I had an idea for a myth detailing the first Snivy, Oshawott and Tepig, how they got their evolutions, and why Snivy loses its arms and legs on evolution.

The three journey around together, performing good deeds across Unova. Snivy would repeatedly try to go above and beyond, though. And when this didn't work out, he wouldn't take it well. At all. So he wanted to become more powerful.

Ultimately, Snivy steals Taiji (http://www.yijing.co.uk/intro/wuji.html) crown (http://static.pokefarm.org/_img/items/relic_crown.png), a part of the ultimate dragon that contains it's primary essence, and binds all of it's parts together. Snivy turns into a fearsome version of Serperior (the first Serperior, with arms and legs), and claims himself Supreme Ruler. His friends have to stop him, but they are powerless. However, the truth and ideal portions of the now split ultimate dragon give Tepig and Oshawott their respective blessings, turning them into mighty warriors capable of stopping Supreme Emperor Serperior.

After a fierce battle, Serperior is defeated, and the influence of the ultimate dragon are no longer necessary. But they did leave their mark. Tepig and Oshawott's would be a line of warriors, while Snivy's line would retain a regal appearance. However, for his theft, Snivy's descendants would lose more of their limbs the more powerful they got.

Inspiration came while thinking over this (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Abyssal_Ruins) and listening to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKYCyDiS9ZU&feature=related).

This is just a basic overview (because I'm lazy), but it could be really cool if done right.

Any thoughts? Have some ideas of your own?
