovers

-Substitute
-Leech seed
-Taunt
-Encore

My anti lead, and my favorite pokemon. (see, this is why Ferrothorn doesn't have Stealth rock!)
TauntCore kills leads and forces a switch, which gives Whimsicott a golden opportunity to set up subseed, which stalls everything to death.
Leftovers helps healing, thats obvious

yep, that's my team.
