Has this been done before...?

Did Pokemon 7 let you down? I know it let me down, all we got was a dumb Rayquaza that destroyed everything, some pointless Munchlax and Plusle/Minun stuff, Team Rocket making cameos for no reason, and bucnh of boxes that appearnatly multplied like bunnies at the last minute.

Well, I'm totally re-doing it with a few twists. I know this chapter seems word-to-word the same with the movie, but as it goes on it'll be wildly differnet. And I also know it looks real short, but it was something that only took me an hour and probably has a bunch of errors in it. Feel free to criticize.

Rated PG-13 for major blood and gore, and later some cussing.

Since the beginning of time, our world has had mysteries. How did it come to be? When was life created? What exactly is life? What happens once we do die? And… is this the only planet with life?

Humans and Pokémon have wandered these questions since their creation and have no come to a solid conclusion. Life is a miracle in its own way. We can see, think, hear, touch, and ask why we can do these extraordinary things.

Pokémon are as much as a miracle as humans, if not more so. Like humans they change form over the years, to a much further extent. We call this evolution, although it is more of a puberty action. The odd thing is, Pokémon seem to have the choice whether they evolve or not. It is unknown if this is some kind of glitch or something… more.

Whatever the matter, we can not overlook the importance of our world. In a perfectly balanced nature, our planet consist of three main areas: ground, sea, and air. It is unknown, like so many other things, how we have this perfect balance. Some ancient cultures tell legends of almighty Pokémon that watch over our planet, keeping it safe.

But safe… from what?

Billions of Years Ago
Moments Before the Big Bang

On a small, desolate planet lived a miniscule colony of life-forms. Life was extraordinarily rare, yet this colony had no idea. They had amazing psychic power and could, to a limit, change shape to a number of different forms. These creatures’ souls were mainly in the colored gem in the center of the chest. Every gem was a different color, and could emit solar waves that would mark territory. Breeding was a rarity as too many of these forms would cause catastrophe.

And indeed it did.

Amazing how such a small argument can cause something that would change history forever. It started out innocent enough. One of the beings with emerald-colored solar waves and gem was hungry for cosmic radiation. It wandered into territory not of its own to satisfy its needs.

However, it had wandered into the area of a very territorial indigo-colored creature. The emerald creature just wanted a few rays before going to search for its own. But when the indigo creature saw this stranger absorbing its rays that it gathered, it was outraged.

From out of seemingly nowhere, the emerald creature was hit by a psychic blast. Surprised, it realized it was being attacked. And indeed, the indigo creature was in its attack form, with four long tentacles as arms and spiked kneecaps.

Frightened, the emerald creature assumed its speed form: the back of its head was shifted to be pointed backwards and its arms and legs morphed to flow alongside it as it fled. Quickly zooming away, it was almost immediately hit with another attack. Pulling together all its courage, the emerald creature got into defense form.

Defense form had an almost egg-shaped head and shoulders and large, protective shields as arms. Turning back to its enemy, the emerald creature was barely feeling the attacks. But the indigo creature was very displeased now, it was angrily firing a single blast. Realizing it must attack back, the indigo creature’s foe managed to dodge an attack just long enough to also transform into attack mode. Now in full combat, the two were in full combat now, not exactly what the indigo creature wanted. Terribly angered, it began to store up all of its energy for a devastating attack. Quickly noticing this, the emerald creature followed suit. There were a few moments of charging, but the two unleashed massive amounts of energy only milliseconds apart.

The other creatures on this tiny planet were killed instantly. Many other planets had been destroyed within seconds. This gigantic collision of energy created new matter; positive, negative, and even some “strange” matter. As galaxies were destroyed within the blink of an eye, new space was being created. Our universe had just been born.

Somehow, the two creatures in combat had been spared. All that remained left of them were the indigo and emerald gems which contained their very existence.

The two gems were being shot out into this new universe they had created. They were very weak to see at the least, of course, but they still barely had some life in them. Going at a speed about 1/16 of the speed of the energy rapidly destroying and creating, it would put their speed forms to shame. But, it would still take them a long time before they could stop and continue their battle.

The very same battle that inadvertently created all of us.

1995 A. D.

Professor Lund smiled as he watched his young son wander down the beach. With his long, gray hair swaying by his neck as he ran, Tori looked more happy than he had in months. At age six, he sure did like to explore. Natural instinct, Lund though, the skills of the scientist…

“Jay? This I fascinating, you should come look,” his wife said as she walked up behind him. The two watched as their son began to walk up to a group of Corsola. “Quite the mover, isn’t he?” she pointed out.

“Yes, just like you,” Lund, who always insisted the boy got his personality from her, replied, “what has the archeology team found this time?”

It was thanks to the archeology team that they were on this nearly-abandoned island in the first place. The collapsed remains of an ancient temple dubbed the “Sky Pillar” had thought to have been found and most of the test pointed toward it truly being so. Back in its prime, it was said to literally scrape the sky, and it is rumored where the term “sky scrapers” originates from. The Sky Pillar was considered very holy to an ancient clad who worshiped three Pokémon: Groudon, God of Land; Kyogre, God Of Seas; and Rayquaza; God of the Sky.

It was Jay who insisted Tori come and his wife reluctantly agreed. She seemed to like his idea now though, as Tori apparently enjoyed traveling across half the country with his parents. Which, brings us back to Jay’s question…

“What has the archeology team found this time?”

“It’s amazing. The hieroglyphics seem to be hinting towards Rayquaza not only living at the Sky Pillar, but also being born there. They say that Rayquaza was the peace-keeper of ground, sea, and sky and was the more intelligent of the three gods,” she exclaimed excitedly.

“That is, of course, if Rayquaza was real. I’d think we’d notice the skeleton of a fifty-foot beast,” Jay remarked.

As the two discussed possibilities, their son was making friends with a wild Pokémon.

“Hi, I’m Tori!” he claimed, “I’m here with my mom and dad they’re researching some ruins!”

“Corsola, corso cor la!” the pink-and-white Corsola happily replied. As more Corsola came up to him, the more excited Tori got. He couldn’t wait until he was ten and could start to catch Pokémon and train them. But the little boy’s fantasies were cut short when the Corsola began to run away into the ocean. “Wait- stop…” he muttered.

Hearing a whooshing sound behind him, Tori turned around and was shocked. A meteor with an indigo glow was heading straight at him!

“Tori!” his parents shouted simultaneously, running towards him. But it was not worth shouting at him, he was so startled he couldn’t even move.

Mouth agape, Tori hardly even notice his parents run to him and push him out of the way. With Tori in his arms, Jay ran until he hard a horrible sound behind him. SCRREEEEE!!!!!!!

“MOOOOOMMMMMMYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Tori screamed. She had been hit by the meteor and pushed out to the ocean with it. With a loud “boom!” the meteor landed about thirty feet in the ocean… with the organs and blood of Jay’s wife scattered all throughout the beach.

Horrified, Tori and Jay barely even realized what was happening. From where the meteor landed, the indigo creature emerged out of the ocean. Thankfully, all the archeologist got out of the ruins of the Sky Pillar before the emerald gem- also looking like a meteor- landed and caused a large explosion. And only some of the archeologist turned around in time to see Rayquaza rise from the ruins.

Under other circumstances, it would be a wondrous opportunity to see the legendary creature rise from the Sky Pillar. In the late afternoon sun, it’s brilliant green and yellow scales shined as if Rayquaza had just been polished. But it wasn’t the time to be thinking straight: two meteors just hit, the ruins and all their research destroyed, some odd being covered in carnage was coming from the ocean, and the leader of the operation had just been violently killed.

Rayquaza and the indigo creature immediately rose into the air. It wasn’t much of a battle; the indigo creature was still very weak from its landing and a single Hyper Beam from Rayquaza reduced it to the indigo gem that had rammed into Earth. Without anyone noticing, the indigo gem rolled back into the ocean and Rayquaza roared angrily as it flew into the sky. Some people were in hysterical tears, some were watching in horror and confusion as Rayquaza flew away, and some were too shocked to do anything.

And one of them found the emerald gem that rammed into the ruins and awoke Rayquaza.

Gah! No one's replying. O.o If nobody says anything, I'll probably stop.

Meh. Here's part two. Shorter than the first one, I know, but I decided to end it earlier than planned to leave on a cliffhanger.

1999 A.D.

“Ash, I’m getting tired, let’s rest!” May whined.

“Why do you always tell me when you want to stop?” Ash retorted, “Ask Brock, he’s the oldest.”

“Actually, Ash, it is getting kind of late. We should stop for tonight,” Brock smugly answered.

It was not uncommon for this type of bickering to start. Four teenagers of very different ages are bound to disagree when traveling together by foot. Ash Ketchum, a thirteen-year-old from Pallet Town had traveled across many different countries and was used to these long walks, as was Brock, an eighteen-year-old who was forced to care for his nine younger siblings the majority of his life and was a terrific cook. Ten-year-old May was not as accustomed to these journeys as she only started about half a year ago. Her eight-year-old brother Max also didn’t enjoy walking everywhere they went.

“Good, because I’m pretty tired,” Max reported, holding back a yawn. It was about eight o’ clock and sunset, but the group usually didn’t stop to set camp for at least another hour.

Ash groaned, he wanted to at least get to the next town. Adept City it was called, it was known for being the home of an Archeology corporation. Most of the residents there were said to be smart, but there weren’t any moving sidewalks or anything ridiculous like that, of course. The traveling guide mentioned something about a giant tower named the Sky Pillar overlooking the city that worked as a research building.

“Pika pi!” Pikachu called out. Lost in thought, Ash hadn’t even noticed his electric mouse Pokémon, Pikachu, had leapt off his shoulders and gone to play with Max as Brock and May set up camp.

“We should let our Pokémon out, they could use some air,” Brock commented, unrolling his sleeping bag.

“Okay!’ Ash agreed with determination. Grabbing for his belt, he yanked off the four Pokéballs and threw them into the air. “Go, Grovyle, Torkoal, Swellow, Corphish!” he yelled.

“Come on out, Beautifly, Bulbasaur, Combusken, Skitty!” May called, also throwing her balls into the air.

“Mudkip, Lombre, Forretress! You guys, too!” Brock screamed.

With eleven blinding bursts of light, the group’s Pokémon emerged and began to stretch. Ash could only imagine what it was like inside a Pokéball, but it must have been cramped.

“Corphish! Cor cor phish!” Ash’s Corphish bellowed. He seemed pretty angry at something. Then again, Corphish always seemed mad at something.

“What’s the matter, Corphish?” Ash asked, still half-daydreaming. Yet Corphish wasn’t the only one of the Pokémon acting strangely.

“Kip, mud mud!” Brock’s Mudkip exclaimed.

“Bulbasaaaaur...” May’s Bulbasaur said to herself strangely.

“What’s up with them?” May asked, confused.

“Pokémon are much more in tune with nature then we are,” Brock explained, “something must be wrong.”

Ash remembered times where things like this had happened before. A few years ago, some of the best trainers in Kanto were called to a construction site to stop a group of Diglett that were halting the operation. None of the trainers’ Pokémon would stop the Diglett though, as they knew the construction would destroy the environment. On a much larger scale, a madman that was trying to capture the legendary birds Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, and Lugia ended up nearly flooding the world, and Pokémon from all over the continent tried to travel to the source of the mayhem to stop it. Ash wondered if only the local Pokémon were acting odd or all of them on Earth like last time.

“Pika Pikachu Pi!” Pikachu said, interrupting Ash’s thoughts once again.

“What’s he saying?” May asked. To a limited degree, Ash seemed to understand what Pikachu said.

‘I’m not sure. Something about the air being… corrupted.” He processed, thinking of what Pikachu was trying to say.

“Pika, Pi Chu!” Pikachu insisted. The others joined in talking. Ash glanced at them, then over to May Brock. Something was missing…

“Hey, where’s Max?” he asked.

“I sent him out to firewood while you weren‘t helping us set up,” May calmly replied. Then after a moment, she exclaimed, “Oh no! What if he’s hurt?”

A few moments before, Max was walking through the small forest that the group had stopped next to. Picking up sticks as he saw them, a pair of Seedot ran by him.

I wonder what’s wrong, Max thought. Deciding to move on, his eyes glanced upon-

“A bright, crunchy apple!” he excitedly said to himself. Rushing over to pick it up, he stopped to see a blue, furry paw pick it up.

“A Munchlax…?” he asked himself. Slowly, the Munchlax lifted the apple over its head and dropped it into its mouth, swallowing it in one gulp.

“Ah-” he groaned. Then, with a change in personality, he shouted, “hey! I was going to eat that!” But, the Munchlax didn’t seem to notice him. Slowly, it turned around and started to waddle away.

“Huh…” Max groaned to himself.

“Max, where are you!?” his sister’s voice rang. Realizing he must be in trouble, Max turned around and started to jog in the direction of the campsite.

“I’m right here, May, don’t have a cow!” Max called.

Back at camp, Ash and Brock were recalling their Pokémon. It was odd, they seemed almost resistant to go in. For some reason, Swellow and Beautifly (that Brock returned into her ball, along with the rest of May’s Pokémon) refused to fly.

“Hey, what’s that?” Brock asked. Max stopped running towards the others as he turned to look at what was approaching. At a distance, it looked like a dot but as it got closer, Ash and his friends could see a streaking pattern of red , blue and purple: it was the indigo creature in speed form.

“It looks like a Pokémon,” May said. She and Ash simultaneously retrieved their Pokédex, digital encyclopedias of all the known Pokémon. But neither of them recognized the creature.

Unlike the modern-day creatures of Earth, the creature saw energy instead of objects. Five objects ahead were giving off extreme energy, one further away from the other four.

The creature made a dive for Max. Within seconds, it picked him up and started to fly in the direction it came from.

“May!” Max shouted. He wouldn’t dare try to shake loose, he was clearly above fifty feet from the ground. A fall from here would kill him.

“Max!” May shouted back, helpless to save her little brother.

Thinking quickly, Ash grabbed one of his Pokéballs and tossed it. “Go, Swellow!” he yelled, “Go chase Max and that thing!”

“Swellow!” Swellow said, and began to give chase.

The creature was not amused. It quickly turned around and threw Max into the air.

“Max!” May, Ash, and Brock shouted in fear.

Before Swellow, could even do anything, the creature used a Psychic attack. The impact sent Swellow flying, and he crashed right in front of the campsite. The creature, meanwhile, caught Max, and began to head back to its destination.

“May!” Max shouted, one more time.

“Max, hold on!” May shouted back, giving chase with Brock close behind her.

“Knocked out in one hit,” Ash grumbled, returning Swellow to his ball.

There was no hope in catching Max. The creature was far ahead of them. But they kept on running, tying to see where it was going. May was so focused on chasing after it, she didn’t even notice Max’s glasses on the ground. They had fallen off and shattered to pieces. No use in getting them now, Brock thought as he ran past them.

What seemed like hours was only a few minutes. The creature and Max were out of sight now, and the three were tired of running. But without any words, they kept on running until they couldn’t any more. May had almost run straight off a steep cliff, stopping just as she realizing where she was heading.

“Oof,” Brock grunted, tripping on crabgrass. Out of breath, Ash stopped behind him. All three were heavily panting.

“Max…” May said to herself, tears forming in her eyes. It had been her responsibility to watch after Max as they traveled. Max was gone and it was all her fault! It was her who insisted it was Max’s turn to gather firewood, and that may of very well ended his life. Not caring, May hardly notice Ash yell, “that thing is coming back!”

I know I left a lot of stuff unexplained like how Deoxys is fully recovered and why that building is called the Sky Pillar, but you'll just have to wait for future parts (if anyone's even reading this T.T).

Bah, are people at least reading?

“Damn!” Ash yelled in anger. What in the world was going on? Just ten minutes ago, everything seemed fine. Now they were being abducted.

Wiping back tears, May strangely could only think about Ash at this moment. It was unlike him to cuss, even in the most dire of situations. Then again, he did seem to always have a deep friendship with Max. Ash was always like the older brother she never had, and it seemed Max shared this feeling. They even fought like brothers. But now was not the time to be thinking about Ash, an odd Pokémon-like creature had come from nowhere and taken Max… and was now coming back for seconds.

“Hurry, hide!” Brock told the others. Obeying directions, Ash, May, and Pikachu followed him, looking for a place to hide. All four instantly saw the same spot: a large telephone pole, painted green, one in a long line they had been following to get to Adept City. It was unusually large, just big enough for them to hide behind. Ducking behind it, they realized they were not the only ones to have this idea.

“Munchlax, Munch!” the Munchlax muttered to itself. It had a small group of apples in front of it. There were six of them, ordered by color and size. Slowly, it reached out and picked up the nearest one, swallowing it hole like it had in front of Max. “Munch Munch,” it said, complimenting itself on finding these fine apples.

“Uh… okay,” Ash grumbled, slightly confused.

“Pika?” Pikachu asked, also confused.

The creature was close now. “Whirrrr,” it muttered, with a voice that seemed to be the combination of radio signals and a growl. It quickly changed from Speed form to a form with human-like arms and five fingers on each hand.

It flew down and stood on the ground. Leaning down, it grabbed the base of the telephone pole, a few inches away from Ash, May, Brock, Pikachu, and the Munchlax. It yanked and tugged, using every force of its physical strength to pull it out of the ground. After what seemed like a long time, it violently broke into two pieces.

“Ah!” May screamed, following Ash, Brock, and Pikachu as the jumped out of the way. They were forced flying in the small explosion, landing a few yards away. They all groaned, there were cuts and scrapes all over their bodies, but they were ultimately unharmed.

The same couldn’t be said for Munchlax.

“Munch…” it groaned, lying helplessly on the ground. It had been electrocuted, and a deep gashes was on his arm. The creature threw the destroyed telephone pole out of the way; it landed about thirty feet away, causing more violent electricity. Telephone wires had snapped and were sending sparks all over the grass. This was not a safe place to be.

With another “whirrrr,” the creature got into its speed form and lifted up Munchlax, letting it hand limp instead of cradling it like a baby like it should of in its condition. Getting into the air again, the indigo creature flew off again.

Distracted with all that was happening, the group was reluctant to hear a crackling noise out of the corner of their ears.

“Pika! Pika Pi!” Pikachu screamed. Indeed, the sparks had started a fire.

“A fire!” Brock shouted, repeating what Pikachu had just pointed out. He reached a threw one of his Pokéballs. “Go, Mudkip!” he yelled.

But, Mudkip did not emerge. The ball just landed, dangerously close to the fire.

“Mudkip!” Brock yelled in fear, rushing over to the ball.

“Brock, be careful!” May called to him, as he retrieved it.

The ball was now a dangerous thing to touch: it was heated by the fire, which was a mere inches away. Stuttering, Brock lifted up his leg and kicked it out into an open grass area.

“Aaaggh!” Brock screamed in anguish. The fire had, just for a moment, leapt onto his leg. It wasn’t serious, but he had just been burnt.

“Brock!” both May and Ash yelled. Ash ran to where Brock had kicked the ball; his gloves would be able to pick it up. “I am so glad I wear these things,” he said to himself. By the time Ash turned around, Brock had managed to limp out of the fire area, but they were all still in danger.

May, Brock, and Pikachu also ran to Ash, and all four were now fleeing for their lives. They stopped: the fire had circled them, the only way to escape was to jump down the cliff.

“Jump!” Brock forced himself to yell, already in mid-air. Ash and May nervously followed his example, Pikachu now on Ash’s shoulder.

There was yet another explosion behind them as they plummeted down the steep cliff this one louder than before. Glad they jumped when they did, the four friends began to bump into each other ad they fell. They hit the ground hard, adding to all the pain they had just received.

“Oh… God,” May said to herself.

“How’s your leg, Brock?” Ash asked, a tone of concern on his voice.

“Could be doing better,” Brock managed to groan.

“Pika, Pikachu!” Pikachu, insisted to Brock’s large camping bag. Ash understood; perhaps a Super Potion would help.

“A Super Potion!” Ash translated, “do you think it will help?”

“I don’t know,” Brock groaned, “if it works on the Pokémon, it might work on me.”

With his hands shaking, Ash unzipped the bag and dug out a Super Potion. “Just be glad we managed to grab our bags before that thing took Max,” he calmly said.

On the mention of Max’s name, May began to cry again. Deciding to ignore her as Brock needed more attention, Ash sprayed the contents of the orange bottle onto Brock’s leg.

Brock moaned. “The Pokémon are right, it does sting.” After a few moments, he added, “I think it’s starting to heal, it already feels better.”

“Great,” May sniffed.

A few quiet seconds later, they started to talk.

“What is that thing?” May asked rhetorically.

“I think it’s some kind of Pokémon,” Ash replied and then stated, “What I want to know is why it took Max and that Munchlax.”

“And it tried to take that telephone pole,” Brock reminded him. “And why didn’t Mudkip come out?”

“Pi Pikachu,’ Pikachu quietly mentioned.

“Just because Mudkip is upset he hasn’t evolved yet doesn’t mean he won’t come out,” Ash retorted. He then remembered Mudkip’s ball was in his hand, and gave it to Brock saying, “it’s cooled off.”

“We better hurry, that soulless thing will be back in a few seconds,” May observed.

As if one cue, the indigo creature did indeed re-appear in the sky, looking for a next target.

“It’s coming for us!” Ash yelled, quietly so it wouldn’t hear them.

“Pika!” Pikachu agreed.

Apparently taunting Ash, the creature made a sudden dive in a different direction, avoiding them completely.

“It changed course!” exclaimed Brock.

“Where’s it goin’?” Ash asked to no one in particular.

At about the same time, Team Rocket was tiredly walking across a dirt road not far away for Ash and the others were. All three were hungry and not afraid to steal any food they would fins.

“I’m so hungry I could eat a Donphan,” Jessie mumbled, holding her stomach.

“Live,” James added.

“Why aren’t we dead yet?” Meowth asked, also holding his stomach.

A few more stomach growls later, Jessie smelled something peculiar.

“Is that..?” she asked herself, turning in the direction of the fire, which was quickly spreading. “Ah, look, smoke!”

“Maybe it’s a fire…” James said, not putting up the effort to look.

“No, it’s a delicious barbeque just waiting for us to come to steal!” Jessie exclaimed, starry-eyed.

Meowth glanced over his shoulder. “Looks like an awful lot of smoke for it to be a barbeque.”

Angered, Jessie blurted out, “what’s with you two? It’s mouth-watering beef and I’m going to get a taste of it!”

“Hey, what’s that?” James asked, interrupting Jessie’s rage.

The indigo creature was zooming in on them.

“It’s some kind of Pokémon,” Jessie observed.

“Ah, the boss would love this!” Meowth beamed.

“Well-” Meowth began. But before he could explain why Giovanni would adore the creature, he was picked up by the creature.

“Meowth!” James said in shock, as he and Jessie grabbed onto the creature’s legs. It flew back up into the air, the two Team Rocket members hanging on for dear life. The creature was slightly annoyed they were dragging him down, but satisfied it had claimed three victims in one stroke. “Whirrrr,” it growled.

“Looks like we’re zooming off again!” all three thieves screamed as they were carried off.

At the base off the cliff, Ash pointed out, “it’s going away. We should find someplace to hide.”

“But… where?” May asked, with a tone of worry.

“I don’t know, but we better hurry before that thing comes back or the fire comes down the cliff!” Brock yelled.

“Right,” Ash agreed.

“Pika!” Pikachu also agreed, jumping onto Ash’s shoulder.

And the three began to run again, this time searching for a good place to hide. It was very similar to before, running on an open grass field with a forest to the right of them. As if answering their prayers, they heard a voice call out, “over here!” Not caring where they were going, they changed direction to the voice’s origin. Instantly, they noticed a two-story building made of some kind of metal, with a destroyed satellite dish in front. Before it’s destruction, it looked about twice as tall as Brock.

The trio ran past a middle-aged man and went through the front entrance. It was dark inside, as known of the lights were on. About three dozen people were inside, of all ages. Most of the children were crying hysterically. Looking at the surroundings, Ash quickly realized where they were.

“It’s a weather station,” he commented. It looked similar to the one they had been to earlier in their Hoenn travels.

“Yes,” the middle-aged man answered, quickly closing the door behind him, “Deoxys isn’t able to see us in here, it’s made of solid lead.”

“Deoxys?” May asked herself, “Is that the thing to took my little brother?!”

“Yes,” he responded like before. ‘It’s a long story, you might want to sit down.” At his request, the trio sat down and Pikachu climbed off of Ash onto the ground. “I’m Professor Lund and this is my son Tori,” he said, pointing at a boy standing in the corner of a wall. He wore a bright blue t-shirt and had bushy, white hair. He didn’t look very happy, then again, no one did, and why should they?

“Why is that thing taking people?” Ash demanded to know.

“Like I said, it’s a long story,” Professor Lund replied, “it started about four years ago-”

I'm not that interested in the Pokemon Anime or its movies but this is what Destiny Deoxys should be! Will there be guns & rocket launchers in the remake?

By the way it's Torkoal not Torkal. And the story is pretty interesting so far.

dark-rukario: I call the two Deoxys "Indigo" and "Emerald' in refrence to the Indigo League and Emerald game.

Butchimatic: There will probably be no guns, this isn't a human threat it's a Pokemon threat. But... that gives me some ideas. *ponder*

JoHn _C: Oh, you're right! My mistake.

Thanks for finding it... intresting... everyone. If you think it's bad you can just say so, I won't be offended.

Or, y'know, not. Tehe. I somehow got chapter four done rather quickly.

And I went back and corrected some typos and critical plot points in the earlier chapters. Feel free to point those out, they're certainly annoying.

On a side note, Professor Elm from the second generation originally made a cameo in this chapter but I edited him out.

“-and then Rayquaza flew away,’ Professor Lund continued explaining.

“Whoa,” was all Ash could say. Jay had just told them all about what had happened four years ago. All about the expedition to the Sky Pillar, how the professor’s wife died, and about the indigo Deoxys’s awakening.

“So… she-” May rambled, in slight shock over the woman’s violent death.

“Yes,” Lund quickly and firmly replied, determined to move on to the next subject, “over the next two years, the building our archeology company uses as its headquarters was built here in Adept City and named the Sky Pillar in memory of her.”

Ash, May, Brock, and Pikachu weren’t the only ones listening intently. A small amount of people in the weather station sill had no idea why all this was happening and were paying attention to every detail. Tori continued to sit in the corner.

“But, how did the Deoxys come back to life?” one of the younger children, about Max’s age asked.

“And why is it taking people?” Brock added sternly.

“I believe I can answer that,” a slightly metallic voice came from across the room. There was a slight shudder as the emerald Deoxys revealed itself from a doorway.

“Deoxys!” Ash bellowed. “Pikachu, thunder!”

“Pika-” Pikachu began, static leaping from his cheeks.

“Wait!” Tori suddenly called out.

“Pi?” Pikachu asked, stopping mid-attack.

“Please, do not attack,” the emerald Deoxys continued, a touch of worry on its voice, “I mean no harm.”

“Why!?” May asked accusingly.

“Because Emerald is on our side,” Lund explained as calmly as possible, “he- or it, rather, he was born before the era of gender- is on our side. Remember the green gem that crashed into the Sky Pillar ruins?”

“That was me,” Emerald continued, also trying to clam down, “I should explain-”

“No, I will,” Lund retorted, “You weren’t exactly… conscious the whole time. Son, will you help me out with some of the details?” Tori nodded. “Now then-” Lund began.

Sky Pillar Labs
Two Days Earlier

“Focus the LASER,” a scientist announced.

A fairly large group, about sixty or so, were in the laboratory, Professor Lund overseeing from the back of the room. This was a very risky procedure, trying to revive the energies of the green meteor that had landed at the ancient Sky Pillar four years ago. If Professor Lund was right, this could be a power source stronger than anything found on Earth, even nuclear power. It was predicted that if activated, this gem could power all of Japan for the next ten thousand years.

The space gem had been placed inside a sterile tube, about twenty feet tall with a LASER device connected to the roof of it. LASER technology was a growing field. It was a stretch, but it may be just the thing they need for this project.

“Temperature rising… 400 Kelvin degrees… 450 Kelvin degrees… 500 Kelvin degrees…” the scientist that had spoken from before read from the monitor. It was extremely dangerous to work with this kind of heat. If it escaped, the heat would instantly kill everyone present. Of course, there was protection. Twenty inches of an unnamed material surrounded the gem. This material was clear and very heat-resistant, so there was no possible way for the heat to escape.

But, alas, fate has its way of laughing at the so-called “impossible.” The S.S Titanic is a classic example of this. It was said to be the ship that could not sink, which was of course, disproved on its first voyage when it sailed through Seadra and Kingdra territory and hit the iceberg than forced it down below.

Professor Lund immediately knew something was wrong. Maybe it was the way it seemed suddenly warmer, maybe it was just animal instinct, but he knew somehow this was doomed to fail. Rising from his seat, he quickly moved across the room to the mean in charge of this.

“550 Kelvin degrees…”

“Stop this now,” Lund cautioned.

“Why, Professor?” the man asked, in a bored-like tone, pointing to one of the monitors. “Everything’s going according to plan.”

“No, something’s wrong, I know it,” Lund responded with a tone of authority.

“600 Kelvin degrees…”

“This could easily make our small company. We’ll all be rich, Jay, we’ll never have to worry about lack of funding again!” the man remarked.

“I don’t care, something is wrong and we need to stop now!” Lund answered, louder.

“Look, there’s nothing wrong! What are you talking about?” the man retorted, slightly annoyed.

“Stop it now!” Lund bellowed, louder than before. Most of the scientists turned their heads to look at him.

“650 Kelvin degrees…”

“No! I know you’re upset about your gelatin of wife, but shut up, old man! You don’t know what you’re talking about.” the young man scoffed.

“Something is wrong, and you’re going to die if you don’ stop this thing now, damn it!’ Lund bellowed. Everyone was looking at him now, eyebrows raised and mouths open.

“Shut up or leave!” the man shouted.

“You stupid kid!” Lund shouted back. He turned to the audience and added, “leave now or else you’ll die, I know it!”

Quite a few whispers and mumblings went through the lab. The crazy widower had finally had his break-down. Angrier than he had been in a long time, Lund stormed out of the room.

“Psycho…” the man in charge mumbled.

“700 Kelvin degrees…”

Outside, the professor was yelling hysterically. “Get out, run while you still can! Run or else you’ll die!’ Thankfully, nearly everyone that heard him began to flee the building, horrified. Not everyone that fled heard him, they had instead saw other people running in a panic. These people trusted Lund, unlike those stuck-up government officials and A-rated scientists that thought him a crackpot.

“750 Kelv-”

The explosion from the sterile chamber killed those in the lab instantly, before they even knew what happened. At such high temperatures, they melted away in split-seconds, a truthfully painful death. The entire city heard the explosion. Nothing was visible from outside except a few busted windows, but inside the top four floors were literally melted away.

A few moments later, after the dust cleared, the emerald creature stood in the remains.

“Whirrrr,” it asked, confused on what had happened. In a panic, it quickly flew off through a large window.

At that very same moment, off the coast of the island with the Sky Pillar ruins, the indigo creature arose from the water, causing a somewhat small whirlpool. With a more content “whirrrr,” it observed its surroundings , switched to speed form, and headed to the location of its eternal rival.

In Adept City, there was quite a lot of confusion. What was that loud explosion? Why is everyone in such a panic? Worried about his father, Tori continued his stroll through the park, albeit at a slightly quicker pace.

“Whirrrr,” came a sound from above. Surprised, Tori raised his head to see a bizarre Pokémon with a green gem in its chest flying above. With another strange “whirrrr” it landed mere ten feet away from him. There was a short pause.

“Uh… hello?” Tori asked it.

“Whirrrr,” it responded, a green flash appearing in its eyes. After a few more silent moments, the glow faded from its eyes.

“Hello,” it responded.

“Oh, you do speak Japanese,” Tori awed.

“In a way. My species communicates in a system of radio waves. I’m using my psychic powers to divert these waves into your language,” the Pokémon answered.

“Oh… I, uh, see. So, what is your species called?” Tori asked reluctantly.

“Vaguely translated into your language, I am one of the Deoxys species,” the Deoxys answered, keeping its smooth, robotic, and slightly hypnotizing voice the same.

“Cool,” Tori said, a bit more confident, “so, what’s your name?”

“My species do not use names. We distinguish ourselves with visible radio waves.”

“Uh-huh,” Tori muttered.

“Perhaps I shall show them to you,” the creature spoke. Waving its hand, a tiny cloud of green waves appeared before Tori.

“Ah, green. Green’s my favorite color, y’know,” Tori remarked in amazement.

“Favorite color?” the Deoxys asked.

“Yeah, don’t you have one?” Tori chuckled, with a know-it-all voice.

“I guess it would be emerald,” it replied, pointed to its cloud of energy.

“Emerald, huh? That sounds like a cool name. I’ll call ya that!” Tori giggled.

“Now tell me-” Emerald began.

“Tori!” Tori interrupted.

“Tori. Have you seen any others like me?” Emerald asked.

Suddenly a dark memory returned to Tori. “Yes,” he answered.

“Where?” Emerald demanded.

“It was four years ago. It was purple. I think it killed my mom,” Tori answered, trying not to have his voice crack in front of his new friend.

“I… feel sorry for your loss. But have you seen it, the indigo one, more recently?” Emerald stuttered.

“No, Rayquaza destroyed it,” Tori struggled to say.

“Rayquaza?” Deoxys asked. But before Tori could go into details, a psychic bolt of energy barely missed him.

“Indigo,” Emerald said as sternly as it could. It arose into the air and assumed defense form, blocking Indigo’s psychic blasts from doing any real damage.

Tori watched horrified as his new friend and his mother’s killer battled in the air. With each attack, they arose higher and higher until they faded out of sight. Mouth agape, Tori stood looking at the sky until a figure started to fall. With a loud thud, Indigo hit the ground, Emerald chasing it in attack form. Indigo got up off the ground onto its two feet and regained normal form. It grabbed the tree next to it, and the tree began to wither away into dust. A Seedot jumped out of the tree, and a Wingull flew away as their home was being destroyed.

When the tree was nothing but a ball of dust floating in mid-air, Indigo absorbed it into the palms of its hands. Not satisfied, it looked for a next target. It glanced upon Tori and began to advance upon him. In shock, Tori did not run; there was nothing to do.

WHAM! From out of seemingly nowhere, Emerald in defense form had leaped in front of Tori and Indigo rammed into him.

“Whirrrr,” Indigo growled. Instead of picking a fight, it turned to speed form and flew off in the opposite direction, picking up the homeless Seedot on its way.

“This is bad,” Emerald said, picking up Tori and flying in a different direction than Indigo. “Tori, look for anyone you don’t want to die.”

Tori let out a light gasp and began to search for his father. “What’s goin’ on?” he asked.

“Indigo is still injured from its ‘death’ with this Rayquaza you mentioned,” Emerald replied, a state of emergency on his voice, “add on the blow I gave him just now and it needs to feed off the life of others. It needs to kill and absorb life like it did to that tree to survive.”

“Oh my God,” Tori gasped. Deciding it best not to comment, he continued surveying the ground for his father. Indigo had cost him his mother, and he was not going to let him take away the only family he had left.

“There,” Tori whispered, pointing out his father. Emerald swooped down low. There was a loud outbursts as people saw the alien creature approach them. Emerald quickly picked up Lund with one hand, holding Tori in the other arm.

“Let go of me, you monster! Killer!” Lund screamed as loudly as he could.

“Please clam down, sir,” Emerald interrupted.

“Dad, this is the good Deoxys, he saved me from the bad one,” Tori exclaimed, exasperated.

“Tori, stop that nonsense!” Lund bellowed.

“Trust me, Daddy,” Tori sighed.

There was an awkward silence, aside form the people down below screaming and yelling. Jay sighed and accepted his son’s statement, as Emerald flew them to safety.

The Weather Station

“…and then Emerald created a shield around this place. Indigo can’t get in. I don’t think he even knows this place exists,” Tori finished.

“So that’s why the Pokémon are acting strangely. The Deoxys are altering the environment with their radiation powers,“ Brock commented, trying to figure everything out, “and that telephone pole that Indigo destroyed while trying to get to us must have been part of the Pokéball system, explaining why we the Pokémon can’t come out of their balls.

“Don’t forget that Indigo destroyed the electricity plant!” the voice of a male teenager from across the room mentioned.

“What about Max, damn it!?” May screeched. She was really hurting. Her little brother was going to die or already dead and she couldn’t do anything about it.

“Indigo only needs to feasts on four souls a day,” Emerald calmly pointed out, “I’m sure we can somehow save everyone by the time Indigo will have gotten to your brother.”

“Yeah, May,” Ash said, smoothly putting his hand on May’s shoulder, “I’m sure he’ll be fine.”

“Oh, Ash…” May sighed, breaking into tears.

“Yeah, babe, I’m sure your brother will live!” the voice of the male teenager from before echoed out. A boy about Ash’s age wearing a brown shirt and red headband walked towards May and Ash, “I’m Sid, and do you mind if I call you the only good thing this situation has produced? Be it fate or space aliens, we have been brought together!”

“Oh…. Uh…” May stammered, trying to think of a way to put this idiot down gently.

‘This guy’s got worse pick-up lines then Brock,” Ash whispered to Pikachu.

‘Pika Pika,” Pikachu sighed.

“So, Emerald,” Brock asked out of the blue, “how are we going to save all those people?”

“Well...” Emerald answered, “I have no idea whatsoever.” There was a loud thud as Ash hit the ground.

A few seconds later
About thirty yards away

The fire was dying down. Water Pokémon from around their area had used water attacks on it, as others did what they could, be it throwing dirt or trying to blow it down. Thankfully, the fire seemed to stay in one spot rather than jump to the forest and destroy most of the Pokémon’s homes.

“Plusle Plusle!” a Plusle asked his friend.

“Minun?” the Minun asked, equally confused.

“Plusle!” Plusle responded.

“Minun Minun Minun!” Minun exclaimed. That purple creature was coming back!

“Poli!” a nearby Poliwag offered to help.

“Plus Plus!” Plusle eagerly agreed.

“Poliwag Poli!” Poliwag announced.

“Minun,” Minun groaned.

“Plusle!” Plusle gasped, jumping behind Minun.

“Mi,” Minun said defensively.

“Poliwag,” Poliwag told them, running off.

Plusle and Minun stood side-by-side and began to run to the afore-mentioned building with the destroyed satellite dish in front.

or if you dont know ask someone who does

1st August 2005, 8:29 AM
Will Team Rocket or any other Pokemon die?

You should make a Pokemon 3, 4Ever or Heroes remake.

Vayne: Meh... I suck at making flashes, and this story is supposed to be movie-length, I don't think anybody's willing to make an hour and a half flash. XD

Butchimatic: None of the main characters on the show die, but there will be a bunch more death. And all the movies you listed are too awesome to be re-wrote. *redundant smiley here*

Everyone: Thanks for the compliments! Seriously, if no one was replying I would of stopped.

I'm mean if rayquaza is the peace keeper with groudon and kyogre I always very well thought he could control them, but your fic not mine ^^

I really don't care for flash movies. My internet's kinda slow so it would never load. But, it's your fic, get someone to make a flash movie of it. Or not. It's really up to you. I'm done.

To put this blunty,

No flash movies! XD Who would want to watch a ninty minute flash?

And about Tori trusting Emerald so quickly, it's needed to make the plot work there will be more on that later. My version of Tori is going to have a few surprises in the next couple of chapters.

Ah, here we go. Sorry, it's kind of short and not really worth the wait but here it is.

And just so you know, a part involving Sid naked was cut out because... Sid was naked.

“I know what you’re thinking,” Emerald announced.

“Whirrrr,” Indigo responded.

Several hours had passed since Professor Lund’s explanation. It was now about one in the morning, and the two mortal enemies were having a chat, floating over the partially burned-down forest. Flocks of Taillow flew away, warning the other inhabitants of their home to evacuate.

“You’re thinking that you should just kill me now. We’ve been waiting since the beginning of this universe’s time to finish this off,” Emerald continued.

“Whirrrr,” Indigo snapped, which translates vaguely to “Stop trying to sucker me into this. You know we’re unevenly matched.”

“Yes,” Emerald replied, “the beast of the same color as I and the young human.”

Indigo’s eyes flashed a brilliant purple. “Yes,” it said.

“I see you decided to speak the humans’ language,” Emerald commented, “Why?”

“So when the final showdown begins…” Indigo sighed, “They will understand why they must die.”

“Ah,” Emerald groaned softly, “I told the humans the reason you are taking their life force is because I severely damaged you.”

“I see you still have a large ego then, Emerald,” Indigo chuckled with an inhuman laugh.

“I understand why one of us must die,” Emerald sighed, “but it’s disappointing. We were such good friends in our youth.”

“Yes,” Indigo agreed, “but we still must honor the ways of our kind, even if we are the only two left.” There was a pause. “It’s ironic. When I first saw you taking my cosmic waves all that time ago, I did not recognize you. I thought you were a stranger. It took me a long time to realize who you were.”

“Rocketing through space for an uncountable amount of years does give you a lot of time to think,” Emerald joked. Another paused followed.

“What are these creatures besides the humans? Pokémon, I believe?” Indigo asked.

“Indeed. These humans think of themselves superior. They keep them in electronic balls they call Pokéballs. If I’m not mistaken, these Pokéballs turn the Pokémon into energy and store them for later use.”

“Hmph. That actually sounds pretty comfortable. For our species, anyways. Are we considered Pokémon?” Indigo asked.

“I suppose so,” Emerald replied, “One young one named Ash tried to attack me with his electric Pokémon, Pikachu. He was traveling with an older male and younger female. They said you took the female’s younger brother.”

“Let me think,” Indigo said, trying to recall his earlier victims, “Yes, I think I might remember them. They hid behind a large electric pole. Rather ingenious, really, although they probably didn’t realize their brilliance of hiding behind something with so much energy. I actually tried to take it until I pulled it out of the ground and the energy left. The wreckage caused a fire.”

“Hm,” Emerald sighed, “Could you at least save the young one for late in your feast? You may not even need him. In fact, if I were you, I would stop collecting energy in the first place. The combined strength of a dragon, a little boy, and me shouldn’t be more than what you’ve collected. Just try to get equal in strength with me, not above. If we are not evenly matched we might as well not battle at all.”

“I agree,” Indigo said, “I will have my final feast tonight, avoiding that young boy unless absolutely necessary.”

“Good,” Emerald replied, “Until we meet again.”

And with that, the two Deoxys went separate ways: one to the weather station, the other to Sky Pillar, co.

The Weather Station
A few moments earlier

Tori was alone in the dark office. He had checked to make sure no one was nearby. Peering through the small window of the door, he assured to himself nobody would interrupt him. Anxious, Tori turned to the beige-colored desk. He opened the bottom drawer and shuffled through seemingly pointless files until he found his answer: a rope, about three meters long.

Tori slowly approached the tiny closet. He carefully opened the wooden door so nobody would be able to hear it. Standing on his toes, he quietly wrapped the rope around the clothes hanger, brushing some smelly jackets aside. After what seemed like hours, the rope formed an O, perfect for slipping one’s head into.

Tori stood back and looked at his death machine. He paused, doubting himself if he should do this or not. Intense emotions pounded through his head, so hard that it gave him a headache. It felt like a little man was running in there. Or like a psychological surge, which Tori was all too familiar with.

Downstairs in the lobby, Emerald floated through the doorway. Yet another slight shudder went through the room. Many of the children were asleep now, resting on the few couches locating near the window. Swallowing her courage, May approached the alien.

“Emerald, are we going to get all of those people back?” she demanded to know.

“Yes,” Emerald calmly responded, turning to the people that were awake, “We will try to save the people that Indigo took the past two days tomorrow night.”

There was a surprised outburst. What did it mean exactly by “we”? There was no way many of these people would go straight into what they considered Hell itself at the moment.

“We?” Professor Lund asked before anyone else.

“Whoever wants to go, at least. Indigo has permanently stopped taking people, as I have found out from spying. He has found more than enough energy, we need to go before he can kill too many people, it will take him several hours to be satisfied,” Emerald lied.

“You know where he is?” Brock asked, surprised.

“In the Sky Pillar,” Emerald answered, “Whoever wants to go will have to go before me. I will be re-arranging the molecules of the destroyed Pokéball system poll. As I do that, everyone who comes will try to silently abduct Indigo’s surviving victims. When I finish, I will join you and you can let out your Pokémon to use against Indigo. Hopefully he will be shocked and we can destroy him without any loss of life on our side.”

That was the key word. Hopefully. No one wanted to die, that was the biggest fear. An awkward silence swept across the lobby.

“I’m going. I have to save Max,” May said, determined.

“If May’s going, I am!” Sid bellowed, “I’ll save your brother!” May tried not to roll her eyes.

“I’m going,” Ash volunteered.

“Me, too,” Brock added.

“Wonderful,” Emerald said. “Don’t be surprised if anything… unusual… happens to your Pokémon. It will go back to normal after everything is settled.

“Pi?” Pikachu questioned the “unusual” part.

“I suggest everyone that goes gets a good night’s sleep. You’ll need it,” Professor Lund yawned.

Upstairs, Tori stood facing the rope in the darkness. Should I do it? Tori thought to himself. It couldn’t be so bad. Just a few minutes of struggling, then death. It’s not like he hadn’t felt anything indescribable lately. But really, did he just want to continue-

“Mi! Minun Mi!” a squeaky voice interrupted Tori’s thoughts.

Gasping, he turned around to see what had made that noise.

“Plusle Plusle!” a similar voice squawked.

The Plusle and Minun were by the one window in the room. Or rather, one was in the window and the other was in the room. The Plusle struggled to escape the window’s grasp, trying to lean into the room to be with its friend. A fall from the second story would kill, or at least injure, it.

“Mi Mi!” the Minun screeched for help, turning to Tori.

“Uh… hold on,” he answered. He walked over to the window, careful to avoid stepping on the Minun. He slipped his left hand inside the window, putting it behind the Plusle’s back to catch it if it fell. He quickly opened the window and the Plusle began to fade from sight.

“Mi!” Minun yelled. But, of course, Plusle landed in the palm of Tori’s left hand. Tori lifted Plusle back into the room and let it jump off next to Minun. The two cheering Pokémon called out loudly.

Tori let out another gasp as his head swung around to the entry to the office. Ash stood wearing his black shirt and blue jeans, with Pikachu at his ankles. Pikachu’s cheeks were illuminated, making a glow cover the area.

“Hey, Tori,” Ash said coolly, walking in, “What’cha doin’ in the dark?”

“Uh…” Tori said nervously, “I heard these Plusle and Minun. The Plusle was stuck in the window and I helped it out.”

“Pika!” Pikachu laughed, running to Plusle and Minun.

“Great,” Ash said, watching the electric mice Pokémon. After a few moments, his eyes began to look around the dark surroundings. He began to look around the closet-

“Hey!” Tori shouted at him. Ash quickly turned his head, a puzzled look on his face.

“Uh, did Emerald get back yet?” Tori asked.

“Yeah,” Ash sighed, “Tomorrow a bunch of us are going to try and stop Indigo.”

“Good,” Tori quickly responded, trying to keep Ash’s attention. “Let’s go get some sleep.”

“Yeah, your had the same idea,” Ash yawned. The two of them left the dark room into the hall, the electric Pokémon following their heels, all three of them giving off light. Suddenly, the sound of flowing water came from ahead of them. “What’s that?” Ash asked.

“Let’s go find out!” Tori screeched, almost yelling.

They began to quickly descend down the hallway to another office. Ash and Tori peered up against the door. Water could be heard splashing all over the floor.

“Let’s go,” Ash whispered. It was some kind of game. They all knew it couldn’t be anything serious, but it was fun to act like it was. Ash quietly opened the door, and they all tip-toed into the room. Quietly, they snuck near another door in the room where the sound was originating from.

“On three. Ready?” Ash commanded.

“One… two…” they said together. Quickly pushing the door out of the way, they arrived in the bathroom to find May taking a shower. Mouth agape, Ash rushed to put his hand over Tori’s eyes. May paused. She tossed her head to one side to see her visitors.

“AHH! GET OUT, GET OUT, GET OUT!” she screamed at them, tossing towels in a mad fury. They quickly ran out of the bathroom, out of the office and ran back down the hall. After a long run in a short distance, they paused to catch their breath.

“Hey, what was all that?” Sid, who just happening to be near, asked.

“We saw May taking a shower,” Tori said between breaths.

“All right!” Sid yelled. He began to run towards the office-

-until Ash grabbed his ear and kept him from seeing his friend. “Not for you!” he yelled, struggling to hang on. “How do Misty and Max do it?” he asked himself.

Back in the office where Tori saved Plusle

It was now about two in the morning. Tori had to wait for Plusle and Minun to fall asleep; they seemed to have a liking to him. Maybe it was because Tori had saved Plusle. Maybe it was because they just naturally liked everyone. Whatever it was, Tori tried not to think about it. He was about to commit suicide, after all.

Finally building up enough will, Tori began to ascend towards the rope. He had convinced himself he had to save himself from-

“Emerald?” Tori asked. A green glow illuminated the room as Emerald floating into it.

“What are you doing?” Emerald demanded to know.

“Nothing! I just couldn’t get to sleep-”

“Liar!” Emerald shouted at him.

“I was just-”

“I know what you’re thinking,” Emerald said for the second time that night, only this time he really did.

“You-” Emerald’s voice rose, “are going to stop it.”

Emerald swung his hand into the air, Tori rising with it. “I can’t let you die. Because if you do, Rayquaza and I will too!” Emerald slammed Tori into the ground with a hard impact. Its eyes gleamed green, and Tori instantly knocked out.

“Good old psychological surge,” Emerald said to himself.

Muchlax must die!I had Munchlax get caught in the middle of an explosion and severly injured. Then I had Indigo kidnap it, and if you remember, Indigo literally sucks the life out of stuff. Yeah, I don't really like Munchlax either. ;)

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. ^_^ The whole Tori/Emerald/Rayquaza thing will be a huge part of the plot, with a couple of twists. And don't think Indigo won't get involved on it.

And just so ya know, the next chapter will focus on Max, TR, and a couple of new characters.

Then again, if I was writing all this carnage and death, along with naked May, they'd still have my head. Oh well, Munchlax isn't going to die. But it will be ignored for the majority of the fic, and mentioned very little.

Anyways, I sincerly apoligize for the lack of new chapters. Going through a bit of writer's bock since, quite frankly, the next chapter is boring as heck. Just know that I have decided on the number of chapters, and their titles. Hooray. The last few are so spoiler-ful, I'm not even going to post them. ;)

6: Burnt Away
7: Resuce Mission
8: Pokemon Battle
9: The End
10: Revelations
12: Dirty

Whee. I'm finally getting a chance to write the rest. *goes to work on it* Expect it today or tomorrow.

Oh, and believe it or not, Professor Cozmo was going to be in it. Fortunately, today's episode (thank god my VCR timer was working) recorded his appearance. So I'm having to go back and totally re-write him out. *groans* Oh well, his precense didn't do anything for the plot, anyways.

And speaking of which, why did no one point out I mispelled Tory's name? O.o Ah well, too late to go back and edit (you don't want the next chapter delayed more do you?). I'll keep mispelling it for the sake of continuity.

And here it is. Now for the week-long wait for chapter seven.

Hopefully, I'm joking.

Earlier that Day

“May!” Max shouted. He wouldn’t dare try to shake loose; he was clearly above fifty feet from the ground.

Max could barely see where he was going. Realizing his glasses had fallen off when this unusual creature threw him. Closing his eyes and bracing the worse, Max waited for his sister and her friends to save him. But that of course didn’t happen. After what seemed like ages of flying through the air, the creature’s speed began to slow down. Literally, it was going from Speed form to Normal. Max felt himself being placed on soft tiles. He opened his eyes, hoping the thing was gone.

And indeed it was. It had changed back to Speed form in the blink of an eye and was hurtling back to get this human’s older companions. A slight murmuring swept through wherever Max was. He looked around to see he wasn’t the only one that had been kidnapped. Dozens of blurry people were sitting in a rather large, hot room. It seemed like an explosion had gone off in this building, the roof had been blown to pieces and the remains of what seemed to be a large laboratory had caved into this lobby.

“Where am I?” Max asked himself quietly, tears welling up in his eyes.

“Kid, you better get away from that hole,” a girl’s voice warned.

“Hole..?” Max asked, looking behind him. If his glasses weren’t already off, they would be now. Max was almost halfway out of the building. He gaped at the city bellow him, nearly falling out.

“Gotcha!” the same voice cried, as the person it belonged to grabbed Max’s wrist. She firmly dragged him across the room.

“Thank you,” Max said between breaths, “what’s your name?”

“Rebecca,” she answered, smoothly pulling him back into the burnt-down room. Although Max couldn’t see clearly, he could tell Rebecca was about 18; had long, purple hair; and wore cylinder glasses. The emotion of his face was a combination of grave and exhausted.

“Who was that Pokémon?” Max asked, still panting deeply.

“Deoxys. I’m in intern at what used to be Sky Pillar co. - here.” She paused as she gestured to the partially-destroyed room, “supposedly, this company brought one out of a sleeping state, which I’m guessing drew this purple one here. I don’t know where the other is, it’s probably terrorizing some other city.”

“…fascinating,” Max managed to wrestle out of his throat, trying to impress Rebecca with his forced maturity. What he wanted to do was cry.

A girl about the same age as Max glared at him angrily. It was as if it was wrong to be fascinated with these circumstances. He stopped his charade and went into his true feelings, though holding back the tears. The nervous chatter that flowed through the room suddenly broke into silence.

Deoxys had returned, this time with the injured Munchlax. Deoxys rolled it onto the ground and flew off, continuing its search. After a few more quiet seconds, noise started up again.

“The Munchlax,” Max gasped, sliding to its side, “I saw it before.”

“Deoxys has been bringing in several Pokémon like that,” Rebecca mentioned, “I think I still have some Super Potion left.”

Rebecca revealed a purple laptop bag from beside her. She opened a pocket and took out a small, orange bottle full of Super Potion. She pulled the trigger, but nothing would come out; it was nearly or already empty.

“C’mon,” Max grumbled.

After many unsuccessful sprays, Deoxys returned again. This time, Team Rocket were the victims. The silence returned, and Max began to become accustomed to the pattern. Rebecca hadn’t explained to Max that Deoxys was killing the people it had kidnapped, but Max realized that if a creature could cause this much fear, it must not have the most noble of intentions.

Or maybe it did.

Two Days Ago
Hours after Emerald, Tori, and Prof. Lund began to hide at the weather station.

Tori and Emerald were in a room of the upper floor. It was almost sunset, and bright light came in through the blinds. It was almost surreal that all this was happening.

“Tori, are you aware that we’re not so different?” Emerald asked, an apocalyptic tone ringing through its metallic voice.

“We aren’t?” Tori asked.

“No, in fact we have a lot in common. You, me, and Rayquaza,” Emerald responded.

“Rayquaza?” Tori asked. What was it talking about?

“Tori,” Emerald began, “I’m about to explain to you… everything.”

Two Days Later
Sky Pillar Co.

Team Rocket groaned, looking around at their surroundings.

“Hey! It’s the smallest of the twerps!” Meowth pointed out.

“Should we do the motto?” James asked, “I’m still hungry.”

“We need to support Team Rocket, you lazy!” Jessie yelled at him. She stood up and began their motto, “Prepare for trouble!”

“Make it double,” James continued, with a sudden change of attitude.

“You know these two?” Rebecca asked Max, trying to avoid listening to their poetic lines.

“More than I’d like too,” Max sighed.

“To denounce the evils of truth and love!”

“To extend our reach to the stars above!”

“Uh, how exactly?” Rebecca asked, raising an eyebrow.

“They’re Team Rocket. They follow me, my sister, and her friends around Heonn,” Max explained.

“Jerks,” Rebecca groaned.

“Surrender now or prepare to fight, fight, fight!” James finished.

“Meowth, that’s right!” Meowth added.

Team Rocket and Max all waiting for Wobbuffet to pop out of its Pokéball and say its name, finishing the motto. But Wobbuffet left the motto open.

“Hey, where’s Wobbuffet?” Meowth asked.

“I don’t know,” James answered, “you know, I liked what it added to the motto. It made it feel more complete.”

“We don’t care!” Jessie barked. She began to try to get Wobbuffet to come out. “Come on out.”

It still wouldn’t come out. Rebecca took a Pokéball out of the laptop case and pressed the bottom, making it large enough for a Pokémon to exit when called upon. She continued pressing the button, but no Pokémon came out. Others in the room attempted to get their Pokémon out, to no avail.

“There must be something wrong with the Pokéball system. My Metagross won’t come out,” Rebecca said.

“What?” Max asked, feeling a rise. You have a Metagross and you didn’t try to get out of here?”

“I did,” Rebecca snapped back, “Deoxys put up a force field around this place, we can’t get out!”

“Deoxys?” Jessie asked her teammates.

“That must be the thing that brought us here,” James said.

“Well, whatever,” Max sighed, “what about Munchlax?”

“Oh, right,” Rebecca sighed, continuing her attempts at spraying it. She was too preoccupied to notice the silence as Deoxys returned to the room, with a frightened Taillow in its hand.

Its sort of ironic. The human Indigo shared a bond with had just seen a boy named Brock be healed with a Super Potion. The exact moment that Rebecca sprayed Munchlax with her bottle’s remains was the exact moment Indigo received the thought of his human’s sight of Ash spraying Brock with Super Potion. A bit creepy, seeing the same action performed at the same time, even for a nearly eternal being from before the creation of the universe.

Feeling a bit uneasy, Indigo decided to see here with the humans and these other creatures. With a purple flash, all of Indigo’s body but the gem disappeared as it took a nap. All were silent, except for-

“Munchlax!” the Munchlax awed. It crept over to the floating, purple gem and admired it. Then, without warning, Munchlax jumped up and stuffed it into its mouth without using its hands.

“Ah, Munchlax!” Max gasped. It was now choking, trying to swallow the gem.

“Hold on,” Rebecca said. She reared back her arm and slapped Munchlax over the back of the head. Indigo’s gem went flying through the room and slammed against the wall, waking it from its sleep.

“Whirrrr,” Indigo growled. Its eyes once again glowed purple. Max and Munchlax began to fall asleep…

“NOOOOOO!” a piercing scream baked the room.

Slowly, Max and Munchlax opened their eyes. It was night now. Stirring from their induced slumber, they looked around the room. Odd, grey dust creepily blew through.

“What-?” Max asked himself.

“AAAHHHH!” another scream came.

Max swung his head around to see the purple Deoxys standing in the middle of a large amount of dust. People were terrified, young children screaming. What was it doing?

“Max, close your eyes!” Rebecca ordered, terrified.

Not paying attention to her, Max watched what was happening. Another scream followed. Deoxys picked up a middle-aged man by the throat. His life faded away from him as Deoxys’s gem glowed brightly. His skin became white and his arms limb as he wrestled out a scream. When Deoxys was complete, the man in his hand was more than dead; he looked like there was nothing left. The corpse began to fade away into haunting grey dust.

Max was horrified at the terrible death and watched as Deoxys killed these people. He was letting the tears flow now. It then turned to the girl that Max recognized as the girl that glared at him when he said “fascinating”. With another haunting shrill, she was dust within seconds.

“Who are you?” Max gasped, water rushing down his cheeks.

The purple Deoxys turned its head toward him. “Go back to sleep,” it said. With another purple flash, Max fell unconscious again.

Whee. A Ho-Oh. :)

Believe it or not, Ho-Oh was originally going to have a cameo in the story, but I took it out.

*dodges crazed Ho-Oh lovers' fists*

Hey! Stop it! I had to take a lot of stuff out so it wouldn't be 25+ chapters (which it was originally going to be). For example, the Professor Cozmo and naked Sid things. In the latest chapter, it continued to when Max woke up again, and believed Munchlax to be dead. But it was really confusing and dumb, so no dead Munchlax tease for you. In the second version, it would still continue to when he wakes up, but it would kind of have a spoiler in it that I didn't want to reveal yet, so I just decided to take it out all together and end on Indigo knocking Max out.

And speaking of spoilers, the "two days earlier" part in this chapter was supposed to continue until the end of Emerald's and Tori/Tory's little conversation. But I'm cruel-hearted, so I shortened it.

I also took out a good bit of Advanceshipping. Mostly because I'm a Contestshipper. ;)

Director's Cut? I'm not even exactly sure what that is. XD A commentary? Thanks for the compliments, guys. I'm writing chapter seven now. (I love Typhlosion too, btw.)

Anyways, I've changed some titles of the upcoming chapters. They were tenetive, anyways. Just to make everything organized, here's a list:

1: The Beginning
2: Just Another Normal Day
3: In Danger
4: Unintended Consequences
5: Ways of Our Kind
6: Burnt Down
7: Rescue Mission
8: Pokemon Battle
9: The End
10: In the Air

And just so you know, I've found the perfect way to end the fic... perfect to me, at least. I kind of dug myself into a hole and there was almost no way to defeat/contain/destroy/kill/maim the villian/threat/killer/area/whatever. But I just realized how it could work. Hooray for me. ;)

Who said either of the Deoxys would die? ;) There are seven possibilties:

1) They both live.
2) They both die.
3) Indigo lives, Emerald dies.
4) Emerald lives, Indigo dies.
5) It was all a dream.
6) Mewtwo comes from nowhere and makes everyone forget.
7) Indigo is Ash's father.

Pick one.

23rd August 2005, 12:59 AM
The last two would be very random and the fact that it was all a dream would suck... I'm going to go with 2) and 7) because I alway's wondered who ash's father was even though i HIGHLY doubt Indigo is his father and i like the number 2>_<

It's called "Rescue Mission". Just note that I refer to Ash as Satoshi at one point, and I will do that when situatiosn like I did it present themselves. (Did that make any sense?) So, um... here it is.

Ash could vaguely hear what sounded like screams in the distance.Grumbling, he blinked his eyes. Figuring the “screams” to be generic outdoors sounds, Ash yawned and got off of the couch. It was almost noon. Surprisingly, he was one of the few people awake. It was hard to get to sleep last night, knowing that tomorrow would be very dangerous.

“We got any food?” he asked while stretching, asking no one in particular.

“Just some junk,” Brock responded, tossing a bag of potato chips at him. Ash grabbed it in the air.

“Pika Pika…” Pikachu giggled happily.

Ash turned his focus to see Pikachu gleefully sitting on the floor, licking ketchup out of a large bottle, nearly as big as him. Ash rolled his eyes, knowing it was impossible to get through to the mouse when ketchup was distracting him. Ash pulled open the bag and began his unhealthy breakfast.

“Emerald’s outside, trying to put that Pokéball system pole back together,” Brock continued, “I wonder why it isn’t worried about Indigo attacking him.”

Before Ash could remind him that Indigo was done with its strolls, the angry stomping of May entered the lobby.

“Mornin’, May,” Ash greeted her.

“Hmph!” she replied, lifting her nose up. She immediately went back upstairs.

“I think she’s been waiting for you to get up all morning, just to ignore you,” Brock laughed.

Now why is May mad at me, Ash thought. Shrugging it off, he began to remember last night and the unfortunate shower incident.

“Sh!t,” Ash groaned.

He bonked his forehead with the palm of his right hand while stilling holding the chip bag. Ignoring Brock’s laughter and Pikachu’s unusual grunts, Ash sighed and began his trip upstairs. How was he going to apologize for seeing May naked? It was an accident. Well, sort of. He had known someone had been taking a shower, but he was tired and not thinking clearly.

Lazily walking up the steps, May was sitting on the top step, seemingly waiting for him.

“I’m… sorry?” Ash said. No, stupid! It was supposed to be a statement, not a question!

“For what? Seeing me naked? Oh, it’s no big deal,” she said, trying to be casual.

Ash was a man. Well, not a grown one, but still a man. No man agreed with everything 100 percent with any other man. Friendships broken, betrayal acted, wars started, all because of men being too stubborn to agree with each other. But there is one thing every man, young and old, can agree on.

Women are confusing as hell.

“What? You just went down just to lift your nose up at me!” Ash barked back, annoyed.

“Well maybe you were just being paranoid,” May responded in her fake casual voice, waving her hand around in the air.

Ash’s jaw almost dropped. “You know what? Screw it.” He angrily stormed off down the hall.

Trying to keep up her act, May pretended not to care. With a “humph,” she began to inspect her nails. Waiting until Ash’s footsteps faded into the distance, she worriedly glanced over her shoulder. What had she done wrong? Was it too obvious that she was pretending like nothing had happened?

“Of course you were,” Emerald responded.

May lost her breath for a second. She didn’t expect anyone to respond to her private thoughts.

“You can read minds?” she asked, hoping it didn’t hear some of her more personal feelings.

“Vaguely,” it explained, “Next time you try to trick someone, don’t throw yourself at them. Don’t approach or wait for them.” It knew all about lying and manipulating.

“Ah… okay,” May shakily said.

Emerald began to float down the same hallway that Ash had just walked down. Recalling last night’s happenings, it psychically opened the door of the office where Tori was caught about to commit suicide. He was still knocked out, and wouldn’t be until Indigo awoke him. A psychological surge causes the brain to lock up. The lungs don’t breathe, the heart stops, there is only one thing keeping you alive. And there is only one way to bring you out of near-death.

Emerald’s eyes glowed green. With another surge, Tori came to. Surges cause immense pain, as you literally die. It is an uneasy feeling, and it seems as soon as you are knocked out, you come back, with an intolerable pain as your body stops and restarts.

Tori was sure not to scream. If he did scream, people would rush in and wonder what happened. Tori had screamed, the first time he was revived, and the end result was not pretty at all.

“Why’d you do that?” Tori groaned.

“You were about to kill yourself,” Emerald replied matter-of-factly.

“Could of just threatened to do it, not actually do it,” Tori snapped back, getting onto his feet.

“I had to be sure you wouldn’t,” Emerald said, “I’ll be watching you closely for the rest of the day. And don’t try when I’m done with the Pokéball pole and go to alert the others in the city, I’ll still be seeing what you see.” It left the room, carefully watching Tori in the back of its mind.

“Jackass,” Tori mumbled to himself, knowing Emerald heard it through telepathy.

The rest of the day was boring. May still tried to be stuck-up around Ash, Brock found himself daydreaming about a porn magazine he found when he was about Max’s age, Sid kept on hitting on May, and Tori kept on mumbling to himself. The only interesting event was when a fight broke out between Piakchu and Plusle over the ketchup bottle. Ash managed to calm Pikachu down, but only Tori could call of Plusle. As the two mice were forced to call a truce, Minun slyly stole the bottle without anyone’s notice.

Finally, the sun began to set. A telepathic message met the minds of Ash, Brock, May, Sid, and Piakchu.

“Come outside,” Emerald’s voice sang, “it’s about time to face Indigo.”

The group began to recall other power Pokémon that spoke similarly. Mewtwo, Jirachi, and Lugia had spoken like that. But Emerald was doing it a bit differently. Normally, Emerald spoke like the others and broadcasted its voice to every mind within reach. But right now, it was individually targeting them. When it did that, the voice was much louder. However, they tried to keep calm and began the walk outside. Except Sid, who screamed like bloody murder.

After a few seconds of screaming, Sid began to collect himself. Embarrassed, he glanced around the lobby to find everyone in it staring at him.

“Good thing I kept my cool there,” Sid bragged, puffing up his chest. He ran outside with the others.

Indeed, it was nearly too dark to see. Emerald, in normal form, was a fair walk away, flying over the damaged Pokéball system pole. Amazingly, it looked almost as complete as it was before the explosion. Emerald must have some advanced abilities to literally re-arrange molecules to that level.

“Indigo should have released everyone he wasn’t killed yet,” Indigo announced casually. May tried to stifle a tear. “Now would be the best time to go. Regrettably, I can not trick your minds into seeing in the dark.”

“Great,” Brock sighed sarcastically, “there are no flashlights in the station.”

“Don’t worry, I have an idea,” Ash chimed in.

“What is it?” May asked, curious. She then remembered her anger and added an “hmph”.

“Something we’ve been working on,” Ash replied, winking at Pikachu, “Pikachu, use Flash attack!”

“Pika!” Pikachu responded. His cheeks sparked for a moment. Then with a majestic flash, the twenty or so feet encircling the mouse was as bright as day. The humans awed.

“Impressive,” Emerald forced himself to say, “Now, you four must go into the city. It won’t be too hard to find the surviving crowd; they will probably be making a loud ruckus. I will reach you when the pole is completed, and you can send out your Pokémon to help me defeat Indigo.”

A silence overcame them.

“But won’t Indigo just kill our Pokémon?” Sid dared to ask.

“It has no reason to,” Emerald explained, “Just try to wear down his energy. I will join you as quickly as I can.”

“Okay,” Ash nodded, “let’s go.”

The four trainers and mouse began their trek to Adept City, leaving the millennia-old creature behind them. Pikachu’s light showed the trail. Inside, Tori watched the window from the office where he had began to commit suicide. He knew Emerald was still watching him, he just liked this room for some reason. It would be a pleasure to die here.

“Mi!” the voice of Minun exclaimed. The positive-charged and negative-charged mice entered the room on all-fours. They approached Tori and began to watch outside alongside him

“Plusle!” Plusle gleefully pointed out, noticing Pikachu’s flash.

“Mi, Mi!” Minun responded. Plusle quickly opened the window, and Minun dashed under it. Plusle was close behind him. The two quickly ran down the tiles that they had used to get up it.

“Uh!” Tori exclaimed, confused on what just happened. Unsure of what to do, he reopened the window and began to climb down on the same path Plusle and Minun had.

Sky Pillar, co.
A few hours later

Max’s eyes stirred. With a blink, Max found himself lying back down. At first
he didn’t know where he was.

The image of Deoxys killing the girl came to mind.

Max shuddered and laid still. Was Deoxys in the room? Had Rebecca, Team Rocket,
and Munchlax survived? Where were May, Ash, and Brock? Was he… dead?

“No,” the metallic voice of the purple Deoxys answered. With a startled turn, Max saw he murdered a few yards away from him. About half the people that had been there last night were leaving through the doorway.

“Come on,” Rebecca’s voice mumbled, grabbing Max’s arm. Well, she survived. But what about-?

“Munchlax!” Munchlax cheerfully cried, unaware of what happened last night. He was only a few feet away, near Team Rocket. That was good; everyone Max knew survived. But before Max had time to adjust to what he had awoken to, Rebecca pushed him out of the destroyed lobby.

On the Edge of Adept City

“It’s so… menacing,” Max gasped.

The abandoned city did look terrifying. There was clearly a large panic, and every light was off. It was as if they were looking at a gigantic version of Stonehenge.

“Well, we better hurry,” Brock said, gesturing them to get moving. They followed Brock’s orders.

“You know, May,” Sid whispered, making sure the others didn’t hear him, “it’s really dark.”

“Uh… good observation, Sid,” May replied, considerably louder than him.

“Like, look at these dark streets. How knows what kind of things could go on in those alleys,” Sid continued.

“For God’s sake, she’s ten years old!” Ash interrupted angrily.

“What are you talking about, Saboatshi?” Sid answered obnoxiously.

“Satoshi. And I’m talking about you trying to get naked with a girl five years younger than you,” Ash replied bitterly.

“Uh…” May stammered.

Oh, great. More fighting. Pikachu decided to listen to this one. He didn’t really like this Sid kid, he was a major nuisance. But, like most people Ash met, he’d be gone within five days and never seen again. Hmm- everyone seemed to be getting testy lately. Maybe it had something to do with that Pokémon that took Max? That kind of thing happened all the time. Just recently, May was carried away by a Skarmory. How could this be any different?

“I can defend myself, Ash,” May continued her debate. How dare Ash say she was a damsel stereotype! She was going to have his head for this one.

“Would you all shut up?” Brock bellowed, “We’re supposed to be silent so Indigo doesn’t suspect us! We’re on a freaking rescue mission, remember?”

The three stopped. This was a tender moment. How could this conversation be taking back?

“Minun!” Minun called.

“Pika?” Pikachu asked, his flash attack blinking for a split second. Plusle and Minun were approaching, with Tori a few yards behind.

“Tori? What are you doing here?” Ash asked, confused.

“Followed… Plusle… and Minun…” Tori answered between breaths.

“Huh. Why?” Brock asked.

Tori paused and replied “Don’t know. Just wanted to get away, I guess.”

“Your dad’s going to be mad,” Brock sighed, stroking his forehead, “but it’s too late now. We might as well continue looking for the survivors.

The search didn’t last longer than a few minutes. A crowd of fifty or so people could easily be spotted. Surprisingly, there was dead silence. Both the large crows and the rescue crew stopped walking upon the same moment of seeing each other. Then a cry tore through:

“May!” Max yelled, rushing towards his sister.

:”Max,” she responded, holding her arms out. He instantly leaped into them and she picked him up. “I forgot that you lost your glasses.”

“To be honest, so did I,” Max giggled.

“Oh my goodness!” Brock exclaimed, starry-eyed. He leapt towards Rebecca. “Hello, what is your name? Is it by any chance… Lovely? AH!”

Max continued to pull on Brock’s ear. “Your pick-ups are getting worse by the usage. And she’s Rebecca” he groaned.

Other than Brock’s continued comments on Rebecca and Team Rocket edging towards the end so the twerps wouldn’t see them, there was barely and happenings at all. Ash merely explained they knew the way to a safe spot, and pointed them in the right direction. However-

“It’s Deoxys! It lied and is coming back for us!” someone shouted, gasping in horror at Emerald, in speed form, approaching. Panic began to spread.

“No, he’s the good one!” Ash shouted.

“Indeed, I mean you know harm,” Emerald added, “I’m here for three things. First, I’m currently giving you directions in your minds to the location of a weather station away from the battle. Second, I’m here to tell these children that the Pokéball system is working again. And third, I am here to kill the indigo Deoxys.”

“Oh, no,” Tori gasped.

Yay, thanks for the compliments, y'all! ^_^ I was planning on having chapter eight up tonight (with it being Labor Day and all). But, my parents are making me work on some research paper. Which isn't due for three wekks, may I add. <_< Expect chapter eight up on Friday or Saturday.

Oh, and I may be setting you all up, but I'm planning on having chapter eight all-action. Not a lot in revelations (I refuse to explain the Tori/Rayquaza/Emerald thing, don't I?), but lots and lots of battles. Mainly because I feel the story is boring so far. :D

Well, about the spelling and grammar errors...

Honestly, do it. Or else you shall feel the wrath. ^_^ Just kidding. If ya see one, kindly point it out. I won't be mad or anything. We all make mistakes. I just happen to make more than normal people.

And about the extreme lack of detail. Well... I'm lazy, I guess. With all the fighting next chapter, I'll really try to make it as detailed as possible. Keyword there being try. :D

Thanks for the feedback. It really helps. [keyboard symbols typed together to appear as smiley face go here]

24th September 2005, 7:04 AM

A.k.a. I finally finished chapter eight. None of the drafts seemed to be working, so I just decided and ran with it. I apoligize for the length, it's so short! >.> Anyways, here is is, Pokémon Battle.

“Indigo!” May gasped, pointing accusingly into the distance. Indeed, the alien Pokémon was on its way.

The majority of the crowd had already left. After seeing the murders of all those people, they couldn’t stand to see more. Team Rocket followed them, still not noticed by the twerps.

“Max, leave,” Ash muttered under his breath, grabbing for a Pokéball.

“C’mon,” Tori griped, pulling at Max’s sleeve. Max wouldn’t budge.

“Swellow, attack!” Ash yelled. He tossed the Pokéball into the air. With a loud burst of light, the giant bird emerged, immediately aiming for Indigo. He obviously remembered his earlier defeat and wanted revenge,

“C’mon, Metagross!” Rebecca yelled in a similar fashion. An Ultra Ball came from her hand, and the steel/psychic type Pokémon came out. White light swiftly reflected off of its metallic body. Even in the heat of a deadly battle, Max couldn’t stop himself from awing over then rare Pokémon.

“Max, leave!” Ash commanded, “Swellow, Wing Attack!

“I don’t have to listen to you!” Max angrily responded. Overhead, Swellow’s broad wings began to glow with a white shine. With an outburst, Swellow gave it everything he had.

“Swelllllllow!” the bird shouted in rage.

The feathers sliced through.

Indigo’s arm hit the ground.

May screamed in horror as the humanoid arm landed near her. Wow. What was that? How did Swellow do that? It was animal instinct. Swellow knew this creature had to die. It didn’t belong here. It didn’t belong anywhere in this universe.

“Why are you doing this?” Indigo asked in annoyance, to everyone’s surprise. When did Indigo learn to talk, exactly? How was it still alive? Why was it shocked by the assault?

“Stop asking yourselves questions! Attack!” Emerald announced. Clearly, these kids weren’t ready for this. “Attack!” it commanded again.

“You heard it! Go!” Ash barked.

Swellow and Metagross weren’t hesitant. Swellow began to dive and Metagross began to charge. But, to their utter disbelief, the red and blue arm of Indigo grew back within seconds. And it was charging for attack also.

“Stop it!” Indigo ordered. A quick beam of psychic energy shot Swellow down.

“Swellow!” Ash yelled. He rushed and caught the giant flier mid-fall. Soon followed by a tumble to the ground as Ash struggled with Swellow’s weight. “Swellow…” Ash grimaced.

“It isn’t hurt too badly,” Indigo answered Ash’s thoughts, “it’s merely-”

But Indigo’s sentence was cut off. It was knocked down by a hyper beam.

“Like that, Metagross!” Rebecca encouraged.

“So, you like games?” Indigo smugly asked. It got up from the ground, revealing itself as completely armless, with a chunk of its shoulder gone. With another quick flash, it was completely healed. In the air within seconds, the battle of Indigo and Metagross began.

Before anything could be said, the two were chasing each other. They were out of sight in a blink. A barrage of beams and blasts came from Metagross, dodged by Indigo’s speed form. The fight raged as they became obscure dots in the distance, flying by skyscrapers and causing explosions. But Metagross couldn’t stand up to that thing by itself. Without a word, Emerald gained chase, zooming off to the battle.

“We better help, too,” Brock shouted.

“Right!” the others agreed. Except for Ash, Sid and Tori. Tori gave a gentle nod as Ash kept on groping Swellow. Sid’s jaw dropped in shock.

“We are not fighting a freakin’ alien!” Sid gasped.

“Whoever the hell you are, shut up!” Rebecca commanded. Sid silently obeyed as all but Ash ran to find some way to help.

“It’ll be okay, Swellow,” he told him, “Here, get back in your ball…”

Swellow was recalled into the confounds of the red and white ball and Ash joined the others, running through the city. None of the travelers had time to notice the twisted beauty of the dark building, surrounded in loneliness.

“Quick, this one!” Rebecca shouted, pointing to one of the lone scrapers. A bit doubtful, they followed her through the entrance.

“Why are you coming, Tori?” May asked, heaving and hoeing as she struggled to catch up.

“Because!” Tori answered, not wanting to explain about his father’s almost certain death.

“Emerald, you are breaking the laws!” Indigo yelled in anger.

“Honestly, Indigo, can you blame me?” Emerald snapped back, sending a bolt from its tentacle. Indigo dodged and the bolt hit a nearby building, causing a mild explosion.

“Metagross?” Metagross asked in confusion. The poor thing had no idea what was going on, just obeying Rebecca’s orders.

“Just ignore what this idiot is saying,” Indigo told it, “It’s lying. I’m not evil at all; it’s ultimately responsible for all of this.” Indigo began to charge up for another attack, circling around the building that had just been hit.

“I’m responsible?” Emerald asked, “You’re the one that tried to kill me in the first place!”

Indigo released its attack. Thankfully, it managed to hit its target. As Emerald tried to recover, Indigo floated overhead. Metagross merely watched. “You were stealing my cosmic rays. Now you’re brainwashing these kids to do your bidding and you’re breaking the laws of the Deoxys. This isn’t the Final Confrontation and you know that.”

“Meta!” Metagross shouted. With a flash of purple light, the two Deoxys were hit by a powerful attack. Metagross now didn’t care who was responsible. All that mattered was to eliminate both of these freaks.

“I can read your mind, Metagross,” Emerald complained, “You’re wrong. I’m the good one. That purple one is evil. Pure evil. Kill.”

“Shut up, Emerald!”

“Meta!” Metagross grumbled again. It was making its point clear that it wanted to fight them both. Another psychic bolt appeared, and the three genderless Pokémon continued their complex battle. Like a violent dance, they swirled in circles and swerved in different directions, just trying to attack.

On a nearby building, Ash and the others emerged on the roof. Too preoccupied to regain breath from running up the staircase of such a large building, the group didn’t even notice Sid and Munchlax had collapsed on the way up and fell down dozens of stairs.

Panting, Rebecca managed to ask the question on her mind. “Any of your Pokémon knows an exploding attack?”

Brock nodded, trying to contain his urges under this dangerous situation. “Forretress, Explosion!” he shouted, tossing a ball into the air.

Forretress appeared. He leapt from the building and aimed for the aliens. This was really going to hurt…

A violent explosion roared by Metagross. It quickly got into an iron defense. Emerald, who had been secretly reading the thoughts of the humans, assumed defense form the second Forretress was released. Indigo unexpectedly took the bunt of it. Thrown off, it had to pause for its left arm to grow back. Upon realization, Emerald took advantage.

Emerald, still in defense form, reared back and rammed into Indigo. With a hard impact, Indigo was damaged even more.

“Enough of this,” Indigo muttered to itself, “It’s not the true Final Confrontation anyways.” With that, Indigo assumed speed form and began to fly away.

“Get him!” Emerald roared.

Ash was a bit taken back. For the “nice” Deoxys, Emerald sure did act a jerk. And what was Indigo saying about a final confrontation?

“Stop thinking like that, Ash,” Emerald growled quietly.

“Skitty, Blizzard!” May cried, tossing Skitty’s ball.

“Nyaa!” Skitty said, leaping outside. Drawing back a breath, the pink kitty spewed a majestic beam of snow balls and crystals. Luckily, Indigo was hit dead-on. It was encased in a berg of frozen water, glittering purple from its gem.

Like the one that hit the Titanic.

The iceberg fell, plummeting to the concrete ground. It was a long fall, just enough time for an ambush.

“Whirrrr,” Emerald muttered happily, speaking so vilely there wasn’t even a proper Japanese translation.

A green glow encompassed Emerald, literally taking the red and blue right out of it. A large flash ensured, and an unbelievably loud crash similar to a thunder sound roared throughout the ghost city.

Smoke covered the rooftops. Clearly, a powerful attack had been launched. Almost powerful enough to create an entire new universe.

Coughing, Ash waved his hand through the air rapidly, knowing how to deal with these situations after years of Weezing smokescreens and Seviper hazes. “Everyone okay?” he shouted, taking on a firm voice.

“No!” Tori sobbed, hands running through his white, blank hair. When had he started crying?

To everyone’s surprise, two Deoxys aroused from the smoke. One much more damaged than the other. A large gash tore at Indigo’s chest. That was bad.

“Uh-oh…” Indigo told itself, shocked. With an indecipherable grunt, it slowly changed forms into Speed. Indigo spun and faced the dawn sky, racing ffor the Sun.

Very good. This is what Destiny Deoxys should have been. there are some problems I found though. There was no need for a Titanic reference with Skitty. Also, when Emerald says “It’s lying. I’m not evil at all; it’s it that is ultimately responsible for all of this.” the ordering of the words it's it really sounds weird. "It's the one who is ultimately responsible for all of this" sounds better. Other than that I find this fic to be very origional. Keep writing.

Advice: Try writing it on weekends if/when you have time. That's what I do for my fic.I've been doing that, silly. But... my schedule really doesn't like that. I'll try to squeeze in time later. Hopefully by Sunday.

And thanks for the little review there, Sketch. I too have been getting Emerald and Emerald confused. ^_^ Probably should of thought of that beforehand...

Er.. Yes, I noticed that. ;) I really need to start using [/SARCASM].

EDIT: A commercial! WHOAMG! Beware, there are some slight spoilers.

People are seen running in panic in a city. A Deoxys-shaped shadow is seen gliding through the ground.

The purple Deoxys flies thorugh a field with its head near the camera. Its arm are below the screen. Quickly, the screen rotates to see it is carrying Max below it.

"May!" Max shouts. Below, Satoshi-tachi are running after them.

"Max!" May shouts similarily.

Inside a room wish ash all over the walls and ground at night. One wall is blown away and the ceiling is caved in. Gray dusts floats throughout the room and people are screaming. Max, Munchlax, Rebecca, Jessie, James, and Mewoth are shown watching something in the center of the room.

It is the purple Deoxys. It lifts up a little girl and begins to wither away her body until she is literally skin and bones. She oddly blows away into dusts. Max watches in horror.

Ash and the purple Deoxys are in nothigness. Only a strange yellow shimmer illuminates the screen and Ash's face seems haunting. It pans onto it as he says something.

"You are a terrible creature," he remarks coldly. The purple Deoxys seems a bit taken back, and jerks back.

Go to space. The camera slides through it until settling onto a brown planet with several large meteors. Green and purple lights are shown flshing from the other side.

"This summer, our universe..." the narrator starts.

With a deafing roar, the planet explodes and the entire screen is swallowed up. After a few seconds, it melts away into pitch black. A Pokeball appears in the center of the screen.

"...is created," he finishes.

The Challanger! begins to play, starting from the Rayquaza part. A montage begins.

At night, a Plusle and a Minun scale down a drain pipe of the side of a two-story building.

Nearing sundown in a green forest, Max leans foward to pick up an apple, only for Munchlax to reach at it from the opposite side of the screen. The camera focuses on it and it eats the apple in one gulp.

A red sky overhead what seems a tropical forest. Two Rayquazas, one of which is shiny, fly by.

On top of a skyscraper, Sid gets down on his knee in front of a confused-looking May. At Sid's back, Brock does the same thing to Rebecca.

The purple Deoxys flies through the city, with the purple Deoxys on its tail.

Close-up on Metagross in the same city, shooting a psychic attack from its X mark.

At night, May wanders through a dirty city. She sits down on the sidewalk and leans against an old building, burying her face in her hands.

Ash rides on Rayquaza's neck as they fly across a beautiful ocean by moonlight.

The Destiny Deoxys logo takes up the ccreen, with space in the background. The narrator boldly announces "Pokemon- Destiny Deoxys". The Challanger! ends.

Yay! New reader! ^^

Yay! Chapter Nine! "Prepare for More Trouble." Beware, Ash gets a bit... extreme here. o.o

“Indigo has a few hours to live,” Emerald announced, “It fled to space to find energy to live off of. But what it will find will be insufficient. It will die.”

“No!” Tori screamed.

What was that? Tori, whose mother died because of all this, was distraught over Indigo’s welfare. Indigo had already killed dozens since then. On top of that, Indigo could have killed Emerald in that battle. Why in the world would Tori be upset?

May rolled her eyes, figuring Tori was upset over the loss of life. She honestly didn’t care about him; the little jerk did peek at her in the shower. She even didn’t care about the city right now; she was a bit more concerned over Max.

“Max, are you hurt? Why are you bleeding? If Indigo hurt you, I’ll kill him!” May ranted. Before Max could explain how Sid had tripped on him and he cut his arm on the rail, Emerald interrupted.

“Indigo is already dead,” it reminded them, “I’m going to follow it and make sure it does.”

Before anyone could react, Emerald shifted into speed form and flew into the sky. The group watched until it faded from sight.

“Well, it’s over,” Ash sighed. Pikachu sighed also.

“Plusle Plu!”

“Mi Mi!”

Tori had broken into a run and bolted towards the stairs. Why, no one knew, but they figured he should be brought back. Well, except for May.

“Let him go!” she bellowed. They did.

“My *** hurts...” Sid groaned, emerging from the stairway. Tori bumped into him on his way out. “Hey, watch out,” Sid barked.

“Munchlax!” Munchlax happily cried, leaping up the stairs, right in front of Tori.

“Whoa!” Tori yelled, tripping over the furry monster. Down he tumbled, just like Sid had before.

“Pika Pi!” Pikachu called, running on all fours over to the stairway. Ash followed.

With a few thunks, Ash arrived to Tori and grabbed his hand, trying to help him up. “You okay?” Ash asked.

Tori gasped for breath and pushed Ash.

“Hey!” Ash growled, grabbing Tori’s shirt collar, “What the hell do you think you’re doing, kid?”

With a jerk, Tori escaped and bolted down the stairway. By now, mostly everyone was by the door.

“Oh,” Rebecca sighed, “Poor kid.”

“Poor brat, you mean,” Ash grumbled.

“Hey! I wouldn’t be insulting someone you don’t even know!” Rebecca snapped.

“I wouldn’t be shouting at someone you don’t even know, whoever you are!” Ash retorted, pointing to himself.

A pause followed.

“You’re right,” Rebecca sighed.

“C’mon, Pikachu,” Ash mumbled, walking down the building

“Pika…” Pikachu sadly said, hoping to play with Munchlax, Plusle, and Minun. He reluctantly followed his master.

“You know, you beautiful woman,” Brock started, “You should just ignore him. Immature children. I, however, am a true man. Brock, from Pewter over in Kanto.”

“Let me at him!” Max shouted, launching himself at Brock’s ear.

“So, May,” Sid began.

“Um. Yeah?” May asked, getting ready to back away.

“I bet you’re pretty glad I saved your brother back there,” Sid gloated, flexing an imaginary muscle.

“Really? I thought you said “we are not fighting a freakin’ alien,” Max gleefully said in his high-pitched voice, pulling Sid’s ear with his free hand. May tried to hide her extreme amusement.

The Next Day

“Rebecca. Oh, what a beautiful name,” Brock sighed, kneeling on his knee.

“Oh, what a beautiful ear,” Max sighed, grabbing it once more.

“Here you go, kids. Free ice cream all around,” the runner of the parlor said as he handed out sundaes. Ash, May, Max, Brock, Rebecca, and Sid sat at a black table outside of a small, pink-and-yellow-décor building. All of their Pokémon played nearby, along with Plusle, Minun, Munchlax, and some other wild Pokémon. The entire city had begun to claim them as heroes. Not really, since the only ones that really did anything were Brock and Rebecca. But the others were given just as much credit.

“So Tori still hasn’t been found?” Sid asked, as if he actually cared.

“No, we still can’t find him. What’s gotten into him?” Rebecca sighed, brushing off her strawberry ice cream for later. Unbeknownst to any of them, Munchlax swiftly took the ice cream and shoved it into its mouth.

“He sure did seem screwed up,” Sid shrugged. Ash couldn’t hold back a grin. Partially because of Sid’s blank observation and partially because of the satisfaction that no one here seemed to particularly like Tori.

“I have to go help look her for him anyway,” Rebecca commented, getting up from her chair. Thankfully for Munchlax, she had forgotten the ice cream anyway.

About one hour later
The forest

The tears had stopped. Well, Tori knew this was coming sooner or later. When Emerald first told him of the upcoming death, it felt so far off. Stupid him, he should of realized he was to be an orphan in a few hours.

“What are you doing?” Rebecca sighed, approaching him from behind.

Tori was at the edge of a small creek. As usual, the small forest look green and cheery. Like something out of a Disney movie. That movie with the baby Stantler, Bambi, was the perfect example.

“Um, well, my dad’s about to die,” Tori answered as if it were obvious.

“What?” Rebecca instinctively replied, raising an eyebrow.

“What do you mean ‘what’? You hear me,” Tori growled.

“Okay, first of all, stop being such a little brat, Tori. Ash was right about that last night. You are. Now, tell me what you’re rambling about,” Rebecca commanded in a stern voice.

“Okay, okay,” Tori grimaced, “A few nights ago…”

Three Days Ago
The Weather Station

“What?” Tori snickered, “Are we all one soul in three bodies?”

“Something along the lines of that,” Emerald drolly answered.

Tori was a bit taken back. At first he thought Emerald was joking. Then again, it wasn’t like Emerald to lie.

“It goes back to the day Indigo and I landed on Earth. Neither Indigo or I know much about it, but it was always a theory back on our home planet that we the ability to… connect to others like you. As in, creature of organs. Our kind has a similar body shape as yours, but our internal systems are very different. But that’s not the point. In times of extreme emotional stress, others minds will somehow build a bridge with us, the Deoxys,” Emerald tried to summarize.

“What do you mean? Build a bridge?” Tori interrupted.

“I’m not exactly sure on how to explain it. A web may be more accurate. Before, I go on, the woman Indigo impacted into was somehow family with you and your father, yes?” Emerald asked.

Tori grimly nodded.

“Thought that was the case. So, when she was killed, you two were obviously in extreme stress. So Indigo’s and your father’s minds just acknowledged each other existence. And since then, they have constantly been in contact, telling each other what the other was doing. And the same thing happened when my own gem collapsed that tall building. Rayquaza and I shared the same fate as Indigo and your father,” Indigo continued.

“But where do I come in?” Tori pondered.

“Well, I suppose your mind was in so much pain it was franticly looking for another to share with and calm itself. Maybe it found me and forced me to share. So there’s now a three-point web of you, Rayquaza, and I; and a two-point web of Indigo and your father,” Emerald seemingly finished.

“But how do you know all this?” Tori asked, surprisingly taking this all in well.

“I’ve known of Rayquaza’s mind’s presence for a long time. I’ve been watching what its been seeing for the last few years while being experimented on. Granted, I was in my weakest form and it must have been very far away, because the image was blurry, but I know it’s someplace dark. Oh, I forgot to mention I can see what you and Rayquaza see and think, right?” Emerald stupidly reminded itself. Tori stood upright, surprised. “Don’t worry, I haven’t gone there yet. But, continuing my story, when I analyzed you I instantly knew we were on the same web. And while carrying your father, I secretly checked his mind to discover he also was on another web.”

“Okay. So, what’s the bad news you wanted to tell me?” Tori asked.

“How’d you know that?” Emerald worriedly asked.

“Well, why bother telling me this if there’s know bad news?” Tori quirkily responded. Emerald was relieved he was capable of mind-reading also.

“Well… Indigo and I must fight,” Emerald began.

“Uh-huh. And?” Tori curiously urged it on.

“If Indigo dies, your father dies. If I die, you and Rayquaza die. If your father dies, Indigo dies. If Rayquaza dies, you and I die. And if you die, Rayquaza and I will die,” Emerald sighed.

Tori’s mouth dropped. “W-why do you have to fight? Just make peace with him!”

“It. Not him. And I can’t tell you why we must,” Emerald coldly answered.

“But you said you would reveal everything!” Tori yelled in a fury, “I don’t care about you stupid aliens, you going to knock us down like flies!”

“Oh, calm down…”

“Go away, you freak! I hate you! Just leave!” Tori shouted in anger. His face was red.

“Okay, brat! You’re bugging me now!” Emerald shouted back in a shockingly human expression, “Prepare for a psychological surge.”

“Wha-?” Tori began. Emerald’s eyes glowed the regular green and Tori was instantly sent into lockdown.

The forest

“It makes sense now,” Rebecca commented, “I thought it was bit weird that Emerald acting like such a jerk out there. It’s because he was.”

“It,” Tori reminded her.

“Yeah,” she sighed, “Is there any way we could stop this?”

“Well, remember the legend of Groudon and Kyogre?’ Tori chimed.

“Yeah. Rayquaza stopped them and the catastrophe was avoided. Why?” she asked.

“I think we can get Rayquaza to stop Emerald and Indigo,” Tori theorized, thrusting his shoulders back.

“But where is Rayquaza?” Rebecca asked, “You’re not making any sense.”

“Oh, I know where Rayquaza is,” Tori smiled, “Being outside for twelve hours give you a lot of time to think.”

“Okay, then,” Rebecca continued, getting frustrated, “how do you know?”

“Because I can see its view point like Emerald can.”

Adept City

“Oh, they’re getting old now,” Ash groaned.

Team Rocket’s robot stood across the street. It was shaped just as a giant Meowth.. So thankfully nothing new today. Things inside the machine were confusing, though.

“James, get off my hair!” Jessie’s voice could be heard from outside the mech. Clearly, it was really cramped in there.

“Well, I’m trying but it’s so fat and in the way!” James shouted back.

“You did not just insult my hair!” Jessie argued.

“Yeah, that was a definite low,” May nodded outside the ice cream parlor. Team Rocket continued their fight and could be heard in perfect detail all over the city.

“I’m not insulting the hair, I’m insulting the forty cans of hair spray it took to get it in the form of a shark fin!” James, who seemed a bit jumpy today, persisted.

“Hey, you idiots! Shut up! We gotta grab the twerps’ Pokémon for da boss!” Meowth interrupted.

“Can it, furball!” Jessie bellowed. A punching sound was heard, and the machine began to rumble violently as the threes’ squabble continued. Slowly, the opening of the top of the mechanical cat opening and out came…

“Wobbuffet and Chimecho?” Max asked himself.

“Wobbu Wobbu!”

“Chime Chime Chime Chime!”

“Wobbu Wobbu Wobbu Ffet!”

“”Chime Chimechimechime Chime Chime!”

“Wobbu Wobbu Wobbuffet!”

“Chime Chime Chimechime Chime!”

“Chime Chime!”

“Wobbuffet Wobbu Wobbuffet!”

“Chime Chimechime Chime Chime Chime Chime!”

“That’s right!” Jessie, James, and Meowth simultaneously cheered, also getting out of the robot.

“Pikachu, use Thunder,” Ash weakly motioned, waving his hand in the direction of Team Rocket effortlessly.

“PiPika!” Pikachu merrily responded, licking more ketchup from the top of a red bottle on the ground.

“Why is there ketchup at an ice cream parlor, anyway!” Ash exclaimed.

“Oh, I got this one,” May volunteered, “Bulbasaur could use some practice.”

“No, I’ll do it!” Sid leapt in front of her, “Blastoise, use Ice Beam!”

May sighed as a Blastoise ran past her, charging up its cannons. With a mighty blow, ice beams emerged from the tortoise, freezing Team Rocket and their root solid in an instant.

“Now, use Rapid Spin!” Sid ordered.

“Blast!” Sid’s Blastoise obeyed, curling into its shell and rocketing towards the frozen machine. With a shatter, the sculpture split to pieces and Team Rocket was sent flying.

“Looks like-“ they began in mid-air.

“Shut up!” Ash yelled at them, cutting their infamous phrase short.

“Uh, that was easy,” Sid remarked.

“Don’t be surprised,” Brock grinned.

Much to Sid’s disappointment, his performance was met with grunts and mumbles instead of clapping and applause. Hey, the guys saves the city and gets the shaft? What gives?

“Gee, what a bad crowd,” Sid frowned.

“Their friends and family have just been murdered, Sid, did you forget that?” Brock asked skeptically.

“I didn’t,” Max said. Four human frowns turned to him. Watching people’s minds being literally sucked out of them would clearly affect him for life. Than again, Munchlax didn’t seem too affected. May was a bit more worried what her parents would say. As annoying as Max is, she likes his company for whatever reason.

“Twerp’s back,” Ash groaned, pointing over a few blocks. Indeed, Tori and Rebecca were approaching. After reclaiming their Pokémon, the group warmly greeted Tori.

“Where in the world did you run off to?” Ash sarcastically asked.

“Thinking even more were about to die,” Tori answered with a smug look on his face.

”Being paranoid much?” Ash snootily barked back.

“Shut up, Ash,” Brock firmly said, smacking Ash over the back of the head.

“What was that for?” Ash growled, rubbing his head.

“Would you just listen to me?” Rebecca snapped them back to the current situation.

“Yeah, what is going on?” May inquired.

“We are going to go find Rayquaza” Tori answered, keeping his it’s-obvious attitude,

“Well, where is it?” May persisted.

“New York City,” Tori responded.

Agh... any suggestions or critisim? It's kinda hard to work with "It's great! Keep up the good work," you realize. :P Not that I mind people reading and commenting, it's an enjoyment. But its far from perfect, gimme advice, darn you! *ker-FWAP*

This fic, once again, keeps getting better chapter by chapter. I kinda like the fact your making Ash and the others cuss. Makes it better >:-) Anyway... um... keep up the good work.

great exept one thing wat happend to ray... the weird guy with blazikin..... is it possible that hes dead? as in my fantasy?Rafe? Oh, I can't stand him and his sisters either. It was probably because his little rivalry with Ash was so forced. If he was an actual recurring character, I'd probably like him more. But alas, he wasn't, and he sucks. So you consider him dead. :P He was at one point planned for a cameo near the end, but I took that out. He may show up in the sequel, though. I haven't a vlue on any of the sideplots of it yet. XD

And Champion, yeah, that little connection thing is kinda... stupid. It sounded okay in my mind, but in text it was... bleh. o.o Oh well, it was... unavoidable. *hint hint*

And thanks for the positive comments once again! ^^ *bear hugs you all*

And, bah! Use spoiler tags for the commercial, you two! *fwap* :P And yes, despite only having a split-second appearance in the previous nine chapters, Rayquaza will indeed be kickass. Or attempted kickass, anyway.

1. world peace

2. the next chapter.

The Mega Champion

^^^ Obviously, the next chapter. Because the world will probably never be in peace.

7th January 2006, 12:05 AM
World peace.

We're probably gonna have extra terriastrial problems before the next chapter.

Lil Brother
7th January 2006, 12:15 AM
The world will be in peace when the core freezes and all life is wiped out, at any rate.

We're already having alien problems, man. Who did you think was responsible for Beauty and the Geek?

yea i did that. ive been reading "my end" by motig, but he has not posed a chapter for a while either, so im back to square 1.
i dont think lil brother likes me very much. im giving this fic one more month before i give up on it.

It's *** kicking time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

19th January 2006, 12:15 AM
This fic so far is awesome. I agree on the Destiny Deoxys being a let down and you totally are doing a much better job then first expected of me. I thought this would be a failure but you obviously proved me wrong 5/5 stars is what this fic deserves and you should be proud of it.

It's hard to imagine that a fic could be this good. I just read this and it is 100% better than the movie. No question. This is an easy 5-5 stars. I can't wait for the next chappie.

Now, is there really any point to this. I mean really, the cake thing is a little unrealistic and completely uneeded isn't it?

You see... this isn't really getting us anywhere. You guys are doing all of this... yet... I see no chapter.Actually, I finally got around to finishing the second draft today in class.. Now to type it into the computer and make some last-minute proofreading.

So... if I stay up all night it may be up by Sunday/Monday-ish. But it I don't and type it whenever I'm not swamped it should be up by... maybe seven days from now.

Wow, I suck.

Now, is there really any point to this. I mean really, the cake thing is a little unrealistic and completely uneeded isn't it?To keep the thread from not being weeded out or anything.

Or I posted that at 2:50 in the morning. Lack of awareness and such. I honestly don't even remember typing it. :P

Lemme throw something out there, just an idea.

If it's okay with the original author (Lil Brother), would anyone be opposed to me taking over this fic? I doubt I can deliver a perfect bullseye but I'll see what I can do. Enigma Shadow is already finished, all I have to do is edit the chapters as I post them, so this would give me an active challenge.

sure y not but since ur still a pokeshipper don't try to completly change the story or something like tht not sayning tht pokeshipping is bad cause i support it but i also support advanceshipping as well. so um.... just leave the story the way it is like and um...... yeah.

I pledge to stick as close to the established story as possible. I'm just waiting on Lil Brother's consent, then I'll go forward.

And if AdvanceShipping is a concern....heh, I've got something special up my sleeve for that. You'll have to wait and see. ;)

Lil Brother
14th March 2006, 4:58 AM
So... yeah. School and laziness are in the way. Once summer gets rearing to go, I'll probably be in full force again. I started summer 05, making me so pathetic that it takes a year or more to write a very short fic.Soooooory to burst your bubble, Great Butler but I'm not over just yet.

First, let me make this public service announcement:

The fic is on hold now. It will be continued this summer.

For realz. I have plans for a much bigger (and in my opinion, much better) series. But I plan on getting this one out of the way before or a little into it. The problems are that I have real life and general laziness in the way. But with summer comes sun and staying inside all day typing on the computer. ^^ Another problem is I know just about every little detail of what happens next, so I just lose interest. It's fun to just know the major plot points and not the little things. it's really boring just copying from brain to keyboard, if you know what I mean.

But once I'm done, I would be thrilled to read your interpretation, Great Butler. The "something up your sleeve" has me intrigued. XP

For the record, I'm not an AdvanceShipper at all. It just ended up unfolding that way. o.o

And thanks for liking it so much, everyone! ^^ *virtual cookie nonsense* Yes, there are spelling errors and such, but I plan on making a better quality job when it's started up again.

The Mega Champion
16th March 2006, 11:36 PM
^^^ Well... don't expect me to bump it, because, according to the rules, your not allowed to. So if the thread dies, don't blame it on me. Hell you shouldn't blame this thread dying on anyone. If you want to make sure this thread doesn't die, do it yourself.

The Great Butler
17th March 2006, 12:17 AM

10th August 2006, 3:24 AM

*had this typed out but accidently closed the window* Aaaagh!

Does anyone find it weird that thefirst day I've ever looked at this thread in over two months is the same day that it's posted in?

Yeah, chapter ten isn't even halfway done yet. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry! I'm only lazy. :( But chapter ten will be up before 2007... maybe hopefully. o.o Would you all just like it if I finished the last chapter up as quick as possible just to give this some closure? There is a possibilty of it being re-released without all the things that make it an obvious fan fic written by a 13/14-year-old fanboy. Things like Ash being completely out of character and such.

Just... don't quote me on any of that.
