I would lead Swampert or Starmie over this. Most common leads these days are Salamence/Metagross/Water-types, and Swampert (with Ice Beam) best covers all these threats. With Salamence, you're getting boned against most common starters.

Do not listen to people who tell you to use Thunderbolt over Surf. There are very few non-uber Pokemon that can operate without STAB (actually, Gengar is the only one that comes to mind,) and Starmie is not onesuch Pokemon. I like this set as it is; though, if you decide to put Ice Beam on Swampert, change the IB on this to TB.
Edit: Just saw Claydol. Give that thing Rapid Spin, and this guy BoltBeam+Surf. Trust me.

I like Heal Bell on my Celebis, personally. I know I'm a pretty 'old skool' battler, and I'm not 'with it,' as 'it' were, but this seems like just gimmick stuff to me. Swampert won't always be ther to absorb Thunder Wave, you know. I guess Calm Mind works, though.

I know it's a little standard, but Pain Split/Shadow Ball/Focus Punch/Will-o-Wisp is a moveset made in heaven for Dusclops. If it makes you feel more at ease, Focus Punch > Seismic Toss will help maximize those Atk EV's you gave it.

Fine team, but you're going down as soon as you run into a well-played SurfBeamer. Starmie's your best bet against it, and without Thunderbolt, you're not doing much to Suicune for example. My advice would be using the movesets I provided, and maybe also using Roar on Swampert or something. Just my 2 cents, and trust me, these are some valuable cents.

I'm aware of this, but I feel the need to point out that people who 'suck at prediciton' are going to fail in the competetive environment, regardless of their team. I was simply pointing out that Focus Punch would optimize the usefulness of those EV's.

And I run your Swampert set, but with Roar > Curse. Of course, I'm typically Baton Passing to it, but... whatever. If you do decide to put Roar > Curse, you'll need to seriously rethink your EV placements, but otherwise go for RoarMence. More of a surprise element, IMO.
