I put this team together about a year ago and never got to use it besides in game. Now some friends wanna have a little tournament amongst our 4th gen games so I'm curious as to how my team is as a whole. It's been a while since I bred them so my EV's may be off a bit.

Hippowdown @ Leftovers (physical wall)
Sand Stream
Impish
252 HP / 152 Def / 104 SpD
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Slack Off
- Stealth Rock

Pretty basic lead. Set up stealth rock and sand storm to chip away at the other teams health. Hard to OHKO, its more for setting up than defeating anybody. Ice fang to keep dragons at bay.

Vaporeon @ Leftovers (semi bulky water/hazer)
Water Absorb
Bold
248 HP / 224 Def / 36 SpD
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Protect
- Yawn

Basic Surf for stab and ice beam for grass coverage. Yawn to force the other team to switch out. I believe I need something to replace protect though.

Gengar @ Life Orb (special sweeper)
Levitate
Timid
4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Hypnosis
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt

Standard physical sweeper. Focus blast and shadow ball for type coverage. Not sold on hypnosis though. It's low accuracy, combined with sand storm and life orb wont let me miss many times before im dead.

Infernape @ Life Orb (mixed sweeper)
Blaze
Hasty
64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power (i think its ice, gotta double check somehow)

I think this does a pretty good type coverage, pending me checking the HP. Mixed SpA and Atk let me hit walls of either type.

Blissey @ Leftovers (special wall)
Natural Cure
Bold
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
- Thunder Wave
- Ice Beam
- Softboiled
- Seismic Toss

Pretty self explanatory. Ice beam for anything that will be hit harder than seismic toss. (can you tell im paranoid of dragons as well?) thunder wave for added status affect fun.

Garchomp @ Choice Band (physical sweeper)
Sand Veil
Jolly
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Stone Edge
- Fire Fang
- Outrage
- Earthquake

I absolutely love this thing. 359 attack @ lvl 100 + choice band + STAB outrage.

I'm not really in love with Infernape and how frail it is. So i was thinking of swapping this in. This partnered up with the above Garchomp got to 100+ wins in the Battle Tower on my Diamond cart.

Tyranitar @ Focus Sash (physical sweeper)
Sand Stream
Adamant
180 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Spe
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge

So no suggestions?

You don't really have a good defense against water if gengar goes. Infernape's grass knot is no real defense and vaporeon is unreliable.

i think a focus sash is not really helpful at all on a tyranitar due to how naturally bulky it is. maybe a lum berry, or leftovers would be better

Gengar could use substitute instead of thunderbolt so if you put them to sleep you get a free sub if they switch. Shadow ball and Focus blast get perfect coverage so..
