Talk about the hit Australian tv series "Neighbours" been going for 20 years now, and as far as i know, it is shown in England as well as Australia.

Don't watch it, but I saw a few episodes. Australia are about to get the Plane bomb episode where Serena, David and someone else die(Huge Spoiler!). The UK have just had the 20th Anniversary Special.

Yep, it's true. It was recently found out that David dies, but Serena's death was known for ages. The other person is either Lil or Alex.

Also 2 other people fake their deaths, but one of them turns up at the funeral. It could be either Paul, Izzy or Dylan

I LOVE Neighbours! I watch it whenever I can, I'm gonna watch it today.
I find it much more eventful and exciting than other soaps such as Eastenders (now that's a show that's gone downhill), also I love Australia.

I first started watching it back in 2003 when Delta (Nina Tucker) was in it but then I stopped up until the summer holidays of this year.
I'm so glad that Delta (Nina) was in the 20th anniversary special (that was a good episode).

I love Izzy aswell, she's so minxy but lush aswell, I think she's great.

I missed what happened most of last week because I was doing something else, can anyone fill me in?

Oh, i'm so glad there are fans out there ^_^, neighbours is like one of my fav non-anime shows. (ok House and The O.C too) but glad to see people replied. In UK, i think Sindi is about to be found out who she really is, that was a juicy ep (i'm in aus btw) i though UK was further behind than it was, but it would be about 6 months at the most behind. On neighbours recently Izzy was brought back to reality (luv her) by her brother, Ashley is with her real parents and Boyd and Steph are getting over never seeing her again, Dylan made a fool of himself by making a list of girls he has 'been with' to cover up his in-experience, Janae yelled at Karl, and he snapped back after the break up with Izzy to get back up, and asked Susan to go to Paris with him, which she refused. Theres the update for ya.

I heard that Susan dies, it was apparently in the TV guide that Carl and Alex mourn her death. And apparently one person comes back on friday.

Now that the plane crash episode has aired in Australia I guess this can kind of be discussed but people from over seas be warned, it could contain spoilers.

I think Dylan dies or fakes his death to get away from the Police. I also think that David will die because of the way Harold farewelled him on Monday. I didn't think Serena was going to die, but since Connor wasn't with her in the preview it looks like she could have. I hope not though, two gone from the same family. Poor Lil.

Oh and my favourite character is Stingray, gotta love him!

Ah yes, I love Neighbours. I watch it every day without fail :P But after finding out about whats going on in Australia's episode has unsettled me a bit XD

The last episode we had in England was the one where Karl asked Susan to go to Paris with him, and Baby Ashley ended up with Kayla & Anthony.

I love the House of Trouser. Connor and Toadie are effing hilarious sometimes.

:: David and Lil die. Serena disappears during the crash, so she could be dead.
:: Dylan and Connor wash up on shore, but Connor is alive. Dylan returns at his funeral.

Wow, juicy spoilers :O Can't believe that Lil, Dave and possibly Serena die. After all, they just patched their problems up.. Ah well. Funny how Dylan turns up at his own funeral, at least he didn't die I suppose. Could anyone give me more details about why they're on the plane/where its headed.

I love Izzy aswell (who ever said that), she's really lush and I love her her *****iness (affairs, baby's that aren't her partners etc) one great character!

I can't believe Carl found out she was having an affair with Paul :O

I'm really jealous of Australia, they're so far ahead of us and it seems really good in 6 months, lol, I'm sure we'll get our fair share of storylines before that. They're good at the moment.

BTW, Paul gives some people tickets for a 1940's style plane ride to celebrate the anniversary of Lassiters (odd considering he burned the place down), and on the plane, Izzy finds a note, which is linked to her and Karl. While going over a freezing sea of water the bomb goes off

the actress who plays Lil asked for more money, and the producers refused. So she said she would finish up her contract.

so the writers wrote Dave, Lil and Serena off the show.

I love the series so much, I have count downs with my friends at school every day about how long it is until Neighbours ^^;; The suspense in the story about the plane is just so horrible! I enjoy Neighbours and am a proud who watches it from time to time.
I like Susan (much being it my mums name but thats not the point) she's kind amd sweet.

Neighbours means a great deal to Australia....like Kath and Kim and other great Aussie programs. (dont point me out of stealing a certain Holdens ad line XD)

Currently in the UK, Stuart and Cindi have just had their Staganendoo's and Toadie is trying to prove that Cindi was at the Stag party spying on them. According to the newspaper, he finds concrete evidence this week, but loses it and so can't prove it to Stu on his wedding day.

Obviously you Austrlians will know what happens, but I'm betting either Cindi has an evil identicle twin, or she's going to try to kill Stu and make off with all his money. I hope it's not that latter, Blair MacDonald is to sexy to leave Neighbours.

Yep, we just had that one. IIRC, Toadie finds evidence, but is knocked out and someone steals the evidence. Sindi leaves next month, I think.

Ive grown up with Neighbours for about 90% of my life(Im 16, so its been quite a while). Been on and off it latley, great show, but missed quite a few episodes.

But still, Poor Harold! He is the only character I fully remember from my Childhood, like a father figure to me. When Midge died, I sobbed for over 5 hours. Then he changed when he had the strock(Made me cry too, missed the old Harold and glad he was back ^___^) And to hear he has lost his family, and commits murder is just....Like hearing thier is no Christmas this year. Doesnt make sense to me....

Here is the latest in the Aussie side of the story: Paul Robinson's son Robert has appeared and is pretending to be Paul's other son and twin brother to Robert named Cameron! Cam is meanwhile in a coma for something Robert did in purpose. Elle has put lots of trust in Robert thinking he is Cam. The real scary thing is Robert is a psycho, he's the one who put the bomb on the plane and Harold sensed something off him ... sounds like trouble. Meanwhile Susan gave the kids to their sister (don't know how to spell her name) Kartya? But Rachel isn't happy as her new 'mother' lays down the rules. Steph has had her baby boy Charlie at last and he is healthy, Steph is just about to come out of hospital, but the truth of the cancer treatment is still unknown.

So what's happening overseas? Where are you up to?
