The Renegade Saga

Chapter 1
The adventure and legend begins

Deep in the foggy mists of the sky pillar a small prison like headquarters lies, surrounded by a moat and trenches. It was night and it was raining hard, but it was all calm. Then all of a sudden a loud siren coming from the base rings. Soon grunts dressed in black coats with captain like hats rise from the walls and turned on the lights searching for someone. In the base, a boy who had messy black hair, who was about 15 and had the same uniform as the people on top of the walls was panting heavily as he leaned on a dark balcony on top of the walls. Then all of a sudden the lights had shown brightly on him. Soon grunts surrounded him they all were holding Houndooms at him. Houndoom is a devil dog pokemon the evolved form of Houndoor. It was colored black it had two horns and skeletal bones in its back. They growled trying to take a bite out of the boy with their razor sharp teeth. The boy looked at the pokemon with disgust as the Houndooms barked at him while their saliva slowly drooled out of their vicious mouths.

“Give it up Shade you can’t escape this time,” says a girl about the boy’s age, she wore the same uniform and had Tyranitar next to her.

Tyranitar was a huge green dinosaur pokemon.

“Sorry Grace but my time in staying in this living heck ends!” Shade says with a smirk.

“I like you Shade but you’ve got to be taught a lesson,” Grace said,” But I could give you another chance if you take my hand.”

She slowly let out her hand to the boy. Shade looked curiously at her. She smirked

“What do you say?” she asked.

Shade looked nervously at her hand then instantly turned around to jump.

“Stop him!” Grace ordered.

Tyranitar instantly opened its mouth wide and shot a giant sphere of energy from its mouth. Shade then jumped off and the attack struck the balcony concluding to a huge explosion.
Shade was luck to have gotten off the building but now he’s plummeting off an island to the sea. Everybody on the building looked down at the raging ocean. They couldn’t see Shade anywhere just some ripples in the ocean.

“Ma’am should we conduct a search party?” a grunt said.

“No,” Grace said,” Let’s just give him a running start.”

They all take their eyes off their betraying comrade and returned inside. Back at the raging sea Shade manages to grab onto a piece of board as he floated deep into the abyss. The next day he woke up in a nice sunny beach. He got up and noticed his arm was flowing with blood. He tore off a part of his coat and wrapped it around his wounded arm. He noticed he was still in his uniform so he tossed one of his pokeballs. Then a Blaziken came out. Blaziken was a mix off fire and fighting. Shade tossed a berry to Blaziken. Blaziken quickly snatched with its mouth. Shade took another berry and ate it.

“Alright Blaziken lets go,” Shade said.

But then he noticed Blaziken taking something out of the sand. Blaziken returned with a shiny gold medal with Swellow wings and a picture of him and Grace. He took the medal and glared at it. He threw it away in the sand. Blaziken was confused and asked why did he throw it away.

“I don’t want to relive those horrible memories you and I’ve experienced back there,” Zeke replied.

Blaziken nodded. Then he took the small picture of him and Grace. He smiled at it and kept it in his pocket.

“We should first check out where we are,” Shade said.

He took out a pokenav and clicked on a few buttons. The mini computer then showed a map of the region of Kanto.

“We’re in Kanto!?” Shade said with astonishment.

Blaziken too was surprised. They were both shocked to find out that they’re in one of the far regions from Hoenn. Shade looks in the pokenav to check exactly where they are. The pokenav puts a blinking yellow light on Vermillion city, the main port of Kanto.

“Blaz, Blaz, Blaz Blaziken”

“We can’t just go on a ship!” Shade said,” You know how much a ticket costs?”

Blaziken then sighed and went back to its pokeball in a red flash. Shade decided to look around the port city for a while. Back in the sky pillar a huge computer screen showed a map of Kanto. It had a blinking blue spot pointing on Vermillion.

“Ma’am Shade’s been located,” a grunt said.

Grace was meditating in a dark room and the only light that shown was where Grace was meditating. Grace slowly opened her eyes.

“Capture him,” Grace said coldly.

The soldier nodded. Soon an alarm went off.

“ATTENTION ALL PERSONEL REPORT TO FLIGHT PORT”

Soon twenty grunts reported armed with their own pokemon. Soon a small door opened. Then twenty of black plated Skamories came out. Skamory was a metal bird normally plated with silver. It had red feathers. Soon each of the grunts rode on the Skamories. Another door opened revealing an exit to the sea. All the Skamories flew off in the shining horizon. But soon the sky was eclipsed by the Skamories. It was like a cloud of darkness devouring the sky. Back at the pillar Grace was watching in the screen her army slowly entering the region of Kanto.

“Ma’am I don’t understand,” the soldier said,” why do you want to recapture him, if he was already banned from the Black Rayquaza brigade?”

“Because my socially challenged minion he has something that I want.” Grace said.

Ironically, back at Vermillion Shade has entered a fiesta. There was plenty of food, streamers, people and trainers and of course pokemon. Shade decided to look around. He noticed a giant gold plated statue of a man with a moustache.

“Uh excuse me?” Shade asked a girl,” what’s the celebration for?”

“Oh you’re not from here,” the girl said, my name’s Reyna we’re celebrating Vermillion’s twenty-fifth anniversary since the man who discovered Vermillion! The man’s name is Chris there’s a statue of him there.”

The girl pointed to the same golden plated statue he saw earlier. Then later there was a huge crowd he got pushed and he fell into a battle arena. He looked around and saw plenty of people cheering.

“WELL HERES A NEW CONTENDER TO BATTLE VERMILLION’S CHAMPION, REX!” a narrator shouted.

Shade then turned around and saw a boy with messy brown hair, A purple jacket, normal brown jeans and a black shirt.

“So you’re the next chump I’m gonna beat the hell out of today eh?” Rex said,” well get yourself ready ‘cause here’s a trainer who had fifty wins and… zero losses.”

Shade was impressed but he wasn’t scared. H was about to say that he just got pushed into the battle, but then Blaziken’s ball statrted to shake. Shade looked at the transparent pokeball. Blaziken looked like it wanted to fight so he just accepted the match.

“Let get started!” Rex said,” Typlosion I choose you!”

Soon a pokemon with flames in its neck appeared. Typlosion was all pumped up. The flames around its neck burned even more.

“Hmm, Typlosion the volcano pokemon,” Shade said,” never fought one of those before.”

“Will you stop yer yapping and start fighting!” Rex said impatiently.

Shade then tossed Blaziken’s pokeball up to the sky. Blaziken popped out roaring. The flames on its hand burned up.

“WHOA, A BLAZIKEN YOU DON’T SEE THAT EVERYDAY IN KANTO.” The narrator said.

“I don’t care if I don’t know about it I’ll just kick its butt old school!” Rex said,” Typlosion flame wheel!”

Typlosion then curled up then rolled towards Blaziken while it was rolling it turned to a big ball of fire. Blaziken then leaped out of the way with its powerful legs. Typlosion then uncurled and stamped its foot heavily on the ground. Blaziken then quickly lost balance on the ground. Before it could notice Typlosion struck Blaziken with the flame wheel. Typlosion laughed at Blaziken for its poor accuracy. Blaziken weakly got on its legs.

“Man this kid’s a joke,” Rex mocked,” Typlosion finish it with another flame wheel!”

Typlosion roared and started rolling quickly towards Blaziken. Blaziken watched Typlosion quickly attack it.

“Blaziken now!” Shade called out.

Blaziken’s eyes widened. It quickly caught Typlosion’s head. The audience was astonished with Blaziken strength.

“What the?” Rex said confused.

Blaziken then kept a tight grip on Typlosion’s head and started to spin round and around. Typlosion was getting dizzy. Then after five spins Blaziken tossed Typlosion in the air. Typlosion was flying above all dizzy. As Typlosion was about to reach Blaziken’s head. Blaziken’s leg burnt hard and quickly did a spinning kick. Typlosion relieved the powerful attack and was thrown over to the other side.

“Typlosion’s unable to battle Blaziken wins!” the referee said.

The crowd cheered.

“WOW THIS IS THE FIRST LOSS REX HAS EVER HAD! WELL THERE’S A FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING,” the narrator said.

“I can’t believe it!” Rex said,” I never lose!”

“First time for everything,” Shade reminded.

Shade then threw a red, juicy and plump berry at Blaziken. Again Blaziken caught it with its mouth. Then Blaziken instantly regained strength. Suddenly The sky turned black. Everybody looked up. The soldiers on the Skamories have arrived.

“Oh no,” Shade said fearfully.

Soon the grunts jumped of the Skamories and safely landed on the ground. They all released one pokemon from their belt. Soon Vermillion was under attack by pokemon. Everybody was screaming like hell. Then soon it started to rain heavily. Thunder and lightning struck from the sky.

“Search the area!” a sub-leader said,” find Shade.”

Shade instantly recalled Blaziken and went to hide in the pokemon center. Suddenly he heard Reyna scream. He looked around and saw her cornered by an Aggron, Nidoking and Tyranitar and three of the grunts. The pokemon were about to take her.

“Leave her alone!” Shade shouted,” You want a piece of me then come and get me!”

The three pokemon grinned and started to charge. Shade then grabbed Blaziken’s pokeball and waved his finger.

“You forgot one thing though,” Shade said to the soldiers and the pokemon,” I’m the best.”

In another part of the city there was plenty of mayhem.

“Sir no sign of him,” a grunt said.

“Well then… what the?” the sub-leader said.

He noticed a huge explosion in another part of the city. In that part of the city Blaziken had a grip on Nidoking’s neck and threw Nidoking down. Nidoking heavily panted and slowly fainted. Aggron’s armor plate was badly crushed. Aggron was lying on a wall. Tyranitar was thrown into a wall. As for the trainers they lay on the ground motionless.

“You okay?” Shade asked Reyna

“I guess so,” Reyna said shivering.

“Halt!” the sub-leader said,” we’ve got you surrounded.”

Shade turned around and saw fifteen pf the soldiers behind him. Shade smirked. He grabbed Reyna and tightly held on Blaziken. Blaziken quickly leaped onto a building putting Reyna and Shade on top of the building for safety.

“Nowhere to run boy,” a female grunt said.

Blaziken, Shade and Reyna turned around and saw two other grunts wit two Scyther. Scyther was a mantis pokemon with two swords and razor sharp wings. Blaziken now faced his opponents. The Scyther and Blaziken were glaring at each other. Suddenly they the three of them leaped of the building to strike each other. Blaziken’s hands and legs started to blaze a powerful flame not even the rain could extinguish. The Scyther prepared their swords. Back down the other grunts watched the battle above from below. But they were shocked to see what was happening. The two Scythers were falling and were covered in flames. Thy both crashed down on the muddy and dirty ground. The rain slowly extinguished the burns they received from Blaziken’s flames of fury. They wondered what happened to the other two grunts from above. But then the two grunts hats slowly fell down covered with flame and ash. Blaziken leaped of the building to face all the other grunts.

“Give it up!” Shade said,” I don’t want to hurt you anymore so just retreat.”

“Never!” the sub-leader screamed.

“Well then I’m sorry,” Shade said.

Blaziken started to attack. It roared along with the thunder. All the grunts and pokemon attacked except for the sub-leader. He was horrified to see such great power Shade’s Blaziken was unleashing. All the pokemon were being trashed along wit their trainers. Until finally they all lost and the one left was a grunt and the sub-leader. Blaziken then reached out to grab the sub-leader with its deadly hands. But the sub-leader pushed the grunt and the grunt was attacked by Blaziken instead. As the grunt was being taken away the sub-leader was running away. He could hear the scream of agony from his fellow grunt. He reached out a phone from his pocket and called for the Skamories to come and collect them. The Skamories then flew on their way to pick them up. Soon the sub-leader was panting thinking he was safe. But soon an explosion occurred that came from Blaziken. The sub-leader had his leg bruised so he tried to crawl away quickly. While he was squirming away a paw stepped in his way. He look up and saw an Absol. Absol’s a darkness pokemon with beautiful white fur and a horn in the side of its head. The sub-leader was crawling with fear. Absol grinned and raised the horn in its head. You could hear the sub-leader scream like hell as Absol swiped the man with its horn. Far out in the city Shade, Blaziken and Reyna could hear the faint cry. Shade then recalled Blaziken.

“Not much damage has been done to your city,” Shade said,” but I’m sorry about your fiesta.”

“Don’t worry,” Reyna said,” it’s not much of a biggie, so are you gonna collect badges?”

Shade nodded.

“I’ll start out here.” Shade said,” but first I think we should get some rest.”

Reyna nodded. So they went off to the pokemon center.

In the middle of the night the flock of Skamories came and carried them to the sky pillar. Grace wasn’t at all surprised that they lost.

“No matter, if we want to defeat him we must send someone with his standards of pokemon battling,” Grace grinned.

She then took out a golden locket with a picture of her and Shade. Then she turned her eyes to the computer. She clicked on a button which opened the speaker.

“Send out Kahn to retrieve him,” Grace said.

Then she silently enters her meditating room and slams the door shut.

Well hope you liked it.

Chapter 2
The day of the DJ

It was bright and shining at the port city Vermillion. Shade had just woken up from the pokemon center. He exited the pokemon center stretching as the sunlight touched his face with its warm rays.

“Mmm… what a good way to start my new life,” Shade said.

Then he was followed by Reyna, the girl he met and saved from the clutches of his former comrades.

“Hey so you need me to tell you were the gym is?” Reyna asked.

“Uh yeah now if you could direct me,” Shade said.

“Sure!” Reyna said,” It’s the least I could do since you saved me from those hordes of maniacs back there.”

“Uh yeah…” Shade said.

“Come on let’s go!” Reyna said.

She grabbed Shade’s hand pulling him straight to the gym. As the progressed to the gym the rough streets of Vermillion were crowded with shops, souvenir shops, people and tourists.

“Heh haven’t seen these kinds of streets since I was five,” Shade silently said to himself.

“What you say?” Reyna asked.

“Uh nothing,” Shade said,” I better not tell her that I was one of those thugs who attacked her.”

Back in the depths of the sky pillar, Grace is silently watching Shade in the streets through a wide screen computer.

“Heh, so my young ally trying to forget about your past eh?” Grace said,” well you might at least stop trying because you will never forget those deceased memories and I will bring you back to my side and nobody will stop me. Not even that berserk bonded Blaziken of yours!”

“Ma’am Kahn has arrived,” a sub-leader announced.

Soon a rapper with red spiky hair, black shorts, rubber shoes, a black T-shirt with a blue dragon on it, silver sunglasses and a chain on his shorts appeared.

“Heh I doubt this mere rapper will be even a challenge for Shade,” the sub-leader mocked.

Suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his spine. He slowly dropped to his knees and lied down fainted. He was struck by Kahn with his chain strapped to his arm.

“Don’t ever underestimate a rapper,” Kahn said.

“Guards take my sub-leader to medical care,” Grace said as she snapped her hands.

Two guards slowly picked up the sub-leader on the mat and quickly went away.

“Now you know your mission,” Grace said.

“Don’t worry big G I won’t fail,” Kahn said smoothly.

“Good because you know what the penalty for failure is,” Grace said.

Kahn nodded and slowly departed into the shadows. For Grace she kept a close eye on Shade who‘s nearing the Vermillion gym.

Back at Vermillion Shade is pounding on the gold plated doors of the gym, trying to get in.

“Darn! The doors must be jammed,” Shade said,” it looks like I’ll have to melt my way in.”

“Uhh Shade,” Reyna said nudging him.

“What?” Shade asked.

“It’s closed,” Reyna said pointing at a nearby sign.

Shad turned around and saw a sign which said “NOTICE GYM OPENS AT ONE P.M” He looked at his watch and noticed it was only eight A.M.

“Darn! What am I supposed to do for three hours?” Shade asked.

“Well I wondering if you could help me train my pokemon a bit?” Reyna asked.

“What?” Shade asked.

“Well I’m sort of a beginner,” Reyna said blushing.

Shade wasn’t at all surprised but he just pretended to be surprised.

“Well fine who’s your beginner?” Shade asked.

“Well it might be a little embarrassing but I’ve got a…” Reyna said.

“You’ve got a what?!” Shade said with a horrified look.

“A Feebas! That’s right she’s my first pokemon” Reyna said happily,” isn’t she cute? I call her Nina.”

Reyna took out Feedbags from its pokeball and started hugging it. Shade slapped his face.

“I’m not trying to stop you from keeping that pokemon but,” Shade said,” do you have any idea how long it takes to train one?”

“Yes but it’ll be worth it!” Reyna said,” besides I hear it will turn to a beautiful Milotic, by the way what level does it evolve?”

Shade shook his head in disbelief.

“You don’t level it up to evolve it,” Shade said,” You have to make it super beautiful which is almost impossible!”

“Yeah but still,” Reyna said happily.

“Fine I’ll help you,” Shade said with a sigh,” I’ll help you train it and I’ll answer any pokemon question.”

“Well okay,” Reyna said,” where do you exactly come from?”

“No personal questions,” Shade answered,” you know why w don’t find a better place to talk?”

“Okay!” Reyna said.

Reyna took him to an outskirt of Vermillion. It was a clearing with blue skies, clear water, green grass, plenty kinds of friendly pokemon and a herd of Tauros grazing. Tauros looked like a big bull with four tails. Yup everything was calm and quiet except for the Zangoose and the Sneviper trying to rip each other a part. Zangoose was a mongoose pokemon with a mark on its eye that looked like a scar. It was red and white and had ferocious claws. Sneviper was a black serpent with parts of purple and yellow on it. Strangely Shade thought this was a perfect place to talk.

“Okay here’s my next question,” Reyna said,” Your Blaziken was really powerful, it was fighting with out of control as if it were wild, how did you train it like this?”

“Well I didn’t really train it,” Shade said,” Blaziken just used the beserk bond.”

“What kind of attack’s berserk bond?” Reyna asked.

“Technically it’s not an attack it’s a talent,” Shade said,” This talent is acquired between a trainer and a pokemon at birth.”

“So you and Blaziken were born on the same time?” Reyna asked.

“Correct,” Shade said,” after birth the trainer and pokemon receive the talent berserk bond. Once this talent has been given the pokemon and the trainers skills and emotions are combined to make each other powerful.”

“What do you mean that the trainer’s skills and emotions combined will make them more powerful?” Reyna asked.

“Well if the trainer’s skills and emotions are combined they will understand each other more and will have a really close relationship which make their power of the heart stronger,” Shade explained,” and also they can both understand each others feelings.”

“Wow,” Reyna said with amazement,” but how’ll you be able to meet with the pokemon if you were just born?”

“Well normally when a pokemon goes on its own it will search for its rightful owner and once they meet they will instantly know each other,” Shade said.

“Wow!” Reyna exclaimed. Sneviper and Zangoose were right next to Reyna listening as well.

“Hey! Don’t you two have something to do?” Shade asked.

Zangoose and Sneviper looked confused but when they faced each other they started wrestling again until they suddenly roll of the plain. Shade sighed.

“You got any other question?” Shade asked.

“Oh yeah what happens if…”

Suddenly an explosion occurred. Shade quickly grasped Reyna in his arms and jumped away.

“HEY YA ALL DJ KAHN’S IN THE HOUSE!” the rapper announced.

Kahn appeared with one of those DJ spinning things.

“That was such a touching story,” Kahn said,” that’s the reason why big G wants me to get ya your special berserk bond talent!”

Shade gently put Reyna on the ground.

“Try and get me,” Shade smirked.

Kahn grinned and released Hitmonlee and Ludicolo. He then took out two records from his back and started spinning them rapidly. The two records made such immense music. Hitmonlee then got on his head and started to spin. Ludicolo then started jumping and clapping its hands doing the Mexican hat dance. Shade released Blaziken. Blaziken then leaped into the air to smack Ludicolo with its fierce claws. But Hitmonlee got in the way and knocked away Blaziken with its powerful legs. Blaziken quickly landed on his feet. But then Ludicolo came to Blaziken jumping and clapping. Blaziken was confused. After jumping and clapping around Blaziken, Ludicolo smacked Blaziken’s head with its small hands. Blaziken then started to go all dizzy.

“Let’s bring on the heat!” Kahn cried.

He started to spin the records harder and the music started to make a booming voice across the land. All the pokemon were annoyed by the music that they tried to cover their ears with grass. But as the music got louder Hitmonlee and Ludicolo started dancing even more!

“My pokemon were trained by the music!” Kahn shouted out,” The music pattern tells them what attack to do and also as the beat goes high my pokemon’s powers increase up to the sky!”

“So that’s your strategy eh?” Shade pondered,” Blaziken mimic their strategy.”

Blaziken nodded. He then started to tap his foot a few times. Then as the music progresses he dances along with the beat. He then got on the ground and started to spin on his hands. As he spins his legs blaze up to a scorching spinning blaze kick. It then got close to Hitmonlee and Ludicolo then kicked and burnt there sorry bottoms.

“Want to copy the master eh?” Kahn asked,” you’re in for a treat 'cause we're bringing up the heat!”

Kahn then put the volume higher making an incredibly powerful sound. He also started to spin the records even faster. Ludicolo then jumped up high into the air and preformed a body slam in the form of a swan dive. Blaziken got smacked by Ludicolo onto the ground with a huge bam. Ludicolo got off Blaziken. Hitmonlee then clapped its hands using the helping hand attack. Ludicolo then fired a razor leaf above it. The leaves gently went down like a feather. As they went down Ludicolo took a bow as if it was performing to an audience.

“Looks like I win this little dance contest,” Kahn said proudly.

“Not quite,” Shade smirked.

Kahn lowered his shades to see Blaziken. Blaziken instantly got up on its feet like a ballet. It then tip-toed over to Ludicolo and gently raised it up on its head. Ludicolo just played along with out suspecting anything. Suddenly Blaziken rose up to the sky gently with its legs. Ludicolo was enjoying itself. But then Blaziken made a sinister grin. It blaze up its hands and made a tight grip on Ludicolo. Ludicolo then realized it was a trap! Blaziken still on the air summoned most of its strength, burn Ludicolo with powerful crimson flame and threw Ludicolo to the ground. Hitmonlee gasped in shock as Ludicolo came hurdling towards it. Ludicolo looked like a falling star descending from the skies. Ludicolo lands on Hitmonlee with stars in its eyes. Blaziken slowly and gently lands on the ground and takes a bow.
Kahn starts grinding his teeth together as he raises the music volume and starts spinning the records faster. Ludicolo and Hitmonlee instantly as they hear the booming music, Hitmonlee and Ludicolo start to Tango. Blaziken then starts doing a waltz. Reyna watches the pokemon dance and fight at the same time. She finds it both amusing and funny. Soon pokemon near the area come and watch the performance. Reyna then wonders what Shade has in his mind. Now Kahn’s getting really frustrated, every time his pokemon gets a blow he raises the volume and spins the records faster. The DJ machine starts to heat up as the pressure on the machine continues. A bit of smoke slowly rises from the machine but Shad doesn’t notice. Finally he puts the volume on Max and calls all his strength to spin the records. The pokemon continue to dance. Then Blaziken goes on one foot hopping around. He then tips over a rock and falls down full of sweat.

“I win! The master reigns forever!” Kahn laughed.

But then his DJ machine soon catches on fire and explodes. Ludicolo and Hitmonlee stop dancing when the music stopped. They pant for air as they brush of the swat on their heads. Kahn weakly got up from the scraps of his DJ machine.

“Eh doesn’t matter,” Kahn said confidently,” Ludicolo, Hitmonlee finish ‘em off!”

But Ludicolo and Hitmonlee ignore the rappers order and just stand their.

“What the?” Kahn said confused,” I said finish them what’s wrong with you?”

But they continue to stand. Reyna doesn’t understand what happened. The pokemon saw that the dancing stopped so they just went away.

“I’ve noticed that your pokemon attack when music starts playing,” Shade said.

“Yeah so what?” Kahn asked.

“So you said that the music patterns tell them what to do,” Shade said,” so that means they’ve been ordered by the music so many times that they think their master is the DJ machine not you.”

Kahn was shocked to hear that he wasn’t the one in actual control of them.

“Not to worry I brought some songs I sang in a radio!” Kahn said.

He put the radio on play and it released some awfully bad music. Reyna, Shade and Blaziken covered their ears to stop the horrible music from coming to their ear drums.

“I don’t’ care if the music sounds horrible!” Kahn screamed,” the music will still order Ludicolo and Hitmonlee to attack!”

Ludicolo and Hitmonlee got up and started to dance. But instead of attacking Blaziken they turned around and attacked Kahn.

“What’s going on here?” Kahn said trembling.

“You’re a fool, good music allows your pokemon to attack us,” Shade shouted,” but if you let them hear bad music well that’s something else.”

Ludicolo and Hitmonlee leap up into the air and strike Kahn. They rip his shirt, break his glasses and punch off some of his teeth. He quickly recalled them back to their transparent pokeballs.

“It doesn’t matter I’ve still got this!” Kahn grinned.

He took out his chain, tied it up to his hand and went charging towards Shade.

“Look out!” Reyna cried.

But Shade ignored her and just stood there. Kahn got closer and he was about to strike his Shade’s nose but he instantly disappeared.

“What happened?” Reyna asked.

“It doesn’t matter now,” Shade said gruffly.

Blaziken weakly stood up and spat out some saliva. Shade recalled Blaziken and walked up to Vermillion. Reyna just stood their watching him.

“He maybe a friend and a hero,” Reyna thought,” but he’s still like a stranger, Heh maybe I’ll get to know him a bit better along the way.”

She smiled and tried to catch up to him. Back at the Sky pillar Kahn is facing Grace in her meditating room.

“But big G I was out maneuvered by Shade,” Kahn said,” anyways what’s so special about that little prick?!”

Grace then opened her eyes widely and angrily glared at Kahn who was right behind her, she snapped her fingers. Soon some large footsteps came echoing in the room. Kahn got frightened and took a few steps back. Then in the shadows behind him two mean yellow eyes appeared, and then two large green arms grabbed him from behind. He started to scream in agony as the pokemon grabbed him and tore him a part.

“If you’re going to beat him up Tyranitar at least do it somewhere else,” Grace said.

Tyranitar then made a goofy grin and exited her chambers along with Kahn.

“Fools…” Grace said in her mind.

Hmmm....your grammar and spelling are extremely medicore, and it gets too uneven and choppy at times. Also, you keep switching tenses in the middle of a paragraph.

That was past tense, which is how most fanficitons are written...but...this...

Then Blaziken goes on one foot hopping around. He then tips over a rock and falls down full of sweat.

...was present tense. Bad, bad, bad. There's absolutely no reason to be switching tenses in a situation like this, so it comes out as making very little sense.

Your description is alsp extremely lacking, and barebones. I cannot picture what's happening at all, because what description you have isn't good. For example, you say Ludicolo landed with stars in its eyes. That does not mean fainting...Xs or swirls would have been a better choice. Most of your problems revolve around that aspect of the descriptipon, as well as grammar/spelling. It would be a wise choice to use a grammar/spelling check in your writing program before posting the chapter.

EEP! Sorry. Bad day...
The plot so far has been ok-ish, I found it a little weird but that's just me.
Spelling, grammar and description haven't really improved much since your last fic but Scrap has already mentioned that.
Keeep trying though, you can only get better!

I think it's just your spelling, grammar and description. So far, in both your fics, I found the plot to be very good and interesting, a bit iffy in places but still ok. But this is just my opinion.

Yes, the grammar and spelling may be causing people to stop reading, because it can be difficult to read. Don't be discouraged, however, you can always use a spellcheck. ^^

Okay this is just a preview of the next chapter if there are any problms post me and I'll fix it.

Chapter 3
Departure

Shade is now in the battle arena against Lt. Surge, about to face his last pokemon.

“You’re a tough kid but still no match for Electabuzz!” Lt. Surge hollered.

Electabuzz zapped onto the arena roaring like thunder. Electabuzz powered its body with powerful surges of electricity and rushed towards Blaziken. Blaziken leaped out of the way but Electabuzz swiftly grabbed Blaziken’s leg and threw Blaziken to a wall. Blaziken was a bit tired because he had to fight all of Lt. Surge’s pokemon by himself. Electabuzz still charged with electricity went towards Blaziken again. Blaziken leaped up on the air, landed on Electabuzz then kicked Electabuzz’s face while trying to jump off. Electabuzz then powered up with electricity again. It opened its mouth and released a huge ball of electricity. Blaziken then leaped out of the way. The zap cannon attack made an explosion behind Blaziken. The Explosion struck Blaziken from behind. Blaziken weakly tried to get up. Electabuzz grinned as it was about to bring on the final assault.

That was much better, you're description has very much improved in my opinion. It did, however, seem a little rushed, like you were in a hurry to type it all out and post it.
But, still, it's a definite improvement I'd say! :D

Chapter 3
Deception and Departure

“It’s all over kid,” Lt. Surge grinned.

“Not quite,” Shade smirked.

He reached out a cube shaped spray called full restore and sprayed it on Blaziken. Electabuzz then released a powerful surge of lightning from its two antennas. But then Blaziken quickly got up, dodged the attacks and rushed towards Electabuzz giving it a powerful blaze kick. Electabuzz instantly got up and spat out some saliva. Electabuzz then bashed its powerful hands on the ground making the earth beneath Blaziken crumble. But Blaziken leaped out of the way in time and released a powerful flame of fury. Electabuzz counteracted the stream of inferno with a powerful zap cannon. The cannon ball of electricity collided with the stream of fire making an explosion. Smoke popped up covering the arena, Blaziken had trouble finding Electabuzz. But then out of the smoke Electabuzz flew against Blaziken’s chest and nearly knocked Blaziken off the battle field.

“Remember kid if any part of your pokemon is out of the field you instantly lose,” Lt. Surge reminded.

Electabuzz then striked its two fists towards Blaziken but Blaziken instantly caught them. Electabuzz smirked and released a powerful surge of electricity throughout Blaziken’s body. Blaziken hollered in pain as the electricity made contact all over his body. Blaziken was slowly being pushed near the end of the arena.

“So that’s your plan eh?” Shade asked,” Blaziken, reversal take down!”

Blaziken weakly nodded. It slowly carried Electabuzz with Electabuzz’s feet up in the air by holding up Electabuzz’s fists. Reyna was in the audience watching Shade in the battle and was wondering how Blaziken could still be so strong. Electabuzz was astonished as well that Blaziken still has the will to go on but Electabuzz continued electrify Blaziken with its awesome electric power. Blaziken then weakly took a few steps forward then threw itself and Electabuzz backwards. Blaziken felt a sharp pain in its back as it did the take down reversal. Electabuzz, still with a lot of strenght, got up to strike a thunder punch. Electabuzz started recharging its body and hand for the attack but Blaziken just grinned. Electabuzz is wondering why Blaziken was smiling when he’s going to be fried. Soon a bell rang.

“The winner is Blaziken and Shade!” a referee shouted.

Electabuzz couldn’t understand why he lost, then he looked down and saw that he was out of the battle arena. Electabuzz then fell on his knees pounded the ground for not seeing through their plan. Lt. Surge went over to his pokemon and told him that he did a good job anyway. Blaziken roared in victory and it soon fell on its knees panting. Shade instantly recalled Blaziken and gave it a rare candy and another full restore. Reyna cheered as Shade was given the thunder badge. Shade almost forgot that Reyna was rooting for her. Later they were sitting down at a nearby store, they were drinking sodas in one of those tables with umbrellas.

“Wow Shade you sure have got skill,” Reyna said.

“Yeah, I’m good,” Shade said.

“But you would’ve gotten that badge a whole lot easier if you had a second pokemon to help you out,” Reyna said.

“Yeah, but its tough finding good pokemon to help you,” Shade said,” Especially when they’re frightened of you.”

“Pokemon are frightened of you?” Reyna asked.

“Uh let’s talk about something else,” Shad interrupted,” you got any more questions you want to ask me about pokemon?”

“Well yeah, could we see some pokemon exhibits in a museum?” Reyna asked.

“Shouldn’t you ask you’re parents?” Shad asked.

“Well yeah,” Reyna answered,” but my parents are both at work and I can’t go in unless I’ve got an elder to join me.”

“Well okay,” Shade said.

Reyna instantly grabbed Shade leaving there drinks behind. But soon an Absol appeared it was the same one that attacked the sub-leader yesterday. Absol got on the table and sniffed the sodas. It then took Shades and drank it all. After drinking the soda it sniffed on the ground trying to get Shade’s scent. It then looked at the pathway Shade gone to, smirked and followed the Shade’s trail. Soon Shade and Reyna arrived at the Vermillion of natural history. Shade sighed.

“Why is it that almost every museum has this name?” Shade wondered.

“Who cares? Let’s go!” Reyna said full of excitement pulling Shade in.

As they go in they notice that there are plenty of exhibits such as Kabutops fossils, Lapras models, etc.

“Wow this place is cramped with new exhibits!” Reyna said.

“Yeah whatever,” Shade replied.

Shade wasn’t very interested with the fossils or ruins. But then something caught his eye. He looks over a glass case and saw a tablet filled with hieroglyphics about the Black Rayquazas, It had strange writings on it and an empty slot shaped like a hand on it.

“Hey Reyna what’s this?” Shade asked.

“Oh that?” Reyna said,” that’s the oldest exhibit they’ve got here; it was uncovered by an archeologist in a secret part of the Diglett Cave. Ooh let’s look at that exhibit of pokemon resurrection!”

“You go ahead I’ll just look at this for a while,” Shade said.

Reyna just went off into the crowd. Shade looked at the rock carefully.

“This is an original Black Rayquaza tablet!” Shade said.

“I see you’re interested in this,” a man in a snazzy suit and who wore black gloves said,” I’m Raymond the curator of this museum; this is an original tablet want to touch it?”

Raymond opened the seal to let Shade touch. Shade was astonished by the tablet. He was about to touch it but then he stopped and used his right hand to touch it. Raymond thought this was a bit odd but he didn’t really care. Shade quietly murmured the inscriptions.

“Attention all visitors the museum is now closing,” on of the clients of the museum said.

“Well it’s closing time I suggest you leave now,” Raymond said carefully putting the tablet back into its case.

“Hey Shade that was such a cool exhibit about pokemon resurrection I just saw you should’ve seen it!” Reyna said.

“Lucky you now do you think I could drop you home?” Shade asked.

As soon as they got out of the museum it started to slowly rain. Absol then caught up with them and took shelter in a nearby tree. Shade then noticed Absol in the tree. Absol then smirked and glared at Shade.

“The one I’ve been searching for,” Absol said in its mind.

While Shade was dropping Reyna home, Reyna asked him a couple of questions. Shade was astonished by Reyna’s eagerness to learn from him. He answered all of the questions for her anyway and told her she’s really attentive to learn from him. After Shade dropped Reyna home he instantly went to the pokemon center because a dark storm was coming. When he got into the pokemon center he was dripping wet. He then went into his room instead of the warm fire place that was in the center of the pokemon center. He then locked up his room and closed the lights. He opened a small light which shown a blue color in the center of the room. He then went into the light cross his legs, closed his eyes and began to meditate. His mind soon entered a dark room filled with stars, planets, etc. He slowly floated upwards, placed his right hand in front of him and opened his palm. His arm began to glow glimmering green. Soon it showed a pyrite map. He then clicked on one of the locations and strange writing, the same kind of text in the tablet from the museum.

“I should’ve known you’d be here as well,” a familiar voice called out.

“What’re you doing here Grace?” Shad said coldly.

“The same reason you’re here,” Grace answered,” searching for answers. I see you’ve found one of the Black Rayquaza tablets.”

“Yes, I know as well that you’re planning to steal it,” Shade said.

“Heh you saw the Absol huh?” Grace asked,” I know you want to use the dragon.”

Shade just glared coldly at Grace.

“I know you Shade you’re like all of us a blood thirsty trainer who wants power,” Grace said,” but you only lack one thing.”

“And what might that be?” Shade asked coldly.

“The heart of a shadow, you have different uses for your special power,” Grace said,” You’d rather use it to protect this world rather than using it to dominate the world.”

“True,” Shade said,” So who’re you going to send to retrieve the tablet?”

“I had in mind Akira,” Grace said disappearing.

Shade smirked and soon disappeared. Back in the museum lightning and thunder roared outside as rain heavily poured down on the ground. Soon a man with a half red mask covering the top part on his head, armored shoulders, a muscular body, white shirt, green pants, grey gloves and army boots stepped in front of the museum. Suddenly an explosion busted out in the museum, the alarm bells started to ring. Then all of a sudden Shade came out with the tablet.

“Heh Grace said you would try and attempt to steal it,” Akira said.

“Well she was correct,” Shade smirked.

“Now hand it over,” Akira demanded.

“Why should I?” Shade questioned.

“Well it’s because I would do this!” Akira said.

He thrusted his fist onto Shade but it went right through. Akira was at shock he tried to punch him but his fist still went through. He tried to grab the tablet but it was also an image.

“Dear, dear simple minded Akira always does thing without thinking,” the image said,” remember I’m the deceiver of the Black Rayquazas so I could create images of myself, oh and you better run the police is here.”

Soon the image disappeared into smoke particles. Then a group of cops came in. Akira just grinned. He instantly rushed inside the museum.

“I think the culprit went inside!” Officer Jenny shouted.

The police searched around but they couldn’t find Akira. They searched every corner including the lavatory and the only exit was being blocked by the police, and they still couldn’t find a trace of him. But they heard a struggle inside the janitor’s closet. They opened the door and found the curator tied up with messy hair.

“Curator are you okay?” Officer Jenny asked.

“Yes but somebody has stolen the tablet,” Raymond said.

“Don’t worry we’ll make a search party,” Officer Jenny said,” We’ll escort you home.”

“Thank you officers,” Raymond said.

As he got into the car Absol screeched at him and grinned. By the time he got home he went behind some mirrors to change and picked up his cell phone to call someone.

“Grace, Shade has stolen the tablet,” Raymond said as he changed.

“Don’t worry Raymond he’ll probably use it to awaken the dragon,” Grace said on the other line.

“What’s should I do now?” Raymond asked.

“I want you to fly to the Sevii islands and find that legend Moltress,” Grace said,” You sure you won’t need any back up?”

“Don’t worry,” Raymond said getting out of the mirrors,” I’m after all Akira the strongman of the Black Rayquazas!”

He hanged up, held his mask and laughed along with the thunder and lightning. Meanwhile in Digletts Cave Shade faces the secret entrance where the tablet’s been discovered. He placed the tablet on the rocky wall where it was taken off. He then removes his glove in his right hand, which had a dragon tattoo printed on his hand to his arm, and placed it on the tablet. Soon the markings and his tattoo started to have a glowing blue aura, the cave then revealed other markings which started to glow as well. Soon two large pairs of glowing yellow eyes appeared in the cave, echoes of footsteps started to sound through out the cave. Then an Aerodactyl slowly descended out of the shadows.

“Aerodactyl, ancient terror of the skies! I have this mark of the Black Rayquazas!” Shade called out,” will you join me in my quest to free this world from utter chaos?”

Aerodactyl slowly looks down at Shade’s marking, it slowly examines the black dragon tattoo printed on his arm, with a final glare it took a few steps to Shade and kneeled down. Shade then threw a pokeball at it and in a few seconds Aerodactyl stays in the pokeball. Shade takes the pokeball and slowly departs from the cave and goes out into the dark, foggy and cold rain. Outside the cold, dark and damp landscape, Shade notices that there was a happy teenage couple walking down; Shade then looked at Aerodactyl in its transparent pokeball.

“Grace is right, I don’t have the will to dominate this world,” Shade said to himself smirking,” but that doesn’t mean I can’t have a little fun from my dark side.”

Shade then unleashed Aerodactyl to attack the teenage couple. While the couple was flirting Aerodactyl appeared from the foggy and dark skies and struck the couple. The teenagers screamed out loud which could be heard from miles away. As Shade watched the couple ran away in fear he laughed out loud like a maniac with the lightning and thunder as the cold rain poured heavily on his hat.
The next morning in Reyna’s house she tells her parents all about Shade.

“Shade sounds like a very interesting person,” Reyna’s mom says.

“Mail for my little princess,” Shade’s dad said giving the mail to Reyna.

Reyna received a small package with a small note. It was a letter from Shade. It said:

Dear Reyna

I’ve left this message to you because I’ll be leaving today in the morning. I know I’m supposed to help you along your journey but I had to leave. When you go along your journey we might meet again. I’ve left you two gifts in the package. You’re a special trainer Reyna. You showed plenty of potential in the past two days because of your curiosity of pokemon. In my eyes you’re already a master in such a short period of time. I hope you’ll mature more into a beautiful young lady.

Love Shade

Reyna then opened the package and found a pokedex and a shining blue CD. She instantly recognized it as a hidden machine. It was the HM surf for her pokemon Nina. She started to go in tears that Shade was already leaving.

“Mom, Dad I was wondering could I start my journey now?” Reyna asked.

The parents looked at each other.

“Sure honey,” her mom said,” you’ve decided to finally relive your dream huh? Well better get your stuff ready.”

As soon as Reyna got ready she left home and waved a t hr parents. Her mother was in tears but hr dad tried comforting her as he waved goodbye. Reyna then looked at her watch and noticed it was only eight ‘O five! The pokemon center opens at eight so she still had time to say goodbye to Shade. She was about to run to the pokemon center but then she saw an Aerodactyl fly above her city like an eagle. She saw on top of Aerodactyl a rider. She instantly recognized the rider as Shade.

“GOODBYE SHADE, I HOPE WE COULD MEET AGAIN!” Reyna shouted in tears as she waved.

In the blue skies Shade saw Reyna from the distance and waved as he flew beyond the bright and shining horizon.

Chapter 4
Cold memories

Shade and Aerodactyl stand on the high mountains near Cerulean city. Shade looks over the shining blue city of water. In the mountains the climate was warm and foggy due to some of the hot springs surrounding the area. The mountains were also covered by glaciers of thick ice and snow. He notices that plenty of people were in high spirits and living good lives. He feels sorry for his pokemon because they have to join him in his quest on destroying his own clan. He then takes a good look at Aerodactyl whose eyes burn like a crimson fire at the shining city. He then takes out a piece of raw meat and tosses it to Aerodactyl. Aerodactyl instantly smelled the raw flesh and quickly caught it with its terrible large fangs.

“Hey Aerodactyl,” Shade asked,” I know you take any choice of the one who releases you, but I want to know do you want to really help me?”

Shade easily understands what pokemon says even though he just caught it.

“(I would follow any person who wants to destroy the accursed Black Rayquazas),” Aerodactyl said in a powerful voice,” (by what I said I think you already know what I mean).”

“Thanks Aerodactyl,” Shade thanked.

“(You know when I was released I thought I was going to be owned by another dictator),” Aerodactyl said,” (but you’re different from your clan, you’d rather use your special ability to protect rather than destroy).”

“I noticed,” Shade said.

“(It’s rather strange that you told me to attack the sweet couple though),” Aerodactyl commented.

“Even though the Black Rayquazas I still have this kind of peculiar attitude,” Shade said.

“(I see),” Aerodactyl said, “(Does your Blaziken have the same opinion as mine)?”

“Yes he’s also quite intrigued that I’d rather use our berserk bond ability to protect rather then go with the Black Rayquazas main goals,” Shade said.

Aerodactyl nods, then slowly went inside his pokeball. Shade looks at his two pokemon in their transparent pokeballs.

“I just hope you guys won’t have any regrets on joining me,” Shade said as he walked away.

He then arrives at a sizzling hot spring to do some quiet meditation. He takes out Blaziken and Aerodactyl and asked them if they want to also soak in the hot spring.

“(No thanks,” Blaziken said in a rough tone,” we don’t exactly have memory loss).”

Shade thought that they were making fun of him.

“(No I mean that you need this more than we do,” Blaziken apologized),” we’ll just keep a look out.”

“Suet yourself,” Shade said.

He then placed his clothes in a nearby rock and slowly meditated in the boiling water. The warm current helped his mind focus. But instead of going to the dark room he decided to look within his memories. But like an incomplete video it didn’t start out in his early child hood it began somewhere a little later. He had no memory of his parents or his home town all he remembered is a small five year old boy cowering in a dark cold alley with his faithful pokemon Combusken. Combusken and Shade were facing a dark druid. The druid just flicked his skeletal finger and Combusken was knocked out cold. Combusken instantly went back inside its pokeball. The druid took out his skeletal hand in his sleeves. His bony hand then grabbed Shade’s arm and stared at the glowing tattoo printed on Shade. The druid then took a firm grip of Shade’s arm and pulled him into the dark shadows. This is the only memory he had in a city after that he just remembers being in the sky pillar and how his hate grew, for they did not only abuse pokemon but also the people. Grace was the first friend he made in the sky pillar but as time went on she turned into an attractive young woman whose heart was soon consumed by the shadows. Then soon he opened his eyes because Blaziken was nudging him.

“What is it?” Shade asked.

“(We found something),” Blaziken informed.

Shade didn’t really care but he got into his clothes to see what they’ve found in the frozen tundra. Blaziken lead Shade to a cave Aerodactyl was standing at.

“So what’s so special about this cave?” Shade asked.

“(We found this),” Aerodactyl grunted holding a script.

The script was old; it had the same markings as the markings he saw on the tablet. So after reading the inscriptions, Shade decided to look around the caverns. Inside the cave it was all dark. Glowing blue markings encircled the caves walls. He could hear their footsteps echoing through the frozen corridors, he heard drops of water descending from the ceiling and he heard the frosty wind roaring throughout the cave. They’ve been walking throughout the cave until they reach a light. When they got there he noticed it was much warmer in this part. There were fountains of hot springs surrounding the area. There were old people whose hair were white as snow, were cross-legged on a rock in the center of each spring. The area was also covered by wild long vines. They walked slowly through the steaming floors until they faced the biggest spring fountain. The rocks holding the warm spring water was carved into a perfect Gyarados sculpture. On top of the sculpture was an old, bald man with orange robes.

“Welcome child,” the old man says,” I’m Kenzo, the eldest monk of the fountains of virtue.”

“I’m…”

“Shade I know,” Kenzo says,” I’ve been expecting you.”

Blaziken and Aerodactyl were astonished. But Shade was suspicious.

“I know that you have got a gap in you memories,” Kenzo said.

Blaziken and Aerodactyl again were astonished, but Shade remained suspicious.

“Come here and I’ll help you regain your lost memory” Kenzo said.

Shade didn’t really trust him but a part of his heart said to do it. So Shade went over to the floating rock crossed his legs and closed his eyes for meditation. He could hear the old man’s voice echo throughout his mind.

“Shade holder of the black tattoo,” Kenzo said,” You’re parents; they were a loving family, until you came in.”

“What?” Shad asked.

“Yes your parent’s saw that you were among the Black Rayquazas,” Kenzo hummed,” they treated you as an equal but in their heart you were an abomination.”

“What? This can’t be true!” Shade screamed holding his head and covering his ears.

“Do not deny the truth!” Kenzo shouted.

Shade then got up screaming. Soon the dead vines around the springs restrained Shade.

“(Shade)!” Blaziken shouted.

Blaziken tried to run to help his friend from the aggressive vines. But soon another pair of vines reached out, grabbed Blaziken, restrained and slammed him to the cave walls.

“(Blaziken)!” Aerodactyl cried,” (Now you’ve done it you baldy)!”

Aerodactyl thrusted its wings against the old monk. But the vines grabbed Aerodactyl’s crusty wings and neck and threw him down to the ground.

“Now let me continue,” Kenzo said,” when it was the year of the Rayquaza they left you in an alley to let the druid of doom find you.”

“No, no!” Shade cried.

“Ask your friend Blaziken,” Kenzo said.

Shade slowly looked at Blaziken waiting for an answer.

“(It’s true your parents did leave you in an alley),” Blaziken said grimly.

Shade couldn’t believe his ears. He slowly dropped his head and slowly went in tears.

“Now you see the truth?” Kenzo asked, rejoin your comrades and they’ll forgive you.”

“(But that’s not the reason why they left you there),” Blaziken continued,” (they left you there to protect you from the druid of doom).”

“What do you mean?” Shade weakly asked.

“(They were afraid that you would be found so they left you in an alley),” Blaziken said,”( they left you in my charge to take you secretly to Goldenrod, but when I tried to get you to the train we were too late the druid had arrived and taken you).”

“But why didn’t they accompany me the station?” Shade asked.

“(The druid could sniff the fragrance of blood of an elder better than a youngster).” Blaziken said,” (your parents perished by the hands of the druid, the last thing they told me was to tell you that).”

But Blaziken was interrupted by a vine that strapped his mouth. Blaziken tried to mumble the words out of is mouth but it was useless.

“Do not listen to him,” Kenzo said,” for he is only a pokemon.”

“Wrong,” Shade said coldly,” he’s more than a pokemon, he’s family.”

Blaziken looked at Shade with amazement. He was shocked that Shade would accept him as a member of the family. Soon a blue aura surrounded Shade’s eyes and body.

“Berserk Bond!” Shade shouted.

Soon Blaziken’s eyes turned to a crimson red. His muscles began to grow; Blaziken soon released himself from the vines. He then went over to Aerodactyl to release him. Blaziken and Aerodactyl rushed over to Shade to help him. Shade went on his knees coughing and panting.

“Nice try Kenzo,” Shade said smirking,” you tried to trick me into joining the Black Rayquazas? Isn’t that right Marik?”

Soon the old man stood and altered himself into a young man, about the age of twenty. He had the same uniform as Shade and had short, spiky and blond hair.

“Very clever my deceptive foe,” Marik said,” but it’s time to end this, Sneasels attack!”

Soon the monks sitting in the springs, stood up and soon changed form into a dark/ice cat Sneasel. The Sneasels started hissing and snapping their paws at them.

“This doesn’t frighten us!” Shade called out.

Soon Blaziken and Aerodactyl jumped into the air. The countless numbers of Sneasels were no match for Blaziken and Aerodactyl and very soon they were all taken out one by one.

“Very impressive my young foe,” Marik commented,” but this is just the beginning.”

Marik clapped his hands and the earth started to tremble. The cave started rumbling, and the springs started to boil harder. The statue Marik was standing on started to tremble. There were two Sneasels in the Gyarados’s mouth. The mouth began to crumble open and the two Sneasels fell into the depths of the statue. Out of the statue emerged the rare red Gyarados of the Lake Of Rage. Red Gyarados was mostly thought to be a shiny version of Gyarados. Gyarados hollered through out the caves making it quake. Gyarados then spat out the two Sneasels it nearly digested. The two Sneasels landed on the caverns covered by saliva. Gyarados looked viciously at its enemies.

“Alright my puny minded serpent,” Marik said,” devour them!”

Gyarados then dug underground into the earth’s crust. For a moment there was silence, but soon the earth began too quake and the red serpent rose from the earth with Blaziken in its mouth. Blaziken was using all of its strength to keep Gyarados’s mouth opened, but Gyarados continued to crush its opponent with its horrible fangs.

“You fool!” Marik mocked,” Gyarados’s teeth can crush steel what makes you think Blaziken could resist this?”

“Gyarados is trying to close its mouth not sink its teeth on Blaziken you ninny,” Shade said.

“Oh okay,” Marik said with a dumb look at his face.

“Look how observant we are,” Shade mocked,” but enough about this Aerodactyl help him.”

Aerodactyl nodded and landed on Gyarados’s scaly back.

“Hah you fool,” Marik said,” Gyarados’s scales are really powerful your Aerodactyl won’t be able to make a scratch on it!”

“Are you really this stupid?” Shade asked,” Aerodactyl’s tickling Gyarados not slashing it.”

“Huh?” Marik wondered with another dumb look on his face.

Aerodactyl carefully slotted its claws into gaps of Gyarados and started to softly scratch. Gyarados the felt a small tickle running through its body. It started laughing manically as its mouth widened releasing Blaziken. Aerodactyl stopped tickling Gyarados then grabbed Shade and Blaziken to give them a lift.

“You idiot!” Marik shouted.

“Look who’s talking,” Shade mocked.

Marik grinded his teeth together and ordered what was left of the Sneasel army and Red Gyarados to attack. Soon Gyarados stopped laughing and swiftly started chasing Aerodactyl. The Sneasel from the bottom fired beams of crystal ice at Aerodactyl. A few of the Sneasels climbed onto Aerodactyl’s tail and wings, a few of them either crashed on the ground, fell off or thrown off by Blaziken. Like normal Gyarados the Red serpent got in rage and released an overheat attack. Gyarados’s body turned from red to ruby red. It released intense flames all around the cave. Some of the flames hit the walls or the Sneasels. But one flame reached out and touched a spring. The spring started to burst into flames.

“You idiot the water’s flammable,” Marik screamed put it out, put it out, put it out!”

The Gyarados sprayed a large foam of water at the burning inferno. After the fire was extinguished Marik noticed Shade’s Blaziken was spraying flames all over the springs. In a matter of seconds the springs were engulfed by fire.

“Gahhh! Put it out!” Marik panicked.

Gyarados then started shaking around and chanted. Soon a dark cloud covered the ceiling and drops of rain extinguished the flames all around.

“Nice try my small foe,” Marik said,” but I’m not that stupid!”

“First of all stop trying to sound smart,” Shade requested,” and second that was just a distraction!”

Shade was on Aerodactyl in the air. Aerodactyl then spun with its wings hardening to a glowing metal and creating a giant hole on the ceiling with its razor blade wings. Aerodactyl flew high up in the air where Shad could see the whole snowy horizon around him. But soon Gyarados and the Sneasels released a light of ice. But Aerodactyl used safe guard which protected itself from the freezing attacks.

“Aright guys do your thing!” Shade said.

Aerodactyl and Blaziken nodded. Aerodactyl roared throughout the mountains. Soon boulders covered with snow raised from the ground surrounded by a crystal blue aura. Blaziken then closed it eyes and small violet flame ignited above Blaziken’s head. The small blaze created copies of itself.
The small violet flames circled around Blaziken a few times and it soon struck the boulders smoldering it with a great brand of flame. Soon Aerodactyl pointed at the cave they’ve just exited and soon the burning boulders came hurdling down like meteors from the sky.

“Gyarados get me out of here!” Marik shouted,” Sneasels use your protect attack to cover me!”

Marik instantly got on Gyarados’s back and slowly crawled away and the Sneasels were just running around in panic. Soon the burnt rocks touched the cave. In a matter of seconds the cave blew up. Shade and his pokemon laughed as they flew off into the skies.

“Hey Blaziken earlier what were you trying to tell me earlier?” Shade asked.

“(I was going to tell you that your parents wanted me to tell you that they loved you with all their heart),” Blaziken said.

“Thanks for being like a brother to me,” Shade said hugging Blaziken.

“(Hey am I family too)?” Aerodactyl asked.

“Yeah,” Shade said,” anyone who joins me is a part of my family.”

“(I’m guessing that means Reyna and Grace as well),” Blaziken added.

“I guess so,” Shade said as they flew to the green city of Viridian.

It looks okay. The only thing I read that was a bit strange was Marik. If he's so stupid how could he trick Shade so easily like that?

Chapter 5
A new trainer enters

In Viridian city Shade was pretty bored fighting the gym leader. He had a pretty easy win using Blaziken. He decides to go somewhere new. He decided to head of to Johto a far more different world than Kanto filled with different pokemon you don’t really see in Hoenn or Kanto. He takes out Aerodactyl and hops on him. Aerodactyl slowly flaps his wings creating a small sandstorm and glides into the shining ocean.

“Hey Aerodactyl how long would it take you to Johto?” Shade asked lying on Aerodactyl’s back with a straw in his mouth.

“(Well since I’m a really big pokemon and Johto’s the neighboring region of Kanto I’d say about half a day),” Aerodactyl informed.

“Well I can’t wait to see what’s over the horizon,” Shade said,” I’ve been in Kanto for a few days and boy was I bored, anyway since it’s the neighboring region of Kanto we could always come back.”

Meanwhile in the sky pillar. The computer detects that Shade is on his way to Johto. The sub-leader instantly notices this and makes contact to Grace who is on a helicopter hovering above the ocean.

“Ma’am! I’ve just got something that I think might interest you,” the sub-leader said.

Grace put the phone on hands free.

“This better be good!” Grace said,” I have really important business to contend to.”

“But Ma’am Shade’s entering the Johto region!” The sub-leader reported.

“Oh really?” Grace asked with interest,” sub-leader I’m putting you in charge until I return.”

Grace was hovering above the ocean. She took three pokeballs containing A Sceptile, Tyranitar and a Salamence and tied them to her belt. She ordered the helicopter to head back to base. The pilot was confused but when he turned around he saw Grace jump off the helicopter. He though she was nuts, but Grace instantly took out Salamence. Salamence was a blue dragon with red wings and would be considered the Dragonite of Hoenn. Salamence quickly flew away and in a matter of seconds they were out of sight.

“Watch out Shade,” Grace murmured,” An old friend of yours is coming and she won’t return with out you.”

Chapter 5
Separation of the three greatest powers of time

In Viridian city Shade was pretty bored fighting the gym leader. He had a pretty easy win using Blaziken. He decides to go somewhere new. He decided to head of to Johto a far more different world than Kanto filled with different pokemon you don’t really see in Hoenn or Kanto. He takes out Aerodactyl and rides on him. Aerodactyl slowly flaps his wings and glides into the ocean.

“Hey Aerodactyl how long would it take you to Johto?” Shade asked lying on Aerodactyl’s back.

“(Well since I’m a really big pokemon and Johto’s the neighboring region of Kanto I’d say about forty-five minutes),” Aerodactyl said.

Grace was flying in the ocean. She took three pokeballs containing A Sceptile, Tyranitar and a Salamence. She ordered the helicopter to head back to base. The pilot was confused but when he turned around he saw Grace jump off the helicopter. Grace instantly took out Salamence. Salamence was a blue dragon with red wings and would be considered the Dragonite of Hoenn. Salamence quickly flew away and in a matter of seconds they were out of sight.

“Watch out Shade,” Grace murmured,” An old friend of yours is coming and she won’t return with out you.”

As they flew they got closer and in front of them they could see the city of Goldenrod. Her tattoo bleakly beeped an emerald green color. This meant the Shade was in the region. Now in the city of Blackthorn a really popular trainer named Blake was showing of some of his skills to a crowd with his Breloom. Breloom was a fighting type mushroom pokemon originally located in Hoenn. Since there are no Brelooms in Johto or Kanto plenty of people were interested in seeing what Breloom could do. Breloom’s also the evolved form of Shroomish. Blake was a boy about the age of thirteen. He had green hair, a jacket, cap, and jeans colored white with an orange streak. The crowd was going wild to see his Breloom in action.

“All right come down you’ll all get to see Breloom and I catch our new pokemon,” Blake boasted.

Suddenly an Urasing appeared from the forest roaring and going on a rampage breaking trees. Blake instantly released Breloom in the air. Breloom popped out in the sun doing a flip. While Urasing wasn’t looking Breloom unleashed its small arms on Urasing’s face. Urasing stepped back a little rubbing its face. Urasing towered over Breloom. Urasing then unleashed a powerful blast from its fist. But Breloom instantly caught its hand.

“Alright Breloom double kick!” Blake called out.

Breloom still having a grip on Urasing’s hand did a flip and used both of its legs to kick Urasing’s chest and mouth. Urasing hollered in anger. Urasing quickly reached out its long arms and gave Breloom a bear hug.
Breloom was trying to get out of Urasing’s powerful grip but it was no use.

“Breloom sunny day!” Blake ordered.

Breloom’s eyes started to glow golden yellow. The sun’s powerful rays glowed brighter and touched both Urasing and Breloom.

“Okay, Breloom solar beam below you!” Blake called out.

Breloom weakly nodded and placed its small hands together, pointing it to the ground. Since the sun brightly shown a beam of sun energy instantly blew out. Urasing and Breloom quickly blasted into the sky. Breloom forced its arm into Urasing’s chest. Urasing let go in panic, waving its arms. Finally Breloom let out another solar beam. The beam pushed Urasing down to earth. Everybody was at awe.
Urasing roughly landed into a pile of rocks making a hole. Blake took out a poke ball and threw it at Urasing. Urasing was then engulfed by the small sphere and in a matter of seconds it was captured. Breloom landed kneeling. Everybody was cheering and clapping their hands.

“Yup we’re the best,” Blake boasted.

By night fall everybody had returned home talking about Blake and his Breloom. Blake entered the pokemon center giving his pokemon to nurse Joy.

“Boy being popular isn’t easy,” Blake said resting his elbow on the counter.

“Speaking of popular did you hear about the wild Ampharos rampaging around the city?” Nurse Joy asked.

“No, but does it belong to anyone?” Blake asked.

“No but it would be a real treat catching a full grown Ampharos,” Nurse Joy said.

“And it would be another good treat for my fans to see Breloom in action again,” Blake said.

Nurse Joy nodded. Suddenly something flew right past the city making the trees sway and the wind blow.

“What was that?” Blake asked.

In the mountains of Dragons Den Aerodactyl rested on the warm rocks.

“(Ah Dragons Den),” Aerodactyl said with relief,” (The on place where a dragon could go on a rampage).”

“We could rest here for the night,” Shade said.

Aerodactyl yawned closing its wings together and lying on the rocks. Shade pulled his hat down, stretched and went to sleep. Meanwhile Grace who was in the ruins of Alph stood firmly looking at the ruins. Her tattoo began to blink even brighter.

“Shade’s nearby,” Grace smirked.

She slowly ordered her Salamence to use secret power on a part of the mountains. Salamence raised its claws and instantly created a secret room. She and Salamence entered the room. She lit a small candle with a glowing green flame and placed it in the center of the room. Salamence lied down next to the flame and fell asleep. Grace gently patted Salamence on the head. She crossed her legs closed her eyes and floated. She looked like she was meditating but her mind was actually asleep.
The next day Blake and his fans were searching for Ampharos.

“That Ampharos doesn’t stand a chance,” a girl giggled.

All his fans were talking about how Ampharos was gonna get caught. Blake finally noticed Ampharos lying down on the ground with its eyes shut.

“Ready for trouble Ampharos?” Blake called out.

But Ampharos ignored him and just weakly got up. Blake released Breloom. Breloom started charging towards Ampharos about to strike it. As soon as it got closer a pokeball swallowed Ampharos. Breloom was in a shock and got its hand stuck to a wall.

“Who captured Ampharos?” on of his fans asked.

Just then Shade came out holding Ampharos in his palm. Everybody kept on murmuring “Who’s that guy?”
Shade then noticed Breloom trying to force its hand out of the wall.

“Hey cool Breloom you don’t see that everyday,” Shade said.

“Yes,” Blake said helping Breloom out,” and who are you?”

“The name’s Shade,” Shade answered.

“Well Shade how do you like my Breloom?” Blake asked,” It’s really rare.”

“Breloom’s rare but its basic form isn’t,” Shade said.

“How would you know?” Blake asked.

“You can find a whole lot of ‘em in Hoenn,” Shade said.

“Right,” Blake said,” and what pokemon have you got to top my Breloom?”

“My pal Aerodactyl,” Shade said.

“What?” Blake mumbled.

Aerodactyl came stomping right next to him. Aerodactyl towered on all of them. Everybody was at amazement to see a giant prehistoric pokemon in front of them.

“Well Shade how about you and your Aerodactyl come join me and my fans to Dragons Den?” Blake asked.

“Sure why not?” Shade said.

He recalled Aerodactyl and followed Blake to Dragons Den. Inside was a dark cave filled with Dratini and Zubat. As always Blake was showing off. He was showing off that he could read dragon language. Shade then noticed an ancient tablet with the symbols in the Black Rayquaza tablet.

“Hey Blake what’s this one say?” Shade asked.

“Oh that?” Blake said,” it’s an ancient tablet prophecy written in a very old text which nobody has interpreted for a while. It’s written in the text of all pokemon type languages and English, people are having hard time interpret this since people usually know at last only three different pokemon languages.”

Everybody was at awe by Blake’s knowledge. Shade took a look at it and murmured the words.

“Well it says three great powers will rise to form a savage battle which is about tonight,” Shade said,” and it also says at the near end of the battle begins the dark lord Anubis will rise from the black sand to separate these powers.”

“How do you know?” Blake said.

“The language isn’t written in all pokemon languages and it isn’t partly English,” Shade explained,” It’s written in dark, dragon and Coptic, an ancient Egyptian language that isn’t used anymore.”

Everybody was amazed by Shade’s knowledge as well.

“How do I know that it really says this?” Blake asks

“Well I could just do this and there,” Shade said.

He placed his hand onto the tablet. A shining blue aura surrounded the text and the words instantly transformed to pure English. Everybody was again amazed by Shade’s power and started praising him.

“Okay enough of this,” Blake said,” Now Shade the reason I brought you here was I wanted to challenge you to a battle.”

“Fine how many pokemon?” Shade asked.

“It will be a sudden death match,” Blake said.

Shade agreed and tossed out Blaziken to face Blake. Everybody was at awe by seeing Blaziken. Blake started to fume with rage and instantly released Breloom.

“Let’s do this!” Blake shouted.

Breloom came running towards Blaziken tightening its fist. Breloom nearly touched Blaziken if it weren’t for Blaziken blocking with its arms. Blaziken quickly caught Breloom’s arm and threw it into a wall. Breloom was smashed into the rocky wall making a few cracks beside it as it slowly fell down. Breloom shook its head and started charging towards Blaziken. But since Breloom was so aggressive and did things without thinking it didn't notice Blaziken kneeling down and instantly was instantly slashed with an uppercut on its chin. Breloom went flying out of Dragons Den and into the grass outside the ice caves. Everybody went out to see what happened. Blaziken popped out of the hole in the ceiling and landed in front of Breloom whose head was flowing with blood. It began to rain heavily. Breloom felt the rain touch his face. Breloom’s eyes weakly opened concentrating on Blaziken. Its fists tightened.

“Blaziken look out!” Shade called out.

But it was too late Breloom had quickly got up stabbing Blaziken with its fists. Blaziken felt great pain flow all over his body. Breloom’s right fist started to glow and used a focus punch on Blaziken’s chest. Blaziken went flying back to a pile of rocks nearby. Breloom walked up to Blaziken and grinned. It let out a brutal war cry as the thunder air screamed. Breloom’s hands started snapping and was about to stab Blaziken’s chest with its pointy hands. But before Breloom could even touch Blaziken a long vine reached out restraining Breloom’s arms. They looked up and saw Grace with a Sceptile next to her. Sceptile was the evolution of Grovyle. It had a leafy tail and yellow spheres in its back.

“Hey a bloody battle and nobody invited me?” Grace said,” I’m offended.”

“Listen lady this battle’s between me and the new kid,” Blake said.

“On the contrary my fellow trainer battles always include me!” Grace said.

Suddenly Sceptile’s vines tightened around Breloom’s arms. The vines then threw Breloom into a lake. Breloom fell in with a splash. Sceptile hopped of the giant rocks looking for Blaziken. But the time Sceptile got there Blaziken was gone. Sceptile turned its head side ways looking for Blaziken.

“You’re starting to forget my techniques old comrade,” Shade said.

Down below two arms grabbed Sceptile’s legs and sunk them into the ground. Blaziken quickly burrowed out of the ground and gave Sceptile a powerful kick in the face. Sceptile rubbed its face. Sceptile quickly got off the ground and threw a great mass mud the rain had made. Blaziken blew a blast of fire hardening the mud and cracking it into pieces. Breloom jumped out of the water kicked both Sceptile and Blaziken in the face. Blaziken and Sceptile were knocked down to the wet ground. Breloom let out a mighty roar, waving its hands in the air and laughed at the two fallen pokemon.

“That’s showing ‘em Breloom!” Blake laughed.

Grace and Shade coldly stared at Blake. Sceptile and Blaziken got up grinding their teeth together at Breloom. They held each others hands and thrusted Breloom into a rocky wall. Sceptile and Blaziken did a high five, but Sceptile instantly smirked and threw Blaziken. But Blaziken was well prepared it took a tight grip on Sceptile’s hand and threw her onto Blake’s fans. The fans scattered away in fear, most of them left for safety. Up to five stayed somewhere near, safe and continued to watch.
Breloom from behind grabbed Blaziken’s chest and body slammed Blaziken into the mucky ground. Sceptile then unleashed a powerful punch with its thin arms. Breloom went flying into another pile of rocks. Sceptile was about to pick up Blaziken, but Blaziken thrusted its arm into Sceptile’s eye. Sceptile hollered out in pain as it covered its eyes. Blaziken coughed and rubbed the muck of its face and went to Sceptile and Breloom.
This bloody battle lasted for a long time until the three pokemon standing by the side of their trainers. The trainer’s hearts have been consumed by the shadows, now all they were focusing on was winning. Blaziken rubbed its jaw and spat out some blood from its mouth. Sceptile shook its head and tightened her muscles. Breloom had two black eyes but it was still grinning. It snapped its hands as blood slowly dripped. The rain came pouring harder as the pokemon coldly glared at ach other. Thunder and lightning struck from the sky several times. It was like the world mourning over this vicious battle. After one cold glare from each of them they roared out loud as thunder and lightning screamed along with them. They were charging viciously at each other all battered and bruised and all covered in blood. But before they could even touch each other the muddy ground began to burst into flames transforming into ashes. Th ash filled arth open in the center.

“Stop this bloody clash!” a booming voice called out.

Instantly the muddy ground turned into ashes. A blue aura beam came out of the ground. Rocks began to tremble and the wind began to blow even harder making the trees bow. The dark clouds began to circle as the light reached space. Out of the ground a pokemon silhouette with glowing white eyes appeared. It looked like it had the body of a Mewtwo and the head of a Blaziken. It was Rukario.

“The prophecy had come true!” Shade said.

“You mean the Egyptians considered Rukario as the dark lord Anubis?” Blake asked.

The pokemon started to walk back in fear. Rukario clapped its hands and looked directly at Grace and Sceptile. He pointed a powerful blast of psychic energy at Grace. Soon the lavendar energy beam swallowed up Grace and Sceptile. Rukario then set its eyes on Blake. Blake instantly recalled Breloom and started running like hell. But soon Rukario placed another energy hole into the ground. A steel chain emerged from the hole and wrapped itself around Blake’s leg. The metal chain started to pull Blake down to the hole. Blake was all screaming as he tried to hang on for dear life. Almost half of his body was consumed by the energy hole. He tried to keep a tight grip on the burnt ground but soon four other rusty, crackling chains emerged grabbing his arms, other leg and neck and quickly consumed him into the hole. The hole slowly closed and faded as his scream echoed in the rain.

“I never was meant to emerge from the earth but you three have started a battle that was to continue until death,” Rukario boomed,” Now you must pay the price.

Blaziken let out a blast of flames from its mouth but Rukario raised its paw and shape shifted the flames to a fire serpent. The fire serpent attacked Blaziken, but Shade instantly recalled Blaziken and took the hit of the inferno snake. Shade weakly lay on the ground with burnt bruises, he just lay their helplessly as Rukario blasted another beam at him. He weakly closed his eyes as the psychic energy consumed him. Around him colorful diamonds sparkled around him as he fell deeper into the energy hole.

“It’s over,” Rukario said.

Rukario clapped its hands separating the dark clouds, the wind calmed and thunder and lightning slowly faded. Rukario slowly descended back to the ground. The five fans who saw this instantly reported this to the city. In the evening there was a funeral. There were three grave stones lying on the ash covered ground. The whole city was there offering hope to the departed trainers. But unknown to the whole regions these three haven’t departed from this world.

Ah! I did not get that that was a preview that was before chapter five, I think you should've made that clearer.

Very good chapters (the ones I've missed), I've noticed now that the length of your chapters is growing longer and the description has improved since I last read, well done!

The only thing that bothered me was the appearance of Rukario. I just felt that having Rukario in it was a little iffy cos we don't really know much about it and all that. It's your choice entirely who or what you have in your fic, I am merely saying how I felt about it. I am, however, interested in seeing what else will happen with Rukario.

Anyways, chapters are good and lengthy with more description than before, well done once again.

Yeah I knew that there would be a problem with Rukario's description. It's not really easy to describe him. Later on you'll find other characters you don't normally read about. Thanks for the comments by the way.

Chapter6
The trainers are really alive

It’s already been five years after the catastrophic battle against the three trainers. In the Sky Pillar a new leader has emerged, Akira. They have slowly developed their power and are trying to continue what Grace tried to do five years ago, take over the world. But he uses different techniques now. He has discovered all whereabouts of legendary pokemon and is trying to extract their DNA to make powerful clones like what Team Rocket had nearly done. But now we look deep into the caverns of Mt. Silver, where a few trainers are trying to train their pokemon against high leveled ones for the upcoming tournament in the pokemon Johto. One particular trainer was a girl named Reyna who used to be a student of Shade’s. But since she heard that Shade was dead, she had forgotten him in these five long years. She skids a stone across the water. In the water she starts to see a reflection of Shade.

“(Reyna)?” a gentle voice called to her,” (what’s wrong)?”

Reyna turned around and saw her evolved Milotic. Milotic was a beautiful and rare dragon pokemon. Milotic gently placed her tail on Reyna’s arm.

“Oh Milotic it’s nothing,” Reyna said.

“(You’re still upset about Shade, aren’t you)?” Milotic said softly,” (you’re still having hard time believing he’s dead, aren’t you)?”

“Yes, Shade was like an elder brother to me in those past two days,” Reyna said.

“(Well what do you think),” Milotic said,” (do you believe he’s dead)?”

“No,” Reyna replied.

“(Well then if you don’t think he’s dead he isn’t, because he’s always somewhere special),” Milotic said,” (In your heart).”

Milotic slowly wiped the tears off Reyna’s face. Reyna gave Milotic a hug.

“Well I guess we’d better get back to training,” Reyna said.

Milotic nodded. But then the sky began to darken and rain started to pour down. Everybody rushed to the pokemon center. In Mt. Silver an energy beam clashes down onto one of the springs of the caverns.

“(Well then if you don’t think he’s dad he isn’t, because he’s always somewhere special),” Milotic said,” (In your heart).”

Soon Blake one of the three kids who were thought to be dead five years ago lands screaming on a hot spring. He goes in a panic screaming “I’m gonna drown!”

“Oh shut up,” Grace said,” you’re in a spring,”

She was one of the trios who were also thought to be dead. Blake looked up all warm and wet at Grace.

“I knew that,” Blake said.

Grace just rolled her eyes. Blake was scratching his head as he looked at his right arm. He had scratch which was ironically shaped like a Rayquaza. Soon a small shadow crawled on Blake’s arm covering and printing itself on the scratch. Blake waved his arm trying to get it off.

“Well it looks like you’re now one of us,” Grace said.

“I'm one, of what?” Blake asked.

“A Black Rayquaza, a special kind of human species,” Grace said turning around,” with it we could unleash special powers such as shadow beams, alarms, etc.”

“Shadow beams eh?” Blake smirked.

“Yes now also each of us have our own special power,” Grace informed,” like Shade he could make copies of himself, while I could…”

Blake instantly got up and fired a shadow beam in the shape of a dragon. But Grace was aware of this so her hand blazed up with a flame of shadows and destroyed the beam.

“I forgot,” Grace said,” the three of us haven’t finished our battle because of that interruption.”

“Exactly,” Blake smirked.

“I’ll just call a helicopter to pick us up and to help us get back to my base,” Grace said,” There we could finish our fight.”

She took out her cell phone and waited for someone to pick up. In the sky pillar the sub-leader was about to drink his coffee until the computer ringed. He answered it with frustration.

“Hello,” the sub-leader answered while drinking his coffee.

“It’s me Grace,” Grace said.

The sub-leader spat out his drink in disbelief.

“Grace?” the sub-leader coughed.

“Get someone to pick us up,” Grace ordered.

“Yes ma’am,” the sub-leader said.

Grace then hung up. Akira was standing right behind him.

“Ignore her just send someone over there,” Akira said,” then order him/her to kill her.”

The sub-leader grinned and pressed a button calling someone who was near in the position. Grace was sitting down on a rock waiting for the pick up. Blake had a chocolate bar and ate it. Blake then tried to make up a conversation.

“So why’re you trying to get Shade? Blake asked.

“I have orders of getting rid of him,” Grace said.

“Why do I get the feeling that there’s another reason,” Blake asked.

Grace began to blush a bit. Just then a girl about the same age as Grace, who was wearing the same costume but had red hair appeared behind some boulders.

“Ah Kara,” Grace said,” I see you’ve come to pick us up.”

“Yes,” Kara said,” and I’m supposed to bring you dead.”

“What?” Grace asked.

In that moment Kara took out a shot gun and started shooting at Grace. Grace instantly dodged and kicked the gun of Kara’s arm. Grace grabbed Kara by the collar and started yelling.

“What the hell are you doing!?” Grace screamed choking Kara.

“Orders from new leader,” Kara choked,” you’ve been gone for five years and the new leader heard you’re really alive so (cough) now he wants you dead.”

Then Kara kicked Grace in the mid-section. Grace knelt down holding her mid-section in pain. Kara held the pistol at her face.

“Bye-bye,” Kara smirked about to pull the trigger.

“Not so fast!” Blake called out.

Kara turned around and saw the shadow beam shaped like a dragon head engulf her. She slowly sank into the jaws of the shadow dragon. Soon she was devoured into the shadows and all that was left of her was the pistol. Blake went over to Grace.

“Hey you okay?” Blake asked.

“Yeah,” Grace said weakly,” but I still can’t believe that they did this to me, I treated the whole team like a family.”

“Maybe that’s the problem,” Blake said,” normally bad guys don’t accept the weak hearted and wouldn’t really think they would it have it in them to hurt anyone.”

“What?” Grace asked,” I’m gonna call them to check what’s wrong.”

In the sky-pillar the computer was ringing again, but this time Akira answered.

“Hello?” Akira said.

“Akira why am I demoted from the group? I thought I was one of the best members?” Grace asked.

“Oh you were, you were it’s just that you were soft,” Akira replied.

“What?” Grace asked.

“Listen when you went after Shade we felt that you were up to something,” Akira said,” so I retired you and I’m now the new leader.”

“What?!” Grace yelled,” Akira you piece of sh*t! I made you second in command and this is how you repay me?! When I get back there I’ll!”

But Akira wasn’t listening he was just twirling his finger around the phone wire and hanged up.

“Akira are you there?” Grace asked.

Grace got in rage and broke the phone in her hands and threw it to the ground. She was so enraged that she created a giant shadow beam and shot it through the mountains creating a rock slide.

“So what are you gonna do now?” Blake asked.

But Grace ignored him and let out her Salamence. She hopped on and flew in the stormy and dark sky onto the region of Johto. Blake just stared at Grace in the sky and went to the region of Kanto, where he entered the green city of Viridian. Meanwhile in Mosdeep city Shade wakes up from a long slumber. He finds himself in the Mosdeep science center inside a tank of bubbling green liquid in his mouth was an oxygen mask. He sees that he has wires strapped around his body.

“Doctor his awake!” a scientist with a lab coat and glasses said.
A doctor with sunglasses and a bald head appeared.

“Well hello my friend I see you’ve finally woken up,” the doctor said.

“Who…are…you?” Shade asked grimly.

“I’m Dr. Aki,” the bald professor said,” We’ve found you motionless near the beach and brought you hear for medical care.”

“I don’t need any medical assistance,” Shade said weakly.

“We’ve noticed,” Dr. Aki said,” when we looked at your X-ray it said you had a broken back bone, so we tried to do surgery on you but when we opened you up. Your skeleton was created of rare and powerful steel which only needed a bit of repairing.”

“But what’s with all the wires?” Shade asked.

“You were an interesting person with a unique body structure so we decided to find a little info about your genetics,” Dr. Aki explained.

“You can try but you’ll never succeed,” Shade said.

So now for the ongoing days Dr. Aki and his scientists were trying to find some info on his genetics, but his shadow powers kept on giving blank answers. It has been a week already and Shade floats motionless with his eyes closed in the tank. Suddenly he overheard Dr. Aki talking to a female scientist that looked a bit familiar.

“Grace?” Shade wondered.
Then all of a sudden the building started to shake. The door exploded showing a dark figure. It was Mewtwo a slim, purple and genetic pokemon. It was wearing its silver armor which covered its face, tail, hands, ankles, and half of his top.

“Dr. Aki I’m here to take your rocket fuel,” Mewtwo said.

“What does a pokemon want with it?” Dr. Aki mumbled.

“Black Rayquaza business,” Mewtwo said.

Shade heard this but just stayed motionless; he didn’t really want to have anything to do with this anymore.

“I’m never going to tell you!” Dr. Aki said.

“I’ve got other methods of making you speak,” Mewtwo said.

He reached out his metallic hands and grabbed the woman. Shade noticed this and couldn’t stop to think that was Grace, he began to struggle a bit as he watches Mewtwo strangle her in his arms.

“Now tell me or the woman will have a different head position,” Mewtwo says.

“Alright, alright it’s in the table,” Dr. Aki mumbled.

Mewtwo tossed the woman on the floor right next to Shade’s tank. Shade began to move more. The wires on his body started disconnecting from his body.

“Finally the rocket fuel!” Mewtwo roared in victory.

“Not so fast!” Shade said.

Mewtwo turned around and saw Shade break out of his bubbling tank of sea green liquid. Shade took out three pokeballs from his belt. Blaziken, Ampharos and Aerodactyl appeared.

“Bring it on,” Mewtwo said.

Then a great howl called out from behind Mewtwo. Mewtwo turned around and saw Absol from behind. While Mewtwo was distracted Blaziken rushed over to Mewtwo for a mega kick. But Mewtwo was very aware of this so he grabbed Blaziken’s leg and smacked Absol with Blaziken’s body sending them both into a machine. Absol lay weakly on Blaziken while Blaziken scratches his head. Mewtwo then used his psychic powers to pull a lever down closing a door of the machine. Blaziken and Absol were trapped inside as a cloudy grey smoke covered them.

“Why don’t we take this battle outside?” Mewtwo asked.

Mewtwo then took out a small metal stick from his hip. The stick unleashed a small blade of psychic energy. Mewtwo swiped it onto Shade, Ampharos and Aerodactyl, knocking them into the back of the building on top of a cliff. Mewtwo leapt into the air holding his sword which shined when it made contact with the sun. Meanwhile in the lab, Dr. Aki is trying to free Blaziken and Absol from the locked machine. But it was no use then all of a sudden sparks came out of the buttons and gears and crystal blue light flashed from the window of the sealed door. Meanwhile outside, Mewtwo was trying out techniques that were never heard of.

“Psycho missile!” Mewtwo yelled.

Mewtwo started glowing crystal blue. Out of his finger tips came a barrage of mini missiles. The missiles bombed around Aerodactyl, Ampharos and Shade luckily none of them were hurt.

“Ampharos zap cannon, Aerodactyl hyper beam!” Shade ordered.

Ampharos charged the red sphere on its head with a great mass of electricity and shot out a lightning ball with a massive, immeasurable amount of electricity. Aerodactyl then opened its jaws releasing a rainbow colored beam from its mouth. The two attacks collided together creating a tornado of electricity and energy.

“Not a problem,” Mewtwo said.

Before the two attacks could event touch the surface of Mewtwo’s skin a thick, powerful and invincible barrier engulfed the beam. Mewtwo then released a dozen of long wires from its back to restrain Aerodactyl and Ampharos.

“How the heck does your armor know how to do that?!” Shade asked.

“Team Rocket helped develop my powers,” Mewtwo said,” but the Black Rayquazas upgraded my armor!”

The wires lashed out restraining Aerodactyl. Aerodactyl tried to fight his way out but the more he struggled, the tighter the wires got. The wires then thrusted Aerodactyl to the ground and released a powerful shock of electricity throughout Aerodactyl’s body. Aerodactyl roared in pain as the shock continued. Since Mewtwo’s armor was upgraded, his metallic Mewtwo mask managed to se how much Hp they had left or what kind of attacks they’re using.

“Good fifteen percent of Aerodactyl’s life points remains,” Mewtwo said to himself.

The wires then released Aerodactyl and stuck themselves back into his armor. Mewtwo then burnt up his armored hands with a powerful azure flame. Mewtwo began to throw powerful fir punches all over Ampharos’s body. Ampharos couldn’t dodge any of the attacks Mewtwo used against him. Then with on final blow Mewtwo struck Ampharos on the face sending him right next to Aerodactyl. Ampharos lay on the ground all covered with burns as Aerodactyl lay weakly on the ground as sparks fly all over its body.

“Now it’s your turn,” Mewtwo said glaring at Shade with its glowing cobalt eyes.

Soon a powerful storm emerged from the dark clouds which have just covered the shining sun. Mewtwo snickered grimly as he moved closer towards Shade. Then all of a sudden it felt as powerful burn blast onto its armor. Mewtwo turned around to see Blaziken. Blaziken looked normal except for its color because it just had the color of Absol, black and white.

“What the? A fuzor?” Mewtwo wondered,” I thought those were only theoretical, no matter.”

Mewtwo then launched towards Blaziken, taking out his psychic sword and slashing it against Blaziken. Blaziken then powered its hand with a powerful black flame and punched its burning hands against Mewtwo’s sword. Mewtwo thought his sword would cut right through Blaziken but instead his sword was destroyed by Blaziken’s black flame. Mewtwo and Blaziken were pushed back.

“What kind of attack is that?” Mewtwo wondered.

His mask was also like a pokedex. Black fire punch, type of attack: mixture of fire and dark, effect: unknown, pokemon technique useable: fire, dark, fighting and any other pokemon that has two arms.

“This fuzor will be an interesting opponent,” Mewtwo said.

Mewtwo fired out dozens of missile towards Blaziken. Blaziken ran over towards Mewtwo dodging the missiles. Just then a missile was about to strike Blaziken, but Blaziken, swiftly, given out a punch destroying the missile. Blaziken then launched out a barrage of punches making dents on Mewtwo’s silver armor. Mewtwo moves back a bit releases the long wires in its armor. The wires start lashing out trying to whip Blaziken. But Blaziken then uses quick attack, which passes the wires and makes a small damage on Mewtwo’s armor. Mewtwo stands on one leg nearly losing balance.

“That’s it time to finish you my old way,” Mewtwo says.

The wires return back in his back. Mewtwo then waves his hand at the raging ocean. The ocean rose and splashed Blaziken down with great offensive water power. Blaziken was down on its knees but still not yet beat.

“You still don’t give up?” Mewtwo asks.

Soon Mewtwo’s metallic hand began to glow bright white and stabbed Blaziken on the chest. Blaziken was sent flying into a tree. Blaziken weakly gets up holding its back.

“Give it up,” Mewtwo says,” you might’ve put a good fight but still no match.”

Soon two sharp metallic wings formed in Mewtwo’s hands. He leaped up into the air and released a powerful blast of wind pushing Blaziken down. Mewtwo still floating in the air smirked and joined his wings together.

“This should finish it,” Mewtwo said.

He began to dart fast towards Blaziken. Blaziken could see the deadly blades about to stab it.

“Blaziken you could do it!” Shade encouraged,” you could do it…brother.”

Blaziken’s eyes widened when he heard what Shade had just said. Blaziken began to get up glowing with a ruby red aura. Mewtwo was getting nearer to stab Blaziken. But Blaziken thrusted his palm towards the sharpened edges of Mewtwo’s blade. When the two attacks collided a great, bright, white light flashed out. It was bright but Shade could still see. Aerodactyl and Ampharos were also conscious when they saw the light. Dr. Aki was also witnessing the fight. When the palm of Blaziken touched the blades Mewtwo was stunned as he was struck back with an unknown force destroying his metallic wings.

“Impossible!” Mewtwo yelled.

Mewtwo flew back and landed on his feet. He didn’t notice but Blaziken charging towards him delivering fir punches of black flame. Mewtwo had no chance of blocking these attacks. Every time he tried to block his armor slowly breaks down. Blaziken was pushing Mewtwo backwards with all his might.

“What kind of power is this?” Mewtwo wondered.

For a final attack Blaziken leaped up and delivered a kick of black flame directly onto Mewtwo’s face. Mewtwo felt a great pain as Blaziken’s burning foot penetrated right through his mask. Mewtwo’s mask fell of his face slowly breaking apart. Mewtwo’s eyes widened as he slowly falls down on his knees and faints. Blaziken just stood above him as the rain slowly poured down on them. Suddenly Blaziken started holding his face in pain and turned into a white silhouette. Blaziken began walking back to Aerodactyl and Ampharos. Then the white light faded separating Blaziken and Absol. Blaziken fell down on his knees while Absol lands on her feet.

“(You’re not bad),” Absol weakly murmured to Blaziken.

“(You’re not bad yourself),” Blaziken weakly smirked.

Blaziken and Absol lay fainted right next to Aerodactyl and Ampharos. Shade quickly went over to the four fallen pokemon as thunder and lightning roared throughout the gloomy sky. The next day Shade has taken out Aerodactyl to fly out of Mosdeep.

“Dr. Aki thanks for the help,” Shade said.

“Not a problem,” Dr. Aki said,” just be careful and I wish you best of luck for the rest of your journey.”

Shade nods and hops on Aerodactyl. Aerodactyl slowly hovers off the ground and flies above the deep ocean. Shade looks at his pokemon. He pats Aerodactyl on the head and looks at his pokeballs. He sees Ampharos looking around its pokeball all interested. Blaziken does thumbs up to Shade and his newest member Absol just slept lazily on her pokeball. Aerodactyl swiftly flies above the ocean making small waves. But in a cliff nearby Mewtwo, in his armor mode, watches Shade carefully with his deadly blue eyes. Mewtwo then gets a ring in his mask. He sees Akira sitting on a chair.

“Mewtwo you’re now promoted for an assassin I want you to get rid of any body that causes the Black Rayquazas a great deal of trouble especially these two."

A picture of Shade and Grace appears. Mewtwo smirks and logs the message off.

“I’m following you Shade, I’m following you,” Mewtwo said.

Mewtwo swiftly runs above the ocean running after Shade. Now he was chasing Shade through snowy mountains, sandy deserts, rocky trains, steamy jungles, vast oceans, leafy forests, clear plains and in the dark night shadows.

Sorry if the pokemon fushion sounds dull. I don't really want to put anything like an absol's head on Blaziken's body or Absol's legs on Blaziken's body.

Well thanks for the comments here's a preview of the nxt chap. I'm not sure if this one might be a short chap but maybe I'll get more ideas.

Chapter 7
Shade captures the lord of steel

Shade is now standing on top of a cliff near the safari zone. As he passes along he hears a fight. The sound of the fight sounded like two knights fighting. Shade then looks up and sees a cliff covered with trees. Out of the trees come sparks from two combining slashes of two powerful metallic objects. Shade then releases Aerodactyl to see what was going on in the top of the tree covered canyon. As Aerodactyl soared into the sky they witnessed a rock pillar crusted with ore. Down below Shade could see two figures fighting. Shade takes out a telescope and took a closer view at the fight. H saw the legendary Registeel. Registeel was one of the regi trio. Registeel was metal pokemon with red eyes that look like an H when they’re together. He looked at Registeel’s opponent and saw Mewtwo giving Registeel a bating with his own claws.

“Aerodactyl let’s go,” Shade said.

Aerodactyl then slowly hovered, landing to the ground. Meanwhile Registeel is trying to make a hit on Mewtwo. But Mewtwo wasn’t stopping its assault of psychic punches.

“(What kind of metal pokemon are you)?” Registeel wondered,” (I don’t think you were even created from faraway island).”

“It’s because I’m not,” Mewtwo replied.

Mewtwo then rapidly took out a psychic sword from his hip and slashed it onto Registeel. Registeel was pushed backwards to a pine tree. Registeel tries to get up but unfortunately the blade has penetrated through Registeel’s armor. Mewtwo placed back his sword and took out a test tube.

“Now this might hurt a bit,” Mewtwo said.

Mewtwo slowly reached its metallic hand to Registeel’s scratch.

Well here's the next chapter hope you liked it.

Chapter 7
Shade captures the lord of steel

Shade is now standing on top of a cliff near the safari zone. But now Shade has a different appearance. He’s now wearing a small black jacket with a red streak, a black shirt with long sleeves, a red bandana, two golden rings in his wrists and black baggy pants.

But then Mewtwo sensed a presence nearby. He turned around and gets punched in the face by Blaziken’s blazing hand. Registeel looked up to Blaziken.

“(Thanks),” Registeel said.

“(Not a problem),” Blaziken replied.

Registeel then noticed Shade behind Blaziken. Registeel thought Blaziken was a free pokemon.

“(Look out)!” Registeel said in a metallic voice.

Blaziken turned around and just saw Shade.

“(What)?” Blaziken asked.

“(Can’t you see? It’s a human)!” Registeel said.

“(Duh I know I’m his pal),” Blaziken said.

“(Your friend)?” Registeel wondered.

Mewtwo then got up rubbing his jaw and glared at Blaziken.

“For a pokemon who isn’t fused anymore you still could throw a sucker punch,” Mewtwo said.

“And I’ve got a lot more than that so bring it on!” Blaziken cried.

Mewtwo ten hovered up and launched towards Blaziken. Blaziken then retaliated by sending a scorching blast of flame from its mouth. Meanwhile Shade is looking at the slash Mewtwo had made on Registeel’s chest.

“This looks like it could easily be healed,” Shade said.

He placed his palm on Registeel’s scar.

“You might feel a little discomfort,” Shade said.

Soon a black aura channeled around the scar. As soon as the aura strapped itself around the scar it glowed to a white aura. The scar remained to glow white. Shade strapped a cloth around Registeel’s chest.

“There you’ll be fine now,” Shade said,” hey Blaziken how you doing there?”

Blaziken was holding Mewtwo’s head and bashing it several times to a tree.

“(Fair),” Blaziken said.

Just then Mewtwo grabbed Blaziken’s head and gave him a head butt. Blaziken went all dizzy. Mewtwo held his head in pain.

“Blaziken let’s get Mewtwo outta here!” Shade cried.

Blaziken nodded and blazed its foot. Blaziken then launched its foot onto Mewtwo’s back while he wasn’t looking. Mewtwo was sent flying with a burnt tail and slowly faded in the horizon. Shade then recalled Blaziken. Registeel stood up and turned to Shade.

“(Thanks human),” Registeel said.

“No problem,” Shad said,” but you’ll need a lot of help if you wanna survive here.”

“(I’ll manage),” Registeel said entering his pillar.

Shade watched Registeel slowly disappear in the cave. Aerodactyl slowly flies down to Shade.

“(Don’t be too worried about him),” Aerodactyl said,” (I’m almost his age and I know that he’ll be okay).”

“How old is Registeel?” Shade asks.

“(Fifty-one million),” Aerodactyl says.

“So how old are you?” Shade asks.

“(Forty-three thousand),” Aerodactyl said.

“Uh… that young huh?” Aerodactyl said.

Aerodactyl raised its head proudly. Soon Absol popped out of its pokeball interrupting the discussion.

“(I sense danger nearby),” Absol hissed.

“Is it about Registeel?” Shade asked.

“(I do not know but I just sense danger),” Absol said.

“Well we better move out for a while come on,” Shade said walking away with Aerodactyl returning to his pokeball.

Absol then looked around.

“(Strange I just sensed danger here but now it’s gone),” Absol thought to herself.

“Hey Absol come on!” Shade cried.

Absol then inserted itself back to its pokeball. Shade then moved out. Meanwhile deep in the dark and quiet pillar of Registeel. Registeel enters a wall with brail on it. Registeel then mounted a rare blue ore in the center of the wall. The earth began to quake the wall soon opened. Registeel calmly went in where h entered a tunnel. As he moved along he saw many passages. One of the passages was a way to terra cave. Terra cave was filled with fuming lava and steam, this is where Groudon slept. Then he passed another passage known as marine cave. It was filled with gallons of water and was known to be the place where the oceans connected. This is where Kyogre slept. Soon he reached his destination point, Mirage Island. He slowly tunneled out of the earth entering a beautiful clearing filled with flowers and tall grass.

“(You’re late),” a voice called out.

Registeel turned around to see his two brothers Regirock and Regice, the two other mineral pokemon of Hoenn. Regice was an ice regi made out of sharp icicles. Regirock was a rock regi made out of rough boulders.

“(Why are you late),” Regice asks in a cold voice.

“(I was in a fight with a pokemon),” Registeel answered.

“(What pokemon)?” Regirock asked.

“(I don’t really know he said he wasn’t naturally),” Registeel said.

“(That doesn’t really concern me),” Regice says,” (What concerns me is why you were with a human)?”

“(I wasn’t),” Registeel said.

“(Then explain this cloth strapped around your chest),” Regice says raising its voice.

“(Uh… I could explain),” Registeel grimaced.

“(Explain what)?” Regirock asked,” (You know perfectly it’s not safe because humans are dangerous)!”

“(But this one helped me from the enemy pokemon),” Registeel said.

“(It doesn’t matter),” Regice growled,” (You should know from experience fifteen years ago! Don’t you remember what those humans have done when they controlled Groudon and Kyogre)?”

“(I know but two men can’t represent the whole world)!” Registeel complained.

“(You maybe one of the legends but you don’t know much),” Regirock snarled,” (haven’t you heard? All over the world people are trying to collect very species of pokemon including legends, they just want to use us like what they did to Kyogre, Groudon, Celebi, Lugia and Ho-Ho).”

“(He’s right you know),” Regice said,” (there also have been major reports among the pokemon that most of the legends have been found).”

“(But)…” Registeel said.

“(No buts),” Regirock said,” (now come on we’re late for training).”

Regice and Regirock slowly walked away as Registeel trudged with them wondering if he could see Shade again. Later the next day Shade was off to Foretree city, but then he heard some movement near the bushes. He went to a nearby rattling bush. He reached out for his pokeball, but when he opened the bushes aside he just found Registeel.
“What’re you doing here?” Shade asked.

“(Well when I saw your Blaziken fight like that yesterday I suspected you were a pretty powrful trainer),” Registeel commented.

“I am why?” Shade asked.

“(Well I need some help on my fighting skills),” Registeel said.

“Fine so let’s just give you a small test run,” Shade said grabbing Blaziken’s pokeball.

“(Wait I’m not…)”

“Don’t worry I thought Blaziken how to fight with out my orders,” Shade said,” I’ll tell you what to do while you’re fighting.”

“(Okay, if you say so),” Registeel said.

Blaziken then began with a flamethrower. Registeel panicked not knowing what to do.

“Registeel use rock tomb!” Shade said.

Registeel nodded and threw a hug nearby boulder in front of him. The boulder blocked the burning flame. Blaziken then leaped up to the air and got ready for a mega kick. Registeel went panicking again.

“Registeel block tat with your arms!” Shade ordered.

Registeel just followed what Shade had said. When Blaziken was about to touch Registeel, Registeel slapped Blaziken away with its long metallic arms. Blaziken was pushed back but Blaziken landed safely. Blaziken then went running towards Registeel with great agility.

“Registeel ancient power!” Shade ordered.

Registeel then raised its arms to the sky. Soon rocks nearby started to have a glowing blue aura around them. Registeel then pointed the rocks towards Blaziken. The rocks flew towards Blaziken like missiles. Blaziken dodged and slid through every rock. But then it didn’t notice Registeel running up to him. Registeel then thrusted its hard armor body onto Blaziken’s feathery red body. Blaziken was pushed back to a tree. Registeel raised its hands in glory.

“You managed to think up something,” Shade said,” See you’ll manage perfectly.”

“Great you just made my job a whole lot harder,” a voice called out.

Shade looked up to the trees and saw Mewtwo glaring at them both.

“No matter I can still beat you both,” Mewtwo said.

“You lost to me twice what makes you think you could beat me?” Shade asked.

“Third is the charm,” Mewtwo smirked.

Mewtwo then took out his two psychic swords and leaped up to the air.

“Blaziken go!” Shade ordered.

Blaziken instantly got on his feet and struck Mewtwo’s chest with his burning palm. Mewtwo went backwards a bit and crossed his two swords together. Soon a blue aura surrounded him, recovering him. Mewtwo then placed his two swords back to his hip and released the two wing like blades from his arm. Mewtwo then leaped up to the air and released a blast of air from his wings. Blaziken was trying to hold on but the powerful force began to push him a little.

“(Not so fast)!” Registeel cried.

Mewtwo then stopped the air assault and started moving downwards a bit.

“What’s going on?” Mewtwo yelled.

He then noticed Registeel shine golden yellow. It seems that Mewtwo’s armor was being attracted to Registeel’s body. Mewtwo tried to fly back and resist the static between them both but it was no use Mewtwo was sent right into Registeel’s metal plated body.

“Don’t think this will stop me,” Mewtwo growled.

H then slipped on of his hands off his metallic armor revealing his true purple flesh. Mewtwo then thrusted his palm right into Registeel’s face. His hand released a blast of psychic energy pushing away Registeel and stopping the attraction. Mewtwo quickly slipped is metal hand back on.

“That’ll teach you,” Mewtwo snarled.

But again he sensed something behind him. This time he thrusted his sharp metal hand out. But Blaziken instantly caught his arm. Blaziken then kept a tight grip onto Mewtwo’s arm and started to spin around and around. Now after seven spins Blaziken threw Mewtwo up into the air. Blaziken then spat out a great blast of flame from his beak, while Registeel ordered nearby rocks to clobber Mewtwo. The two attacks combined making a blast of molten rock. The two attacks sent Mewtwo flying right out of the horizon.
Blaziken gave Shade a high five. Shade then let his hand out to Registeel waiting for a high five. Registeel didn’t really know what to do but it felt like something good. So he clapped his hand onto Shade’s for a high five. But as the two hands joined the clouds began to darken blocking the sun. Thunder and lightning struck out of nowhere. Rain began to heavily pour down and the wind began to rage.

“(We thought you would do something like this),” a voice called out.

Shade and Registeel looked up. They saw Regirock and Regice on top of a cliff.

“(Brothers I was)…” Registeel murmured.

“(You’re with a human and we cannot allow this),” Regirock said,” (We have to move you to more remote part of the region).”

Suddenly Regirock raised his rocky arms. Soon a great wall of rocks divided Registeel and Shade from each other.

“You can’t do this to us,” Shade said.

“(Don’t tell us what we can do and what we can’t do),” Regice said,” (We are the mineral legends of Hoenn and we obey no human).”

Regice and Regirock hopped of the cliff and faced Shade and Blaziken. Regirock then began to run up to Shade. Regirock’s boulder legs splited some of the soft crust of the earth. Regirock then thrusted its boulder made hands towards Shade. But Blaziken blocked the way taking the hit. Blaziken’s was struck on the chest and his back was slammed onto a tree.

“(Is…that all you’ve got)?” Blaziken weakly asked getting up.

“(No we’ve got much more),” Regice replied.

Regice then stretched its cold, icy arms on Blaziken’s neck. Regice got ready to fire an icicle spear from his other arm. But Blaziken released a blast of flame melting Regice’s arm. Regice hollered in pain as his right arm slowly melted to water. Blaziken was kneeling down coughing. Shade rushed over to Blaziken.

“Hey you okay?” Shade asked.

Soon Regice’s arm froze back into a full iced arm. Regirock and Regice slowly walked up to the two. Registeel managed to break a small part of the wall he was trapped in. But he was helpless because he can’t do anything to save Shade.

“Why can’t you just let Registeel choose what he wants?” Shade asked,” He’s a mineral pokemon of Hoenn too so you can’t tell him to do what ever you want!”

“(Oh yes we can we are the mineral pokemon of Hoenn and if we choose Registeel to stop seeing you he listens to us),” Regice snarls,” (We have the authority to say if he has to stay).”

Regice and Regirock were about to pound the living daylights out of Shade and Blaziken but then a shinning golden light from the darkened sky appeared. Thunder and lightning began to slowly fade. The wind lowered their voices and the darkened clouds began to circle around the light. Out of the light the two legendary dragons, Latios and Latias appeared. Latias was a female red and white psychic dragon, who had a blue triangle marked on her chest. Latias was her brother. He was another psychic dragon but colored blue, has red triangle marked on his chest and was a bit bigger.

“(This boy has proven that not all humans are evil),” Latios roared.

“(He has shown great courage for sticking up for Registeel),” Latias gently said.

“(You cannot choose for Registeel what he wants to do),” Latios says;” (Only he could choose his destination).”

“(We do not care),” Regice replies,” (He listens to us and that’s all to it)!”

Regice started powering for an ice beam and Regirock started powering up for an ancient power attack. The two Altomare dragons just floated in the air as the pokemon were getting ready to attack. Registeel saw this and instantly broke through the wall.

“(STOP)!!!” Registeel cried.

Regirock and Regice turned around and saw Registeel out of the wall. Registeel’s hands began to glow crystal blue. It then raised its arms in the sky then lowered it. Regirock and Regice ad no idea on what he was up to. Then they looked up to the sky. Three metal made meteors burning with a blaze have descended from the sky and struck his two brothers. The meteors greatly affected them both. After seeing the attack Registeel looked at his hands.

“(I did that)?” Registeel asked.

Shade and Blaziken nodded. Regirock and Regice weakly got up growling.

“(It looks like Registeel’s decision is made I’ll now teleport both to your ruins),” Latios said.

Regirock and Regice slowly began to fad away turning to small glittering sparkles. Registeel sadly looked at Shade.

“(I guess this is goodbye now),” Registeel sadly said,” (Maybe we might meet on the road again sometime).”

“(What do you mean)?” Latias asked.

“(You’re teleporting me back right)?” Registeel asked.

“(It’s your decision),” Latios said,” (Do you wish to return home or stay with your friend).”

Registeel looked at his old temple. He then began to glow golden yellow again. A pokeball from Shade’s belt flew right into Registeel’s hand. Latios and Latias understood. Soon they descended back to the sky. The light soon closed, the dark clouds slowly faded as the sun touched all of Hoenn again. Shade recalled Blaziken to its pokeball. Registeel slowly walked up to Shade.

“(There seems to be a few people who just arrived and saw me right now),” Registeel said,” (So to not make it look like an accident just toss the pokeball on me ‘k)?”

Shade smirked,” Yeah sure.”

Shade took the pokeball and tapped it onto Registeel’s head. Registeel was slowly engulfed by a red light and was taken inside the pokeball. Shade then took out Aerodactyl and flew off the clear and shining horizon.

Chapter 8
Grace’s part of the story

Now in the city of Goldenrod there was a secret Black Rayquaza organization in the city. The police as been trying to track them down and finally have found their secret base, an old abandoned ware house near the radio tower. The police were trying to get the Black Rayquazas because they have been stealing some items from the department store, labs and the radio tower.

“Give it up we have you surrounded!” the police yelled at the Black Rayquazas.

“Never!” a Sub-leader screamed,” our base has great defenses it would take a hundred trainers to get in here!”

“Sir we see something approaching,” a grunt says.

“Trainers?” the sub-leader asked.

“Yes,”

“How many, a hundred?”

“No,”

“Ninety?”

“No,”

“Seventy?”

“No”

“Forty-five come on just tell me!” the sub leader said.

“One,” the grunt said.

“What let me see!” the sub leader said pushing the grunt aside.

He took the binoculars and saw a trainer on a motorcycle.

“That’s just a biker no worries,” the sub leader said,” No wait isn’t that... grunts get to your posts!”

The trainer on the motorcycle ran on a police car, hopped off and flew in the air with her motorcycle crashing into the old windows of the warehouse. The motorcycle skidded on the rusty old floor. The trainer got off the motorcycle, she took off her helmet revealing her to be Grace, the former head of the Black Rayquazas but she had a different appearance now. Now she has long black hair, a small red top, a small black jacket, some black jeans and two silver rings on her two wrists.

“Grace I should’ve known that you would try and stop our plans after you were demoted!” The sub leader yelled raising his hand in anger.

“Try? Heh I will stop you,” Grace said.

Grace threw a pokeball to the centre of the room, the grunts and the sub leader grabbed their pokeballs and stared at it. But nothing happened. They looked up to Grace who just put her helmet back on and went on her motorcycle.

“Well what’re you waiting for up there? Get her!” the sub leader yelled.

Some self activating lasers appeared from the ceiling pointing to Grace. Grace then took out a small dagger and threw it to a fuse box. The dagger short-circuited the wires stopping the energy from contacting with the lasers.

“I knew I should’ve gone with the one with its own generator,” the sub leader sighed,” Well don’t just stand there get her!”

But before the grunts could even release their pokemon Grace had already left. The sub leader cursed her. Now Grace has raced passed the police going as far as she could from the building. She looked behind her to the building.

“Adios losers,” Grace smirked.

She pressed a button on her motorcycle. Soon the pokeball in the building beeped red and exploded destroying the whole abandoned warehouse and turning it into ashes. When she was far from the destroyed building she took out a pokenav to see her location. A three-D image of the map of Johto appeared. In the pokenav there were a many circles on the map and only a few crosses. Suddenly a red cross appeared in Goldenrod.

“How’d you like that Akira,” Grace smirked,” Soon I’ll be after you.”

She placed her pokenav in her pocket and drove off ahead. She then takes out a silver heart shaped locket from her neck and unlocked it showing the picture of her and Shade. She then gently placed it back in her shirt. She quickly drives into a small nearby stadium. In the parking lot a man with a snazzy blue suit and sunglasses wait for her. Grace then steers her motorcycle skidding on the road right in front of the man.

“You’re late,” the man says.

But Grace ignores him and walks to the building. The man then rushes up to her.

“Okay your next match’s against Ace he’s got flying pokemon and,” the man said.

“Stop right there Jake,” Grace said,” I don’t need any info on the next challenger.”

“What? but he has great skills that only a few managed get through,” Jake said.

But Grace again ignored him and entered a stadium where a great bunch of people were screaming. Grace then enters a red platform while she faces her opponent on the other side.

“OKAY POKEMON FANS HERE ARE THE RULES!” an announcer calls out,” IT’S A SUDDEN DEATH MATCH SO EACH TRAINER WILL CHOOSE ONE POKEMON EACH AND NOW LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!”

“Go Sceptile!” Grace called out sending out Sceptile’s pokeball.

Jake’s mouth opens wide with disappointment.

“Bad move you should’ve known my bio first,” Ace called out.

But Grace just stood their blankly waiting for his pokemon. Ace then threw out a pokeball. A Dodrio comes out squawking. Dodrio was a three headed bird pokemon with three different heads each representing different feelings.

“Alright Dodrio use your… what the?” Ace said.

Before Ace could even finish speaking Sceptile had lashed out three long vines and tangled them up with Dodrio’s necks. Dodrio started choking as Sceptile used its vines to lift Dodrio to the air and smack it to the ground several times. After a few take downs with a vine whip Dodrio instantly fainted. The whole stadium was speechless as Grace left the arena. Jake followed along with him.

“Wow you’re new here and you’ve already beaten the best!” Jake said,” for a rookie you sure could.”

But then Grace grabbed him by the collar.

“I’m not a rookie,” Grace coldly said,” I’ve been in battles tougher than this reject stadium.”

“So I’m guessing you quit?” Jake murmured as he was still being held by the collar.

“Yes,” Grace said pushing him down.

Grace slowly walked away out of the stadium and went to her motorcycle. Jake tried to catch up with her.

“Hey remember you will have to find other talent seekers!” Jake shouted,” and they pay less then me!”

“Why do I have to be paid when I’ve go these?” Grace asked searching through her bag on her motorcycle.

She then takes out a great giant ruby bigger than her fist. Jake took out his shades wide eyed and so was his mouth. He stared at the enormous jewel. Grace placed it back in her bag put on her helmet and went away.

“I wonder where Grace found that,” Jake wondered.

Now on the earthy road Grace now begins to wonder what she should do.

“This sucks,” Grace said to herself,” there aren’t any real trainers in the outside world and one of my only talents is pokemon battling.”

Just then she heard a faint cry from the distance. She raced ahead to see what was happening. Now further three beginner trainers (If you’re wondering on how they look imagine the picnicker trainers) were having a rough time with a small bike gang. There was a boy with a Cyndaquil, a girl with a Chikorita and a boy with a Totodile. Cyndaquil looked like a yellow mouse wit flames in its back, Totodile was a small blue crocodile and Chikorita was a small grass type with a leaf on its head. They were fighting three bikers who had a Nidoking, Weezing and Crobat. Weezing was a poison pokemon which looked like two floating purple heads. Crobat was purple bat pokemon and the evolution of Golbat.

“Chikorita vine whip!” the girl cried.

Chikorita lashed out two long vines around Nidoking’s arms. Chikorita was trying to take Nidoking down but Nidoking just resisted.

“Is that all you’ve got?” the biker asked,” Nidoking tackle attack!”

Nidoking then rushed towards Chikorita slamming its horn onto Chikorita’s cheek. Chikorita was sent flying backwards to its trainer.

“Totodile use your crunch attack!” a boy ordered.

Totodile leaped up into the air about to take a bite out of Weezing but Weezing sent out a cloud of poison directly at Totodile’s jaws. Totodile screeched as it exhaled a cloud of poison.

“Cyndaquil try and use your flamethrower!” another boy called out.

Cyndaquil’s flames on its back began to burn harder. Cyndaquil then released a blast of fire from its mouth at Golbat.

“Heh Crobat use sludge bomb!” a biker called.

Crobat then spat out a heavy spear of sludge at the flame. The two attacks collided creating an explosion. Cyndaquil was blinded by the smoke but Crobat sensed Cyndaquil and charged right at it. After the smoke had cleared Cyndaquil lay weakly on the ground leaning against Chikorita and Totodile. Weezing, Nidoking and Crobat menacingly went a few steps towards the pokemon.

“Hey why don’t you pick on somebody your own size,” a voice calls out.

They turn around and see Grace on her motorcycle taking of her helmet.

“Hey cool a babe get her!” a biker said.

Weezing, Nidoking and Crobat rushed towards her without thinking. She smirked and took out Sceptile. But still the three poison types continued their assault. Sceptile then took out her vines from her back and grabbed Weezing with it. Luckily Weezing wasn’t that heavy so the vines easily grabbed it.

“Weezing use your self-destruct attack!” a biker called out.

Weezing then closed its eyes and began to glow white. Sceptile let go of Weezing and gave it a kick tossing it to Crobat. Crobat began to flap its wings in panic. When the two pokemon touched each other an explosion came out. Nidoking made a jump dodging the explosion. Nidoking then got on its two feet and tried to grab Sceptile. When Nidoking was about to grab Sceptile, Sceptile disappeared.

“Sceptile show your earthquake attack!” Grace commanded.

Sceptile then leaped up high into the air and slammed back to the ground making the earth tremble. Nidoking walked a few steps back but soon the rocky earth beneath it began to crumble splitting the rocks and making Nidoking hover.

“Sceptile leaf blade!” Grace commanded.

Sceptile rushed over to Nidoking with a glowing tail. Nidoking went in panic as Sceptile got nearer. Sceptile had passed Nidoking and by the time Nidoking touched the ground it got on its knees and laid motionless on the ground. The bikers recalled their pokemon.

“You haven’t hard the last of us!” a biker called out.

The bikers started their engines and went away. Grace walked up to the three trainers.

“Are you okay?” Grace asked.

“Yeah we’ll be okay,” a boy replied.

“What were you thinking of fighting those thugs?” Grace asked.

“We didn’t we just entered this bicycle pass and they started chasing us,” a girl said.

“Whatever but now if you excuse me I have to be on my way,” Grace said as she rode off leaving smoke behind.

As Grace went ahead she started thinking about what she did.

“What’s happening to me?” Grace wondered,” I’m becoming soft. I can’t I have to stay mean if I’m going to show those Black Rayquazas no mercy.”

Now later on in the city of Ecruteak rain heavily pours as lightning and thunder roars. The winds roaring sounds rage like a Gyarados. Grace stands all wet as she faces another Black Rayquaza. A woman wearing white wizard outfit with stars in her pants, pants heavily as her Alakazam gets a brutal bating out From Sceptile.

“Sceptile finish it,” Grace ordered.

Sceptile started spinning round and round several times. Alakazam too weak to even look stands on one knee panting. Sceptile spins one last round and thrusts her fist onto Alakazam’s chin. Alakazam falls down on the brick layered ground. The trainer starts walking back as Sceptile and Grace coldly stare at her.

“Sceptile you know what to do,” Grace says.

“Now wait a minute you can’t do this,” the trainer says as she walks back.

“Oh you are so wrong I can do this,” Grace answers.

Sceptile then runs roaring with the thunder as her feet thrusts right to the ground breaking the bricks apart. Sceptile then thrusts its fist right into the trainer’s chest. The trainer feels a great pain stream through her body as her chest gets punched and her back gets slammed into a nearby tree. The trainer falls down motionless with drops of blood in her nose. Grace recalls Sceptile and her fainted Alakazam and walks up to the fallen trainer.

“I’m sorry,” Grace coldly says as she tosses Alakazam’s pokeball right next to her.

Grace looks up and whistles. Soon a flock of Murkrows appeared. Murkrow was a small black bird pokemon with heads shaped a bit like hats.

“You know where to take her,” Grace said to the Murkrows.

The Murkrows take a long cloth and gently placed her and Alakazam in it. The Murkrows soon flew away to the Sky Pillar. Grace watches the Murkrows fly away and soon gets on her Motorcycle. As the silver moon glows right out of the dark clouds Grace Takes a good look at shining moon. She then starts hearing a melody in her mind which reminds her about her past.

“Memories,” Grace said to herself.

Grace then takes out a silver heart shaped locket with her and Shade in it. Ironically Shade remembers the same thing as he looks into a golden heart shaped locket with a picture of him and Grace in it. He’s now in Foretree, night time, witnessing a fireworks display their beautiful colors. They both think about their past years ago when they were just thirteen.
It was a countdown to New Year in the world. The Black Rayquazas also celebrated this holiday. There were a few people dancing in a square. But Grace and Shade sit away from each other blushing all shy. Shade was wearing a tuxedo while Grace was wearing a beautiful dress. Just then an old man with a bald head approaches the two of them and makes them sit together. The old man was known as Eli a very respected member of the Black Rayquazas.

“Why don’t you two dance?” Eli asks.

“Well?” Grace blushes as she looks at Shade.

Shade as well blushes as he scratches his head.

“Come on,” Eli says cheerfully as he places Shade’s and Grace’s hands together.

Grace then looks at Shade while Shade looks back at her. They both smile get up and start to dance. Eli tells the DJ to turn the music into the slow dancing music. Grace and Shade don’t know what was going on but they enjoy themselves dancing together as the love music streams to their minds which made them never forget this night. It was five minutes till midnight. Shade and Grace walk to the highest peak of the Sky Pillar. They both sit down and watch the shining moon hover above the ocean.

“I hope we could relive this fantasy again,” Grace says.

“Me to,” Shade softly says.

Now down below it was just few seconds until the New Year. Everybody was watching the clock waiting for it to reach midnight. Just then Eli walked up to the young couple with a camera.

“You want a picture?” Eli asks.

“Sure,” Shade says.

Eli focuses the camera’s eye onto the two young lovers. Shade was sitting down with his arm on Grace’s shoulder and his hand holding her hand. Grace’s head was lying on Shade’s shoulder as her hand holds Shade’s hand. It was five seconds till New Year. Everybody was doing a countdown.

“FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE, HAPPY NEW YEAR!” Everybody shouted as fireworks and confetti sprang out.

Eli pressed the button on the camera and got the photograph. The photograph had Grace and Shade in it with a background of exploding fireworks. Grace and Shade turn around to see a great scene of fireworks brighten the sky. Just then a great blast of firework emerged in front of them. As it blasted it formed a shape of a heart as glittering pink petals gently floated downwards. Soon Grace’s flashback memory faded. She grinned, closed her locket and rode off on her motorcycle. While she was riding her mind continued to ramble about the past.

“I hope we will relive this fantasy again,” Grace said to herself.

Meanwhile in Foretree Shade thinks about the same thing.

“I promise you Grace the fantasy will be reborn,” Shade said as he entered a pokemon center.

The night sky is now filled with great warmth coming from the hearts of two young lovers.

Chapter 9
A deception returns

In the safari zone, in Hoenn, two trainers are facing each other. There was a girl with brown hair, a red cap, black leather top, a small red jacket, slim black jeans and black wrist bands. A Vulpix sits on her shoulder. The other was a boy with messy blue hair, a green polo, and baggy violet pants.

“Are ya ready to rock Ami?” the boy asks.

“Whenever you are Havik,” Ami says.

“Well get ready,” Havik said,” I choose you Skamory!”

Havik releases a blackish purple pokeball with two yellow strips on the side. The out comes a fierce Skamory. Skamory was a big metallic bird with red feathers.

“Cool but nothing Vulpix can’t handle,” Ami says.

Vulpix pounces off her shoulder to face Skamory. Skamory and Vulpix stare at each other. Vulpix stands firmly as it growls at Skamory. Skamory just smirks as it metal body reflects Vulpix.

“I still see you’re playing with your little fox,” Havik mocks.

“Vulpix has more strength than you think,” Ami says.

“We’ll just see,” Havik replies.

The two pokemon continue to glare at each other. As the sun came out of the clouds a great flash shined on Skamory’s body blinding Vulpix for a while. Then with great agility Skamory went for the first strike and swiped Vulpix with its razor wings. Vulpix was pushed back a bit.

“Hey no fair the sun was in Vulpix’s eyes,” Ami complains.

“That’s the whole point,” Havik says.

“Anyways Vulpix confuse ray!” Ami orders.

Vulpix’s eyes shined golden as it opened its mouth and released a shining sphere. Skamory was then struck by the sphere. Its eyes rolled going all dizzy. It began to see three Vulpix.

“Skamory don’t let your guard down iron defense!” Havik cried.

Skamory was going all dizzy moving around. Vulpix began to charge towards Skamory. Skamory then got back to its senses and began to glow. Its metal body hardened as it shined like silver. Vulpix then struck its head on Skamory’s stomach. But Vulpix was pushed back because Skamory’s body was too strong.

“Skamory hyper beam now!” Havik orders.

Skamory’s mouth widens and releases a beam of colorful energy. The attack was speeding right towards Vulpix.

“Vulpix protect!” Ami cries.

Vulpix closes its eyes as the beam devours Vulpix.

“That should’ve finished it,” Havik grins.

But soon his smile fades as the beam soon discharges. Vulpix was still on its feet and was still strong. Havik tightened his fist.

“Skamory drill peck attack!” Havik orders

But Skamory just stood there panting. It panted heavily as sparks surged around its whole body. Skamory was trying to recharge from the attack.

“Okay Vulpix now’s our chance flamethrower!” Ami ordered.

Vulpix’s mouth began to have a glowing sphere in its mouth absorbing heat. Soon Vulpix released a blast of flames from the sphere. Skamory was soon struck down because its metal body couldn’t stand the intense heat that was being sprayed. Havik calmly recalled Skamory.

“Well it looks like my little fox has beaten your mean, metal flying machine,” Ami says.

“That was just a fluke,” Havik said,” Here’s the real fighter.”

Havik took out pokeball and kissed it. He tossed the pokeball out into the air and released a fierce Zangoose to the field.

“Damn a Zangoose,” Ami said.

She instantly took out her pokedex to scan info on Zangoose. “Zangoose the mongoose pokemon. A fierce creature with razor sharp claws and is possibly considered as one of the deadliest pokemon in the world.”

“Zangoose is powerful when wild,” Havik said,” wait until you see what a terribly well trained one could do.”

Zangoose quickly leaped in the sky raising its claws. A quick unseen swipe was made. As Zangoose passed Vulpix it kneeled down as Vulpix just stared blankly. A gentle breeze blew in and Vulpix quickly fell on the ground.

“Vulpix!” Ami cried as she rushed over to Vulpix.

Zangoose leaped away and landed next to its owner.

“Don’t take these kind of pokemon for granted,” Havik said,” It takes real skill to defeat a powerful opponent such as myself and Zangoose.”

“Powerful huh?” Ami thought,” I’ll show him powerful.”

She grabbed a pokeball and tossed it to the sun. Soon a Sneviper slithered to the ground. Sneviper quietly hissed at Zangoose.

“So you wanna use Zangoose’s main enemy?” Havik asks,” interesting. Zangoose crush claw!”

“Poison tail Sneviper!” Ami ordered.

Zangoose’s claws quickly glowed as Sneviper’s blade like tail followed. Sneviper then thrusted its tail towards Zangoose. But Zangoose quickly grabbed Sneviper’s tail and pulled it towards him. Zangoose then was about to dig its claws into Sneviper’s eyes. But Sneviper quickly dodged and landed right behind Zangoose. The two enemy pokemon glared at each other. They both swiped their blades together. As Sneviper’s stinging tail struck Zangoose’s crazy claws an explosion occurred beside them. The two trainers instantly retrieved their pokemon.

“What the heck was that?” Havik wondered.

“I don’t know but will ya look at that,” Ami says.

It front of them stood a giant metal door with dragon markings on them. In the sides were two blue flame lit torches. The heavy door slowly opened as dust slowly came out.

“Go in?” Ami asks.

“After you,” Havik says.

Ami quietly goes in as Havik follows. As they go in they enter a dark torch filled cave. Soon they enter two different paths.

“I’ll go this way while you go the other way,” Havik points.

“I think we shouldn’t separate,” Ami says.

“We’re in a strange cave and now it’s the time for you to act like a chicken?” Havik says.

“Oh fine,” Ami says going to one path.

“They all fall for the Havik charm,” Havik grins.

Suddenly Ami threw a stone in head. Havik rubs his head and enters the other cave. Later Havik moves around wandering the cave. As he goes on he notices a figure in front of him. His eyes open wide with shock. Meanwhile in the other part Ami has discovered a small laboratory. As she goes in she sees all the mechanical gadgets sparking with colorful lights. A stream of lava flows through the side. A large banner hangs high on top. It had the picture of the Black Rayquaza tattoo.

“You shouldn’t be in here,” a voice says.

Ami turns around to see a guy in a black knight costume. But the helmet was in the form of a dragon skull.

“Who the heck are you?” Ami asks.

“You’ve seen too much,” the Black knight says.

“Seen what?” Ami asks.

But the black knight just flicks his fingers. Suddenly an Aggron sneaks up behind her and slashes his claws on her back. She instantly felt the sharp pain in her back. She falls to her knees and faints. The black knight walks up to her and gives a gentle kick to see if she’s conscious. Her eyes were a bit opened but soon her eyes closed and completely blacked out.

“Hello?” a voice calls out,” are you okay?”

Ami’s eyes weakly open as she sees Shade above her. She gets up in a startle. She sees it was already night. She was right next in the bottom of a waterfall.

“Where am I?” Ami asks.

“You’re near the lab near Foretree,” Shade explains,” I found you fainted on the shore so I helped you a bit, by the way the name’s Shade.”

Thanks the name’s Ami, ouch!” Ami cries holding her back.

“What’s wrong?” Shade asks.

“An Aggron attacked me,” Ami says.

“Turn around I’ll cure you,” Shade said.

She turned around taking showing her back. It had three bloody slashes on it. Shade scratched his chin.

“It’s still fresh,” Shade says,” but I think I could cure it.”

Shade takes off his right glove and folds his right sleeve, which revealed his tattoo. He gently places his palm on her back. A shining blue aura surrounds both the scars and his hand. The scars slowly closed itself.

“There nothing to it,” Shade says.

“Thanks,” Ami says rubbing her back,” I don’t suppose you could help me as well?”

“Sure what’s the problem?” Shade asks.

“Well…” Ami says.

But she was soon interrupted by a flash of light shining on them. The wind began to rage. Three Flygons were hovering above them as a Magnemite flashed at them.

“We’ve found you!” a rider said,” Surrender now or we’ll have to take you by force!”

“First they dump me in the river and now they’re after me?” Ami wonders,” What’s wrong with them.”

“F**king bounty hunters,” Shade murmurs.

Shade instantly grabs Ami’s collar and throws her into the sky.

“What’re you doing?!” Ami screams.

But Shade ignores her and jumps as well. He tosses a pokeball below him releasing Aerodactyl. Shade safely lands on Aerodactyl but Ami falls on her face.

“Hold on!” Shade says,” Aerodactyl use your extreme speed now!”

Aerodactyl nods and quickly flew at a crazy speed. The Flygons buzzed towards them trying to keep track on Aerodactyl. On Aerodactyl Shade looks back and sees the bounty hunters coming closer. Ami, next to Shade, holds on for dear life on Aerodactyl. Shade then turns around to face the Flygons.

“What the hell are you doing!!!?” Ami screams.

“Fighting back,” Shade replies.

He crosses his arms and soon burns up his hands to reveal his black flame. Ami pants heavily as she sees abnormal powers coming from Shade. Shade then blasts three shadow fireballs at the Flygon troops. Two of them quickly dodge but on got hit by all three and unfortunately lands in the water.

“Come on we’re getting closer!” the leader screamed.

“Aerodactyl turn around!” Shade commands.

Ami’s eyes open wide with fear and confusion.

“Are you really gonna listen to this nut?” Ami asks Aerodactyl.

Aerodactyl replies by turning around. Ami sweat drops on what’s happening. The riders then think that Shade was giving up.

“Alright halt!” the leader said.

The Flygon’s then try to make a halt but they were going at such a powerful speed that they had hard time trying to slow down. There wings didn’t have enough strength to flap back.

“Okay now’s our chance!” Shade said,” ice beam attack!”

Aerodactyl’s mouth released a blast of sparkling white and blue energy from its mouth. The Flygon’s soon came to a halt all frozen. They instantly dropped to into the river which carried them to the ocean.

“Whoa that was awesome!” Ami says.

“Thanks,” Shade said,” now do you know were you were attacked?”

“Well I’m not sure but I think we’re here,” Ami says.

“How could you tell?” Shade asks.

“Well the safari zone’s right over there,” Ami pointed.

Shade noticed the safari zone just a few yards from them. They slowly land down near the safari zone. Soon they heard a groan from the bushes. Ami quickly brushed the bushes away and saw Havik lying down.

“Havik what happened?” Ami asks.

“Those guys attacked me while I entered a lab,” Havik moaned as he weakly got up.

“Anyways where’s the cave?” Shade asks.

Ami looks around but couldn’t find anything. It seems that the door had disappeared.

“It was somewhere here!” Ami says,” damn now how’re we gonna find it?”

“This door was it partially made out of metal?” Shade asks.

“Yeah, why?” Ami replies.

“Well I’ve just got the pokemon to find the door,” Shade says.

“Magneton?” Ami asks.

“Uh… no much better,” Shade says tossing a pokeball.

Soon Registeel comes out in a flash. Ami and Havik started to drool and go all big eyed when seeing Registeel. Registeel was a bit disturbed by them.

“Registeel can you find any door with metal in this area?” Shade asks.

“(For you anything),” Registeel answers.

Registeel raised up his palms in front of him. A golden static sparked in his hands. Soon Registeel started to walk a few steps forward to a rocky wall. But when Registeel pointed at the spot there was no sign of any metal.

“Are you sure this’s the spot?” Ami asks.

“(Kid I’m fifty-one million I know this area like the back of my… never mind),” Registeel says.

Registeel then brushes off some of the dirt on the walls. As the dirt was taken off a part of a metal was revealed. Registeel then pushed the metal a bit. The walls slowly opened as the dirt fell off the door.

“This’s it,” Ami says.

“Good work Registeel,” Shade says as he pats Registeel’s back.

Shade quickly recalled Registeel. They were about to enter but Havik stopped them.

“Wait, take these,” Havik says handing over some metallic bracelets,” these are like walkie talkies, just in case we get separated again.”

They each put the bracelet on and went inside. While walking through the deep, dark and torch filled cavern they discussed on what the Black Rayquaza were doing in the cave.

“So what do you think they’re doing in here?” Shade asks.

“Well I think they’re trying to make an earthquake down here,” Ami says.

“Before I was kicked out I heard they were trying to resurrect Groudon,” Havik says.

“That’s strange,” Shade says.

Soon they reached the lab and began to look around. Ami looks at some papers on a rock made desk. Ami then gets perplexed after seeing the papers.

“This’ just weird,” Ami says,” This paper says an Aggron’s best diet food.”

Shade then looks at the machines sparking and some of the different colored liquids in beakers and bottles.

“Wait a minute,” Shade says taking a blue liquid from one of the beakers.

Shade then pours the liquid in his mouth. Ami turns around and freaks.

“What’re you doing!?” Ami screams.

After Shade takes a little taste he coughs, chokes and spits the liquid out. Shade heavily pants.

“Why the heck would you want to drink a chemical?!” Ami yells,” what’re you trying to do kill yourself?”

“This’s what I thought it would be,” Shade said,” this isn’t a chemical this’s blueberry juice!”

“Say what?” Ami asks perplexed.

“And I thought these machines looked funny,” Shade said,” these are just lamps filled with glued knobs!”

“But how could this be?” Ami asks.

Suddenly they hear a gun getting ready to shoot. They turn around and see Havik smirking as he points a gun at Shade.

“Havik what’re you doing?” Ami asks.

“Doing what I should’ve done years ago,” Havik smirks.

Shade calmly stands there. Havik then pulls the trigger. Shade then gets shot in the shoulder. Shade takes a few steps back holding his bleeding shoulder. Shade then looks back, he finds himself standing in the edge of a cliff.

“How could this be?” Shade wondered,” my powers they aren’t working.”

“Take a look at your bracelet,” Havik says.

Shade then takes a close look at his bracelet. It was all red which was pretty normal but when he felt the texture, his eyes widened with horror.

“This bracelet’s made of red Gyarados scales!” Shade said,” But the only one who has red scales is… you’re not Havik!”

“Took ya while to figure that out,” the imposter said.

Soon his form changes into an adult. It was Marik, but with a bit of a different look. Now he has a metallic eye and a cyborg arm.

“Marik, I thought you were dead?” Shade asks.

“You thought but your fire act just burnt me,” Marik says,” now you’re gonna pay for this horrible damage you’ve done to my body.”

“I was wondering why you would try to find Groudon here,” Shade said,” Groudon’s tunnel’s doesn’t go anywhere through here.”

“Finally the Black Rayquaza’s worst enemy is going to be dead,” Marik said.

“So then those guys with the Flygons were after him?” Ami asks,” anyways where’s Havik?”

“That boy?” Marik says,” he’s fine all locked up, but for now I’ll make this nice and quick.”

Shade struggles to remove his bracelet as he holds his shoulder. Shade nearly had done it but before Shade could even finish Marik fired another one and this time shot Shade in the chest. Shade’s eyes widen as he falls off the cliff to the ground and blood slowly flies off his mouth.

“Shade!” Ami screams.

Se tried to grab him but Shade with a blank expression fell off the cliff. Ami then takes one of her pokeballs and faces Marik. Marik puts his gun away.

“So you wanna play ya little mouse?” Marik asks,” let’s see how’ll you survive against us.”

Soon the black knight walks in along with Aggron by his side. Ami started sweat dropping as her muscles tightened.

“You’re totally outnumbered,” Marik grins,” you can’t win alone.”

“Who says she’s fighting alone?” a voice called out.

In the shadows the real Havik appears all bruised holding his shoulder. Havik slowly walks right next to Ami.

“Ready Ami?” Havik asks.

“Whenever you are,” Ami grins.

They both threw their pokeballs in the air. Zangoose and Sneviper rushed out of the balls. Marik just smirks and releases a Magmar. Magmar was an inferno pokemon with a beak, two flames on its head and one on its tail.

“Sneviper mud slap on Magmar and Aggron now!” Ami roars.

Sneviper digs its tail on the earth and blasts a muck of dirt towards Magmar and Aggron. But Magmar instantly blasted a stream of flames. The intense heat of the flames hardened the mud turning it to a flat rock.

“Aggron rock throw!” the black knight ordered.

Aggron grabbed the newly hardened rock and threw it at Sneviper. Sneviper just watched helplessly. But soon Zangoose came between and destroyed the incoming rock attack with its powerful claws. But soon Magmar came on Zangoose and thrusted its burning fist right on Zangoose’s cheek. Zangoose was sent flying back to the walls. Zangoose tried to get up but its back was hurting really badly from the throw. Magmar was charging towards Zangoose. Sneviper tried to stop Magmar with a bite attack but Aggron grabbed Sneviper’s tail and threw her to the other wall.

“Snevpier!” Ami cried.

Aggron turned its attention to Ami. Ami started walking backwards. But Aggron thrusted his fist onto her neck. Ami began to choke as Aggron held a tight grip around her neck.

“Zangoose try and help Ami!” Havik ordered.

Zangoose was busy trying to dodge Magmar’s fire punch attacks. But soon Zangoose’s back began to hurt and he landed on his knees panting. Magmar instantly grabbed Zangoose’s furry tail and tossed Zangoose next to Sneviper. Havik began to hesitate but he grabbed an empty pokeball and tossed it to Aggron. Aggron was soon absorbed by the weak pokeball. Ami instantly fell on her knees panting. Havik ran to Ami then picked her up and went right next to Sneviper and Zangoose before the pokeball he threw began to shake.

“You okay?” Havik asked.

“Yeah,” Ami weakly said.

Soon Aggron busted out of the pokeball and glared at Havik in rage. He looked at the pokeball and stamped on it destroying it. Aggron then snarled at the kids.

“(This was supposed to be a simple assassination),” Aggron angrily said,” (but you kids had to interfere rather then running for your lives. Now I and Magmar will show you what the Black Rayquazas do to people who interfere).”

Magmar made a menacing chuckle and walked right next to Aggron. Meanwhile down below Shade was lying motionless. Shade’s yes weakly opened. He weakly gets on his knees. He slowly pressed his arm on his chest.

“H…h…heal,” Shade weakly said.

But there was no effect. Shade looked at his arm and he noticed he still had the bracelet on.

“Let’s see how you like this!” Shade angrily said.

Shade placed his hand on the bracelet and took a tight grip. Soon a powerful surge of electricity ran throughout his body. Shade felt a great pain flowing through his body. The bracelet’s red color was soon drained out and was slowly being absorbed into Shade’s skin. Shade then looked at his arm. It looked like nothing happened at all. The bracelet fell off as a bit of smoke fumed out. He then looked at his chest and shoulder. The bleeding had ceased and his scars were closing. Suddenly his tattoo began to beep a powerful ruby aura. A crimson surge flowed through his body.

“That feels good,” Shade smirked as his eyes began to glow bloody red.

Back on top Sneviper and Zangoose lay on the ground motionless. Havik was trying to get away from Magmar’s blast of flames. Ami was sweat dropping by the vicious Aggron who walks slowly up to her. Suddenly Aggron’s trainer stopped Aggron. Aggron was confused.

“We’ve wasted too much time on these kids,” the black knight said,” We’ve already completed our mission so I’ll handle this kid personally.”

The Black knight grabbed Ami by her collar and threw hr off the cliff. Ami went screaming as she plummeted to her doom.

“Ami!” Havik cried.

Ami kept her eyes tight shut as she continued to fall. Suddenly a dark figure caught her before she could even touch the ground. When Ami realized she wasn’t falling she opened her eyes and looked up. An Aerodactyl was carrying her and on the Aerodactyl was Shade.

“Shade you’re alive!” Ami joyfully said.

“Of course I am,” Shade said.

As they flew up Aerodactyl let go of Ami as Shade hopped off. Marik was astounded seeing Shade alive.

“You’re alive!” Marik murmured,” how?!”

“You forget Marik the red scale does make us powerless,” Shade explained,” but it could also protect us from death and increase our powers.”

Marik just replied with an angry snarl. Ami quickly recalled Sneviper. Magmar then ignored Havik and turned its attention to Shade. Havik fell on his knees wit relief and recalled Zangoose.

“Well let’s see how well you would do without any tricks,” Marik said.

“Bring it on,” Shade says.

Ami then grabs a pokeball and releases Vulpix. But as Vulpix landed on the warm ground, Vulpix began to flash a white aura. Vulpix grew larger, its tails increased and soon turned into a beautiful Ninetails. Ninetails was a white fox pokemon with nine long tails.

“Cool a Ninetails!” Ami exclaimed as she took out her pokedex.

“Ninetails the fox pokemon,” the pokedex robotically said,” A very elegant pokemon with the power of curses. It’s most signature attack fire spin.”

“But how’d Vulpix evolve?” the black knight wondered,”

A used up firestone was floating beside Ninetails. The elemental stone soon levitated onto Shade’s hand.

“Remember powers increase,” Shade beamed.

“It doesn’t matter anymore!” Marik screamed,” We will destroy you!”

Magmar then leaped up to the air and got ready to deliver a mega punch on Ninetails.

“Aerodactyl ancient power!” Shade ordered.

Aerodactyl closed its wings and as it opened them a barrage of giant boulders with a blue glowing aura struck Magmar directly. Magmar was sent flying to Aggron. But Aggron just pushed Magmar aside.

“Aggron metal claw!” the black knight snarled.

Aggron’s fists began to glow as it was getting ready to strike Aerodactyl.

“Ninetails fire spin!” Ami ordered.

Ninetails then released a hurricane of burning flames from its mouth. Aggron, in the air was caught by surprise and was quickly engulfed by the swirls flame. As the flames started to fade it spat Aggron out onto the black knight. Marik in a horrible rage screamed.

“Eat my new weapon!” Marik yelled.

His metallic eye began to glow a crimson red. Soon he released a laser right at Shade. But Havik came in the way and reflected the laser back at Marik. As soon as Marik was struck by the reflected beam he was sent flying into a pile of boulders.

“How did he do that?” Marik weakly asked,” He can’t be another Black Rayquaza.”

“Well actually I just used a mirror,” Havik smirked.

After Marik heard this he groaned and just lay on the boulders. Ami gives Havik a hug.

“For once your really stupid accessories helped us!” Ami grinned.

“Uh… thanks I guess,” Havik blushed.

“Well I gotta get going,” Shade said hopping on Aerodactyl.

“Hey Shade why don’t ya join us?” Ami asked.

“Thanks but no thanks,” Shade said,” but I’ve got something to take care of maybe we could meet again.”

“Sure,” Ami says,” but next time we meet I and Havik would like to have a tag battle against ya.”

“Well better start training cause I’m not that easy to beat,” Shade grinned as Aerodactyl started to hover,” alright let’s get going.”

Aerodactyl nodded and dived down the cliff and flew deep into the catacombs of the cavern, passing stalactites and stalagmites, crossing rivers of lava until they managed to reach their destination, the rocky cliffs of victory road.

Hmm.....
Well, the title of the story is very appealing, the banner in your sig is also very appealing, so I decided to check the story out...
Spelling, grammar, descripition....that's okay....battle scenes are pretty good....
Overall, I must say it's a very good story with a very original plot, good characters, not the typical Trainer fic.
My Rating: (out of 10) 9/10! Not bad!!!

Pretty good job so far. Do take note of some spelling mistakes, though. Also, Rukario as Anubis? i do not know about how that. Also, do you not think that it would seem a tad blasphemous? Other than that, everything seems fine, and I wait for your next chappie. :)

Chapter 10
The battle of the end starts

Now in the Black Rayquaza tower some machine gun shots shoot from the tower. Grace moves around, with giant gauntlets on her hands, dodging the shots as Voltorbs pop from the ground using self-destruct. Akira watches frustratingly on his throne as he watches Grace quickly dodges the bullets in his screen.

“How’d this happen again?” Akira asked the sub leader.

“Well…” the sub leader mumbled.

He soon gets a flashback of what happened. He was testing this new teleportation device he made. While he was fiddling with it he managed to make it work. Meanwhile in Johto Grace laughs menacingly as she destroys the final base of the Johto Black Rayquaza. She accidentally falls in the portal the sub leader made and she was soon teleported into the base.

“Next time don’t fiddle with very expensive and hi-tech equipment,” Akira angrily point to the sub leader.

Meanwhile outside Grace releases Tyranitar out of the field. Tyranitar roars out loud as his voice echoes out through the whole building.

“Tyranitar hyper beam!” Grace orders.

Tyranitar opens its jaws and releases a blast of energy to an iron made tower. The tower soon collapses down to the ground as some of the grunts fall down. Suddenly a general comes out with three grunts. The general had a metal gas mask with a trench coat, black gloves and a general hat. Grace turns around to see the grunts and general.

“Kurahk what a pleasant surprise,” Grace says,” Tyranitar sludge bomb!”

Tyranitar the quickly turns around and releases a giant sphere of acid. Kurahk quickly dodges but the two grunts get blasted by the attack. Kurahk then releases a Scizor from a dark blue pokeball with two yellow strips on the side. Scizor was a red metal/bug pokemon with pincers that look like heads.

“Scizor destroy them,” Kurahk said as he exhaled in his gas mask.

Scizor quickly buzzed in the air with quick speed. Tyranitar then released a blast of flames from its mouth. But Scizor was just too rapidly around the air dodging the stream of flames. Scizor then thrusted its shoulder right on Tyranitar’s chest, pushing Tyranitar to the wall. Scizor then turned around to face Grace. But Tyranitar directly got up and pounced on Scizor. Tyranitar gave Scizor a tight bear hug. But Scizor slowly jumped and body slammed Tyranitar with its back.

“Not bad,” Grace said,” if you have no intention in winning.”

“Is that the best comment you’ve got?” Kurahk asked.

Then from behind Scizor grabbed a hold of Grace’s neck. Scizor started to strangle her with its pincers. Grace began to breathe for air as she coughs. Grace then places her hands on Scizor’s pincer. Soon she blazes her hand with the black flames. Scizor then let go of her as its hand burns. Grace kneels coughing and instantly recalls Tyranitar. Then she looks above her and sees Kurahk. Soon two blades appear out of his hands.

“Your head will be my asset to trapping Shade,” Kurahk said pointing his blade on her neck.

Kurahk then razed his blade and was about to thrust it onto Grace’s head. But Grace instantly blocks with her two gauntlets. Kurahk then started digging his blades onto Grace, but luckily Grace managed to block every strike.

“Tell me,” Kurahk said,” why do you go against us?”

“I was going to make a difference in this world until I was decommissioned,” Grace said,” I won’t let this world fall into any scum who wants to just have revenge on this world.”

As Kurahk heard this he slashed the gauntlets from his blades and quickly grabs Grace by the neck and puts away his swords.

“You think Akira’s trying to have revenge,” Kurahk says,” if you look at yourself you’re actually the same as he is.”

Kurahk then threw Grace on top of one of the walls. Grace then rolled near to the edge of the other side of the wall where she could’ve fell of the tower and the island. Soon Kurahk jumped on the building. Grace slowly got up and got into a defensive position.

“It’s no use,” Kurahk said as he slowly walked up to her,” prepare to die.”

Kurahk then thrusted his fist towards Grace, Grace tried to block with her gauntlets, but before she could fully block his fist went through a gap between her gauntlets and struck her face. She was sent falling down to her doom.

“It’s over,” Kurahk said,” You’re no longer one of us.”

As Grace fell down in a rapid speed she slowly blacked out. Later that night Grace slowly woke up on a beach near a fire.

“What happened?” Grace wondered.

“You were falling from the tower,” a familiar voice said.

Grace turned around and saw Shade holding her gauntlets.

“Very interesting that you could transform a large motorcycle into two pairs of gauntlets,” Shade said with interest.

“Yeah well I managed to… wait a minute,” Grace said,” what happened?”

“Didn’t I answer that?” Shade asked.

“No after that,” Grace replied.

“Well after I came from the sky the tower was soon shielded with the emerald shield,” Shade said,” since you weren’t able to defeat Kurahk I decided to go after their bases instead.”

“Well I think the nearest one they’ve got is in Pacifidog,” Grace said,” but I also heard that Pacifidog is being run by a Black Rayquaza, so I’m sure that there are some grunts there.”

“What about the people?” Shade asked.

“They’re a bit like slaves,” Grace said,” Anyways we’ve got capture the mayor of Pacifidog and I’ve got a plan.”

The next day Grace and Shade enter the shores of Pacifidog. They’re hiding behind a boulder because there are some guards who’ll want to check them.

“Okay you know the plan?” Grace asks.

“Yeah,” Shade answers,” this’ll be like old times.”

Shade then gets out of the boulder and walks up to the entrance. A guard then stops him from entering the city.

“We’ll need to check you,” the guard says.

The two guards check around Shade’s body to see if he has any guns, drug money, etc.

“Now we’ll need to see your pokemon,” the guard says.

Shade then takes out Blaziken. A guard was about to touch Blaziken’s legs, but Blaziken quickly got a hold of the guards hand and threw him on top of the other guard.

“Blaziken now!” Shade ordered.

Blaziken then blazed its wrists with a brand of flames and released a powerful blast of fire from its mouth. The doors soon exploded. As soon as Grace heard this she quickly ran in while her identity was concealed by the smoke. Shade then quickly ran in with Blaziken and held his other pokeballs. Soon other guards began to check the entrance. Shade quickly hid behind an abandoned warehouse and released his pokemon.

“Alright Blaziken knows how to fight well without orders which of you can’t?” Shade asked.

Registeel, Ampharos and Aerodactyl raised their hands.

“Alright Absol go with Blaziken and get rid of any guards and don’t separate,” Shade ordered.

Blaziken and Absol nodded and left.

“Okay you three come with me,” Shade said,” we have to stick together so you can hear what I’m gonna tell you guys.”

The three agreed and followed Shade. Back in the gates the grunt was helping the guards up while the other was extinguishing the flames Blaziken had made.

“What happened?” the grunt asked.

“A kid came in and attacked us,” a guard said rubbing his head.

“Looking for us?” Shade called out.

“That’s the kid!” the guard shouted,” Get him!”

The two grunts released a Mightneya and a Hitmonchan.

“Let’s see you go against us,” a grunt snickered.

“I think I’ll do fine,” Shade said.

Aerodactyl soon raised its wings as Registeel and Ampharos came out of a building.

“Aerodactyl sand tomb!” Shade ordered.

Aerodactyl then flapped its wings releasing a powerful blast of air, sand and stone. The Mightneya was instantly caught in the twister of earth and wind. Hitmonchan backed away a bit.

“Hitmonchan ice punch now!” the grunt commanded.

Hitmonchan’s fist began to glow a crystal blue aura. Hitmonchan then struck the sand tomb attack freezing it with Mightneya.

“Aerodactyl wing attack!” Shad commanded.

Aerodactyl the slapped Hitmonchan away with its crusty wings. Soon the grunt took out a phone and called for backup.

“Ampharos thunder wave!” Shade ordered.

Ampharos released a bolt of static energy from its body and struck the grunts down. Suddenly Registeel felt something on the ground that made it vibrate.

“(I sense more pokemon coming master),” Registeel said.

“Just call me Shade,” Shade said,” and try to divide them with earthquake.”

Registeel nodded and placed stamped its foot on the ground sending a wave towards the incoming grunts. Far away the grunts come running towards where they heard the blast. But soon the wave reacted and created a crack separating them. In another part of the city Blaziken is struck by a hydro pump attack and pushed into an old broken looking house. Blaziken slowly gets up from a table he accidentally broke and rubs his head. Soon a Blastoise and a lieutenant, with a whip, comes in with two grunts.
Blastoise was a giant turtle pokemon with a powerful brown shell with two cannons sticking out. He looks around the house and sees a woman that looks like a peasant with two children, a girl and a boy.

“Didn’t we order that all the children get taken to camps while parents to our prisons?” the lieutenant asks,” take these peasants away!”

The grunts come in about to take the children away. But Blaziken comes in throws the two grunts outside the house.

“Didn’t you have enough?” the lieutenant asks,” Blastoise hydro cannon now!”

Blastoise locked onto Blaziken with its cannons, but Blaziken instantly grabs a hold on one of Blastoise’s cannons and sprays a blast of intense burning flames inside. Blastoise unable to take the pressure fell over fainted. As soon as Blaziken gets off Blastoise the lieutenant lashes his whip out and ties it around Blaziken’s arm.

“I’ll show you the meaning of pain,” the lieutenant angrily said keeping a firm grip on his whip.

But soon he was struck on the back with a powerful sharp pain. He lets go of the whip and falls to the floor. Absol behind him smirked as a small strip of blood dripped from its horn.

“(We better keep moving),” Absol suggested.

In the mayor’s office the mayor nervously sits on his chair. His guards just stand blankly while the building shakes a bit from the fight going on outside. A female supervisor comes in. She was wearing a red formal suit with blond hair and blue eyes.

“Sir it seems that a trainer is trying to stop our rule over Pacifidog,” the supervisor said.

“We have to contact Akira or we’ll be doomed!” the mayor nervously says.

When he was about to pick up the phone but then a sudden explosion occurred behind him. Grace slowly walks out of the smoke with a menacing smirk.

“Guards shoot her,” the supervisor said.

But the guards ignored her and pointed their guns at the mayor and supervisor. The mayor and the supervisor were perplexed.

“What’s going on?!” the supervisor yells.

“It seems that all of Pacifidog have decided to lead a revolution against your dictatorship,” Grace smirks.

Suddenly the ceiling walls began to have a few cracks as a few bits of rocks start to fall along with a bit of dust. Then out of the ceiling Mewtwo appears and releases a smokescreen. Grey smoke appeared everywhere as the guard began to cough.

“They’re getting away!” Grace said exiting the room and started chasing the mayor in the rooftops.

As the smoke cleared Mewtwo stood motionless as he was surrounded by the guards. But Mewtwo just gave a blank look and a smirk as he slowly took out his blades. On the roof Grace saw where the mayor entering his limo with his supervisor.

“I hope Shade got rid of those grunts,” Grace soliloquized.

She instantly leaped into the air and landed on top of the mayor’s limo. When they heard the thump on the top of the limo the supervisor kicked the driver out and started to drive mad trying to get Grace off. Nearby Shade and his pokemon have defeated all the grunts and freed all the people from the mayor’s camps and prisons.

“That was rather easy,” Shade smirked as he recalled all his pokemon one by one.

He was about to recall Blaziken but then he saw Mewtwo hopping from building to building and sensed something was wrong. Back in the limo problem Grace hangs on tight for dear life. Suddenly the limo went turning right and left until it struck a building. Grace quickly leaped off the limo as the mayor and supervisor come out of the almost destroyed limo.

“Have mercy I’m just a grunt,” the mayor pleaded.

“I hate being soft,” Grace moaned.

All of a sudden Mewtwo leaped out from a building roof towards Grace. But before Grace was even touched Blaziken pounced on Mewtwo from the sides. Mewtwo then struck his palm on Blaziken’s chest and levitated him.

“So it ends here huh Blaziken?” Mewtwo said in a robotic tone,” prepare yourself for you are about to leave this world.”

But then Grace released Tyranitar into the field and ordered Tyranitar for a crunch attack. Mewtwo did not sense this and his arm was being crunched. Mewtwo hollered in pain as a few sparks flashed from his metallic arm. Mewtwo then slammed his fist on Tyranitar’s spiky head with his other metallic arm. Tyranitar finally let go as she felt a terrible sharp pain in her skull. Mewtwo took a few steps back holding his damaged arm. Mewtwo then angrily charged towards Tyranitar and slammed his metallic tail on Tyranitar’s head. Tyranitar fell back all fainted. Then Mewtwo faced Grace and wrapped his tail around her body.

“I’ll make this quick as I can,” Mewtwo angrily says strangling them both harder,” after I have destroyed you and your, ahem, boyfriend nobody shall oppose us.”

“(Aw shut up)” Blaziken said.

Mewtwo then turned around and saw Blaziken’s foot go right at his face. Mewtwo then released grace as he slammed against an old wooden building. As soon as he crashed through the walls he accidentally pushed over a candle which started to burn the building. Mewtwo angrily got up but suddenly a large heavy plank of wood dropped from the ceiling and landed on his back. He weakly used his powers to get the wooden plank off. But before he could escape the building collapsed all over him.

“He cannot survive that,” Shade says coming out of the shadows,” you okay?”

“Yeah,” Grace panted as she recalled Tyranitar.

“So this’s the dictator from the Black Rayquazas?” Shade asks,” pathetic, I was expecting more from him.”

“Well it looks like he was just playing as a puppet for Akira,” Grace smirked holding her chest.

The grunt angrily pounded the floor cursing them. Later the police came and arrest all the Black Rayquaza. An ambulance also arrived to help the people and the guards Mewtwo nearly killed. Officer Jenny came to thank them.

“Thanks a lot you two,” Officer Jenny said,” we’ve been trying to bust this guy for years but we didn’t have the information. I’m sure the Hoenn council will finally agree to hire a new mayor for the city.”

“No problem,” Grace smiled.

“Yeah no biggie,” Shade said.

“And don’t worry about Mewtwo we’ll keep him locked up as soon as we find him,” Officer Jenny said.

The next day the city was looking a lot better and the people had much brighter futures ahead of them. Grace and Shade instantly took off side by side going to find the next Black Rayquaza base that’s being a major threat to the world. Meanwhile in the Black Rayquaza base Akira angrily pounds the wall over his loss in Pacifidog.

“Darn kids one day I’ll show them,” Akira angrily said.

“You better,” an old voice says behind him.

Akira widened his eyes with shock and horror as he turned around. He saw an old man who had a black robe and had his hood covering his face.

“Master Seth you heard what happened?” Akira sweat dropped as he twitched his fingers.

“I know all progresses,” Master Seth replies,” if you do not complete this mission I’m handing all command to General S and her squad the Diamond Deoxys.”

“Don’t worry master I will succeed,” Akira twitches.

“You better because your faith will be decided by me or those kids if you fail,” Master Seth said as he slowly disappeared.

Meanwhile in an unknown area between the three regions known as Exile Island, the Dark Master Seth sits on his throne as druids float next to him.

“S I have great senses that Akira will fail,” Master Seth says,” that’s why I want you to get the plans ready before he gets destroyed.”

“Yes master,” says a feminine druid,” I won’t fail you.”

The feminine druid had long black hair but her hood was blocking her face, but only a crystal purple sparkle shined her eyes. Meanwhile in Pacifidog two firemen were throwing away some pieces of wood which used to belong to the burnt building. As they lifted a wide piece of wood they saw something sparkle inside the piles of wood. One of them reached his arm out to get it, but before he got it, two mighty slashes reached out. The firemen stood still but soon fell on the ground. Out of the wood Mewtwo arose holding one of his psychic swords and a small shimmering giant pearl.

“It’s pitiful what humans adore,” Mewtwo says,” useless objects.”

Mewtwo then tossed the giant pearl on the ground, which rolled right next to the fireman. Mewtwo then released his metallic wings and flew off leaving a clear trail of psychic blue energy.

Chapter11
An old ally turned to good

In the city of Slateport Shade and Grace are relaxing on the beach. Shade is in his swimsuit under an umbrella while Grace was still busy changing. It was a nice clear sunny day in the beach it seemed that there wasn’t going to be any problems (Yeah right).

“Hey Grace what’s taking you so long?!” Shade called out as he sat under an umbrella.

“I’m almost finished,” Grace called out.

Shade sighed as he watched the people on the beach. He felt a gentle breeze touch his face, sun shining down on him and the people enjoying their time.

“Okay I’m ready,” Grace says.

As Grace comes out Shade tries to imagine how she would look like. But as she comes out she’s wearing her swimsuit along with her small black jacket. Shade blushes a bit as he sees her. Grace then sits down next to Shade and starts working on her pokedex.

“You still looking for enemy bases there?” Shade asks.

“Yeah but It says here that all bases had shut down,” Grace says,” weird.”

“Akira ain't that smart,” Shade says,” I’m not surprised that all those bases were shut down.”

“Yeah you’re probably right,” Grace says,” Hey you wanna go swimming?”

“Yeah sure,” Shade says getting up.

Soon they get up and rush over to the beach. Unaware on top of a building a boy, about the age of seventeen, watches them through his telescope. The boy also has goggles, a brown partly ripped cape covering his mouth, black gloves and an olive green shirt. A Fearow soon flies right on his shoulder. Fearow was a bird pokemon with a long neck, brown feathers, long beak and a really bad temper.

“Soon we’ll have those two kids my friend,” the boy said as he petted the Fearow,” No trainer can escape my bounty hunter skills for I am Razor.”

Razor noticed s monarch butterfly passing by. He swiftly catches it with his hand and crushes it. He puts a small drop of a potion on the dead butterfly and feeds it to Fearow. Down below, in a dark alley, he notices a couple of thugs beating on a school nerd. He swiftly jumps off the building and slides on the gutters. Down below one of the thugs held the school nerd as they took his pokemon.

“Hey give those back!” the nerd cries.

“Or what you’ll report us to the officials?” a thug laughs.

“Let the kid go,” Razor said from behind.

The thug turns around and instantly gets a fist slammed on his nose. The other thug then pushes the nerd away and takes out one of his pokeballs. But then all of a sudden Razor’s Fearow flies onto the thug pecking his head. The thug tries slap the Fearow away but the Fearow just continued.

“Aw I had enough of this I’m getting out of here,” the thug says.

The thug runs away rubbing his head as the other follows holding his black eye. Fearow quickly returned to Razor’s shoulder. Razor picked up the school nerd’s pokeballs and hands it over to the nerd.

“Thanks,” the nerd says.

“No problem,” Razor says,” but be a lot more careful I won’t be here for a long time.”

The nerd nods and quickly exits the alley. Fearow bends over to talk to Razor.

“(You seem to have a soft heart),” Fearow says,” (So why the crap do you continue to work for these pricks)?”

“It’s a compulsory thing Fearow,” Razor says as he continues to pat Fearow,” It’s my life I have no other choice.”

“(But those kids you’re after),” Fearow squawks,” (They have the same mark as you do but they have left those guys).”

“Their case is different,” Razor says,” I would have to pay a certain price if I left. The only way I can escape this curse is if I do a friendly deed. As you know I’ve been doing this a lot of times but my life has a different meaning towards a friendly deed.”

“(I’ve been with you more than three years and there’s still a lot that I don’t know about you),” Fearow says.

“Well I like to keep some stuff private,” Razor says as he walks.

Meanwhile in the Sky Pillar, Mewtwo is facing a horrible consequence.

“Mewtwo for failing a countless number of times on one mission we’ll have to decommission you,” a judge says,” you may have one last free day here but after this day you’ll be exiled from this tower.”

Mewtwo nods and slowly leaves the room.

“What a couple of cheapskates,” Mewtwo says,” Have such stupid reasons, stupid ambitions and stupid bathrooms that they only clean once a year!”

As Mewtwo walks in a corridor some one catches his attention in the halls. It was Eli, a really good friend of Shade and Grace.

“Hey Mewtwo I hear you’re a free spirit,” Eli says.

“Well yes and I’m finally leaving this tower which used to be like hell,” Mewtwo says.

“Well since you’re leaving could you do me a big favor?” Eli asks.

“Anything for you,” Mewtwo says.

“I want you to be Shade’s guardian,” Eli says.

“Okay I may have a few exceptions,” Mewtwo says.

“Please I sense that he’ll have a major problem in the future,” Eli says,” and I need someone to make sure he won’t do anything he’ll regret.”

“Why do you care about him so much?” Mewtwo asks.

“Because he’s whisper, whisper,” Eli said.

“He is!?” Mewtwo says.

“Yes and it’s very important that he passes every trial this world will give him,” Eli says.

“Don’t worry I won’t fail you,” Mewtwo says as he walks along.

Meanwhile in the beach Grace and Shade are happily splashing at each other in the water. Later that night, they got out and went to the pokemon center.

“I haven’t had this much fun with you since the new-year party,” Shade says.

“Yeah,” Grace says,” since we’re together again we could start catching up on old times instead of fighting and talking about it in the battle field.”

“Well how about a walk in the beach?” Shade asks.

In the beach, which was below a carnival on top, Grace and Shade have a walk as they talk about what they would do after this battle against the Black Rayquazas, as well as talking about old days.

“Well do you think you’re ever going to find your parents?” Grace asks.

“I’m not sure Blaziken told me that they died a long time ago,” Shade says,” what about you?”

“Well after this I’m going to probably look for my parents or any other relatives I’ve got,” Grace says.

“You’re lucky that you’ve still got a family,” Shade says,” Ever since I came back to Hoenn I asked anyone if they knew my family name,” Shade says,” I’m not even sure if that’s my family name.”

“Well if it cheers you up I hear there’s something called a time feather,” Grace says,” it’s meant to take who ever holds it anywhere in time. It’s located in one of the Black Rayquaza bases but I don’t really know which one.”

“Well it’s okay I’m kinda used to not knowing,” Shade says.

On top of a building Razor with Fearow watches the two.

“He’s lucky he doesn’t have the curse,” Razor says.

“(Well what exactly is the curse)?” Fearow asks.

Razor then gets a flashback of the curse. He was one of the early trainers who had left the team and unfortunately he was the only one who had the curse placed on him. He was walking in the quiet streets of Saffron. When the moon was full he started to notice something about him. When the moonlight struck any part of his body it soon transformed into solid, hard stone and he would only return to normal form once the sun has risen. Because of this curse he was trapped in a long sleep for a whole night. Back to reality…

“(Whoa that’s kinda annoying especially when you’ve gotten dates),” Fearow says.

“I know in those nights I was meeting up with girls,” Razor says,” but when I turned to stone I left them with a broken heart. So you see if I’m a Black Rayquaza I could still go on dates and not turn to stone, but will still have to be on the job.”

“(That’s understandable I guess),” Fearow squawks.

“Hush now,” Razor says,” It’s time to attack.”

Back on the beach Grace and Shade had something in their minds to say while they were walking.

“Uh Grace I’ve got something to tell you,” Shade says.

“Yeah me to,” Grace says.

“You first,” Shade says.

“No you,” Grace says.

“How about we just say it at the same time?” Shade asks.

“Okay,” Grace says,” in the count of three, one, two three now!”

“I…!” They both said.

But soon they were interrupted by Fearow who shrieked out loud. Razor then jumps in front of them with a menacing smirk. Shade and Grace instantly grabbed their pokemon.

“Well if it isn’t the dynamic duo?” Razor says.

“Razor the cursed fighter, haven’t seen you for a while,” Grace smirks.

“Been a bit busy,” Razor says taking a pokeball.

“I see that you still haven’t solved how to get rid of your curse,” Shade says,” don’t worry we’ll put you out of your misery.”

“Well bring it on!” Razor says tossing a pokeball.

Soon an Arbok comes slithering out of the pokeball, hissing at Shade and Grace. Arbok was a giant purple cobra with strange markings on its chest. Sceptile and Blaziken instantly came out of the pokeballs and landed on the soft sand.

“Arbok poison fang on Sceptile!” Razor orders,” Fearow wing attack on Blaziken now!”

Arbok then lunges itself towards Sceptile trying to take a bite. Sceptile dodges Arbok’s drooling fangs, but Arbok continued to try and strike Sceptile. Fearow flapped its wings in the air striking Blaziken with a powerful blast of wind. Blaziken had a difficult time staying on the ground because he was standing on the sand, plus the sand was slapping his face.

“Blaziken fire spin!” Shade orders.

Blaziken nods and blazes his legs and wrists with a powerful flame. Blaziken then begun to spin rapidly as flames started to cover his body creating a tornado of intense flames. Fearow then flapped its wings harder trying to push the fire spin attack into the ocean. Blaziken was aware of the plan and is trying to hold its ground.

“Fearow sand attack!” Razor orders.

Fearow nods and slowly hovers to the sand. It begins to flap its wings rapidly as a great blast of sand strikes Blaziken’s fire spin attack. The tornado of fire starts to make contact with the sand that was flying towards him. Slowly the fire spin hardens into clear crystal. Inside the crystal Blaziken was trapped and unable to move in the crystal.

“Blaziken flamethrower!” Shade ordered.

Inside the crystal Blaziken’s eyes flashed bright orange. Weak smoke started to slowly puff out of the crystal. A small sphere of blaze slowly formed in Blaziken’s mouth. Very soon a great blast of flames melted its way out of the crystal. Finally Blaziken’s muscles tightened and Blaziken freed himself by destroying the crystal. Meanwhile Arbok was still trying to take a bite out of Sceptile.

“Sceptile stun spore!” Grace ordered.

Sceptile sat down like a dog and started shaking its giant leafy tail. Small yellow spores flew out of its tail and landed themselves on Arbok’s whole body. Arbok was stunned by the spores and was unable to move from paralysis.

“Sceptile iron tail now!” Grace orders.

Sceptile’s tail began to glow a silver color. Sceptile leaped up and was about the slash its tail onto Arbok. But Arbok soon moved a bit and quickly discarded its skin, making an exact replica of itself, but it was made of Arbok’s skin. Sceptile lunged down and smashed the Arbok skin and quickly turned around and slapped Arbok with its tail.

“You guys are good,” Razor says.

“You’re not that bad yourself,” Shade says.

“True,” Razor smirks,” Arbok glare!”

Arbok soon faced both Sceptile and Blaziken. Arbok’s eyes flashed out crystal blue. Sceptile and Blaziken stood motionless as they were struck by the paralyzing stare. But a helicopter filled with a few Black Rayquaza grunts attacked the carnival. They were a few but very soon thy started making a bonfire out of the carnival. You could hear people scream as a giant tower collapses.

“We’ve got to help them!” Grace says.

“Okay just wait,” Shade says,” Blaziken, Sceptile take these!”

Shade threw out two berries to Sceptile and Blaziken. Luckily Blaziken and Sceptile could move at that time. Blaziken and Sceptile instantly caught the berries with their mouths. Shade and Grace instantly recalled Sceptile and Blaziken and ran towards the burning carnival.

“Not so fast!” Razor says as he and his pokemon came in front of them.

“Get out of the way we have no time for you,” Grace says.

“Have to get through me first,” Razor says.

“You know I’m beginning to understand why you remain cursed,” Shade says.

After hearing this Razor just stood there with a blank expression on his face as Shade and Grace ran passed him to the carnival. Fearow stared at the kids and then turned to Razor.

“(Well what’re you doing?” Fearow asks,” we should help them)!”

“I’m a Black Rayquaza I cannot go against my own team,” Razor says.

“(Think boy, think)!” Fearow yells as he pokes his head,” (What’s more important? Being loyal to a bunch of people who’re harming people or saving the ones who’re in need)?”

Again Razor had a blank expression on his face and looked down to the ground.

“(Aw forget you I’m helping them),” Fearow squawks,” (Hey Arbok you coming)?”

“(I obey every command my master tells me),” Arbok hisses,” (I support his every ambition and if he thinks what he’s doing is right let him do it).”

“(What the heck is wrong with you two)?” Fearow says,” (I’m just going ahead to help them).”

Fearow then flaps away right beside Shade and Grace. Arbok sadly hisses at her master.

“(You know what they’re doing is wrong right)?” Arbok hisses.

“Yes but I’m so confused now,” Razor says,” I feel like an indecisive child who can’t decide on what he should do. One part says stay and the other says go. What should I do?”

“(Follow which ever path is correct to you),” Arbok says.

Razor looks up to the burning carnival as small burning ashes fly and a great light brightens the dark sky. As the bright ashes fill the sky, Razor then starts to make out an image with the flames of a woman. After seeing this Razor frowned, recalled Arbok and walked ran away from the carnival. Meanwhile in the carnival Shade, Grace and Fearow were outnumbered but not outmatched by the grunts.

“Blaziken use mega kick on that Scyther!” Shade orders.

Blaziken runs up to the mantis like pokemon and gives a swift but powerful kick on the Scyther’s face. The Scyther was sent flying into a still fixed hotdog stand. Suddenly an Arcanine came out of nowhere and struck a bumper car ride with intense burning flames.

“Sceptile tail whip!” Grace orders.

Sceptile then faces an Arcanine and gives a powerful slap with its leafy tail several times. A little girl was screaming and crying on top of a giant water slide, where she was stuck. Fortunately Fearow flew up to the water slide and saved the little girl. Suddenly two Ledians appeared buzzing right in front of Fearow. Ledian was a ladybug pokemon with four arms and two legs.

“(Hold on)!” Fearow shrieks as the girl holds his neck.

Fearow the quickly dived to the ground as the two Ledian’s followed. Fearow was outnumbered but not outmatched in speed. Fearow quickly dodged passed all the burning planks of wood. The two Ledians did the same except as the parted from each other one was slapped back by a burning plank of wood. The remaining Ledian quickly and carefully followed Fearow around. Fearow finally reached the exit and let the little girl go out of the carnival. Ledian finally caught up with him.

“(It seems that you are outmatched Fearow),” Ledian buzzes.

“(Maybe, but you’ve forgotten one thing),” Fearow says,” (I’m a flying type pokemon and you’re a juicy bug).”

Ledian then sweat dropped and quickly buzzed away. Back with Shad and Grace Blaziken and Sceptile were doing very well. But unknown Shade and Grace were below a heavy burning sign. While they were under the sign a Scyther quietly snaps the sign. The sign then plummets down to Shade and Grace. Swiftly something flew out from the sky and saved them before the sign could’ve turned them into newly mad pancakes. The person who saved them was Razor in a flying silver vehicle.

“You saved us,” Shade said.

“I’ve been doing a of bit thinking,” Razor says,” Recall your pokemon.”

Blaziken and Sceptile were surrounded by a horde of Houndoom. The Houndoom were growling at them as their teeth overflowed with drool. They were about to take a bite of them but Grace and Shade instantly recalled their pokemon.

“Hey Fearow you coming!?” Razor asks.

Fearow nods and quickly glides towards Razor’s vehicle.

“Hey what about the grunts?” Shade asks.

“Don’t worry before I came I dropped them of a little present,” Razor grins.

Right beneath the carnival floor some barrels containing oil rolled right from the ocean. Suddenly one of the burning building dropped creating a hole in the floor. Soon the burning tower made contact with the oil and soon created an explosion of flames and a great black and orange smoke in the air. Soon the carnival was completely obliterated. Later in somewhere part of town Grace and Shad thanked Razor for his help.

“Thanks Razor,” Shade says.

“Don’t mention it,” Razor says.

“Although I don’t understand what convinced you to help us,” Grace says.

“Well something just clicked it my mind,” Razor says.

Suddenly Razor’s feet started to turn into stone. Razor looked up and saw the moonlight focusing all its light on him. Slowly Razor was turning into stone. Razor tried to resist the affect but very soon he turned into a solid rock human statue. Grace and Shade went over about to touch him. But soon Razor’s statue began to slowly crack open. Small pieces of stone crumbled open until the all flesh and blood Razor broke out his rock covering. Razor looked at his hands and noticed the moon was still focusing on him. He was stone no more.

“Yes finally!” Razor praised,” the curse is lifted!”

“You’ve finally solved the riddle to your curse’s question,” Shade says.

“Why don’t you join us to help defeat the Black Rayquazas?” Grace asks.

“Nah I’m solo,” Razor says,” anyways I have to finish one more thing.”

Razor then gets into his vehicle and flies away into the clouds with Fearow by his side. Shad and Grace just watched Razor enter the dark sky.

“There goes the best bounty hunter in the world,” Shade says.

Later, about Two AM, Razor quickly manages to make it into Saffron city. He slowly walks up to a door and slowly rings a doorbell. Slowly the door opens and a woman about the age of seventeen appears. The woman had black hair and brown eyes and wore a pink night gown.

“Razor?” the woman asks.

“Hey Mitchell haven’t seen you in a while,” Razor says.

She slowly walks up to him and hugs him as tears slowly drop from her eyes. Razor comforts her by hugging back.

“It’s okay I’m here for good,” Razor says.

Unknown to the two they were being watched through a small lit fire portal by Shade and Grace.

“Well it looks like we know what was ticking in his head,” Grace says.

“Yeah I’m sure that those two will finally have a peaceful life,” Shade says.

So finally a new ally to overthrow the Black Rayquazas. There might be more but who knows…

Ok. The story has some progression and there is the fair share of action in those two chapters. However, I do find the use of legendaries quite irritating at times, and Mewtwo as well as Registeel are legendaries. Could you not have replaced them with something else? For example, Mewtwo with a mechanically souped-up Alakazam? Also, you tend to use too much speech in your writing, and the text after the speech is too similar. Always "Grace says" or something like that. Are you writing this in present tense? Stories like this should usually be in past tense, because they are like accounts of past happenings.

Chapter12
Darkness rises

Deep within the sky pillar, Marik with the sub leader and a scientist slowly stands on an open elevator in a science lab. In this science lab there were millions of pokemon in tanks of bubbling blue chemicals. They float dormant as an obsidian idol floats in the center of the lab charging the tanks with an aura of dark purple energy. On the walls symbols of the ancient world from all over the globe were printed each having different kind of dangerous shadow magic.

“Sir we have built together our cloning technology and Mewtwo’s cloning tech along with the ancient powers of shadows,” the scientist said,” As a result this clones might be as powerful as Mewtwo itself. All abilities and strengths have all been increased higher than their best and all have none of weaknesses.”

“But sir these pokemon haven’t been battle tested on Shade’s pokemon,” the sub leader interjected,” His pokemon might be a match for these ones as well and plus we’re out of soldiers and only have very few generals and blood knights.”

“It matters not,” the scientist smirked as he twitched his fingers,” These pokemon can obey any rule and would be able to fight on their own. So sir what do you say?”

Marik stared at all the clones that slept patiently waiting to be awakened. With seeing all this he had only one thing to reply,” Send them out and destroy Hoenn after you destroy them.”

Soon a few tanks were risen up to the roof of the pillar. The bright sun shined on the gleaming glass. The scientist smirked as he curled his funny moustache. Soon a fleet of Charizards slowly carried the tanks and flew off into the main land. Soon inside his room, Marik glares as he sees the fleet slowly leave into the sun. As he sees the sun he then sees a reflection of Shade and his Blaziken and Aerodactyl. Both pokemon were the ones he wanted to get rid of first since they both had defeated him. Looking at his mechanical arm he slowly takes a kind of tool and works on his arm. Blood stains on his clothes and metal as he figures around with his machine. A spark of electricity then surges in his arm and he immediately drops his tool.

“Curse that Shade,” Marik complained,” I had to give myself an upgrade because of this. My body functions are normal but when I repair my parts I quickly lose blood or damage my fragile organs.”

He then picks up his tool and connects two wires together stopping the surge. He slowly moves his finger to check his reflexes. He then looks at the mirror and sees his metallic eye. He may have better reflexes, but he feels that what he’s doing to himself was terribly wrong. Nevertheless he shall stop this madness of this when he gets rid of Shade and his two pokemon. He then slams his door behind and enters the take off area to join the remaining of the Black Rayquazas who has volunteered to go with this attack. Meanwhile in the mainland Shade and Grace informed all of Hoenn about the Black Rayquaza madness and has been able to form an army for defending against the Black Rayquazas. Shade slowly watches on top of a metal balcony while Grace works on a sensor to detect anything with heat and unusual genetic patterns. Down below a truck is slowly being pulled out with a truck full of poke balls and other technology. This was all being taken place in Foretree city. It seems that most of trainers who are apprenticed under Winona have decided to help a lot. Winona then comes in next to Shade. Winona had long purple hair, a kind of blue flight suit and goggles.

“I hope you know Hoenn’s ready for this,” Winona sweated,” We haven’t been this prepared since the titans’ clash.”

“As long as we let our hearts fight with us we shall never lose,” Shade said as he looked up to the sun.

Unknown anyone, a man in the shadows watched them carefully. His eye twinkled like a ruby as he revealed his hands which were covered with gloves that looked like golden claws like an eagle. He was about to reveal himself until he heard a siren. As he heard this alarming screech, he instantly fled away. Grace then rushed up to Shade and informed him that they’re attacking. Soon out of the sky, tanks plummeted like meteors landing almost anywhere. Other Charizards who had tanks flew off into other cities. Soon an explosion occurred in the city doors of Foretree. Marik calmly walks in with his Red Gyarados on his side. He then raises his hand and opens his palm. Soon the tanks opened releasing out non-hazardous smoke. Then out of the smoke the cloned pokemon emerged roaring.

“Destroy them all!” Marik yelled,” But Shade is mine.”

A cloned shadow Ninetails then emerged releasing a blast of furious flames from its mouth and unleashed it to a radio tower. One of the trainers was about to take out her pokemon, but suddenly a Hitmonlee came and struck her back making her black out. A few trainers managed to take out their pokemon, but most of the clones were too powerful. Grace instantly took out her pokemon to the battle field. Tyranitar leaped from the air and landed right on a cloned Marowak. Tyranitar then unleashed a great beam of energy from her mouth and struck down a cloned Ninetails. Unknown to her a Hitmonlee snuck up and gave a high jump kick sending her a few steps back. Sceptile then instantly came in to help, but two Ninetails came in and struck her down as they unleashed blast of great flames. Shade then took out all his pokemon to face Marik and his horde of dangerous pokemon, but Marik remained calm. Suddenly a number of shadow hands appeared from within the earth and grabbed all of Shade’s pokemon restraining them from moving. Blaziken and the others fell down panting heavily and weakly.

“It’s over Shade we win,” Marik smirked.

“Not when I still have powers!” Shade yelled as he rose up his palm.

Suddenly Shade felt a sharp sting behind his back. Shade fell on his knees and saw Grace behind her with a vaccine. Shade was shocked that she’d betray him. But suddenly her hair became white, her lips turned to bloody red, she began to look rather pale, her clothes wrapped around her turning into a beautiful black garment. Shade saw that it was one of the greatest deceivers of the Black Rayquazas. She was Sandara, the deceiver of men. She had the ability to read people’s thoughts and able to transform into the most desired type of look they would want. When she transformed she could seduce them into doing what she wants them to do or keep them in a trance. She read Shade’s mind and morphed herself into Grace. Shade began to grow weary and then saw one final image before he blacked out. He saw Grace, in a screen watching and slowly walking away; this meant that all this time he was traveling with Sandara. This was all planned out. He then blacked out falling into a deep slumber. His pokemon fainted as well, for they have lost most of their strength in resisting. For the more they resisted the more they weakened. They were returned to their poke balls and slowly carried by shadow clones. Sandara slowly carried Shade in her arms to take him away. Soon Tyranitar, Sceptile and Salamence began to glow a shining light and transformed into a Ditto, a small pink transform pokemon. Marik slowly took out a knife, but Sandara stopped him.

“It’s not your duty to kill him,” Sandara said,” The master wants him on our side alive.”

Marik angrily placed his knife away. Suddenly the man who hid in the shadows came and slapped Sandara away. Sandara moved back screeching. She then covered her face about to morph into the form this man desires. But she didn’t transform, she stayed the same. She was shocked and realized he was a Black Rayquaza. The man had eyes as red as blood, black hair, a coat of crimson red, gloves with golden like eagle claws, black pants, a black shirt and necklace with an orb of light. Suddenly a crowd of the shadow pokemon came up behind her glaring at the man. He was a bit outnumbered, but wasn’t scared. He then held up his necklace letting out a beam of bright purifying light within the area.

“This will teach you for betrayal and manipulation of life,” The man scolded.

The beam of light flashed out so bright it struck out all the shadow pokemon within the area. The shadow clones screeched in pain as the light began to go right through them slowly tearing them apart. They slowly exploded into shadow particles. Marik and Sandara were blinded by the great flash of light. While blinded the mysterious man picked up Shade and his pokemon and instantly moved away. The beam then began to spread more and more reaching the area of the sky pillar and striking most of the shadow clones that remained dormant. It also struck the obsidian idol shattering it into pieces. After the great flash, the scientist stood up and saw that his laboratory was destroyed. Most of the clones were dead and the obsidian idol was shattered. The pieces of the idol would power up the clones but there were only a few now and they won’t have as much pokemon to use.

“This is not good,” the scientist mumbled,” The master won’t like this.”

“And we were so close from getting rid of Shade!” Kurahk yelled as he pounded on the ground.

“You fools don’t get it,” Grace said walking in,” I want him alive so that he can join us, he can join me. He doesn’t understand why we’re doing this! But if e joins us we’ll be able to make a new world were people won’t judge others and to make it a better place.”

Unknown to them, The Dark Master Seth watched them through a vortex of circling flames. S was right beside him watching.

“You are correct Grace,” the Dark Master Seth smirked,” A better place, for me. Once they have completed this task I shall give them their very rewards.”

Later in a dark area in Hoenn, Shade slowly wakes up next to a burning crimson fire. Shade then weakly gets up and looks around for who saved him. He then finds only two of his poke balls lying on the ground, Blaziken and Aerodactyl, and wonders were the other three are. Suddenly his savior appeared in the opening of the cave when a bolt of lightning struck the dark air.

“You okay kid?” the man asked.

“Yeah but who are you and where are my other pokemon,” Shade asked.

“The name’s, I don’t really have a real name but you could call me Odium,” the man answered,” And your little pokemon they’re resting. It seems that your Aerodactyl and Blaziken were the only ones who were strong enough to resist the dark hands.”

“Where’s Grace?” Shade asked.

“Why’re you asking to go to an enemy?” Odium asked,” She tricked you and made you like a fool.”

“But I remember her seeing her fight against the Black Rayquazas and Kurahk and Akira…”

“Akira’s dead,” Odium explained,” They tricked him as well. He didn’t know either about this plan, but when the genesis project was ready, she instantly called Sandara to come and trick you as well. Those bases she destroyed in Johto were to prove that she wasn’t weak in battle.”

“How do you know all this?” Shade asked.

“Don’t change the subject,” Odium replied,” The world has now fallen into the influence of the Black Rayquaza and it’s already too late. Marik has formed into the leader of Hoenn and will slowly manipulate the world. He has formed into Hoenn’s leader and handed over power to Grace.”

Shade instantly got up and walked out, but Odium instantly stopped him.

“Don’t just go out,” Odium said,” You and I are a few of the wanted trainers and they might just find…

But before Odium could even finish his sentence, he took a hold of Shade and leaped off just in time to avoid a fatal explosion. Shade looked up and saw three Charizards slowly hovering, with burning orange eyes and a kind of shining black symbol crested on its forehead. Odium instantly took out a silver pistol and shot a Charizard. One single shot immediately sent it crashing down on the ground. Shade was in shock and instantly grabbed Odium.

“Is that how you earned your name?” Shade asked,” By killing?”

“Move aside,” Odium said pushing Shade away,” These bullets only inject a sleeping liquid that can instantly knock a grown man to sleep.”

Odium began to continue shooting, but the Charizards flew around dodging the gun shots. Shade didn’t really like the idea of Odium shooting pokemon. A Charizard then faced against Odium and unleashed a blast of burning flames from its fangs. Odium quickly dodged and continued shooting. The Charizard then unleashed another blast to melt the bullets down to liquid.

“Don’t you have any pokemon?!” Shade asked.

“I don’t like to put the life of others in danger,” Odium said,” So I don’t get anyone to join me or any pokemon to accompany me.”

“Well I do,” Shade frowned as he released Aerodactyl from its poke ball,” Aerodactyl attack with take down!”

Aerodactyl flew up giving a mighty roar and slammed its rocky skull right on the chest of Charizard. Charizard flapped back a bit but then released another flamethrower. Aerodactyl instantly soared up into the dark sky and revealed itself in the light of glittering moon. Wasting no time, Aerodactyl flew towards Charizard grabbing it with its powerful feet. Aerodactyl managed to push Charizard down to the ground, but it began to flap its wings to help it get up. Charizard then released
Itself from Aerodactyl’s powerful grip and pushed him up a bit. Aerodactyl then dived down to give a powerful kick, but Charizard immediately struck its claws on the ankles of Aerodactyl. Aerodactyl then landed a few meters in front of Charizard. It looked down to examine its foot and saw a bit of a scratch with not really much of major bleeding.

The two dragons stared at each other for a while, and then quickly flew towards each other giving powerfully angry screeches. Aerodactyl seal its fingers together to deliver a powerful crusty punch. The punch struck Charizard on the face, making Charizard look back. The mighty dragon then slowly turned to Aerodactyl with a bright pinkish bruise on the face. It then gave out a might bellow as blood came out of its mouth to also reveal some in its mouth and teeth. Aerodactyl was intimidated a bit but stood its ground. Charizard slowly stomped towards Aerodactyl twitching its left eye. Its eyes revealed a burning brand of fire and Aerodactyl’s reflection. But as soon as Charizard took one more step forward, it fell down fainted. Aerodactyl took a deep breath and kneeled down panting from the small battle they had. Suddenly a gun shot sprung out. Aerodactyl’s eyes opened wide. It instantly turned around to see Charizard behind him. Charizard crunched its teeth together then slowly collapsed on the ground. Behind Charizard appeared Shade and Odium with his gun puffing out a bit smoke. Odium then slowly places his gun behind his cape. The Charizard’s began to glow into a light then instantly teleported before their eyes.

“It’s much easier when you do it alone,” Odium said.

“Maybe,” Shade sighed,” But don’t you get lonely?”

“Lonely? A little,” he grimly replied,” It’s a small price, I would die early for others to live longer. Except I don’t really have much of anyone to talk to.”

“Okay how about I lend you my three pokemon for a while,” Shade said,” until they get healed.”

“So you want me to be your storage system?”

“You can say that.”

“Fine then take this,” Odium said handing over a golden talisman,” This allows you to contact me any time and this is what I’ll be using to hold your pokemon an ancient obsidian rock used to hold up more than fifty pokemon. It’s a kind magic item.”

Shade slowly held the glittering black rock in his palm and tapped his three poke balls on the rock. The pokemon were slowly absorbed in. Shade could see them inside the rock. Inside the rock, Registeel, Absol and Ampharos were quite amazed by this. They looked around and saw a beautiful green plain, a giant lake and other natural environmental areas. The background looked exactly like the real world and they had everything they actually needed. The only difference was that when they looked in the sky, they saw Shade through a kind of window. Shade slowly handed over the rock to Odium.

“Take care of them,” Shade said.

“Don’t worry,” Odium said,” I will.”

Soon they departed; Shade took a final glimpse at his pokemon and slowly took off with Aerodactyl into the darkened thundering skies. Once again he’ll have Grace and her team breathing down his neck. Odium saw Shade fly by and slowly walked away entering a dark forest. As he moved on he saw a wanted poster on an old tree. He took a look at it and saw it written “wanted Shade, reward fifty thousand yen, if capture please send to office #07 in Pacifidog city.” After reading this he slowly dropped the paper on the dead leaf filled ground. Suddenly a splatter of blood squirted on the ground. A man in a ninja suit fell on the ground dead. Odium slowly removed a small shiruken from his arm. He then turned away into the exit of the forest. In his front view lies the dark isle Exile Island where the Dark Lord Seth lives. It was far off into the ocean. It drifted slowly wandering the ocean with fog circling the area. Thunder boomed as lightning struck. The wind howled as if someone was painfully moaning.

“Every soul who has tried to stop this debacle of the darkness has ended up here,” Odium quietly said,” Except for me, I hope Shade could do the same…”

With saying these last words he went down into the dull cold plains, hoping to find the light that cannot be closed…

Your first few chapters are really hard to read, becauese I keot getting thrown off by the grammar and inconsistent structure. Hmmm, the plot was ok, with some parts a little iffy. I liked shade, though. Hope to see more of Shade in the future. Your description did improve, as did your language, and all credit to you for that. Well done on that count. good luck mate.

Sorry it took so long, well here's chap 13. Please comment and hope you enjoy...

Chapter 13
The rival or dark lord?

Now within the half destroyed city of Foretree, Shade is in a bar having a little talk with a girl. The bar had bright neon lights, a lot of drunk people but surprisingly the place looks tidy. The girl Shade’s talking to is Yami; she is a kind of supporter of the Black Rayquazas. Yami had a brown pony tail, green eyes, a white shirt and a blue jacket and jeans. They were also old friends; Yami gave out info when Shade was still in the Black Rayquazas.

“So Yami do you think you could tell me?” Shade calmly asked.

“Figure it out yourself wise*****,” Yami said as she took a toothpick out of her mouth.

“Listen here Yami we’ve known each other for more than five years already and in those years I never thought of coming back to you!” Shade angrily said as he stood up,” Now listen I don’t like you and you don’t like me either, so why don’t you make this easier for yourself.”

“But ya still gotta pay ya know,” Yami said slowly placing her feet on the table.

Shade took from his pocket a small sandy brown bag and tossed it next to her. Yami took off the string and saw great big rubies which sparkled like a crimson fire. Yami nodded and hummed sounding quite impressed. But Yami then threw it behind her, letting the precious stones scatter out to the wooden floor. Soon almost all of the customers saw the rubies and wrestled each other for them. Shade was beginning to get really ****** off by Yami.

“Rubies have millions of ‘em,” Yami smirked as she looked at her nails,” I want something more.”

“And what would that be?” Shade asked raising his eyebrow.

“The gems your after,” Yami said,” After you use all of them I’ll be taking them.”

Shade then got really mad and gritted his teeth angrily at her. Yami just calmly placed her hands together smiling, Shade then calmed down, crossing his arms together and replied,” Fine. But you’ll provide transport.”

“Is that all?” Yami asked,” Not a problem.”

Meanwhile, in the highest mountain of Hoenn, Marik slowly watched a glowing blue sapphire in a glass case. Within the glass case small snow flakes drooped out of the top. Marik turned around to see the warm rays of the sun touch his face. The white snow slowly melted off the land revealing glittering green grass. There was still a blanket of snow in the area, but grass slowly popped from the ground. The flowing stream moved silently and quickly. Marik then took a deep breath from the frosty wind but then noticed a beeping noise in his bionic arm. A blinking red light beeped in his arm, soon steam puffed out of the silver plating of his arm. Marik got into a bit of a panic and began to twist a nut with his bare hands, but his normal hands weren’t strong enough to twist around the nut in his arm. The harder he tried the more blood squirted out. The blinking light flashed red, as Marik’s temperature became hotter. Blood poured out and squirted out on the snow. Marik fell down on one knee moaning in pain as his temp increased.

“Curse you Shade,” Marik grunted.

Suddenly Sandara came in with a wrench. She held Marik’s arm and felt a powerfully strong burning sensation from his arm. She also noticed that he lost already a lot of blood from his hand.

“You really should be assisted with this,” Sandara said.

She then gently twisted the wrench around his arm to remove the nut. His arm then immediately opened releasing a huge cloud of hot steam. Inside his arm were his skeletal structure, his veins, a lot of blood, a few thin rubber wires around his veins and bones and a kind of small electrical tube beeping red like mad. Without hesitation, Sandara grabbed the tube from his arm and took off some wires attached to the tube. Marik felt a terrible burning sting in his body as some of the wires touched his veins and blood. Sandara acted quickly and replaced the tube with another one with a calm blue light. Marik panted heavily as the pain stopped, Sandara slowly shut his arm and tightened the nut.

“Thanks, I think,” Marik said as he flexed his metallic fingers.

“We’re the last of the Black Rayquazas,” Sandara replied,” We have to look out for each other.”

“I know but because of Shade our team is being destroyed,” Marik complained as he looked out to the fields,” And he shall pay for killing Ray, my brother.”

“You have a brother?” Sandara asked as she went next to him,” I should’ve known that.”

Later, in the outskirts of Foretree, Yami let Shade into a giant aircraft. Shade was pretty impressed; it had a black color, with red flames painted on it. Inside plenty of controls, there’s a kind of deck for resting, the main engine was huge and pumping with heat and steam. The flight deck was hue and had a giant window in front to show almost anything in front of them.

“Nice,” Shade complimented,” How many people exactly do you need to have to control this thing?”

“You actually just need three,” Yami said,” One for navigation, armory and piloting.”

Yami then took three poke balls out and took out an Alakazam, Medicham and a Ditto. Yami told Shade to keep himself busy while they start up the ship. Alakazam and the other pokemon move out to the controls and start pressing a few buttons. Yami sat on a chair in the center and started clicking on some buttons on a keyboard that appeared from the chair. Doing what Yami said, Shade takes a look around the ship. He starts of in the resting deck. Inside he sees bedrooms, a kind of bar and a huge computer. Shade slowly switches on the computer. A glowing blue light flashes on the huge screen.

“Welcome to world archives,” the computer said a female voice,” Please select from the categories listed down.”

Shade got a bit interested and looked around. There were plenty of archives such as World War II, the battle between Groudon and Kyogre, the opening of Sliph Co and even some religious data. But there was one archive which caught Shade’s attention, he slowly moved the cursor and clicked the creation of The Black Rayquazas. Suddenly a kind of laser from the ceiling appeared and shot out a small blue laser on the floor. The lights instantly switched off and all the windows in the room shut tight. Shade found himself in a void of darkness. Shade then saw the surroundings around him were green grass, the blue sky, the golden sun and white clouds. Shade then saw in front of him a dark and dead forest, a little girl with brown hair, green eyes and a pink dress slowly walked in. The little girl looked about the age of five and she looked rather scared. Shade slowly followed her into the dead forest. As he went in he saw on the trees, markings written in an ancient tongue by crimson blood. As he went in he saw the little girl standing in front of a malodorous lake. The lake was wide and deep, instead of water, blood was in the pit. Skeletons chained hanged on dead trees, the skeletal bones were just an inch from touching the blood. The girl slowly took off her shoes and took and was about to take one step forward into the lake.

“Little girl don’t!” Shade shrieked.

He tried to grab her hand but she was just a hologram. She then took one step in and managed to walk safely on the bloody water. Every time she stepped on the blood, painful moaning groaned from within the lake. She then took a final step and walked into the center. A bright light beamed down to her body. She closed her eyes and began to slowly fly upward. Suddenly the earth shook, the trees swayed. The skeletons hanging opened their crusty mouths and screeched as if they were in pain. Shade was beginning to get uncomfortable; he turned around and saw the ash filled sand begin to rise up. Out of the ash filled sand druids wearing black robes and holding torches of sapphire blue flame walked near to the lake and slowly kneeled down. The light began to fade, trees twisted around completely covering the light. They then placed the torches on the bloody lake. Soon the lake of blood burnt a burning sapphire blue flame, as the flame covered the lake, screeching white spirits howled in pain holding their faces as the swirled around the girl. Soon the spirits entered the body of the little girl.

“The female is now the leader of the group we now call the Black Rayquazas,” A druid bellowed.

“She has the power to control dark forces and bend them to her will,” a female druid said.

“She shall be the catalyst to change the world,” another druid said,” She shall fulfill our ancient prophecy.”

Soon the girl’s emerald green eyes sharpened, her hair floated around her, her fangs became sharper. A red surge of energy circled around her body. Meanwhile back in the flight deck Alakazam presses a few buttons and is a bout to announce that they’re ready for take off, but then notices one was blinking red. This is alerting that something is being used and has to be shut off before taking off.

“(Yami it seems that the archives is being used),” Alakazam grunted.

“Which archives?” Yami asked.

“(Archives #3256),” Alakazam replied as he began to switch on a few more buttons.

“Shade,” she growled as her emerald eyes glowed.

Back to the rest deck, Shade was getting really uncomfortable with the archive scene. The girl was now wearing a cloak around her face and just took out a knife with fresh stained blood on the blade. She slowly licked the knife then turned around to Shade. She slowly walked up to him raising the knife, Shade moved back getting frightened, the girl then raised her knife but suddenly, Yami entered and turned on all the lights. Yami had a stern look on her face and pushed Shade aside to get to the computer.

“Don’t ever look into that file again,” Yami said as she typed in a lock for the archive.

“That girl was that?” Shade asked

Predicting what Shade was about to say, she turned around and replied,” You have no proof that girl is me.”

“But how do I know you aren’t?”

“You’re asking for my help and you’re thinking that I’m the founder of the BR?” Yami said,” You sure know how to charm a lady.”

“Look why don’t we settle this like we used to?” Shade asked,” If I defeat you in a battle you tell me the truth.”

Yami’s eyes widened in shock that he doesn’t really trust her.” You trusted Grace but you don’t trust me. Fine If I win you won’t ask about that archive past again.”

Shade nodded. Both trainers stared at each other sternly. Later on top of the ship, Yami ordered Alakazam to take the ship in the sky for an air battle. So now hovering in the sky, Shade and Yami were about to face off.

“It’ll be a two on tow match,” Shade said,” So who’re you going to choose first Ditto or Medicham?”

“Why would I use one of them when I have three other choices as well?” Yami said.

“You have six pokemon?” Shade asked.

“Yes,” Yami replied,” Did you forget that a trainer could have up to six pokemon?”

Shade scratched his head in embarrassment and blushed. Yami stretched her back a bit then grabbed a poke ball from her belt. Shade decided to go first on choosing. Blaziken was sent out to the metallic field. Blaziken took a deep breath enjoying the clear air in the blue sky. Yami then closed her eyes and gracefully threw out a Doduo to the field. Doduo was a twin headed bird type pokemon, with brown feathers and no wings.

“Doduo start with a fury attack!” Yami ordered.

Doduo shot out its two heads right at Blaziken’s chest; luckily Blaziken dodged the attack and landed on the other side near Yami. Inside the ship, the three pokemon were watching the battle through a small screen. Back up, Blaziken delivers a powerful and quick punch right on the center of Doduo’s body, but Doduo takes the hit and instantly pushes Blaziken back. Doduo start rampaging towards Blaziken with both heads raging and getting ready to peck Blaziken. Blaziken then closed its eyes and waited for the Doduo to attack. A binding blue energy motioned around Blaziken as the Doduo came closer. Slowly at the right time, Blaziken took out its powerful claws and made a quick strike right on Doduo. Doduo kept on running but soon fell on its chins near the edge of the craft. The Doduo felt a powerful sting in its chest as it moaned in pain. Yami recalled Doduo and grinned as she grabbed her next one. Looking a bit energetic, she spins the ball on the tip of her finger for a while and throws it out to the field. A massive Rhydon roars out in the field. Rhydon was a rhino pokemon with a drill as a horn and walks on two legs. Rhydon stamped its left foot for a while getting ready to charge right at Blaziken.

“Blaziken rolling kick now!” Shade ordered.

Blaziken then split its legs and spun like a wheel towards Rhydon. Ignoring that it has a weakness to fighting attacks, Rhydon charged right towards Blaziken. When the two pokemon were close to striking each other, Rhydon let its arm out and gave powerful slap with its muscular rock arms on Blaziken’s legs. Blaziken was sent back near the edge of the ship. Blaziken instantly got on its feet and faced Rhydon, but Rhydon came charging at a powerful speed and knocked Blaziken off the ship with its powerful horn. Shade wasted not time and instantly recalled Blaziken. Shade knew he couldn’t use Blaziken now since it moved out of the field. He then grabbed another poke ball and released Aerodactyl.

“This would take a while,” Shade said.

“Do you mean only fifteen minutes a while?” Yami asked,” Cause both pokemon might be rock types but Rhydon has a better advantage.”

“Explain,” Shade said.

“Although Aerodactyl is invulnerable to ground type attacks it will receive normal damage by rock attacks,” Yami explained,” Rhydon also ha the ability to learn various kinds of attacks that could damage rock types.”

Yami gave out a smirk and ordered Rhydon to attack Aerodactyl. Rhydon slowly created a cotillion of shimmering blue energy and unleashed a freezing beam of ice right at Aerodactyl. Aerodactyl folded its wings together and dived down avoiding the freezing blast of ice. As it got nearer it powered its wings with a silver flash and converted its crusty rock wings to silver metallic blades. Aerodactyl was about to strike down and slash off Rhydon’s horn, but Rhydon crouched and leaped up towards Aerodactyl’s wings. It then powered its powerful fists with a shine like Aerodactyl’s. The wings and Rhydon’s fist crushed together making a powerful vibrating sound. The two pokemon landed on the ship at the same time making the ship shake. Shade lost balance and fell on his butt. He saw the two pokemon still having their metallic attacks on. They were fighting fiercely trying to break the metal of each other. As the two metal attacks struck each other, a screeching spark shot out of the metal. Both pokemon were trying so hard to push each other aside. Finally they heard some kind of crack, both pokemon looked at their parts, both of their metallic attacks were cracking off. It was not too long before they were sent back. Pieces of metal flaked of Aerodactyl’s wings and Rhydon’s claws. A bit of blood drifted from the cuts of both pokemon.

“It seems both our pokemon are an equal match in metal attacks,” Yami commented,” My Rhydon’s arms are terribly hurt so she won’t be able to use punching attacks. But it seems that your Aerodactyl’s wings are also hurt, which means it cant’ fly.”

“But that doesn’t mean he could still fight!” Shade yelled,” Aerodactyl ice beam!”

Aerodactyl opened its jaws and instantly released a powerful beam of glowing ice right towards Rhydon. Rhydon counterattacked with releasing a powerful stream of blazing flames. The burning flames struck through the beam and launched right towards Aerodactyl. Wasting no time, Aerodactyl jumped avoiding the flames and landed safely. But Rhydon then charged with its horn spinning right in front of him. Aerodactyl felt a great pain as the drill struck its chest. Rhydon didn’t really care it just continued to drill until it broke a hole into Aerodactyl’s chest. Aerodactyl feeling a terrible pain in his body looked sternly at Rhydon and did the most desperate thing ever. It slowly locked on Rhydon’s head and instantly smashed his skull right on Rhydon’s head. Rhydon was walked a few steps back holding its head in pain. Aerodactyl got on one knee staring at Rhydon as it felt a bit of blood drip out of its chest. While Rhydon was still weakened, Aerodactyl released a powerful shimmering ice beam right on Rhydon’s left arm. Rhydon moved back in pain as it waved its frozen left arm in the air. Rhydon then burnt a blaze of fury in its eyes and soon was engulfed with a crimson flame. The ice instantly melted away and soon an explosion of flames erupted from within Rhydon and struck anything within the area. Aerodactyl couldn’t help but try and protect himself. Even Shade was struck by the burning wave of flames. Yami stood still and calm as the burning air struck her as well. Inside the ship, the screen instantly went blank because of the flames. But as soon as the flames faded into smoke, Aerodactyl lay motionless and weakened on the ground. Rhydon was still on her feet; Yami was at the same position and wasn’t hurt at all. Shade wasn’t hurt, but he fell to his knees, unable to admit defeat.

“Now we’ll never talk about these archives again,” Yami said as she recalled Rhydon.

Yami then offered her hand out to Shade, offering help. Shade didn’t feel like getting up, but he took a hold of her hand and recalled Aerodactyl. They both went into the ship. As Shade walked ahead he looked at both his pokemon who were terribly hurt. Shade then faced a huge screen which was going to show the area Yami would take him. The screen showed a frozen entrance. The entrance had ice carvings of pokemon such as Articuno.

“This is the entrance to what I would call the Frozen Throne,” Yami explained,” Within it lies an ancient ruin and in the center of the ruin lies the jewel you and I seek. One problem, the ruin is now used as a kind of city by a company that works for the Black Rayquazas. You may have taken out the BR units but not their allies.”

Meanwhile inside the frozen throne, Blake slowly walks around the company Yami mentioned. Blake slowly looked around and saw frozen symbols which wrote Sliph Co. Blake instantly entered the frozen throne by wandering in the teleporting squares in the main Sliph Co building. Blake moved around with his arms wrapped around him. As he looked around he found a computer next to one of the frozen buildings. The computer looked old but still workable. Blake slowly accessed the files of Sliph Co to find out more about them. Blake then found a kind of link to their main computer which showed the files, databases and archives of Sliph Co. As Blake typed on the archives he discovered a lot of things he or the world would’ve never known…
