Post in the people you respect, hey if possible try giving some reasons and explanations as to why you respect these people. Also remember guys this is a respect list, not a disrespect list and i'd very much appriciate it if we could all keep it that jolly way;

These are feature for the same reasons, regarding the recent 33 page marathon topic i felt that these people all handled themselves in a dignified and coordinated way, presenting their opinions and respecting others whilst allowing the discussion to develop and progress as much as it could with hindering it into some form of spamming contest between "n00bs" and "n00b slayers" (Emphasis on the inverted commas.)

I don't care that I am not on that list. But how the heck could I not be one of the people who handled themselves correctly on that thread. I even said a few things about how the boycotting was not going to work, and how the 33 page spam fest was useless. And since I am neither N00b or n00b slayer, that would mean I was (as well as Ed, SM, and CC, who are not on that list) one of the people who hindered the development of the discussion.

Ok here's whom I respect:

Edward Elric- EE deals with all of the crap here in misc. He keeps this area clean and is a very responsible moderator. Although EE may be serious of mod positioning, EE is very humorous and also very mature. And don't forget that EE's a FMA fan. :D

RaZoR LeAf- responsible for the sigs on thos forum. It's great when RaZoR "kills" a sig. Yet RaZoR is a responsible s-mod and keeps the forums running quickly by limiting the sig's file size.

Jynxo- Very mature poster, Jynxo is a very excellent poster in this forum. Also Jynxo is humorous and will always make someone laugh.

Dragon-master-mog- I think you are on of the top 3 mature posters on this forum. Though you may be serious at some points, you seem very intellegent and deserves respect. Also thanks for the idea on "n00bism".

Shining Mew- holy s***, you have to deal with the most crap on this forum IMO. You are a very responsible super moderator and know your job. R/S/E and RMT would be hell if you weren't here IMO. You're a great mod and you are very friendly to talk to. Not to mention funny(especially when closing spam threads). Also you're a NY'er. XD

Serebii- administrator of sppf!!! All hail serebii!! Seriously, the forum wouldn't exist if it weren't for you. Thanks serebii.

Hanon Hosho- I lost a great deal of respect for you after you became a "flirt". But yet you still keep misc. Alive along with the others and you are very charismatic. I still have some respect for ya ;D.

define respect. If you mean respect as in "respecting those with their unique views and opinions", then that should be pretty much everyone. If you mean respect as in "people I like", then I think I already answered that in the "Favorite Members" thread over in the Misc. Polls. If you mean respect as in "people I look up to", then I'd have to say Edward Elric.

Call me arrogant if you must, but Alfonso, Gravy, Dragon Master Mog, all those other guys I claimed liking several times, I really always looked at us all as being about my equals rather than any particular one seeming as though they're above the other. Sure, some of them may do a few things better than me like present their opinions in a slightly better manner (this is especially true considering I seem to have a habit of getting into rants and cramming in every little detail about my opinion, important or otherwise), but overall, on several occasions, I feel as though we're all on the same train of thought, with roughly the same amount of knowledge and such. Ed's different, though. I may be repeating some things, but his common sense? As perfect as I've seen them come. His presentation? Just beautiful. He knows when society's being stupid (I loved that Live Journal of the 400-pound woman), doesn't take crap from anyone, made a forum presenting deep, philosophical views on life (which all seemed true, by the way), has got several good tastes (one of which that isn't overly popular as is, like FMA or Family Guy, being old-school Final Fantasy plus FFIX), he actually cares about others he knows over the internet (even MewSkitty when he faked that suicide announcement), and he's dedicated enough to keep this and other forums clean of idiots, does several other things online, he seems like he does quite a bit of gaming and anime-viewing, and yet still manages to find plenty of time to maintain a normal life. On the internet or in real life do I rarely get to know of such a remarkable person.

I guess you could say that the way I view all of us based on my personal levels of respect is like.... well, let's say Ed's a master, and me and all the others are the elite soldiers. We all seem to be at the top of our game, and there can be multiples sharing our rank, but there's just one other who's above us all.

All the people that are in the NSA! :) And ****. And ORAL. And all those acronym groups. Which is kinda funny cuz most of those members can have their names shorten down to acronyms like I_D and whatever. :P [/sarcasm]

Basically, anyone with half a brain, shows common courtsey despite it being the Internet and blah blah. And those who understand sarcasm and didn't need that tag to know that the above was sarcasm. Not saying that NSA and the rest don't have that. It's just that everyone else basically put that.

Edward Elric - I honestly don't have a huge reason for this, I've just always held him in high regard.

Phantom_Bugsy - Always lets her opinion be known, even at the expense of her social life on "the outside".

Ain’t this technically the third or forth respected/ favourite member thread that we’ve has been here and misc polls in recent weeks? It’s becoming slightly tedious but whatever… I’d just like to thank all those that have mentioned me, especially S:C for the in depth description, I really appreciate knowing that I actually make a difference.

Anyway, many members virtually own my unspoken respect, I don’t exactly need to validate it but people like Alfonso and Phantom_Bugsy deserve respect simply just for their strong personalities, and many other members such as S:C, Dubble Flux etc are also worthy of respect. But out of all the members here, the main few who have earned the utmost respect in my opinion are -Dragon Master Mog- and Jynxo, purely for being so damn unique, and they both have the ability to defend themselves as well as their opinions… but their defining attribute is humour. Comedy value is a large factor of what makes them who they are. Also, Ninetales is basically a goddess.

Bluekikatana *my other IRL here, I've seen him only once, but he's a really cool person IN person. If you were to meet him, you'd have a good time.*

-xXSaberXx- I respect this girl a lot. She’s a good writer and she always is being a good friend.

-Roy Mustang- Originally he would stop talking to me when I would talk about animes I liked and he doesn’t, but now he lets me ramble about anything and everything X3

-Phantom Bugsy- She’s a good person, I must say, even though I don’t know her well. She doesn’t bash n00bs for no reason and she defends what she likes from other members, not bashing them.

-Edward Elric- He deals with all the morons and idiots and doesn’t go easy on anyone. Ed rocks, you don’t ^_~

-Alfonso- He just pwns you, get over it.

-I_D-I can’t spell his name, but he puts up a lot of good debates and I respect him for that.

For actual respect, I too must list the obligatory three. Edward Elric, Phantom_Bugsy and Alfonso. Although I tend to lurk rather than post in some forums (especially the anime discussion) I've always strangely admired how Phantom_Bugsy can be such a rabid fangirl (in a good way) but SO many people still respect her. Alfonso is awesome because he won't take the crap and EE is just cool because he actively posts, rather fairly moderates the forums and is all round a nice guy. Well, that's at least how it seems. Am I wrong?
